Speaker 1 (00:00):
That man's name is Joel Alexander Kaiza Niche. He's an
eighteen year old student at Waterbury High School who faced
the charges against him this afternoon virtually from behind bars.
They include reckless driving and driving without a license. The
accident left two state troopers injured. Here's video from that day. Now.
According to a police report, Kaiza and Ischet lost control
(00:22):
of his car after driving through a puddle of water,
reaching a speed of eighty five miles per hour. One
of the troopers standing outside of a cruiser, was thrown
fifty feet into the grass. He had a broken leg
as a result. The accident also left Kayiz and Achet
with two broken legs. The charges he's facing are misdemeanors,
but due to the seriousness of the case, the judge
(00:45):
set the driver's bond at twenty thousand dollars. This was
his only reaction this afternoon. Now we're also learning this
evening that Kai's an ashe is an illegal alien from Ecuador.
(01:06):
That's according to the Department of Boland Security. He's wanted
by ICE right now, which has launched bad Ice story
the news.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Okay, so we already touched on this story a little
bit this morning, but now we're getting more. First of all,
he didn't lose he went flying into that puddle. Watching
the video, just watching the video right here, watching it
a couple of times. He's he's careening towards that puddle
at maybe eighty miles per hour. Interestingly enough, he's here
(01:36):
illegally from Ecuador, got here two years ago. He's attending
high school. He's driving a vehicle. He's got he was
going to work, he says, got a job. So somebody's
employing him without a ton of stuff my son would
need for a job. Zoway. He's got a driver's license,
(01:56):
no way, And if he does, he obtained that driver's
license with considerably less than what my son needed to
get a driver's license. And in the midst of all this,
when this was released yesterday, that the eighteen year old
who hit two Connecticut state troopers, one of them was
(02:17):
not in the vehicle. One of them was standing by
the vehicle through that guy fifty feet And we already
touched upon the fact that when this got released yesterday,
you go over to see what the governor has to
say about it, he was talking about hot dogs national
I'll take one at Augie's any day. He's got a
little Zippity Doo da hot dog clip on his page.
The guy's a joke, because keep in mind, this guy's
(02:40):
an eighteen year old from Ecuador. I mean he looks
thirteen years old. He's crying, and you know, don't forget
it was a month ago that Ecuador's most wanted was
arrested in Oxford, Connecticut. So we're getting a lot of
gems from Ecuador these days, and we have been for
(03:01):
the last couple of years. And don't forget that it
was a year ago last month that a state trooper
was killed by somebody whipping speeding. I mean that got
non English speaking gentleman that was a hit and run.
He was full up on and all and blow in
(03:23):
Connecticut and wanted for murder in Puerto Rico, his homeland,
you know, is his home of Puerto Rico, and had
three other I'm trying to remember the way they were
homicide attempts hanging over him. So he was a murderer
(03:49):
and a failed murderer a couple times over. So we
got that happening to Pelletier. I mean a state that
came together to a degree over that and the wrongness
of that, and still so which direction do you want
to go in? Like when I look at the story
of two Connecticut state troopers hit by somebody flying, I
(04:12):
do I think of Iola Sanchez. You know the story
from last year, a guy who took pelletiers if you know,
one here illegally. But there was a murderer from Puerto
Rico who had three other homicide attempts hanging over him.
He was in He came here, gravitated from Puerto Rico
(04:33):
to Connecticut in hiding high as you know, and he
took the life of somebody. Wasn't paleteer his wife like
expecting to? I think with so many tragedies and we've
literally got a governor talking about hot talks. We've got
Chris Murphy in what looked to me to be on
(04:56):
an empty Senate floor. There was nobody around gammering about
Trump because Trump would have to do get full up
on Phatonahn and do a hit and run. For Chris
Murphy to talk about love dates back.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
To Frankfurt, Germany, as in the Frankfurter in the fifteenth century.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I'll take a hot dog a dog and raised anything
that's his. That's then happy, Happy hot dog Day, Connecticut.
That's that's what the governor speaks. He's not saying, look
the speeding our highway, just being a holy cow, I
don't even want to say a leader or a governor
(05:39):
being a grown up and just speaking on Look to
the two troopers who are hospitalized, one who is hit
by a vehicle by somebody who's came to this country
illegally two years ago. Because I keep saying everybody's welcome here,
just acknowledge it. Say I'm going to I'm visiting them
(06:00):
in the hot Can I see footage of you visiting
them in a hospital. If I see to it that
there's pizza in their rooms, will that get the governor there?
Because Governor Leman only shows if there's pizza, And I
guess Frank Furter's
