You can find health improvements if you get away from the standard American diet.As a nation, we are overfed and undernourished. We need to rebuild our bodies after eating "tasty" food that doesn't have enough nutritional value.The American diet is high in unhealthy fats and animal fats and full of processed foods, pesticides, artificial flavors and colors. It's low in fiber, complex carbohydrates and plant-based foods. We've become accustomed to letting our palates run the show, eating these foods because we are convinced they taste good.If you change your diet, have a quality probiotic, exercise, get plenty of sleep and drink enough water, your body will learn to accept the healthy foods again.
