the moments Saturday Morning Show. And here's what's trending on
this August eighth that We'll start with this. Kelly Clarkson's
ex husband, Brandon Blackstock, has died. He was forty eight
years old. He had battled cancer for the past three
years now. Kelly had just announced on Wednesday that Brandon
had been ill and she canceled her Las Vegas tour dates.

It was reported that he was fighting melanoma. Brandon Blackstock
dead at the age of forty eight.

There's a full slate of NFL preseason games taking place
this weekend. The Dolphins will be taking on the Bears
this Sunday at one o'clock. The regular season begins on Thursday,
September fourth.

No, it doesn't matter.

Sometimes i feel like I'm out of the loop. But
then there's this Mariah Carey must have been busy in
the recording studio and missed the headlines about Katy Perry
going into space. Carry was a guest on a BBC
radio show and she was asked if she would go
into space, like Katy Perry, would you first go into space?

You know, like Casey Perry did?

Did she go to space?

And finally, many people in winter Park, Florida are upset
about a half a million dollar statue of doctor Martin
Luther King Junior. It was installed with kind of a
giant head. Here is a winter Park resident and the
mayor talking about the statue, ed was too big, his
arm was too big.

It looked really, you know, like a caricature of doctor King.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And didn't that didn't really look anything like it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Maybe it just didn't come out the way everybody had
hoped it would. I hear what you're saying. I don't
know if there's anything we can do about it at
this point, because it was a very big investment.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Have you seen the photo. I'm trying to look for

I think People magazine has it.

Half a million dollars.

Yeah, only statues when they do these statues, especially at Florida,
right right, didn't we statue was right?

Well, this one's I don't think this one's right. Artist
claims he's getting great feedback you know about it.

Yeah, from his mom did good baby, that's great? Oh
