Speaker 1 (00:00):
Came in for last month. We are number one. We
(00:03):
just grabbed every key. Demograh, Yeah, super duper. That's nice.
Might a go Nito Gay? Yes, that is good news.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
It is the eleventh day of June twenty twenty six.
It's a Thursday morning. Good morning, everybody, cue the sad music.
A Thursday without Tommy Olson. It's like Christmas without Santa.
It's like pornography without boobies.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
But here we are.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
We're gonna make it through because Ben Leber will be
here speaking of mobies and cast up thousands locks to
get to on a great Thursday morning out there.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
So you know what, let's get her started, shall we.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
You know, we got football talk as mini camp continues
for the Vikings. We got a big game lost, a
big scandal inside the NBA. But we also have Brian
Reagan with some comedy on a lovely Thursday morning. So
come on in, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Power
Trip Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I am glad you are here.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Oh we have the basketball playoffs and the hockey playoffs happening.
I always love whenever there's a best of seven series
because then I get to hear my favorite sports reporter question,
would you consider this a must win game?
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:10):
They always feel like they have to say yes, Yeah,
we want to win. It very important, you know, got
our uniforms anyway, might as well try.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
But it's not.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Always the right answer.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Man, it's a math question. I wish I would answer.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
That question, honestly. It's a best of seven. You're down
one game to nothing. Would you consider this a must
win game?
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Na?
Speaker 4 (01:41):
No, we can lose tonight. We can lose tomorrow night too.
We don't want to. But that wasn't your question. You
asked if it was a must win game, And if
you'd ever taken a rudimentary math class, you'd already know
the magic numbers three. When you're down, I'm three, then
you must win them or you're out.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I do what's it? Kurt Bill's I want the pair ship,
operate the pump lips, I'm the tires, oh wire.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Going mad?
Speaker 1 (02:36):
This suh in the text this he so test my oh.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
So my heart? Can't you right?
Speaker 2 (02:46):
In?
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Nine Thursday, June eleventh, six is the Power Triple and
Joe to see I'm Corey Koe. That's Grit Dogie. There's
Metzas Paul Embert, there's zach Alberson's come. He said, no
Tommy day to today. You know the big boy job
or what is he doing? I think he has training
(03:08):
for his new bit, training for big Boy job.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
I think so.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, he has to do that once a month with
somebody has to be in a train.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Yeah, in order.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
To keep the job. How good he is that out there? Like,
I don't know if you have to come back next week.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
You should be teaching us.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Not everybody volunteers to be the cabos.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
Well played, you always need a cabooz.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, big old lie.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
I stayed up and watched every second of that god
dang basketball game. Geez yes, was that the dumbest basketball
I've ever seen out of the San Antonio Spurs.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
Charles Barkley said, it's the worst basketball that's ever been
played in the civil in civilizations, it was.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
You don't need to you know, I'm texting back and
forth with my dad because my dad whatever, you know,
the whole Spurs. But we've talked about it a thousand times.
We're we're financially and emotionally tied to the Spurs. You know,
many times we were just like what are they doing?
Like it didn't It wasn't even about missed shots, because
you're gonna miss shots, and great basketball play can still
be Wow, great set up, great pick and roll. Ah
(04:09):
missed that shot? This was just what are they doing?
There was a stretch where they jacked up a three
with about twenty seconds on the shot lock, which you
shouldn't do when you have a giant lead. Offensive rebound
immediate three brick, Another offensive rebound, immediate three brick. I'm
going guys, you're up like fifteen points. The clock is
(04:35):
your friend. What are you doing? I just in my
head it was Jeremy Colhane from Snel, What is the
goal here? What are we doing? Over and over and
over again. After the game, twenty nine point comeback, gigantic collapse,
the Knicks win one O seven to one oh six.
Through up three games to one, somebody asked Wemby, like
(04:56):
what happened? Explain what happened? And he goes, I don't
know if I can. And one of the words that
he used was greediness, and that is that is all
you need to know. They're jacking up threes when they're
up fifteen to twenty points. Yeah, and they were ice cold.
They made no attempt to change it, to try to
make shots in the lane or get layups or draw foul.
(05:18):
It was just, hey, should we keep jacket up? Threes
were like two for ninety this half, and they just
kept doing it. It was so dumb. When they were
up like eight, I was like, Dad, they deserve to lose.
They're playing like idiots. They deserve to lose this game.
I don't know if we're going to but they deserve
to lose. And they did on the ogn andob tipping
with one point two seconds to go. Taylor Swift, Jerry Seinfeld,
(05:43):
Fat Joe, somehow, the ham Sisters, they're all there. Yeah,
and they didn't want to Larry David losing his mind.
Adam Sandler, Yeah, they're all there.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Good for them. Finally something good happened for those folks. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Well, so what a nuts game if you had if
you had no emotional tie to that game, though, that
was pure drama, right, pures like at Athletic Entertainment for
not the first half because that was just a blowout.
The second half was NonStop drama. You know.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
It's interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I was I just finished the show and I was
leaving and I turned on the fan and they were.
I was listening to two dudes watching the game, so
not the play by play of the game on the fan,
but two guys watching the.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Game doing the show yeah yeah, and watching the game.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
They were losing their minds, and I was like, wow,
I that must be cool. So I went I stayed
down at the hotel last night. So I went into
the hotel room and turned on the end of the
game and just watched the celebration and the look on
everybody's faces was like, what.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
The hell did somebody?
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah me, was that a movie?
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Did that really happen?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
One billion percent historic? Right? I mean, twenty nine point
comeback in a regular season game is epic. Let alone,
to do it in the NBA Finals on your home
court when you're when all these stories have been written
about ten fifty one hundred thousand dollars for a ticket,
and how disappointed they all were for Game three, all
of them that stayed last night got their money's worth.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, was it Victor's hard fouled that changed everything? Because
that's what the guy's on the radio guys said, No.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
There's no there's no one play because it was just
NonStop stupidity. There's just no one play you can pin
it on, and all of them made mistakes. Like darn
Fox is supposed to be the settling veteran leader. He
I don't know what he was doing, even with like
twelve seconds ago. The Spurs are up one and he
(07:34):
gets that long like outlet pass slash slash tip and
he tries to lay it in and ogn and nobody
blocks it. If you just pull back, run three or
four seconds off the clock and get fouled. Now you're
up one going to the line with seven seconds ago,
eight seconds ago, but instead you try to go for
(07:54):
the layup and it gets blocked, and now the Knicks
have the ball and it's game on. It's like just
I don't know. They didn't understand risk versus reward. They
just kept shooting threes. I know that's like the sixth
time I've said that, but still I can't stop saying it. Well,
they can't stop shooting threes. I just couldn't believe it.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I'm question because they've been playing basketball longer than was
it just their youth that showed last night? Is because
everybody talks about how young they are. Were they just
making dumb kid mistakes?
Speaker 1 (08:22):
I would argue it's one of the most fascinating things
about team sports is let's say one guy, let's say
one of the young guys, like whatever, Castle just starts going,
you know, stupid mode and just starts making ridiculously childish, dumb,
twenty one year old mistakes. That doesn't mean the rest
of the team does right right, but it was collectively
(08:45):
they all it literally was all of them. Everybody on
the court was like, you know, everything we did in
the first half, which was almost perfect, let's do the
exact opposite. Let's go full blown Costanza in half number two.
All five of them, didn't matter who the combination was.
Didn't understand to run the clock down with a huge lead,
(09:05):
didn't understand to try to draw fouls, didn't understand to
try to draw or get into the lane and see
if you can get two instead of just three. They
just settled. It was lazy, dumb, isoball terrible. Even even
my dad was like, does this coach not understand that
you got to call the time out and tell these
guys like, what are you? What are we all? What
(09:27):
are we doing here? Just the goal? So I'm I'm
crapping on it from the spur side of it, going
like what are we doing? This is chaos if you
are a Knicks fan, they did everything right right they
they were super aggressive and they were all efforts. Man.
That was I can't imagine how much fun that would
have been if you were a Knicks fan.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
Yeah, just last play was unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
You know. Brunt and I think did the right thing
with jacking up that three with about five seconds to go,
four or five seconds to go, because he was double
teamed and that was going to be really tough to
get a that and try to get a good shot.
And when he did, og Ananobi was the one who
passed the ball in yep, and nobody defended him after
he passed the ball in and it helped him right
to the rim.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
And it helped on the play that Victor is out
guarding Brunson because then he's not there under the back bat,
he will get the rebounder batted away and knock it
out of bounds. And then point second point two or
three seconds left as a post a one point, nobody.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Guarding, he get bound pass, Rumson gets it fires up
at three.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
Shot No good, but let's gone.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Let's gone.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
Let's gone.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
It's one point two Pervader, Necks take the lead, helps
little seven, Little Sex pla.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Mare at the garden. They can't pull lave it.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
It's over.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
The greatest comeback in NBA playoff history.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
The next pull off.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
But to come back and lead at three games to.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
One, now one went away from up title.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
It's the way to come back to get that in one.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah, it's over yet.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Oh yeah, so here this is a this is an
interesting broadcasting question, Chris. You're a part of the Vikings broadcasts.
Have you guys have to make these kinds of calls
all the time.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Well, sometimes you got to piss on a trash can.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Yeah, so the model.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Sometimes you piss in a trash can. But so Og
tips it in with one point two to go, Well
the Spurs will have a shot. They have one point
too down one. Yeah, if you go back and watch
that play, the final play for the Spurs, they had
Castle open under the basket. It was just a terrible
inbound pass and a laser inbound pass and Castle gets
(11:36):
a layup or an allue dunk to win it at
the buzzer. The only reason I'm saying that is so
it doesn't work because the pass is bad, and then
it gets kind of tipped in. Castle flails and tries
to get off the shot and it just doesn't go
in a really really good inbound pass, and that's a
heartbreaker for New York, right, Yeah, yeah, that changes everything. Yeah,
(11:56):
because it didn't go in, and it's pandemonium and every
celebrity that has ever lived in New York is hugging
Timothy shallow May. They didn't show the replay. They didn't
go back and show how open Castle was because it
was because it was just minute after minute after minute
of let's talk to og Andnobi and let's show Spike
(12:17):
Lee hugging everybody's It was just you had to like,
let that hold, wait, let that moment breathe. I'm like,
can you show that replay again? Because Castle was wide open?
I don't remember how long I it was, like you
got they didn't want to run it.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
You can run that while you're getting the on court
interview totally. You certainly correct why you wouldn't do that.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
They showed og Anobi's tip in about ten thousand times,
didn't show how actually kind of perfectly that last play
was for San Antonio.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Was there any kind of controversy regarding it anything that
my Okay, I said, did the NBA call in and
say don't show that because there might have been something
we need to look at.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
I didn't think there was a following. It was just
a really bad inbound throw.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Okay, weird man, Now that's a I think it's a
terrible decision.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Wow, all of that lower third or bottom right hands
on the screen, you know, all of that.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Could have been a castle buzzer beater to break everybody's heart. Almost. Yeah,
Knicks go up three games to one. Whatever, Yeah whatever, Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
There you go. Sports come through for you again. That's
cool or against you? I guess.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Yeah, man, sports are the best. Yeah, I love sports.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
It's it's not over because I truly think the Spurs
are slightly better than the Knicks, and I know they're
down three to one, so that's borderline proposterous statement. But
if Wenby hits the game winner in Game two at
the buzzer, and if they don't blow a twenty nine
point lead, they're up three to one, so it's not
like the Knicks are significantly better. In fact, I would
(13:50):
argue they're either either neck and neck or the Spurs
are still slightly better. They're just the Knicks are smarter. Yeah,
for Vets, they're smarter. Yeah. Man. So I you know,
the Spurs are five and a half point favorites on Saturday.
I mean, it's unbelievably unlikely that they can come back
and do this. They still have the best player on
(14:11):
the planet. It's not over yet that you're a ninety five.
So bad, it's so bad.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
It's so bad. You gotta be said, Gore, You're the
Vet on the team. Just take the ball and hold on.
You panic, let them follow you so much.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Panic so much twelve minutes, you know, up like nine,
with like five minutes to go.
Speaker 6 (14:30):
You know, in panic, I do not because I've gut
her helmet from Gutterhelmet mn dot com. Never clean your
gutters again, gutterhelmet mn dot com.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Tommy was cheering for the Spurs too, so he's really
glad he's not here today. Yes, but Labor will be here. Yeah,
Benjamin Labor could be here at like six thirty or so.
This is the Power Trimony Show on the fan.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Interruptions. Hi hereb we are welcome back, Patrick Morning.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Trim sports Man.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yeah, there's sports and there's hockey tonight.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Right yeah, man, sure, Game five Mini camp continues today, Yes, sir,
last day. Today is the day you're gonna go.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
I might go to the I don't know, man, I'm tired.
I bet, I don't know. It's and it's one hundred
thousand degrees out there.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
And it's practice.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
It's gonna be seventy seventy eight seventy I think.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
It's the seventy. Yeah, chance of showers today and that's.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Perfect then, yeah, perfect.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Maybe I'm going down, dance around, get down, turn my
frown upside down?
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Yeah, man, No eighties in the next week forecast.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Talk well up? Yeah, okay, we're into Luke next Friday. Right,
oh yeah, keep forgetting about that. We're only a week
away from going to our friends and du Luth.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
That's right, looking forward to it's gonna be phone.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Why are we going up there again?
Speaker 3 (16:13):
As a Grandma's Grandma's marathon Grandma's marathon next week?
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Sweet to West Fargo men are being hailed as heroes
Corey go On after helping save a woman trapped in
a mud puddle who.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Had been missing Stained.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Show.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
That was a joke for about I don't know zero
point of our audience. What I got?
Speaker 3 (16:37):
It didn't go with a puddle of mud reference.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
Yeah, no, they're terrible.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Have a great song a couple, Oh god, be buried under.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
A sucking mud, but.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Terrible.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
She's been missing dot dot dot dot dot dot for
three days.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Yikes.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
In an interview with Bringing Me the News, Adam sand
Beck says he was exploring a new trail with his
buddy Mike graveling and a side by side.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
H and a second, Hey, and a second hay and
a second. This is a story about somebody being trapped
in the mud. Did you just say somebody's name was
sand something in gravel something gravel?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
This is a bit well, so.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Mud and sand and gravel, that's right. Okay, yeah dot
com Yeah so so Joe dirt saves the day or
what happens here?
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yeah, Paul, you.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Do one.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Say something about soil?
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Um?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Yeah, Sally soil is there to rescue it.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Maybe that was her name.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Saturday afternoon, they came across a minivan in a mud
hole on a heavily wooded trail. Sandbeck says they pulled closer.
Notice next to the vehicle. There was a body submerged
in a puddle with only a woman's face visible.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Come on, this is the truth.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
It was. It was like something out of a movie.
Sand Beck says.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Oh. The woman was able to utter the words help me,
Are you kidding me? The two men my God.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Who rescued her from the puddle and called emergency cruise
paramedics and police were able to arrive on the scene
within twenty minutes. The woman wasn't able to tell them
in exactly how long she'd been stuck, but she said
she had seen the sun go down and up a
couple of times.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Jeez, we've seen those videos.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirms Katherine Wassner, sixty eight,
of Alexandria, was located alive west of Bacchus, Minnesota, about
two hours and more than one hundred miles away from
her home. The Minnesota Kiro Bureau of Incriminal Investigation has
issued an endangered missing personal alert for her, who was
(18:54):
last seen on June third, near the intersection of State
Highway sixty four at State Highway eighty seven in the
southern person a portion of Hubbard County I'm sorry, there's
not an alarm going off, and it's distracting me from
my reading. At the time she went missing, Wassner was
reportedly driving a black twenty Fifteenchrysler Town and Country minivan
to already say she was transported to Essentia Health in
(19:15):
Brainer due to our medical conditions. I felt like God
put us together in that situation to save Catherine. I
truly feel the hand of God is the reason why
we were able to save her. He wanted to share
the story to highlight the important work rural ambulance, cruise
and law enforcements playing situations like this, added, he was
able to talk with the lady on the phone on
Sunday and she was out of the hospital and recovering
(19:36):
with her family.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
I can't believe all that was visible was her face.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
That's also so the chances that she's found is astronomical. Right,
that sounds like it's completely rained. But how about how
about the absolute prison of being stuck and just staring
at the sun for two days and you know you're dead. Yeah,
You're like it's over, I'm gonna die here. I can't move.
If you know, if this mud raises or rises anymore,
(20:04):
I'm gonna just drown to death, drown in mud. So
I'm just gonna starve to death staring into the sun. Right,
But I can't even imagine those twenty four to seventy
two hours waiting to be.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Found, because you're no worse way.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
You definitely give up. You're not waiting to be found,
You're waiting to die. Waiting to die.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, I wonder if the human spirit never allows you
to give up.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
It's incredible because, uh well, I mean, how do you
what mud? Is this a Scooby Doo cartoon?
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Right?
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Is it quicksand?
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Right?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
How is there a mud puddle that deep?
Speaker 1 (20:37):
And what are the chances that Fred sand and Scooby
Dirty come rolling through with John Gravel and find you?
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Correct?
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Rent row Row is correct?
Speaker 3 (20:47):
I don't know, man, Incredible, incredible, That is incredible. The
whole thing's incredible.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Man. You know, like the end of Titanic when Kate
Winsley can barely barely blow the whistle to make noise,
right because she's so cold.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Very well done at the end of a very long film,
to make it so hard for her to be rescued.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Right, But you know what I'm saying, like, what if
this gal? Can you imagine that the guys are walking
by and they don't notice her, because why will you
look in a mud puddle? Right? Depending on how far
off this path she is or whatever, what if she
doesn't have the strength to even muster noise and you
watch two guys walk past you, but you can't talk
(21:25):
because you're, you know, seventy two hours without eating in
your for sure ready to die?
Speaker 6 (21:30):
And uh?
Speaker 2 (21:31):
And how about the idea that if they don't come
wandering up, let's say a month from now, somebody's on
that trail and they find that van.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
She's covered.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Now, who knows how long it is before they ever
find her body?
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah? Great point, Yeah, very good point. All right, Well
the hell does that happen? I don't know that, gal?
Speaker 3 (21:50):
I just added, I got to know how you sink
that deeply into the.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Mud, don't know. She hadn't explained that part yet, apparently
not recovering. Oh man, look, I don't know why anybody
doesn't listen to me? Go ahead, Why does anybody go outside? Yeah,
it's a good point. What are the chances today that
I get buried up to my face in mud? Less
than one way less back like that.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
Yeah, right, you keep talking like that.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
I mean, not with the intention of somebody else doing
it on purpose, you know what I'm saying, Like just
me walking around accidentally falling into a little mud pedal
as almost zero almost zero.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
It's weird because you know, over the years, you see,
you know, every now and against, somebody burying daddy or
somebody or somebody up.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
To their their head in the sand.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
And I've always said to myself, You're gonna have to
kill me to get me to let you do that.
I can't imagine not being able to move my hands
or arms and get it because.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
There's I just yeah, that sounds awful. What a crazy story.
I'm believable.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah, so they go.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Bigger Miracle that or the New York Knicks.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
I mean, that's a real good question.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
I mean, what was better for Anthony shall.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what Tim's brother
was doing last night, Tony shallow mane that Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Yeah, Well that's a very loud fire alarm out there
and it's still going. That's okay. They're testing her.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Normally they do the silent one in the studio though,
right with the light goes off, but just the lady
talking on whatever's in the hallway. But for whatever reason,
it's doing both.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
Yeah, I think she's talking in the hallway. It's just
that loud it is, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah, okay, normally, but normally we can't even hear through
the door, but this is clearly through the door.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Do you want to hear the audio of the lady talking?
Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yeah, I have sweet looking nipples.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Wow? Wait is this the lady.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Trying to get us to go outside the fire alarm lady?
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Yeah, I think we all thought you meant the gallon the.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Oh my god, they found her.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
What an ego on that one? Faster after that?
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Gild me one reason to save you, ma'am.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
Yeah, thanks, Tracy Chapman.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
Oh all right, well you can lay there and die.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Well this isn't quite right because the story said just
your face was exposed.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
That's why you got to get me out of it.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Oh man, sore you go?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Wow, what a story happened? Right?
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Did you say your age in the story?
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Sixty eight?
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Man? Don't go walking by yourself, don't go anywhere by yourself,
and don't go outside. You know, the bad things that
can happen outside. It's the list is long, yeah, very long. Yeah,
I'll list all of the things that can go wrong
if you go outside when we come back and do
(24:45):

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Best historic comeback at the Garden last night, twenty nine
point comeback for the New York Knicks. They win one
o seven to one oh six over the Spurs and
take a three to one series lead. San Antonio shot
twenty percent in the second half. Twenty wow, that was
after shooting Like, I don't know what it was, but
(25:50):
it must have been sixty five ish seventy percent in
the first step, Like it was an astronomical number. Yeah, yeah,
so I don't somebody can look it up, but it
it was truly a tale of two halves. And also
that game last night was the all time cliche for
coaches when they say, all right, I know we're down
twenty nine, but let's see if we can get it
(26:11):
to like fifteen or sixteen by the end of the third,
right and the middle of the fourth. Let's see we
can cut it to seven. It's truly not let's just
worry about the next point. And that's what they did.
They come all the way back from twenty nine down
and win. Larry David and Seinfelder both there. What a
reunion that was. Yeah, John McEnroe, Taylor Swift, who knew
(26:35):
t Swift was a basketball fan, she was sitting in
front row.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
Yeah, man, yeah, it was.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
It's one of those things too, where like if they
just win Game three, and I know that changes everything,
but if that was how they won the championship, the
city's in huge trouble. The party rages for weeks. That
would have been one of the most epic ways to
ever win a championship. And now they gotta you know,
(27:03):
they pack their bags and go to San Antonio for
Game five on Saturday. But man, it's gonna take. I know,
as you said, and I know they're five and a
half point favorites. It's gonna take everything san Antonio has
from an emotional standpoint, from the letdown standpoint, to come
back and try and win that game on Saturday. But man,
that's a that's a series and organization changing.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Win for the Knicks last night.
Speaker 6 (27:29):
M because that shot is gonna be replayed over and
over again forever, forever. And the Darren Fox thing, I mean,
the beauty of the Internet is it's also the worst
part of the Internet is everybody has an opinion.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
There are people like Darren Fox.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
Is on the take, who makes that dumb of a play,
Like that play is so dumb you have to you
said it court. He's there their emotional He's gotta be
the oldest guy on the team, except for some of
the guys that are seing that bet.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
He's the veteran on the floor.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
You have to just hold onto the ball and get fouled.
They teach that in like fifth grade. And he tries
to go up for a meaningless amount of meaningless put
a dumb layup and it changes the whole course.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
The World Cup starts today, the first game at two o'clock.
The US plays tomorrow night at eight o'clock. So if
you're into soccer, I mean this is as good as
it gets. Right, this is a freaking World Cup. So
two o'clock start today in Mexico and South Africa.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
First time ever, forty eight teams.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
You're gonna watch it, right, hogs?
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Every game?
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah, I bought the super package.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Oh yeah, what channel?
Speaker 3 (28:32):
Oh no, and I'm also going to watch soccer.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Oh oh, the US plays at sofa in La.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Oh that's right, the game, the gaming with Mexico and
South Africa in Mexico City, I think.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
So is it just spread across North America?
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (28:49):
It is?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
How many different cities New.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
York and I believe going to New York or Boston?
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Maybe both? Maybe we have Boston and New York both posting.
So dumb question, but when they do the World Cup
every what is it four years? Is it every four? Yeah?
Do most host countries do this where it's so many
cities because you have to have so many stadiums because
there's so many games? Is that the idea? Yeah? But
still a lot of traveling. This is the largest is
(29:15):
hawk mentioned?
Speaker 7 (29:16):
I think this is the largest World Cup ever fieldwise,
So there's eleven sites in the United States, three in
Mexico and then two in Canada.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
I think that's unusual. What are the what are the
cities in the US? Do you know the.
Speaker 7 (29:30):
Atlanta, Boston, Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Hecker, Houston, Kansas City.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
There's they're doing a couple of shows down in Pine City.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
Yeah, welch, they're at hawks Old High School.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
They had to cancel that.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Oh why because the people of Saratoga got pissed. Too
many fighting, Yeah, a lot, too many fighting.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Too much fighting.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Excuse me?
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Oh yeah, they're in Newport. Yeah, that's where.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
The finals are actually, California is Newport, Englewood, Miami, East Rutherford,
New Jersey, of course, the home of the Jets and Giants.
Philadelphia and Santa Clara and Seattle are the US sites.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
Andy's obviously here to see.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
Soccer England. Right's got to be a squad.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
I would guess, so, I guess, I mean, I would guess.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
So.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
I don't think South End by the Sea.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, I don't think he's here to watch Morocco. Yeah
for Senegal. Oh yeah, maybe Corocco.
Speaker 6 (30:34):
Yeah, maybe he's here to see San Juan.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
I think maybe he's here to see some ta words.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
I mean, if he's staying at your house, definitely.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Isn't this time? He will in the in the football season.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Oh yeah. The Stanley Cup Final game five tonight in Carolina,
seven o'clock. That series is tied two games apiece. Carolina
is a big favorite. I shouldn't a big favorite. Minus
one fifty five on DraftKings. That's a pretty sizable favorite.
But how about you to get Most hockey games are
over under five and a half, but this series has
been so nuts at The over under is six and
a half tonight for goals, so nuts.
Speaker 7 (31:07):
The over is hitting almost like the first period yep
in each game. So should be fun. One can't wait
listen to it on the fan?
Speaker 1 (31:15):
Why not? Oh kay?
Speaker 4 (31:17):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (31:17):
I mean, come on, what are you doing? What am
I doing?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:21):
I'm looking at figured?
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Yeah, what do you think?
Speaker 5 (31:25):
He's the cat art.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Minnesota Twins won six to four over the Tigers, boxing
with home run number twenty. Royce Lewis hit home run
number four. They are now thirty one and thirty eight.
They host Saint Louis this weekend, but one final game
today against Detroit at twelve ten. How about I know
this season's you know whatever, it's just floundering. Buxton has
(31:48):
twenty home runs. It's June eleven.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
He's killing it.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
He's killing some baseballs.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
You'll kill it for probably the Yankees here. And he
doesn't want to get traded. He hasn't no trade right.
And he says he wants to retire a Twain.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
That's what he said.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Yeah, sorry, yeah, but it's up to him.
Speaker 5 (32:08):
Miles Garrett said the same thing.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
A couple of the other guys said they wanted to
retire Saints.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Wow. They they don't have to play for them. No,
I'm good.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
I don't want to be called a good demoted down
to more fun than call it a career.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
Yeah, it's more fun.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
I'd rather meet the guy from Field to dreams. Yeah,
I'd rather have a catch.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
I want to have a couple of pops with Derek
shar and get her done.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Call it to day, retire my number.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
And hand GPT or whatever the hell that things.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
That stadium sweet, it's the best.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yeah, although there's a just a traffic snarl there that
makes you want to just fight, finger your eyeballs.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Gad you said eyeballs. I wasn't sure where that sends there.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Sometimes sometimes I sit there try to get on the
fifty two or whatever it is, and I think kind
of wish there was a grassy knoll here. O, my god.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (33:07):
Yeah he is, he's fingering his eyeballs.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
There's only a couple of really solid paths out of
chs Field. But yeah, if you know, if you get
stuck on one of those bridges trying to get out of there,
or yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
The loop around to get back on the ninety four. Yeah, yeah,
or north.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
I'm thirty, No human knows which one they want to
be on.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
No, you are correct, No, that's how I feel about
Saint Paul in general. Yeah. Right, Like when I'm in
downtown Minneapolis, I have a pretty good sense of where north, south, east,
and west is. When I'm in Saint Paul, I'm like,
where the hell am I going? Not in terms of direction,
but just like, where is this road even turning? Right? A?
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Matthews?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yeah, wasn't it Jesse Venture that got ripped for saying
it was basically a bunch of like drunken irishmen that
put Saint Paul together back in the day. He's not wrong.
The streets make no sense, Like yeah, when there's like
seven eight different streets all converging into one.
Speaker 5 (34:03):
Yeah, that's a weird one.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
But I love it.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
I do, like Saint Paul man. I got to tell you,
those old buildings are sweet. That one they turned the
old Pioneer Place Pioneer Pioneer Press building into an apartment building,
and I'm like.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
Wow, that'd be cool. It looks super old and haunted.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah, you like haunted stuff kind of.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Kind of do. I'm haunted by seeing your wife naked
on your wedding day.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Oh you good way? Oh okay, I don't believe in ghosts.
She's gonna have to prove it. Haunt me, please, I
don't believe it. Gus. I'd like to see and like
to see her.
Speaker 5 (34:42):
Try you could see hawk naked.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
I'd like to see you play concerts sometime.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
You make me want to smoke.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I'd like to see you play a concert.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
I know you wouldn't shout out to kel Let's say,
let's say for whatever reason, like that was the ridiculously
embarrassing and it ruined the whole old wedding like because
she was so embarrassed, because let's see, if she was
on the toilet instead of just like getting ready to
have kept that one inside, you know, like it could
have derailed the whole thing. But everybody was.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Like, what if I am walking through my doorway and
I walk in, I stop, and then Sauce comes in
through the other doorway and he sees his wife running
naked into the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
And there, I am, great point.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
I never thought about this before.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
And you're like, no, I just know. And Sauce assumes
that she's running naked out of your room.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
I'd have been like, you know, my pants would be off.
Think about it for once a second, because of us
is going to be the most naked.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
Honestly, that that is like Dahmer showing up to the
side of a dead body. And though I swear to
God it wasn't me, I know that there.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Are some bites out of that body. But I'm telling you, I.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Just walked in. I just got here, Chris goes, I
wasn't even thinking about it. Come on, man, I know, yeah, busted, Yeah,
it's a great point. Never thought of that either.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
I can't believe I've never thought of it. That derails everything.
Speaker 6 (36:08):
Oh for sure, Oh for sure. Yeah yeah, but I
was probably playing slop. You probably were Christmas trying. I
crushed that weekend, and slap.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Machine must be nice, Yeah, it must be nice. Speaking
of printing money, the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes reworked their deal,
adding two years. Beat bop, boop boop. Fixed. They just
threw a whole bunch of money at him, now five
hundred and four million dollars total. They added again two years,
(36:39):
but beginning in twenty twenty seven, the deal will average
sixty four million a year, which is a new NFL record.
So he whatever, he's just I think this is like
the third time they've reworked his deal.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Wellok, for good, good, I get a lot of money
stuff and they boop.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
They nailed it. I don't know, man, that's pretty good.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
A draft catick of drives exists.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
I don't know where I lives. I gotta live Games City.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
That's not bad, Okay, it's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
Guys, are your wife naked?
Speaker 1 (37:18):
I mean, please answer again.
Speaker 7 (37:23):
It's just you're doing a depression. See your wife's naked?
One shame on? Yeah, fool me again. You need help?
Speaker 1 (37:36):
That what race cars?
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Race cars, booby like boobies, Papa.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Did we go off here?
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:50):
What just happened? We're still broadcasting?
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Oh man, I got another store for you guys. This
is a local one too. I guess we can do it. No,
it was, it's all it's in the local news story,
but it's not locally.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
But this dude was.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
I'll tell you what really matters because it involves kidnapping,
olive garden and Satanic rituals.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
What you heard me? Three of my favorite things. One
episode of Full House.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
So if Saus had walked in, kel had been running naked,
I'd been standing there with my hands up. I would
have been like, we were having a satany riche at
Olive Garden and we end up here.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Don't know what happened? Yeah, that's essentially.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
What happened in New Hampshire.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Interesting a combo kidnapping, olive garden and Satanic rituals. Right,
sounds like a pretty solid weekend.
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Sounds like I saw a Sam documentary.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
Sounds like fun just come through our whole house shook
ke Oh that guy that's you?
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Yeah? Yeah, that is me?
Speaker 6 (38:52):
That wasn't one of my better moments, one of my
favorite Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Amazing hot.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
I played that for Tommy since he's not here.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Yeah, poor tom all right, Ben liber will join in
about ten minutes. He'll be walking in at some point
during what really matters, we'll do that after this. If
you went to bed, the Knicks come all the way
back from twenty nine down and win by one to
take a three to one series lead. If you football
Sports Center in the next I think twenty four to
(39:24):
forty eight years, you're gonna see highlights of the next
game because they just they for obvious reasons. Again, it
was historic, but they just are eating it up in
New York. Unbelievable comeback.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
How long has it been since something like this happened?
And one of the two.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Biggest IGAs, the Dodgers, have been winning a lot. Yeah,
but LA in the Knicks, LA and New York hasn't
really been able to sellar especially a football and stuff.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
I don't know, weird. I guess LA is a bad.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
Example New York York for sure, thank you.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
I'm gonna shut up now.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
The Giants have been bad for a while, the Jets
have sucked forever. The hockey teams don't win. No, yeah, Yankees,
the Yankees haven't been the Yankees of old, right, even
though they obviously hit a lot of home runs. They
still have.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
Aaron Judge, but yeah, and he's hurt for a while.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
And again the Nets have sucked forever, and the Knicks
even one since what nineteen seventy three or something like that. Yes, sir,
they really did. They did. That really matters.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
Next, may be welcome some great shows that Treasure Island

Choop Dog on September fifth. At the complete details on
all of our upcoming shows on the concert page a

Speaker 1 (40:52):
City for you? Not sure?
Speaker 3 (40:55):
That's right?
Speaker 1 (40:56):
No, I don't Maybe maybe they have that.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
I don't know what if. I I think they have
pyramids in Mexico City like Aztec pyramids.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I think pretty sure they were built in the eighteen hundred.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
That could have been. I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
I don't know that stuff, along with the ones India
in Egypt and again Leeber's going to Egypt next year.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
That's what he said.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Yeah, lucky bastard, that's what he says.
Speaker 5 (41:18):
Good for him.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Hey, this is J. J.
Speaker 5 (41:20):
McCarthy of the Minnesota Vikings. I'm now back to the
Power Trip on k f A.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Not here. That was a recording. What really matters is
this scores and stats around the world of sports. Crystal
change your life with something else that's way more interesting,
and it's probably by Ovo Lacy and Lens, doctor Mark Lovan,
doctor David White and the best dudes ever. Change your
life at Ovo. Go get lasik Ok. I'll be right back, well,
(41:48):
not now, whatever, whatever. How many times are we going
to bring it up? Should we bring it up? Fifteen times?
Because people keep tuning in? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Man, I mean I think it's pretty big deal.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
I don't know, it's a huge deal. Twenty nine point comeback.
The Knicks win one oh seven to one oh six
over the San Antonio Spurs. They go up three games
to one in the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.
It's got to be one of the biggest comebacks in
playoff history period. Right, twenty nine points. It's gotta be
somebody looked that up. What's the biggest playoff comeback of
all time.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Fifteen years?
Speaker 1 (42:22):
I'm gonna say thirty It can't be much more than this,
thirty one or thirty two at the most, thirty one
thirty one. Who was that? Do you know?
Speaker 7 (42:34):
That was the LA Clippers in Game two the twenty
nine team Western Conference first Round.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
I guess the Golden State Warriors.
Speaker 5 (42:43):
Damn they were down ninety four to sixty three in
the third quarter. They won one thirty five to one
thirty one.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
Well, I mean, look at the final two quarters for
the San Antonio Spurs. It's not like the Knicks. Did
you know sixty points a quarter? They put up twenty
six and thirty two the Knick or the the not
the Knicks. The Spurs scored fourteen in the third, sixteen
in the fourth. Yeah, that'll kill you. That'll kill you
(43:14):
that you're essentially on paced, not essentially you're on pace
for sixty points for a game.
Speaker 6 (43:19):
Yeah, that's not what scteen points seventy six in the
first half exactly.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
Tired, they need to they're tired.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
They hate casketball. Yeah, they're so tired of bussy.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Why can't say I blame them. It's been playing since
October of twenty twelve, and.
Speaker 3 (43:35):
Think out bad.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
This is the Spurs for the game shot forty percent
from three. That's how amazing they were in the first
half from three. They still finished seventeen to forty three.
Forty percent you shoot, you shoot as a team, forty
percent from three, you win almost all the time. Yeah,
almost all the time. Now, the Knicks happened to shoot
(43:57):
forty seven percent from three, and most of that was
in the second half when the Spurs were falling apart.
Speaker 5 (44:04):
Just brutal, hideous.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
What really matters, though, is this, by the way, you
know who I always thought was a huge Knicks fan,
And you guys have mentioned all the celebrities.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
I haven't heard his name, Howard Stern. Has he been
court signed or is he too not big enough for well?
Speaker 1 (44:18):
A couple of months ago, again, he said on his
show that he feels really guilty taking those seats because
he doesn't really like sports, right, he just likes to
take in the vibe once in a while. Right, Sure,
he said he feels guilty getting those seats for free.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
Didn't he say though, that they're available to anybody?
Speaker 1 (44:32):
I think he said he did. Yeah, they are available
to anyone.
Speaker 6 (44:35):
I think that week he went. I think he went
and saw a play on Broadway. He went to the
Yankees game right front row, and then the Knicks game.
Speaker 5 (44:44):
So they're available to Anyoneyeah, you can do that.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
What do you mean hasn't happened to me yet?
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Yeah? I think he went with his friend Devin Sworen. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (44:53):
I think Wait when I think he sat next to
Cedric the entertainer, Cedric? Yeah, Cedric the entertainer Cedric? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:02):
Am I saying that right? Cedric knew? I think so, Cedric?
This show is so dumb. Yeah, by somebody in joke. Well,
what really matters.
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Is this a main man, not my main man, A
man from Maine. This is definitely not my main man.
A main man is facing charges after he's accused of
holding a woman hostage.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Right, hang on, but Sauce let him finish.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
Hostage, forcing her into a marriage, and hurting her in
a Satanic ritual.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
My gosh, yes, how does Olive coming into this at all?
There's the Satanic ritual? Where's the unlimited bread.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
Sticks that's part of the ritual? Fantastic Police in Newington,
New Hampshire, arrested forty seven year old Daniel Ullett at
an olive garden on Sunday after a mother contacted Pennsylvania
State Patrol Police about tracking her daughter's phone by a location.
Court documents they officers saw cigarette burns on the woman's
(46:04):
legs after she ran out of the restaurant, asking for
an emergency restraining order against that man. Uh The court
documents also alleged officers found a Satanic Bible, sweatshirt, and
bag of random things in Uhlett's car. Uhlett is accused
of having a gun, forcing the woman to marry him,
pointing a gun at her while she was driving, and
(46:26):
saying a religious call was following them. Where do you
go to marry somebody in a forced marriage?
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (46:37):
They do that? Now sure, I don't know if that's true.
We should check on that.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
Times are changing then, Yeah, you're looking for cash? Yeah, yeah,
that's a good question. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
You know, churches will do anything for a dollar, but
I'm not sure they'll do this.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
Yeah, I think they, and I mean the Fried Chicken Company. Yeah, well,
been in a quote forced marriage? I don't I don't
think you know, if you point the gun at the
person before the ceremony. I don't think the actual facility
was like, well, he held a gun to her the
whole time. We're not going to verify this or validate this.
(47:13):
It was more of a Hey, I'm gonna you know,
we're going to bring in to the old courthouse here.
Do you say one word, I'm gonna shoot you. You
know what I'm saying. They might they might not have
thought anything was up at all, Maybe right, she said, I.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
Do what do you believe that there was any kind
of raised eyebrow when they read from the Satanic Bible.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Which I didn't know was still in print. I didn't
know that. I didn't know there was the latest edition.
Can you get it at Barnes and Noble. Working in the.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Last two years, they've hadded a few things.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
Get printer here. That was another Inside Joe. That was
the Anarchistic cookbook. Hi Ben, morning, guys.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
And they never held a copy of the Satanic Bible
while masturbating several times.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Why okay, so which time do you want to know about?
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Is it a good read?
Speaker 5 (48:03):
I didn't get very far.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
The opening page. I got you.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
You disappoint yourself.
Speaker 5 (48:11):
No, That's why I just keep going back to the well.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Yeah in the beginning, gamel.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
Man, you're still saying that.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
By the way, would be put on a suit and tie,
briefcase the whole bit. Walk into like a Starbucks or
a Caribou, order a like a Venti like Americano, Grab
a nice little, uh you know chair, one of those
giant like leather chairs, kick your feet up, and just
whip out the Satanic Bible and just read it.
Speaker 6 (48:46):
And just read it in public likes a giant penta
grandmother casual reading.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
It's just the book I'm reading.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
Grab my pipe just every now and and now and
then go oh I get it now.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
Sure, that's a jackass stunt.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Just go great line and just started laughing to yourself.
Got a highlighter. Yeah, so true, so true. Start crying. Yeah,
where do you buy that? I guess the internet? Yeah.
Do you want me to look it up for you? No? No,
I get the gist of it. Yeah, yeah, he understands.
(49:25):
It's it's like, uh, you know, you don't have to
see the movie Titanic to know how it ends. It's
my turn. Sure. Hey, the links are at Vegas Saturday
at seven o'clock. They've won eight straight and again we
keep talking about Olivia Miles. Do you know she's like
essentially top ten in scoring. She's in the league. Yeah,
as a rookie. Yeah, seventeen point eight game. They are
(49:47):
a w NBA two, w NBA Best ten and two.
And like we mentioned yesterday, they don't have any Fisa
Collier And uh, you know, people are starting to say,
are we even sure she's the best player on the
team anymore? Since Olivia Miles is here, where was she
the favorites? What number was she drafted to? We had
a second pick, second pick and they nailed it.
Speaker 6 (50:08):
What was the bit this week that they I think
the Links posted a picture of Olivia Miles points and
then what is it?
Speaker 5 (50:18):
Easy fuds points and easy I.
Speaker 1 (50:20):
Think at like four because she was the number one,
number one. Yeah, and the.
Speaker 5 (50:24):
Dallas Wings like got pissed, I got offended by it?
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Is that the story?
Speaker 7 (50:29):
So they tweeted out the yeah, the comparison to side
by side statue between those two and uh, yeah, it
was did not look good for the Wings player, and
then looked really good for the Links player.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
And you know, it's sports, it's professional sports. It's it's
a fair shot.
Speaker 7 (50:45):
And uh, but a bunch of Dallas fans and a
bunch of w NBA fans as a whole got angry.
So the Links deleted the tweet. And it's just it
was the dumbest controversy ever. Because they're pro sports.
Speaker 8 (50:58):
It happens all the time, right, yeah, I mean football.
It's like it's every week they're comparing first drawn draft picks.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
And by the way, it's okay that your competitors are
angry at you screw them.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Yes, yeah, I agree. I wish they didn't delete it.
I don't know why they did.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
They put it back up on the Campeons potry page.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
Oh did they? Did you fart? Who you?
Speaker 3 (51:19):
Why do you always ask me that?
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Why are you asking that? Did you hear that? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Did you hear that?
Speaker 1 (51:32):
Like I was, did you? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (51:35):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (51:40):
I like you. You're crazy.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
No, it's mine.
Speaker 1 (51:44):
What really matters is this.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
On June eleventh, Today's date, nineteen fifty five, in Lemon, France,
a driver by the name of Pierre Levy, a Frenchman,
was racing in the twenty four hour endurance race of
Lemon and he lost control of the car. It crashed
into the grandstands and killed eighty three people oh The
(52:13):
Lemon Race was first held in May of nineteen twenty
three and has since been held nearly every June. The
race always begins at four pm on Saturday afternoon, last
for the next twenty four hours over a thirteen kilometers
course running through the country roads near Lemont. The winner
is the racer who covers the greatest distance in that time.
Before nineteen seventy, each car could only have two drivers.
(52:35):
Only a single driver was allowed in the early years.
Three are required today. In nineteen fifty five, leave this
front Wall, who nearly won driving solo three years early,
was invited to join the Mercedes Benz team. The three
hundred SLR was to be outfitted with a new innovation,
an air brake that would enhance cornering. Prior to the race,
Levey complained that the course was two narrow near the
(52:58):
pitstop area in the grandstand. This observation proved deprescient as
Levey was racing for the lead near the pitstop area.
He swerved to avoid fellow racer Mike Hawthorne's jet war
as it moved through the pits. LaVey's car, going about
one fifty, came up too fast on Lance Macklin's Austin
Healy and was catapulted toward the grand Stance. And yes,
(53:19):
there is video of it hard pass.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Yeah, I don't want to see that.
Speaker 3 (53:24):
You can't believe what you're seeing is real.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
Yeah, no thing.
Speaker 2 (53:28):
Yeah, Levey died as well. Would have been real bad.
I guess he probably would liked it if you had lived.
But that's a hard thing to live with, you know.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Sure, man fire engine parts, wheels, everything, just flying to
the grand stands. So this was when nineteen fifty five.
Speaker 5 (53:49):
Yeah, so this was the whole Ford versus Ferrari bit right.
Speaker 3 (53:53):
Yeah, yeah, right around that time.
Speaker 8 (53:55):
Yeah, yeah, that was the movie was about the Lemons, correct, Yeah,
uh yeah, question mark, Yes, I think so.
Speaker 5 (54:03):
I saw you once. Yeah, it was a great movie.
I just I don't know why. I can't remember if
that was the race that they were highlighting.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
Yes, that is the one at the end of the film.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
They raced Daytona as well, and uh and so no
in the film, but the big one is the twenty five.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Yes, you're exactly right.
Speaker 2 (54:20):
Uh, you know, he was a great actor and he
was I haven't listened to it yet because I have
to build up to listening.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
To the podcast with the Three friend Marlins. Yeah, but
John Berenthal is great and he was in Ford versus Ferrari.
Speaker 1 (54:38):
Walking Dead and he's been so much. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (54:42):
Take a movie with Brad Pitt.
Speaker 5 (54:44):
Oh yes, which is one of one of the best
war movies.
Speaker 1 (54:48):
Every night.
Speaker 3 (54:49):
That scene in the French ladies house. Oh man, that's good.
Speaker 5 (54:53):
Have you seen that?
Speaker 1 (54:54):
Core never saw Fury?
Speaker 3 (54:55):
Fury so appreciated.
Speaker 8 (54:57):
We put that on your list. I know that you
talked to you day about like the some of the
classics that you haven't seen. Sure, fine, yeah, I don't
watch those that they're they're dated, they'll never hold up.
Speaker 5 (55:06):
Yeah, okay, Fury, Yeah, put Fury on the top of it.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
Oh that have you guys heard of Pressure? Is that
what it's called Pressure? It's a new film out's got
the dude who got roll?
Speaker 1 (55:20):
Uh yeah, Brendan Brendon Fraser.
Speaker 5 (55:23):
Yeah, the war movie right kind of up the Beach
of the Storm and the Beach.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
Going crazy, really because it kind of hit theaters and disappeared,
didn't it Like wasn't.
Speaker 5 (55:31):
It like a I think it's still in theaters.
Speaker 3 (55:33):
I thought it just came out last week May Memory
it came out, Are you cereal?
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Yeah, eighty six percent on Rotten Tomatoes. I think it
was like, yeah, I don't know if it did very
well in the box office.
Speaker 5 (55:49):
Is it still it's got to be still.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
In the theater?
Speaker 5 (55:51):
Yeah, somebody else we should go and hold hands.
Speaker 3 (55:53):
I would like that. I'm st the movies tomorrow with
Saucy to see some film. He cares about it.
Speaker 5 (55:58):
The Alien, The Disclosure Doll. Want to see that too?
Speaker 8 (56:02):
You want to go look at Have you seen the
documentary Aged Disclosure?
Speaker 5 (56:07):
No, you guys to watch that before you watch this.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
Is that the Michael Jackson documentary?
Speaker 5 (56:12):
Don't watch that?
Speaker 1 (56:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (56:15):
That's actually you know what?
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Do watch that? I actually do watch?
Speaker 3 (56:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Right?
Speaker 1 (56:19):
Uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (56:20):
Pressure dramatizes the three days leading up to the Normandy
landings in June nineteen forty four. The story centers on
Group Captain James Stagg, the chief meteorologist, and General Dwight D. Eisenhower,
who must decide whether to launch the largest seaborn invasion
in history amid uncertain weather conditions. Man, that doesn't seem
(56:41):
like a movie, no, but apparently it's fantastic. Stag's data
driven forecast clash with rival meteorologist Colonel Irving Krick, creating
an intense tension within the Allied command. Really so, I mean,
I'm sure this is a fantastic film and that seems
like a big giant decision, But it doesn't seem like
we should make a movie about these two mediora just
are pissed at each other.
Speaker 1 (57:01):
Yeah, what's one thing when it comes to World War Two?
What's one thing we haven't covered yet? Yeah, the weather reports,
the conflicting weather reports.
Speaker 5 (57:09):
Is Paul Douglass available?
Speaker 2 (57:11):
The film explores the human and strategic pressures behind the decision.
I can't imagine because they knew they were sending literally
tens of thousands of people their death.
Speaker 8 (57:21):
Well wasn't the whole lead up the it was the
deception part of it, right, Yeah, they had you know,
I don't know who they was at, Stanley Krubrick. I
don't know why that name is stuck in my head,
but they the government hired a Hollywood director to basically
make the fake like a fake set of like tanks
and stuff on the way way way northern part where
they basically yeah, and then they're like, well, if they
(57:44):
all think that we're going to invade, invade in that
area off the coast of France or wherever it was,
and so they only had a small window before they
figured out that they actually weren't going to invade that area.
Speaker 5 (57:55):
So I think it is.
Speaker 8 (57:57):
I guess the weather is like a huge part of it,
because they they knew that beach at Normandy One was
the least sort of fortified because they were sending all
the troops up north to where they put all the
fake tanks and stuff on the beach.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
Like that.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
Of it staged and fabricated segments of attack on Oh no,
I'm sorry, that's not right.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (58:21):
Maybe freight Capra.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (58:25):
At the time, it was some famous Hollywood director or
movie person, and they basically so when they took all
their spy aerial photographs, they want to make it look
like they're actually staging an area to invade, but that
was like hundreds of miles away from Normandy, and so
they're like, eventually they're going to figure out that we're
actually not, and so we got to we gotta have
(58:45):
to launch this attack on Normandy like asap.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
Man.
Speaker 3 (58:49):
I don't know, dude, you know, we do.
Speaker 5 (58:51):
I watched the movie instead to listen to me.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
You guys know, obviously I do the work at the end.
The Vietnam show that we're doing right now, it's six
sold out shows at the chant Has and it's very
pop show, and I'm honored to be a part of it,
right And part of the show, Ben, is that we
have three different veterans, two of them from Vietnam, telling
their stories between every other every other song, and it's
an emotion. I've gotten to know these gentlemen very well.
Speaker 2 (59:12):
But Sam, one of our two veterans, he joined the
Marines when he was eighteen years old.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 2 (59:20):
And by the time he was nineteen years old, he
was the oldest person in his platoon and leading his
platoon because he was the old guy in his platoon
at nineteen years spent eleven months in the s word
in Vietnam.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
I just can't imagine. I can't imagine, just can't imagine.
Speaker 8 (59:39):
You guys, you three looking at you three sauce. Eventually
you'll get there, myself included. Now we all have eighteen
plus kids.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 8 (59:49):
Like I'm thinking about my daughter right now. You can
barely unload the dishwasher and put everything away in the
right place, right, like eighteen year old kid down over
seas after basic and leading a group of men in war.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
And and there's a there's a series of videos that
play behind us when we're when we're doing the different songs,
and I can't look at it because they you can
tell their eighteen nineteen year old kids, and the looks
in their faces are like, this is really happening to me.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
It's this heartbreaking, man, I can't believe it. I can't
believe it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
Mean, it's crazy, terrible, all right?
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
That really matters? Yeah, more of what really matters after
this on the fan from.
Speaker 7 (01:00:26):
I want to chime in on what's happening with your
favorite KFN program. Make your voice heard on the Bradshot
and Brian text line. Let us know what you have
to say by texting your message just six four six
eight six at six four six eight six standard message
in data rate supply.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
That's right. Hey, here we are. Max O's here, have Maxo?
Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Hey, what's y'all? Maxo salutation?
Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Benzo's over there cast thousands? Hey, ben have you taken
any time to get over to a mini campion?
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
I have not so.
Speaker 5 (01:00:57):
Yeah, you should do that.
Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
I'm thinking about it. I like going down and seeing
football players do stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
Yeah, you like him run around there? What Dan Campbell say?
They're pjs?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Yeah? Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
I think KOC talks today?
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Does he? Yeah? I think so? Or just like the
first time I think publicly?
Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
Yeah, what's he gonna talk about?
Speaker 6 (01:01:14):
I'm sure he'll be asked about the quarterback. He'll be
asked about his favorite thing to do between now and
training camp.
Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
It'd be fun as if and not like not shocked
things like real things like if like you went to
the press conferences every time and you ask one question
about like, tell me your thoughts on the Peter Frampton
documentary Genius?
Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
What do you think about the East Coast West Coast
b Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:01:39):
Yeah, it's Biggie still alive?
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:01:42):
Are you going to them all later?
Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
Do you like OMC?
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
How bizarre?
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
Have you ever seen a lump like this on a penis.
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Leave? Do you like gladiators?
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Back to what really BECs?
Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
I'll let you guys know if I ask any questions,
but I don't think I will because I have respect.
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
Well that's good, you definitely do. That's what really matters,
all right? What really matters. This is what matters the most.
Forget the NBA finals, forget the Stanley Cup Final. What
matters most, sauceker Hooker. Minnesota's Rich Alsop won the Monsters
Stack for one point three million dollars. Everybody loves Rich bracelet.
(01:02:25):
I definitely is. It's his second career bracelets. So, Sauce,
if we had made the bet, Rich would have got
me one hundred dollars because you bet against Minnesota and
I like to see Minnesota players win. So he beat
eleven nine and thirty three players technically including me because
I was in that tournament. But he scoops it for
one point three million, which puts him second on the
(01:02:47):
all time money list for Minnesota, trailing only Blake Bond.
Oh hell yeah, So shout out to Rich. Rich is
you know a Mount Rushmore guy in the state of Minnesota.
He's unbelievable and everybody likes it. Me super nice and
he deserves it. One three million. Super nice guy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
So you can be nice and play poker. You can Wow,
what's your problem?
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
Million? God dig good for him, man, imagine that.
Speaker 3 (01:03:10):
Yeah, So he's like he's probably a career wise only
down a few million now So that's good.
Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
Uh, that puts him I think right around four million
in career earning. Richie.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Good for him, Come for a Richie. That's really something,
dude the beast.
Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
Good for him. Man, Yeah, man, eleven thousand, nine hundred
players and he has my money.
Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
So is this the tournament you were?
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
That was the one I was in twice? Technically again,
I cash it once busted and reboughts, So technically.
Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
It's like a squirrel.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
I'm a dog. I'm two of the eleven thousand, nine
hundred and thirty three.
Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
Technically you you really are.
Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
So he beat me twice for you? Yeah, straight up?
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
He bid me if you only both did one one
point three million? What a dream for rich hotel?
Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
Yeah, are you disappointed? You only busted once in a
whole hotel yourself?
Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
You were there.
Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
You take a little blue pill.
Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
Yeah, he's right on our guy's tail. He's right behind Blake.
Now that's what He's three hundred k behind Blake. I
think what really matters, though.
Speaker 4 (01:04:11):
Is this.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
Alexander the Great, the young Macedonian military genius who forged
an empire stretching from the eastern Mediterranean to India, died
on this day. In present day Iraq at the age
of thirty freaking two.
Speaker 5 (01:04:26):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
Man, Alexander the Great, he only lived to be thirty
two years old.
Speaker 5 (01:04:31):
He did all those things, yea, by the age of
thirty two.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Again, I don't think anybody's ever adequately done a movie
about this guy.
Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
But his life story, if it's accurate, and who's to say, incredible,
even as Dad's life story was incredible.
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
So they did. Obviously they've done some movies, right. Was
the Colin Farrell Alexander the Great movie? Bad? I never
saw it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
I just don't think it would It wasn't. It's not
possible to tell that story in one enough.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
He would need a series.
Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
Yeah, that's a good idea. I'd rather watch that than
like the latest Marvel. The superhero has got big wiener
on him and lights around and peace on people. I
didn't know what they do anymore.
Speaker 9 (01:05:05):
They run the super Boy, the Boy you need help, Man,
you need help and sid Man.
Speaker 5 (01:05:11):
It is different these days.
Speaker 6 (01:05:12):
I didn't want to did the walk shade back into
the studio because he's working closer the way.
Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
That's what that is.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
What is nuts about the series The Boys. They just
ended is.
Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
I know it's based on comics and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
But if they were in a writer's room and somebody
was like, what if we just have a guy I
don't know, he's got a giant wiener and he flies
around and peace on people, they go, yeah, let's put
that in episode six. It looked like no idea got
shot down, and the grosser and more pornographic it was,
it was more likely to get into this show.
Speaker 9 (01:05:42):
And they already were halfway there. There was a guy
whose power was that he had a giant wiener.
Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
Yeah, he used like a twelve foot whip. He would
hit people with it, right swordtail, huh, I mean it was.
It was like Doc Occause. I mean it was ridiculous.
I could be very careful. Yeah, you gotta be careful. Yeah,
that show was really fun. I missed that Showue.
Speaker 2 (01:06:08):
Did you know that the born in Macedonia, Alexander the
Great received a classical education from none other than Aristotle.
Speaker 9 (01:06:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
At the age of sixteen, Alexander led his first troops
into combat. Two years later, commanded a large part of
his father's army that won the Battle of Sharonia and
brought Greece under Macedonian rule.
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
In three hundred and thirty six b C.
Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Phillip the Second, his papa was assassinated and Alexander ascended
to the throne.
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Stupid question.
Speaker 8 (01:06:39):
Yeah, is Macedonia still Macedonia or is it changed to
something else?
Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
Question?
Speaker 5 (01:06:45):
Yeah, is Macedonia it does feel like?
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Right? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
Or you know, I know North Macedonia is a country.
Speaker 8 (01:06:52):
Yeah, but Macedonia's North Macedonia is an actual country.
Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Yes, wow, No, Madon, I just felt like I had
to do a Kasami's not yet he loves it.
Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Two years later, the young king led an army into
Asia Minor to carry out his father's plans for conquering
all of Persia. Consistently outnumbered in his battles against superior
Persian forces, Alexander displayed an unprecedented understanding of strategic military
planning and tactical maneuvers. He never lost a single battle,
and by three point thirty BC, all of Persia and
(01:07:28):
all of Asia Minor was under his way.
Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
I don't know if you guys are history buffs. He
tried to take on the world apparently Yeah, well, I mean,
I think back then the element of surprise was pretty
key because you're just sitting around going like, hey, cool,
we're in Persia. Everything's going great, and then this giant
(01:07:51):
army shows it and you're like, well, son of a bitch,
I wasn't ready for this, and then you're wiped out. Yeah,
it's over. It's not like somebody posts on Twitter, Hey,
we're gonna go take over Macedonia. We're gonna go take
over Persia's they just show up. They're like, what you
didn't even tell us? Did you send a raven a note?
Damn it?
Speaker 5 (01:08:09):
Yeah, thanks a lot, It thinks a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
Well, yeah, you'd be impaled. Yeah, you know, be over.
Speaker 5 (01:08:15):
You don't think they saw him using their like spice
satellites and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
I don't think so. No, there's no drones or dragons
or whatnot.
Speaker 3 (01:08:22):
No.
Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
Hey, we mentioned earlier that Byron Buckson is kind of
killing it this year, even though the Twins are, you know,
but six seven games under five hundred. Byron Buckson yesterday
his twentieth home run of the year. How many players
in Major League Baseball this year have more home runs
than Byron Buxton five seven, Baker's dozen eight four, Kyle
(01:08:52):
Schwarber has twenty four. Something called Jordan Alvarez of Houston
has twenty two. That's it. Wow, yep, Wow, he's tied
for It's got a Jordan's two guys.
Speaker 5 (01:09:02):
Isn't Kyle Schwarber the leadoff hitter?
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
I think he leads off for them? Yes, number one?
I think so. Yeah, he's great.
Speaker 9 (01:09:12):
That guy for the White Sox was he had a
crazy hot start, the south Side Samurai, but I think
he got hurt.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
I thought he would be in there.
Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
He's got twenty box. Oh it's still man, damn.
Speaker 6 (01:09:26):
The south Side Samurai is a great all time nickname,
great nickname.
Speaker 5 (01:09:30):
It's a great nick What really matters, though, is this.
Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
I do like that nickname. Yeah, that would be a
cool thing to be named as mhm. Is he from Chicago?
Speaker 5 (01:09:43):
Sure, he plays from Japan. No, he's just a local softball.
Speaker 8 (01:09:51):
If he looked like John Crook, I'll be like, I
don't I don't know if that gits.
Speaker 9 (01:09:57):
He was like the all time home run leader or
something like that in Japan and then but he had
like a super high whiff rate, and so everybody kind
of yeah, pretty much, your dad drafted number one in
Fantasy baseball, but everybody, literally every other team pretty much
passed him up. Even though he seemed like an obvious
prospect because of the high whiff rate and then he's
(01:10:19):
doing his damn thing.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
But I believe Bonus said he doesn't fit the way
that the Twins play.
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
Well, he makes money, so that's strike one. Yeah, so
he's a little bit like Pedro Serrano, very similar.
Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Yeah, purpball.
Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
Yeah, somebody give me a chicken.
Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
Speaking of whiff rate, This morning, when I woke up
and I came to work, I had to stop by
cup Food not only to get myself a delicious meal
because I'm starving, but also because I forgot to bring deodorante.
And you know how deodorant is one of those things
are your target you just grab and you put in
the car because you got to have it because you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
Don't want to smell. Yeah, have you looked at the
prices of that blanket? Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:10:56):
Forty I rot? Oh god, definitely fifteen bucks?
Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
Yeah, exactly right. It's funny to bring that up because
the guy that I used photoverhs and targets stop carrying it.
So I just bought like a twelve pack on Amazon. Yeah, astronomical,
and I'm like, what the hell these used to be
like two fifty apiece three bucks a piece. Now it's
something like I don't know, six or seven for even
just a standard like stick. You get the good stuff.
(01:11:24):
You're talking ten plus dollars a yeah, an item.
Speaker 5 (01:11:28):
It's getting ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
Well, my goal was because I you know, I have
a travel bag for gigs. Just like last night, I
said I was going to spend the night, so I
have my travel bag, and I was out of deodorant, so.
Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
I was gonna buy one of the littlands.
Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
It was four dollars, yeah, for about four squirts. What's
going on with deodorant? Is there a supply chain that's
been disrupted?
Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
I just think they resulted.
Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
Does it all come from the straight of horror moves? Like?
Where are we getting deodorant? Right here? Called salt and
stone deodoran? I've never heard of it.
Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
Salt, yeah, stone twenty bucks.
Speaker 6 (01:11:59):
Yeah, this is called whore means yeah, carpe underarm antiperspirant
twenty bucks.
Speaker 3 (01:12:08):
Have you ever used that stuff?
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:12:10):
Yeah, he means deodorant. Yeah, I don't use anti person.
I just used you guys used I.
Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
Just used.
Speaker 5 (01:12:18):
Right, Yeah, I just doant.
Speaker 6 (01:12:19):
Yeah, you see the limited foil Yeah sure, yeah, I'm
all Nashural like red Pitt.
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):

Speaker 9 (01:12:26):

so funky, just so funky.
Speaker 1 (01:12:33):

Speaker 6 (01:12:35):

Speaker 5 (01:12:39):

Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
Something's going on.
Speaker 6 (01:12:44):
Kashmir myst Donna, Karen the Kind Hawk wears twenty seven bucks.
Speaker 5 (01:12:51):
Those compounds can't be all that expensive. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Again, they know what we're gonna do, not habit.
Speaker 5 (01:12:58):
Yeah, you go like you said, you go through Target,
You're like fourteen bucks. Toothpaste is not that expensive. Everybody
uses toothpaste.
Speaker 6 (01:13:05):
Well I use, god, except for except for I used
most everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:13:12):
You use cake icing for toothpaste?
Speaker 5 (01:13:14):
Oh God, I love cake butter cream?
Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
Yeah, I do not like butter cream. I'm like regular icing.
Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
Set your filthy mouth.
Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
It is filthy though.
Speaker 6 (01:13:25):
