Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hardcore foe or friend of the show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
You are.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Good morning, folks, It's a beautiful Thursday morning. You gotta
love Trump if you love Rubio, and everyone seems to
love Rubio. Man, it's amazing this guy could just like
coast into it. He has the jam. He's all right,

(00:25):
copitlist America, Trump, Ben Rubio.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Sounds like this guy's been enjoying himself some mini leaf.
That's what I'm saying. Good morning, and I love your show.
Arrived to hear to the iHeartRadio Minneapolis studios this morning
and I was quickly informed that we had no lights.

(00:50):
It's inside of the studios that's been remedied, so thank
you to the powers that be. I was reminded of
when I started off doing radio, specifically, when I started
off doing talk radio, I used to keep the lights
like really low, and I had like mood, this mood lighting.

(01:12):
I couldn't have it any other way. The lights were
on full drove me nuts. And then we ended up
doing a two hour live broadcast of the show on
a local CW affiliate and we needed to have all
the lights on for the cameras and all that. And
ever since then, I've needed full lights in the studio.

(01:32):
I tried to work for a while just off of
I thought it might be kind of fun. I had
my coffee. I thought I would work off of just
the lights of the computer monitors, of which I have
multiple in front of me, the television monitor, and then
I even have like a stand for my cell phone
that I keep in front of me and you can
angle it down. So I turned the light on and

(01:53):
I had it shining on my prep. Yet that wasn't
working at all. It's too much of an ice training
that having to go out to sales to go and
start prepping. But again, as I mentioned, the lights are
back on.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
You're fascinating to talk to and welcome.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
To Thursday show here on Twin City's News Talk AM
eleven thirty and one oh three five FM. Devin in
the studio next door also happy to see the lights on,
although not happy with that game last night. Yeah, that
was a bit of a it was a bit of
a crushing loss. To make it even worse, Yeah, I
wasn't even able to watch it. And I'm so invested
in this team that I have to go back and

(02:28):
watch it, uh huh. Knowing that it's that bad oh,
why would you still go back and watch it though?
Because I need I need to see I know, I
know I would, Yeah, I mean'd be the same for
me whenever, regardless of what driver it is that I
was following, you know, Dale Junior or now Alex Bowman
in NASCAR. If ever they got into an accident and

(02:49):
they were out of the race, Melinda would always be like,
are you gonna keep watching them? Of course I'm gonna
keep watching a little different when it comes to basketball,
but still it's that allegiance that you have. Of course
you need to see. You need to see what led
to the failure and their inability to go and win
a basketball game. So I completely understand that. On the

(03:09):
show this morning, we will talk with another Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate.
We had Tom Tiffany on yesterday an hour two of
the show. If you missed it, check out the podcast
on the iHeartRadio app. Andy Mansky, we'll be joining us
coming up just after eight o'clock today, so we'll get
to know him a little bit unfamiliar with Andy, a
young gentleman running for governor in our neighboring state. Got

(03:35):
a lot of ground to cover. We got an announcement
at eight thirty this morning out of the City of
Minneapolis regarding the police chief. I'm Brian O'Hara, and there's
kind of conflicting reports going around around over this. So
one of the stories, the story that I grabbed initially
was just that there'll be an announcement by Minneapolis man
Babe may or Mom Jeans Jacob Pry coming up regarding

(03:57):
the police chief at a thirty on Thursday. A couple
other stories are reporting that Fry is planning on nominating
O'Hara for another four years. But I'm also seeing commentary
online from those who think that he might be on
his way out. He doesn't have support from the electivist

(04:18):
leadership in Minneapolis. That's pretty clear. Make no mistake if
they ended up booting the current police chief based off
of the clowns that are running the show in Minneapolis now,
I mean, can you even imagine who they would him
to bring in. I just end up hiring a violence
interrupt he to become police chief in Minneapolis. So we'll

(04:38):
be following that towards the end of the show today.
We did have some comments that rolled in overnight specifically,
and I wanted to share this share these with you
because I like to make sure that those who are
leaving talkbacks based off of their listening habits in the
podcast also get their fair share of time on the
show by leaving a comment to you by Lyndahl Realty,

(05:01):
I played this clip yesterday. I'll just play a portion
of it here. This was a former mayor Transportation Secretary
Pete boodhagic town hall that he had recently where he
just allowed this poor woman to go on believing that
trans people could end up in concentration camps.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Every day I wake up scared because a person I
love is trans, and I'm waiting for the day that
they start banging on doors and taking our trends and
our gay friends and family to concentration camps. And they
can't get our trans friends and family can't get a passport.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
And we're going to talk more about that later on.
Because the Democrats voted down once again requiring voter ID
in our state elections, and Representative Lee Finky just touted
all the same ridiculous false narratives and lies relating to
the same America Act, which doesn't apply to what they

(06:03):
were voting for in Saint Paul, except for the fact
that this would provide you know, requiring voter ID here
in Minnesota. In this clip from Pete Boodages, by the way,
he doesn't push back on that. He just basically reinforces
this woman's conspiracy that trans people would end up in
concentration camps. So we did have a couple of comments

(06:25):
that came in from overnight. I'll share those with you
in just a moment here on Twin Cities News Talk.
Of course, you can email me Justice at iHeartRadio dot com.
I see some other talkbacks are already coming in as well.
We'll also update the latest on Trump and his potential
release of files relating to UFOs Cash. Ptel issued an

(06:48):
update yesterday on the release of these files. Trump allies
apparently have gathered at the White House. According to some reporting,
these are Christian leader allies across the country, saying that
they need to prepare their church goers for the potential
of this release. While astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson does what

(07:11):
he does a lot lately, and that is downplays all
of it. It's kind of a downer when it comes
to this stuff. It's kind of bugging me now. So
we'll get to this coming up on Twinsday's news Talk
at AM eleven thirty and one oh three five FM.
Good Morning.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Every day, I.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Wake up scared because a person I love is trans
and I'm waiting for the day that they start banging
on doors and taking our trends and our gay friends
and family to concentration camps.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Good morning, John, This is Chris and Taska, fan of
the show. I've never called you before hours, but I
just had to make a comment today on social media,
I saw many many.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Rolls out there talking about ice.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Detention centers and calling them concentration camps. So apparently the
memo went out that's not now, that's what we need
to call them.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
That is so offensive to anyone.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, it really is, But this is what the left does.
I've made this example many times in the past, but
one of the most frequent criticisms that I received, especially
early in my talk radio career, were individuals who would

(08:38):
always try to claim that the views that I share
on the show weren't my own and that I just
got my talking points for the day, You just got
your talking points. Like, Okay, this is a really dumb
argument because it kind of puts the onus on the
individuals that provided me the talking point, Like if you
don't like the talking point, they get mad at the
individual who ended up giving me the opinion. I mean,

(08:59):
that doesn't me never, That's never happened to me. I've
never had a boss or anybody handing me any of
my any of my my notes. But this happens all
the time on the left, and there are plenty of examples,
screenshots of hundreds of posts when the memo goes out,
as she mentioned, as Chris mentioned, and thank you Chris

(09:20):
for the talk back brought to you by Lindahl realty
that this is the line of attack that we now
need to use, which is all very you know, Hitler
Goebel's Nazisque. Repeat the lie enough and people will go
and believe it.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
Hi, John, I got some comments about the woman who's
writing about her trans relatives being put in concentration camps.
Adam Carolla covered this in his podcast and pointed out
that Trump's been in an office for a total of
five years now, so he's way behind schedule in getting
all these people into concentration camps. Also, the whole thing
reminds me of the SNL skit, or they're selling robotish

(10:01):
invasion insurance to senior citizens.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I thought about that one in a long time. Thank
you for the comment. Via the iHeart radio app. All right,
let's go here, the head of the FBI updated the
public about the UFO files the President has said will
be released. This comes after Trump spoke to reporters earlier
this week at the White House and claiming that some

(10:26):
very interesting, newly uncovered UFO files could soon be made
available to view, and during the press conference, the President
claimed that we're going to be releasing a lot of
things that we haven't I think some of it's going
to be very interesting to people. All right, sort of
a Trump version of.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
You're fascinating to talk to.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Speaking about the files previously, Trump said the first releases
will begin very very soon. So you can go out
and see if that phenomenon is correct. You'll figure it out. Now.
While not much as known about what is in the files,
FBI director Cash Mattel to confirm that the files have
been delivered for release. I don't know what this means.

(11:10):
I mean, are we going to be dropping these like
we used to typically go and drop you know, a
band would drop their new single I'm going to be Surprised,
releasing my new song seven am on Thursday. This kind
of this kind of thing. Trump has shared that the
information does contain documents related to alien and extraterrestrial life,

(11:32):
unidentified aerial phenomenon UAP, and un Identified flying objects UFOs,
and any and all other information connected to these highly
complex but extremely interesting and important matters. Now. Earlier this week,
this story was making the rounds quite a bit regarding
all of this. Popular American pastors or apparently have warned

(11:55):
that President Donald Trump's release of the Alien files could
shatter Christian beliefs, saying churches should be ready to keep
their congregations together. The claim officials in the administration have
been in touch with them all right. So the claim
is that US intelligence officials held a series of meetings

(12:19):
and told these leaders of various churches around the country
to prepare to hold the Christian community together in the
wake of the revelations that would be shockwaves. Popular evangelists.
To pastor Perry Stone said that the alien files could
include reports and possibly videos of aliens and extraterrestrial spacecraft.

(12:40):
That'd be cool. Show me some lizard people up in here,
give me some grays with the small MOUs You know,
they have the small moles, which is causing distress among
some of the experts because they say that the aliens
we've come in contact with they have small moules and
no teeth, and so they have to survive off a

(13:00):
liquid diet, and apparently copper is abundant in their bodies,
and therefore they need to consume a lot of copper.
And they're doing this through blood, and that humans are
actually being harvested for their blood as we appease the
aliens while they prepare to integrate into the United States.
Can you tell that I wiped out on a couple
of TikTok videos last night? It was it was wild stuff, man, John.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
Whatever time efforts dollars are being spent by these quote
unquote church leaders, what a waste. All they need to
hear is the Gospel of Christ preached, more, better, wider,
whatever that is.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
That's all they need to do. Okay, So I agree
with you. However, it would be irresponsible to downplay the
reaction if there were any shocking revelations. So this evangelist
Perry Stone said, you're going to have people who are

(14:07):
going to say that if there are galaxies and there
are allegedly other creations in the galaxies, then the whole
creation story is a myth, and you're going to have
people who are going to apostasize and turn from the
Christian faith because they have no answer for what they're
about to hear. I I've never understood this, by the way,

(14:30):
as a Christian myself, and you know, believing in our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and raised in a stunch
Christian household, I've never understood that argument. If you are
also a Christian and you believe that the you know,
the Lord, our God, that God created everything, you know,

(14:50):
kind of like with our light, you know, let there
be lights this morning. Is we didn't have any light
in the studio for a little while, right then it's
kind of easy to reason, all right, the Bible is
applicable to what's happening here on earth. But that's not
to say that God hasn't gone and created other life
intelligent or you know, start eating bacteria like astrophage in

(15:14):
Project Hail Mary. It seems a very sort of small
minded view of the power of the Lord God Almighty,
in my opinion, be this as it may. I do
understand the concern that people have. We'll talk a little
bit more about this in just a moment, because I
do want to share what Neil deGrasse Tyson had to
had to say in these issues. You know, these types

(15:37):
of lead ins and lead ups to revelations like this,
He is right, they typically do go and disappoint. The
last time we had files released, you see the videos,
the tic TACs and the black and white footage taken
from jets and you want this, you know, Michael Bay
style HD. You want to get that, and it's never
turns out to be that. So that could very well

(15:58):
be the case here. And I don't know just you
know the validity of these church groups, but there are
several individuals who are all reporting the same thing of
this meeting that took place at the at the White House.
I'll give you more details on that and we'll get
to your thoughts coming up. Hello, the you're on Twin
City's news talking. I'm eleven thirty and one three five FM.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
That is my uh my favorite sound cliff that you
play in You're fascinating to talk to you.

Speaker 9 (16:33):
I literally laugh out loud by myself in my truck.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Hey, how can you play that?

Speaker 10 (16:38):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (16:38):
You know what? Prepare to laugh again.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
You're fascinating to talk to.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
I feel so powerful Twin City's News Talk. He I'm
eleven thirty one oh three five FM. Trump's alien files
could shatter Christian beliefs. Churches should prepare for it, claim pastors.

Speaker 11 (17:06):
Small mals, no tea steel copper. Are we talking about
aliens or metheads?

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Why not both? The group of Christian leaders also involved
Bishop Allen DiDio of the Revival Nation Church. As we
continue to cover this on Twin Cities News Talk, he
suggested that Trump administration's revelations will be part of a

(17:36):
plot designed to do pull people away from Christianity because,
of course, but ultra conservative voices in the administration have
taken up an anti alien stance. Is this a new
term that I'm just now becoming from ultra conservative voices?
Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna said that the Jewish Book

(18:00):
of Enoch mentions aliens, saying it was written one hundred
to three hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ,
and she dubbed aliens as interdimensional beings. Said the Book
of Enoch mentions two hundred angels known as Watchers, who
arrived on Earth and mate it with humans. Luna has
also claimed that she has seen evidence of alien spacecraft. Cool.

(18:26):
Have I seen a spaceship personally? No, she says, I
have seen evidence of this. Yes, I've seen photo documentation
of aircraft that I believe were not made by mankind. Yes.
Is there a historical significant significance to this? Yes? She
told this to Joe Rogan last year on his podcast.

(18:47):
So how do our foes of the show feel about this?
This morning?

Speaker 9 (18:51):
Hey more th This Ara from Brainerd very excited to
hear that Cash Betel is going to release the Alien files.
Hopefully he can do that. When he released is the
Epstein files, which is never.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
They have what's called a Trump derangement problem. Have you
heard about that problem? He went on to pitch a
fit about I'm sorry, she went on with the voice
disguiser to pitch a fit about gas prices and whatnot.
You're stuck on stupid. I don't know how to help you.
I would like to believe that listening to the show
would be a step in the right direction. So far

(19:26):
it hasn't been. But Erica from brainerd stick to pickleball
coaching because you're stuck on stupid. All right, we have
some more relevant talkbacks to share with you.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Good morning, John, I am one of the aliens that
you are speaking about. No one needs to worry. We
are here to serve mankind. I should have apologized there.
Maybe not so maybe not so relevant. All right, come on,

(20:09):
get serious.

Speaker 12 (20:10):
Guys, Hey, John pat front of the show. I don't
understand why Christians would be upset about the possibility of
aliens because it would be ruined their creation.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Myth or story.

Speaker 12 (20:25):
Isn't the story that God created the heavens and Earth.
Aren't other planets and other aliens? Are alien life forms
and other planets part of that creation.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
I will no, I completely I completely agree. I haven't.
I haven't no it will, don't misunderstand it will. I
just don't completely get why individuals would be that concern,
even though I can acknowledge that, yeah, it's going to happen.

Speaker 13 (20:54):
Aliens are fine. Understand that in revelations God talks about
us in the after like ruling and reigning with him.
We're just not going to sit sort of praise him
for the rest of eternity. So if we're going to
rule and reign with him. It certainly is plausible that
it's other galaxies and races, humans or aliens? What do

(21:17):
you want to call him? That he did create. So
it's completely in line with my Christian faith of sixty years.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Further commentary from President Donald trumpa over the release of
these files. It's hot, It's very hot. Pot to John.
I don't know why all these churches are to uproar
aliens are true? Because one simple thing? Did God create everything?

(21:45):
All the heaven had earned?

Speaker 14 (21:48):
It's all.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
He just created a lot another planet. Why are they
big up bar and sold? Yeah exactly. Yeah, A lot
of you are echoing the same sentiment. Governor dim Wall's
care to chime in white hot and very dangerous. I
was inspired by the talkback where he said his favorite
one was you're fascinating to talk to. Those are some

(22:11):
of my favorites here on Twin City's News talk Neil
deGrasse Tyson got in on this, and as I mentioned before,
he's become a bit of a bit of a buzzkill
on these types of stories. He expects the upcoming release
of the government files on the UFOs to be anti
climactic and no definitive proof of alien life exists, so

(22:35):
he wrote an opinion piece in The New York Times
and argued that decades of speculation, congressional testimony, and prior
to classifications have already exposed many of the claims surrounding
the unidentified aerial phenomenon, including alleged crash to spacecraft, alien bodies,
and secret technology programs. He also criticized Hollywood's depictions of
aliens as overly humanoid. Oh yeah, well, how do you

(22:56):
explain Rocky then, dude? For those of the same project, Hillmer,
arguing that any life form evolved independently from Earth would
look radically different from ours. I disagree with him. They
did a really good job in Hollywood making the aliens
look different. They don't all look like lizards and little
green men. And Tyson ultimately argued that the fears of

(23:21):
hostile aliens may reveal more about human behavior than the
extraterrestrials themselves. That I'll give him, pointing to humanity's history
of war, oppression, and violence.

Speaker 10 (23:31):
I used to love Neil deGrasse Tyson, but he's the
perfect example of someone who has been blinded by his
own expertise. I'm an expert in a so obviously I'm
an expert in b his jumping on board the trans
ideology train, for instance. I think he's a brilliant man.
I just think he needs to stay in his land.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Yeah, he's kind of fallen into that Bill Ny the
science guy territory, because that guy's gone completely off the
deep end. Bill Night did. Not that I'm surprised at all,
because I've seen this happen over and over again, whether
it's doing the radio show and people that I've met,
where they get a little bit of fame and fandom
and it goes to to their heads. Thankfully, I haven't
seen that happen happen here, but I have seen it

(24:16):
happen a few times in in other markets. But the
same thing rings true for these individuals. They get a
little bit of celebrity and it ends up going to
their heads. Into what front of the show, Tom you
know said, yeah, you know, he ends up acting as
if he's an expert on everything.

Speaker 15 (24:36):
I don't know if you clucked that, John, but when
he said to serve mankind, that comes from the war
of the world.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Actually it comes from I hate it, but actually I
did catch it, Okay, Christer, I actually that comes from
that's the Day the day after? Right, Oh, now I'm
getting it wrong. Yeah, I think it's the Day After. Yeah,
because they because they have a manual, or it's a

(25:05):
twilight Zone episode. It's one of the two. It wasn't
War of the Worlds. Somebody's gonna correct me on this.
I don't have time to google it myself. But yeah,
what happens is the aliens arrive and they have a book,
and the book is called to Serve Mankind, and so
you think the aliens are friendly, and then you realize
that the I think it's a twilight Zone episode, and
then you realize I realize at the end it's a

(25:27):
cookbook that's got it to serve many. That was the
whole Sorry if I ruined it for anybody from that
movie from the forties, my my apologies there. So, oh,
here we go. I don't know if you quote there, Joe,
Oh no, they actually so this is Rooster again, he
corrected himself twilight Zone. So there you go. I didn't

(25:50):
get a chance to go and look at the at
the transcript.

Speaker 16 (25:54):
Hey, John, I go down these rabbit holes myself about aliens.
And one thing that I do think is that if
there are aliens here from another solar system, the only
way they could have done it is by some kind
of time travel or worm wormholes, because the distances are
too great and you can only go as fast as

(26:15):
the speed of light supposedly, so there's just no way
that they traveled here in any kind of craft.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
I really like the deep ocean theory. That's the one
that I find the most interesting, because there are there,
there are miles upon miles square miles of unexplored territory
deep within our oceans that we simply cannot reach. So

(26:45):
if you've ever seen the James Cameron film The Abyss,
you know what I am talking about.

Speaker 11 (26:50):
You know, Neil deGrasse Tyson's always been a buzzkill, you
know now with this alien stuff, but it used to
be with every movie. You point out, well, scientifically, that's
not shut up, dude, let us have our whimsy. Also,
you're talking and saying that they wouldn't look exactly like us,
and that kind of go us towards the people's Christian base.

(27:10):
Of God created people in his own image, maybe he
would create aliens in his own image.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
All right, I don't know you're you are in tim
the running for talk back of the Day. I've got
to get that as a as a drop, you know,
Neil deGrasse.

Speaker 11 (27:30):
Tyson's always been a buzz kill, you know now with
this alien stuff, but used to be with every movie.
You point out, well, scientifically, that's not what shut up, dude,
let us have our whimsy.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
That's right, there's your podcast one title. Shut up and
let us have our whimsy. Oh spectacular, Hey guys, TJ
friend of the show on North Side. I wanted to
talk about these alien files. What I don't understand is
the people that don't leave an aliens want to say

(28:01):
that evolution is correct. But if evolution is correct, why
did our planet cool down for us only to lose
our hair and then we put clothes on. That doesn't
sound like evolution.

Speaker 9 (28:12):
That sounds like we were planted here partially.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Or an invasive species that they manipulated.

Speaker 15 (28:20):
Porn and John on the aliens ruining Christianity thing. I
think the hamp is the fact that Jesus Christ is
the board's only sun, and why wouldn't other planets get
to experience the salvation through Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Why would it just be on Earth. So there you go. Well,
I think the thank you for that if that is
indeed the concern, and not that I want to wipe
out on a you know, biblical dissertation, or that I
am the individual that should ever do such a thing.
However we're talking about if we are talking about God,

(29:02):
then I'm not going to sit back and presume what
his plan is on other planets and what he did
there compared to what has happened here on Earth. So
I guess that's just my take on it. Again, I
go back to the alien prequel Prometheus. There's a moment
in that film I almost grabbed the drop and then
I decided not to. But there's a moment in that

(29:23):
film because they believe that they've landed on a planet
where they have found these what they call engineers who
ended up engineering human life okay, planning seeds here of
DNA on Earth, and that they are the individuals who
actually created mankind. And so there's a woman care the

(29:43):
story of the protagonist, and she is a believer in
Jesus Christ, and so she's challenged, you know that this
sort of up ends her belief, and she says why
who created them?

Speaker 4 (29:58):
It was like that line, good morning, John and Crew.

Speaker 17 (30:02):
I just had to chime in, calling from the Great
state of Florida here that that line comes from the
movie Soilent Green, when the aliens serve men.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Or people, I should say, as food. So that is
true in Soilent Green. But it is the Twilight Zone.

Speaker 14 (30:25):
Wife a former neighbor Mike, yep, correct, Twilight Zone and yep,
it was a cookbook.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Seeing the episode many a time.

Speaker 10 (30:35):
They show it every year, practically on New Year's Day.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Bino born in John.

Speaker 14 (30:41):
The best movie depicting all of this would be Contact
with Jody Foster. The things that we might find out
are astonishing. There are inter dimensional beings.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
Who knows. Maybe Bigfoot comes from there too. All right,
let's move over to this some stories that broke overnight.
FEDS ended up rating a high powered Democrats office and
cannabis dispensary and a corruption probe. So this was Virginia

(31:18):
Democrat State Senate leader Louise Lucas, a key figure, by
the way, in the congressional redistricting battle. The rate took
place yesterday morning was related to public corruption investigations. A
source familiar told the Daily Wire. Fox News correspondent Alex
Hogan was on Fox News with Harris Faulkner yesterday to

(31:39):
break down what had happened.

Speaker 18 (31:40):
The FBI here telling us today that these are court
authorized criminal search warrants that they are.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Issuing, and they're going into the building.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Behind me.

Speaker 18 (31:47):
This is the office here enforcemith of State Senator Louise Lucas.
You can likely see some of the FBI agents behind me.
All of the staffers inside this building were told to
come outside. I could hear them saying that they were
not all back of the building.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Throughout the last hour, we've been.

Speaker 18 (32:02):
Seeing the FBI come and go carrying boxes out of
the building. Now, just across the parking lot next to
where I am there is a cannabis dispensary. We know
that the State Senator is associated with several cannabis locations
and dispensaries, and what we're seeing there a completely different
scene carrying out SWAT teams arrived with their weapons drawn,

(32:23):
telling anyone into building to come out of the building
with their hands up. We also saw at least three
people being taken away, taken into custody. First, they were
put in handcuffs, put on the ground and then they.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Were taken away.

Speaker 18 (32:36):
So it's a slightly less large presence than we did
see earlier, but there still is a good amount of
FBI agents still here on the ground. Also, what happened
within the last hour, the Senator Louise or Lucas arrived
here herself. I was able to speak with her. I
asked her what her reaction was to all of this.
She told me she had no idea what they were

(32:56):
doing here. I asked her about the different locations that
they might be. She in response, asked me what locations
the FBI were at today. We know according to officials,
at least ten locations are being looked at today.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
So the Senator Louise Lucas ended up issuing a statement,
I'm not backing down then, I will keep fighting for
the people with Portsmouth and the Commonwealth of Virginia, saying
that the actions by the federal agents are about far
more than just one senator. They are about power and
who was allowed to use it on behalf of the people.

(33:29):
What we saw fits a clear pattern from this administration.
When challenged, they tried to intimidate and silence the voices
who stand up to them. Well, you may have broken
the law, lady, so that might end up being a problem.
So she made headlines during the election cycle last year
in Virginia when she backed Attorney General j Jones after

(33:51):
the text messages surfaced in which he had fantasized about
shooting a Republican lawmaker, posting an image that said Virginia
is for lovers, not snitches. Lucas made it clear that
her anger was directed to the people who exposed Jones,
rather than the candidate himself, who advocated for political violence. Now,

(34:15):
maybe the aliens are going to arrive just to save
us all from our from our misery, snatch up all
the brain dead in the country, as the Dailien Wires
Luke A. Rosiack reported, Lucas announced her plan to push
ahead with her extra legal redistricting efforts. Even then, she

(34:40):
also reposted a comment calling her ruthless and said she
intends to redistrict the state where Republican candidates received forty three,
forty five and forty seven percent of the vote on
Tuesday has only a single Republican congress So here's another clip.
This is the senator just months ago bragging about strip

(35:00):
millions of Virginians of their voting power. Today, we are.

Speaker 19 (35:04):
Leveling the playing field. There are not these are not
ordinary times, and Virginia will not sit on the sidelines
while it happens. We made a promise the level of
the plan field, and today we'll keep on our promise.
Our maps are ready. Virginia is ready. We said ten
to one, and we're mad it and we are proud
to deliver a map that stands up for democracy. To

(35:24):
stand up, Virginians, to stand up.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
And give us a horse.

Speaker 19 (35:27):
He started this myth of Virginia's going to finish it.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
You're fascinating to talk to.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
So she's now under FBI investigation. Multiple GOP states are
eliminating Democrat districts, and the redistricting efforts have failed. So
that's about how well things are going for this Virginia
Democrat Senates President Connor. Immigration enforcement near Minnesota schools can

(35:57):
continue according to federal court rules. This, of course, pushes
back greatly on the arguments that Democrats have made over
ICE agents and our schools, and even legislation that they
were trying to push through to try to ban ICE
agents from schools. Well, you know, it's a good thing.
It didn't go through because the federal court would have
told them that that was not legitimate. Now with this,

(36:20):
I want to share this with you and got a
question for you. At a friend of the show yesterday,
Bobby emailed me did some research. We were talking about
the rubber mail appendages. I want to rename those. By
the way, I had a little conversation with some of
my fellow iHeart colleagues yesterday. Apparently I can say the

(36:42):
official term on the air. I just don't like to
just it just it's yeah, Devon's making the scrunch face.
I'm with you on that, right, and rubber mail appendages
doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Now, considering Governor Jim
Walls in his role in supporting the efforts of the

(37:03):
individuals that are out there using these thousands of rubber
male appendages, I thought maybe we renamed them over him.
So the question I have is do we call them
Walls does or do you call them Waldoes. I almost
think you have to go with the extra Walls does
Walls does? Because Waldo I just immediately conjures up, where's Waldo?

Speaker 8 (37:28):
Right?

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Okay, So Defn's giving me the I thought I want
to drag you into this, my friend. But all right,
so I'm gonna go for the moment, I'm gonna go
with walls Does. If you feel differently and don't. I
don't want other suggestions because typically that's what happens. We're
sticking with either Waldo or walls Does. All this is

(37:50):
to say that this friend of the show ended up
finding an answer for me of where all these walls
Does came from, and unsurprisingly, it has a direct Minnesota connection.
I'll share this with you next and we'll get to
more of your thoughts from the iHeartRadio app here on
Twinsday's news Talk AM eleven thirty and one oh three
five FM.
