Olympian Emma Twigg's gold medal in the women’s single sculls at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics was a true story of perseverance having gone through four Olympics and two fourth place finishes before her moment of Olympic glory.
Alongside her Olympic gold, she is a 2-time bronze, 2-time silver and gold medallist in the same discipline at the World Championships. She has also somehow found time to achieve a number of qualifications, including a Bachelor of Communication and a Master's degree in international sports management, being a cycle mechanic, a marriage celebrant and has completed her boat master's qualification.
Emma Twigg was Simon Barnett & and James Daniels' guest for this weeks’ Six and a Song.
