In New Zealand’s $23.8 billion tech sector, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing industries, there's growing calls to boost gaming.

Industry figures have been calling on the Government to support the sector, and an editorial recently published in the NZ Herald has made a case for video games.

New Zealand Esports Federation founding board member Duane Mutu joined the Afternoons team to discuss.
