Denim Day started when a woman was sexually assaulted by her driving instructor, but it was ruled consensual because she had to help him take her tight jeans off. Now, people all over are wearing jeans in solidarity for those affected by sexual violence on April 24th. Dawn Helmrich has spoken out here in Milwaukee to raise awareness, and she told her story & why she now wants to help others this week on Women Crushing It Wednesday.
