I was girl. I went on her episode while I
was fasting, so I was like super like emotional and
raw and it will you know, you just feel everything.
And I was just like like, and we were talking
about my mom and my mother passed when I was
two years old, and we talked about my dad going
and dropping me off my aunt's house, and I got
like super emotional because I didn't know that story until

my aunt told me, what do you mean? My mother
passed when I was two, and my dad took me
to his sister's house and said, I can't raise the
little girl. You gotta raise her for me. And he
dropped me off at her house and she said, I
thought you're gonna be like my daughter. And the next
day he called her and he said I'm coming back,
and she's said, well, what happened? He said, it was
as if God himself sat in the passenger seat on
his way home and said, go get her and I'll
help you raise her. And she said, you would have

never known for those three years that it was just
you and him, that you didn't have a mother, because
your hair was perfect, you were dressed to the nuns.
And I just sat in my closet that day she
told me, and I just bald crying because my dad
never told me. And I called him, I said, Dad,
why did he never tell me that? And he said,
you know, you just try to put things away and
just move on with life. And I just he probably
also did he have guilt around that. Maybe he had

some guilt.

He probably like, they want to tell me, you don't

my mother passed, and then he remarried to my mom.

She was almost your mom. She was her aunts. What
made her tell you that?

I don't know. I have no idea. I guess she
and I grew closer as I got older. She was
always my favorite arm because she makes the best pound cake.
Anybody who knows me knows I love. She would make
me a pound cake, this crystals pundcake and this is
everybody else's. That's how serious the pound cake is. And
for Thanksgiving and Christmas. That's good. But she and I
grew closer as I got older, and I guess one
day she just felt it was time to tell me.

What has been the response to that?

You know, the crazy thing is it is one thing
to do it.

Yeah, you said, Hey, guys, I've been celibate for a
year because it was the word I got, right.

I don't want that for god. Yeah. But the thing is,
so many people were like, oh me and woman me too.
I thought I was alone in this even when I
did that.

Men too, Yes, in the street or in the dms.

Just be careful, right, right. A lot of people like
will comment under the in the posts and say that
I was doing struggling with the same thing. Glad to
feel I'm glad I'm not alone in that. But that
day when I did that episode with Candy, her makeup
artist pulled me aside and said that she had been
selling before a year and like she was just like,
I feel so seen hearing you talk about it, because
women don't really talk about it, you know, but it's

been cool, like even with dating, like it hasn't been
a thing where it's like but it helps you, like
get rid of the people who are there for the
wrong reason. Yeah, straight fast. Yeah.

I know this is a gods a spiritual thing, but

For me, it is one saving, like saving that that
thing massage for marriage and what it was intended for.
I think for me, I was doing it and giving
myself away and when something didn't work, I was heartbroken.
God was trying to protect me from that, you know.
And even in that instance when I was like, okay,
God is really on me about this, I was in

my word and every other page, I'm like, why does
sexual immorality keep jumping off the pages? And he was
coming for me. But let me tell you, Angie. I
was in a relationship and three days later after like
I told my partner, I said, hey, I can't do
this anymore. He called me and said I got my
ex girlfriend pregnant. God was trying to protect me. I'm like,

He was like, and I so when you submit, that's
when that's when he really really.

Yes, and I was fighting that thing.

at sex differently. It's basically like every person say I

I was like disgusting, and I was like, yeah, I'm.

She's like, I don't believe that everybody's I've had text

to share about that because I do believe that it's something,
there's something there that you kind of got to really
pray off and get rid of.

So are you like actively looking to be married? Like,

I believe that when a man finds a wafe, he
finds a good thing. So I'm not looking for anything.
I'm open. I think for so long I was focused
on my career and everything I had going on that
I was just like, this is what I'm focused on.
If it happens, it happens, or I'll just be the
rich auntie as they say. Now I think now I
am open, you know, and I'm leaving space for that
and making room for it. Yeah. Whereas one point I

was just like, I'm focused on what I gotta do.

Yeah, yeah, she said I'm gonna beat a rich I
could beat a rich auntie, especially with this new hair
care line.

And I love my niece and nephew's they're like the best.

Because you have so much free time I have because I.

Have no time. It's crazy. I've been doing my hair
since I was in the third grade. My mom used
put my hair in pigtails, and she said I would
come home every day with my hair pulled out and
be like, oh today, it was so crazy, like what
happened to your hair? And I was like, I don't
want to wear my hair and picktails anywhere. Everybody's called
me Pippy long Stocking in school, and she was like okay.
And I just started doing my own hair at a

very young age. By like the fifth or sixth grade,
I was braiding my own hair and I used to
do videos. Back in like twenty twelve, I did hair
It's called Beauty in a Minute where I was in
the bathroom making avocado mask all types of thing, doing
flexi rod sets and trying to really take care of
my hair. I went natural in two thousand and nine.
Your hair is beautiful, Thank you, thank you. And I

this was something that I've been wanting to do. I
told Ashawna and West I said, hey, guys, I was like,
I really want to build a hair care line. My
hair is something that people know me for even before
I became Fatima and famous for the podcast. They knew
me from YouTube and Instagram doing Beauty in a minute,
so I was like, this is something I've been passionate
about forever. I really want to do it. So ours

had reached out for me to do a real for
another line they had going on, and Shauna being who
she is, Big Boss, Big Aca is her manager.

like yeah. She was like, this can be something bigger.

I'm excited. I'm like, I got my new products. Y'all
had my camera set up. I put that stuff in
my hands. I said, oh, yeah, this hain't it. We

got it done today.

So there's so much respect and etiquette to everything, like
it's clean, it's safe.

about my mom and my mother passed when I was
two years old, and we talked about my dad going
and dropping me off my aunt's house, and I got
like super emotional because I didn't know that story until

my aunt told me, what do you mean? My mother
passed when I was two, and my dad took me
to his sister's house and said, I can't raise the
little girl. You gotta raise her for me. And he
dropped me off at her house and she said, I
thought you're gonna be like my daughter. And the next
day he called her and he said I'm coming back,
and she's said, well, what happened? He said, it was
as if God himself sat in the passenger seat on
his way home and said, go get her and I'll
help you raise her. And she said, you would have

never known for those three years that it was just
you and him, that you didn't have a mother, because
your hair was perfect, you were dressed to the nuns.
And I just sat in my closet that day she
told me, and I just bald crying because my dad
never told me. And I called him, I said, Dad,
why did he never tell me that? And he said,
you know, you just try to put things away and
just move on with life. And I just he probably
also did he have guilt around that. Maybe he had

and I grew closer as I got older. She was

me a pound cake, this crystals pundcake and this is
everybody else's. That's how serious the pound cake is. And
for Thanksgiving and Christmas. That's good. But she and I
grew closer as I got older, and I guess one
day she just felt it was time to tell me.

since I was in the third grade. My mom used
put my hair in pigtails, and she said I would
come home every day with my hair pulled out and

me Pippy long Stocking in school, and she was like okay.
And I just started doing my own hair at a

I was braiding my own hair and I used to
do videos. Back in like twenty twelve, I did hair

the bathroom making avocado mask all types of thing, doing
flexi rod sets and trying to really take care of
my hair. I went natural in two thousand and nine.

hair is something that people know me for even before
