what I'm talking about on the SEC sound when college
football comes on.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Oh yeah, it's the best. No, I don't know what
you mean, but okay, it's like the happiest. It's the
best Christmas music for me. Because the sun goes down
in about an hour. It's yeah, man, anywhere it's about five.
He got a hoodie. Oh he got the best. You
probably had some chili.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
Your bloody Saturday into Sunday of football is there's nothing better.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's still dark when you're driving the workout, so somebody
can't see inside your car.
Speaker 6 (01:47):
Yeah, you could start cranking away, Dare and bloody Mary.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
Sure sounds like boots in the dryer. The dryer is brilliant.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
This coach feels like it was made if I can't
believe that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
It looks great on Max.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
You ever see how you you're supposed to tie like
the shoes on the outside like tie a knot, so
like they don't bang around in there and they don't
go in a circle.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
There's like, no, I've never seen that there's a hack.
We'll seek a trick. Yeah could I did you try
to vests on too?
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I'm about to do that in a minute. Uh huh
you mean just a magic mic those things?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, like I think take it a better fit. You
got to take your whole top off. I'm so honored
that you want to see me. I saw your top
off this weekend. It was great. Yeah you did, didn't you?
By the way, is there a chance that Tommy just
bought these at rags? Talking put on some car? Why
(02:50):
don't you a card, my friend? Why don't you try
on this mesh tank top? You love you? Why don't
you be over and pick stuff up around it? Well?
What it meant a lot to him if you whale tail.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
My lap?
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Chris is like, what not?
Speaker 8 (03:11):
My insisted you wear this candy.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Okay, there's the best time here you go's it? That's sweet,
that's smart, that is nice. They got some buttons on
there too. Yeah you need help. Yeah, it looks like
you're going to the blue Oyster in the police.
Speaker 8 (03:37):
Academy like Stone Cold Steve Boss.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
Oh hell yeah, you know the village people could use
a new com.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Too soon. He passed it back there what happened? Man? Yeah,
you look like a leather daddy. You look good.
Speaker 9 (03:57):
The leather Daddy's such a great bin in h what's
that show with that got canceled because nobody got it?
You and charchs love it. Uh, it's funny. The Blue's
Blue arrested development.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
It's great. What do you mean? Yeah, it got canceled
because people didn't get it right. Wasn't that right because
it didn't have a laugh track and people weren't ready
for that kind of comedy? Ye, not until the office?
So good. It wasn't like he's though. Yeah, it came back.
Speaker 8 (04:34):
I think like after a while, like after several years
it came back, and I don't think people loved it.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
No, that was terrible. The ones that like from what
was it five? Six, seven years ago? That was brutal.
Season four was not good. One that went straight to Netflix. Yeah,
it's yeah. The first three seasons though specifically season two,
it's just unbelievable. So good. So, Cory, you're flying out Saturday? Yes, sir?
When does this like the tournaments start? I place Sunday?
(05:01):
So what are you doing Saturday night? Hanging out with
Zach for a little bit because Zach goes in Vegas
for a lenium at the Sphere Saturday. Well, I have
to kill some time. I got nothing to do until Sunday.
We should go out to dinner.
Speaker 8 (05:14):
Oh my god, you guys gonna light up a jay
real quick.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, what are you guys? No, Remember, Zacho doesn't like
to get completely obliterated for shows up the sphere. He
just wants to take a little edge off, but not
gon obliterate exactly. Enhand's not distract. Where would you guys go?
There's a I mean there's a lot of good spots.
Walk to canes. Yeah, you guys, I got pinkies. Pinky Yeah, stinkies.
(05:37):
You guys need to calm down. You guys need take
a lap.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I mean you and you and Zach. Don't be going
crazy like walking to the fast food joint.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah you all there. Hammers over five and a half
for the ghosts. That's the easiest lock in the history
of locks.
Speaker 9 (05:54):
Yeah, it's weird that it's that number five and a
half is solo.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Like, I think we're gonna have nine wins.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Go to the Harrow's outdoor bar and just get clobber.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
I love take pictures with the dudes and the cowboy hats.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
But it's gonna be like one hundred and seven. Make
have some fun.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
Showing your nuts starting out at that place is hard
to be.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah, it's so good, greatest some of the best times
in my life.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
The hogs at the same same after your wedding. That
was like a top five. That was moment ever, that
was so much. Yeah, Pizzas hit on everyone. Yes, yes
he did. Yeah he went to Pinky.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
If I just know, if I show the cowboy my nutsack,
Corey almost certainly won't show his nutsack, and I'll just
be sitting there with my nutsack out.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Things are getting real. What was just broadcast the last
time on this channel? Diary sounded like the narrator for
the Wonder Year.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
It's Martha.
Speaker 6 (07:08):
God, it's Martha, God, it's smart.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Just w mar mar here, God, it's Mark.
Speaker 6 (07:23):
It's seventy five cat lady.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Gentlemen pull their balls.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Out some Vegas cowboys's Vegas.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Because there dressed like that.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
I'm gonna have to vote for Sauce now or Tommy,
you could take this one.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Got just see your scene, Tommy? What what turned what
turned into Margaritaville?
Speaker 10 (07:58):
Do we know.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
I haven't been down there the couple times. Luke Bryan,
one of those guys took it over.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Doesn't that sound right? I think it was Puffy Combs. Okay,
because now that those country bars are getting big down there,
well just pass it if you like. The right next
to the Venetian now they opened like a giant five
guys in fries, like five guys, really massive, one right
on the strip. Five guys is so good. That's sweet.
(08:26):
You nailed it. Uh to.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
Look at you that's on stage, Get up right, come here,
come here.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I can't believe how wells with me, hogs Daddy, that's hot.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
Yeah, come on, let's see your armpits come down, sacks
and the arm pits my arm.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Oh sack. We don't think shame. What's in that spot?
Did you look it up? What's in the margin? Luke
Combs already open Fall of twenty six? Okay, okay, yeah,
that would be good. Yeah, that's cool man. Oh and
I saw three weeks ago. It's unbelievable. It's saying where
(09:13):
it is. It looks like it's on the street. It
does because that's where that's where the that's where the
strip curves right down by Mirage and t I. So
it truly looks like if you get a hotel room
facing the Strip from Hard Rocks, you're going to be looking.
You're going to be looking right down the street. It
looks so sick. God, I want to stay there immediately.
The balcony rooms that they have on that did you
(09:35):
see those? They have balcony rooms? Do it on the
side of the guitar? Really? Really? Oh that's game change.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Do you guess know is that a Harris property or
an MGM property or do we.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Know that's question? Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah, it's
a criminal that's right. Yeah, yeah, sweet. I'm a member
of that as well. Sure, And look I said this
a handful of times, but it was solidified when I
was couinc identally there for the Vegas Golden Knights victory parade,
right when they shut down Las Vegas Boulevard for the parade.
(10:07):
I truly hope in our lifetime that Las Vegas Boulevard
is car free and just pedestrians only. It would be
awesome to just walk up and down the strip without
just the sidewalks, no cars, No you can cross, there's
no streets to cross you just it's just essentially Bourbon Street,
the entire Vegas strip. They'll never do it, but they sweet, permanent,
(10:31):
permanently shut it down and just said just walk wherever
you want, and they put like vendors in the middle.
I think it could be so cool. I love that idea. Yeah,
I'm right, it would be. They could make way more
money if they did that too. Right, then all the
cabs and taxes would have to be on the backsides
of the buildings, but still it would be a gigantic transformation.
They're dropping you off anything a lot of times, and
(10:53):
you're walking around with drinks.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
And if they put some kind of like overpass thing,
you know, like so the taxi and cars could go
over top of it at something you.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Know, or have elon keep doing those tunnels and just
do the tunnel so they go underneath the Las Vegas Boulevard. Well,
I don't know, the U just let's shut her down.
It was awesome to just walk the street for a
couple of hours without having to worry about cars. We're
supposed to the news, but we had distracted. So that's cool.
Ain't no thing.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
But I do have this for you. The Saint Paul
Saints bring you the news and they have some fireworks
going on here. I want to talk to you about
let me see here. Derek sent me a text here.
Oh gee, that's not gonna work, okay. The two hundred
and fiftieth Weekend celebrating America's two hundred and fiftieth Weekend,
(11:38):
presented by Northern four Dealers fireworks and two for one
cans and two dollars select drafts tonight at seven o seven.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Bucks two bucks. Hard to beat that. You can't beat it, No,
you can't. And then let's see then on the.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Third Tomorrow, the weekend continues with a Monster Food Truck
Rally well super fireworks that's six o seven and then
on Saturday Monster Food Truck Rally as well six or
seven and.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Super fireworks as well.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
So all weekend long, huge fireworks for the two fifty weekend.
Uh the Saint Paul Saints shs Field. You want some fireworks,
you want to have a good time, you want some
some two dollars draft beers. Get on down there, and
my right, m let's go. So thank you Saint Paul Saints.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Thank you, Derek.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
I hope I said that right if I didn't please
correct me.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Let's go. Don't say that you got to go. You
don't have to go. You can't leave, big boy job,
you can't leave. You know. I'll do one more. Oh yeah,
I'll do one more, all right? Sauce with sports right
after this powers who fans Hocky you know, mmm, game
(12:52):
dame man. That's the reason I'll listen through the usually
a superf you were if you weren't listening through the break.
So at the end of the Game Day Men's Health commercial,
love that spot. Yeah, So Chris walks over with about
four seconds to go in the spot and just farts
(13:13):
on Sauce's shoulder, speaking of boots and a dryer. That's
what it sounded like it.
Speaker 10 (13:18):
But if you if you didn't know, if you weren't
watching the stream, if you were just listening, it might
have sounded like Sauce farted and then he immediately goes
superstar wise, So it sounded like he farted and called
himself a superstar and then.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Said Game Day Men's Health, They're great, and then moved on.
It was like, wow, out of context, what a weird
end of that spot. Imagine it's like the salesperson has
to send that clip off to like the client and
they're like, let's see how this one went. Yeah, you
mentioned that, Yep, we can help with balls, you have
help and glp ones, yep.
Speaker 10 (13:50):
Ye didn't didn't care for the end work where he
went full on narcissist mode and was a.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Well that's the mic super Start used to fart into. Yes, exactly,
we get it, but I don't know if the clients
are gonna get out. Hey, that's why you listen during
the commercial breaks. You never know what's gonna happen, an accident.
Speaker 11 (14:09):
I will still say, I will still say the hardest,
the hardest we have ever laughed in the history of
the show, history of the show was.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
When you said Shnado O'Connor during a commercial and we yeah,
it was a thirty or sixty second spot. We laughed
for two and a half minutes. That was the longest
commercial break in the history of the fan because of
that spot was so long. That was so good. We
were all wiping away tears. And that was during a
commercial break, not even the actual content of the show.
Speaker 9 (14:41):
That was so good. Yeah, listen to Shnado like that
that's not her name. Yeah, that was brilliant.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
You thought her name was Shenado dot dot Hannah. I'm
not smart man. That was good, thank you, But you
know what, you can redeem yourself by doing sports.
Speaker 8 (14:59):
All right, it's time for a fan five on the
power Trip.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
The USA beat Bosnia to nothing to advance to the
round of sixteen for only the second time. They battle
Belgium on Monday at seven pm.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Slightly incorrect, let's back up. So that's the second knockout
round win. But again now it's thirty two instead of sixteen.
So we've been to the round of the sixteen more
than twice. This is just our second knockout round win
in first in two thousand and two.
Speaker 9 (15:28):
Okay, but you're on the right path. They battle Belgium
on Monday at seven pm. What do you like about Belgium?
They're waffles and you can do this.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
It's the you can do this. What's the what's the
what's the city you can I hope you can name
from Belgium. I no idea, man, because that gives it away.
As soon as I say it, you're going to know
exactly where I'm going with this. No idea.
Speaker 9 (16:04):
Brussels is in Belgium. Oh, Yeah, that's where the muscles
from Brussels. Jean Claude, David's favorite.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Act Vandamn is from Belgium all the time.
Speaker 8 (16:13):
French fries also from Belgium, that's right, Which is strange?
Speaker 2 (16:17):
That would be like I've taken France. Do you guys
know the new euphemism for French fries? Can you say that?
You know? Go on, it's like a sexual thing. What
could it be? I don't know what that means? How
could it be? What? Yeah, so that's what they say
in Love Island all the time. Now, who like, we're
having French fries? Really? And it stands for you guys.
Got to look. I don't know if I can say it. Oh,
(16:38):
I got it. Yeah, it's it's it's kind of a
dumb one. They say it all the time now. It's
my guest is based on a quick Google search and
AI overlook or overview. It's essentially that fries are if
you have a handful of fries in a row, they
kind of look like a bunch of fingers. So that's
where this is going. Yeaddy, Tommy nailed it. French prise
(17:01):
is a slang term popularized by the reality TV show
Love Island, USA. It's a plateful code word sometimes used
by contestants to refer to various intimate acts, primarily ones
involving those specific parts.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
It's a good season there, Thomas unbelievable dude seeing on
the show.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Bryce is very good looking.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
There, everyone's just jacked hot, young and then they just
throw them on.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Then they all make out with each other and okay,
love Island, and there's one couple that's really in love.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Yeah, there's one guy that has a really deep voice.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
You need help, No other couple. Yeah, I mean, okay,
good show. Meg.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
The Stallion was on there the other day.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Meg, that lady Oh wow, yeah yeah, yeah, sure, sure,
okay you guys. And then once they go on here
the shock. Hey exactly yeah, exactly four. Za's got a type.
You can tell he follows Bryce on Instagram? Does he? Yeah?
What the hell was that? I'm not sure. But like,
(18:17):
if you go on the show, you instantly get like
a million followers on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
You become massively famous because it's every day, so they
have a new show.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
Every day other than Wednesday. Are you kidding? They're producing
every day filming. It's pretty cool. I would like it
or not for real. Do you think it's so much content?
I don't think you can keep up. You're too busy,
Like you have to watch it every day. Yeah, I
ain't doing that. It's a lot and you like vote
for the couple.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Yeah, sure, sure, and then if you win, you win
like five hundred grand or fifty grand.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
I'm fairly interested in following my own life day to day,
but there's a lot of making out. It's a good
like gateway, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, it kind of
gets your own good gateway.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
You know how Twitter is like a gateway before you
go on you know, like porn, you know, take a
gateway drug, right, it's a spark, Yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
A trust tree.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jalen Brown to
Philly for Paul George, two first.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Round picks and two second round picks Maxell. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:17):
So it's pretty unbelievable. Like we talked about earlier, I mean,
the Celtics and the seventy six Ers are mortal enemies
pretty much ever since the two franchises started, and they,
i mean let the speculation run wild because they must
have really really disliked Jalen Brown to trade them for
basically nothing to their longtime rival that just bounced them
(19:39):
from the playoffs. But now, I mean Jalen Brown and
Tyrese Maxy together that's going to be a crazy combination.
And the seventy six Ers are just kind of vaulted
up that ranking in the Eastern Conference on DraftKings.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They went from sixty to one to win the title
to twenty to one to win the title. Yeah, because
that's starting five. I don't know if they're deep enough.
I don't know the rest of the Sixers bench that's
our five is legit. Yeah, if em Bead's healthy, you
have embiid Edgecombe, Maxie, Jalen Brown, and I forget who
the fourteenth wad. Yeah, Dean Wade is honestly at the four.
That's a really good starting good team, really good starting
(20:14):
five Brown on that roster.
Speaker 8 (20:15):
And now the Celtics just got significantly weaker. The Pistons
still didn't get help for Cad Cunningham, so it looks
like the Nicks in the seventy six ers. It's going
to be a two horse race between those two teams.
You know, at the moment.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
Mike Conley is leaving your Wolves to sign a one
year deal with Speaking of the Celtics, he will play.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
He will be the fourteenth player in NBA. Oh sorry,
that's all right. That's what exactly what I was going
to do, but I didn't tell you I was going
to have you guess how many players in NBA history
have hit twenty seasons? Fourteen? He'll be the fourteenth.
Speaker 8 (20:50):
Wow, Yeah, I bet I bet most of them are recent, right,
more recent?
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Most of them are. Conley's not a good example because
I think he had one year at Ohio State. Maybe
I think so. But almost all of the ones that
go twenty plus, or the kids that were like high school,
you got to start young. Turan was in that draft.
Is he hitting his twentieth season this year? We must? Yeah?
And t mac Durant. I think there's like three or
(21:17):
four guys left from the seven draft.
Speaker 8 (21:19):
Curry, Yeah, he's getting up there.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Bron. I think I read it was like Jeff Green, Conley, Durant,
and one other guy who I'm forgetting that. There's like
four remaining from that seven class. Al Horford, Horford. There
you go, sweet, Vince Carter made a twenty two seasons.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Hey yea, And Thomas has to leave after the segment.
So can I bring up something real quick?
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yeah, not to.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Derail sports, but we can do more in a minute. Thomas, Uh,
when did you graduate.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
From high school? Twenty eleven? Twenty eleven.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
Okay, so nineties college football wasn't much for you, then.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Go No, I was all in why you were all about.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Because I'm the athletic put out the list of the
twenty five greatest college football players from the nineteen nineties.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Oh sweet, so cool. So can we see if we
can spike some of these?
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Yeah, the full list to twenty five from the nineteen
ninety All right, hang out, let's think this through.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
That is a little bit before my time. Yes, that's
what I figured out on that list for sure.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Me see, I'm sure he is, but let me see
where he's at here. And again, this is based on
rand College.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Crouch, Randy Crouch, Tim Crouch, Tim Couch. Randy. By the way,
Randy was number five. Where's Manning looking? Looking? Peyton? Manning
is number nine? Steve Walsh, it's too early, that's too early.
Who's the obvious ones that were in spaghetti fimetime? Dion,
(22:51):
I'm trying to think of like he's before that too.
I'm trying to think of, like the the ones who
were specifically college football players, like Charlie Ward who like
kicked ass in college but maybe didn't have a great
pro career. Yeah, there's some of those, for sure. Is
Charlie Ward on that list? I believe Charles Woodson Woodson,
for sure? He was unbelievable. Maybe like Warren Sapp.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yeah, Charlie Ward number seven for the state quarterback?
Speaker 2 (23:18):
There you go? Uh Desmond, Yeah, Desmond Howard A good call? Yeah,
he was the beast? What about what about cord Well
Stewart could call? Oh, Dusty mont who was the quarterback
for the Gators when they won in ninety six. What's
that kid's name, Danny Warful, Danny Wrefol number fourteen? What
(23:38):
about Ricky Ricky? Yeah that was ninety nine, right, so yeah,
Ricky Williams should be on that list? Was LT or
is a heel? That was after that? Before that? Well,
I'm kind of like Dan Tomlinson you're talking about, right,
that was after So.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
I'm just gonna tell you guys, because I'm lost with
how many of you said, get you ready?
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Number one? Charles Woodson?
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Yeah, I mean, there's no best no right cornerback, wide
receiver and kick returner.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
You kidding? Seven Heisman Trophy winner. One guy's been on defense.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Seven interceptions, eleven catches for two and thirty one yards
and two t d's and one rushing touchdown and one
punt return touchdown. Number two Orlando Pace, I mean, come on,

Georgia cornerback, wide receiver, kick returner.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Oh Tam Bailey Champ Bay so good. Yeah, he was.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
One of the greatest. For this guy is one of
the greatest pro and college players ever. Miami linebacker ray
lewis Man. Talk about a scary man.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
You didn't see anything, he didn't say it. How about
that here?
Speaker 3 (26:00):
How about Arizona defensive lineman Treil Suggs.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
No, no, he was Arizona State, Arizona defensive line. Yeah. Man, yeah,
it's about Teddy Brusky. Yeah he was in his college
courses DL. Yeah, I don't. I have no memory of
him from college either. It's all pros. Here's a name
(26:24):
I don't I'm sure I would. I don't know. Florida
State linebacker Tim Derek Brooks. Yeah no, this one's Marvin Jones.
Oh yeah, dude, I met that guy down at the
New Amsterdam. He and I struck up a conversation and
pull your hands up. Rosie's here a week.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
From Yes, yeah, you said to Florida quarterback, quartz back
Danny Whirfel. Yeah, let's see a number fifteen is Michigan
wide receiver, kick returner Plexico.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
No, that's Michigan, Michigan. Oh Braylan Edwards and it's not
even hour. Yeah, okay, said, so here you go.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Here's what I don't remember either, North Carolina cornerback corner.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
What years would be? Yuh abo? About ninety six? It
was his best season, North Carolina corner Yeah, and name
it just barely on my brain.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Dre blygh Oh yeah, he played yeah for the Rams. Yeah,
number seventeen. Miami defensive tackle warrants saddamn right, yeah, oh.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Yeah, here you go.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Washington defensive tackle. God, I forgot about this guy. Washington
defensive Yeah, nineteen ninety one was his big year. So
we're talking a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Washington. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
They want to share of the national title partly because
of this kid.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
No, that's not Russell Maryland, is it?
Speaker 7 (27:48):
No?
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Wait? Wait, where did he play? I think he played
at Maryland?
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Steve Empman, Oh yeah yeah, usc offensive tackle number nineteen.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
He was, Oh, come on, you got this. I believe
he went to the Hall of Fame in the NFL
as well. I think, by the way, Wressell Maryland played
for the Hurricanes, not Maryland, Maryland lineman for USC Yeah,
hold on what year? That just says early nineties. I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
How about Syrahcuse quarterback mcdonovan mcnath.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Yeah, he was great until he just fell apart here basically, Yeah,
that's college quarterback Mike. Wasn't he the second overall pick?
I think it's right.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Let's see almost done. Number twenty one running back out
of Ohio State. Come on, Maurice Robert Smith, come on now,
George Eddie, George Heisman Trophy.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
I was in the two thousands. He was drinking at practice. George,
he was I was drinking at practice. He was a freshman,
he was a dog. He was great and they fell apart.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
What number twenty two is a Northwestern linebacker? U right, yep,
I don't remember this guy in the Nebraska offensive lineman
Will Shields.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Oh he played for the City Chiefs, right, yeah, the
chief I think so. At the end. Yeah, this kid
man one of the most dominant linebackers Penn State. Ohho
was he not higher? I don't know. He was so
good we kicked it over him to beat and copy
(29:32):
blocked j Cuppy block.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
And then twenty five is the time between Aaron Taylor
out of Notre Dame and Jonathan Ogden out of YEA.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Jonathan Ogden's Hall of Famer Aaron Taylor was outstanding. That's
a really cool.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
I'll tell you what, Tommy. I'm on the Athletic right now.
They've got a couple of articles getting ready for college
football season. One of them is, let's see they watched
ten games from the ninth Oh yeah, here, I watched
ten college football games from the nineteen nine these here's
what has changed.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Oh I haven't read the article. Yeah yeah, Can we
go back to that list quickly? Yeah? Yeah, twenty five guys.
It felt like I wasn't keeping track of my head,
but just if I had gut reaction out about half
of them felt like Hall of famers and the other
half were busts. Yeah yeah, for the pro to the
to the pros, I agree. It's just crazy how the
twenty five best even it's like a fifty percent success
(30:25):
rate and over the best of the best. Danny warfol
was a huge host. Hoggs. Hoggs, Daddy, you.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
Know how you were talking to Ben about bye week
and going to a game.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah, I would absolutely love to do. How great would
that be? Be? The best? I need to go to
SEC football game I've never been. Let's do it. I
would love Let's dude, let's do it. Okay, we've got
to do it. I'm all in most most of all

Yeah that'll be good. Yeah, we were negotiating things over here. Sorry,
were they come.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Thomas Best? I can tell you I met. I looked
out from the stage during sound check and he was
standing out there and I'm like this, this party just
turned up a notch. And then I watched him leaving
before we even started the very first song.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Buddy, Okay, it's all right. I didn't blame him, didn't
blame him. It's good night. What song did you play?
We played all the songs, spend it all day in
like Bgonzo. No, I didn't play that, I guess so,
but we do, uh play this song. It's time for
Vikings news on the Power Trip presented by We have
(32:32):
enough time? Are you voice? Texting again? Just to get
it all in? Uh, let's go around the room. Paul
gave any Vikings news. No, Chris, no Zach. That's not
j J. McCarthy related. Well No. Then an Instagram post
(32:56):
what's it? What's to say? It says he likes this
Alo brand. Yeah, so yeah, there's no Vikings. There's no
Vikings new.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
So there's another article on the Nil turning five years
old this week that I read that was really interesting.
Didn't realize there have been five years, but now I
think about it.
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Did you see the biitthowk about the new college football
game that if you give somebody like an offer they
can leave in that video game for more nil money.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
That's going to make it impossible to play that game.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, it is. I can't wait, though, I can't wait
to play that. I think it comes out today if
you pre ordered it, which you did, I can't wait. Yeah, yeah,
I have. I have tomorrow morning off.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Yeah, and as far as anybody out there listening knows,
I'm busy.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I can't wait. I cannot wait.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
I will like that game for about two weeks, and
then I'll never play it again.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Right, Yeah, that's how I do it. Forget your money's worth? Yeah, man,
that's right, that's exactly.
Speaker 5 (33:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
It is fun for about two weeks. But so think
about this, for the people that are ripping Rockstar for
the prices they're about to charge for GTA six, Chris,
you're gonna spend what sixty or seventy bucks on college
footb Yeah? Play it for two to three weeks, right,
I think he I think it was one hundred. OK,
so it's a hundred bucks for two or three weeks.
You're gonna get hundreds of hours for GTA six. Yeah,
(34:11):
worth every penny again. Uh, hit me two, put me
down for two. Yep, great superstar bit. I don't quite uh,
I don't quite understand it. I just saw some handful
of tweets in Charge was pretty steemed about it. Do
you guys see that the zach this is something you
would know so jump in PlayStation or Sony announced that
(34:32):
they are not going to sell physical copies of video
games here in the next year or two or three.
I forget exactly the timeline, but pretty soon, no more
physical copies at all. It's just over. Yeah. Yeah, it's
not real complicated at this point. It just they.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
I mean, it's been kind of shifting the whole market.
It's been shifting to all digital.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
I know. I think we talked about the GTA six.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
They are going to have physical like boxes, but inside
it's just going to be a code to type in
and you're just going to download.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
There's not going to be a disc in the disc case.
So it's all how everything's going. It's what does it
do for game stop that it kills them?
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah, that's hopefully you sold your stock when it was well,
especially when it was really really high, like your neighbor did.
But yeah, it's it's it's not good for those old
school gamers. It's not going to affect a lot of people.
It's one of those things. I think most people are
all digital. No, in fact, half of ball PlayStations don't
even have a disc drive. But it's it's a sad
(35:37):
day for the old school gamers.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Here's a couple of tweets though from Charge that that
I read yesterday and needed more context on, even though
they seem surfacing and understandable. Twenty two hours ago, you
said a reminder, though, when you quote buy a digital game,
the rights holder can at any time simply decide not
to let you play anymore. Yep, and they're doing that,
(35:58):
so why would they do that? Terrifying right now? That's
I bought it, it's mine and iked to say it's not.
And then the same thing. Twenty one hours ago, he
said he was retweeting an announcement that PlayStation is any
production of all physical games and discs for all new
games starting January of twenty twenty eight, and he said
this is just one week after Sony removed over five
hundred purchased movies from user's accounts. So same thing that
(36:22):
he just you know, just referenced with games at Sony's like, ah,
these five hundred are gone, Well I bought those. Yeah,
So he's saying there's some dark paths we can go
down here when it's only a digital copy and you
don't have a physical copy anymore. Yeah, even if that
is the way the world works. Now, this is some
of the things we're going to have to be dealing with.
Find the physical copy was great, but yeah those days
(36:45):
are over.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Yeap, So I guess I won't be able to watch
my DVDs on my new PlayStation.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
What DVDs do you?
Speaker 3 (36:50):
You know?
Speaker 2 (36:51):
No? Not those? All right, let's go around the room.
You know, last time you put a DVD or a
Blu Ray in an actual machine and watched it because
you selected the actual disc, not a streaming service.
Speaker 8 (37:07):
Go.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Mine was hold On. It was one of the it
was Avengers End game. There were a few copies of
it on like four K Blu ray that we had here,
and I think Ryan gave me one and I watched
Was that not twenty nineteen seven years ago? Corey? I
honestly don't remember. I don't remember either. I really don't
(37:29):
remember doing it. I definitely so, you know, my youngest
is twelve. She definitely her pre school era had We
had a lot of DVDs and Blu rays that were
in kids' movies, So definitely those I don't remember as
an adult for myself, picking one sense that and so
that's at least that's seven years for sure. I'm in
(37:49):
that same range. I can't think of one. It was
probably for me, it was probably a red box like
rental thing. I loved those. Yeah, those were those things
were awesome. They were just outside of McDonalds. Yeah, buck
so good. Yeah, man, d that was fun. Those were
good old days.
Speaker 5 (38:04):
Man.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
If it just seems like I don't know, maybe it's
because my kids were young, but it just feels innocent
and fun, you know.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Yeah, yeah, like it was.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
It was such a special thing to get the movie
you actually wanted because it was in you know.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
And now every one of us has a red box
essentially on our TV twenty four hours a day. You
do the same thing, you scroll through and you pick one.
It just doesn't come out of a machine. Yeah, hmmm,
crazy man. Times changed. Yeah, I still have a giant
like CD holder of of DVDs in Blu rays and
of course CDs, and it just collects dust. And once
(38:39):
in a while my wife will go, what are you
going to do with that? I go, I don't know.
It's just weird because I don't feel like they're never
going to be worth anything.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
You remember the big picture, So what do I do
with them? Picture albums we used to have when you
had physical pictures and you would put.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Them in that We call those album just photo albums.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Yeah, photo album Basically, that's what my storage unit is.
I have a storage unit that is a photo album.
I have all the VCR tapes Alex y when he
was a little boy. I have all the you know,
the DVDs we all watch together. I have all the
cassettes that I listened to as a kid. I have
clothes Alex had when he was a baby. And that's
it's it's my living testament that I was alive on
(39:14):
this earth. That's what my storage unit is. It's the craziest.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
And again, what sucks about all that outside of the
sentimental value, yeah, is you're never gonna flip those cassettes
for money. You're never gonna flip those VHSS for money,
if they're worth nothing. Yeah, they're just Eventually it's either
you're gonna throw them away or after you're dead, somebody's
gonna throw them away because there's nothing to do with them.
And I'm dealing with that every day. When I see
those in my basement, I'm like, what am I going
(39:39):
to do with these? Why do I have Mad Men
Season three on DVD? I'm never I'm never putting that
back in a DVD. I don't even own a DVD
player anymore.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
If somebody am I keeping that for If somebody ever
purchases my storage in it on that stupid TV show, they're.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Going to be pissed. Yah, o oh my gosh. The
fourth I gave one hundred and fifty dollars for this,
one hundred and fifty dollars for this, Samuel Hunter eight?
Who's banky?
Speaker 7 (40:09):
Is this?
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Every season of Scrubs? There's nine copies of Striper's first
album here Jean Loves Jess. I know you're gonna say
Jean loves jessebu the whole room could feel it. I
knew it. Yeah, I'm pretty Who is the guy that
won it? The guy that we're you gonna hout it
where you play that some guy from Ohio or something
(40:33):
was gonna get hooked up at the latest copy of
Winger and I'm going next y Jean loves Jezebel. All right,
that was Vikings News there go. Yeah, we will have
it when it's here, man. Yeah, and it ain't long
ay long where July.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Now, today's the second day of July, Ladies and gentlemen.
I believe the first team's report on the twenty first,
but you know what, enjoy your fourth of July. Then
put those shoes on. You're ready for football season.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
