Just because a food is organic doesn't mean it's free from pathogens.Organic food isn't free from bacteria and natural pesticides. In fact, it should be cleansed more diligently before consuming because of the pathogens used in fertilizer.That "flu" you're experiencing may be food poisoning. Those deli meats and soft cheeses in your refrigerator can grow listeria to a deadly level. Freezing doesn't kill bacteria.Hand sanitizer doesn't kill all bacteria, either. Hand washing is more effective.Many illnesses can be traced back to bacteria. Don't keep food between 40 and 140 degrees for more than two hours.
