Glad to be back. How's that go?

Speaker 9 (03:03):
I don't know why this microphone was facing all the
way over there.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
That was nuts. What are they doing this place?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I don't know, man, I just did the uh the
iPhone update just now. Yeah, it's like they changed, like
I bought a new phone. I didn't recognize my phone anymore.
I hate when they do that.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Which one do you have? iPhone? Which iPhone? This one
right here?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Yeah, that one's Yeah. Didn't you have the eleven for
a while? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
I don't remember which one?

Speaker 7 (03:33):
This is?

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Bro, how do I know I'm going to settings here?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
I think you just do that, says I have this one.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
That's a good one, though, you got the right one, Biba,
we'll play it.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
I don't recognize my phone.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Well, like what happened new apps? Like like the new interface.
You have a picture of Aba gabba. Yeah it's gone.
Oh that shouldn't change. Yeah, that shouldn't all.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
The all the buttons are bigger, like like it knows
how old I am?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Ask you a question?

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Certainly?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Have you been to any CD websites in the last
twenty four hours?

Speaker 5 (04:09):
I went to CD Lamb's website.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, well played.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
I have an iPhone fourteen Pro, yeah, which is cool.
I used to have an iPhone fourteen amateur.

Speaker 9 (04:21):
Yeah, which you're into though, I am. Yeah, I thought
your phone worked. It sass off and I'm the ladder
and now I'll look at it now.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
I almost bought the iPhone pro PhD.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, and what happened.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I couldn't afford it.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, couldn't afford it. Well, then you got to wait
like eight years for that or something. Yeah, so they
tell me, Yeah, I think Parker Fox has that phone
speA of that.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Spear of that.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
So it's you know, the Power Trip Survivor. Yeah, is
down to just Parker and I.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
How about that?

Speaker 5 (04:54):
And I positive the idea.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Of he and I just splitting the splitting the thirteen
hundred bucks. Yeah, you know, so I got money and
he got money, and he was he was he was
good with it, and I think it's a good idea.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
But the listeners just went Craig Cray.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Oh really some of them, not all of them.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Some of them didn't like, most of them didn't probably
like I would guess there's seven hundred million people listening
to us right now, and five of them went Craig Cray.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah that sounds about right.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Yeah, yeah, but uh, I mean the difference between thirteen
hundred bucks and six hundred and fifty bucks.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, it's fine. Yeah, the difference street three hundred bucks
and zero bucks is.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Huge, huge. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I mean there was a moment yesterday where I texted
Power Trip Bettes and I said, I know, I don't
know how I forgot to pick. I was gonna take
Tampa anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered, were you really? Yeah,
because they were playing the awful Saints. But my god,
is Tampa falling apart?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Anyway? I said, if the both these games.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Go the wrong way, I backdoor into winning, and he goes, well, yeah,
because you technically lost in Week fourteen like every one else.
And then Joe Burrow throws two interceptions on consecutive.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Plays, So I can't believe that. What a game?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yesterday's football was outstanding? Yeah, including our team.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Including our team?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
How about that you gave up on him? I did?
What do you think?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Now we have to say to the steps he made
yesterday were great?

Speaker 4 (06:22):
How about you before you stop? Yeah, before you start.
He's listening right now. Okay, yes he is. He's on
his way in what Yeah, he's on his way. So
I want you to think about what you're gonna say
before you say it.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
I think the only thing I would say is I
would just like to see consistency. I'd like to see
it carry over, and it should because the Cowboys defense
is horrible, just like the Commander's defense. But some of
those throws he made on third down were unbelievable. That
whatever nineteen play ninety eight yard drive was the most

(06:57):
they have looked like a full team in a long time.
And yeah, he was great. He didn't put himself in
any dumb situations.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
He didn't like to say that you are.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Well, I'm not wrong yet. I'm not wrong yet.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
It's that chair.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
I don't know if it's the chair. But I just
want to see consistency. That's all I want to see.
And I think he can do it next week and
then they play the Giants a week after, which are
also hideous. I just want to see consistency. And I
think everybody else does? Am I wrong? Just anybody?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Well?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I mean it's just me and Zach here. Yeah, I
mean there are people listening and they're probably answering you.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Well, they're more mad about you wanting to split the
pot with Parker.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I like to smoke doobies.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
No, no, no, no. The money.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Do people call it doobies?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I mean maybe the Doobie Brothers, but I don't know
a lot of people who say smoke doobies.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Listen, the Gophers are going to an inappropriate name.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Bowl Notre Dame. Took their ball and went home.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Yeah. Yeah, And J. J. McCartney had a fantastic game.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Paul's son looked like it's uh Jesse McCartney.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Oh, it looks like it's gonna be the real deal.
But he can't do enough to please you.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
No, he can. I thought he was great. I did.
Do you have hope?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
I have hope, Yes, we just we can't see just
one game of it.

Speaker 9 (08:30):
Well, I mean we saw We've seen more than just
one game. We had a.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Big road win against all Right, calm down, buddy, the
Lions road win.

Speaker 9 (08:44):
No, get him, get him, he's just he's We need
to see exactly what we wanted to see, which is progress.
And we finally got the progress. And hopefully that I
can continue. He still might stumble once or twice before
the end of the year. But there was a glimmer,

(09:07):
more than a glimmer, a shining light of hope. On Sunday,
US Bank Stadium, and I think I think we might have.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Like I said on Twitter last night, I think we
were in the.

Speaker 9 (09:21):
The end of part one of this Netflix documentary about
this big Super Bowl run next year. Night is dark
as before the dawn. It was very dark last week.
But we're we're on our way up now and we're
headed to wherever the super Bowl is going to be
next years.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
I'm sorry that I had him unleashed that tongue last year.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, yeah, are you okay? I'm sweating and that was
too much. I'm afraid of him. I don't want him
to get angry at me.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I know, what's your opinion, Zacho. You you can't make
the list with your opinion.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I'm not mad. Mar you can, of course you can.
You could make my list about anyway.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
You can't, you for sure.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Oh yeah, but I want to see it continue, right?
Is that too much to ask? Yesterday was outstanding. They
just let the kid play football. He was great. Yeah,
we just have to see consistency out of it, and
he's got a lot of chances to do that. The
Lion's defense is terrible. Packers defense is pretty good. But
at the end of the year, who knows what they'll
be playing for. There is momentum on his side for

(10:21):
the first time in a long It.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Would be fun.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
I mean that's the nice thing about the way the
schedule is made up now in the NFL is if
you do have a struggling year like the Vikings have,
you have an opportunity to close out against some division
rivals that close out.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
You said opportunity like it before six.

Speaker 9 (10:45):
I apologize, I don't know, filthy mal, but yeah, I
mean you have an opportunity to to set some tones
for next year with that last couple, those last couple
of games.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
So I'm excited.

Speaker 9 (10:57):
I'm I'm happy that it's not all doing a little
monymore because last week was tough.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
I mean that was about I mean.

Speaker 9 (11:03):
The fact that we had a was it a batam
math fifty seven point swing from losing twenty six to
nothing to winning thirty.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
I mean that's we scored zero and then we scored
all of them. Yeah, the other team didn't score any yesterday.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
First time since ninety two. The Broncos. Yeah, nuts, what
a weird league. To the Nuts, great to the nuts, assembol.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Man, it felt good.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Are you going to Dallas? No? I am not.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
I have my first snowcross event this weekend on on Fox.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
No, what is it? Fox first one? Well, I fst won.

Speaker 7 (11:45):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
It's in Ironwood, Michigan.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I'm leaving here Thursday and we have snowcross on Fox
Sports and on Flow Racing. As I am returning to
be the color commentator for Amzeloa Championship Snowcross.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
I'm very excity first time in a long time.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
I did it for five years and now and then
we had a break and COVID and all that jazz,
and now I'm back and I'm super excited. It's no
cross racing live on Fox Sports. I get to yell
at the TV, I'm sweet, are you doing with that
guy you farted in front of h No, Mikey's not
doing it. He is retired, I said, retired. I like
Mikey's a good guy.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Missing Yeah, great dude.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
A dude named Jeff Fisher and Cast of thousands and
Titans coach. That's a different one, maybe the same one.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Maybe maybe he's into it. But I'm super excited.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
The announcement would have been I've known about it for
a while and we finally made the announcement this past weekend,
and I'm super excited.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
That's great, dude, thank you. Good for you, man, Man,
I need to find something else to do with my time. Yeah,
you know, because you never know about this place, right.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah. I might wake up tomorrow and be dead. Why
would that would be sad? I would hate that, especially
right around the holidays.

Speaker 7 (12:50):
That's a good point.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Losing someone around the holidays is tough. We'll go find him,
I mean, yeah, they'll show up eventually.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
If you think I'd die, you know what I would do.
I just I'd walk back here like this.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick
ass all and I would be I'd be a ghost.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Then you'd walk in and go, don if you eat
you look hag it haggard.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yeah, you would say that.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Sore you go.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
I hope you don't die. That's sweet, Tode's good for you, man.

Speaker 5 (13:24):
I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
You didn't need to say that.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
No, I mean there are people that probably are mad
at him for wanting to split the money with Parker.

Speaker 9 (13:31):
They wanted you to die. Yeah, yeah, who cares, which
is not good. No, don't don't wish death on people. Yeah,
just do it anyway.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Just just keep just play out the string, but split
the money.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
Well yeah, I mean, uh, I'll see what Parker says.
I didn't see if he responded. I didn't see if
even Parcher Bets responded.

Speaker 7 (13:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
Yeah, what the legalities of it all?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
They do that in Polker all the time. Of course
they do.

Speaker 9 (13:57):
We'll get to the final table and they Yeah, what
the pot.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
If Krabby Corey was here, he would say do it?
Oh yeah, he'd back up. Yeah, yeah, would he back
that us up? Yeah, he would back that ass up
two dollars.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
If you're out there listening power Trip Bets, you know
the hot line, give me a give us a call
and give us a ruling.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
He's actually in heaven. Oh yeah, he passed away. What's
he doing up there? He died?

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Oh and Brian Adams, Brian Adams Dad.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
He's in heaven. Oh he sings about it. Oh, great sauce.
You find it hard to believe.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
I don't blame him. I'd find it hard to believe too.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Is that a long distance phone call from up there?
It's a long distance? Is it?

Speaker 9 (14:36):
What's cheaper calling Levell at the Olympics or calling Bets
at heaven.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Whatever happened to that, wasn't that?

Speaker 5 (14:42):
I wonder if everybody ever paid that multiple thousands of
dollars six thousand, wasn't it?

Speaker 9 (14:48):
Yeah, it was in the thousands, so I think it
might have been initially five figures, but they talk the company,
the phone company, down to.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
Four Jesus So man, Well, so it's the eighth day
of Christmas. My true love gave to me a Vikings
victory to talk about Ben Leeber and Mike Muslin coming
in and the greatest gift of all.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Corey's not here. So you didn't say that when I
was gone. I'm just kidding. I forgot about you. Yeah,
that's okay.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
I didn't mention you at all because I forgot. I
forgot about you. But I'm glad you're back now. You
came in this where you're like, son up a bitch.
That's right. You're here, yeah, man here, Yeah, and you're here,
and you're.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
That you're there. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
isn't it. Yes, indeed that's right.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Well for no, that's for a Vikings victory Monday. We'll
be right back doatory Mars.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
I I really can't stay cold outside.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
It is it is cold outside, got and I want
you to know that Cat and I had a perfectly
good evening and she was safe, and I asked her
to stay because I was afraid she was going to
be in danger.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Nothing wrong, nothing wrong with that. I will go. I
will die on the hill. I don't die. I mean
the version you sing to my dad is inappropriate.

Speaker 9 (16:13):
But that's intentionally appropriate, updated filthy lyrics.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Yeah, don't die on the hill if I walked up
and I might.

Speaker 9 (16:21):
Yeah, I just this is a beautiful song, and you
guys have a beautiful rendition of it. And if you
are a smart, intelligent adult and you know how the
phrasing that they used back in the day, or you
know that this is not about that, Yeah, this is a.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
And she is every right to leave. She wants to stay.
She wants to stay because of the deep Yeah, the
deep snow. Oh yeah, that she loves the right.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Didn't you, guys, didn't you say, like a week ago
you recorded this limb the next day they canceled this.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
I swear to you. It was days later, four.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Days after that, and we're like that idiots.

Speaker 8 (17:04):
Yeah, must go, baby, it's cold, I'd say I moved
up there the answer I'm trying.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
I figured she didn't like the deep Martin style and vocals.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
I moved up and she's don't like it the window.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, you'll bring your sister over. Yeah, yeah she finally,
we don't want her to be in danger. What's she
up to? What's he means she up to?

Speaker 10 (17:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:37):
How is she?

Speaker 11 (17:39):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (17:42):
I don't know who asked them? What an inappropriate question?

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Yeah that wasn't you? Justin Trudeau? Then Katy Perry's lover.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah, he's got certain things he needs to know.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Yeah, I guess if you're dating Katy Perry, you want
to know what everybody's brow sized is.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Lucky dog, he must think, he must like every day,
wake up and go.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
I need to quit being Prime minister. Yeah there's motor
boating to do. Yeah, I got plenty to do now.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
Yeah, it's known outside. I got some plowing to do.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah it's July eighth. Yeah I know, Yeah, I got
plowing to do outside.

Speaker 9 (18:25):
Somebody activated the Siri thing on my phone. Yeah, oh
who should call ghostbusters? Yeah yeah, yeah they're coming here
and clean up all the.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Look, guys, we won, we won the sixty four bit.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
We wanted the sixty four. Yeah, it takes bad as
the championship everybody else. We won the championship. Hell yeah,
Nicole sent me just a screenshot of it.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
We won the championship.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
We did it.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
We beat out Fantasy Football Today.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Hell yeah, man, what's that mean? Guys? I don't know
we win anything that they email you again. The company's
going to be so proud of us, are they? I
don't know.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
So we beat Petrose and Money yep, yep, Morning Show
with Boomer and Geo, which is crazy, the common Man,
Dan Cole incredible, Ben Mahler unbelievable. Yeah, and then the
Pat McAfee show, that's the one that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (19:23):
And then we'd just beat Fantasy Football Today, that's right.
Is that charges old show? No, that's Fantasy Football Weekly
all right? Yeah, oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
We want we're number one?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, hell yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
We may not be the most listened to morning show
on on I Radio.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah you know what. One of these years, man, we're
gonna get that. Can I ask a question?

Speaker 7 (19:49):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Since I wasn't here, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I need some follow up information, right, I'm hearing this
just for the first time.

Speaker 5 (19:56):
Well, go ahead, please, How are we not? It's I yeah,
I mean I don't know.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
We had people last week posting that they've listened to
this station and God bless him and I love.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Him over a hundred thousand minutes.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
And again this this thing, this tournament sixty four. The
fact that we won this, it's unbelievable. Thank you, guys,
thank you for voting for us. You had to actually
physically vote for us to win this thing. And we
beat all these national morning shows and you know, the
people who employees might not care, but we do care,
but you listen.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
Thank you very very much.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
The fact that we beat Pat McAfee is that that's
un believable. That's a very popular show. Yeah yeah, I
think we'd all get along with him.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
It's so weird too, because we won the best sports show.
That's like Zach winning best straight Guy.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yay, you know what I mean? Like, I didn't even
know we talked sports, Yeah I didn't. You don't even
like this?

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah, he was saying diamonds.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
You don't like diamonds. They're not your best friend. Yeah,
they're not your best friend. Almost said you don't like
the beave.

Speaker 9 (21:09):
He didn't say that.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Yeah, the beef such an eighties I think it's more
like the.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Fifties and get some beav What who calls it the beaves?

Speaker 11 (21:24):
Your dad probably Moss the beaver, I tell you he
does call it that. Ben leeber Hey, it was his
birthday yesterday, I know, a day that will live in infamy.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Yeah, man, you know what he got last night? The beaver?
I mean probably no, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
He got an interview with J. J.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
McCarthy. We're gonna pay a little later. How cold was that? Yeah?
It was great. He talked to the young quarterback. I
can't wait to talk to Ben about that. I can't
wait to talk to Ben about that.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Did you guys? What did you guys think of the
hit that took out Zach Arndt?

Speaker 9 (21:55):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Sorry, that's okay.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
I didn't mean to do it that wrong.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah, what'd you think?

Speaker 5 (22:04):
Was it dirty? I want to talk to to Ben.
Don't worry. I'm gonna ask the football player if he
thought it was dirty too.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
But what do you think?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Let me ask you this way, if that had been
done to our tight end by one of their defenders,
would you have thought it was dirty?

Speaker 2 (22:20):
I don't know it was kind of a.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
It was disgusting.

Speaker 9 (22:25):
It did look gross, but I don't know if it
was I mean mal intent. I mean it's literally the
exact same hit. Oh wow, almost the exact same place
that Brian Branch hit T. J. Hawkinson a couple of
years ago, that same kind of low the guy's going

(22:49):
up for the ball.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, I mean it was with tell us, right, was it?
Why don't you tell us to see the number? Hold
on here.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
I just don't know if that's an illegal hit.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
I don't know what would have been legal for him
to do, you know what I mean, Like, I know,
maybe he went low, but the guy was up in
the air.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
No, it was Uh, who's twenty four?

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Is that jay Ward?

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Jack Bauer? Well play, we'll play, great show. I just
saw the jay Ward.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
Right it sweet?

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yeah, hold on, just looking at one of us, gone
too soon? Why don't they ever showed them? Why did
they like, oh yeah that's what, Yeah, you are correct?
Yeah I don't. I mean, it's a football play.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
It's terrible.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Look he's not Look no, he's not trying to do it.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
And Jay Ward or Jayward zach Ertz goes up for
the ball right like it looks like Jay Jay is
already making the play and he can't you know it,
and it's just it's just a football play. If he
had like a like a like if he'd done it
a few times, like that's the I think it's the

(24:08):
I think it was Brian Branch that. They're like, god,
what a cheap No, he's going up for the.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Ball that Oh god, that is gross. It's terrible. Yeah,
it's terrible. Yeah, pretty growny man.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Yeah, it's pretty groom trying not to look at the
h it's also a terrible pass.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Well, I don't know, we'll lost the football guy when
he gets Yeah, I'm gonna guess that Ben, being a
former linebacker, is going to say it was just fine. Yeah,
he's gonna say, move your damn leg if you don't
want to broke it.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yeah, I mean you wish she didn't go down like
he did.

Speaker 5 (24:41):
Well, it's the first time you said that.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
But it's such a bang and we're watching it in
slow motion.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
Yeah, and again like, what's he supposed to do?

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Jump up high? Correct? Like, is he supposed to tag
him and he's it? Yeah? Is he supposed to kis
him on his lips?

Speaker 9 (24:56):
Because then if he goes up high, then he risks
having a helmet to helmet.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Thing went apart for it. Oh god, what a great bit.
Careful what oh I thought that was? You thought that was?
Thought that was? Wa wait, tease it after the oh
the stop.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
On one of the YouTube videos, they showed exactly when
he's hit.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Oh god, it looks so bad. On that topic, I was.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
I watched the UFC fight, one of the UFC fights
on Saturday night. Oh yeah, yeah, some guy had his
elbow when he fell back, his elbow went the wrong
way and they don't like like And then in the
NFL they might show one like distant replay of something
like that UFC. Yeah yeah, super slow mo from seventeen

(25:52):
different angles, watching every sort of you can see every
legament pop.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
It's the grossest thing. You turn again, did you see that? Yeah,
that's you watch.

Speaker 9 (26:02):
But I don't think it was as bad as when
we were the weekend. We actually you recorded this song.
I think you recorded this one a pack.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
That's right. I did the vocals, that's right.

Speaker 9 (26:14):
If you remember that night that one was watching a
guy's leg wrap around another guy's play.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Not once, but twice, and we laughed because we were
so high. We were so high. That's one of the
top five best nights of my life. I was so
high I couldn't hardly stand up.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
That's so great. God, when you're laughing so hard, you
might call l one one. Yeah, that's getting highest fun
in the right situation.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
Completely destroying your career because of your leg wrapping around
a guy's shoulder not as fine.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Yeah, Kirby Joseph, that hit TJ.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Hawkins and and I think he has a rap sheet
of doing that.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
But yeah, I don't know if it's a dirty hit.
It's just a bang bang play. Let's find out from
the bang bang bang when he gets in here. Show.
What's right? Bank? Men?

Speaker 4 (27:05):

Kirkwall at his best.

Speaker 5 (27:27):

to see trick goes one, two, four, one or two.

So you can leave to get up there before everything?
You can play on the run button. Sure is it over?
It's man, that was a fast Yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:42):
What time is it?

Speaker 1 (29:53):

Huh outstand? Give us some just great football this weekend?
How about that Indiana Ohio State game? How about that
for down ten? How about that game? I can't believe it.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
My favorite bit of the whole weekend is that Notre
Dame doesn't make the playoff and then they quit.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
They just quit. They just quit, and they're not They're
no longer in college. I mean what we're k not
gonna I get it.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
They folded up the shop, but they sold the buildings.
It's an Amazon distribution center now.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Oh, they's not a football team anymore. It's not even
a college anymore. They quit.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Wo's a lot They're so offended that James Madison made
it and they were like, who is that the president?

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Your Minnesota Vikings are victorious. They crushed the Commanders JJ
McCarthy and the Vikings snapped their four game losing streak.
McCarty was sixteen to twenty three, one hundred and sixty
three yards, three touchdowns, two of them to Oliver Won
to TJ. Howkinson. The Vikings ran for one hundred and

(31:34):
sixty two yards, so that defense of the Vikings was outstanding.
They held the two Commanders quarterbacks to ninety nine yards.
They had two interceptions, two sacks, and they are the
first team that won a game via shutout after being
shut out in their previous game since nineteen ninety two,
and the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Exciting, big time, big win, big game. Didn't see that coming.
Although all week long, we all everybody was like, you know,
something feels good about this game.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
I don't know what it is. And it wasn't just
because the Commanders weren't good. I thought they were going
to be better than that.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Same they were hideous, they didn't want to be there.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
And then dudes, elbow got hurt again. And but even
before that, he wasn't he wasn't great, you know. And uh,
you know, if you watched one game for each young quarterback,
you would have said, well, the Viki's got the better
the two quarterbacks, and.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Which history game.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
As you've always said, I say this all the time.
Running quarterbacks are great, but every play they're bound to
get hurt.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Yeah, they have an expiration data that is up. You
got to check every time you open the jug, you
know what I mean? Oh, like, you gotta check every
time you guys smell it. You got sniff it.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Every time you open the drug, even if it says
it's still good, you gotta check it.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. And then and then
you sniff it and you're like, I don't know if
I remember what good milk smells like.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Do you ever have that thought?

Speaker 5 (32:53):
You're not Shirt's good, You're not Shirt's good. Am I
the only person in America that does this? You open
the jug of milk, can you smell it?

Speaker 4 (33:00):
And you're like, well, that kind of smells ransom, but
I can't remember if that is how it spur smell. Yeah,
and then you go crazy legs on it. Crazy legs Drake, Yeah,
your Vikings crazy legs Drake.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Five and eight.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
They battle the Cowboys Hogs Daddy on Sunday Night Football
at seven twenty pregame at five, The Cowboys are six
point favorites.

Speaker 5 (33:26):
I don't know, man, I'm it's the first road game
I've missed for the Minnesota Vikings in a very long time.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
How about that, I know, I'm I'm they sending crazy
legs abbat they are.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
They're crazy foot abit Yeah yeah, he you know he
walks worse than Daniel Jones.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Yeah, oh, I know? How about that contact they already have?

Speaker 5 (33:47):
Like did you did you guys, did you guys see
the quarterback that came in as one of the Ninja Turtles.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Yeah, Riley Leonard.

Speaker 5 (33:54):
Yeah, I thought his name is Leonardo.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
No, I think it's Riley. I think he's the former
Notre Dame cow Hies brother. Yeah, cow Hi's brother.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Anyway, You missing the game? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (34:06):
And it's it's a great stadium. It's a big, old stadium.
But I've been there before, so it's cool. And they
stay at a great, great hotel on the golf. Oh,
oh my god, it's maybe the best hotel in the
NFL that we stay in. I kid you not, it's awesome.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Whoa, but Audion, I'll be.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
In lovely Ironwood, Michigan where there's hold on are you there?

Speaker 4 (34:28):
No, I'm leaving here Thursday after the show, driving there
and we raise Friday and Saturday, and then I'll come
home Sunday.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Cool.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
I can almost probably make it to the airport to
fly to Dallas some time, but I'll drop foot deserves
a trip away from home.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Yeah, Franken Steyle, do you think you'll be upset if
we call him that? I mean, I don't think he's listening.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
Oh, he's definitely listening right now.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yes, you think he's awake at six fourteen in the morning.
You don't drop foot?

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Do you know how many jobs that guy has?

Speaker 2 (34:58):
Yeah? I heard has.

Speaker 5 (35:00):
I'm listening to a radio station out of Bilexi, Mississippi
right now.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
What's the call letters on that station? K R A,
C I S T. And that's Crisist, Crisist. You're Crisist
in the morning? Which morning?

Speaker 7 (35:18):
So is.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
No anyway?

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Anyway, I don't have to listen.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Uh, do you want me to do more local stuff?
Or do you want me to tell you the NFL score?

Speaker 13 (35:29):
Can I?

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Can I do your favorite? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (35:31):
Can I play a little bit of Koc talking about
his young quarterback?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Absolutely?

Speaker 5 (35:34):
Here he is Koc talking about his young quarterback.

Speaker 10 (35:37):
But I think it was a combination of JJ's execution,
staying efficient. We had some different looks early on in
the game to try to some change ups. So maybe
some things we've done, either personnel wise or schematically and
just tried to, you know, get off to a fast
start and then get a little momentum in the game,
allow our defense to play with the lead and then
eventually force some turnovers and then try to see if

(35:59):
we could stack on that by just staying the course
and protecting the football and playing smart.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
It just it was a different football team yesterday.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yeah, all around, all the way around. The offensive line
had some attitude. They played great. Yeah, the quarterback was
just in rhythm. It didn't it looked like what they
thought they were going to get. He didn't look like
every throw had to be perfect. Some of those third
down throws he made were great. He just he just
made the right play. He did every time. He didn't
put the ball in danger. I don't think once. No interceptions,

(36:29):
no interceptions, they had no turnovers. It was that's a
winning formula, especially with that defense and the way that
defense played. And it was great because like there was
no vibe when they introduced that defense. And then as
the vikings and a good call by whoever made the
call to take the ball right away. They that was

(36:50):
a good call because when they saw that the team,
you know, had some rhythm, march down the field and scored.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
People were into it. Man, that's got a lot of point,
you know what.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
That's I didn't think of it that way, but to
have your offense out on the field and do well,
that definitely got the field of the because the crowd
into it.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
If they didn't that that whole place turns that that
Crazy Legs Drake. Yeah, Crazy legs Drake and uh crazy Yeah.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Here's Koc on taking the ball.

Speaker 10 (37:21):
You know, a big point for the week, I was
starting fast in the game. Sometimes that means putting your
defense out there and getting to stop. But when you
take the ball, it allows really two phases to start
fast at the same time. With the new kickoff rule,
jug you know, Miles with a really nice return there,
and then before you know it, when you get a
return like that, if you can sustain and get that
first first down, now you at least have the field

(37:42):
position on your side.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
But obviously the goals to go.

Speaker 10 (37:45):
In there and get seven points to start the game
and kind of lift the building in a lot of ways.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yeah, I thought that's exactly what it was. It's a
gamble because if it doesn't go right, then oh boy,
but it did.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
It went great. They knew they had the game plan.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
They knew that that when when you get to this
point in the season and you have a now three
and ten Commanders team on the road, and the seasons long,
you get some quit in these teams and then crazy
Legs and then crazy Legs Drake and then Jugs Miles
or whatever he said. You know, they put the they
put the quit in that commander's team.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
They did. They did not want to be there, they
did not.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
But uh yeah, props to the Vikings for taking advantage
of that making that a very fun afternoon at us
Bank Stadium.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
You got that right.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Week fourteen ends with the eight and four Chargers hosting
the eight and four Eagles. The Eagles are minus two
and a half tonight on Monday night.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
That should be fun.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
That should be great, should be a good The game
last night was great, So much fun last night. Yeah,
we can do all that for what really matters.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
But yeah, we'll do it when old benjo Man comes in.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Yeah, benjo Man, we got a lot to talk about.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
I know you Hawk were tech me over the weekend
about the MLB Draft lottery that's tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
I know we're excited for that. Yeah, it's super exciting.
I can't wait for the MLB Draft. I talked last
night to John Bonus. We do our we do Sundays
in the bathtub, you and John and we faced on
each other from the bathtub, and last night he forgot

(39:24):
his bubbles.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
That's sad. I think he's at the winter meeting.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
He's at the winter meetings. That's right, right, Yeah, that's right.
They meet about wintertime, and.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Then he's going to Costa Rica.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
It's true.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Bonus is the best. Top four yeah RSin.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Morning shows, the best according to the sixties.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Hey, we won thanks to our friends. All you listeners

this market. Here we are on.

Five fingers and well, yeah, and my little Louis and
your little.

Speaker 5 (40:10):

Speaker 2 (40:14):
Yep, God bless your father.

Speaker 5 (40:21):
We'll be right back. We're going to talk about all
the NFL scores, like what happened doing Buffalo and the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
It was fine.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
What happened doing the Bears and the Backers even more fun?

Speaker 13 (40:31):
All that more fans, Hey, you cannot remember remember Corey
Kov Guys, make sure that guy remember a guy?

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, Corey with us.

Speaker 9 (40:44):

it's pretty much the Eagle Street. It's brand new. Good,
it's not new.

Speaker 14 (41:19):
They were a kidding corner and then they close and
then came Tommy likes every bar. Yeah, yeah, Tommy's the best.
How's he doing?

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I don't know. Was he here on Thursday?

Speaker 1 (41:35):
He was not?

Speaker 2 (41:35):
He was not here, didn't get my fixed. I think
he'll be here this Thursday.

Speaker 5 (41:41):
He was getting fixed.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
Well that's good. Yeah, that's really good. Yeah about all right,
here's the deal.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
Yesterday, after the game triumphantly, our Ben Leber spoke with
our quarterback JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 7 (41:55):
How good does that feel? It feels great.

Speaker 15 (41:57):
You know, it's exactly what we expected to feel like
every time step on the field. So you know, just
doing everything right throughout the week and having it show
up on Sunday was awesome, and you know, just give
us all the confidence in the world to attack it
the same way next week.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
I mean, speaking of confidence, it's got to feel good,
not just in the running game, but for you from
the protection standpoint. Only the second time all year that
the starting five offensive linement have been in.

Speaker 7 (42:17):
The game and starting together.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
But like, how nice is that knowing that those five
guys are there to protect you and open up all
those run lanes.

Speaker 7 (42:23):
Fantastic?

Speaker 15 (42:24):
You know, offensive line, regardless of the team, that's one
of the most important, if not the most important unit
of an offense. And they have to be cohesive. They
have to think the same and react the same way.
And you know, just them in their second game, they
played outstanding. You know, it felt comfortable all day back there.
They were moving the line of scrimmage. It was tremendous
to see them all, you know, get after it one
more time.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
You know.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
I know some people like to make things out of
like quarterbacks. They love their receivers, they love the running backs,
they love their tight ends. You especially today, really targeted
the tight ends. That is that a relationship thing or
is that just how the offense worked out today.

Speaker 7 (42:56):
It's funny.

Speaker 15 (42:57):
I talked in the off season with them about you know,
the situation like today, and they're always like, whenever the
game plan shows and we expect we're not going to
get the ball that much, that's when we show up.

Speaker 7 (43:07):
So you know, it's just a credit to their jobs
every day.

Speaker 15 (43:10):
You know, it's one of the most underrated positions in
the NFL, and they show up every single day. Great guys,
great character, Everything about their work ethic is something that
you know invigorates this team. So absolutely love those boys
with all my heart and you know, happy they got.

Speaker 7 (43:24):
Some love today.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
Well, it's a great fat of this offense too, knowing
that everybody's going to focus on on JJ outside Addison
Naylor to some extent, But then you've got a quote
unquote blocking tight end that can get open and make
some plays for you. I mean it's got to feel really,
you know, reassuring that like, hey, all of these guys
I throw the ball to, they can all make plays.

Speaker 7 (43:41):
One percent. Let's keep that blocking tight end title going.

Speaker 15 (43:44):
You know, tech with some deception there, but yeah, all
of them can make plays and get open and separate
and catch the ball. And you know, getting Jets open,
getting three open, getting speedy open, that all comes with
moving the ball around and getting it to guys and
just keep stacking positive plays. That's the biggest thing I'm
proud of with you know, our guys and our offense.

Speaker 7 (44:01):
And uh yeah, we just got to at last one
for you. I know you're a big mindset guy.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
How do you guys take this high of highs right now,
put it all away and refocus for the Cowboy game the.

Speaker 7 (44:10):
Same way we put away the lows of lows.

Speaker 15 (44:12):
You know, understand that everything in the past does not matter.
You're only as successful as your last successful act. And
we just got to keep pushing, keep working, and you know,
see where we get to. But at the end of
the day, we're just focused on growth in the process.

Speaker 7 (44:23):
Yeah, congrats on a great game man, so much brother.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
There he goes. Did they both have to pee? Yeah? Yeah,
like they were talking very fair, Yeah, I did.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
I think the thing that you can say about JJ McCarthy,
and you know, there were people and I was one
of them.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
No, I'm not. I'm not at all.

Speaker 5 (44:40):
It sounds like he's gonna take a shot one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
I'm not there.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
You know, there are people like myself who called him
a bust, right the one one of the many things
positive things you can say about that kid is he
wants it. The just thing you can hear the way
he talks about a his teammates and all the other
just the way he carries him self.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
He wants it.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
There have been a lot of quarterbacks that have come
through this league that the second they realized they can't
do it, there's some quid in them. Not that kid,
and that's a very positive thing for him.

Speaker 5 (45:11):
I want it too.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Yeah he looked good out there, Yeah he did. He
looked great.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
And as Lieber said, the first time, I guess that's
correct that he's played behind that entire offensive line. Darrisaw
was out the first couple of games. They started. Uh
who did they start at left tackle? In the first game,
Hawk Mona Lisa played the restaurant in Eau Claire.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Yep, uh she.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
Well no, but no, I've I've been to the you
see limits in but I didn't go in. Great story.
But yeah, it's good. The offensive line played well. It's
fun to play at home. Now go on the road
and duplicate it.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
Yeah, go on the road and duplicate it in Dallas.
Everything to play for hideous Steve Fense yeah, not so good.
But they've got everything to play. Yeah, they do, especially
if Philly loses tonight.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
Yeah, good point, which I still can't believe Philly is
a two point favorite on the road against the Charger.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
Well, maybe you're dreaming right now? Do you think of that?

Speaker 2 (46:12):
No, I think I'm awake.

Speaker 5 (46:14):
I had a dream last night about sexual relations. Well
I can't answer that question. Let's just say the band oasis,
that's all mountain.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
I know they got it as a dream.

Speaker 5 (46:29):
I still feel weird though. I woke up all sore.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
What working out? Are you? Okay?

Speaker 5 (46:37):
Nope, you were sore.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
I'm sure what were you doing?

Speaker 5 (46:43):
Sexual relations?

Speaker 2 (46:45):
From working out?

Speaker 7 (46:46):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Sexual relations?

Speaker 5 (46:48):
I work got a place off Discover strength and it's
still the body workouts. So my whole body hurts. Did
you do that yesterday, day before yestory? Yeah, today's day.
It hurts real bad. Yeah, is me getting out of bed.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Oracist dream? Yep?

Speaker 5 (47:04):
This is me trying to pee this morning.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
That's not good.

Speaker 5 (47:08):
Yeah, maybe it wasn't a dream. Maybe the oasist thing
actually happened.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Ye, maybe you need help.

Speaker 5 (47:14):
Maybe we should talk more sports.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Well, Ben's here now we can.

Speaker 4 (47:18):
That was Ben Labor by the way, with JJ McCarthy,
our quarterback. And you're only going to hear that on
the parts of morning show because we're the only morning
show in the wide world who's one of our contributors
speaks to the players right after the games.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Yeah. Cool.

Speaker 5 (47:30):
That's why we're the number one sports morning show in
America right.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Now according to the sixty four domes to the listeners. Yeah,
and God bless.

Speaker 5 (47:38):
Them, according to everybody but the company we work for.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
Yeah, it's a.

Speaker 5 (47:47):
Hey, Ben, he's taking off his hat.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
He's putting on his headphones, right Hi, Ben, Hi, how
are you?

Speaker 5 (47:54):
He's putting mine right now.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
I'm in the camera up that's going he's putting Jesus.

Speaker 5 (48:00):
I ban can hear me?

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yeah? I got you.

Speaker 5 (48:02):
You ever wake up in the morning and go pee it?
It feels like this?

Speaker 2 (48:10):
No, No, I don't think.

Speaker 5 (48:12):
So what a life you've lived?

Speaker 2 (48:14):
Yeah? You t I free.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
I mean there's sometimes where you where you wake up
and you gotta you know, wait for it to like
go down.

Speaker 1 (48:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
Yeah, you got to aim the hose. Yeah you know.

Speaker 5 (48:26):
Yeah, you got a bender down.

Speaker 3 (48:28):
Yeah yeah, not so much the pain of it, it's
just uh, yeah, you got to calm down their pal.

Speaker 5 (48:34):
Yeah, yeah, dreaming about Oasis again.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Yeah, you're too Why is it so difficult? Why is
it so what?

Speaker 4 (48:42):
What?

Speaker 7 (48:42):
What's that? Bud?

Speaker 2 (48:43):
When to do that? When it's like, you know, standing
at attention, you know, too much, too much, too much
blood flow?

Speaker 5 (48:50):
I guess you know, too constricted to a handstand?

Speaker 2 (48:56):
Boy or that?

Speaker 7 (48:58):
How do you?

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Oh my, listen, we're gonna break. Who told you that? Sama?

Speaker 4 (49:05):
We're gonna do break, and we're gonna come back and
we're gonna get started, ladies.

Speaker 5 (49:08):
And we actually have our our football expert in the house.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Where you it's you man, it's you man. Listen to
me yesterday, Yeah, on.

Speaker 5 (49:15):
Your birthday talking about football?

Speaker 2 (49:17):
Happy later? Yeah, thanks, felt real good about it.

Speaker 5 (49:20):
And then I remember that I'll be working on my.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Birthday too, Yeah you will.

Speaker 5 (49:25):
Oh yeah, we have a noon game on Christmas Day.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
No, I think it's a three thirty so much better. Yeah, yeah,
I think it's let me.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
Take a look here, three thirty pm. That's right, that's
two thirty hour time, man, And like, no, is it
three thirty hour time? It's three thirty hour time?

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Three thirty hour time?

Speaker 5 (49:40):
Oh good?

Speaker 2 (49:41):
And it's a home game. It's a home game.

Speaker 5 (49:42):
Yeah, no, I know that's cool.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
It's perfection. Actually three three is going to be a
great game. Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 5 (49:47):
That's great.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
It'll be fun.

Speaker 5 (49:48):
Yeah, and the Lions are gonna have some stuff to
play for.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Oh yeah, they will.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
I think every team except for the Giants the rest
of the way are going to have something to play for.
I think that the NFC nor I won't include us,
but I think it'll.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
Come down to the final game.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
But I think we're going to be contributing fat under
the way we played yesterday and Ben's new best friend
JJ mack, our quarterback, you have something to say about it.
I want to find out for you, Bet, I want
you to contemplate this during the break, was Jay Ward's
hit on zach Ertz dirs or not.

Speaker 5 (50:22):
Don't don't answer. That's a tease. That's why we're the
number one sports show in America.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
It's still not the best in the city.

Speaker 5 (50:30):
That's what I've been told.

Speaker 2 (50:31):
It's the fight.

Speaker 9 (50:40):
We all remember that one teacher who made a difference,
who believed in us, challenged us, or just made learning fun.
Now is your chance to say thank you in a
big way with Iheartradios think a teacher powered by donors
choose you can nominate an outstanding public school teacher who's
gone above and beyond for their students to win five
thousand dollars to stock their class with whatever they need.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Help us say thank you to the educator shaping our future.

Speaker 9 (51:04):
Nominate your favorite teacher now I can't at iHeartRadio dot
com slash teachers Hauck's got an email.

Speaker 5 (51:10):
Got an email from a Jay Lambert.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
Oh yeah, dear Potry, I know I'm a little pasta
school age, but I still remember my favorite teacher. I'd
like to nominate her if you don't mind, Okay. She
was my ninth grade history teacher. Her name was Miss Dickups.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
My dad sent you that.

Speaker 5 (51:41):
I don't know it just says Jay Lambert.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
Oh sorry.

Speaker 5 (51:45):
She never failed to inspire me as.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Sorry.

Speaker 4 (51:52):
Each day what was her name? Miss Dickups me things
I never dreamed of. Every Monday morning, she would come
near me and I would realize that things are possible,

(52:15):
and she would ask me to please leave the room
and take care of that the big knockers. But she
wasn't mean about it like the rest of the teachers were.
What mister direction often sent me to the principal's office,

(52:35):
but never missed Dick cups and I'll never forget.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
Her shape, lay Hooders, signed Jay Lambert. Yeah, I don't
have time to read that.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
Don't be cross.

Speaker 5 (52:48):
I don't have time to read your emails. I thought
that was gonna be sweet to turn.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
Out to be. Uh, what was the name of the
lady missus?

Speaker 15 (52:57):
And what was the name of the principal again, mister oh.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
How would you spell that? The aposterphy? Yeah? He was Italian?
It was Yeah, who was that? Who sent you that email?

Speaker 7 (53:14):
Trenton du Listen.

Speaker 5 (53:18):
I don't have time for this madness.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Yeah, it's amazing how our teachers touch us in many ways.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
Yeah, right.

Speaker 5 (53:26):
To touch us, well said, I love teachers.

Speaker 7 (53:31):
Got in all seriousness. My third grade teacher was so hot.

Speaker 5 (53:34):
What was her name?

Speaker 2 (53:36):
I don't remember.

Speaker 5 (53:37):
Can I tell you something right now? Yeah, my third
grade teacher. I was just talking about it the other
day because she had such a huge impact on my life,
I kid you not. And she's still around and she
is still hotter in fire and she must be in
her eighties. Really, Yeah, she was just stunning. Who was
the teacher you had?

Speaker 2 (53:55):
That you hit on.

Speaker 5 (53:56):
I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 16 (53:58):
No, like after you graduatedmensa. Oh well that's good.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
That was their name. That was that's a weird name
for a female teacher.

Speaker 5 (54:18):
I grew up in a very progressive town.

Speaker 7 (54:20):
Good for you.

Speaker 5 (54:22):
Listen, ladies and gentlemen. First of all, not true at all.
It's time for football talk with Ben leeber Sweet then yeah,
what the hell where did that come from?

Speaker 2 (54:32):
I don't know, man.

Speaker 4 (54:33):
Everybody seemed to be like like they took a deep
breath and remembered who they are, Like they heard the
little Tinian, little tiny Lion's dad and the lions dad.
Yeah yeah, and he goes, remember who you are?

Speaker 5 (54:48):
Remember? And then they went out and played football.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Try to tell us was that it is? That what
you're thinking that? Yeah, it's so good. That's probably what
the boys probably remember who you are in that voice?
Yeah do you think? On Saturday night?

Speaker 7 (55:09):
And he's just like, remember you are.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
I hope they.

Speaker 5 (55:12):
Watched the Lion King as a football team together. Really,
I think they might have done that.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Would they just hold will record up in the air?

Speaker 2 (55:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (55:24):
Yeah, they held toll up in the air. T Barnes
T Barnes like this, This is his legs just still running.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Because he never stopped running. He never stops running.

Speaker 3 (55:43):
Even when we're flying, He's still walking up and down
the ohio.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
You can't stop.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
He's like the doggie who falls asleep and they're dreaming
that they're running.

Speaker 3 (55:52):
I love him so much. He's the best guy in
the world anyway, football football. I don't know where that
came from.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
It's the best of it.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
You know, when you announce it to the whole world
that you're going to basically simplify everything, make everything a
little a little easier, and and it looks like that
it's I don't know. I guess I don't know all
of the the x's and o's of like, well, what
was you know, what was simplified? You know, like we
did not have like crazy route combinations or this and that,

(56:23):
or did we go from fifty plays down to twenty
five plays?

Speaker 2 (56:26):
I don't know, I don't care.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
It looked great, Yeah, I mean everybody executed so much
quicker and faster, cleaner.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
You know, we had what one penalty on offine penalty? Yeah,
one one penalty on office It was Darris saw a
false start, right, Yeah, yep.

Speaker 3 (56:43):
And then I saw maybe Kevin Seaffert put this out.
I forget who it is. I want to make sure
I attack who was it? It was kele Yarborough, Kayal Yardborough,
Yeah what from his Chevy just the just the fastest,
you know, the fastest time of getting the ball out
of his hand was. I think it was the fastest
all season long. You know, it's you know, it was quick,

(57:05):
it was decisive, it was clean, it was efficient, it
was accurate. Holy count, I think he had won. He
had one ball that he sailed, but he actually got
hit on the throw that he couldn't actually you know,
step into the throw. So it's like, okay, well that's
that wasn't just a clean throw that he sailed over
the top of the guy's head.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
But I gotta look great.

Speaker 3 (57:22):
And the defense played awesome, you know they had they
had that whole offense rattled. It was it was awesome.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
Yeah, yeah, that that team, the Commanders are a weird
team because like he led them to the NFC Championship
game as a rookie. Yep, they're awful, Like they're just
not They just looked like they didn't want to be
there yesterday.

Speaker 3 (57:49):
There definitely was a little bit of not that it
wasn't as the game went on. It was not the
team that I expected to see it watching. They were
a favorite yesterday. And the thing is listening to their
people all week talk about their team. I mean, they
were all really high on the team.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:07):
I think it was the first time, like us that
their entire offensive line was playing and all their wide
receivers were playing.

Speaker 3 (58:13):
And they're all so jack that dan Quinn was calling
the plays again, this would be the third game in
a row that he was taking over play calling duties
on defense, which he's an outstanding defensive coordinator, but he know,
he just wanted to play a head coach and he
wants to be just the head coach and he wants
to kind of like do all those roles. So he
stepped away from from play calling and then things weren't
going well. They get a little healthier on defense, he

(58:35):
starts making calls. They're playing so much better, Like they
went into this this game thinking that they were gonna
not wipe us up, but they were trending the right
direction and we were trending the wrong direction. So for
all those people out there they're like, well, they gave up.
I'm telling you right now. As a player, you don't
give up with five games left to go in the season.
You might give up with two games left to go

(58:55):
in the season.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Or three, but not with five. Yeah, five is still
a decent amount of the season left. The team doesn't
give up, but individuals can give up.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
Right, not necessarily, not as much as you think it's
it is. So for everybody, you're like, well, you know,
we look good against the team that that wasn't trying. Like, no,
they were, they were trying. If this was the second
to last game of the season and everybody's in preservation mode,
I would understand that, Like, Okay, they didn't give their
best effort, but I think that we got as close

(59:25):
to Washington's best effort as possible.

Speaker 7 (59:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Yeah, the kid played well, he really did. Yeah the
uh was he sacked once?

Speaker 10 (59:35):
No?

Speaker 2 (59:35):
You sacked like three times? Really?

Speaker 1 (59:37):
Because he sackree three, if not four times? He was
sacked by Uh, who's that one really good player that
they have?

Speaker 5 (59:45):
Carol Shelby.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
Carol Shelby, the car guy that.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
Not Bobby Wagner, the other guy, the older guy that
they have who was a number von Miller von Miller,
and that was just a great play by von Miller.

Speaker 3 (59:59):
And I think four sacks, yeah, I think there might
have been one of them that would didn't look like
a sack, but he he was tackled behind the line
screw and so it wasn't like your typical yeah, you know,
in the pocket sack. So that's probably why you don't
remember so many of them. But yeah, we still got
sacked four times, which you know, I wouldn't say everything

(01:00:19):
was perfect, perfect, but no, but.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
They needed that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
Man, you struggle against that team, like if this is
like another shootout win or you maybe score ten points.
There's a lot of people asking a lot of questions,
and there's a lot of people looking.

Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
For people to be removed from jobs.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
That's a big win. It may not mean much in
the big scheme of things, but yesterday for what they needed.
And I saw the bit where they were talking. The
coach talked afterwards to the whole team and he said
he told him Saturday night, the night before the game,
what would your sixteen year old self think?

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Right? And I think that was a big message to them.

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Or they were like, this is a gift that we
get to play this game, and they played with their
hair on fire. They all played well, they were risk
they were perfect. It was you know, it was a
great win. They needed that victory. That and they may
not win another game, but they needed that win.

Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
That was a big win.

Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
You never you never shy away and you never obviously
there's there is that same and you never apologize for wins,
and that's usually when they when wins are kind of sloppy.
But you know, why would anybody look at this last
this game yesterday and think anything negative? I mean, it
was I know, I know all these people are talking
about draft status and all this other stuff, but it

(01:01:33):
I'm not looking at that so much as we're all
as fans looking for a jumping off point for next year.
You can't have a jumping off point if the team
continues to crater and all you're thinking about is draft picks,
because I'm gonna tell you right now, they're most likely
not going to draft a quarterback. So it's not like

(01:01:54):
your savior is out there at the number six pick
and all of a sudden everything's gonna be just because
you draft one player. That's not gonna happen. So whether
we have the sixth pick, or we have the seventeenth pick.
I would much rather go into the next next offseason with, like,
holy cow, I think that we actually do have our quarterback.

Speaker 7 (01:02:15):
We found our guy.

Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
We we have an offensive line that can protect when
they're healthy, you know, barring if you know, a certain
guy comes back. But all we have to do is
like add little little pieces here and there, versus like, oh,
we got to blow this thing all up just because
you want to you want draft status, Like that's That's
not where I'm at. I mean, I would much rather

(01:02:39):
go into next offseason with, hell, yeah, we got we
got a quarterback, and we got a team, and we
got a team that believes in ourselves. Still, you know,
we're gonna be competitive going on next year if we
just add a couple of pieces here and there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
So dogs, Well, first.

Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Of all, how great are those first five players on
the board if the Savior is only the sixth pick?

Speaker 5 (01:02:57):
I mean wow. Second of all, why tight ends yesterday?
Was that just a facet of the offense where they
happened to be open or is that something they were
specifically planning for?

Speaker 3 (01:03:10):
Do you think, you know, maybe koc answers that today
or Wednesday or whenever he does his pressers. It could
just be a product of that. That was the guys
that were open. But you know, if we're going to
simplify things and we're going to make things quick, then
they probably were within the first couple of reads. So

(01:03:31):
maybe it was a little more tighten centric. That was
an intentional thing with the game plan. You know, I'm
going to guess that absolutely the first touchdown to Oliver
up the scene, Yeah, that had to been like the
first or second read was a great throw. That ball
came out pretty quick and it was like on aline
and so I'm guessing that particular play and then I

(01:03:52):
got it. I'm guessing the gotta have it where we
had Hawkinson score his touchdown, that was probably a first
second read as well. So I think if we use
all of the weapons going into this Dallas game, if
we use all the weapons like that and then we
just change up who's who's going to be the primary receiver,
whether it's Addison or whether it's j J or whatever

(01:04:13):
it's going to be. It's really hard to defend this offense,
especially if you start throwing in like an Aaron Jones
swing pass. You know, a screen pass here and there.
This This is the type of offense that keeps defenses on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Their heels and we just put it on tape.

Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
So if we don't need a quarterback where we're sitting
right now, what is your first spot of need in
the NFL draft?

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Well, probably running back, but I would even say I
know that I know that Jeremiah Love from Notre Dame
has been mocked already to us based on where we
were draft status before this game, so that's going to change.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
Obviously. Is the eleventh pick still the eleventh pick?

Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
So either either way, I mean, I haven't done enough
research to say if he's a Adrian Peterson type of
running back that he's going to be generational and he's going.

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
To I won't see him playing a Bowl game, which.

Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Yeah, which I actually agree, I actually agree with if
we want to go down that road, but we will.
I don't know, man, I still think that running backs important,
but maybe I'll take him for the take a running
back in the eleventh pick of the second rounds Okay, yeah, right,
you know, I still bok at the idea of taking

(01:05:24):
a first round running back that high when I think
that there still needs at the defensive line still needs
at corner safety safety.

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
It did not work out for the Raiders, right. That
team's horrific. I think it's safety and we can't We're
not going to get into it deep now, but it
would be safety. And the safety if I had to pick,
would be the safety from Ohio State, Caleb Downs.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
He's outstanding.

Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
Yeah, he's an outstanding player.

Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
Outstanding, but yeah, I mean, yeah, I think the other
thing we saw yesterday Ben two was like they had
fun again, like when they were made, Like there were
a bunch of just simple first downs where like they
dap up JJ or they'd help each other Like I
know it doesn't mean much in the big scheme of things,
but like they'd.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
Help each other up there. They love each other. There
is like a team sense.

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
It's not like you see it probably yesterday, and there's
a lot of like individual stats like like Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
At this point, Miles Garrett is just playing for himself.

Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
He just wants to get that sack record and that's
always out there for I'm not saying he's a bad teammate,
but like those guys play together.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Man, that was fun to see yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
Yeah, I agree, I mean it's not they're not just
it's not paying lip service when they say some of
this the the company line things about how much they
love each other and how much they just block out
the distractions of outside and all of the studden you know,
when you see it on the field, the way that
they do play with each other and the way they
interact with each other, and the way that they are
they are like to your point, they're dapping people up,

(01:06:50):
they're giving high fives, they're like they're.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
Helping each other intentional.

Speaker 3 (01:06:53):
They're intentional about going to certain teammates at certain times
that make you think that no, they truly are like close,
like this is a really close scroup.

Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
I'm just really impressed with the way that JJ did
bounce back this whole week, where imagine going out to
perform in front of that crowd in that environment, coming
off another week off, and everybody around you is telling
basically saying like, oh, you're you're not mature enough. You're
not at a point yet where we can give you
the whole offense. So we're gonna like simplify this thing,

(01:07:27):
and then we're gonna go out there and say, hey, man,
don't think, don't overthink. It, But what does that look like?
What does that feel like? For your first game? Does
not overthink you're gonna walk up to the line. I'm like, oh,
am I not supposed to think about that safety creeping down?
Am I not supposed to think about this checker adjustment?
Am I not supposed to think about this guy looks
like he's a threat as a blitzer?

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
Or do I just execute the offense?

Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
And then when the ball snapped, It's like, what am
I supposed to not think about?

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
It's kind of a tricky mental thing. And he handled
it really really well. He did before we got a break.
Let's pay off that tease. Was that hit from Jay
Ward on zach ERT's a dirty hit?

Speaker 7 (01:08:08):
Do you want many answer that right now?

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (01:08:10):
No, it was not good?

Speaker 3 (01:08:14):
Well sudden it was not, and it was not. There
was no maliciousness to it at all. I heard, you know,
jumping off what Zacho said earlier. Where do you want
these guys in a in a bang bang snap judgment play?
Where do you want his target to be right? You
want him to launch upwards? That's guaranteed, fine, completely guaranteed, fine,

(01:08:35):
guaranteed fine and flagged if your hips launch upward in
an upward motion to a defenseless receiver. I don't care
where you hit him, you will get You will get
fined because it's it's inevitable that the crown of your helmet,
which is basically your whal helmet. It's not just the
top of your helmet, it's anywhere in the face mask.
If your face mask or your helmet hits him, that's

(01:08:57):
the primary thing that hits the the player, you will
get fined.

Speaker 7 (01:09:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:09:02):
So sorry, we're we're just talking about it because it
looked so.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
Bad, right, Yeah, it looks it looks terrible, just terrible,
and it might be a career and from what they're saying.

Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
Yeah, yeah it was. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:09:12):
I mean he was going to be this was his
last year anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Yeah, so he was.

Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
He's going to go into retirement with a broken knee.

Speaker 7 (01:09:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:09:20):
Who else wanted to retirement yesterday? The Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Yeah, it's and that guy's gonna have to go into
free agency with the tornic killing.

Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
Was one year deal?

Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
Yeah, yeah, was he because there are people saying that
we should sign him back here. Yeah, and now he
won't be ready, he'll be like Kirk cousins. He won't
be ready until probably weak, if not later, because Kirk
got hurting. What November he got hurt? He got hurt
like a month earlier.

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:09:45):
Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts quarterback t Achilles.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
All non contact.

Speaker 7 (01:09:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
And that pad that he had on like his other
busted up leg. Yeah man.

Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
Yeah, it's too bad, man. They haven't been going there
in Indianapolis. Yeah, it'll that'll do it for them.

Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
I won't go through the entire NFL standings and who
won and lost yesterday and break it all down with
our guy Ben Laber and by the way, Muslin on
his way in as well.

Speaker 5 (01:10:06):
