This is the Power Trip Morning to show, the home
of the nine and two Minnesota Vikings, the nine and two.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
Minnesota Freaking Vikings.

Speaker 8 (02:25):
A little dramatic yesterday, twenty two seconds to go, an
eleven point lead and all of a sudden eleven points
in the final twenty.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Two seconds for Chicago thinks.

Speaker 8 (02:34):
Scared every Vikings fan to death, but they get her
done with an overtime winner, even though the Bears got
the ball first. Yeps, yep, got dicey, but it did man.
Your guy Caleb Williams put on a pretty nice looking
show there, yeah, thank god, and gave us a scare.
But the Vikes hold on and win in overtime at

(02:56):
thirty to twenty seven.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
They're nine and freaking two.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
And there's a.

Speaker 8 (03:03):
Very good chance that your butt explodes. Okay, that's one A,
one B. There's a very good chance the teeth fell out,
one C. There's a very good is that? What would
have to happen for your your you know, scientifically designed
teeth to fall out hard sneeze?

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Uh yeah? What would have to happen?

Speaker 8 (03:28):
Like if Zach punched you really hard in the face,
that would that would do it?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
But I don't think he would give me a reason.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Star sneezed one time and one of his teeth flew
across the room. Is that right in that room? Right there?
He sneeze hard, his tooth fell out.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Pretty cool?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
It was awesome, my god.

Speaker 6 (03:45):
So anyway, how can your teeth come out?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Spins? Probably?

Speaker 8 (03:51):
I mean they say the worst things for your for
teeth or are bagels? Bagels? I don't think that's how
they say it. How do you say it like a
normal person?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Bagels? I never thought about it made me wonder if
it wrong.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
How do you say?

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Don't tell them? Nobody tell them bagels? Anyway?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
That's okay?

Speaker 8 (04:13):
Uh yeah, But anyway, there's a very good chance for
the vikings. I don't care about the vikings. I want
to go back to how your teeth can follow. I
don't know the cement yeah cemented to my no kidding,
I mean like teeth cement. Teeth, not teething cement. Teeth cement,

(04:34):
a couple of bricks. But yeah, God, would you finish
your sentence, like, like if the thing was breastfeeding?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Yeah, did you leave.

Speaker 9 (04:49):
Your initials in like with your finger into the brilliant
teeth cement?

Speaker 5 (04:53):
No?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Children put their like their feet in the.

Speaker 8 (04:59):
Yeah, why did kids put their feet in your mouth?

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Are you sucking kid toes?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Dude?

Speaker 8 (05:06):
That's gross, probably illegal.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
My guess is that's illegal.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
She hasn't fallen out.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Anyway, there's a very good chance with the vikings.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
No, no, no, no, no, And we're not done with your
teeth or your other things.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Please finish your sing. There's a god.

Speaker 8 (05:21):
Well, he interrupted, he's mad. He doesn't want me to
talk about the vikings. Well, it's not going to be interesting. No,
but there's a very good chance with the vikings that
they are like a fifteen and two f No not
to fifteen, doesn't matter. But they're like a fourteen or
fifteen win team. That's a wild card team.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Yeah, I know, no weird, Yeah, just that one year man.
Because the Lions are just good. They're just real good.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
They played their best game yesterday against the Colts and
they still won by nineteen, right, like we were talking
about on overtime, how that was a moral victory for
the Colts.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Totally lose by.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Nineteen because the Lions have been hanging four already on
people regularly.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Colts need stick with those black helmets. And there's a badass.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
Yeah, I don't think I saw him. I don't know
if I saw a second of that game.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Take a sweet lookie at him.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Let me see here, Colts Lions.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
They had their eyes on the prize.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
The finish line is waiting, right, that's what they say. Okay,
there's a right, sure, Yeah they're cool. Interesting. Oh see.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Wait a minute.

Speaker 8 (06:30):
This computer now, oh yeah, the computer now has a speaker,
no kidding one and uh how can pull it.

Speaker 9 (06:37):
Up on the board if you ever want that to happen,
me pull it out on the board.

Speaker 8 (06:42):
Yeah, see it so he can now play sound off
of this computer. And this computer has a speaker. So
I can listen to it during the break. Correct, man,
we are rolling in cash now.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
No, we are weird.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Must turned around.

Speaker 8 (06:57):
Yeah, I think those speakers came. But like a Hewlett
Packard in the night, you have.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
No idea how often Barrera watches his porn on there, though.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
We got to be real careful.

Speaker 8 (07:07):
Well, let me see, hey, let me see what his
latest Google searches. What is this interesting? Big interesting?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Wow?

Speaker 8 (07:16):
Interesting cement teats he recently searched for. And then there's
a whole bunch of avengers and fantastic for porn. Yeah,
he could watch he does love fan fiction. Yeah, hawk
would watch that.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (07:36):
Probably all right, So we have a speaker now in here. Wow, man,
it's on Crazy twenty first century.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
It's for talkbacks.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
But what now?

Speaker 8 (07:47):
Yeah, it's so you it's so you can preview them though,
I'm not going to another And then producer, Hey, play him.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Norma was using it yesterday. O. Great, that sounds cool.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Job guys, whoever did that? Chess?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Thanks Chess, Uncle Jesse from the Hazard? Okay is it?

Speaker 8 (08:15):
I never know now if anything on the Internet is
real or not. So.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
About a week ago, Dave Coolier.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
Comes out and says he's got cancer, right, battling cancer?
Did I read correctly that Uncle Jesse John Stamos put
on a bald cap to support him. Yes, that's an
interesting choice because I heard he was getting dragged and
I'm like, am I falling for a trap here? Or
is this real kind of an interesting choice of just

(08:42):
throwing a bald cap to stand in solidarity with the
guy who's going through cancer?

Speaker 5 (08:46):
How about shave your head if you're going to do it.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
No, No, you can't do that. Best he can do well.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Wouldn't ask Peter North to shave office penis correct? Yeah,
that's a good point.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
We're just I'm not.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Sure that's a good analogy.

Speaker 8 (09:04):
I don't know if that's the same. You could just
have encouraging words, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
How about that?

Speaker 8 (09:07):
How about keep your hair and say best of luck
to my buddy? Because someone on Twitter was like, you're
not going to take your arm out of your shirt
sleeve to stand in solidarity with someone that got their
arm shot off in the.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
War, Yeah, saying what if he shaved his balls?

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Oh? Man, I think you don't have something coolier.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
I mean, I guess, yeah, I guess he could shave
Coolier's balls.

Speaker 8 (09:30):
Yeah, that would we're Coolio? Yeah, Coolio's dead, right, sure?

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Is all right?

Speaker 8 (09:35):
Alright'sangs he's engaged his paradise.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
He died, Does Michael Jackson know?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (09:42):
Coolio died probably ten years ago, two years ago, ten
years ago. I saw that the Wolves game. He died
in twenty twenty two, September of twenty twenty two.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
It felt like a hi, Hello, what's up? Zecho?

Speaker 6 (09:58):
He was only fifty nine? Who was Coolio?

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Is Coolier DoD too?

Speaker 8 (10:03):
No, he's battling cancer but has the support of John Stamos.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Just a little bit though, just a little.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Bit of support.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
I'm totally on Stamos's side here.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I wouldn't get rid.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Of that that uh yeah, that hair. You know what
comes back?

Speaker 10 (10:18):
Right, You never know, And it's too much of a
gift from God.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
You know.

Speaker 8 (10:24):
The whole point is that Dave doesn't get to choose
to shave his head or lose his hair. So that's
the whole point though, Is that sure? That's not ideal
for Stamos to shave his head.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
It's not ideal for Coolio. I would like to understands.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Isn't it ironic?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Don't you think actually that song we got it? Yeah, yeah,
that's cool.

Speaker 10 (10:46):
Why would they write Is he really that much of
a prize to write a song about I Love Uncle
Joey or whatever?

Speaker 8 (10:52):
But I don't know, who knows what Canadians find attractive.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I don't know. Just a couple of Canadian kids going
at it. They weren't kids, well, one of them wasn't.

Speaker 8 (11:03):
As long as they're not putting their feet in sauces
mouth and knocking out some teeth.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, damn it.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Anyway, you were saying about the Vikings.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
Yeah, you were gonna make a point about the Vikes.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Then you kept talking about your teeths No, my teeth.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
No.

Speaker 8 (11:15):
I made the point now that they could have fourteen
or fifteen?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
He did, and I forgot. He finished his sentence and
I forgot.

Speaker 8 (11:23):
Yeah, the fifth seed. I even agreed with him and
play a road playoff game. So here's what happened, guys,
check this out. So we're in Chicago on Saturday night
and I'm wandering around thinking, Man, these bastards got it
figured out. They had it all decorated for Christmas. You
guys ever been to Chicago near Christmas? Yeah, it was lovely,

(11:44):
not in like thirty five years, right is lovely is
the right word, thank you, sauce.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
It was lovely, and right downtown they had a German
Christmas village, not nineteen late thirties forties. We're talking like
olden times Germany, okay.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
The days of your yeah, or yester year.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, right, the good times in Germany, right, and.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
For everybody, right.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
And it was beautiful. And I wandered around there a
little bit, and I could have spent one hundred thousand dollars,
but you know, they don't like to bring things back
on the plane, so it's like, well, mental note. So
then I started wandering off and I was like, wow,
they got it all decorated up for Christmas. It's really
really beautiful. And and then.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Out of nowhere, no kidding, no way, yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
And Pa was right there, and people went everywhere, and
a lady got shot and they didn't catch the guy.

Speaker 8 (12:47):
And I was like, oh, yes, she's barely hanging on.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
And Pa was right there, and let me tell you,
I remember, oh yeah, this is Chicago. Holy moly, it was.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
You guys bought a guns and talked to talk to.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Polly about it today.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
He was shook a little bit.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
I can't blame him. I can't blame him. The response was,
as you can imagine, but they didn't catch the guy
he jumped on the Apparently they they from what Pouli
was saying and what they said in the paper, like
he pulled the trigger and took off and jumped on
the the l and got out of there in such
a way that it was like he had the whole

(13:33):
thing planned, like I'm gonna do this here. And then
that's when the plane beating, Yeah, exactly, like that's when
the train of been here. But yeah, man, there's something else.
I was literally walking around downtown Chicago, going, man, this
is really really beautiful, and I find out that Polly
was like I mean yards away from the gunshots. Oh

(13:54):
he was real real close. Yeah, scary stuff, man, Big
city saws. You were making a point about vikes.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
No, oh you can, Yeah, sure you can.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
And then and then we rode the longest bus ride
in the history of America to get back to the
airport last night, just because of traffic. Yeah, even though
we had a police escort. And then I forget this too.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
I didn't know police could do that.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Here's the thing, people about in Chicago are sort of
like people in Philadelphia, and that the cope and them
the cops are just a suggestion for sure. So our
bus rider was like for about an hour and a half.
By the time we got to the airport, I was like,
just somebody put me out of my misery. I'm so

(14:46):
sick to my stomach right now.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
It's a soul asylum.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, put me out of my misery.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Lincoln Park, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Wow, or Steve put me in him?

Speaker 3 (15:00):
What was I saying? Oh yeah, so you guys know
how I have to look at the orange hands guy.
Yeah right, Well there was this really drunk guy who
kept flipping Pete off, and uh, Pete is good about
it because he knows, you know, this guy is just
a loser, doesn't matter. Oh yeah, yeah, he would have
definitely followed. Well, uh, dumb guy who doesn't he was

(15:25):
drunk and wasted, doesn't realize that I'm looking at orange
hands guy who's literally directly in my path. Looking at
the guy, so like your orange hands guy, and this
is drunk guy Zach oh Sach. So he thinks the
entire day that I'm staring at him. So by the
end of the game, he is just standing there staring

(15:47):
at me like this, like.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Like what's your problem?

Speaker 3 (15:54):
And at one point I was like I'm looking at
the but then I was like what do I care? Right?
And so for the guy didn't realize overtime was happening.
He was too busy looking at me because he was
one hundred percent sure that the whole night I was
looking at him and watching what was going on from
the booth like we were having a staring contest, like
me and my cat, Like, h what.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Do you want to do?

Speaker 5 (16:19):
This guy is getting paid to stare at me right right?
He really?

Speaker 3 (16:23):
But I thought, well, we're gonna have a fight. But
then he nothing happened, mm hmm. But it was an
interesting time Chicago, that story.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Why does anybody ever leave the house?

Speaker 5 (16:34):
Well, why do you go outside?

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Bad stuff happened?

Speaker 3 (16:40):
If I may, I think it was what Saus was
talking about earlier teets. Oh yeah, am I right.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Outside?

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Is that the point we were trying to make about
Vikings saw that was no, I.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Said, teeth. Why are you talking about teeth?

Speaker 8 (16:55):
Dude? It's a Vikings Monday about with teeth?

Speaker 3 (16:59):
That's what she went. Is that your favorite from are
you talking about the guy from the Muppetsuck.

Speaker 8 (17:03):
What's that movie called? Which one one with the vagina
with teeth? It's worth it, I think, is what it's called. Jesus,
I think it's actually it's called.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
It'll do it a pinch? Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Right yeah, and then it says in parentheses and it
will pinch.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Oh, don't don't knock continue you try it.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
I didn't nothing wrong with a little nibble.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
That's the sequel.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
The only way Rosie can Oh wow, come on, yeah,
that's what he was gonna say.

Speaker 11 (17:35):
Jesus, who who me? All right, Sauce won't shut up
about his teeth. Some of us are trying to talk
about the Vikings. It is a Vikings Monday.

Speaker 8 (17:46):
They won thirty to twenty seven over the Bears in overtime.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
More the power trim wanting show up for this on
the pin.

Speaker 8 (18:12):
Hey Hawk, hogs'll be hot? Yeah, yeah, hey Hawk, you're
coming over for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
And why are you put me in that spot? Ask you?
I am not thank you, though I appreciate your offer.
Thank you. I appreciate that very much. Yeah, thank you
very much.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Oh.

Speaker 8 (18:36):
I guess Max and Zach and I will find something
else to do max is invited?

Speaker 5 (18:39):
Oh, yes, that's invited me. Okay, so Hawks invited.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I'll be there.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Max is invited.

Speaker 8 (18:45):
Do you want to go court? Is that an invitation?
That's not the point. The point is not going. It's
that Zach and I were not asked Max and Hawk.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Or you wouldn't show up.

Speaker 8 (18:55):
That's not the last Thanksgiving meal you're ever gonna have.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
You don't eat the food anyway. Do you want to
go Thanksgiving? I don't need any dell the bread.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
I mean exactly, you eat Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Wanted an invite?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Do you want to go?

Speaker 10 (19:10):
I mean no, we would have found out if if
we invited those two.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
There's the reason why you invited those two?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yeah, there's one, well, two, three.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
You know, I'm say five five, five reasons.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
That's It's okay, I'm gonna go see uh Mulwana two.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
That looks yep yep. Also good for you man. Did
you Fellows see Wicked?

Speaker 2 (19:41):
I did not yet, And.

Speaker 8 (19:46):
It's Uh it's incredible. It's one of the best theater
experiences I've ever had. It's outstanding, and I didn't know
anything about it.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (19:54):
There is one scene in it that makes it a
nine point nine out of ten because.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
It's a scene Alphabet gets naked. No, it's not that.

Speaker 8 (20:05):
It's a scene that I've worked with you too long, Corey,
where if you'd been in the theater, you would have
walked out.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
It was that bad.

Speaker 8 (20:12):
There's one scene it's it's a meta Chlorian like like, oh,
where you would have gone come on. That's how we
came up with this. And I'll tell you during the
break because I know you don't care. No.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
But other than that, it's outstanding. The singing.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
At first, I'm like, good, this would be a lot
of singing, and then it doesn't even matter. It's so good.
The songs are great. Both of the ladies that are
the Witch and then the Wicked Witch and all those people,
they're excellent. The side characters are excellent. Goldbloom is outstanding.
It's just wonderful. It's a wonderful movie.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
I'm excited.

Speaker 8 (20:51):
Yeah, I didn't think. I thought, you know, this will
be good. Because I'm buy into the hype and I'm
easily manipulated by advertising. I'm like, yeah, sure, I'll go
see this. It was sweet pack theater. There are about
four seats that weren't taken. It was awesome. Go see it.
I can't wait to tell you the line, Corey, because

(21:13):
thank you for I want to see your reaction. M.
But it's very good. You'd hate it. Yeah, but that's
what did your Did your family see it?

Speaker 5 (21:23):
No?

Speaker 4 (21:25):
No?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
But yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:27):
How many times hockey have you seen it on? I've
seen the musical three times?

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Did you see it on Broadway? I did? That's Sweet
with uh.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
Uh no with uh Adina Menzel. Yeah, the incomparable Adele Disine. Yeah,
they're in it. Spoiler, it's not really a spoiler.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
They're in it.

Speaker 8 (21:51):
Those two see spoiler. He just rooted it for Chris.
Here's the thing. Everybody's read the book.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
They're not really are they?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
No, they're not. Maybe it was one of those like,
oh is he tricking me?

Speaker 8 (22:06):
Now? No multiverse things where they bring back all the
Spider Man's that's a funny scene. That's that's a good movie. Yeah, Yeah,
it's good. M. Would you sip through it again?

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (22:21):
I think we're gonna go again. We'll probably take my
sister because my sister will love it. So yeah, we'll
probably take my sister at some point. But yeah, it's
it's uh, it's good.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Yeah, I'm gonna take your dad see it? What movie?
It ain't gonna matter. He ain't gonna be able to
see the screen. Plus he's got eyes in the back
of his head.

Speaker 8 (22:43):
God, why do you take my dad the movie? Because
because you're in the dark.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Because he's into.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Tark Jerry Tarkanian, the former. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 8 (22:55):
I mean your dad did live through the tark era.
He's into Tark. Yeah, we've worked together way.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Likes when he bites on the towel. Whoa your dad?

Speaker 3 (23:11):
You're no? Well sometimes it hurts so good?

Speaker 2 (23:18):
My god, Oh my god, what happened?

Speaker 3 (23:22):
What happened? Look at this guy.

Speaker 8 (23:28):
Yeah, Craven the Hunter is gonna be horror like finest Ya.
This is this is the definition of they've they're just
making too many of these movies. It looks like it
looks like forty seven other movies. It basically is ms terrible.
You know, Tony has completely fumbled all of the Spider
Man properties, and they just don't.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
I mean, we saw what the Penguin.

Speaker 8 (23:51):
Cord make the villain movies, make them actually villains, and
I'm more compelled to continue to watch it. But they
try to make all these villains into here rows.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
And it just doesn't work.

Speaker 8 (24:02):
Oh, Craving the Hunter is a bad guy. Yeah, hideously
that he actually killed Spider Man in the comic book.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Is that right?

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, spoiler, that's a spoiler.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
I got some sequels I want to write, go ahead,
Craving the T words, my god, and the one is
just limited release. Craving the B word, which is some
just sometimes.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Not that.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
You guys, you need to take a deep brown. You
work too many days in a row. I'm sorry, I
got nothing left to say.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Craving the words.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Yeah, by the way, I'll come over. Thanks, give me.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Jesus turns a location filming for them.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
Scouting locations.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
God, I love it.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
I mean too, Steve Carell, I just want to say, grace.

Speaker 8 (25:14):
Relax, God, blessing. Front Page Sports is next. The Vikings
are nine and two. They are one of the best
teams in the NFC. They are not necessarily winning pretty
especially against these bad teams, but they just keep winning.

(25:36):
I said, it was a good example that a lot
of holes in that game, a lot of frustrating aspects
of the game, but they got it done.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
More of the power trip won don't you have to
miss on the fan.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Love's Bitter Blow by the Holy North local music parts
of Marshalls.

Speaker 8 (25:59):
Time now for front paid sports presented by Holiday Station Stores.
Holiday Station Stores get three Red Bulls for just six
fifty three for six fifty, Mix and match any Red
Bull flavors.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
You want those eight and a half ouncers.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
Hydrate and wake up a little bit, Go get something
to drink some Red Bull at Holiday?

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Let me Yeah, thanks, we're hot.

Speaker 8 (26:22):
Well, they'll be actually ice cold. That's the whole point.
I want them cold. I can't imagine you would want
Red Bull super hot, right, I think they put them
in the pretzel elevens if you have. I don't think
that they will, nor should they zact. I mean, I
know this is America. They technically are going to give
you the best customer service at Holiday that. I don't
believe they would put your Red Bulls in the pretzel

(26:43):
eleven Okay.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
Even if you ask you nicely?

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Yeah, what's wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (26:46):
My grims here? High microan, Hey, how we doing?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yeah Grimmer? What's up? Buddy? Doing great?

Speaker 2 (26:51):
How about you?

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Missed you last week when I was in Thursday. Yeah,
I heard that it was great.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
It was We had a party in here without her?

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Yeah, right right right, uh.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Hawk uh.

Speaker 8 (27:03):
Nine minutes ago, AJ said, that's the biggest spoiler of
them all.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
Yeah, I know. Now I'm depressed.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
I didn't know. I've never seen the play.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
How am I supposed to know? That's a cameo? That
can't I could tell you the biggest spoiler of the
whole thing. It's very early in the movie. And even
I caught it.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Took me a while. I got home, and I'm like, wait,
is a spoiler early in.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
The movie too?

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Which movie? Wicked? Yeah, it's very good. My kids went
to that. They said it was excellent. Is that right? Yes,
h they liked it.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Did you like it?

Speaker 2 (27:33):
You went, so, I loved it. Yeah, I thought it
was great.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
And he spoiled stuff already, he do, Well, everybody read
the book. Everybody read the book. Isn't it a book?

Speaker 2 (27:40):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Yeah, but you know what you did.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
You know what you did, and I forgive you. But
I didn't know it was a spoiler, So I apologize.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
You kind of said, that's kind of a spoiler.

Speaker 8 (27:52):
That is a spoiler, but but it doesn't like give
away the plot. It does what I already forget or
maybe it does. Okay, sorry he started to regret the game.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yeah, yeah, oh hey, how was that game for you,
Mike grim on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
Yeah, it was a heck of a game.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
It really sounded like it was.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
It was fun. Yeah, it was entertaining.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
You're in it.

Speaker 12 (28:17):
I mean we'd even talked when I was in here Thursday.
The goals got to be get to the fourth quarter
and be in it with a chance, and they were,
and then they just couldn't get a stop at the end,
although they did. I mean, Penn State was like one
for ten on third down, but they converted four fourth downs,
including three on the final drive and the fake punt.
That was a ballsy call, man, I'm telling you for

(28:39):
James Franklin to call that from what I don't remember where.
It was about the thirty five or forty yards like
his own up one. If you missed that, you missed
the playoffs, probably because Minnesota is going to win the game.

Speaker 8 (28:53):
But you got to tip your cap to him. He
would have gotten roasted too. But think of what they
say saw to be so confident. There must have been
something earlier in the game where they're like, this is
just ripe for the taking.

Speaker 12 (29:05):
They're never going to see those coming because the Gophers
had either used punt safe, which they didn't use in
this case, which which we'll have the PJ Flex show.
We'll get more into it, I'm sure tomorrow. But they
they went in for a punt return.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I believe it was.

Speaker 12 (29:21):
It was actually a little bit different look, so maybe
it was something they had seen in previous games. I
just think it was a fourth and two, I think right.
I just think they said we can make it and
we'll fool them. I don't know if the Gophers were fooled.
I mean, that's just two yards is two yards now
to get forty or whatever they got on it was
a little a little egregious. You have to you have

(29:42):
to stop them and still try to force a punt
you know later in the drive. So that was That
was the play of the game. There were a bunch
of other plays that mattered, but that was. I mean,
at that point, you thought, all right, they're gonna punt
golphers will get it back, they can get it into
dr gon Kessich's range kick a field goal walk off
win for the senior on Senior Day, and they never

(30:04):
got the ball back. But it was. It was an
entertaining game, heartbreaker to lose because you had it, right
to old age old question, would you rather just lose
forty two to ten and be done with it and
never have really invested your as a fan? I'm talking
now your heart and mind in it, or you're totally
bought in, like they can do this, like this is
going to happen.

Speaker 8 (30:23):
And then trapdoor falls and it's over the horrible pass
interference call. I don't know what they saw it called
back guy's from here too that made that call?

Speaker 2 (30:34):
What are you saying?

Speaker 3 (30:36):
I don't know what I'm saying. Was he supposed to
go to the US Bank Stadium instead that day?

Speaker 2 (30:41):
I will say this that actually I don't think they
would accept that either.

Speaker 12 (30:44):
It even yesterday's gave like we got to figure out
what interference is, right, I mean it, There's just no
there's just no way you can throw that flag unless
you don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Football ridiculous, like like what is he watching?

Speaker 12 (30:58):
There's nothing about the play that's interferce or it's first
of all, secondly, the ball's five yards out of bounds
like PJ.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Fleck could have caught the uncatchable What we what are
we doing well?

Speaker 12 (31:08):
I mean, what would make you even reach for the
flag there? Especially given all day Daniel Jackson's getting held.
There's one time you can see the replay, Daniel Jackson's
running down the field, He's got his hoodie, the dudes
holding him by the hoodie, the ref.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
You can see the ref just staring right at it.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
But we're gonna call throw a flag.

Speaker 12 (31:26):
And I'm not trying to suggest that cost the Gophers
if there's a conspiracy, but there's just incompetency. What what
how are we training these guys? It gets bad across
the board. They got to redo the whole, the whole deal.
It's just it's been terrible all year in the Big Ten,
it's been horrific all year in the NFL, and not
against any team in particular, just it's just been bad.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
What are we watching?

Speaker 10 (31:48):
It was a different type of bad call on Saturday,
because it's one thing if it's a you know, if
it's a quick play, bang bang, there's some contact here,
there's some contact there. You watch that replay and get
that at slow motion, I get that everything, but it's
still there's nothing there.

Speaker 5 (32:04):
There's nothing to call.

Speaker 9 (32:05):
So what would have to happen is that official had
to have seen it out of the corner of his
eye and just assumed that it was a fifteen yard penalty.
You can't give fifteen yards to a team because of
something you thought you saw.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
You better be damn sure, you better see that.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
Can't make making stuff.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
It's a joke. It's a damn joke. Yeah man.

Speaker 12 (32:29):
Anyway, Yeah, and that that eventually was a touchdown scoring
drive right before halftime, which was which was a factor
in the game.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
But to me, it's a bigger thing.

Speaker 12 (32:41):
And I'm sure if we watched and broke it down,
the Gophers were guilty of interference other plays and holding.
I saw Penn State fans saying the Gopher offensive line
held all the time.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Maybe they did.

Speaker 12 (32:51):
I don't watch that as the play's unfolding, so it's
all over. But those kind of calls, that's it. That's
a call like Penn State's not saying anything. You don't
throw a flag. There's just not interference. What do we
what are we injecting yourself in that play for? There's
nothing there. There's nothing even to see there. I don't
know what you could see to throw the flag.

Speaker 8 (33:10):
I'd like to address back to back tweets that Sauce
had on Saturday, Let's let's be a dome dog. No,
that was later Friday, Sauce. On Saturday, you tweeted coaching
not to get blown out? Isn't a good strategy?

Speaker 3 (33:24):
That was in the Notre Dame game.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
That wasn't that game, But it wasn't sub tweeting, don't
I don't subtweet. Boom never sub tweets.

Speaker 8 (33:36):
And then after that you said I'd rather be set
on fire than watch CMA Country Christmas. You have to
agree with me on that. I don't know what that is,
but it sounds awful. It's like a bunch of people
singing Christmas.

Speaker 12 (33:46):
Songs country country music artists. You'd rather be set on
fire than people want to watch Christmas song Christian year?

Speaker 11 (33:52):
Would you beg every year for Chris to play Christmas
tunes starting in about August?

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Do that to give him an erection? And you know
it's true?

Speaker 5 (34:02):
What you got to stop?

Speaker 3 (34:04):
It gives you action, it does, it does just trying
to get on his good side.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
No, why would you rather be set on fire?

Speaker 8 (34:10):
I will never do that all the time to us
that you don't have an erection right now? Yeah, don't please, don't.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
You say and do things all the time that you
don't mean just to be on his good side, and
it makes my heart hurt.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Okay, well if I can watch you. Did you tweet
that out just for Corey?

Speaker 5 (34:30):
Yeah you know you did, Yes, you did.

Speaker 8 (34:32):
No, I tweeted out because we saw the promo for
it about seventy times.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
You like Christmas, that's what you saying.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
But not that.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
Wood? Why was that the name that came to mind?
By the way, which one Trisha Yearwood? Like all the
name's doing it to me? Like I know the lineup, Chris,
I don't know. Yeah, you stand up?

Speaker 2 (34:59):
No, you know when you do?

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Is I in turn?

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Jesus wants to turn around.

Speaker 8 (35:09):
About a day ago you said about Daniel Jones reportedly
wanting to finish twenty twenty four with a playoff contender,
you tweeted he will be the Vikings quarterback by Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
May I phone a friend?

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Yeah, I get the phone.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
I mean, do you have one?

Speaker 8 (35:26):
The guy hockey? I don't know about win, but Hockey
feels the same way. Hockey thinks he should be on
the team as well. He will be the Vikings quarterback Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Now you're talking back up.

Speaker 8 (35:38):
I know.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
I think he'll be like the practice squad quarterback.

Speaker 8 (35:42):
I think he will be on this team because I
think that he looks around and has seen what Koc
has done for some of these other guys, and he
says to his agent, that's where I want to go.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
And if Sam Darnold's ankle is really bad, then he
gets a shot. I would love it if that were
the case.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Isn't Mullen's throwing on now?

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Yeah, he's two for two.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
It looks great.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
No, but I don't think he'll be the backup. I
think he'll be.

Speaker 8 (36:09):
I think he just wants to be on this time
unless there was an in how hello ros, But I mean,
he's going to be a free agent at the end
of the year anyway, So why would it matter just
to be in the room for a month and a half.
The foot at TCO is pretty good, pretty good gets it.
I don't know that's what I would I could.

Speaker 12 (36:28):
See it in the sense that and he's he wants
to go to somebody that's going to make the playoffs.
He's not going to be a starter anywhere, So do
it where might you have a chance somebody might get hurt.
I mean, he's not going to be the starter.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
Anywhere practice squad gets a ring, right, I mean, he
could start today in in Vegas if he wants to
actually play.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
She was going to be out right.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
He doesn't want to play on that but if he
wants to play, and it's not if he said playoffs,
that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (36:53):
That's that's why I don't get it.

Speaker 8 (36:54):
I mean, and that's cool that Daniel Jones wants it,
but there's a lot of playoff teams going, well, yeah,
but I don't think you're that good even if we
do have an injury to our starter. And the Raiders
are in tank mode for sure, but some put Desmond there.

Speaker 12 (37:09):
Some like the Vikings might say we're one quarterback injury
away from being out of it all together, where they
might feel better about Daniel Jones being a guy that
could come in.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Now. Jones hasn't been very good.

Speaker 8 (37:21):
But look, I'm not I'm not super pro Nick Mullins,
but we've all seen Daniel Jones play football.

Speaker 5 (37:27):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Because it's not good.

Speaker 12 (37:30):
Vikings in the playoffs that we got him paid but
got like one hundred and eighty million dollars for the guy.

Speaker 8 (37:35):
If if Sam Donald got hurt, I wouldn't be like, yes,
at least.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
They have Daniel Jones.

Speaker 12 (37:40):
Daniel Jones, they're like the Jets. It's almost like a
Donald situation. I mean, the Giants are a total disaster.
They're horrible.

Speaker 8 (37:50):
But I think if Daniel Jones signs after three o'clock today,
because that's when he's going to be a free agent,
when he clears waivers after three o'clock today, if he
signed to the Vikings, I'm completely different to it because
I don't think it changes anything. If he wants to
be here, great, I don't think it changes our chances
in a positive way or a negative way.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
One did.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Let me let me ask you this way. If if
something happens in the middle of the second quarter in
a very important game to Donald, who would you rather
walk into the game.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
That's what I'm saying. I don't think it matters. Really,
Daniel Jones is not good.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
He's not good. I'm not saying Mullens is. But I
think we'd be screwed either way. I said that about
Sam Darnold four months ago.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Very true.

Speaker 8 (38:31):
But again, Daniel Jones is gonna is gonna chaos. He's
going to inject something in Daniel Jones within twenty four hours,
twenty four hours in a week or too nice. Look
if Daniel, like I said first, if Jones walks in
today and signs with the Vikings, fine with it. Yeah,
it doesn't change anything, but sure why not? I mean
if he wants to hang out for a month and

(38:51):
a half and you get lunch with Kaos's going to
be there.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
I don't want to spoil it for you.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Oh sorry.

Speaker 8 (39:01):
I'd rather watch c M A Country Christmas and have
Daniel Jones signed with the Vikings.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Here it is again set himself on fire.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
Yeah, God, that'd be great.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
I mean I imagine that you could, like the put
you up near the equator and melt the ice caps.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
Wow. I just think it's weird.

Speaker 8 (39:21):
But it's like everybody the universal Everybody's like Daniel Jones sucks.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
And then you hear a couple of rumors he might
want to be the Vikings.

Speaker 5 (39:28):
Backup. God, I'd take a flyer on Daniel Jones.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
It'd be great four hours having me all the time
with Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Ko is good at things, just a much better situation.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
That's exactly what Darnald walked into.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
That's right, he's a quarterback whisper.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Well, when you're singing your whispers into their ear through.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
That head, you think you don't I love it?

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Uh, groomer, you want to stick around for a little bit.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Actually heard you. You dropped it in when the game
was on the line. I'm here for you, yung geez.

Speaker 8 (40:01):
You put it right when it mattered, not not a
first quarter just throw away you. You got in there,
and of course Daryl didn't disappoint. It made me lost beauty.

Speaker 6 (40:09):
More of the power for this on the fan. Okay,
what I've ever bought?

Speaker 3 (40:28):
It's part of morning show. Okay, here's what's going on now.
My grim's over there. Hello, he's your voice of all
Golden Gofer sports except for a couple.

Speaker 8 (40:37):
Well, there's twenty three of them, and you do twenty
I do. What's your least favorite of the twenty three?
Oh man, that's who's gotta go.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
I don't. I'm a believer.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
Women's fencing.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
That would be one. I would definitely cut women's fence.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
I like to watch ladies put up fences.

Speaker 12 (40:53):
Wow, that would be a good sport. How fast can
you fence in my backyard to take it breath. We
derailed a little during that break.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
We did not no, you did?

Speaker 4 (41:07):
You did? You did?

Speaker 3 (41:08):
What was it pertain Damian Woody, Just go ahead and
say it. Yeah, yet I do like I'm practical double
dog Dare you to say it?

Speaker 2 (41:22):
What are you showing me? He's going to text. He's
gonna type on a notepad.

Speaker 13 (41:27):
Now.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Whatever he's texting.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Wants not true.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
And you know that he's just trying to give you
a good Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Has that thing gone down your court?

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Let me let me let me see it? Are you
saying yes in Spanish? Oh my goodness, what are you
talking about? I never said that. I never said it.

Speaker 5 (41:50):
I never said that. You don't need to read it.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
He's got my back. So no, Max Maxo, did he
say it? I never said it.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
This is the first time I might not be able
to have to back.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
You guys want to hear Grim's liners.

Speaker 4 (42:06):
Sure.

Speaker 8 (42:06):
So on Saturday, the Govers lost number four Penn State
twenty six to twenty five Minnesota just six points in
the second half. Penn State, though Ty Burrell from Modern Family,
he plays Phil Dumphy went to Penn State. I think
as like a graduate student or something. But he was
a Penn State person at some point. So we gave

(42:27):
you a modern family line. And like I said in
the previous segment, you didn't throw it away in the
first quarter. You waited until the game was on the line, yes,
and then you dropped it in. And again Darryl did
not disappoint. I'm pretty sure he walked right into the trap.

Speaker 5 (42:44):
Pretty sure. Field goal makes it a four point game.

Speaker 12 (42:46):
It means if your Penn State, you will not lose
on a field goal.

Speaker 6 (42:51):
What do you think, DG, what's James Franklin going to
do here?

Speaker 5 (42:53):
I think if I was James Frankston Franklin, I would
kick a field goal in this situation. Well, they're going
to set the offense out.

Speaker 12 (43:01):
As they say, success is one percent inspiration, ninety eight
percent perspiration, and two percent attention to detail.

Speaker 5 (43:11):
Exactly, He's what it is. Exactly, That's what it is.

Speaker 12 (43:17):
They go up with the muddle huddle quarterback sailor and
he has.

Speaker 5 (43:22):
The first he got nice job.

Speaker 6 (43:25):
Do you believe that he got the joke or not
or was he not listening?

Speaker 5 (43:28):
I think he just thought it was a lie there.

Speaker 12 (43:30):
I don't think in fact, there was a few people
in the booth, and I don't think any of them
understood it was one hundred and one percent.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
I don't think any of them.

Speaker 8 (43:37):
Got so, including Daryl, because he seemed very convinced that's
exactly what that is.

Speaker 12 (43:42):
And then I had a guy tweet at me a
good job on one hundred and two percent, So I
don't know if he was trying to be funny or
if that.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Guy's math was terrible. Sure, yeah, good job, well done.
That was right in there, got it in there is
the price you agreed to that had long one. I
agreed to it because I thought it'd be easy Chris, Yeah,
And were you right? It wasn't too It wasn't too hard.
It would have been the only thing that would have
been better is if Darryl would have been would have

(44:10):
been amazing.

Speaker 5 (44:10):
Just completely missed the point.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
The starting out is this supposed to snow?

Speaker 3 (44:17):
It says, uh, leave earlier on Monday. Oh, is this
for afternoon?

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Winter weather advisories in effect for northern Minnesota. We're up
to seven inches snow could fall along north shore.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
Weather's like today and to night.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
Yeah. Weather officials say that between two and five inches
of snow will be widespread in northeastern northern Minnesota. Snow
started Sunday the night, tapering off Monday, highst Mountains north.
Blah blah blah about Twin Cities out, Yeah, snow will
be lighter further south. But the National Weather Services morning
that the morning commute could be a nightmare in the
Twin Cities. And don't look like it's snow.

Speaker 12 (44:48):
I thought I did see ah a snowplow type of deal.
So I wonder if they're pre treating someplace, or maybe
they thought it was supposed to end in this morning. Yeah,
oh anywhere there you go.

Speaker 5 (44:59):
Damn it.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
I'd like a little bit of winter.

Speaker 8 (45:01):
I guess my days getting plowed this morning. But oh yeah,
I guess. I don't know if it's like practice or something.
I don't know what's getting plowed this morning. Well, my
wife said that we had to get to our house
plowed this morning. But I was like, I hadn't heard
the weather, so I thought maybe it was supposed to
snow during the show or something.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
I didn't understand. I didn't know Randy offered those services.
I don't know. He's a jack of all trades.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Got a nice plow.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
You can do anything. I've heard yet.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
The Vikings they won. Did you see a grimmer?

Speaker 2 (45:32):
I watched the entire game.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
Did you say t J. Hockinson go off at the
end of the game. I did.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
It was fantast huge in overtime.

Speaker 5 (45:38):
Here's hot.

Speaker 13 (45:38):
We have a lot of firepower in this offense. But
Jets is obviously the top. I mean, Jets takes coverage
from us to let us be able to do our jobs.
And you know, I mean he may have had a
down day, but that's not like we didn't have up days.
You know, we we just did our jobs because they
were taking coverage from him.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Yeah, yeah, no question, right man.

Speaker 5 (45:59):
You can't believe it.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
I don't know if I'm sure they do on the television,
but to watch it from the booth and to see
him double covered and sometimes triple covered all the time,
and there was a there was one of the long
place to Addison where that's the one where he was
getting tackled while he caught it with no flag. I'm
telling you it's unbelieved. It is crazy. It is, Yeah, like,
what are these guys watch?

Speaker 11 (46:17):
I mean, he caught it, but that flags told us
to come out in case he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
Dude, getting tackled well past the sideline.

Speaker 5 (46:24):
Yeah, Brandon Powell hit Live live.

Speaker 8 (46:27):
I'm yelled, I yelled, Okay, that'll be a flag yep,
And then I wasn't and I know our guy tweeted
it out. But how about on the overtime sack of
Caleb Williams Jonathan Grenard clear his day getting held by
two bears.

Speaker 3 (46:39):
Caleb Williams holds onto the ball for an hour and
a half.

Speaker 8 (46:43):
So Grenard gets out of the two man hold and
then saxon and is so annoyed that the flag didn't
come out. No sack dance, no celebration, just like a
sigh of relief, Like, really, guys, there's no flag there.
There's two guys holding me.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Wait, hockey.

Speaker 12 (46:58):
There's a cut of that in there if you want
ben from Gernard about it. Oh yeah, yeah it was.
And then the clearest in the game the hold in
the end zone where Harrison Phillips and the ref follows
the hold.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
He's not watching. The quarterback just watches it and.

Speaker 5 (47:13):
Hi, guys, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
just walking in and hearing you guys are wait, Gernard
thought he was being held on that sack.

Speaker 8 (47:23):
But pretty sure. How could he not he got held
by two guys. You didn't think so, not at all?
Oh my gosh, I thought he was absolutely held by
both he could.

Speaker 5 (47:32):
There's two guys, there's four hands just posting him up
like he was trying to get in between them. That
was that was a hold, I thought his So did
he actually comment about that?

Speaker 3 (47:42):
Let's find out.

Speaker 5 (47:43):
I got it right here?

Speaker 3 (47:43):
Hold on, uh right, I think this is it. I
don't know how I got there. Number one.

Speaker 14 (47:49):
I had like two people on me but at the
same time, just like ripping through and they were holding me,
and I'm gonna say, the hold.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
It really blocking the hell out of me.

Speaker 14 (47:55):
But somehow I got through there and he still had
the ball and at that point was I got to
make the play. So he's the younger guy, I mean,
he has all the armsound where probably one of the
most young time quarterbacks out of saying honestly, and I'll
give that to my hat to him, mom. But yeah,
of course he wants to go for the game winner
and wants to end it all, make it play on
his feet.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
But they've not got there.

Speaker 8 (48:10):
Man.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Well he can he can stay holding without getting fined.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Correct. I really think that he I really think that
he realizes he wasn't being held. I think he was
to me. I think that he was more surprised how
long he was holding on Caleb was holding on the football,
and that he was like, I can't believe I actually
just got that sack, Like I have no business getting
that sack right there, Like I was got posted up

(48:35):
by two dudes in easy now and and and he
it looked like he sort of gave up on the play,
thinking the ball is going to be thrown, and then
he just kind of like fought through it. And I
think the lineman even sort of let him go because
it was like, oh my gosh, this is like ten seconds.
We're holding this guy here forever, and then he gets
the sack. I took that as more of like his

(48:56):
reaction on the field is like really, well, we get to.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Ask him tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (49:00):
That's the best part about having him on every week
is we can ask him exactly that. Such a good dude.

Speaker 12 (49:04):
He's the best anyway hockey. We got you sidetracked. You
were going to say something about Addison and the coverage
of j.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
Yeah, well then and I were talking about it quite
a bit. JJ is it's everything you hear is. It's
not hyperbole. And I believe Koc said it with PA
last week. The kind of coverage JJ is getting, I've
never seen it. And maybe one hundred and sixty yards
yet or whatever yesterday from Addison. Will relieve that a
little bit. But JJ is double covered all the time.

(49:31):
The coverage is unbelievable. And the thing that I set
it off the air to you, but I don't remember
if we said it on the air. One of the
things that made me feel better was that we didn't
force the ball to JJ over and over and over
again yesterday. Instead we threw at other places.

Speaker 8 (49:46):
I mean, even that Hawk, even that touchdown that they
had to Naylor, there are two guys bracketing him in
like a seven yard in the an.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
But yeah, right, I wouldn't call it ye.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
Jalen Johnson was one of them.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
That was Johnson. But I don't believe that that was
a bad sack to take.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
That was a horrible The overtime one.

Speaker 5 (50:06):
We're watching right now, that was a horrible What is
this the stopwatch on this thing?

Speaker 3 (50:12):
It is? I think they said eleven it's got to
be ten plus.

Speaker 12 (50:17):
He's he's down at nine oh five and the snap
was it, uh, let's look here again nine ten seconds
from there.

Speaker 8 (50:24):
Jeez, Ben Lieber is here. The Vikings won in overtime
thirty to twenty seven. A lot of things they would
discussed and analyze with Ben between now and the end
of the show.

Speaker 6 (50:35):
This is the Power Trip Morning show on the Fang.

Speaker 8 (50:53):
Joined the Power Trips Zach Halverson on Wednesday the twenty

Speaker 5 (51:09):
Speaking of the.

Speaker 8 (51:10):
Wild, before we get back into Vikings News and break
that game down and do what really matters with Ben Lieber,
how about the Wild News. First Wild the hosting Winnipeg
tonight at seven o'clock and Wild News presented by Catalysts
Supply and Catalystsupply Code dot Com. Thanks Catalyst, by the way,
they were the Catalyst was here Friday. Those cinnamon rolls
and stuff. Holy cow right, like it's his wife's bakes

(51:31):
free or something. Man, those were unbelievable. Thanks catalyst. Minnesota
lost four to three in a shootout to Calgary on Saturday,
but Faber and Rossi scored late to force over overtime
to at least secure one point the Wild. They're now
thirteen three and four. Winnipeg has the best record in
the NHL at seventeen and four, but Zachary, with just

(51:52):
twenty games played, the Wild have the second best record
in the National Hockey League.

Speaker 3 (51:56):
Yeah, how about that?

Speaker 9 (51:58):
And by the way, Tom Reid no supper naming Matt
Boldie the catalyst of the game on Saturday, I wouldn't
doubt that he's.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
A catalyst of the game tonight as well. He has
stepped up.

Speaker 9 (52:08):
I remember, you know, when we heard the news of
Caprizov not playing, it's like, well, you don't really have that.

Speaker 10 (52:14):
I mean, obviously you want him out there, but Boldie
stepped up so well. So, you know, disappointing that they
didn't get to win, but about as big of a
moral victory as you can without Zukerrella, without caprice Off.
On Saturday, they got a point, they got five or
six on a very tough road trip. They're back home
the night before a ship break, back off to the to.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
The road again.

Speaker 3 (52:35):
But what a game tonight.

Speaker 10 (52:36):
Who would have thought a Monday night game would be
in in what November would be such a big deal.

Speaker 8 (52:42):
But you know they don't have a road game in
twenty twenty five. They have all of them before the
first of the year. Wow, yeah, it's gonna be a name. Whoops,
hold on a second, to my this may dismay and
to my idiocy, and it's this is this is on

(53:04):
me as well. But if you go to like, let's
say you're on ESPN dot com, right, and you go,
let's see here, let's go to scores here. Ye, let's
scroll down here and uh let's find good old Notre Dame.
Okayme boy, go to Notre Dame zacho on their website.
What does this say? That's their schedule and what does

(53:28):
it look like? A lot of green, A lot of
no on this side? Oh, a lot of versus. So
that means they're at home?

Speaker 12 (53:36):
Right?

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Do you see an asterisk anywhere?

Speaker 9 (53:40):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (53:43):
No, I don't so when I thought.

Speaker 8 (53:48):
So, when I looked at the schedule and said Notre
Dame plays eight straight home games. To the look of
it on ESPN dot com, it does look like they
are playing eight straight home games. Your darned touting that's.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
It, are they not?

Speaker 13 (54:03):
No?

Speaker 8 (54:04):
They play it like notre Day or excuse me, like
I think they play a Yankee stadium.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 5 (54:09):
Yeah, yeah, they played Yankee Stadium Saturday.

Speaker 8 (54:11):
So they play a lot of like which look dumb
by the way, neutral central sites.

Speaker 5 (54:16):
I don't get it, but whatever, Oh so you're oh,
I got it, So you were so you were wrong
about this. I was wrong, Okay, but it.

Speaker 10 (54:25):
Looks like on yes, they're all in home got yeah
in Northwestern play like regally or something.

Speaker 2 (54:31):
Yeah, you know, we got like football purpose built stadiums
now right. I don't get it.

Speaker 5 (54:38):
I guess I think we should do that more often.
I think I think sauce, you should start a thought
a pause, and then we should do meat sauce, mad libs,
and then we all just like interject what we think
that the next word is going to be.

Speaker 6 (54:51):
That's a fantastic idea, give us an example.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Start that thought.

Speaker 5 (54:55):
Start because I had no idea when I when you
said whatever you said, I said dismay that that was
actually the word that you're looking the type of word
you're looking for, right, Yeah, so one point for me.

Speaker 8 (55:06):
Then he followed it with to my idiocy, we'll call
it finish him. Wow, saw start a sentence, Hello, Corey,
That's an entire sentence. That was the complete sentence.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
All right? How hi going on?

Speaker 8 (55:24):
Hell?

Speaker 4 (55:25):
How a man?

Speaker 3 (55:26):
Where?

Speaker 8 (55:28):
How?

Speaker 3 (55:28):
Where is that working?

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Jeeze? Like rough start?

Speaker 3 (55:32):
Where are.

Speaker 5 (55:35):
I think he doesn't get that?

Speaker 3 (55:37):
I think we have did this?

Speaker 5 (55:37):
Do this more organically? Yep, he doesn't get it?

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Sorry? Did all right?

Speaker 8 (55:42):
At least do what really matters scores and stats around
the world of sports and between crystal change your life.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
With something else. That's what really matters, right, Benjamin.

Speaker 8 (55:51):
The Minnesota Vikings one, despite giving up eleven points in
the final twenty two seconds to force overtime, Chicago gets
a touchdown, a two point converted on sidekick, a deep
pass sets up for a game tying field goal. They
get it, and then they even win the coin toss.
It looked like for a second there everything that could

(56:11):
go wrong was going to go wrong. It was Murphy's
Law times one thousand. Yeah, the Bears were going to
come back. And snap this losing street. But instead, as
we talked about, Caleb Williams held onto the ball for
an hour and a half, Grenard sacked him. They end
up having to punt and the Vikings march down thanks
to t J. Hockinson and Sam Darnold and set up
John Parker Romo for a chip shot field goal and

(56:33):
he bangs her through in the Vikings win thirty to
twenty seven.

Speaker 5 (56:37):
Yeah, I have a question for you the next on
the next next go around, I have a question for
you specifically.

Speaker 8 (56:45):
I wonder if it's exactly what I have written down
at the bottom. Since you say it's aimed at me,
I wonder if my note is the same as your note.

Speaker 3 (56:53):
Well, do you just want to talk about it?

Speaker 11 (56:54):
Now?

Speaker 8 (56:55):
Go for it?

Speaker 3 (56:55):
Let me see if we have the exact same thing. Yeah,
I have a little star.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
He just.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
How well you know me?

Speaker 5 (57:04):
I'm just let's see how well can I can?

Speaker 3 (57:06):
I ask you to get into your thoughts before you
even say what it is?

Speaker 5 (57:08):
Can I ask?

Speaker 8 (57:10):
This is not hindsight at all. I made this thought
in my own brain the moment this thing was happening. Yeah, same,
are we going the same direction? I think?

Speaker 5 (57:21):
So?

Speaker 13 (57:21):
Go for it.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
What was Eberflus doing going for two?

Speaker 9 (57:27):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (57:27):
Then no, because that's the exact right play, going for
two on the first touchdowns of the right play.

Speaker 5 (57:32):
When you're talking when they when they when they were
when they scored, and it was twenty four to sixteen, hm,
twenty four to sixteen, fourth quarter, he opts to go.

Speaker 3 (57:42):
For two.

Speaker 5 (57:44):
Down eight, He could have just kicked the extra point
down seven down a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Yep.

Speaker 8 (57:50):
So going for two is correct? Because then why is
that correct? Because then if you score again, the extra
point wins it. You're not trying to get to overtime.
You don't want to get to overtime. You want to win.
If you're going to come back from fourteen down, the
goal is to win in regulation, not force overtime.

Speaker 6 (58:07):
Statistically that he did absolutely did the right thing.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Is that right? Yeap?

Speaker 5 (58:11):
You and I have something else? Can I tell you
my game theory complaints?

Speaker 3 (58:14):
Sure?

Speaker 8 (58:16):
So the Vikings are marching down with a couple minutes
to go. They had about a five minute drive late
in the fourth and this is when it's twenty four
to sixteen. As you just mentioned, the Vikings had an
eight point lead fourth and one The Bears had used
all of their timeouts. The two minute warning hits. Then
I think they tried to just get the Bears to jump.

(58:37):
They quickly realized the Bears weren't going to jump, so
koc calls a time out yep, and.

Speaker 6 (58:44):
The Vikings kick the field goal to go up eleven.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Correct.

Speaker 8 (58:48):
Now, I know it's really easy to say, well, yeah,
you made it a two possession game. That's a no
brainer's fourth and one from the seven. Now if you
had given it now it's a two possession game with
under two minutes to go, the Bears have any timeouts,
they have to go all the way down the field,
score a touchdown, get a two point con version, get
an on sidekick, which is statistically so impossible, right, I
believe it was the first one that's been completed all year.

(59:10):
It is.

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Then you have to get a field goal.

Speaker 8 (59:11):
It's so unlikely that they score eleven points in the
final two minutes, very true, very very very difficult. So
even though the Bears did exactly what I just said,
it is extremely difficult to do what they did right,
super unlikely. So kicking the field goal there and going
up eleven, it's not the end of the world, it's
very difficult to win. However, you get a half a

(59:33):
yard if you go for it on fourth and one,
there the game's over. That's the kill shot. The kill
shot is not the field goal. The kill shot is
the first down and ending the game. Because I would
also argue, let's say you go for it and you
don't get it right, because the two minute warning's already gone,
the three timeouts have already been used. They still have

(59:55):
to go ninety three yards and get a touchdown and
get the two point conversion, just a tie, and then
you would get the ball back and have a chance
to win. I actually wanted Koc to just go for
it on fourth and one, up eight and just end
it by getting that half a yard or yard that
they had left to go. So I would disagree s

(01:00:15):
either way is fine. I just prefer him going for
the kill and getting the half.

Speaker 5 (01:00:20):
So this is I'll put this in context with an
actual number probability. So after after the game, uh Tatum
Everett showed me some sort of post from some analytics
NFL analytics deal. At that point in time, the Vikings
win probability was ninety nine point nine percent.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
When they kicked the.

Speaker 8 (01:00:46):
Sure for everything I just said, right, no timeouts, arena
warnings in the rear view mirror, all that, for.

Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Everything that you just said on side kick probability right disaster, Yes,
So I guess what you What we're talking about here
is the different between a ninety nine point nine percent
win probability to one hundred percent win probability. So I
guess I don't. I don't look at it as like
you know, you really are splitting hairs on the.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Very splitting hairs.

Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
Correct, So in this in this situation, i'm if I'm
koc you quickly justike you said, add up all of
the probability going against our defense with all of these
things on side kick, maybe that maybe the biggest differentiator
just because it hasn't been done this season. You're asking
the team to do something that hasn't been done all

(01:01:34):
season long. To be successful at it, I would say,
kick the field goal, go up by eleven, go up
by two scorers.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
You're good to go.

Speaker 5 (01:01:42):
Because in Chicago gets the ball right, because I think
when they got the ball back with possessions like one
forty seven on the clock, So you're you're under way
under two minutes and you've got to go down score
twice with a two point conversion and on side kick.

Speaker 8 (01:01:55):
Totally agree, absolutely splitting hairs. I'm just saying, if that's me,
I say, let's get the Especially Aaron Jones on that
drive had been maybe the most dynamic he had been
all game. He had a bunch of really good runs.
Couldn't stop him. You get a half a yard and
then the ability for Chicago to counter is zero. Instead
of giving them even though it's a one in a
bazillion chance of doing what they did, it's it is

(01:02:17):
kind of crazy that everything that they needed to do
they did fantastic for Caleb. Again, this is one of
those games eber Flus and his entire staff is probably
going to get fired at the end of the year.
See I don't know, man, I they didn't quit, they
but this is this is still even in a loss.
This was a monster step forward for Caleb.

Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Last these last two.

Speaker 5 (01:02:38):
And I would right now, I have no problem right
now if we've turned this whole segment into just praise
for Caleb Williams, because I think that he deserves it.
I really do.

Speaker 8 (01:02:48):
I mean, how about on fourth all those like scrambles,
like big time throws. He didn't seem to get flustered
by a floor. As defense, he put up a billion
yards against US, yes.

Speaker 5 (01:02:58):
The last two weeks with his new offensive coordinator, and
you and you could look at some of the air
yards and well there was a lot of quick throws
out to like DJ Moore, like that's fine, that's but
that's winning football, you know. So his his progression as
a down the field passer, it's still getting there. But

(01:03:18):
the rhythm that he finds, the decisiveness and like understanding
where he's supposed to go with the football, when he's
supposed to go to the football, and his play his
flat out play making ability, whether he scrambled around the
in the in the pocket, in the backfield, creating plays.
That play where he floated out to the right early
in the game and floated it over to Deandre's Uh yeah,
Dendrew Swift was a ridiculous pass. And and I just

(01:03:43):
want everybody, if you only saw the the you only
heard the radio version of that, you need to go
back and watch how beautiful of a play that was.
That was a completely uh intentional touch pass that was
lofted over our defender and he caught it. Over his
shoulder endstride. It was I'm telling you, it was a
thing of beauty that I think only a few quarterbacks

(01:04:06):
can pull off as they're scrambling and running to the right.
I think the guy has that special quality and special
gene to him. And I'm hoping I don't know why
I'm hoping this. I just out of like personal I
don't like to see guys get fired. But Iberflus's defense
is a talented defense. They're really good, They're really well coached.

(01:04:29):
And if this offensive coordinator really is onto something, they
fix a few things in their offensive line, they get
a few guys like healthy. Next year, this team is
going to be a formidable team, a legit a legit
contender for the division based on what we've seen today
or yesterday.

Speaker 8 (01:04:46):
How about Also, this is another reminder, and this is
probably the one thousandth reminder for all of us to
not have snap judgments about young quarterbacks, because about a
month ago, it looked like Bonix was going to be
a disaster.

Speaker 6 (01:04:59):
Now he's trending unbelievably solidly.

Speaker 8 (01:05:02):
Right, Bonix is playing great football leader for half Offensive
Player of the Year. Right, and Jayden Daniels are still good,
but Jaden is not as dynamic as he was a
month ago. Bryce Young, even though they continue to lose
a year and a half in Bryce starts to show
signs of life when even a month ago it looked
like he was one of the worst number one overall
picks of all time. No, he still might not be

(01:05:23):
ever great or worthy of the number one pick, but
he's starting to play pretty good football. Even a month ago,
like Caleb looked like he was a disaster, and then
he's just gone four weeks without throwing a touchdown until
he played the Vikings. But if they're doing these specials
on sport not special segments on Sports Center, Like if
we redrafted the quarterbacks, some of them would have Caleb

(01:05:44):
third or fourth quarterback drafted, right, And now you watch
them yesterday and you go.

Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Are you sure you'd rather have BONEX than this guy?

Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
I don't know you sure about you?

Speaker 8 (01:05:54):
Sure about that? Tim Robinson, I think Caleb looks like
he's got everything. I just think he needs a little
more time.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
He looks.

Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
I agree, And and Sausa and I were talking as
as on the TV they're playing some of the highlights
of Baker Mayfield I've I've always loved Baker Mayfield's just
like football ism.

Speaker 3 (01:06:12):
You know, he is just a football player. But he's
a prime example too.

Speaker 8 (01:06:17):
Now.

Speaker 5 (01:06:17):
He had to he had to go through a lot
of like turmoil and turnover and all this other stuff,
and it took him a while to really establish himself
and a change of scenior, a lot of stuff. But
he'sn't He's yet another example of when you find a
talented quarterback and it sometimes it's just it's maturity. They're
just not mature enough to be the leader that they

(01:06:39):
need to be and to be the guy that the
organization needs going to be. And sometimes it's just fit.
You know, it's personality, it's it's the fit with the
offensive coordinator, finding the right the right system, all of
that stuff. We're looking at it right now with Sam Donald.
You know, Sam Donald's going to play himself into probably
a nice three year contract. Possibly maybe he goes back

(01:06:59):
to Los Angeles in place for the Rams and they
just shed Stafford's gigantic contract and they give him something
that's half of that and he gets back into the
same system that he's in, uh right now. But you know,
Saus and I were just kind of marveling at what
Baker Mayfield's done, you know, in his career, and a
lot of people want to throw him out.

Speaker 8 (01:07:17):
Baker Mayfield has always had the moxie and the confidence.
It's just finding the right family and he's founded in Tampa.
He is their leader and they love him. They let
him be who he is. And that's exactly what Cleveland
didn't do. We're talking, you know, he does too many commercials,
there's too many antics. But in Tampa, they just let
him be Baker and he is outstanding and they are
devastated offensively by injury, and he's very and he's got

(01:07:41):
you know, Bucky Irvin, Irving is very good to.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Get that run.

Speaker 5 (01:07:44):
Yeah, I think about all the Yeah, think of all
all the injuries and stuff that they've had to deal with.
But yeah, and and and again. Not to sit there
and just glaze over and glaze on Baker Mayfield. But
he's he's another guy that when you you may not
like his antics on the field, but behind the scenes,
one of the most charitable players out there, like always

(01:08:06):
taking care of people in or in the community that
he's in. I don't know, always been a big fan
and I'm happy that he's kind of getting his due.
You know, in Tampa Bay.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
When that when that kid did that spin move for
the Cowboys return, Have you ever seen anybody accelerate like
that outside of a tesla? How about how about how
that game at halftime was three three When he makes
that spin move and then goes full speed, It's unbelievable.
It's zero to sixty and three seconds.

Speaker 5 (01:08:34):
Well, I think he does have true like Olympic speed.

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
It looked like it on that return for sure.

Speaker 8 (01:08:41):
Then they ran back the other one later when they
tried to get the on side kicked, Cowboys ran back
two kicks in the fourth court.

Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
Inge weekend for special teams all the way around.

Speaker 6 (01:08:49):
Yeah, all right, more with Van Lever and the rest
