by Builders and Room Moodelers.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yes, thank you, Builders, Remus. You know we haven't talked
at all about Monday night football hardly. Yeah, I love that,
But how about the end of that game? Listen to
this last night as the Chargers beat the Eagles hurts.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Keats Crows in the stake and the Chargers winning the.
Speaker 7 (02:28):
Game, person went to pick Cam hart Teim and the
Charger's got.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
It in for big thing.
Speaker 9 (02:37):
That is the.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
That is the game. How many interceptions?
Speaker 1 (02:42):
He had?
Speaker 7 (02:43):
Five turnovers? Four of them were interceptions. He had one
of them, two of them on the same play.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
He threw an interception, the guy.
Speaker 7 (02:50):
Fumbled it, he picked it up, then he fumbled it
and then they recovered it.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Wow, I'm sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
Somebody put it out last night. That's a minus four
point play in fantasy.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Uh, there are a lot of fantasy football teams that
had their there were locks for the playoffs going into
that Monday night game that probably missed out.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Did Broseburg dirty but they pointed.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Out yeah, because they pointed out they did the stat
comparison between Jalen Hurts and Max.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Brosemer had a better game. I got.
Speaker 8 (03:29):
It's crazy, though, to start one game and now you're
the barometer for cheeks.
Speaker 10 (03:34):
Yea.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
And they still almost won last night. They still should
have won last night. They were in the man.
Speaker 8 (03:42):
Now they're one game, they're only one game ahead of
the Packers. They really have a really easy schedule to
close out here, but they got to win that division
otherwise it's a curtains.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
But it was really weird watching that game last night.
It was very new.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
I mean, I mean, we all know how low amount
of fans that the Chargers have, but the cheer, like
you never knew that it was a neutral site game
through and through.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Listen, isn't it always hard?
Speaker 3 (04:06):
I said this when we were in Los Angeles to
play the Chargers. They were piping in crowd noise. I
will stand by it.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
They were absolutely people show up.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah, it's maybe half even three quartersfold, but it sounded
like we were in Seattle. Wow, it sounded like we
were at a Pantera con.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Well that highlight you just played, yeah, really loud.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
That's what I was about to make it. I was
going to make the point. I know it was Monday
night football, so were there more people there?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
We were there on Thursday night football and it was three.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Quarters full, yeah, and mostly Vikings fans. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Somebody brought up an interesting idea a few weeks ago
that I read where the Raiders are still massive in LA. Right,
they're they're even a bigger They have a bigger following
than the Rams do in Los Angeles. So somebody brought
up the idea of moving the Raiders back to LA
and sharing and then putting the Chargers in Vegas where
(05:03):
they kind of already have that, like, you know, seventy
thirty visiting fans. If you're going to have a team
like that, might as well have him in there, and
then the Raiders can make a bank in la.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I think that would be a wonderful things.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Jim Charger.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
No, I'm not going to do it. Oh wow, what.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
The Charger Well, you know he said nothing.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Charger family.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
I got on the sentence, I got on the phone.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
You have his number, I do have his personal stelf
old JC. That's the guy who owns the team. His
name is Jim. That's rather the Chargers. All makes sense.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
No, yeah, makes sense.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, makes sense. We've all been waiting for today. We haven't.
We have.
Speaker 7 (05:46):
A lot of us have been waiting for what's about
to happen today at four thirty.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
If you will guess this Tuesday four.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Snow, Nope, jeopardy Mark getting on a plane maybe starting.
Speaker 7 (06:05):
Today at four thirty, John Bonus will be there. The
MLB Draft lottery is today. Your Minnesota Twins have the
second best odds to get the number one overall pick.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
Hmm. You don't hear a lot about the basketball draft.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Wow, dude, they still do in the middle of the season.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Do they still draft like seventy draft?
Speaker 9 (06:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (06:28):
The actually draft itself, I think.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Is like I think it's all they do it now
at ye at the All Star breaks.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
At the end of the draft somebody has to stand.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Up and go please stop. Please. That's how it ends.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Yeah, that's how they end. Just finally they can't take
them all hogs.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
Daddy, you're good at you you know what you know.
You're good at a lot. You know a lot about
college football. The four Heisman finalists were announced yesterday. Yes,
the Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoz Mendoza.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
I was looking at it's Melendez.
Speaker 7 (07:03):
H Jeremiah loved the running back from Notre Dame vander
Built quarterback Diego poven yeahby, I love that guy, man.
And then Julian saying from the Ohio State he's quarterback.
I think I would guess quarter I would guess he's
(07:24):
the favorite.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
But no, he definitely it's done. He's gonna win it
for sure. It's the Saturday, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
I mean he went it like a few weeks ago,
Saturday in h I think it's two weeks from the
from Nobody asked you, Kevin, No, you're correct.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
I think you're right. I know that you say that.
I think you're right.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Can I go back a story though, yes, daddy, because
I had one more thing from Marsy. Hey, Marsy and
By the way, for everybody tuning in, don't forget Grenard.
Next segment, Laura Rutledge, you're familiar. Yeah, the report, the reporter,
sateline reporter for Monday night for sure.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Last night she tried to.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Get an interview with her part Herbert, the quarterback for
the Justin Herbert for Jim's Chargers.
Speaker 9 (08:03):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
And this is creating kind of a ripple around the
world because she literally had to chase him down because
he didn't want to do the interview and wanted to
go celebrate.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
I thought she handled it well.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
I would like your Yeah, I have none, I've not
seen it.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
And we will go to Laura Rutledge, who was hustling
to get this interview from Justin Herbert.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
I'm trying to celebrate with my dad.
Speaker 11 (08:26):
Oh, I know, but can weet us talking really fast?
What was it like to watch the interception there that
sealed this game for you guys to get this win.
Speaker 12 (08:34):
Yeah, the defense played incredible. You know, they came up
with so many big stops today. So so proud to
be able to play for those guys. And the way
they can pete it down and down out is really
fun to watch.
Speaker 11 (08:43):
We know, you were dealing with the broken hands tonight.
You gotted it out, you were hit multiple times.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
How are you feeling right now? Pretty good? Thank you?
Speaker 11 (08:50):
And then what can you say about the way that
this team was able to pull this off in overtime?
You guys know how important this game was and how
good the opponent was on the other side.
Speaker 12 (08:58):
Yeah, not the way we drew it up, but the
battle in these guys, you know, it's it's so much
fun and I'm so honored to be a part of
this team. And they never quit, and you know, it's
just fun to be a part of. And we'll watch
a film and have to get better at it and.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Keep moving forward. Thank you, Joe. All right, now he
can go celebrate with his teammates. Thank you, Laura. Great job.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Any reaction you've been in that spot, I'm gonna guess
I've been.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
I've been reading plenty of people who didn't want to
be interviewed. Yeah, I'm watching the video right now just
to kind of get framed for it. But I mean
it turned out fine, right he did. He ended up
That middle question was pretty short, like I'm not doing this,
so I was not expecting it an actual answer in
the third question, and it sounded like he kind of
(09:44):
gave in and and gave the interview, which I think
it sucks sometimes.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
I get it.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
You do a lot of media, but when you're the
star player and you win a big game, it is
part of the whole packag like it or not. And
I think Laura Rutledge handled the situation very well, and
Justin Herbert ended up handling it well.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Indeed, did you see it any other way?
Speaker 4 (10:09):
I did not know.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
I just I was surprised that even caught any controversy.
I like, I like you were saying, I haven't seen
it yet. Did she literally have to chase him down?
Is she like running behind him?
Speaker 6 (10:17):
Yes, yeah, yeah, that's kind of job.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
That's kind of yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Yeah, but yeah, yeah that that shouldn't happen. Yeah, because
he knows this interview is coming. And the thing, I
can see it after a loss when you are just
trying to avoid a dodge, but after a win in a.
Speaker 8 (10:34):
Regular season, I'm trying to celebrate with my teaments, like bro,
yeah you did win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Brown, Yeah, fifty two point five million dollars you will
make this year. ESPN pays two point seven billion dollars
a year to broadcast these games.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
You can give them a minute.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
Yeah, you can answer.
Speaker 8 (10:53):
Yeah, I coach speak as well, except we're not even
expecting your real thoughts. You're just gonna say, Yep, the
team played hard, we played hard, we tried hard.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yeah, just do the normal bit man and go about
your death. Agreed. Agreed, But in his defense too, he
did acquiesce.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
Isn't that wouldn't like the Bob Hagen, the PR guy
of that group, go hey, buddy, remember you got to
touch Yeah no, after.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
The game, literally wocking him to like probably should have
a hand on him because of all the on a
football field after a game, there's so many different directions
you can go, and people who are wanting piece of
your time. Yes, Bob Hagen type should be guiding you
to you got to do this, than this and this.
Speaker 6 (11:35):
Now you go hang out and and celebrate with your teammates.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
Yeah right, yeah wow, I've never really seen that play
out on live TV quite that way.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
Again after a win.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I thought she.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
I don't see where the controversy is except saying Herbert
should have maybe been a little.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
And that's what people are saying, is that he was
kind of rude to her, but he came around and tell.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Spot for the producer to put Laura in, right.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
You know, not really the ning quarterback is that he
wasn't there though, But you don't know.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
I mean, it's unfolding lives.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
It felt to me like a hockey fight. You know,
they got their jabs in, but then it was like
amicable at the end and everybody's happy.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Every we're all good.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
They got tired of right.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
You know, it's an emotional game, well said.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Nott.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
A hockey, not a hockey fight, like outside the porch
of a.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah, we're a daddy. It's right because you're.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Sometimes you gotta throw some salt.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, man, wintering mix? When's the winter re mix? Most
to start?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Well, a little the snow before four, then the mix
of freezing rain between four and five, and the real
snow hits are after five.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
So hopefully, hopefully it doesn't get too warm.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Honestly, at this point, we don't want that wintery mix
because that will make ice rinks out of roads.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
That's not good.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
There's a number on the driveway too. Shovel that bad boy,
and he got an ice layer at the bottom, and
the whole called the sack, the whole sacks, can I get?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Really, I don't shovel the whole sack.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
However, just man, you take care of your embudess, right right?
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah, yeah, I ain't gotta worry about him.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Yeah, Max just left, by Max?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Why did he He didn't even say bye.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
He's gonna work, you know, he's gotta work.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
He's got things like he just laughed.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
He was thinking by so hard.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah, normally we hog come back, Max and give I.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Think that's why he just left.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Yeah, I think you're correct. That's why he was like,
I'm out of here. I'm sad. Why no more? Max?
That's okay for the day.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Yeah, he'll be back. I bet, I bet.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
We're gonna talk to your friend of mine, Jonathan Grenard
here in about five minutes or so.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
I can't wait about football. Probably, well, it'd be a
good start better that.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah, we're Minnesotans, so we'll probably talk about the weather,
the snow.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah, we're also probably gonna maybe find out how he's
doing mentally, because check on your friends and family, ladies
and gentlemen are pulled by the American Psychiatric Association shows
forty one percent of US adults expect to feel more
stress this holiday season than last year.
Speaker 13 (15:18):
I nical psychologist Carrie Ditzal says, in order to help
your mental health during the holiday season, you may have
to say no to certain things.
Speaker 14 (15:26):
Take a minute to think about what you really want
to do. What is worth changing your routine for which party,
which person is going to bring you joy? And it's
worth the stress or the disruption.
Speaker 13 (15:40):
The poll also shows nearly half of adults say they're
worried about missing someone or grief. Nearly half also say
they're concerned about affording or finding holiday gifts. I'm Tammy
tricheo oh.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
It made me feel better, Tammy.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Thanks? What were you playing the beginning of that? What
was that?
Speaker 4 (15:56):
These name Tami Triel.
Speaker 13 (15:58):
Psychologist Carrie Ditzal says Kerry Ditzel.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
Yeah, it's something that you do in Germany too.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Yeah, it's that one of those cookies Wiener Ditzel. Yeah,
I love those. Yeah, the whole town knows.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
So well, you know, ask somebody how you doing, check
on people, make sure everybody's cool.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
It's a tough time a year for people, right.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
Thank you? Yeah, I said that.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Well, yeah, thank you buddy. It's good to check out. Marty.

you say, notice some things.
Speaker 6 (16:28):
But I am good, so I believe me. I'll say
no to you.
Speaker 10 (16:34):
Oh oh but the question, hell yeah, did you read this?
Speaker 1 (16:44):
No? But did you ever get your money back for it?
Speaker 13 (16:46):
Never?
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Did you know what? Maybe they'll uh, they'll set me

Speaker 1 (17:04):

I guess, thank your headlines.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
Let's see here, Marn's a new study wind Wolf Electric.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Sorry it was real close that I was.
Speaker 16 (22:45):
Trying to think one of those elements Wolf of electric
dot com.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
I'm saying a new study found the states with the
best and worst drivers, based on things like accidents in
d UI.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Florida and Wisconsin gonna be tied for number.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
One, Tied for the best Michigan as far as like
a lot or like our good driver.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Like the best driver Michigan and Florida. No, come on,
come on now, the worst New Jersey and North Dakota. No, man,
could they.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
But not accurate?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
What are you doing?
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Why do you drive like that?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Yeah? Why, that's well, that's what this says.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Yeah, you don't believe the news.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
No always We've got a lot of wide open roads.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
What open spaces? Great song?
Speaker 5 (23:48):
Yeah, man, Yeah, I'm gonna choose just to not believe that,
or I think it's flip flopped, because how is Florida
the best in the worst?
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (23:56):
Anything?
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Yeah, Florida drivers are insane.
Speaker 9 (23:58):
They are not.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, they're nuts, like you're going eighty in the middle
lane and somebody's going one hundred and tell you left.
Speaker 7 (24:04):
Yeah, they drive like they ain't got a diamonute right
hawk Rubin's racing.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
But also the elderly driving is probably pretty prevalent in
Florida where they going.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Google that.
Speaker 7 (24:18):
Between the two Home Alone movie cheeks and the two cheeks,
twenty three of the traps that the Wet Bandits go
through in those two movies would kill them.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
Yeah, I wou I would guess.
Speaker 16 (24:34):
I mean twenty the paint paint can from the to
the face for time, the head, yeah, and the yeah
when well, when Marv gets electrocuted in the second one, Yeah,
and then he just shaves off.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
When you think about it, though, what's the one that
that that makes you cringe the most?
Speaker 7 (24:53):
Because for the nail, the nail through the foot, that's bad,
walking on the glass, the broken ornaments, Yeah, yeah, oh,
well done.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
You played that well a lot of so so proud
of you.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
That's one of the greatest songs of all time.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
It's the nail through the foot.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
About the four story fall through the hole in the floor.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Yeah, I mean what about the pipe they both get
to the face? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:19):
What about the brick that he throws from the top
of a building and what does.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
He hit him with crowbar? Yeah, trying to kill the tarantula?
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Yeah, right in the chest.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
And thea would kill you.
Speaker 7 (25:30):
Tell me the numbers again, would twenty twenty three wet
bandits injuries at home.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Alone would have actually killed me, I can believe it. Yeah,
that would have made it funny.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
The only one you're gonna survive is probably the micro
machines on the floor. Yeah, and the one where he
gets the glue and.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Then the uh or the one that you emulated, which is,
oh that hurts.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Imagine Kevin's mom coming back arriving and there's like some
maybe the bottom bagging.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
He cleans that house up pretty well after destroying it.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Yeah, well, you know, he thought he was on his own.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah, you know, he's a man to destroy the evidence. Yeah,
he killed that old man. There's those are such good movies.
Old Man Marley.
Speaker 7 (26:13):
Yeah, yeah, Old Man Marley saves it them right. In
a survey, sixty seven percent of people wish they could
hibernate like a bear through one tower.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Dude, that's ridiculous. Sixty seven that's ridiculous. Yeah, if you
don't like cold, get the hell out, eat out.
Speaker 6 (26:35):
I will say December winter is much more. I welcome
it with open.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
Arms because it always has this magical christmasy feel. No
winter when we get into January, February just doesn't.
Speaker 6 (26:53):
It isn't received as well.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
January it's the worst month of the year.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Oh hideous, No, I would, oh, except for that, except
for that, which.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Is it's almost shamrock shake season. Oh good point. I mean,
that's it's just a.
Speaker 6 (27:11):
Lot of winter when Christmas is in the rear view.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Yeah, there's always a period of depression where.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
You're like, yeah, yeah, enough course birthday month it.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
Is well now now something to think about.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Yeah, has your birthday to yes.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
Pullfully change.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
Fourteen of America English person, or one in seven Chris
Hockey will have at least two Christmas trees in their
home this year.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Yeah, man, I got two already. Yeah, I might go
for more.
Speaker 6 (27:41):
Does a tabletop miniature?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Yeah, it says we're guessing that includes smaller trees too.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Okay, yeah, okay, Hey man, it doesn't matter how big
the tree is.
Speaker 7 (27:50):
It's just how you use it. You know, it's in
the way that you use it. I think Eric Clapton
once said.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
That, you know, why is it everybody tells me I
need to take a lap when I'm this h h
A G. And Zacho has just been like he's just
doub inuendo the whole day to day double that's what
he does. Yeah, like nobody said you need to diggle
up their horny man.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Well, to be honest, I'm not really listening. Oh good point.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
It's not about him. Yes, thank you, Zach, thank you
for yeah, thank you. See now I'm listening.
Speaker 6 (28:19):
He's sitting in that seat. He knows.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 7 (28:22):
A new poll of hiring managers found the top soft
skills that can help you land a job in twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
That's all you've got.
Speaker 7 (28:30):
Include for communications, professionalism, resilience, attention to detail, and collaborative
skills and availability.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Yeah, man, the best stability correct. So yes, when everybody
else says no, amen, brother, thank you.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
I mean that's why I'm here. That's it all right,
that's all you got it.
Speaker 7 (28:57):
I mean a lot of them are just like the
latest TikTok food trend is greench spaghetti, Oh yeah, which
is regular spaghetti only green?
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yeah? Festo? Or like food coloring, Oh cool? Would you
eat that?
Speaker 2 (29:14):
As long as I saw the food color and get
thrown in there and that I knew that it was
just regular sauce. You need help, but we could get you.
We could paint you green. We could have green sauce here.
Oh fun?
Speaker 9 (29:25):
Can you up?
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Yes? Okay?
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Good, Yes, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
On a Vikings Victory Tuesday, your friend of mine, Jonathan
Garnard joins the Power Trip morn Show. Congratulations, what a
great game, Jonathan. Great to have you on the show.
Speaker 9 (29:39):
Man, great to be back. Great to get a w man.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Do we want to start everything off by you go
ahead and confronting meat sauce about his prediction and how
it worked out again, so I.
Speaker 9 (29:50):
Can I at least ask what was the prediction this time?
They told me that nobody would tell me what his
prediction was. They just said it was you should ask
him about it.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
So I think it was. I think it was one
hundred to four.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
I think that's one of us. Yeez, yep, geez me.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
So, I mean, but to be honest, where you're from.
I'm from here. I grew up here.
Speaker 9 (30:10):
Oh man, I thought you might be from like Green
Bay or the Short or something. I just I'm just
lost some concuses. Where So why are you losing hope?
Don't lose hope? Just is this You're supposed to be.
Speaker 7 (30:23):
A fan, Well I am, and you told me to
go the exact opposite way. So now I go even worse.
But now that when I know that I have to
talk to you, Now I think, okay.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
I forgot that.
Speaker 9 (30:34):
Listen, if you're going by that lodging only, if you're
going by that logic from that, then maybe we can
have an understanding. But you know, just anything other than
that than yeah, we we have to. We have to
have a little talk on the side or something.
Speaker 13 (30:45):
Man.
Speaker 7 (30:46):
No, I love this team. I love this team since
like the nineties, I'm live or die with this team.
After you do, I get frustrated, and after you told
me pick as bad as you can. So on Sunday,
you guys are going to lose one thousand to two.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Listen. Well, if it helps, it's definitely giving us bullets
and board materials, so you know, at least you're doing
that part by giving us some type of AMMO. But
one hundred is crazy, men. Listen, I'll give a realistic score,
but a hundred is man.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Lord in mercy, Jonathan, we go out to see how
don't we know what happens? Then we come home and
we play that game last week? How does a team,
how does a game change so much week to week
like that?
Speaker 9 (31:28):
Yeah, I mean, as we all know, man, this game
is just crazy. Last I mean, this past week was
just one of those where everything just kind of went
right for us. You know, we had the big splash plays.
You know, we took care of the ball on offense,
we took the ball away on defense, and special teams
just didn't have any maternality. So we just played a
really well round of complimentary football. We wish all the
games go that way. Just we know that, you know,
(31:49):
certain plays happened, certain plays, don't you know? It does
go our way, doesn't you know? Maybe a ball bounces
a different way or a tip happen. So we sent
it all years, so for us to finally get that
and every go away is is a good thing for
the locker room.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
Yeah, Nardog, it was awesome to watch on Sunday. I
can't imagine how fun it was to play in. And
you have talked before and most athletes do about maintaining
just that steady presence.
Speaker 6 (32:13):
Don't get too high, don't.
Speaker 16 (32:15):
Get too low.
Speaker 5 (32:16):
But you have got to have had moments of just
hooting and hollering a little bit after the win on
Sunday and the way everything went down.
Speaker 9 (32:26):
No, I think it's so hard to get Wednesday, and
you have to enjoy them and celebrate them for a time.
I mean, like I said, we played really good ball
all the way around. We put up a goose egg.
I mean, I don't know how when the last time
has happened, but a goose egg is a goose eig.
I don't care how it happens. So no matter what
your record is, whatever's going on to be able to
do that to an NFL team, it's something you should
(32:47):
definitely be proud of. Obviously the record is and what
we're what we're proud of, but you know, I understand
we only can handle one game at a time and
understand those things in the past. So we just took
that mindset going into this game, just saying, don't worry
about last game, you know, just clear mind and just
play free. Obviously it's a home we're at home, so
we got to protect the home field. So it just
made it that much better obviously for things to go right,
(33:07):
and looking forward to do that again. Obviously come up
Sunday night.
Speaker 7 (33:10):
The offense went on a nineteen play ninety eight yard
drive that took twelve minutes in one second off the clock. Now,
boredom is the wrong term, but is there a point
where you're like, what is like you can look at
the film, you could talk to all your teammates, but
is there a point where you guys like got up
and like moved around to stay loose. That's a long
(33:30):
time for the offense to be on the field.
Speaker 9 (33:35):
Absolutely not. I definitely sat on the bench and enjoy
getting that rest of my legs letting the offense, you know,
wear that defense down, because I get it. You know,
sometimes you may stand up, walk around, but ultimately, man,
we were just chilling. We were already kind of warmed
in general just because we were starting out the game.
But yeah, we love when offense does that to defenses
(33:55):
and keep such as be able to just ready and
be you know, in the mid mindset is ready to
go handle ourvents whenever it's our time and it's not
like a sudden change or something. So whenever you can
keep them on the ball and keep them on the
field and they're moving it like they were and obviously
ended it with a touchdown. Man, that's that's just great
for us, and obviously take some more opportunities with another team.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Jonathan Bernard again is our guest here on the Powers
of Morning Show, and we appreciate it very much. Here
comes a stupid football question, but something I was just
thinking about for the first time. When you're lined up
on the line of scrimmage playing defense and you're on
one side and let's say Van Ginkle's on the other side,
what percentage of the time are you guys mirroring each
other when it comes to whatever the defensive play call
is where you're you both have the exact same responsibilities
(34:36):
on other sides of the ball.
Speaker 9 (34:40):
So worn't that question a little bit different because I
kind of understand you're going with it again.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Yeah, Like, so let's say Van Geikle's on the other
side of the ball from you, and you're both obviously
lined up on defense on a defensive play call. Are
most of the time you both let's say, crashing to
the quarterback, rushing to the quarterback, or both of you
have contained are you and mirroring each other on each play?
Speaker 9 (35:03):
Gotcha? Gotcha? Yeah, sometimes we do mirrored things where we
do the same things. Other times he's been coveraging outgo
and we really can switch it up. I think that's
the thing our versus hood it with our system is
sometimes we can send him, sometimes we can send me.
Sometimes they send Dallas. We can all of us are
definitely capable of dropping. But yeah, it just depends on
the play call in the game plan that week. Majority
(35:23):
times we know that game because we usually to drop
her hints forth, all the picks and all the other
crazy plays and coverage that he does. But that's just
his game. I mean, he's been doing that obviously since
he's been in Flow system and kind of understands the
coverage concepts a little bit more. Doesn't mean I don't,
but he just listen when you make plays by him. Man,
he definitely has owned that and he does a lot
of you know, work behind the scenes to understand how
(35:45):
we're going to be played and what place to expect
when you're playing our top of defense. So yeah, he
can definitely be mirrored, but definitely we have our roles
that time.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
On Sunday.
Speaker 7 (35:54):
You play at Dallas on Sunday Night football on offense
that has they get the most yards per game in
the NFL.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
What's the plan to slow that offense down?
Speaker 9 (36:08):
Yeah, not switching another I think Flows gonna have a
great plan obviously. You know, Dallas is a very talented team,
like you just mentioned. You see how they get their explosives.
They will have a good run game to obviously open
those pass and wins up. And then Das is playing
phenomenal obviously in turn games where he's just letting it
loose and he's still one of the top quarterbacks obviously
(36:29):
when it comes to his arm talent. So just knowing
it's gonna be fine time game. Obviously, he's a big
quarterback in this league. You definitely know that when whenever
they get opportunities to aired out, they're definitely gonna do that.
So we just got to make them uncomfortable, get after
him and definitely try to make it to where he throws.
Is one of one of those ficks. Definitely like he
you know, because when you have all the power like
that and he's dynamic quarterack with a dynamic arm, get uh,
(36:53):
you know, those opportunities to try to send it deep
and things we kind of really haven't seen much of.
You know. Obviously when we're playing, these teams are kind
of or short, you know, flat routes and kind of
checkdowns and stuff, so I can see them open it
up and trying to throw it throw a deep and
that's where opportunities to come.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
A few weeks from today.
Speaker 7 (37:08):
Not to get ahead of it, but you guys play
on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Speaker 1 (37:12):
Excuse me?
Speaker 7 (37:13):
Is that something as a team everybody looks forward to.
Speaker 9 (37:18):
Yeah, it's definitely an honor. I mean, you know, thankfully
we have it at home as well, so you know,
obviously we get to be with the family and I
have to be on the plane before or after Christmas.
So but we definitely love it. It's a it's a
division game. I mean, what better day to do it.
Obviously we already had a w up there, so too
we know they're gonna come back in and try to
with a vengeance, and that just adds more few to us.
(37:40):
We're protecting the home crowd Christmas Day. Family's all the
sound one of the only games on. So we're excited. Man,
We're decided to put a challenge, especially being the short
and you.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Got a Sunday night game this weekend, and of course
Sunday Night Football obviously NBC the big production and a
lot and part of that you get to do the
introduction of yourself on the on the the screen. Any
fun plans for that. A. You're just gonna stick to
the usual name in college.
Speaker 9 (38:07):
Yeah, Now, I've always just kept my my high school,
which was one I always said him in high school
because I get a lot of heat for it, you know,
me going to colleges, being at Louisville and then going
to Florida. So I keep this uping by just going
side on my high school. So get they get all
of love is there.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
A number that you've got in mind that I can
pay you that would get you to introduce yourself as
meat sauce Jonathan Gernard.
Speaker 9 (38:31):
Listen, if they were able to let us redo it,
I would definitely take you up on that. But I
tell you what, Mark, We're gonna try to do it
next year, so I'm gonna definitely make sure that we
can get that word up.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
We love having you on the show man, Thank you
so much for coming on, and good luck to Sunday.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
We'll talk to you soon.
Speaker 9 (38:47):
Yes, I appreciate You'll have a good one.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
Thanks Jonathan, how great with that?
Speaker 1 (38:51):
That would be great?
Speaker 7 (38:53):
And then just staring into the camera, see you okay
on college?
Speaker 9 (39:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Right dropped out man, good dude, man, Yeah, great dude. Yeah,
he's the best. Yeah.
Speaker 11 (39:09):
You know.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
I asked that question because I it is does seem like,
obviously Van Ginko gets the interceptions. They're playing the exact
same position, just on different sides of the ball. So
why is Van Ginko more likely to get an interception
obviously than Jonathan Granard is?
Speaker 4 (39:21):
But it also seems that Grenard is much more.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Likely to get a sack and or you know, a
tackle for loss the Van Ginko, But they played the
same exact position, just on.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Different sides of the ball. He's great, man, he's good.
He's a good dude. Yeah, it was a good question, thanks.
Speaker 5 (39:35):
Mag Yeah it came from a real football mind. You
can tell who played the game. Yeah, honestly, thanks man.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Yeah you did? What position did you play?
Speaker 3 (39:43):
I played linebacker and fall back and center, and then
I played center as a freshman and sophomore.
Speaker 9 (39:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (39:49):
I was really good at center at and what was
your weight at that time?
Speaker 3 (39:53):
One fifty six seven, But now that I know, I
had muscle, just hair. That was mostly a lot of
hair back then.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
You love?
Speaker 4 (40:07):
I did love Vixen. I don't know why you don't
know who Vixen is.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
I've never heard of him.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
I bet you know the song. I wish I could
play it for you.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
You can't.
Speaker 6 (40:14):
It's just a bar.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
You can do that on the hummer bar.
Speaker 6 (40:22):
Yeah, Edge of the Broken Heart.
Speaker 9 (40:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (40:26):
Are State for concerts starting to be announced announced?
Speaker 4 (40:31):
Like most of them?
Speaker 1 (40:32):
I think, who else is there?
Speaker 4 (40:34):

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Yep?
Speaker 4 (40:35):
And Blitzer ye and Pete?
Speaker 5 (40:39):

Speaker 6 (40:47):
Announcement from yesterday whose headline? Well, the headliners have already
been announced.
Speaker 1 (40:53):

Speaker 4 (40:55):
Is she coming back?
Speaker 1 (40:56):
He's coming back?
Speaker 4 (40:57):
They must love her. She's great.
Speaker 5 (40:59):
Well, when she was there two summers ago, her performance
got rained out.
Speaker 6 (41:03):
So she didn't actually get to get go on stage,
that's right.
Speaker 5 (41:08):
I did get to still conduct my interview that was
supposed to air on the on the little jumbotrons there.
Speaker 6 (41:14):
Yeah, so I got to hang with her for like
she still so very attractive. Yeah she is.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
Remember when you chased her into the Portagohn yea was?
I invited you to come hang out with us about
that show, and you opened for her and then you.
Speaker 4 (41:29):
