Speaker 5 (03:09):
But again, I always trying to do this with the

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
I knew who he was, but I couldn't have really
told you what he did. I just knew he was famous.

the seventies nowadays.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
If it came out nowadays, you.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Might have been a trucker, but you I wouldn't google.
Speaker 5 (04:15):

Yeah, wow, that's.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
You're just gonna go on to the field in golfing

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, it's exactly Wednesday. I know that, and I know
it's the best ticket in the business. So Saints Baseball
dot Com uh hs field versus the Indian Indians.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Today and one of it's make a wish Day.
Speaker 1 (05:05):

That's correct, Yes, fantastic, great.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, I don't I don't know what the update was
as of twenty four hours ago, but did you guys
see I think the Star Tribune wrote a story that
in the nine games that Royce Lewis.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Has been down in the miners. Yeah, it was something
like nine games, five home runs and he was hitting
something like three twenty four. Yeah, so lighting it up
in the miners.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Maybe that's the start of something new, we'll see. Yeah,
maybe that's why you send him down, right, just go
crush five home runs in nine games and come back.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
That kid, Kaylan Culpeper is one of their prospects that
Bonie was always telling us about Homer. Yesterday too.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
He is well, and I don't think you'll remember, but
you made a bet with Bonus about a kid playing
in the major leagues before a certain year.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
I wonder what his his status is.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Was it kaln Culpepper?
Speaker 4 (05:58):
No, I think it was a picture. Oh, I don't
remember who.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I'm sure Bets knows that. Yeah, although I listened to
Bets and Quotes podcast last week and he's very angry
to Corey for.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
What did I do? You were reniggad on Bets, Well, no,
sauceted Saat blame both of you, and then I just
backed out of one. Just a troll on Sometimes I
think they hate the show, which I'm glad you did
because it looks like Vegas is going to win. I
know it's one game, but Caroline is better Indiana. Well,
(06:30):
we're also what we're also a week and change into
the World Series of Poker and no Minnesota bracelet so far,
so so far. You backed out of that that and
you'd be winning that bet so far? Yeah, man, Sorry,
And again you love cheering against Minnesota. You just say
it on the radio so everybody can hear. You would
like nobody from Minnesota to win a bracelet. This summer.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
No, I don't. I want two people to win one.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
It can't be me, And I'm sure you want Blake
to win, but it can't be who's the other one?
And Blake?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
And who Ian the the guy from Fairbaw where they
don't get Channel four.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Oh, he was here on the Yes, he was here
on Roseen Sandwich Day, Sandwich Day and again sneakily. My
favorite part was when Rosie said Ian Matacus didn't know
who he was because they probably don't get Channel four
in fare Beau. I mean otherwise, argue, it's impossible to
not know Mark unless they don't get Channel four in
fare beauco did.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
We ever double check that? I mean they have to
get CCO. I mean it's like an hour I agree,
But did.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
We ever officially one billion percent confirment? Because everybody with
the brain thinks that it's the case, But did we
ever confirm it? They have to they have to have to.
Speaker 7 (07:41):
Day that TV markets so I don't know.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Well, no, it's a very year. Yeah, they have it,
and they've had it the entire time.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
Looking at a TV guide, Well, hold on, looking at
a TV guide, K I MT, what's that? And channel
it's Mason City, Rochester. They they might not have it. Lord, wow,
you guys doubt.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
All right, hang on here, we can also do it
this way. We have a billion listeners in Fairbeau. Just
ask us a lot of people in Fairwell.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Yeah, that's a lot. What I think.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Ian Mitakas is like twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight
years old, somewhere in that range. So for the last
let's say quarter century, has Fairball had Channel four TV?
Let us know, tweet at us, email us Texas whatever.
Just let us know if you live in Fairbeau how
long they have had Channel four? Just out of curiosity, I.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Bet you that, yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Or do they only get Ian doing the news or
the weather? Ian Leonard Ian Leonard.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
Yeah, that was confusing because we were talking about the
other Ian. Yeah, no, I realized once I said at
my how many Ian's do you know? Well?
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Ianas Swan Ian Leonard that's two in Middleton Ian Youngstead,
Great Coulture three four.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yeah sure yeah, sure.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Max bird Man true, Yeah that's his real name, little
known fact.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I was more holiday Ian ye Manny fresh holiday Ian brilliant.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
That's real good.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
That's in the South.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Yeah, Holiday Yan all right, time for the news that've
been doing the news.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
That's a weird story that I need to find out
more about. A horse stabbing suspect.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
What a start to a sentence. My god, could he
not get down the mountain?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Might be charged as an adult. The Clark County District
Attorney's office is the teenage girl is facing a dozen charges.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
I lost a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Same, yeah, I have same.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Those include malicious torture, maiming, and or killing of an animal.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
What the hell?
Speaker 1 (09:58):
On Saturday, three horses were injured with a sharp object
at a barn next to the South Point Casino.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
Go on, you have our attention.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
That's where a weekend barrel racing competition was taking place.
The horses survived their injuries, but they were unable to
compete in the event. The one horse owner that's that's
not a horse. Yeah, that one's pretending not to be
a horse.
Speaker 8 (10:26):
No, look, Noddy, that damn horses barking.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
One horse owner called the seventeen year old suspect a stalker.
So when I first read the drivers like, well, this
obviously must be a woman. Who's you know, what's the
Nancy Carrigan situation?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Right?
Speaker 1 (10:43):
She stab at other people's horses, so they can't beat her.
But time to get stabbing, right, grab your knives anyway,
But apparently that's not the case. She's a stalk. I
don't know, weird.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Have you been to that?
Speaker 5 (11:04):
It took a way mo right past it? Waved, Yeah,
waved that.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
The lady stepped.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Yeah, lady, stop stepping those horses.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Stop.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
I'd love to get out and forcefully stop you, but
I'm on my way to waved people.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Man.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Speaking of By the way, Vegas, MGM Resorts is now
considering a buyout offer of eighteen billion dollars.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
Yeah, what's going on the Vegas trip? Because again we
talked about Tilman Fertiita buying Caesar's Right for something like
seventeen or eighteen billion. Now MGM's on the line too,
that's right. What are we doing here?
Speaker 1 (11:34):
It offers from Barry Dillers Company, People Inc.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
The offer.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Great magazine, Yeah exactly, it's that website.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
That offer comes days after Caesar's Entertainment accepted a buyout
offer from the Texas billionaire behind the Golden Nugget. People Inc.
Already owns a twenty six percent steak in MGM Resorts.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
I have.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
I don't know this industry even remotely well enough to know,
like if this is a good thing, bad thing?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Who knows?
Speaker 5 (12:02):
I believe, isn't. I think Tillman Furtida is taking Caesar's
private though, correct, Like I believe he's buying it and
the stock will not exist. I think he's taking the
company private.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
I believe that is happening to one of our radio
competitors company as well.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
Is that right? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Yeah, And I don't know if that's I would guess
that's a positive thing because you then you don't have
to worry about the.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
The investors, right, you know. Yeah, But yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
I don't know if this is good for Vegas or
bad for Vegas. We'll see, I guess.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I know.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
Experts can speculate. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Yeah, I'll tell you what though. I keep listening to
the that Sigfried and Roy podcast, and man, hey, Vegas
back in the day used to just be filthy.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
Oh yeah, I mean wow, and not that long ago,
not that long years ago, was right? That was an
oasis of heaven.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
They talked to the doctor who saved his life when
he got there, and I mean literally the tiger almost
tore his head off his body. It's unbelievable, man, I mean,
I know it's unbelievable. Well that sounds very cute. Yeah,
(13:19):
it's cool. By the way, the name of the tigers
was Monte core. Yeah you know what that what that is?
I think it's Swahili for neck, very close man eater,
and they named it that. And by the way the
story goes, then when that that tiger was born, they
(13:41):
were there because they were, you know, going to add
them u the kittens, and it wasn't breathing. So Roy,
the one who almost got his head ripped off, gave
it mouth to mouth and and and saved its life.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Butterfly effect right, nobly regretting that move. Now let that
one die, lady.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
So again, not that long ago, Parker Fox and Max
and Zach Calverson. Not that long ago. Oh, twenty fifteen,
twenty twenty five years ago, you could go to Vegas
and at MGM Grand there was a lion exhibit in
the casino.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
You could go see.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Live lions just right next to the casino and you'd
be like, cool, those are the lions.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
When they like the lion show. You could go to
the mirage and there would be the white tigers and
you'd be like, whoa, they are the white tigers and
say Freed and Roy. And there were animals, and then
somebody said, why are we spending hand over fist to
keep these animals just in a glass cage? Put slot machines.
There were wasting square footage? What are we doing?
Speaker 3 (14:42):
And get the train machine and guess who wants to
see cute animals and tigers and lions.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Families, Get families.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Out of Las Vegas.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
They had a push farm for a while.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
They did.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
They tried, we went when it was like a they
tried to be Disneyland. They have rides at every casino,
amusement parks.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Oh yeah, they were like, what are we doing?
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Everybody's the goals here arcades. Yeah, it was sweet.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
It has to work to a level though, right where
it's like, oh I stopped every time. I thought it
was awesome as that it worked.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Out, especially crazy to see him.
Speaker 9 (15:11):
There was something that got him out of there before
the dispensaries were open.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
Yeah, fair, but esventially, especially the the lion like babies,
the cubs, unbelievable. I'll stand there for ten minutes and
watch baby lions jump around for a second or two
before I go lose all my money? Did it every time?
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Yeah, different, you're gonna lose it anyways. Well take some cubs.
He get a lion for a minute or two every.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Now and again, and hell's gentleman would get in there
and they'd eat them. House trying to be politically Wow
is that what we call I don't know, I'm trying.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
He means a homeless person. That street walker. Yeah, a
tram that was over the line. You don't know where
the line is?
Speaker 4 (15:58):
What me? That's a new Yeah, that was good. I
like when you do that again.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
There's nothing better than when you walk over there one
of those pedestrian bridges and there's a guy holding a
sign that just says bleep, you give me money?
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
Or the guy this guy's bold. I might give him
a couple of bucks. He just he just swore at
me with a sharpie.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Or the guy in the megaphone screaming about the lord.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
Yep, how we're all sinning like.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Pa, Yeah, I gotta I'm going to slot machines. Move
there's a walking machine over there.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Get out of the way.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
I just wonder if anybody in the history of those
megaphone listeners has ever been coming down the escalator and
some guy's yelling at you in a megaphone, going, you're
all going to hell. This whole city is the devil,
and you go, what am I doing in this Vicas
got it? He's right, he's right. Why did I come
here time this year?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Sometimes I'm like that, Yeah, he was like that.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
It was like that after he pointed me to the
Bonus machine and I want to Chris, just.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Army crawls to him, going to just take me every.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Video crawl across. There is no God.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Yeah, I mean that game delivered.
Speaker 7 (20:29):
We were, you know, very excited hockey fans to see
these two teams together, and they produced one hell of
a hockey game. You know, the early goals twenty five
seconds and to get things going, and then early gold
in the second, even an early goal in the third
and just coming out of the gates flying. The Golden
(20:51):
Knights become the first team in NHL history to stage
a multi goal comeback on the road in Game one
of the Stanley Cup Finals, so that is nuts. It
is the first time they also scored a goal in
the opening seconds of both the first and the second
period in any game in Stanley Cup Final history.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
So just wild start.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
It's going to continue on Thursday, I would imagine, and
uh hopefully maybe for six five more games after that.
I'd love to see this thing go to go the distance.
Because entertaining hockey, entertaining teams, and we're all having fun
and it's on the fan too, so Helly, John Foorsland's
doing a great job. I think Eddie oh is on
the call as well, so it's great.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Frank five Island.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
Yeah, oh gosh, Frank five five Land and Scottie six
Lands yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Sass, you do one, Me do one?
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Eddie Eightland, got it? Nancy Nineland. Nancy Ninland would hawk
tof Tenland?
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Yeah, I hate that guy.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Elliott Elevenland two step twelve and Parker. Do you ever
ask why you come in?
Speaker 5 (22:03):
No? I always enjoy it, good, good, good good, even
the last twenty seconds. I don't know what was going
on there.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
But the NBA Finals, Max and Parker start tonight. It'll
be between the Spurs and the Knicks. Game time is
seven thirty. The first two games will be in San Antonio.
When your Spurs are four and a half point favorites.
Speaker 6 (22:26):
Yeah, I don't think Eastern Conference team has been favorited
in the NBA Finals for like the last eight years,
and twenty eighteen mightbe the last time that happens. So, yeah,
the Spurs are definitely favorites and they should win this series.
But the New York Knicks are the hottest team in basketball.
They won eleven straight. They all can defend, they all
can shoot, so it's.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
Gonna be a really good series.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
But at the end of the day, the Spurs have
Victor Wembenyama and he's the difference makers.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
So on that note, how do you feel about the
You know, Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks has
a busted finger that's huge, and he only plays something
like fifteen twenty minutes a game. But the whole theory
is is that he's the one that can just do
the Hartenstein kind of angle, just body up Wenby and
be as physical as possible.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
If you don't have him, then it's almost all on
what Kat to stay out of foul trouble and try
to do his best on Wenby. So that's a huge
defensive So different bodies at him.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
For sure, you're gonna see ogn and Obi on him.
You're gonna see obviously Karl Twents on him. But the
Mitchell Robinson thing is huge, and you're right, he only
plays fifteen to twenty minutes, but like he's so valuable
to this team, and he doesn't really do anything on
the offensive end. He really just stays out of the way.
But the things that he does defensively in the hustle
stats and then just matchup wise, they're really gonna miss that.
So if you're Wemby, you're looking your chops, You're like, hey,
(23:41):
I don't have anybody on this team that can defend me.
I'm go I'm gonna go at these guys and if
New York you're gonna have to find somebody, like You're
gonna have to find somebody to step up.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
It's the NBA Finals. Somebody is gonna have to make place.
So what's your series prediction? I got the Spurs and
six Spurs and six six. Yeah, I agree with Parker.
Speaker 9 (23:57):
It's it's gonna be a really interesting matchup in like, uh,
the Spurs have all the guards and the and the
forwards to match up pretty much with all of the
Knicks players. I do think Karl Anthony Towns is going
to be an underrated little piece here, sort of like
obviously it didn't work super effectively, but sort of like
nas Reed kind of was able to draw Wemby out
of that painted area when the Wolves and the Spurs played,
I think Karl Anthony Towns can do the same and
(24:19):
maybe open up some driving lanes there for Jalen Brunson
and and Michael Bridges possibly and Oji Ed ANDOPI has
been incredible. I think he has like the Highes shooting
percentage of any player in the NBA playoffs this uh
this year. So He's been absolutely incredible. It's gonna be
it's gonna be a really fun matchup. But it's just
hard to bet against the Spurs with how how deep
that team is and how motivated they seem to be.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
Yeah, I'd love to see Ka get a ring though, Yeah,
hell absolutely yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Hm uh.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Drake London the Falcons wide receivers. His signing a four year,
one hundred and forty million dollars deal could be up
to one hundred million million guarantee, makes him the third
highest paid wide.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Receiver twenty four years old, A third high Wow, yep.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Who's gonna be throwing him the ball this year too?
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Probably too?
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Until you're satisfied, Yeah, probably, yeah, probably. I mean Pennix
is hurt all the time. Old when they drafted him.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
This is sold.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Let's see old Pennix.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
The Twins Hogs Daddy have now won two straight.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Now we're talking, brother.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
They beat the White the White Sox six four. The
Twins are twenty nine and thirty three. It's the last
game of this series today at twelve forty tas Bradley
goes for your twin.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
You're Chelte on Connor Prelub's Night.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
Connor did a good job.
Speaker 10 (25:40):
I mean, he settled back down, he had the tough inning,
and then I think he went three ten pitch innings
in a row, which again, as we talk about signs
of growth, that's a sign of growth. It's probably I mean,
I don't know, that's probably the first time he's ever
pitched in the seventh inning in his professional careers. All right, yeah,
so I mean I thought he did a really good job.
And then you know, Bonda comes in, gets a big
punch on the situation, Gomi comes in, gets a big
punch out, and then Gomez there in the ninth having
(26:01):
to go through you know, Peters as a pinch hit
and Bargus, who's as hot as just about anybody we've seen,
and then get Montgomery.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
So overall was really pleased with our group. There you go,
I like that guy. Yeah, he messes, kicks ass. Yeah,
he's great.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
It was a great bit at the game yesterday. There
was these dudes in like the three hundred level. It
was like started off as like five dudes that had
their shirts off that were just kind of going crazy,
and then all of a sudden, like over time, then
five turned to ten to fifteen, and then pretty much.
The whole section was just filled with dudes with their
shirts off getting hype, and it was actually, it was
(26:36):
a really fun bit for a you know, not so tact.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
House tarps off.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
You could hear it being chanted when Corey provis was
trying to call the game, you could just hear tarps
off being changed.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
It was really funny, so good.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
And then there was a randomly a dude dresses George
Washington in the middle of all of them, and it
was great.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
Yeah, it was. It was so random, but it was
It was a good bit.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Yeah, Twins had a good tweet.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
There's like, what was our founding father doing here?
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (26:59):
Yeah, that was Uh. The World Cup starts tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Mexico will battle South Africa and then South Korea will
battle Chechia at nine pm.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
Yeah, formerly the Czech Republic.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Yeah, che Chechia. That'll be fun.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
Can't believe that that starts tomorrow and you don't feel
the hype.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
I mean, go World Cup?
Speaker 5 (27:25):
Who's gonna win World Cup?
Speaker 4 (27:27):
I think France is my pick.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Hawk.
Speaker 8 (27:30):
Who do you got, man, Corey? They have no zero
zero talking about zero say that to their faces. George Washington,
North Korea.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
Oh yeah, tarps off.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
You're always rooting for them.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
That's squad.
Speaker 9 (27:53):
Speaking of that, I just got a message from Abbott.
I think I have a meeting at nine.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Vikings newsdays next.
Speaker 7 (28:06):
From the one AF and welcome some great shows a
Treasure Island this year, including Great gabriel I Glacys on
July thirty first, Joe Batamasa on August fifteenth, and Snoop
Dog on September fifth. All the details of our content
our concert page at KFA dot com.
Speaker 5 (28:23):
Youwurd calendar. Thank you for your honesty.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Thank you for being honesty. That means a lot to us.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
Find him Harlet's do Vikings News. There's a couple of
things for Vikings News on the Power Trip presented by Leco.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
We'll start with this.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
A little over two hours from now, at ten o'clock,
the Minnesota Vikings will hold a press conference to introduce
their new GM Nolan Teasley. You can hear that right
here on the fan. Hell yeah, man. So he'll say
things and we will listen.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Yeah. And as you said the other day, if it's
good or bad, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 8 (28:55):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
I mean it'll be like Chris, it'll be the topic
of conversation if he kills the interview or bombs the
interview the old introductory press conference, but in no way
as an indicative.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Of his actual success. He's a winner, because we'll have
to see down the road, time will tell. We all
thought Quasy nailed the introductory press conference. He seemed like, whoa,
this guy is different man. He's he's got some charisma,
he's super smart, he gets interesting, and I'm going to
work at all.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
I'm gonna.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
I don't know why, but I feel like I need
to be careful talking about this. Right, But did you
guys read I did not know this. Did we get three, no,
two third round compensatory picks for hiring him because apparently
his father is African American?
Speaker 5 (29:37):
Yeah, I did see that. There's some kind of thing
or something like that. Yeah, right, I did see that.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Interesting. I mean, two third round picks is prett damn.
That's we'll take that value there. Hell yeah, man, didn't
know that until I read that in the news yesterday.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
It would be ironic if those are the two picks
he completely swings and misses on.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
Correct, Hey, Nolan Teasley got us two extra picks and
he whiffed.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Bad If that's the case and they get one next year,
they'll have three third round picks.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Yeah. Yeah, So that's today at ten. We'll learn more
about him, certainly will. The other big news in the
NFL in the last like forty eight hours was the
big Miles Garrett trade. Right, So, but did you see
yesterday Pat McAfee, Adam Schefter and others are saying that
Aaron Donald is at least thinking about coming out of
retirement to play alongside Miles Garrett. It's not just a
(30:31):
pipe dream. He's legitimately at least considering it now. Schefter
and others are saying, well, the problem is the Rams
don't have any money. Yes, but booi ye. So it
would take about six point three seconds to fix that
and get Aaron back on board. So I'm not worried
about that, but that is one short term obstacle is
(30:55):
paying him depending on what he would want, and my
guesses he would want a lot because he's Aaron Donald.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah yeah, or maybe not, maybe come back and just those.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Two on the same line. What do you do?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Yeah, that would be unbelievable because Aaron Donald is another
one of those guys like Megatron and Berry that just
walked away too young and will go. If he doesn't,
he'll be a first ballot Hall of Famer before he's forty.
So yeah, he Aaron Donald is outstandy.
Speaker 5 (31:26):
You think he could do it three years remove, thirty
five years old. Yes, he's in shape.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
We see the videos of him lifting and he looks great,
But going out and getting on.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
The field is a whole different story.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Yeah, sounds like two games and a torn like hammy
or something like that, right, but you never mean it also.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
Sounds like if they're you know, seven and one in
October or November, that he'd go.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
All right, Yeah, I'm in.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
I believe his name is Will Raggitts from Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Yeah, he's great.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
He just put out his power rankings for the NFC.
He has the Rams at number one. He has the
Seahawks at number two, He has the Eagles at number three,
strangely has the Lions at number four. That's a quick
turnaround for them. He has the forty nine ers at
number five.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
Who we just stopped right there. I think of what
you just said. Yeah, three of the top five are
in one division.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Well, so the Cardinals are garbage trash but the other
three teams the Seahawks defending champs yea, The Rams who
are loaded are now the Vegas favorites, and the Niners
who are absolutely.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
Loaded if they just stay healthy health. So last year
Seahawks fourteen and three, Rams twelve and five, Niners twelve
and five. Then the Cardinals are three and fourteen. Yeah,
they're terrible, but you could still argue even though they
have the dead weight with the Arizona Cardinals, that might
be the best division in football. They are.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Loaded, loaded, Loaded Weight.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Has has two teams in the top six because they
have the Lions at number four.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Yeah, Bears. I feel like the NFC North is all
teams that are good, but we don't know if any
of them are great, and we don't know if any
of them are terrible. They're all just fight.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Yes, I think on our squad, especially if the quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
The quarterbacks good than this guy's the limit yea. The
offensive line is I mean the defense yep. The defense
should be good if Dallas Turner can take that next step.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
The I think your only question mark is kind of
the secondary, because you don't know what you really have
without Harrison Smith. They didn't draft to a safety.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
If we're going through the teams in the NFC, tell
me if you think these teams have no chance this year, right,
not some chance like no chance, Eagles, Cowboys, Commanders, Giants.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
The Giants have no chance.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Have you guys seen the bit about Molik Neighbors and
how they think he might have a career ended. He
was at a softball game and he hit like a
He can bearly bend his right knee, like they in
Harbaugh's introductory press conference. They asked him and he said,
I quick, I'm paraphrasing, I don't know when he'll be back,
(34:10):
like they think it might be career ending.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
About these four Panthers, Buccaneers, Falcons, Saints Buccaneers maybe.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Maybe but they lost. Uh yeah, that Mike Evans is
now on your squad, Corey, the Niners.
Speaker 9 (34:23):
Any team in the NFC South as a champions, there's
such a buns the vision.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
It's cheeks.
Speaker 5 (34:30):
So but I guess my point is is outside of
the Cardinals and maybe the Giants, I don't know about
the Falcons again, they don't really have a quarterback either. No,
but you're talking about two or three teams in the
entire conference that just look like dead weight. Everybody else
looks like they're going to be decent to great. Yeah,
that's not that's not super balanced. If there's only a
(34:51):
couple of teams that are disasters.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Check this. So Raggits has the the the lines of four,
the Vikings at six, the Packers at seven, and the
Bears at eight.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
Yeah, wow, right around interesting.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Yeah, the Bears are They've drafted really well. They're gonna
know they you know, the tight end they have from
Michigan is outstanding. Luther Burden, the guy they got in
the second round who came on at the end of
the year last year.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
He's good.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
Their offensive line is pretty good. They are going to
be a really good team. This is this division is
going to be sweet.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Are you talking about the Bears?
Speaker 4 (35:24):
You said, yeah, yeah, the.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Packers will be good again, and yeah, we know the
Lions had a weird year because they were so injured,
and yeah, it's gonna be great. Football season can come
soon enough. I can't wait.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
You're excited.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
The only guy who's not a Caleb believer, I'm just not.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Oh man, Caleb's one of the best.
Speaker 5 (35:41):
Believer.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
He's I mean that that pass he through the was
it to tie that game up or to win it?
Speaker 3 (35:46):
And overtime in the state of Oh my god, that's.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
How many plays that he make. The lost the game
for him.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
I think he'll be an MVP in the next three years.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Oh my god, let's take that best.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Same.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
I would same three years.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
I'll take them both same. Last day, you said when
you were in the band Moon Rise Moon was No.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
I don't remember being in either of those, but I've
drunk a lot.
Speaker 9 (36:10):
He kind of assumed that Patrick mahomes role in the
sense that he was the most exciting player to watch
last year. Anything could happen on any given play.
Speaker 5 (36:19):
Yes, and with Colson Lovedlan too, Oh Colson Love?
Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (36:23):
Right, Zacho, Yeah you love Colson Love one of course,
did you you probably I was editing video.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
Did you mention the Madden News with that?
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Yeah, he's on the cover of Madden and the cover
is sick.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
That's over there.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
It's yeah, it's sweet. Dad can't wait for Madden, right Maxell?
Speaker 5 (36:37):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (36:38):
Yeah, given it's the same game every single year, we
still play it every single year.
Speaker 5 (36:41):
Yeah, it's gonna be fun.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
Yeah, put it on Rookie and just dominate absolutely.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
I can give you a copy of Man twenty six
with a picture of Caleb Williams the same thing.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Yeah, for like half price, and that goes a lot
of photo that you made yourself. Colston looked like, for example,
does he even.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
Have a bear?
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Is jersey on or wearing pants?
Speaker 5 (37:01):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah, I mean he's who bearing it? But he's sweet
Dwight's favorite.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Well not that kind of bear, Oh, not that kind
of poof.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
Yeah, it's it's a fun division.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
Man.
Speaker 9 (37:15):
Speaking of Madden, did you see that they couldn't Someone
tried to do the the trade, the Miles Garrett trade
in Madden and it didn't even work in the video game.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
Really, Yeah, that's always a good bit. Yeah, that's why
you got to turn trades all the way to very.
Speaker 9 (37:30):
Just turn it, trade logic off or take over the
other team and trade everything to your team.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Correct. Absolutely, yeah, Max gets it.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
I'm not playing this game to struggle brother. I knew
that in real life. Yeah, we're throwing for six thousand
yards of the.
Speaker 5 (37:46):
Yeah. The MVP races between me and wide receiver one
too far? Yeah, correctly, if you ever die, have you
ever had a player on Madden like as a rookie
or second year guy when you play a season, right,
so he's whatever, a guy that you drafted or traded for,
and he crushed for you so much that it skewed
the way you would look at that person in real life.
(38:09):
I remember, like Javon Walker and like Ashley Lelee back.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
In the day, I thought they were so good because
they crushed for me on Madden. I don't even remember
if they ended up being really good in the pros,
it just didn't matter.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
I was like, all those guys kick ass the digital
version kicked ass for me.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Yeah, when the Vikings roster as Caleb Banks on it
and I turned his ability up to like ninety five,
and he just dominates on the interior.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
And I'm like, why didn't you have six sex every
game in real life?
Speaker 5 (38:35):
Why did everybody say this was a risky pit?
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Yeah, this guy, he's a crusher. Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (38:40):
Madden Wales two K twenty two thousand and eight. Karan Butler, dude,
the same thing. K Bler drain threes in that game cover.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
I don't know if he's the cover. Well, he also
he did right. Coron Butler was in college and he
had his moments in the NBA too. It was an
awesome college player. Did he play for the Yeah, yeah,
and he was an All Star and he killed it
in six eight two KOA con Butler was infamous video game.
(39:10):
He was. He wasn't still playing in OA. He was
dominant though, probably coaching in OA.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Do you think any other radio show in America says
the name Scott Scouts.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
He is a podcast and doesn't mention himself as often
as you mentioned Scott Skous. He's sixty two years old.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
He was outstanding in NBA jam because he could just
bomb three. And he was coaching in Milwaukee Bucks. Wow,
Chris Head coach, Yeah, Scott Scouts. Uh, Chris yeah. Not
that you would have any way of knowing this, but
just take a shot. What was the last year and
(39:46):
who did he play for that Scott Skiles played.
Speaker 5 (39:49):
In the NBA.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Last year that he played in the NBA and who
was it for would have been two thousand and three
for the Chicago.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
Bulls, ninety six for the Sixers.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
Okay, I was close.
Speaker 5 (40:03):
He coached the Bulls in three through two thousand and seven.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
I'm sorry, I thought that's what you ask.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
He was nineteen ninety one's most improved player in the NBA.
How about that guy?
Speaker 1 (40:14):
You guys you trash talking.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
Yeah, he was also the Big Ten Player of the
Year in nineteen eighty six. Think of that Michigan State.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 5 (40:25):
And I'm the dream and famously, according to Chris on
the nineteen ninety two Dream Team in Barcelona.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
But we asked how to name if he could name
everybody on the Dream Team, and about three people, and
he goes Scott Skyle. He always convinced he Steve kurb,
which is still wrong, but maybe he was guessing Steve Kirb.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
But he said, Scott Skyles, like, how did you even
know that name?
Speaker 3 (40:47):
No?
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Why I know that name?
Speaker 5 (40:48):
So?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Well?
Speaker 5 (40:48):
He's from Indiana, h is he?
Speaker 3 (40:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:51):
That's that?
Speaker 9 (40:51):
That well, it's like Hark always mentioning the game when
you talk about.
