Speaker 2 (00:16):
Good Day, Welcome to podcast number two. I'm Jay Webber,
launching this podcast after retiring from a thirty eight year
career in news and conservative talk radio. I'm going to
claim emeritis status now moving forward, and I hope you
enjoy my podcast product. Ahead on today's podcast, I want
to talk about the real reason Wisconsin Republicans are in
such a losing streak in statewide elections. I want to

(00:37):
talk about the clear win that the US is rarely
effort against Iran represents. The mainstream media and the Trump critics,
of course on both sides, really are in a high
whine about how this is. In the victory, Trump didn't
accomplish anything, bullplop that take his idiotic and we'll get
into why. I'll also touch on some other things that
the mainstream media simply won't tell you or is ignoring
all that's ahead. But first, do you have a financial

plan and is he or she really meeting your needs?

are not an endorsement of the firm. I want to
start with the real reason that the Wisconsin Republican Party
is broken and has racked up such a string of

(01:40):
losses over the recent years. No one within the party
nor the pundit class really wants to be honest and
address this. Apparently, based on what I've seen over the
last few days, the Wisconsin GOP's biggest problem is that
the leaders and organizers of the Thompson and Walker eras
have both aged out and been pushed out of their
influential positions within the party, and we need to see
a generation of new blood and youthful energy rise up

(02:02):
and lead us into the future. The other major issue
right now is yes, Trump and the Mega members are
an issue, but not the way that you think. There's
a political divide within the GOP tent, with people on
both sides blaming the other when things go wrong, and
I'll get into that, but first I want to lay
out some genuine truth here that seems to be being ignored. First, first,

(02:22):
I want to address the biggest problem the Wisconsin Republican
Party has because no one's addressing it, and sadly, until
we address it, the overall condition of the state's Republican
Party isn't going to improve. The fallout from the convincing
Wisconsin Supreme Court win by Chris Taylor and the Democrats
is exactly what to be expected, right, all sorts of
people on the right grumbling and angry, insisting a lack

(02:42):
of money is the problem. Trump is the problem. Brian Shimming,
the head of the party, is the problem. There's been
a lot of Brian Shimming bashing over the last few days,
in particular, and I'm not here to defend him in
any way other than this, Brian Shimming took on an
impossible situation because no one else wanted to, and two
years later, it's still an impossible job that no one
else wants. The hard truth here include this. The biggest

(03:06):
problem the Wisconsin GOP has, which has quietly gone on
for years, basically since Scott Walker lost reelection in twenty eighteen,
is that no one atop the Wisconsin Republican Party has
really wanted to run it. No one's been excited to
step up and drive this thing since Right's previous left
and the run of successes during the Walker era came
to an end. No one has excitedly volunteered to be

(03:27):
the state party chairman because by God, I love politics.
I've got a passion for this. I have a vision
here I can't wait to turn into reality. Most people
don't know this, but Brian Shimming basically took the job
because no one else seemed to really want it. What
the Wisconsin Republican leaders need to do is go out, search, recruit,
and hire an experienced political animal who's super motivated to

(03:49):
shake things up, pull the party together, and lead the
next Republican wave here in Wisconsin. That's what Wisconsin's Republican
Party needs. Another hard truth that no one addresses. Brian
Shimming took over a situation in which rabid Trump supporters
had split the party and insisted they needed to take
over control because the establishment leaders were ef and idiots, right,

(04:10):
And so we saw across the more world parts of
the state, in particular, Trump Republicans wrestling control away from
the longtime Republican leaders at the county level, and then
and then what and then doing nothing with it. Look,
it's hard truth time. These so called mega Republicans who
insisted they could do better haven't done better. They haven't

(04:30):
done Diddley. Oh, they worked hard for Trump. They can
get excited about Trump. They just don't particularly care about
anyone else on the Republican ticket and can't seem to
find the energy to do the thankless and difficult tasks
that are fundraising, organizing, and getting out the vote for
other Republicans, and that has helped cripple the Wisconsin Republican Party.
It has. My mention of this on x drew in

(04:51):
some snarky comments obviously, you know, probably from the same
lazy Trump fans who only want to vote for him
and trash any Republican who might disagree with them. Well,
then you're not the member of a party, But I mean,
this is a real thing. You want to know what's
wrong with the Wisconsin Republican Party. I'm telling you what's
wrong and why it won't get better unless it's addressed.
There were positives and negatives that came along with Donald Trump.

(05:14):
He attracted a big new group of voters to the
Republican Party. That was great, it was badly needed. But
Trump and the media figures who supported him largely took
over but the party by spending a lot of time
and energy bashing and taking out the existing party leaders
and turning off a good sliver of traditional Republican voters.
I don't think anyone who's been following along would deny
that well, that trashing of the longtime establishment and vice

(05:38):
versa created a very real split based on policy differences
and overall ideology. It's a real issue, and it's one
that shouldn't be ignored because we will just keep losing
elections as our own side of the aisles voters remain
unsettled and interested if that's the case, So yeah, we
need Brian Shimming to go, not because he's a bad
guy or because he's failed here in an impossible job.

(06:00):
We need Brian Shimming to lead a nationwide search for
a young, aggressive, smart political wizard who really wants the job,
who really wants to make a name for him or
herself in a battleground state. I stole that last line
from Owen Robinson, who posted it on x in reaction
to my truth telling here. We need an aggressive, smart
political wizard to come in here. We need to find

(06:20):
that sort of person to take the reins here, and
we need to find a whole group of energetic and
excited young people to step up and help that person
usher in the next wave of Republican and Conservative winning
in Wisconsin. Because truth be told, the rest of us
are tired and aging out. That group of Republicans who
ushered Tommy Thompson into office and engineered a fourteen year
run of Republicanism are now in their seventies and eighties, Folks,

(06:44):
the youngest of Tommy Thompson's excited young aides at the
time when he was the governor in the eighties, they're
now sixty. That group of Conservatives who ushered in the
great and dominant Scott Walker era are hitting sixty. In
aging Out two, they've built lives and careers. And these
were the people largely pushed out from atop the party
by aggressive Trump fans who said they could do better.

(07:06):
Well do better, because right now you're poop in the bed,
But having been victims of the hostile takeover and now
being older and feeling like they've done their part for
the Republican and the conservative causes. Yeah, most of those
Walker era people who drove the party from the local
and county level on up are out. We did our part.
Who's next? These are the challenges that face the Wisconsin

(07:28):
Republican Party, and they won't heal themselves over time unless
they're acknowledged. And if I was Brian Shimming and was
done with the job, I'd volunteer to lead a national
search for that young, aggressive superstar that genuinely would love
this job, put all sorts of energy and excitement into
it and love the challenge. Next item all the silly

(07:49):
hand ringing and negativity related to Trump basically declaring victory
in Iran. The one reason I retired from my daily
radio show is that I have grown tired, so tired,
so tired of the constant trashing and bashing and relentless
negativity of nearly everyone involved in politics, I mean both
sides of the aisle. Now is just a snarkfest, a
snipe fest. In this era and in the age of

(08:11):
social media, it's now most important to just trash on
your competition, embrace your hatreds every day. And that's not
healthy for a person, a community, or a country, and
it certainly isn't helpful. I just reject any and all
negativity surrounding this genuinely amazing, generationally amazing military effort that
we've seen here. From the moment President Trump announced his ceasefire,

(08:34):
we've had to endure relentless claims that he declared victory prematurely. Oh,
this is an embarrassment. Oh, he's accomplished nothing. Iran's leaders
are better off than they were before. Shut up. In
order to come up with that crap, you need to
live in the absolute deepest bowels of the Trump derangement swamp. Seriously,
what in the hell are you talking about? The US
and Israel have knocked iron back into the stone ages militarily.

(08:56):
They've neutralized any larger terroristic threat or new clear threat
from Iran, and they did so in less than a month.
They've decimated Hamas and has Blah. These are Iran's biggest
proxies of terror. They've decimated Hamas and it has Belah
and reduced that threat to near zero for the moment,
and I say for the moment. Yeah, these organizations are

(09:17):
going to reform because they're driven by religious zealotry and
anti Western hatreds. They're going to reconstitute. Yes, and yes,
Iran's malas are going to regroup and try to rebuild
if the people of that country aren't courageous enough to
rise up and overthrow them. Yeah, one month long war
action is not going to do miracles, people, nor should
it be expected to. But if Trump cease fire holds

(09:39):
and this essentially ends now, it's already a screaming success.
Trump's team will work out the Strait of Hormuz thing,
they'll work out the uranium thing, they hope diplomatically. But
my god, what a success. Operation Epic Theory achieved virtually
all of its military and anti terrorism goals and with
virtually no loss of Western life. We've destroyed Iran's mil

(10:00):
in nuclear weapons programs decimated. We've destroyed Iran's missile and
nuclear weapons programs. I mean decimated and not easily rebuilt.
We've eliminated the Iranian navy, eliminated the Iranian Air Force.
We have greatly, greatly crippled their ability to fund and
arm and organize those terrorist armies that they had outside
of their borders terrorizing the West in the Middle East.

(10:22):
Iran's economy is on the verge of total collapse. And
this was all done in about thirty five days. Well,
I don't know how you can call this a victory
if you really believe that you're either a kool aid
drinking Trump hating dope or you know nothing about these
Middle Eastern conflicts and have no idea what you're talking about.
According to a recent Joint Chief's assessment, more than ninety

(10:43):
percent of Iran's regular fleet has been destroyed. One hundred
and fifty of its ships now lie at the bottom
of the ocean. Ninety five percent of Iran's weapons factories
were attacked, eighty percent of its nuclear industrial base was destroyed,
eighty percent of its regimes air defenses are destroyed, ninety
five percent of their naval are now gone, eighty percent
of their ballistic missile facilities have been destroyed, as well

(11:04):
as every factory that produces guidance systems for their drones.
Iran's ability to quote reconstitute its defense industrial base is
gone for years and years to come. Folks. This is
not what a defeat looks like, and the US and
Israel achieved it quickly and with relatively tiny losses of
somewhat between that thirteen or fifteen service members killed. This

(11:25):
is an amazing victory. This is an honest assessment of
what's gone on here. Moreover, both China and Russia, as
the West's two biggest global enemies, have now gotten a sense,
i mean, just a taste of what America and Israel's
modern warfare capabilities are. Don't discount that part of the
victory either. We've been operating for decades under the global

(11:45):
sense that, especially under Obama and Biden, America's military is degraded,
it's sloppy, it's incapable, it's losing the battle for military supremacy. Well,
Trump just gave the global a reminder that we remain
the most capable, inventive, and etho military force on the planet.
He just reminded our enemies and the globe we're a
benevolent and generous country. But don't confuse that with weakness.

(12:09):
And after the incredibly weak and feckless Obama and Biden regimes,
man is at a good time for such a reminder.
I for one, don't think the ceasefire will hold, and
it won't because the religious Zelots running Iran and their
Zealot proxy members atop what remains of Hamas and hes
of a Law, have no interest in peace. It would
amount to ending their holy war and everything that drives

(12:29):
them ideologically, so they'll reconstitute. No, the ceasefire won't hold.
Trump's military is going to have to hit him again
at some point in the future. I'm not sure if
that's tomorrow or six months from now or two years
from now, but realize Iran's regime, in their decades long
terror groups are not going to simply go away. No,

(12:50):
the Muslim extremist hatred for America is not going to
go away. No. The West can't get rid of them
that easily, but we can, and we have knocked them
for a devastating loop. I've destroyed all the infrastructure in
leadership hierarchy that they'd built over the last fifty years,
with a lot of expense and toil and blood, This
is a staggering, staggering generational blow to the Jihattish mission.

(13:14):
Let's also realize, unlike Obama or Biden or really any
other traditional US president, Trump and his team are going
to stay on top of this and won't hesitate to
strike Zoron's targets again if they deem it necessary. Most
politicians would simply declare victory and walk away now, you know,
pull back the troops, go back to ignoring the threats
or the larger problem. Trump's very unlikely to do that.

(13:36):
We know he won't because he's proven that in all
other areas and with all other issues. He just never
seems to let go. He never lets go, he never relents.
He's got three more years in office here before any
possible change in leadership occurs. He's not just going to
declare victory and walk away here. He can't. This is
another thing that no one in the news media or
in the Trump hating class wants to admit. America, and

(13:59):
we as tradition Americans, we're in a very strong position
right now. Donald Trump and his team did so much
pre planning for how they would attack this country's problems
before they ever won a second term Trump's second term
White House has already dealt with all sorts of the
difficult problems and destroyed all sorts of leftist and foreign
threats that we were facing in the Biden era. They've

(14:20):
already done this in early closing out on year one
and into a few months of year two of a
four year term. And if you think that Donald Trump's
going to be the traditional lame duck president in the
final two years of his second term, you haven't been
following along. You've learned nothing about this man and his
mission in the last eight years that he's been in
the national political stage. If you think he's just going
to relax and coast for the final two years after

(14:43):
this falls elections at some point, a list the monumental
victories Trump and his team have already achieved and will
continue to influence over the next three years. Because it's
an amazing list. But Trump and his team have destroyed
wocism and largely stopped the transgender bullying of our children.
They've dismiss handled the eCos el at climate change movement
to the point that, you know what, no one on
the left wants to talk about this anymore. The green

(15:06):
groups are so disillusioned and defeated, you can't imagine. Trump
has US back to being energy dominant. He has brought
about leadership change in Venezuela. Cuba might be next. He's
taken care of a forty five year constant terrorism threat,
agains the West to a greater extent than anyone would
have expected and thought possible, certainly in a month, month

(15:27):
and a half, and all we get is negativity. I've
learned that today's leftists and Trump haters just have a
habit of going silent on issues that they're losing. They
don't want to talk about climate change all of a sudden,
et cetera. Here's another thing. Have you noticed that they
don't want to talk about ICE operations anymore. It's not
as if ICE has stopped rounding up in deporting criminals
and illegal aliens. Now the mass deportation continues, and it's

(15:50):
nearing a total number of about three million, about seven
hundred thousand physically rounded up and deported, and at about
two million self deported. But every effort to stop it
or message against this has been unsuccessful, and so now
this all falls on deaf ears. There. Left doesn't want
to talk about this suddenly other than you know, defunding ICE.

(16:11):
It's not like Mark Wayne Mullen, whose Trump's new DHS head,
is going to be any less aggressive than Christy Nome was.
Hopefully he'll be smarter about messaging and managing the operation
than Gnome was. But it's not like our mass deportation
effort has ended. It's still underway. And I love that
Mullen is now talking about ways to cripple and or
punish the sanctuary cities whose leaders refuse to cooperate. I

(16:32):
love this idea of taking away custom sites from the
airports that are in sanctuary cities. If you haven't heard
about this, Mullin floated it this week while basically asking
if the leaders of the cities are pro illegal and
can't be trusted to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, why
should we be trusting the members of those communities to
deal honestly with the Homeland Security and customs operations.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Some of these cities have international airports. If they're sanctuary cities,
should they really be processing customs and to their city? Seriously,
if they're a sanctuary city and they're receiving international flights
and we're asking them to partner with US at the airport,

(17:14):
but once they walk out of the airport, they're not
going to enforce immigration policy. Maybe we need to have
a really hard look at that, because we need to
focus on cities that want to work with US.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I like this as a new way to just rattle
the cages of the left wing America haters. If nothing else,
they're running some of our larger communities, So let's do it. Meanwhile,
there have been so many crimes committed against Americans and
so regularly the Democrats and the activists left now simply
refuse I mean, they just refuse to talk about any
of those cases. The fact that dangerous illegal aliens are victimizing, abusing, harming, robbing,

(17:48):
killing Americans routinely is now so apparent that the Democrats
and their activists, the pro illegal crowd, they refuse to
even talk about it. Every few days, it's a new story.
Earlier this week, a haiti An illegal bludgeoned a mother
of two to death outside of a gas station in Florida.
This is a forty year old scumbag who was welcomed
into the country by the Biden administration in twenty twenty two.

(18:11):
He was given temporary legal status to boot. Joe Biden
and his America hating regime are directly responsible for this
monster too, and the left certainly won't acknowledge it and
doesn't want to talk about it. And do you know
that no federal agency keeps records related to how many
illegals are harming and killing Americans? Isn't that amazing? In
this era of our government keeping records on absolutely everything,

(18:32):
we have no database and no system of tracking how
many illegal aliens are harming and killing Americans every year?
Isn't that interesting? And isn't that intentional? Of course it is.
So we know that there's been an overall US migration
into the Red States as people flee the blue states, right,
This is a trend that's been going on for at

(18:53):
least a decade now. But a new deep dive study
of these migration patterns has found that about five and
a half million Americans have moved into pro Trump red
counties from blue counties just since twenty twenty. When I
emphasize this is the figure for only the last five years.
This isn't going back ten years, or the number would
have been even higher. But the Independent News Organization issues

(19:13):
and Insights commissioned to study using the latest census data,
and they found this overall migration, this slow abandonment of
the high tax, low freedom parts of the country is
also occurring on a county to county basis. Understand this
is an important distinction. We aren't just seeing people abandoning
blue states for red states. That's been happening for years
and we have been tracking it with the census data.

(19:35):
This study shows that there are millions of Americans who
might not want a major disruption in their lives or
want to move to a different state to get away
from the Democrats, but by God, they can move to
a neighboring red county. Understand I'm use in it Wisconsin example.
This isn't moving from Wisconsin to Florida, which is what
a good number of Wisconsinites have done, but this is
moving out of Milwaukee County and into Washington County to

(19:58):
at least get away from the in sufferably high crime
and property taxes and bureaucratic mismanagement of Milwaukee. This is
what the New Issues and Insights study is measuring. They
found that just over the last five years, five point
four million Americans moved from lefty run counties to pro
Trump counties. Remember, the last three national maps on election
nights were virtually all red too. Only the coastal states

(20:21):
and the big cities were showing up blue. We have
to remember that in twenty twenty and in twenty twenty four,
Trump and the Republicans won nearly three thousand counties across
the country and Hillary and Cammy only won about four
hundred and fifty. Nearly all of America geographically is Republican.
So to have five point four million Americans move out
of those four hundred and fifty Democrat led counties and

(20:44):
into a red county is all the more remarkable to me.
This represents millions of Americans literally abandoning the Democrat Party,
its high taxes, its socialist policies, using their feet. It's
millions of families deciding, let's get out of here. I
don't want to live under these conditions anymore, and at
least hop the county line. It also helps shatter this
myth that the bulk of the American people are with

(21:06):
the Democrats and their agenda and they hate Trump. Oh
do they hate Trump and the evil Republicans. America just
hates these sobs, and we want to shove them out
of office in favor of enlightened, superior Democrats. But every
demographic trend has the American people migrating more and more
toward red states and red counties. I mean, if the
Democrats and their agenda were so popular, we'd be seeing

(21:28):
a mass migration moving the other way, from red states
to counties and counties into blue states and counties. Correct.
So an interesting sidebar to this study is that it
helps shatter that everyone hates Trump and the evil GOP
myth that the left wing activists and their accomplices in
the media are so invested in. But this study of
the census data found that in just two years, using

(21:49):
just two years of data between twenty twenty and twenty
twenty two, after Biden took office, two point six million
Americans abandoned their blue counties and moved into red counties.
During those two years, the exit has continued since. They
say that during Biden's four year tenure, nearly four million
people abandoned blue counties for red counties. The more exact
figure is three point seven million. Imagine in just four

(22:12):
years the Biden administration in today's increasingly socialistic and bullying
Democrat Party drove three point seven million Americans to seek
residency in a lower tax, higher freedom red county. And
that's in addition to the tens of millions of Americans
who abandoned their blue state entirely and moved to a
red state. That's a different stat altogether. So tell me

(22:34):
how much Americans hate and reject Trump and the modern
GOP's agenda. Come on. This study found that of the
ten counties with the biggest population games over the last
five years, only one was a deep blue county. Nine
of the ten counties that saw the biggest influx of
residents were pro Trump red counties. And the pattern holds
no matter how far down you go in that migration list.

(22:56):
For example, if you look at the top fifty counties
with the biggest population gains over the last five years,
all but five are pro Trump read counties. Only five
are blue counties out a fifty. I mean, that's remarkable.
If erases any claim that this is a mixed bag
of migration, it is decidedly not. The American people are
moving one way, and it's not toward the Democrats and

(23:19):
higher taxes and woke schools. And fewer freedoms is it.
This becomes even more evident as you look at the
blue states that are losing chunks of their residents to
red states like California, New Jersey, New York, et cetera.
For example, we know California has lost about two million
people to this migration over the last five years, but
within the state itself, the few counties that consistently vote

(23:41):
Republican have gained population, Meaning these are fed up Californians
who didn't want to leave the state, but my god,
can we at least move across the county line and
live in a Republican controlled county. The state of New
Jersey is another interesting situation. It only has seven solidly
pro Trump counties. Has seven solidly pro Trump counties. The

(24:02):
rest of the state is Blue folks, though seven red
counties have gained nearly twenty five thousand residents over the
last five years, as the blue counties in New Jersey
have lost more than two hundred and fourteen thousand residents.
Put another way, as two hundred and fourteen thousand people
abandoned New Jersey altogether for a red state, another twenty
five thousand moved across the county line to at the

(24:24):
very least get away from the Democrats running their community.
And this is really good stuff, these findings. We keep
hearing how unpopular Trump and the Republican policy are bull PLoP.
We can see by their own actions what the American
people really think. This reminds me of something that Jamie
Diamond said in an interview recently. He's the CEO of

(24:45):
the world's largest bank. If you don't know, JP Morgan Chase,
he talked about why people are fleeing the Blue States
recently on Fox and he said, it's quality of life.
It's your subways, it's your hospitals. But it's also individual taxes,
state taxes, corporate taxes, and it drives people out. He
compared the Blue States and the Red States, saying all
you have to do is look at California versus Nevada,

(25:05):
and New York versus Florida. He said there's a huge
exodus taking place. It is not good for a city.
And he said, people just make a mistake. Oh, just
tax these people. That's the outcome, he said, And every
and very often people think they're being moral by doing that,
but they're not. What they're doing is they're hurting your
own city. Yeah, Diamond has that right. And at this point,

(25:28):
these simple truths are so evident that even the editors
at the LA Times can see it and will admit
to it. This is the Los Angeles Times recently saying, gee,
let's cut the nonsense. This claim that people don't move
based on their tax burden is boloney. Of course they
do quote it's not a coincidence that some of our
largest blue cities also have some of the highest income

(25:49):
and rental prices. So does fleeing these cities really benefit
the people who move to red states. They cite a
new paper by UC Berkeley's California Policy Lab, and they
say the answer to this question is yes. Let's stop there,
Holy cal let's stop there. This is a study out
of the uber lefty UC Berkeley, and they found that, yes,

(26:09):
moving to a lower taxed red state is benefiting the
people who are doing it. Wow. I just have to
marvel at this for a moment. This is the UC
Berkeley study, so critics can't say this is right wing propaganda.
This study found quote for people of limited incomes who
moved out of the Golden State taking part in the
California exodus can bring dramatically improve financial conditions. The researcher

(26:32):
study the finances of people who left California over the
last decade to see how well they did in their
new communities. They generally left for nearby states such as
Nevada and Arizona, but also for hot locales such as
Texas and Florida. Before leaving California, those who left paid
on average two three hundred and seventy six dollars in
monthly housing costs. After relocating to another state, former Californian

(26:52):
spent just oney seven hundred and five dollars per month,
which was a drop of six hundred and seventy one
dollars per month. That was their savings per month just
by moving. They say. Those who moved from the other
states to California saw the opposite impact, with costs rising
a similar amount. So they conclude pretty much anywhere else
is more affordable than California. That's a direct quote from

(27:13):
the author of the report. Pretty Much anywhere else is
more affordable than California. Get this eye popping stat Renters
who moved out of California saved about thirty percent on rent,
and homeowners saved nearly fifty percent on their mortgages. As
a result, people who leave where they are more likely
to become homeowners somewhere else, they concluded, I mean, this

(27:33):
is directly from the study. We find the Californians who
left the state were much more likely to own a
home a few years later. That likelihood grows over time,
such as that seven years after leaving California, movers were
forty eight percent more likely to be a homeowner than
those who stayed in the state, even after controlling for
age holy col The study found that lower income Californians

(27:56):
who fled are doing decidedly better in the Red States.
Certainly the financial and the quality of life gains that
they're seeing grow exponentially over time, of course they do.
I mean, if you're living for five years, then ten years, etc.
Under more favorable financial conditions, your income, your savings, your
quality of life are going to improve decidedly over time.
And so it's not surprising that lower income Californians heading

(28:19):
for other states are doing decidedly better. But the Berkeley
study also finds that it was actually people who were
well off who led the mass outward migration from California.
This is another way to prove that we conservatives are
correct and the leftists are just lying to you. It's
the so called rich people or the people of means,
the upper income Americans who have the most to lose

(28:40):
if you keep taxing them and taxing them and taxing
them and penning them in with more bad policy. It's
those people who have the means to migrate, isn't it.
This Berkeley study confirms what we on the right have
been saying forever when it comes to today's Democrats always
wanting to tax the rich, tax the rich. All you're
doing with every tax site is driving more and more

(29:02):
productive residents out of your community or your state period
higher and higher taxes and attempting to quote target the
rich only ends up driving more and more of them
out of your cities and states, leaving what leaving you
with a higher and higher percentage of the quote poor
people who need to rely on your overly generous blue
state welfare and social service programs. In a nutshell, high

(29:27):
taxation is a recipe for high poverty rates and a
never ending spiraling downward for your city or your state period.
That's the net effect. It's now proven over decades. Meanwhile,
the difference between the Democrat run states and the Republican
run states in this country has never been more stark
to me, if there used to be some minor differences

(29:48):
between the states when it came to your incommony state,
or taxation, or quality of life, what a house would cost,
maybe a loss of personal freedoms due to policies. If
there was sort of minor differences between the states when
it came to those things decades ago, this divide is
now a chasm. There are now huge, stark, significant differences

(30:11):
between the Blue states and the Red states in most instances,
and the desire to move to a more affordable state
with more individual freedoms and a better lifestyle, that's an
easy decision to make. Years ago, someone in Chicago or
New York would have hemmed and hawed about a move
to Miami or Dallas. Right, the taxes are a little
lower in Miami, but we really love Chicago. Now, hell,

(30:35):
now pack the van and we'll send for the rest.
Let's get the hell out of this lefty nightmare. So
we know that there's been an overall US migration into
the Red States as people flee the Blue states, Right,
This is a trend that's been going on for at
least a decade now, but a new deep dive study
of these migration patterns has found that about five and

(30:55):
a half million Americans have moved into pro Trump red
counties from bluecout He's just since twenty twenty when to emphasize,
this is the figure for only the last five years.
This isn't going back ten years, or the number would
have been even higher. But the independent news organization Issues
and Insights commissioned to study using the latest census data,
and they found this overall migration, this slow abandonment of

(31:17):
the high tax, low freedom parts of the country is
also occurring on a county to county basis. Understand this
is an important distinction. We aren't just seeing people abandoning
blue states for red states. That's been happening for years
and we have been tracking it with the census data.
This study shows that there are millions of Americans who
might not want a major disruption in their lives or

(31:38):
want to move to a different state to get away
from the Democrats, but by God, they can move to
a neighboring red county. Understand I'm using it. Wisconsin example,
This isn't moving from Wisconsin to Florida, which is what
a good number of Wisconsinites have done. But this is
moving out of Milwaukee County and into Washington County to
at least get away from the insufferably high crime and

(31:58):
property taxes and beercratic mismanagement of Milwaukee. This is what
the New Issues and Insights study is measuring. They found
that just over the last five years, five point four
million Americans moved from lefty run counties to pro Trump counties. Remember,
the last three national maps on election nights were virtually
all red too. Only the coastal states and the big

(32:18):
cities were showing up blue. We have to remember that
in twenty twenty and in twenty twenty four, Trump and
the Republicans won nearly three thousand counties across the country
and Hillary and Cammy only won about four hundred and fifty.
Nearly all of America geographically is Republican. So to have
five point four million Americans move out of those four
hundred and fifty Democrat led counties and into a red

(32:41):
county is all the more remarkable to me. This represents
millions of Americans literally abandoning the Democrat Party, its high taxes,
its socialist policies, using their feet, it's millions of families
deciding let's get out of here I don't want to
live under these conditions anymore. We can at least hop
the county line to help shatter this myth that the
bulk of the American people are with the Democrats and

(33:04):
their agenda and they hate Trump. Oh do they hate
Trump and the evil Republicans. America just hates these sobs
and we want to shove them out of office in
favor of enlightened, superior Democrats. But every demographic trend has
the American people migrating more and more toward red states
and red counties. I mean, if the Democrats and their
agenda were so popular, we'd be seeing a mass migration

(33:26):
moving the other way from red states to counties and
counties into blue states and counties. Correct. So an interesting
sidebar to this study is that it helps shatter that
everyone hates Trump and the evil GOP myth that the
left wing activists and their accomplices in the media are
so invested in. But this study of the census data
found that in just two years, using just two years

(33:46):
of data between twenty twenty and twenty twenty two, after
Biden took office, two point six million Americans abandoned their
blue counties and moved into red counties during those two years.
The exodus has continued since. They say that during Biden's
four year tenure, nearly four million people abandoned blue counties
for red counties. The more exact figure is three point

(34:07):
seven million. Imagine, in just four years, the Biden administration,
in today's increasingly socialistic and bullying Democrat Party, drove three
point seven million Americans to seek residency in a lower tax,
higher freedom red county. And that's in addition to the
tens of millions of Americans who abandoned their blue state
entirely and moved to a red state. That's a different

(34:28):
stat altogether. So tell me how much Americans hate and
reject Trump and the modern GOP's agenda. Come on. This
study found that of the ten counties with the biggest
population gains over the last five years, only one was
a deep blue county. Nine of the ten counties that
saw the biggest influx of residents were pro Trump red counties.

(34:49):
And the pattern holds no matter how far down you
go in that migration list. For example, if you look
at the top fifty counties with the biggest population gains
over the last five years, at five are pro Trump
read counties, only five are Blue counties out of fifty.
I mean, that's remarkable. If erases any claim that this
is a mixed bag of migration, it is decidedly not.

(35:12):
The American people are moving one way, and it's not
toward the Democrats and higher taxes and woke schools and
fewer freedoms, is it. This becomes even more evident as
you look at the blue states that are losing chunks
of their residents to red states like California, New Jersey,
New York, et cetera. For example, we know California has
lost about two million people to this migration over the

(35:32):
last five years, but within the state itself, the few
counties that consistently vote Republican have gained population, Meaning these
are fed up Californians who didn't want to leave the state,
But my god, can we at least move across the
county line and live in a Republican controlled county. The
state of New Jersey is another interesting situation. It only

(35:54):
has seven solidly pro Trump counties. New Jersey has seven
solidly pro Trump counties. The rest are of the state
is Blue folks, though seven red counties have gained nearly
twenty five thousand residents over the last five years, as
the blue counties in New Jersey have lost more than
two hundred and fourteen thousand residents. Put another way, as
two hundred and fourteen thousand people abandoned New Jersey altogether

(36:16):
for a red state, another twenty five thousand moved across
the county line to at the very least get away
from the Democrats running their community. And this is really
good stuff, these findings. We keep hearing how unpopular Trump
and the Republican policy are bowl PLoP. We can see
by their own actions what the American people really think.

(36:37):
This reminds me of something that Jamie Diamond said in
an interview recently. He's the CEO of the world's largest bank.
If you don't know, JP Morgan Chase. He talked about
why people are fleeing the Blue states recently on Fox
and he said, it's quality of life. It's your subways,
it's your hospitals. But it's also individual taxes, state taxes,
corporate taxes, and it drives people out. He compared the

(36:58):
Blue states and the red state. It's saying, all you
have to do is look at California versus Nevada, and
New York versus Florida. He said, there's a huge exodus
taking place. It is not good for a city. And
he said, people just make a mistake. Oh, just tax
these people. That's the outcome, he said. And every and
very often people think they're being moral by doing that,
but they're not. What they're doing is they're hurting your

(37:20):
own city. Yeah, Diamond has that right. And at this point,
these simple truths are so evident that even the editors
at the LA Times can see it and will admit
to it. This is the Los Angeles Times recently saying, gee,
let's cut the nonsense. This claim that people don't move
based on their tax burden is boloney. Of course, they
do quote it's not a coincidence that some of our

(37:43):
largest blue cities also have some of the highest income
and rental prices. So does fleeing these cities really benefit
the people who move to red states? They cite a
new paper by UC Berkeley's California Policy Lab, and they
say the answer to this question is, yes, let's stop there,
Holy cal let's stop there. This is a study out
of the uber lefty UC Berkeley, and they found that, yes,

(38:06):
moving to a lower taxed red state is benefiting the
people who are doing it. Wow. I just have to
marvel at this for a moment. This is the UC
Berkeley study, so critics can't say this is right wing propaganda.
This study found quote for people of limited incomes who
moved out of the Golden State, taking part in the
California exodus can bring dramatically improve financial conditions. The researcher

(38:29):
study the finances of people who left California over the
last decade to see how well they did in their
new communities. They generally left for nearby states such as
Nevada and Arizona, but also for hot locales such as
Texas and Florida. Before leaving California, those who left paid
on average two three hundred and seventy six dollars in
monthly housing costs. After relocating to another state, former Californian

(38:50):
spent just oney seven hundred and five dollars per month,
which was a drop of six hundred and seventy one
dollars per month That was their savings per month just
by moving. They say. Those who move from the other
states to California saw the opposite impact, with costs rising
a similar amount. So they conclude pretty much anywhere else
is more affordable than California. That's a direct quote from

(39:10):
the author of the report. Pretty much anywhere else is
more affordable than California. Get this eye popping stat Renters
who moved out of California saved about thirty percent on rent,
and homeowners saved nearly fifty percent on their mortgages. As
a result, people who leave where they are more likely
to become homeowners somewhere else, they concluded, I mean this

(39:30):
is directly from the study. We find the Californians who
left the state were much more likely to own a
home a few years later. That likelihood grows over time,
such as that seven years after leaving California, movers were
forty eight percent more likely to be a homeowner than
those who stayed in the state, even after controlling for age.
Holy cow. The study found that lower income Californians who

(39:53):
fled are doing decidedly better in the Red States. Certainly
the financial and the quality of life gains that they're

And so it's not surprising that lower income Californians heading

for other states are doing decidedly better. But the Berkeley

well off who led the mass outward migration from California.
