Speaker 1 (00:04):
Our three on Twin Cities News Talk Am eleven thirteen.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
One O three five FM.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Let's go right back to the ihearta Radio app. Their
talkbacks brought to you by Lyndall Realty.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
So, John, are you trying to tell us that we
need to spend what little hard earned money we.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Have on the subpart product. I don't think so. No,
I'm not telling you to do that at all.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I was just simply laying out that the distrust that
people have in politicians and in the media, in the government,
in politics, it extends beyond all of that, and it
goes into pop culture and every aspect of life. We're
living in an incredibly cynical society where people do not

(00:56):
want to get excited about anything in the future because
they just fear that they're going to be disappointed. The
ticket prices, they are exorbitantly high for a number of
reasons when you want to go see a concert, and
people are going to be less inclined to want to
go and spend that money, even to see an artist

(01:18):
that they love, if they don't feel like they can
be confident that it's going to be worth the dollars
that they spend. When I was growing up, I just
wanted to go see my favorite artists. I didn't think
for a second whether or not the sound was going
to be great or the production was going to be fantastic.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I just wanted to go see my favorite artist.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
And now, in a world with instant gratification, many people
look at that which used to entertain everybody in mass
and they question whether or not they want to bother
spending any time with it at all, if they're just
going to walk away disappointed because they have no faith
in trust in what they're going to be watching or
taking part in is going to be of any quality.

(01:58):
And what makes it even worse is when they've criticize
something before, even before they even have a chance to
see what it is, because people want to preemptively stave
off any feelings of disappointment whatsoever, because they feel like
life in general is disappointing them. It's incredibly cynical, but
that's the world that we live in right now, and

(02:19):
it's something that democrats go and capitalize on.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Get to more of your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Oh, John, don't worry. Sports might follow really soon because
people think a lot of games you're rigged, and sometimes
you got to wonder when you look at some of
the outcomes and the changes in a lot of the games.
So you know, sports will follow and then maybe the
politicians will wake up because now people have nothing else

(02:46):
to pay attention to but them.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So we just got off the phone about a half
hour ago with Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate and representative of Tom Tiffany.
I wanted to mention that the owner of the Wisconsin
ruining company who offered up the Trump assass assassination promotion
and was disappointed that the White House correspondence dinner attacker

(03:09):
was not successful. So not only was this individual investigated
by the FBI, and then he went and blamed MAGA
for drawing attention to what he said online. Now apparently
he's running for governor in Wisconsin. The Facebook post by
Kirk Bangstead drew national attention and, as I mentioned, visits

(03:34):
from the federal agents referencing a free beer in assassination
with the assassination of President Donald Trump. He owns the
Monocula Brewing Company. Announced his campaign after the controversial post
and said he must collect two thousand signatures by next week,
the fifteenth, to qualify for the Wisconsin ballot for governor.
So far, at nine candidates have officially declared for the

(03:54):
Democrat Party in Wisconsin and two Republicans have entered the race.
My guess is that this individual is dealing with the
FAFO aspect of being an idiot and shotgunning your view
for everybody to see online, thinking you're being funny, and
then everybody is just going to agree with you, and
then christ's foul when somebody goes and said, you know,

(04:15):
technically speaking, you can't really do that. There's laws that
may be broken here not you know, even before we
get to just how grotesque his comments were. So instead
he's trying to go and blunt the controversy by saying
he's going to go and run for governor. That's what's
happening here. This is all a redirect because he knows

(04:39):
he's probably going to be in rough shape relating to
his brewing company because he went and did what so
many other individuals believe, and that is again sharing every
little offensive thought that pops into their head. But who knows,
maybe this is what the people of Wisconsin want. As

(05:00):
a Congressman, Tom Tiffany said, they do have. The person
leading of the polls right now is an avout socialist.
California is dealing with its own issue, although the Republicans
are caating ground in the gubernatorial race there, and for
good reason. There was a debate that took place among
the candidates for governor, and Katie Porter continues to be
the gift that just keeps on giving. If you want

(05:24):
to look at the state of the Democrat Party, look
no further than this lunatic running in the governor's racing California.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
You got a couple of clips.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Moderator asked whether or not those here in the country
illegally illegal aliens. Yes, they're illegal aliens. A Senator John
Hoffman should get free healthcare. Here is what she had
to say.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Congresswoman Porter, your thoughts on the idea of funding healthcare
for undocumented immigrants statewide?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Yes, and that's, by the way, what I think Californians deserve.
As answers to these questions, Alex.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
And for critics who say that we can't afford it,
what do you listen bold move Cotton, Let's see how
it pays off for.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I will give credit where credits to.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I don't agree with her, she is a crazy person,
but at least she's willing to be genuine and authentic
for a Democrat. I wish more of them would go
and do that. Here's more of what she had to say,
especially regarding the level of honesty when it comes to
the number of illegal aliens in California.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Currently, it's the job of.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
The California governor to protect every single Californian. The sanctuary
state policy is designed to make sure that our state resources,
the taxpayer dollars, the public servants that we have are
focusing on doing their jobs, which is not cooperating with
the federal immigration authorities. These are Californians, They contribute to

(06:50):
our economy, they pay taxes, and they're one of the
only ways that our state has been growing in recent years.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
The only ways that the state of California has been
growing in recent years is because of illegal aliens. Again,
she's as big a threat to Democrats with her honesty
as she is to the peoples of California were she
to win. But Democrats and maybe and we'll see. This

(07:18):
is a really interesting experiment to see just how far
gone the Democrat Party is because they've done a very
very good job of convincing their base of supporters that
this is the reality. The illegal immigration situation is an
interesting one because this is one that typically you've had

(07:38):
a Republican excuse me, Democrats in the past that now
sound like that sounded like Republicans do now, But it's
also an issue that's crossed party.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Lines in the past.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Were many individuals, regardless of whether or not they're Democrats,
are Republicans. They want to see people held accountable for
their illegal actions. We know what's happened here in Minnesota,
and we've seen on full display what the brainwashing has
accomplished within our public school system with a number with
a number of individuals willing to take to the streets

(08:12):
to push back on lawful enforcements. So maybe she's just
simply tapping in in her level of honesty and it's
going to end up garnering her more votes than she
would have received otherwise. Here was another interesting exchange where
she tried to go and claim this is gubernatoral candidate
Katie Porter that the other candidates had been interrupting and bickering,

(08:32):
where she had been doing exactly the same thing during
the entirety of the debate, and Chad Bianco, another candidate,
called her on the carpet for it.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
I can't believe that, on a stage with thirty minutes
of interrupting and bickering and name calling.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
And shouting and.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Disrespect for everyone up here who's stepping into public service,
that anyone was to talk about my temperament.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
You were actually interrupting them too.

Speaker 7 (09:03):
I don't know why you want to act like you wann't,
Oh Cowboy, and Steve and I sat here smiling at
each other because we're just watching you all prove to
everyone why they can't vote for a Democrat.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
I wish the copy was cleaner, but if you didn't
catch it. At the middle of that, she says, Oh Cowboy, up, cupcake.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
I can't believe that, on a stage with thirty minutes
of interrupting and bickering and name calling and shouting and
disrespect for everyone up here who's stepping into public service,
that anyone wants to talk about my temperament.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
Do you were actually interrupting them too. I don't know
why you want to act like you wan't, Oh cowboy,
even I h Stephen.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
We shall watch her future with great interest, all right.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Liz Collin Alpha News joins us at eight thirty, coming up.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I want to share with you another story.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Individual running for office has been arrested. A leftist mounting
a long shot campaign against the Pennsylvania against Pennsylvania Democrat
John Fetterman arrested after he called on his senator to
assassinate President Donald Trump, according to the FBI. I will
share with you the story, and I have audio as

(10:26):
well from a recent town hall with former Transportation Secretary
in Mayor Pete Budajen. And it's a really, really good
example of just how successful that fear mongering by the
left has been in what they've been able to convince
what you would assume are intelligent adults, don't go anywhere.

(10:48):
You're listening to Twin Cities News Talk at AM eleven
thirty and one oh three five FM.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Twenty twenty six is setting up to be an interesting
year in Minnesota politics.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
John Justice has it covered every morning on Toaya City's
News Talk. Liz Colin from Alpha News she'll be joining
us just after.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Eight thirty talk Back of the day on the way
as well.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Minnesota DHS unaware of attempts to buy Medicaid program licenses
amid fraud crackdown, just more scandals relating to fraud. Democrats
also introduced a bill to prohibit cities from enforcing anti
camping laws on the homeless. Plus, Liz Colin had the
opportunity to speak with Savannah Hernandez, the Turning Point USA

(11:41):
reporter who was assaulted by the Ushrushkos who are now
facing DOJ indictments. And so we'll get into all that
coming up in about ten minutes from now. We shared
audio a moment ago from gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter in.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
California.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
Congresswoman Porter thoughts on the idea of funding healthcare for
undocumented immigrants statewide.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
Yes, And that's, by the way, what I think Californians
deserve as answers to these questions, Alex.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
And for critics who say that we can't afford it,
what do you.

Speaker 8 (12:17):
You hear stuff like from this kick in California? And
I just have to wonder, how can anybody vote for
a Democrat.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Because Democrats have done a really really good job of
fear mongering to the point of driving individuals into irrational
frenzies of fear. I don't know how else to describe it.
Let me give you an example. Let me go out
this way, so This was a recent town hall with
former Transportation Secretary and mayor Pete Boodagic. Listen to what

(12:52):
this woman said her concern was to Pete, and then
a part of his response.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
This is enough for me.

Speaker 9 (13:02):
Every day I wake up scared because a person I
love is trans, and I'm waiting for the day that
they start banging on doors and taking our trends and
our gay friends and family to concentration camps, and they
can't get our trans friends and family can't get a passport.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Let me just stop really quick. That's insane. This is
a grown woman, probably in her sixties. That is that
is that is insane that somebody would, even for a moment,

(13:42):
believe that what she described was remotely possible.

Speaker 9 (13:49):
Every day I wake up scared because a person I
love is trans, and I'm waiting for the day that
they start banging on doors and taking our trends and
our gay friends and family to concentration camps, and they
can't get our trans friends and family can't get a
passport to safely flee this country. And I know that.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
There's nothing you can do about that, but if you could,
what would it be.

Speaker 10 (14:28):
First of all, it's horrible that you have to even
think about that kind of fear for somebody you care about.
It's horrible that so many Americans live in that kind
of fear for themselves and for those they love, and
it shouldn't be that way, and it doesn't have to
be that way, because as divisive a wedge issue as

(14:49):
that has been made to be for political purposes by
politicians who figure that stepping on people's faces is the
best way to get ahead, because they definitely don't want
to be talking about why they want to cut medicaid
or why they think taxes ought to be cut for billionaires,
so they want to talk about this. But it remains

(15:10):
the case that Americans, most Americans do not believe that
somebody should be discriminated against, let alone harmed, because they
are transgender, or gay or anything else.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
That's most how irresponsible.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
What he should have said was it's unfortunate that anybody
would feel that way, because it's not the reality. There
are no concentration camps, there are no federal agents targeting
individuals because of their gender identity, or their sexuality or
anything apart from criminal behavior.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
And here you have an opportunity, when faced with some
of the most irrational fears that you will hear.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
He just reinforces it. That's right. It's what's terrible. You
feel that way, boy, that's horrible, you know.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
And it's you know, Republicans they want to cut Medicare
and Medicaid and not just it's it's it's sad that
people feel that way.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
So again, going back to this talk back.

Speaker 8 (16:24):
You hear stuff like from this tick in California, and
I just have to wonder, how can anybody vote for
a Democrat?

Speaker 9 (16:33):
Every day I wake up scared because a person I
love is trans and I'm waiting for the day that
they start banging on doors and taking our trends and
our gay friends and family to concentration camps.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
That's why people vote for Democrats, because they've been radicalized
and they've been brainwashed into thinking that's something that heinous
could actually go and happen. And if she really is
waking up every morning with that fear, I don't buy it.
But just for the sake of argument, yeah, this is

(17:08):
why you cannot expect to change how half the country
feels regarding politics, Trump, any of it. All you can
do is deal with yourself, your family, your friends, your
loved ones, and make sure that as many individuals that

(17:32):
are capable of getting out to vote when the time
comes and involved in politics that feel the same way
that you do, that this is still an amazing country
with a lot to offer individuals personal responsibility, accountability, patriotism,
that those individuals get out to vote because the rest
of the country unfortunately buys into crap like that. Liz

(17:59):
Callin from the News joins us next here on Twin City.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
All Right, I got a.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Few housekeeping items to take care of before we talk
with Liz Collin from Alphews. First off, let's go back
to the iHeartRadio app and your talkbacks this morning.

Speaker 11 (18:16):
Good morning, John. The woman talking about trans people being
put in camp concentration camps is a perfect example of
difference between conservatives and liberals. You never hear conservatives talking
about putting anyone in concentration camps, but the left is
out there saying that as soon as they take over,
they're going to re educate conservatives and put them in camps.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Oh absolutely, that's exactly what they would do they had
the opportunity to do, so I got.

Speaker 12 (18:46):
An idea helpboat.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
We started calling these alphabets, so people sci fi people.
Let me stop it here.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
It's hard to hear the talk back there, Robert, but
he says, call these indials that feel this way sci
fi people, because that's what it is. It's science fiction.
Says I hate to do that to the genre that
I absolutely enjoy consuming, but you know they're science fiction. Yeah,
I'm with you. I don't want to go that far.
I don't want to disparage sci fi either. All right,

(19:15):
before we talk with Liz, let's get to your talkback
of the day. It has brought to you by minileafanmenileaf
dot com. If you're looking for a means to relax,
relax and escape the news of the day, plenty of
products at minileaf dot com to help you with that
and to get a good night's sleep with their night

(19:38):
is the talkbacker of the day.

Speaker 13 (19:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:40):
I'll get my friends off to vote, but my family
they can fend for themselves. I'm not going to block
them or anything, but they can drive themselves and whatever
they need.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Well, okay, then thank you for sharing. Get your friends
out to vote with the family. They can just go
and handle it on their own. Thank you, Tim. You
are at the talk back of the Day, brought to
you by Minni Leaf and mini leaf dot com. Liz
Colin Aphanews dot org. Good morning, Liz. How are we
doing this morning?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Good morning Rock?

Speaker 13 (20:10):
Keep it on. What's going on with that family? Just
let them do their own thing?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
I guess all right, right, Yeah, it sounds like there's
more behind that. Maybe Tim leaves quite a few comments
on the show. Maybe he'll the one who leave another
and explain a little bit more of the difficulties he's
having with the with the immediate family. So I know
you guys have been busy over at Alpha News, and
I want to start with the fact that you had
the opportunity to talk with the Turning Point USA reporter

(20:35):
Savannah Hernandez.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
We had the DOJ indictments.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Correct me if I'm wrong that came down for a
few members of the Astruschko family that had assaulted her
at the Whipple building. But what else did you learn
in your conversation with a Turning Point USA reporter Liz?

Speaker 13 (20:53):
Yeah, I had a great conversation with her and you'll
find it on our YouTube page now. Just search for
elphanews m N to subscribe. But that's where we put
our interviews and then the article will be posted on
elphanews dot org later today. But Savannah tough, tough cookie,
no doubt about that. But we really took kind of
an in depth look at everything that transpired in Minnesota

(21:15):
with the lack of charges by Hennepin County Attorney Mary
Moriarty basically hitting this Chris Ushtrusko with a misdemeanor took
degree assault, the lowest on the list, and sort of
ignoring the actions of the others that were clearly captured
on camera. But I also spoke with Savannah about how
the media handled her story in Minnesota, which was quite

(21:35):
interesting because I actually asked her towards the end of
the interview, you know, are you gonna still continue to
do this work? This is nextly the second time she's
been assaulted out in the scene. It happened before at
a different protest in another state, But you know, are
you still gonna do this? She's a young mom, and
you know, this is what you want to be doing
with your career. And she said, you know, I wasn't
really sure before, but WCCO called me to do an

(21:59):
interview you after they had basically trashed her, and I
mean the way that they went about doing the story
was absolutely insane, like, you know, there's two sides to
this story, YadA YadA, despite the fact that the video
evidence doesn't match up to anything that they said, but
they put you know, some lunatics on the news, and
she said WCCO, their story motivated me to yes, I

(22:20):
am going to continue doing this because she's like, if
I don't, you know, if people like me don't do
this job, nobody will will hear the truth. And that's
what she said, you know, I'm just here to tell
the truth. She was out there that day, not even
interviewing people miningr own business is getting some video and
this is what transpired.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
This double standard, it makes me laugh. It gets deployed
so often by the left, Liz, I know you know this,
and yet it doesn't get called out nearly enough, this idea,
there's two sides of the story.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
And I know what I can almost guarantee what their
angle is.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Their angle is, well, you know, they were there protesting
legitimately in what they were upset about regarding ice and
their operations. And then you also had you know, yeah,
she got assaulted there, but they were there doing what
they were doing.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Legitimately. Nobody is arguing that.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Nobody is saying that the individuals in front of the
Whipple building don't have a right to be there to
peacefully assemble and protest.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
But that's the problem.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
You're supposed to be peacefully assembling, not going and assaulting
reporters who are just there capturing v roll footage, and
that double standard. It just it doesn't get nearly enough focus,
even though you and I talk about it quite often.

Speaker 13 (23:28):
Listen, Yeah, just the way that some of the stories
were written in Minnesota, with you know, things in quotes,
alleged assault, you know everything. Is a conservative reporter. She
can't just be a reporter. She has to be a
conservative reporter, of course, right, that's very important. And she
said that, you know that they've pointed to that, you know,
looks like she has kind of a smile on her

(23:48):
face in the beginning of all this, and she talked
about that. She said, actually, Lisz, I was in complete
disbelief that this was even happening. And I kind of
understand what she means you're sort of I mean, I've
been out to that building before too. You're like, is
this real? Is this even real life? She's getting sex
toys thrown in her face with some of them, you know,
so she said she did. She kind of had this
like I can't even believe this is happening look on

(24:10):
her face, and the media was like using the fact
that you know, she wasn't crying and breaking down as
the fact that she's you know, somehow responsible for this sult.
It was completely crazy. We did also talk about that
how sex toys have now become a form of protest.
She's like, you know, nothing surprises me whenever it comes
to me. But she's doing well, and yeah, it was

(24:32):
good to talk to her.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Somebody purchased stock in whichever company that they are buying
the rubber mail appendages in bulk from and is making
bank off of it. That's what I want to see
down the line later on this year. I want to
see the average just I can't believe I'm saying this
on the airlist, but I want to see the average
sale of those particular items, and then I want to

(24:53):
see just how they've spiked unless they're being given for free.
I don't know at this but I'm assuming somebody is
purchased on them right now.

Speaker 13 (25:01):
It's almost like just when you think you've seen it,
you know, see everything out a protest, this is what.
But yeah, Savanna talks a little bit about her shock
involved with all of this as well, and she also
did say that she's not she's not done with us.
I think there could be a civil suit that that's
filed as well. It actually I did take a look.
You know that the Astrushko's are raising trying attempting to

(25:21):
raise money. They've received very little. The daughter that they've
is kind of the estranged daughter who obviously got away
from her lovely family. She's raised thousands of dollars because
they're going after her legally. Now she's kind of publicly
trashed them a bit. But anyway, it does make me
feel better that, you know, they don't seem to be,

(25:41):
you know, getting much money in the wake of their
idiotic actions.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Speaking of the media and what a horrible job they
do in their bias.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I know you had posted this online. I wanted to.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
I wanted to bring it up. But there's a story
up now at alphanews Dot Org. Two injured in the
Saint Paul's shooting. Three arrested. Two men were injured. This
happened at near the River Center in Rice Park in
Saint Paul. Large crowd had gathered for a graduation event
to three suspects were arrested. Police were investigating the incident.
I haven't talked about it on the show today. I
was actually waiting to talk to you, and I know

(26:15):
this got coverage in the local media, but the way
that they framed it sort of completely ignores the relevant
details of what was actually transpiring when this whole incident occurred, correct,
Liz Collen.

Speaker 13 (26:28):
Yeah, so it's this Somali clan shooting that again is
captured on camera on basically every social media is flooded
with actual videos of the street of what's happening. You
would never know that if you look at the local
media coverage. Instead, they just treat it like, you know,
shooting in downtown Saint Paul leaves two people injured, and

(26:49):
you know it's like just a stock photo of the
Saint Paul Police department. Two men are injured, three people
in custody after shooting in downtown Saint Paul. Or there's
these aerial shots. You have, you know, no idea what
it's about. But this is I think a third graduation
shooting involving these Somali clans just within the last couple
of years. That's the story, right, But they don't want
to touch that, of course with a ten foot pull.

(27:12):
So i'd just you know, like to go on these
rants every once in a while on X and pointing
pointing that out recently.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Well, I I appreciate that, I know others do as well.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Let's let's go over to this one, also available at
Alphanus dot org. It seems to me money is being
lost and the bold and the fraudulent are continuing to
try to game the system. So you have this crackdown
on fraud in this twenty five D program, and this
has led to a licensing moratorium. They've stopped handing handing

(27:43):
out licenses. However, there's an increased demand for the licenses
because despite the moratorium, some providers are receiving unsolicited offers
to buy the existing licenses through DHS. So talk it
gets a little bit confusing here, but can you break
break this down A let's call him.

Speaker 13 (28:02):
Yeah, this is a tip we received and I did
a great job with the stories written on our homepage
there at Elphinews dot org. But again, just when you
think you've you've heard everything. So this is like a
solicitation that has been going around and we received this
from a few folks, so we know that this in
the state did acknowledge they are they are aware of this,

(28:23):
I guess. But basically they're putting their UH services people
are looking to buy the license from from people because
they are cracking down. And so this guy, specifically this
letter Ahmed a Duke deer Uh. He includes his name
and his phone number and he's basically sending out this

(28:45):
email that that we obtain that he's you know, basically
saying that if you're looking to dump your two four
five D provider license, you know people are interested, we'll
meet with you and you know, no pressure, but you
know we're looking, we're looking to obtain these these licenses. Well,

(29:07):
you can't do this, believe it or not. That it's
not that's not how this works. So Jenna did get
in touch with Ahmed. He has no idea. I mean,
he says, nope, don't yeah, I don't recall, I don't
recall sending this you know, and she asked, you know
you send the solicitation email. I don't have any businesses
at all, which is interesting because, as Jenna points out,

(29:29):
the email is being sent from a Lakeside home health
email address, and state records show that the organization is
listed under Ahmed abdulka Gear as the registered agent. And
then he goes on to tell Jenna, I don't want
to touch anything two four or five or DHSS with
a seventy five foot poll. Again, how do you even know?
You have no idea what a two four or five

(29:50):
D license is. If you didn't, if you're not responsible, right,
you know, more than likely for the for this email.
It's wild.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
So so I mean the assumption here right, just to
just to kind of simplify it. So the two four
five D services provide home and community based services for
vulnerable adults. There's a moratorium because of the high risk
for frauds. So the assumption here that individuals are still
trying to go and buy these licenses because they want
to continue to perpetuate the fraud. Right, they're saying, you

(30:17):
put a stop to them. But this is where we
can go and get the frauds and we have to
get this license. So it's again, these individuals are so
bold in conducting this fraud, which just goes and speaks
to what I believe is the fact that this has
become such commonplace that this is how emboldened people are
in actively going, even in the midst of investigations, getting

(30:39):
the means to go and continue to perpetuate this fraud.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
It's insane, Liz Well.

Speaker 13 (30:43):
And then it's always, you know, we get these responses
from DHS and you're sort of like, gosh, no wonder
this has been allowed to just you know, continue for
years and years. Their response even to this, We're thinking,
holy cow, this is crazy, right, Like go after the
person soliciting, you know, for the license, and they just
basically say that the DHS issue licenses are non transferable

(31:04):
or assignable. But there's not a specific statute or rule
that prohibits solicitation of a license, all right. So again,
you know, I think that's why a lot of this
stuff is sent our way, which we certainly appreciated, but
the estates employees they want this to stop. But there's
also like the guardrails that have been ripped off, so

(31:26):
it's allowed to continue.

Speaker 9 (31:28):
Liz.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Let's wrap up with this one, also available at alphanews
dot org.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
It's been floating around for a while.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
I was actually waiting to talk to you again this
morning to get into it a bit. But Minnesota Democrats
introduce legislation that would prohibit cities from penalizing homeless people
who are camping in public areas. The bill would allow
homeless individuals to reside in public plaza's, sidewalks, parking lots,
and more. First off, I assume that with the closing

(31:55):
weeks at hand, that this is probably not going to
go anywhere, but it does seem sort of in line
with what we've witnessed coming out of the city of Minneapolis.
It's very much in the similar vein of allowing homeless
individuals who own automobiles access to free parking so that
they can live safely out of out of their cars.

(32:15):
And this would keep any sort of enforcement away from
holding people accountable that are living on the streets and
encampments or I assume cars as well.

Speaker 13 (32:25):
Yeah, the bill was introduced by DFL representatively Thinky counterpart
to a bill authored by Senator Liz Bolden in the Senate.
But yeah, you're right. I don't think, thankfully, this is
going anywhere. I think there's twelve days left the session,
or the eighteenth, I believe is the date they're wrapping
things up, So they've kind of said this isn't going anywhere.

(32:47):
But who knows what's to come in the years ahead.
But the bill specifically would allow homeless populations to sleep, rest,
protect their property, eat, drink, and perform other life sustaining
activities on blic land if no adequate indoor alternative is available.
I don't think there's much of an appetite for this one. Again, thankfully,

(33:09):
this this session isn't isn't.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
I mean, what what constitutes already a living A living life?
You know what, life sustaining?

Speaker 10 (33:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:20):
What constitutes that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I mean is doing the show a life sustaining activity
I can provide for my family and I breathe air
in this room? I suppose that would?

Speaker 13 (33:29):
It is for a lot of us, John, So we
hope you continue. It gives us, It gives us life,
So I think, yeah, I mean, should you want to
do your show from wherever and when whenever? In public land?
Feel free?

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Well, Liz Colin, I have a smattering of talkbacks that
have rolled in regarding rubber male appendages. So I'm going
to say goodbye to you.

Speaker 13 (33:49):
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Okay, you're welcome for that one. Everybody, head on over
to alphanews dot org. Got anything else you'd like to
tease before I cut you loose this morning, Liz Colin.

Speaker 13 (34:00):
You know, stay tuned. We are streaming a lot of
things happening at the Capitol from day to day in
the final days of session, and Luke Sprinkle providing great coverage.
Actually another another story up today about recent proposal from
Elliott Engle Engen on on the floor. That's getting some
attention as well. So yes, all final countdown over and

(34:23):
over in St. Paul, stay tuned.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
I'm sure that one will be in the Stackford tomorrow.
Is Colin outthanews dot org.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Thanks?

Speaker 1 (34:28):
This is always great talking with you, and hopefully I'll
talk to you again real soon.

Speaker 13 (34:33):
Done good, have a great day, Thanks John.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
All right, let's go back to the iHeartRadio app here
on Twin City's news Talk.

Speaker 14 (34:39):
You throw a rubber mail appendage on the w MBAs floor,
it's sexual assault. You throw a rubber male appendage female
reporters face, it's just protesting.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Yep, that's pretty much how that That's pretty much how
that works.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Hey, John, I would like to take it one stone
further with those the purchase of those.

Speaker 13 (35:02):
Male appendages okay, Michelle, that have.

Speaker 9 (35:05):
Been thrown at by the anti ICE protesters.

Speaker 13 (35:11):
Who did they buy them from?

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Who owns the company?

Speaker 13 (35:15):
And did large Democrat donations go back to the party
or to a candidate follow the money?

Speaker 1 (35:25):
With the number that I've seen of these items just
in the videos of the protest taking place, I mean
I would think there might be a run on these items.
I mean, I don't know how often. I know very
little about them. I'm just saying that up front, right
just in case somebody's curious. So I am speaking from
a place of ignorance regarding rubber mail appendages. That being said,

(35:49):
just deploying common sense, like you wonder, okay, like how
often do they need to be replaced? How often are
people purchasing them? And at what point? I mean, because
these have when you've seen the sheer volume of of
how many of these items are being used in these protests,
I mean you have to wonder, I mean, this is
the stock, is it running low?

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Are they going to are they going to be running out.

Speaker 12 (36:12):
I wonder if somebody of these leftist protesters have those
rubber male of hendages. You know, some of them are
women who say I don't need a man, who needs
a man? To what coincidence? I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
That is a point on the talk back. All right,
let's wrap up on this. We'll get the drink of
tomorrow tomorrow. So this is how it started, how it's going.
This was a candidate, okay, a Pennsylvania man running for
Senate in twenty twenty eight. He branded himself is always nice,

(36:54):
a wholesome guy. Where suspenders put this commentary up online
and regarding his running for office, if.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
This is enough for me, and by all measures, this
is more than what so many have. Why is one
hundred million dollars not enough for somebody else? Why do
they need billions? Why do they keep hoarding it all
for themselves? Aren't they happy? While many people spend their
time thinking screw you, I got mine, I'm sitting here

(37:22):
thinking I got mine. Why the hell doesn't everyone else
have theirs?

Speaker 13 (37:26):
Will?

Speaker 3 (37:26):
I'm tired of waiting. I'm going to get you back
your share. I'm gonna hunt it down, and I'm going
to bring it back to you like a bloodhound fetches
a pheasant, ILL lay it at your feet because where
I'm from hasn't changed.

Speaker 13 (37:42):
In my youth.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
While going through my struggle, I had the great honor
of being adopted by a black family, to be loved
by a black mother, and to grow in friendship with
a man I love like a brother. I love you,
Joe CuAu Choicy, Aunt Rosie, and Miss Linda. I do
this for you, for my birth family, for Ashley, and
for Ian, For my parents, I do this for you,

(38:05):
for my godson and my god grand babies. I do
this for you, for Johnny, Erika and Arianna. I do
this for you and for every single family in Pennsylvania
who is struggling.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Who has been left behind.

Speaker 13 (38:17):
I am coming back for you.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
I do this for you. That is a Raymond Chandler.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
He was arrested on Friday after law enforcement said that
he left several disturbing calls threatening the president. Also accused
of leaving a message for a senator describing how he
and his daughter would have slit their throats by a
mob of people upset with their wealth.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
They will pull you out of your house.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
They will slit your throat, and they will slit your
daughter's throat, and they will slit everyone's throat. He said
in a message that you know, sir, that is the future.
It's not the future I want. It's not the future.
I'm advocating for it.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
But wealth concentration has gotten so bad in this country.
He previously left messages advocating for armed resistance to Ice,
alongside a willingness to go to war and personally kill.
According to the FBI, A lawyer appointed to represent Chandler
declined to a comment. The hearing is set later on

(39:19):
this week on whether to keep a Chandler in federal custody,
and that will all simply come down to whether or
not he ends up with a social a social justice adjudicator,
a judge who will go and set him free. This
is the state of the Democrat Party, and this is

(39:39):
why I will continue to hammer the point that you
cannot worry about what half the country feels regarding you
in politics right now, because there's no changing them, because
of just how bad the rhetoric has gotten on the left.
Embrace your own beliefs, speak them proudly, be confident in

(40:02):
what you believe and encourage others around you to continue
to get involved and get those individuals out to vote
when the time comes. Thank you so much for hanging
out with the show this morning. I can't believe we're
at the time. Well, we're talking with another Wisconsin gubernatorial
candidate to Andy Maski on tomorrow's show. And if you
missed any portion of today's broadcast, you can check out

(40:24):
the podcast that will be available shortly up on the
iHeart Radio. A'm thank you to Devin this morning. We'll
see him again tomorrow and I hope you have a
fantastic rest of your day. I'll talk to you guys
just after six am.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Ah.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Thanks everybody. You guys are the best.

Speaker 9 (40:41):
My happiness lives in an h o ay run by
