Six and A Song - The Election Edition: Greens Co-Leader Marama Davidson - Simon Barnett & James Daniels Afternoons

Marama Davidson became an MP in 2014 – quickly rising through the ranks to become co-leader of the Green Party in 2018. 

Before politics she worked for the Human Rights Commission, the Owen Glenn inquiry into violence, and Breastfeeding New Zealand. She’s also a qualified aerobics instructor. 

She’s been a staunch advocate for human rights and the environment throughout her career.
