Speaker 1 (00:00):
And here we are. Everybody is back, Jenny's back from Balie.
Bailey is here, Vaut is here, Me Dave here. Last
week of the Dave Ryan in the Morning Show. V
what what shut up? Jenny?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Uh? Seriously?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
First of all, let me give a shout out to
Vaant for decorating the studio.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Look at the great Jobby bit.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
There's like all kinds of banners and balloons and a
big balloon that says thirty three for thirty three years
over here.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
So wow, thank you. You'll see later on Dave Ryan
TV after seven o'clock.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
But yeah, oh I thought this.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
I thought this was for my birthday and you just
forgot how old I.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
You know? I did?

Speaker 5 (00:40):
It is gorgeous. I'm happy. No, I don't want this.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
For my birthday. I'm happy it's for you.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
How was Balie?

Speaker 5 (00:45):
I had so much fun, you guys. I have to
say it might be like my favorite trip I've ever
taken at this point. It was just so much fun.
I had the best group of people who came with me.
Everyone got along, everyone was super chill. Just the country
or it's technic an island, but Indonesia itself is just beautiful.
I mean the people there are so kind, the culture

(01:05):
is amazing, and it was just such a fun time.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
Like you look like you were on like a Disney
like in Animal Kingdom, like a.

Speaker 7 (01:11):
Little Disney area. It looked not real life. It is crazy.
It's just so beautiful. The landscape is beautiful. I sweat.
I lost some weight on that trip. I think it
was great. Oh thank you? How skinny do I look?
But it was it was really fun. I missed you guys,
but I didn't for about a week because I was
having the time.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Of my life.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Wouldn't either good for you? Check out there's a big
photo dump on Jenny KTWB.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I've got a bunch on there.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Honestly, the quality of my photos did not upload very well,
so I apologize, But there.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Are a bunch they're so good on my block.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
So the one of you, well, you can go to
your Instagram Jenny KDWB, but the one of you on
the rocks, I was like, am I a lesbian.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
On the waterfall?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah? Yeah, they did that for everyone. I'm telling you.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
The Bali photographers, like some people go to Bali and
they make it an entire your Instagram trip. That was
like the one section that was like very instagrammy vibes.
But like you, they'll go and hire their own photographers
because they think they need to, but they don't. The
people who like work at all of these attractions are
so good at photography it's insane. They do all these

(02:17):
crazy things for their phone. Your phone, they changed your
settings for you.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah, they did this like whoa exactly?

Speaker 5 (02:24):
They like did some slow mo video at the waterfall too,
And when I counted three, you're gonna put your hands
up like this.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
It was honestly a little overwhelming for me because I
do love a good Instagram shop, but not to that extent.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
It looked like a model, looked like a sports illustrated cover.
So wow, very cool. Uh, well, you know what, I
don't want to outdo your anything. Yeah, in my weekend
in five photos, what do you got? I went to
the Hopkins uh Street Art fair and I met the
official Hopkins Raspberry, So Raspberry capital of Minnesota. There's a

(02:57):
guy walking around in raspberry suit. Nobody's paying any attention
to him. So I'm like, hey, gonna get a picture
with you. And and so there's a picture of me
with the Raspberry guys.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
So see that you look great, pretty.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Excited, pretty excited about that? Yeah, shut up? Okay, all right,
give me your favorite picture.

Speaker 8 (03:13):
Bailey for the weekend minus me and Katie Cap. We
so every year she celebrates her birthday like in a
kind of a big way. She and her twin, Kevin
Cap and they got a suite at the Saints game
and so we got to, you know, bougie it up
and have like beer. Well they weren't free, they paid
for them, but if they were free to me, free food,
free beers at the Saints game on Friday night, and

(03:34):
we won, which was cool. And I got to se
little dudes running around little baseball outfits and hang out
with all my friends.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Nice, By the way, you can see all these photos
on Dave Ryan Show on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
My favorite picture from the weekend.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
We went to some friend's house to watch the UFC
fight Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
And our friend has a cat.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
They went on a trip to Mexico brought their cat
back of sombrero.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
So there's a.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Little kitty wearing a little kitty size sombrero.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
It's on Dave ryanshow dot com. He's so cute.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Go check those out. Was there one photo that you
wanted to highlight from your weekend.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I guess for your trip because I posted on Instagram.
This won't be any kind of spoiler for something we're
doing later. But I got a tattoo. So you can
see the tattoo I have on there. It's a lotus
flower and it's on the inside of my right arm,
and I've never gotten one that shows that aggressively in
normal clothing, one are pretty hidden. So it was a

(04:24):
very impulsive decision and I love it.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
It's cute.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I like it a lot, and I know that we'll
discuss it more throughout the week. But Dave and Bailey
talking about getting a tattoo before the.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
End of You've heard that, so I brought up not
the same tattoo.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
They might get the same tattoo, But I brought up
what if we all just got a tattoo together for
one time at one time?

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Wait, what are you guys think about geting? We're getting good.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Bit, yep, good bit, just a tiny, little two inch
long good bit right here.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
On the inside of the floor.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah, Arthur's going to come in from Aloha Monkey Touch tomorrow.
Did your did Joji's pop prink for My Little Doggie
Girl Show. It is a by the way, I gotta
mention this one because I don't want you to miss this.
If you'll only listen early. We are doing a big
farewell show broadcast at Mall of America on Thursday. And
yesterday I sat no Saturday. I sat out on the

(05:12):
deck and I invited every former member of The Dave
Ryan Show that I could think of except Jackson to
come to the final broadcast. And within minutes, everybody was like,
I'm in Intern, John Steve o Fallon, Lena, Corey Foley,

(05:32):
Angie Extreme, Jamie Lee Wohlswick. They're all gonna be there
this Thursday. This is like a one of a kind,
never will happen ever again, gathering of everybody who's been
on the Dave Ryan Show for the last thirty three years.

Speaker 8 (05:46):
I'm so excited, me Lena, Honestly, I'm like, they're all great.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I've luckily been able to meet all of them before.
But Dave already ran into someone at the airport yesterday who.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Was talking to me and she was like, I'm gonna
come on Thursday. Like I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I'm like, it's gonna be great, good because I am
terrified that no one will show up.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Yeah right, I think it's going to be standing around
in room and like people everywhere.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
That's a big, big face to fill.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
But I am We've all in radio, you do events,
and your big fear is that nobody will show up,
just like anybody they having a party. You have a
little Fourth of July party and you little get together,
and you're worried nobody's gonna show up. So let me
know that you're gonna show up, so I feel better
about myself.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
A lot of people are.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I can imagine like Corey Foley looking out in the crowd, going,
this is all the people you could draw in.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Six until ten.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
And I think the I told everybody'd show up, you know,
as earlier late as well, not as late, but early
as you want to, but by about seven thirty or
eight o'clock. So all the the Dave Ryan Show, All
Stars Hall of Fame will be there all morning long
except Jackson so oh, and also Drake. I did not
invite Drake because I mean, he can come if he

(06:53):
wants to, but I just figured, you know, it'd be
a little bit awkward.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Well, how's the show gonna function without drake.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
The board.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
All right, we'll be back in a second with you
can't make this stuff up. A new trend is emerging
in fashion cleavage. But it's different cleavage than you think.
What kind of cleavage are you supposed to show? Now,
we'll cover it next on you can't make this stuff up?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Four?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Well, there is a new kind of cleavage that you
are supposed to show. It is not the cleavage that
you think. It is not women's cleavage. It is not
butt cleavage. But it's not but cleavage.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
It is.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
You forgotten.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
It is actually, yeah, male cleavage. It is but butt crack.

Speaker 8 (07:39):
I would like to stand on a podium here and
say no.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I agree, because I got to see a lot of
it yesterday because the guy on the plane next to me,
he got up because he was middle seat. I was
window stood up, butt crack in my face. I guess
he was like bending over to get out and there
it was, Yes, a solid couple inches.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Well, here's the good news. Front side cleavage is also
a thing for men too. The latest example at the
con Film Festival happening. Now there's a model been making
his case for an aggressively open shirt. It's not just
to forget a button open. It's the is this a
shirt or is this a cape open? These shirts don't
even really need to have buttons. He designed these shirts
himself specifically to be worn or hung around his chest.

(08:24):
They will be launched in stores and you can try
to look too. They can be buttoned technically, so if
your summer physique isn't quite ready for primetime yet, you
can ease into it one button at a time.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
I don't understand how, guys, whenever you're sitting on a
sitting anywhere, First of all, you don't feel the breeze
back there. But also when you're sitting on a chair
and yo ass is all leaned up against a cold chair,
either pull your pants up or pull your shirt down.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
My guy, yeah, I think that you can feel that,
but apparently some people can't. Let's move on to the
food category, which we love. If you're one of the
few other people who needs to try everything, here are
some new flavors that are going viral. Hormel, the makers
of spam, I've introduced the spam dog, which is basically
spam in the shape of a hot dog.

Speaker 8 (09:07):
See that sounds good, but it also sounds like too
much spam.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I know what you mean. Spam should be eaten and slices,
not los or hunks.

Speaker 8 (09:15):
Like slices are like diced in like a rice or something.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
But just what you mean by itself, it doesn't seem
that different.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Although you are a connoisseur of spam or hot dogs,
you probably have stronger feelings. Not available in stores, but
they're rolling mouth this summer and select restaurants, convenience chains
in baseball stadiums across the country. Then let's move on
to a farm in Massachusetts that is selling asparagus ice cream. Yes,
it's called Flavors of Cooked Farm. It's a dairy farm,

(09:41):
and it's in the town called Hadley, which is known
as the asparagus capital of the world. It is kind
of seasonal. It's called Hadley Grass and it has almonds.
They say, people will think it's a joke, but then
they try it and they're like, for real, what does
it taste like? She says, there are strings or chunks
of asparagus, but when you firs take a bite, you
get the sweet with the almond, like a pistachio flavor.

(10:04):
Then the asparagus hits you on the backside and you're like, oh,
there it is. And then if you're in the mood
for a crunchy or snack, there's a weird cracker that
is infused with whole dried digger wasps.

Speaker 9 (10:18):
No.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
What, The dough of the cracker is slightly sweet, and
the dried wasp taste a little bit like burned raisins.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
If that sounds good to you.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
That sounds gross, I would try the asparagus ice cream.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (10:32):
No, there's this ice cream place in LA when I
went a few years ago called Salt and Straw, and
they have such weird flavors, but they all work. And
they have like savory ice cream, but it tastes delicious.
So I feel like savory ice cream with like almond
in it the whole Yeah what they said, what sounds
like tastes like pistachios.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
That sounds delicious. I would try that.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, I'm trying that too. I love trying new foods,
so I would try probably any of those wasps even,
I would.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Do that too. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Why God, you know, I've had like, you know, chocolate
covered crickets before the world's largest candy state did.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
I saw them, I picked them up, and then I
thought m at a Nott.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Some flavors don't got a mix, like whenever Orioles comes
out with certain flavors or lays chips they come out
with some things don't have to cross paths.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
It's okay, I understand, okay that if you can't make
this stuff up. Brought to you by the Leo Agency, choose
Leo dot com. All right, couple of things. I want
to let you know that the big broadcast, the final
broadcast of the Dave Ryan Show, the least the public
one that for everybody, is this Thursday, Mall of America, Rotunda,
six till ten in the morning.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'm super excited about it.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
There will be a Dave Ryan roast as inspired by
the Kevin Hart roast, the Tom Brady roast, the Justin
Bieber roast, all the other roasts that they've done. So
bring it, you little bees, bring it.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
I am nervous for some of the people who are
gonna bring it.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Steve Oh, yes, well, Steve Ann intern John.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
I've beene to his comedy tour before he gets filthy
and roasted you at your twenty fifth anniversary party too.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
I remember, I remember that Steve is a loose Cannon,
and I'm worried that he's going to forget that he's
on the radio and say something horribly horrible and appropriate offensive.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
He's going to forget because he hasn't done it in forever.
We had him on a podcast once with us, and
we had to delete half the podcast. And that was
on a podcast where we're allowed to do whatever we want.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
I get it, by the way, come by get copies
of my book. I'm going to give away free copies
of my book to as long as they last. And
I've got a bunch of copies of my book, so
we'll be doing that all right. I need some ideas
for you to sing a long song of the day.
Let us know what you want to sing along with.
Somebody who already texted in some of the Beauty and
the Beat by Justin Bieber. Not a bad idea. Somebody
else said that we should do this song. Can I

(12:49):
tell you the truth. I tried to find Amy Babobbi
because I wanted to invite her. I was going to
pay her own airfare and hotel for her to come
to the final broadcast, and I cannot find her on
Instagram everywhere.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
After you told me about it. I can't find her
anywhere she's gone.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Wouldn't that be cool to have Amy Bbobby even if
she didn't perform the song, just to have her there
and meet her there. No, I don't know if she's there.
I kind of think she has to do the song,
but she can't perform like without editing herself. Pa pa pa, pup,
pup up up up, party tailers editing.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
She like them all blank them by hersel Man.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
I feel like she could have edited it more.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Actually, if you know how to get ahold of Amy Bbobby,
please send me a text at katib one. Seriously, I
would fly her out from Amsterdam, put her up at
the Ratison Blue and have her on the show.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
That would make my day. That would be so cool.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Anyway, I hope to see this Saturday this Thursday at
Mall of America six till ten.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
What song do you want to sing along with?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Send me a text and we'll do it next on
KD double ub Dave Bryan.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
One of Minnesota's founding fathers one on one point three,
kat wb.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I hope you have a great week, and it was
so gorgeous on Saturday. You know what we did on
Saturday we got on the e bikes. We rode forty
miles total on the e bikes, which you know, on
an e bike it's pedalous cyst you you know, you
can have as much assistance as you want. But we
rode all the way from Victoria to downtown Hopkins to
the Big Art Festival and then we rode back. And

(14:20):
let me tell you, my taint tain't.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Happy right now. It was like, her taint is like going,
I tain't want to do that no more.

Speaker 8 (14:28):
I don't think I could be a biker because that
would hurt my taint too much.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
It was really hard on Susan because she's like right
on the v words. She's like, oh god, my pe hurts.
It was like, stop being so vulgar. She's like, well,
my p hurts.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah, E bike. Like both of you are on one bike.
You both have your own e bikes. I know we each
have our own YEA.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Eric's fan would be adorable love that.

Speaker 8 (14:46):
I used to ride around in a sandom bike with
one of my boyfriends and he always said that the
tallest person had to go in front. And then I realized,
like later in life, that he was gaslighting me. That
dude was six five in front of me. I can't
see anything on a tandem bike.

Speaker 6 (14:59):
View.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
It's crazy, It's crazy, all right? Anyway, sing a long
song of the day.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Who's our caller on the phone.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Good morning, Amanda, Good morning guys.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
What did you do this weekend? Amanda?

Speaker 8 (15:10):
Uh? Absolutely nothing.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Did you at least scroll on your phone?

Speaker 10 (15:17):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (15:18):
I did.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
I was on Instagram a lot and drink a lot
of coffee.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yeah that's fine, Okay, very good, All right, Amanda. Let's
make your morning here with a sing a long song
of the day. What do you want to sing along to today?

Speaker 4 (15:29):
I would like to.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Hear lamfao sexy and I know it because Dave, you
are sexy and.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
You know it. You damn right, you damn right.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Okay if it was nineteen ninety four, yes, no longer.
Dave's dirt on kd WB. We're gonna kick off with
a very self indulgent story. I love Saturday Night Live.
We never stay up to watch it. I was up
to watch the entire thing on Saturday because Will Ferrell
was on, and the first thing he did is he

(16:00):
didn't come out. Chad Kroger. The drum is Chadroger. Chad Smith,
Chad Smith, Chad Kroger' from Nickelbeck.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
So Chad Smith, the drummer from Red Hot Chili Peppers,
looks just like Will Ferrell and it's funny. So he
comes out and he poses as Will Ferrell. The first
thing my wife, Susan says, is that's not him, and
I'm like, you're right, that's the drummer from Red Hot
Chili Peppers. So here's a little clip when Chad Smith
hijacked the intro Will.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
It's not Will the real to be back here hosting
Saturday in Their Lives.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
I was a cast member here for seven years, and.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Now I'm hosting for the sixth time. What the hell
do you think you're doing? I think I'm hosting the show.
You're not the host I am.

Speaker 10 (16:50):
You're Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Seriously, what are you even doing here? I'm the musical
guest tonight, Tana.

Speaker 9 (16:58):
No, Paul McCartney is the stage.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
All right, card Clapron.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
He's a bad guy.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
So what was cool was later in the show I
noticed that it wasn't Paul McCartney's regular drummer who was
drumming for Paul McCartney, Chad Smith, which Chad Smith had
to be pooping in his pants, going I'm playing the
drums for a beetle. And here's a little clip of
one of the songs they did. Paul McCartney is such

(17:51):
a treasure. He can't sing like he used to because
he's eighty three years old. That it's a little bit
I don't want to say cringey, but it's kind of
getting there where it's like, oh man, he doesn't sound
very good, but it's so nostalgic and iconic that you'd
just give him a free pass because it's a beatle.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Yeah, God sick, you have.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
To, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
Well, it's no longer Call Her Daddy, It's called her Mommy.
Alex Cooper, the host of Call Her Daddy, is pregnant.
She just announced it with a carousela baby bump pictures
on Instagram. And her and her hubby, Matt Kaplan, they've
been together since like twenty twenty married back in twenty
twenty four, and there's been so much drama going on
between her and Alex Earl and then a lot of
reports have been coming up coming out about her husband,

(18:31):
who helps run the Call Her daddy like podcast network,
and so honestly, I was kind of shocked to see
that she was pregnant, because, if anything, I thought that
they could be getting a divorce.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
But no, quite to the opposite.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
It's good she's a bait and switch.

Speaker 8 (18:45):
Last week I was talking all about how Pete Davidson
and Elsie Hewitt have now broken up and they have
a five month old baby.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Well, now that's.

Speaker 8 (18:52):
Coming out that maybe Pete Davidson is a little bit
of a deadbeat dad, because Elsie Hewitt posted on TikTok
that she has a baby to take care of and
also she has to work and make money and she's
doing it all on her own, which is hard. And
when someone's posted or like commented, I hope you don't
mean you're doing it a financial part alone. That would
be insane given the circumstances. She responded with I am,

(19:15):
but then deleted it. So it seems not so great
for those two. But all of Pete Davidson's friends say, oh,
that's not true, that he's provided full financial support for
their daughter, Scottie. So I man, I wish I could
hear like directly from Pete Davidson. I want to know

(19:37):
exactly what's going on here, because it just seems like
this Elsie Hewitt.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
We're hearing from her.

Speaker 8 (19:42):
But I like this the juicy story.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
From the box office, It'sontavius Carl Michael. The Michael Jackson
biopic reclaped the top spot at the box office this
weekend twenty six point one million, coming number two of
the box office. Devil was product to at eighteen million
and number three Obsession. I have heard and seen so
many good things.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Last my daughter sent me a clip on TikTok. She said,
we gotta go see that because we love movies like that.
And I guess the director is twenty one years old
and was making like TikTok movies or something like that.
And they say it's so good and so creepy.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Are you talking about Obsession? I believe. So this is
another movie that's coming out by a twenty year old.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Maybe that's what I'm thinking about. That one's called back Rooms.
Would I would see that? Okay, maybe I'm thinking of
a different one. But this is the one where a
guy wishes that a girl really likes him. Oh okay,
then she becomes obsessed with him.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
So then shout out young people for all the movies
you got in the movie.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
That's amazing, amazing. Hey, did you see the Ronda Rousey fight? Yes?
I did. Did it really only last seventeen seconds?

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Dave?

Speaker 3 (20:41):
We have been on We've been on the air longer
than the fight last day, little one.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Ronda, Okay, I wanted to make sure.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
I did any seventeen seconds.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Seventeen freaking seconds, girl, all the fights that lasted like
but I guess the pre fights were much longer each
than they only went on like one round each.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Ronda had her and.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I don't know what they're called, a choke hold, I guess,
and the girl tapped out like immediately.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
Ronda Rousey made like two something million and the other
girl made one million just for that.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Was that a pay perview or was it just like
live on Netflix?

Speaker 2 (21:12):
I think both.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Oh, yeah, the option because we were at friends houses
and I think her boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Was like, are you gonna do pay per views? She
was like, no, that's what Netflix is for. I think it.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
So it was Yeah, we didn't see that one, but
here's the winning ring announcement for Ronda Rousey.

Speaker 10 (21:24):
Referee big Zehn McCarthy called to stop to this contest
at seventeen seconds at the very first round to clear
your winner by submission by bar rowdy.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
R Now, it seems like it was kind of more
of an exhibition fight because Ronda hadn't fought in close
to a decade and her opponent, Gina, had not been
in the ring since two thousand and nine, so it
seems like they were both there for a paycheck, especially
Gina tapping out seventeen seconds in.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
I mean, it was Ronda Rousey. If you didn't type out,
your arm was gonna get broke.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
But and you said the sorry, I forget her name already,
the one that lost.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
She made a million, She made like a million somewhere.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
I got to find that exact number.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
But yeah, chap out and.

Speaker 8 (22:16):
Be like cool, give me my mill.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Yeah, woody love it.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
She's become pretty popular ever since being on Dancing with
the Stars outside of being on the Secret Lives of
Mormon Wives. But here she is explaining why she's deciding
to leave more the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Speaker 9 (22:30):
If you're a fan of the show, like you know
I do, notoriously. I would step out every once in
a while, but then I'd come back and every time
I left, it was never. It wasn't with gratitude, it
wasn't in good circumstances.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
But this time it is.

Speaker 9 (22:44):
It just feels like a chapter that's closing in my life.
My cup is full, and it just feels like it's
time good.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
She doesn't need it anymore because she's got a lot
of other things going for.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
The Survivor finale is on this Wednesday, Jenny.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
I'm not caught up either.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
I'm really fard but there I'm not going to say
who's in the final five.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
If you know, you know.

Speaker 8 (23:04):
But there's only one person from like old Survivor that's
in the final five. Everyone else is from the new
era of Survivor, which is the last five seasons.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
Which I think a lot of people are upset about.

Speaker 8 (23:15):
I am upset about it, Jenny, and don't get me started.
It's fine right now. If you're wondering. I am third.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Place in the Fantasy League. Congrats.

Speaker 8 (23:23):
I will not make it past third because both regular
Guy my boyfriend, and this guy named Andrews are way
in advance of before always a.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Regular guy beat. He's never even watched it. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
There's a big broadcasting legend that has turned in their stripes.
This week, it's not Dave. No, it's Stephen Colbert. This
Thursday's his last broadcast. And what was really cool was
he had David Letterman, was the original host of The
Late Show, on his show last week and as a
big I guess, like, screw you for being fired, they
threw CBS furniture off of the roof of the Excellivant
Theater where they get that.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Idea Jenny steal that. Yeah, right, no clue.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Actually, it's been known for throwing things off the buildings
for like thirty or forty years.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
The thief.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Yeah, I say, I think that was before my time
that you guys did that.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
It definitely was.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
I was going to say, it's kind of a long
story and we maybe have audio. We'll relive some of
that stuff a little bit later in the week. By
the way, I want to invite just you know how
I just heard from Pastor Catherine is in town.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Oh yeah, she texted me last week. We want to
to you guys.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
She wants to come by and say hi. So we'll
have Pastor Catherine in later on this week. That's so cool. Yeah,
Gary Spivey is going to be in this week as well.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yes, Wednesday morning, I must.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Come by on Wednesday and then our friend Brian from
Snap Fitness going to come in with some summer fitness
tips tomorrow. Big Show Finale show on frist Thursday, Rotunda,
Mall of America with the kt W be like Hall
of Fame.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
It's like Avengers endgame for the Day Ryan Show.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
It's like everybody who's ever been on the show, even Wilson,
is going to be here. I love Wilson. She's like
nobody remembers me. I'm like, I remember you, and that's
what's important. So Corey Foley, Lee Volsvick, Andy Taylor, Lena,
Steve O, Extreme, Jamie Intern John that I mentioned Lee Volsvic,
there are everybody who's ever been on the show, been

(25:12):
a big role is going to be here. So but
live on the show on Thursday morning about seven thirty
eight o'clock. You can come by and meet them all
at the Rotunda Mall of America. Grab a friend, grab
your office, grab your kids, come on out to them
all of America.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
Yeah, because why not? It's once in a lifetime.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
Oh what happened to be sick that day? Start start
setting it up right now.

Speaker 11 (25:34):
Okay, start coffin. But then you get to MA and
you see your boss there too, and tell your tell
your boss and bring her along to be brave. Okay,
it is time for the Monday morning dance party on
one oh one point three k d w B.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Let's do a little motivational Monday on Katie w B.
This is the last kind of makes me sad motivational
Monday ever.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
And here we go.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
I really like this one. The most underrated underpaid skill
on Earth being easy to deal with, not talented, not brilliant,
just pleasant, reliable and low drama. In every industry. That
person gets the call back every time. The most underpaid

(26:21):
skill on Earth being easy to deal with, not talented,
not brilliant, not pleasant or I'm sorry, just pleasant, reliable,
and low drama in every industry. That person gets the
call back every time. And I think that goes hand
in hand with something that I said on to some

(26:44):
friends last week, and I said on the radio too.
I think it's nice to be important, but it's so
important to be nice, oh because people will remember what
if they say, They remember the way you make them feel.
And I think that's really true. Think about somebody who
always makes you feel good. I give you an example.
Extreme Jamie always one of the kindest, funniest people. He'd
walk into a room and it sounds so corny to

(27:06):
say he just lit up a room, but he came in.
He was funny, and he was endearing, cooperative, silly, was
just a lovely person. It was just nice and you
could have been like, not Extreme Jamie kind of a
big deal. But the nice people are the ones that
you remember because of the way they make you feel.

Speaker 8 (27:25):
So he's saying that he's not talented, then nice not
at all.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, No, he doesn't have to be because he's.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Exactly right and not talented at all.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
He will be there, And I asked him, I said,
can you bring your Extreme Jamie spiedo because he used
to do all these stupid stunts in Espeedo And he
hasn't gotten back to me on the speedo thing because
I think, like all of us, he's probably put on
a couple of lbs since then. It probably looked more
like a mitten than it would then it would. So
somebody text in and said, hey, can we get there

(27:56):
right at six o'clock for the final broadcast? And I'm like, yeah, absolutely,
the doors will and we're gonna be in the Rotunda
Mall of America. So park in the East Parking ramp
by the Big Sea Life Underwater sea World whatever it's
called now, sea Life Aquarium.

Speaker 8 (28:08):
Yeah, it's right by the Corolla not Corolla Crayola Crayola Experience.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yes, that's where I park all the time. Okay, that's
where I park all the time in the East Parking Ramp.
And that time of the morning you should be able
to park up really close. The mall walkers will be there. Yeah,
I love to have you there.

Speaker 8 (28:24):
Someone asked me if they were like can I line up?

Speaker 7 (28:26):
Like?

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Can we line up? Where are we gonna line up?
And I was like, I don't think there's gonna be
a line.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
I don't think there's gonna be a line.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Walk in.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
I get a text message, says Dave, I'm so upset.
I've been listening all thirty three years. I'm in divorce
court Thursday and Friday. I'm going to miss your send off.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Damn it.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
I'm literally thinking of asking to postpone. But I've been
fighting for two years.

Speaker 8 (28:43):
She'll probably try to get your divorce and stuff.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Probably so yeah. Another one said I can't make it.
My daughter has kindergarten graduation on Thursday and I live
five hours north and I can't make it to the
mall of America. Wtf, dude, lol from Alyssa, Well, well
you've got to get your already straight. Yeah, forget kindergarten graduation, Dave. Yeah,
all show. Shout out to COVID baby Emmy Lou. It

(29:07):
is your sixth birthday today, Mama, Mommy Alyssa, So Emmy Lou,
happy sixth birthday, birthday. Coming back in a second on
the day, Brian in the Morning Show, Jenny had a
big birthday yesterday.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Yeah, twenty thirty five.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Thirty six, thirty six. Wow.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
If you round that update, it's forty.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
It's forty, but you don't have to. At this point
we're still in the mid range. So I'm still in
mid thirties in my eyes.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
I know, I got you, I gotcha.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I'm we a little birthday celebration for Jenny, and then
we got named that tune coming up one hour commercial
free coming up next hour on Kate Dubleub. Thank you
for being here.
