Speaker 1 (00:00):
Station guaranteed Human Twin Cities for youse Talk. Hey, I'm
eleven thirty on FM one O three point five.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Our three on Twin Cities News talking before we get
to our guest coming up in just a moment, Senate
candidate former submariner Tom Wyler running for US Senate. His
website Tom Wyler excuse me, Tom Wyler twenty twenty six
w E I L E E R Tom Wyler twenty

(00:30):
twenty six dot com. We'll talk to him in just
a moment. Before we do, I do want to get
to a few of your comments from the iHeartRadio app
on talkbacks from the first two hours of the show,
and of course if you missed any portion of the
show so far, be sure to go and listen to
the podcast download that On the iHeart Radio app. Talking
quite a bit about paid family medical lead, there was

(00:51):
a peace and American experiment from John Feelin asking the
question if there's going to be a payroll tax hike
needed later this year to pay for the fact that
the number of individuals that have come up with excuses
to take the paid family medical leave has increased dramatically.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Got a comment here from a friend of the show,
Morney and John. Great show, Connie.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Why did more businesses in Minnesota fight paid family medical leave?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I don't really understand the business community here. Thanks, I
have a great day. They did.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
There were businesses that were fighting back. As a matter
of fact, a group of business leaders, prominent business leaders
came out I believe it was last year, and they
were requesting a pause in the implementation of the program
because of all of the problems that we've been highlighting
on the show. The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce coming out
this week saying that you already had sixty three hundred

(01:50):
of their businesses.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
That provided this.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Eighty percent of those sixty sixty three hundred businesses provided
some form of pay family medical leave. People that are
taking this time off, but they're going on vacation and
they're going to music festivals. The business leaders did speak out,
but the Democrats didn't care. They ignored them, rammed it
through anyway. At the end of last hour, we were

(02:16):
talking about how Mayor Jacob Fry in Minneapolis vetoed the
extension giving a moratorium on evictions. We had city council
member Soren Stevenson, who looked just like the alternative artist
Moby very upset at the mayor for what he did.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Everyone in Minneapolis agrees our top priority right now is
to support our neighbors who were targeted and harassed by ice.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
He's talking about people that were here illegally in committed crimes.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
By the way, coming from someone who used to be
a landlord.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
When people fall behind on.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Their rent, they rarely ever get cop backed up.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
It happens, but it's rare.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
How can MOBI condemn profits when that's what the state
takes pride in taxing.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Hey buddy, everyone makes a profit.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
Everyone cares about their profit because they got to use
their profits to pay their bills. What an idiot?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Hey, why ain't those people just go get their own
businesses or get their own rental property and give it
all the way free to people they want to and
trying to force us to pay for all to give
somebody else money.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, because it's easier that way, because they're lazy.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
So uh, I get it. The renters their neighbors technically,
although they are just renting there. They don't actually have
set they haven't set roots down. But aren't they landlords
also their neighbors?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Of course they are.

Speaker 8 (03:57):
Somebody needs to sell MOBI. Klausoepper that if a landlord
has somebody living in his apartment's not paying red, he's
still not making a profit. He's losing more that if
he puts the person out and has the ft of party.

(04:17):
Simple dat.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
All right, let's turn our attention over to our next guest.
FBI alert warns Iran may I drone attack on American soil.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Hey, John, just to preemptively get ahead of this conversation
about these drone attacks in California, Like, oh well, probably
all the rest of the country would feel about drone
attacks in Minneapolis.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh well, no mean, man, I got family there. As
a matter of fact, almost my entire family is there.
All right, We're going to get to our guest one
more quick clip. Here's President Donald Trump yesterday talking about
the possibility of these attacks.

Speaker 6 (04:58):
Here's that way say try to hit us.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
Bat Have you been briefed about how many Iran sleeper
felt there could be inside us?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Right now?

Speaker 9 (05:08):
I have been, and a lot of people came in
through Biden with a stupid open border. But we know
where most of them are. We've got all of them.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I think.

Speaker 9 (05:18):
If it doesn't they came in through the open border
policies of sleepy Joe Biden, one of the worst, the
worst president in the history of our country. And we've
got a rise on all of them. But the wars
self is being prosecuted at a level that nobody seved before.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
It's pretty amazing to us.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Joining us on the show now to share his thoughts
on Operation Epic Hearing, and of course his run for Senate.
A friend of the show, Tom Wiler, Good morning, Tom,
Thank you so much for joining the show this morning.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
How are we doing, Good morning, John.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Doing well.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Thank you for having me on. Listen. Let's go back
to last week.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
In one of the major headlines since Operation Epic Fury
started was the fact that one of our US submarines
ended up sinking one of the flagship vessels for the
Iranian Navy. And given year background as a former submariner,
I certainly wanted to hear your thoughts. And I don't
remember exactly what the number was, but I mean it

(06:20):
had been quite a long time, if my memory serves
me correctly based on the reporting, since we've actually had
combat via one of our submarines, is that correct?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
That is correct?

Speaker 10 (06:31):
It was actually back to World War Two? Was the
last time the United States submarine Yeah, fired a torpedo
and sunk a ship and anger, and that just sort
of highlights the level of warfare that submarines, submarine warfare is.
It's basically an all or nothing type warfare. And yeah,
it was a big day last week for the submarine

(06:52):
force in general. When it was actually the USS Charlotte,
I was the department head and navigator an operations officer
on the USS Charlot actually back in two thousand and
seven to nine time frame, So yeah, that was a
boat I was on, and they were the ones that.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Took that shot.

Speaker 10 (07:08):
So I'm proud of all submariners to demonstrate, you know,
the expertise in their profession. And at the same light,
you know, that's one hundred and twenty Iranian sailors died
due to that engagement, and so that's a lot too,
a lot to handle, I'm sure for the skipper of
the USS Charlotte and the entire crew, but but godspeed
to them. Thank you for doing their job and defending

(07:31):
all of us.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Well, and that's it's kind of what I wanted to
ask you. I mean, can you I imagine that you
could envision what that must have been like for the
for the crew on that submarine in that in that moment,
I mean, you have sort of two, you know, two
juxtaposing things happening. One, you know, you are, you know,

(07:53):
protecting American interests by taking action as you said, that
hadn't been taken since World War Two. But there's also,
you know, a toll that goes along along with that.
And I'm wondering if maybe you could provide a little
bit of perspective of what that must have been like
for the crew on board the submarine.

Speaker 10 (08:08):
Tom, Yes, very very intense to say that. To say
the least, it's it's one of those things you've trained
for for thousands of hours literally as the officers and
the crew of a submmarine too, to perform that type
of engagement. And and so I think when they received
the order, which I'm not sure on the build up

(08:29):
or you know, where they were originally located in the world,
but when they received that order, I'm sure it's surreal
initially and then and then I think your training takes over.
I think they you know, they executed the mission. Well,
they were in a great fired position. You can tell
by the redicals on the periscope that they were, you know,
probably within two thousand yards, within one narutic a mile
right off the beam. So you know, they look to

(08:50):
be in the position that we've trained to be in
for for you know, thousands of hours for every watch team,
and then and then yeah, that training takes over, and
then once the shots over, that I'm sure is when
a lot of the a lot of the deep thoughts
I guess on what just occurred and your actions. But
you know, when you get an order in the military,

(09:12):
they're called orders for a reason, and you execute that
order unless it's an unjust order. And in this case,
we're at war with Iran, it's a just order, and
they effectively did their job on behalf ball Americans.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
You look at some of the just a quick sidebar here.
I'm a big fan of submarine movies in general.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
You know, I'm.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Curious with a film like Crimson Tide or Hunter for
Red October. I assume you've seen these, you know, how
many of these films actually do an accurate portrayal of
what life is like on a on a submarine.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Do you have any thoughts on that? Tom?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Again, talking with Tom Wyler running for US Senate well,
not a.

Speaker 10 (09:47):
Lot of them are overall, you know, paint a very
aggurate picture, but they all have unique, unique elements that
that do resonate as truthful from a submariner's perspective. The
one I like to always tell people that Tom Periscope
the most accurate, but it's a funny movie, but you know,
and sincerity. They all demonstrate some of the close quarters

(10:08):
and really the camaraderie of the crew of the two
things that I that I think those movies.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Try to portray.

Speaker 10 (10:14):
But it's just difficult to fully explain the experience of
being underwater in a negatively boyd steal too with one
hundred and twenty to one hundred and thirty the greatest
of your best friends for six months at a time.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
The website is Tom Wyler twenty twenty six. Tom's running
for US Senate. Your overall thoughts given your military background
on Operation Epic Fury, since it's inception, I just I'm
just curious to get to get your view on the
operation thus far.

Speaker 10 (10:44):
Well, it's a phenomenal operation from the military perspective, and
it does demonstrate how we want to build and maintain
our military with overwhelming force and war is one of
those areas where you never want.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
A fair fight.

Speaker 10 (10:58):
So our overwhelming force verse is on display right now.
And I do think it was the right decision by
President Trump at the right time and for the right
reasons to go ahead and hopefully eliminate this Iranian regime.
They've been killing thousands of Americans for forty seven years.
They clearly have ignored international request and orders to not

(11:21):
build a nuclear weapon, and they were attempting to get
there once again. And bottom line, the Iranian regime was
at their weakest and weakest period in decades. And I
think it was the right decision and I full of
support the President of making that decision, and the military
is executing a very well put together plan again.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Talking with Tom Wyler the website, Tom Wyler twenty twenty
six running for US, and let's talk a bit about
about your campaign. This is a competitive race on bull sides,
Republican in and Democrat. How do you differentiate yourself from
the other Republican candidates and how has the campaign been going?

Speaker 10 (12:01):
Other campaign's been going very well. I different myself from
both Republicans and the other Democrats running fundamentally on the
principle that I'm here to solve problems. And I think
that's the one thing Minnesotas can unite on right now
is we have plenty of problems and we need someone
to shake it up.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
I guess when we go to Washington, d C. To
represent them as their senator.

Speaker 10 (12:22):
And I'm trying to get to the United States Senate,
you know, not to rename post offices, but to tackle
the big problems like our national debt, the divisiveness in
this country, and building back up the American the American
dream which is foundational and every American generation has that

(12:44):
American dream and grain in them. And right now, unfortunately,
with a lot of the things going on in our culture,
that that American dream, that American culture is getting looked
at through a negative lens sometimes. So I want to
bring real common sense problems solving, acumen and leadership to
the United States Senate and serve all Minnesotans and all Americans.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Tom Wyler the website Tom Weiler twenty twenty six dot com.
What is it you need right now from those who
wish to support your campaign for Senate?

Speaker 10 (13:15):
Well, first off, I just want to make sure Minnesotans
know to keep their head up.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
You know, we.

Speaker 10 (13:21):
Definitely have been through a lot. A lot of that
has been self inflicted, unfortunately by the foreheaded monster that
is the Democratic DFL in Minnesota right now. But keep
their heads up, and I really need your help to
go to my website and really give me your inputs.
I have to do list basically on my website, which
is basically your to do list is my to do list.

(13:43):
I want to know what you want me to focus on,
and I also explain my focus areas, and then any
and all contributions are greatly necessary. The both Peggy Flanagan
and Andrew Craig are really building up their war chest
for this race, so any and all contra mus we'll
go a long ways to helping our team chart a

(14:03):
new course from Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
As always, Tom Wyler, thank you for your service and
thank you for taking some time out this morning. I
encourage everybody to learn more about Tom. You can go
to his website, Tom Wiler in twenty twenty six is
w E. I l E R great talking with you
this morning, Tom. I'll look forward to the next time
you and I get a chance to chat.

Speaker 10 (14:23):
Thank you very much, John, and thank you for all
that you do for the great city in Minnesota, and
let's chart a new course for Minnesota together.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Coming up next on the show Alpha News, marble filled mansion,
once owned by Feeding our Future fraudster hits the market.
I'll tell you how much it's going for if you're
in the market for a new home and you have
a couple of million dollars to spare. Also, we're going
to hop into the wayback machine. I went and found
a clip of this fraudster prior to this individual getting

(14:55):
arrested and convicted. And what's astonishing is to hear the
so words of this individual in the midst of their
committing fraud, and how they framed the difficulty that they
were under, and the greatness of which Amy Bach, the
ring leader of Feeding Our Fraud, the greatness that she

(15:15):
brought to the individuals that were now able to go
and reap the benefits from this program. Again, this is
in the middle of when they were doing fraud. It's
infuriating audio, but you don't want to miss it. I'll
share it with you next here on Twinesday's News Talk
AM eleven thirty and one three five FM.

Speaker 11 (15:30):
Human Can you imagine being the guy who gets to
fire that missile, to sink that ship, right, being the
first guy to do that.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
In seventy years. Freaking awesome.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Good morning, John, great show, Best submarine movie of all
time dust Boat and in the German version, have a
great day.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, I go hunt for Red October.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
That's just.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Top ten easy. You remove Star Wars out of the mix.
Just take all those movies out. We're not gonna count them.
Throws off a top ten list for me, and I
definitely put a hunt for Red October.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Close second would be Crimson Tide.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Dash Boot's okay, it's a little on the slow side.
What is the Matthew McConaughey one you five, one seven
nine is out in that one? That was a good
one too. Your talk back of the day is on
the way. It might be submarine themed. We just got
off the line with Tom Wiler running first senate former
a submariner. We'll get into this marble filled mansion once

(16:47):
on by feeding our future fraudster hits the market.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
For two point one million dollars.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
We're also gonna hop into the way back machine and
hear from the fraudster herself before getting convicted, arrested and
convicted of the Feeding our Future fraud, So we'll do
that coming up in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Your talk back of the.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Day again on the Way, brought to you by Mini
Leaf five dollars off right now the Nightgummies at the
website at Mini Leaf, we had a lot of talkbacks
I didn't get a chance to get to today when
we're working through a lot of material on the show
regarding the bill to claim the a errant right to
life for wild rice, and I made the comment that

(17:32):
I hope during the committee hearing the debate over this,
somebody brought up the comparison to abortion, because, as I
mentioned a few times this morning, the same individuals that
supported some of the most extreme abortion laws in the
country are now attempting to go and grant a right
to life for wild rice because Native Americans believe that

(17:53):
it is a living being and a relative. But I also,
I still want to say this too, and it kind
of feeds into the story with the feeding our Future
fraud going on, you know, while I want to see
it established and I want it on record individuals who
supported abortion and yet at the same time, under the

(18:15):
same rationale that pro life advocates are against abortion they're
trying to go and claim a right to life for
wild rice of all things. It needs to be said.
You know this, and I know this, but it still
needs to be said. The let doesn't care. They thumb
their nose at this type of rational commentary. They're clearly

(18:40):
willing to lie to further their agenda. This was made
abundantly clear in multiple comments from Governor Tim Walls just
this week, Representative Sidney Jordan, lying on every single point
that they put forward to push back on this federal
government tax credit that one can receive here in Minnesota
for I own any money to school that they can

(19:01):
get back at the end of the year. The truth
of the matter is this hypocrisy. They just don't care
for them. The politics is their religion, so therefore they
can establish whatever rules that they want to establish in
order to further their to further their cause. So I imagine
if you presented a demo, a Democrat with that argument

(19:23):
of you're in support of extreme abortion or just abortion
in general. You have pro life advocates out there saying
that that is a living person inside of a woman's
body that should be protected, and you're against that. You
believe in a woman's right to choose. But yet you're

(19:44):
again pushing a bill that's trying to give the right
to live to wild rice.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
They don't care. There's gonna laugh at you.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Because they know the reason why they're doing it, and
they have no shame. I still would rather be on
this side the political spectrum, being able to look at
my family, my wife and my sons and myself in
the mirror, knowing that I'm not a hypocrite and I'm
not a liar. But I just wanted to point that
out because it's the same mentality of these fraudsters. They

(20:16):
don't care. So before I bring you in the details
of the story next, let me leave you and we'll
take a quick break and we'll get to the details
of this Feeding our Future fraudster's mansion that's now on
the market.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
But the woman's name was Hannah mer Keegan.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Okay, she got more than seven million dollars from the
Feeding our Future program intended to feed children during the pandemic.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
And I will give you the.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Details as to what she claimed that she was doing
while she was collecting that seven million of your dollars.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
But this was prior to her.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Indictment and arrest and conviction speaking to a group of individuals.
Listen to she was in the throes of committing fraud,
stealing millions of dollars, and yet listen to the way
that she presented herself to a group of individuals after
being introduced to this organization that was involved in Feeding

(21:24):
our Future, prior to this program being found fraudulent. And
then I'll comment on the other side of the break
here on Twin City's News Talk. This is Hannah Markkeegan
again now in jail after her arrest and conviction for
stealing seven million dollars.

Speaker 12 (21:41):
Thank you so much for every tea you know, Amy
is for everybody I seen. I've been in this country
for twenty five years.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Again, she's talking about Amy Bach, the ringleader who was
convicted in her role of perpetuating all the fraud one
hundred and fifty plus million dollars worth in Feeding our Future.
This is who she's lavishing praise upon.

Speaker 12 (22:06):
I run my business for almost eleven years and we've
been pushed around so many times. We're the only immigrants
did not get paid and work for three months and
work our back off, and we are a very strong immigrants.
We work so hard, and we appreciate one American citizen,

(22:29):
a true American citizen. I will call her that, you know,
and we will fight. We will fight hard. We will
be there with you for all the time and with God.
You know, Yes, thank you.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Yeah, you should do with that, guy said, good feed

And now here is your talkback of the day.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
Good morning, job Justice, thank you for what you do.
This is Jonathan on Ramsey. I am a sub mariner,
not a submariner, never from Alover in my life, a submarriger.
And absolutely he was absolutely right on down. Periscope is
the most accurate submarine movie ever. And everybody that I

(24:18):
had served with so we talked, wanted to be on
that submarine that took out that shit.

Speaker 9 (24:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:22):
Bet, let's make it a great day.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Thank you so much. Adam.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
You are the talk back of the day, brought to
you by Minni Leaf and mini leaf dot Com. All right,
before we get into the feeding our future fraud story.
Speaking of fraud, I like to give myself credit where
credit is due. I did predict at the beginning of
or the end of last year, in the beginning of
this year that one of the biggest stories that would
emerge throughout the year would be that the fraud that
we've experienced wherein we lost billions upon billions of dollars

(24:48):
under the watch of Governor Tim Walls, is not isolated
to Minnesota, and this fraud was going to be exposed
across the country and now we're seeing this actually happening.
A CBS News investigation in Los Angeles County, California, revealed
rampant hospice fraud. As if it couldn't get any more
gross in terms, I mean, all the fraud is gross,

(25:11):
but hospice fraud. And this would be despite California efforts
to curb the issue. The investigation found that over seven
hundred hospices exhibiting signs of fraud, including geographic clustering, low
patient counts, and excessive billing.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
The state has revoked licenses.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
So far for two hundred and eighty hospices, but the
problem persists. Some companies operating under the radar are engaging
in fraudulent practices. Three years ago, California state auditors sounded
the alarm that Los Angeles County had seen a fifteen
one hundred percent increase in hospice company since twenty ten.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
How is it even possible?

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Again, is it a similar situation there that what we
dealt with. You had individuals, perhaps at the state level,
that see this massive increase, they go and tell their
super and it gets ignored because they simply don't want
to deal with it, or they consider this like I
believe the DFL does here in Minnesota, is just merely
a redistribution of well through fraud. This is more than

(26:13):
six times the national average relative to its elderly population.
Auditors estimated that La County hospices overbuild medicare by one
hundred and five million in a single year.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
The report called out notable.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Red flags multiple hospices and one building as I mentioned,
geographic clustering, high rates of terminally ill pagents later discharged alive,
excessive billing staff shared across multiple companies. The state says
it proceeded to investigate and revoke the licenses of those
two hundred and eighty hospices, but since then the problem

(26:47):
has continued to fester. CBS News examined the business and
financial records of every hospice currently operating in La County,
applying the same indicators identified by the state. Indications of
fraud have not stopped. In fact, they've grown. The CBS
News analysis reveals that over seven hundred of the roughly
eighteen thousand hospices in La County trigger multiple red flags

(27:09):
for fraud as defined by the state.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
That's just.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
It's crazy to me that we're in twenty twenty six
now and we're only now discovering this one's been going
on for more than likely decades. In the meantime, a
luxury home in Hennipon County, once owned by a defendant
and defeeding our future fraud scheme, now back on the market.
If you've got a cool two point one million, it

(27:39):
offers a glimpse into where some of the millions in
solar taxpayer dollars went. And people have asked several times
as we've talked about this on the show, like are
we going to recoup this money? How are you going
to recoup it? It's gone, The fraudsters don't have it anymore.
I mean, in this case, this Hannah Markgan, convicted fraudster.

(28:02):
You know, she had this home, but now it's gone
to somebody else. She used money that she gained through
fraud with feeding our future, and now it's defaulted back
to a different owner and they're going to put it
up for sale and they'll sell it and we don't
get a dimeback. Federal prosecutors say the homes owner feeding

(28:24):
Our Future again convicted froster Hannah Markgan obtained more than
seven million from the Federal Nutrition child Nutrition program, intended
to feed children during the pandemic. Property records show that
mark Keegan purchased the Madna home in twenty twenty one
for one million, two hundred and sixty thousand dollars. However,
records show no mortgage associated with the property at the

(28:45):
time of the purchase, suggesting the home may have been
bought with cash during the same period. She later testified
that she was living very large and the American dream
life reedy. Mark Keegan later forfeited the home as part

(29:05):
of her plea agreement. Property records show the home was
sold in twenty twenty three to the current owners. The property,
located on more than two acres and exclusive Tuckborough Farms community,
is described in real estate listings at the five bedroom,
seven bathroom luxury home, featuring high end finishes throughout.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
I saw the pictures. It's a beautiful home.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
She was indeed living the good life, but as I
played in the audio, she was the victim. This is
Hannah mark Egan in the middle of conducting her fraud,
speaking to a group of individuals who were also conducting fraud,
keeping praise upon amy Bach, the ringleader of the fraud.

(29:48):
But in this she makes it sound like she's been
the victim all along with how hard she works and
how hard she fights while she was conducting her fraudulent ways.

Speaker 12 (30:00):
Thank you so much for everything, you know, Amy is
for everybody I seen. I've been in this country for
twenty five years. I ran my business for almost eleven years,
and we've been pushed around so many times. We're the
only immigrants did not get paid and work for three

(30:22):
months and work our back off, and we are very
strong immigrants. We work so hard, and we appreciate one
American citizen, a true American citizen.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
I will call her that, you know.

Speaker 12 (30:38):
And we will fight. We will fight hard. We will
be there with you for all the time and with God.

Speaker 11 (30:46):
You know.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Yes, it almost.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Sounds like that could have been a speech that was
after the conviction started to roll out. She was playing
the role of the victim at a time when she's
conducting the fraud and then heaping praise on amy.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Bach, as if to say.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Amy Bach was able to correct the error of the
ways of the individuals that wronged me by giving me
this opportunity to commit all of this fraud. Inside of
the home in which this individual was living eighteen foot ceilings,
a statement chandelier, floor to ceiling, marble and gold doors outside.

(31:28):
The property sits on more than two acres and included
a heated in ground pool. Those elaborate marble finishes and
gold doors are not mentioned in the properties twenty twenty
one listing. A Twin Cities buyer who previously inquired about
the home told alph News that a realtor said the
luxury upgrades were added while Mayr Keegan lived there. Oh,

(31:51):
wasn't enough to have this beautiful, lavish home. She had
to go to add these wild, gaudy amenities.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Apparently with their mental gymnasic.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
This isn't fraud of them, it's just creative means of reparations.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah, that's what it sounded like in that clip from Hannah.
According to Mark Keagan's guilty plea in federal court, she
enrolled her company Brava Cafe in the federal child Nutrition
Nutrition program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future between
September of twenty twenty and follow twenty one. Prosecutors say

(32:27):
the company claimed to have served more than two million
meals and obtained approximately seven point one million in federal
program funds. By the way, amy Bach is an evil individual.
There's no doubt about that, because in so many of
these circumstances, what it sounds like is that here you
have this individual who apparently immigrated to the country legally

(32:51):
established their own business in this Prova cafe, may have
been struggling.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
These businesses are hard to stay open.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Profit margins, not to mention the layers of bureaucracy the
Democrats have put in to their anti business beliefs here
in Minnesota, and yet here comes amy Bach selling this.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Idea.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Hey, you know what, we had this feeding our future
program and your Brava cafe can be one of the
places where you can say that we're, you know, giving
out these meals to kids and there's very little oversight
in any of this. You just have to claim that
you've fed so many kids in the state. Will the
pedal federal government through COVID of relief will pay you
for it. I mean, everybody's to blame in this, but

(33:41):
make no mistake, amy Bach was feeding on these individuals
and they're being held accountable rightfully so for agreeing in
to these fraudulent actions. In her application, Mary Keegan claimed
the restaurant would serve meals to up to four thousand
children per day at its Minneapolis location. However, cobsecutors said
the claim was obviously false. Instead, authority say Mark Keegan

(34:03):
submitted fraudulent reimbursement claims supported by fake paperwork and inflated
meal counts.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
You know, but remember, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Going back to a story that we covered earlier in
the show, I'm sure that as the Minneapolis City Council
leadership goes to compile the amount of money that they
believe Operation Metro Surge cost the City of Minneapolis, it's
all on the up and up right, they would never
go and put forward bogus data.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
I mean, listen, it's bogus to begin with. It was
all self inflicted.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
No entity should get a dime in terms of money
to be recouped because of Operation Metro Surge. Any costs
that were incurred is all one hundred percent on the
individuals that went and protested extended the time of Operation
Metro Surge kept them from doing their jobs fearmongered individuals
to not go to work, the businesses that voluntarily closed down,

(34:59):
and the rules whose parents voluntarily kept their kids from that.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
None of that had to happen.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Mark Keegan getting back and Feeding Our Future also paid
kickbacks to the Feeding our Future in exchange for the
nonprofit sponsorship of her company Alten, who was previously reported
that Feeding our Future mastermind Amy Box's trial, Mark Keegan,
an East African immigrant, told the jury that Bach was
viewed as a near mythical figure among those benefiting the scheme,
and that was certainly apparent in that clip that I

(35:28):
just shared with you.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Amy Bach was a god.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Mark Keegan testified she gave us the American dream life.
We were able to own houses, good cars, We were
living very large. Mark Keegan recalled the celebration in twenty
twenty one where a group of East African women saying
and praised Bach for her role in securing continued funding
for the program.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Gee.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
I wonder if that's actually where I pulled that from
a moment ago. I think it might have been. The
event was held in response to Bo's legal battle and
the ultimate victory over the Minnesota Department of Education, which
attempted to cut funding over her suspected fraud.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yeah, that's what that was.

Speaker 12 (36:10):
Thank you so much for every team you know, Amy
is for everybody I've seen. I've been in this country
for twenty five years. I run my business for almost
eleven years, and she told me.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
She figured out a way where I didn't really have
to do much work at all anymore. I just had
to lie on a bunch of paperwork, makeups, some fake documents,
and I can live a lavish lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
And now I am.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Look at my beautiful home and those gold doors in
that ing ground pool. Mahrre Keegn testified that Back instructed
her and others to call MDE and accused the Department
of racism when it tried to stop payments. The pressure
campaign apparently succeeded, as MDE ultimately back down, allowing the
funds to keep flowing. Mark Keegan admitted under oath that

(36:56):
the racism accusations were indeed.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Honey, please money, please, Thank you for hanging out on
