Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to the situation with Michael Brown on six
point thirty kow. Yes, it's taxpayer Relief Friday. And we
know that Michael is physically here, but is he really
ever mentally here?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, question answered.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Have a great Friday.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Caution, you are about to experience the taxpayer relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution, you are
about to experience the taxpayer relief shot segment on the
situation with Michael Brown. We do not necessarily relish the
death of any criminal, but we do celebrate our god
given and constitutional right to self defense in the event

(00:39):
that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers spared the cost
of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and continued parole supervision.
As the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County, Florida says insert
audio here, or Sheriff Grady of Pope County says insert
audio here.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
You have been.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Warned listen at your own risks.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Mike, can I just go back to the talk back
for a moment? Can I ever really hear?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
No, he said that question was answered. He you know,
as soon as he posed the question, he knew the answer.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
He knew the answer. Okay, I was really concerned for
a moment that he thought one that I might actually
be here, and two that I might actually care give
a rat's ass, because clearly I don't, which is why
they listen.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
We all know that you're done at nine o'clock because
you can just sit there and play something and then
three minutes later come back and go.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
That's a pretty dang good taxpayer release.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Good good tax payer relief shops.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Don't point your gun at the cops. Yeah, yeah, that's
pretty much what you do.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, which is a thousand more percent more than what
you do.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
True.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Okay, all right, we call him taxpayer release shots.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Why somebody's breaking in your house, you're more than welcome
to shoot him in centaoise accounting. We prefer that you
do actually, hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money.

Speaker 7 (01:59):
Or I would highly suggest that if a looter breaks
into your home, comes into your home while you're there
to steal stuff, that you take your gun and you
shoot him. You shoot him so that he looks like
grated cheese, because you know what, that's one leader that
won't break into anyone else's home.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
And of course, my all time favorite is this one.

Speaker 8 (02:21):
I would tell them, if you value your life, you
probably shouldn't do that in.

Speaker 7 (02:24):
Polk County because the people of Polk County like guns.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
They have guns.

Speaker 7 (02:28):
I encourage them to own guns, and they're going to
be in their homes.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Tonight with their guns loaded.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
And if you try to break into their homes to.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Steal to set fires, I'm.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
Highly recommending they blow you back out of the house
with their guns.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
So leave the community alone. Now, we do these because
one we believe in a god given right of self defense.
We don't think that these stories get enough coverage. They're
usually just local stories and that's as far as it gets.
Everybody thinks that it's just the wild West out there
and that you can't defend yourself. You can defend yourself.

(03:01):
But we also play them because there are stupid people.
I know, I know you think you know this, but
you don't really there are stupid people among you.

Speaker 9 (03:15):
For example, his sister Rochelle acknowledged his actions but criticized
the employee's response, stating, yes, he was robbing them, but
that clerk shouldn't have shot him.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
They should have called the police. So the next time
you're being mugged or robbed, just say time out, give
them the old like tell you know, like a referee
timeout signal, and then reach for your phone. Don't tell
you no, you're not calling the cops. You're calling you know, counselors.
You want to get a counselor there any Christmas.

Speaker 10 (03:48):
You could use a taser, you could use your other
handgun if the guy is still coming at you to
get your weapon. That is uh, you know, understandable. Ah damn,
he just shot his dude. They just shot that dude.
H judge, judge.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Sheriff Grady also says that sometimes, and this is true
oftentimes when the tax play review shots involved coup sometimes
he asked to be shot.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
He demanded to be shot, and then he forced us
to shoot him, so we obliged him.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
So we obliged him. Well, if you don't want to
get a shot, then guess what.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
Don't attack my deputies. Don't try to stab or shoot
my deputies because if you do, we're gonna shoot you
a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
We're gonna shoot you a lot. And really, just stop
breaking into homes.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
If someone breaks in, and that's the possibility that they're
gonna accept this.

Speaker 11 (04:54):
Somebody gonna be shooting him, so I wishes not to
break into homes.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
And then the public, and then there's the public service announcement.
Hi everyone.

Speaker 11 (05:07):
Recently, lady called nine one one here in Penell County
because someone was breaking into her house.

Speaker 12 (05:12):
There's some guy.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
He came to my door, but he went into my
neighbor's house.

Speaker 11 (05:17):
This dispatcher gave excellent advice. I'd like you to take
a moment and listen to it. He came into my garage.

Speaker 12 (05:22):
He's trying to get my back door.

Speaker 13 (05:23):
Okay, lock your doors, keep them all locked.

Speaker 12 (05:25):
Do you have a firearm with you?

Speaker 14 (05:27):
I do.

Speaker 15 (05:28):
He's in my garage.

Speaker 11 (05:29):
He's trying to get in.

Speaker 15 (05:30):
Go get that firearm.

Speaker 16 (05:31):
I haven't gun.

Speaker 15 (05:32):
If here you leah, he's in the garage.

Speaker 11 (05:37):
While the incident was still going on, sergeant was monitoring
the radio traffic, and this is his direction that he gave.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
If RP.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
If the subject's trying to get in the house, out
of the right, use force.

Speaker 11 (05:48):
I couldn't be more in agreement with what the direction
of my dispatcher gave and what the sergeant.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Gave over the radio.

Speaker 11 (05:54):
Remember, if you want personal protection, buy a gun, learn
how to use it learn when you can use it.
I'm sure for step On and I approve of this message.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I approve that message too.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
And we do these not to celebrate the death of
the thug most of the time. But there are a
couple that if we've got time, that we'll get to today.
This seriously are about one and a half maybe two? Okay,
we would there is some celebration at hand. Are Oh,
I see the word celebrating one. Okay, Well, let's start

(06:23):
with the award winners.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Uh. The first one involves a homeowner. Let me just
say before I even listen to it, Dang, that was
a really good text player. Relie shot right there.

Speaker 17 (06:37):
The person was killed while trying to invade a home
and being yesterday, Ponatak County Sheriff Arnold Scott says someone
entered two homes on County Road thirty five sixty around
two thirty on Saturday morning. When I entered the second house,
the homeowner shot and killed the intruder. Sheriff Scott says
the scene was turned over to Chickasaw Lighthorse Police since
the intruder was native, and they are continuing to investigate.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Hey, yes, Thatt down in my old home territory at
in my home state Pana Tac Cally, Pana tak CALLI
say that three times. Another homeowner.

Speaker 18 (07:09):
Phoenix police say that around seven forty five on Sunday morning,
a man tried to rob that home that you see
right behind that mobile command center, but the homeowner ended
up shooting and killing that robbery suspect. Neighbors tell me
they heard bangs around that time this morning and are
now concerned about the safety in this area.

Speaker 15 (07:27):
And when I saw in the news of this happened
this morning, as we were walking over here, I just
said to my daughter, I said, you know what, I
need to put ammunition in my gun.

Speaker 18 (07:35):
Not wanting to go on camera for her safety and privacy.
One neighbor told us her home was burglarized a block
away in twenty twenty, convincing her to buy a gun,
but she never loaded it.

Speaker 15 (07:47):
I don't really want to have a gun, but ever
since the light rails come on, I've been robbed. Other
people in this neighborhood have been robbed. And this is
a wonderful family centered very close neighbors.

Speaker 18 (08:00):
Neighborhood police say when they got here after getting that
burglary call Sunday morning. Officers found the suspect dead at
the scene. The person living in the home the reported shooter.

Speaker 15 (08:10):
I'm glad that the owner of the house is okay,
and and then it didn't turn the other way.

Speaker 18 (08:16):
Phoenix PD says they will be launching a full investigation
into what happened and the homeowner is being fully cooperative
in Phoenix. Out of mincer ABC fifteen, Arizona.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
What do you think of that one? Dragon? Was that one? Okay?

Speaker 2 (08:28):
That was a pretty dang good text by Leisha right there, Thank.

Speaker 19 (08:30):
You, sir.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Let's see thug dies well, thug dies.

Speaker 20 (08:37):
Brighton police tell us a suspect was killed in a
crash while trying to get away from police. Take a
look at this drone video captured by a viewer. You
can see how far this scene stretched on Old US
twenty three and the trail of debris littering the road.
The crash shut down Old US twenty three near Spencer
in Brighton Township for most of the night. Brighton Police

(08:58):
say around ten forty five last night, officers tried to
stop the driver of a black Dodge Charger for driving recklessly.
Police said the suspect led them in a chase down
Grand River, which finally ended on Old US twenty three.
Investigators tell us the suspect drove in the wrong lane
and sideswiped a car, causing it to spin. The suspect's
Dodge charger then hit another car and rolled over, killing

(09:21):
the suspect. Police say one of the other drivers involved
ended up with minor injuries. Investigators are trying to find
out if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Oh, I can't imagine that would be true. A female shooter.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
We're nervous.

Speaker 21 (09:40):
We're nervous.

Speaker 19 (09:41):
Neighbors in Skyway are still grappling with what happened on
their block overnight.

Speaker 21 (09:46):
He shouldn't have been there, He shouldn't have been there.

Speaker 19 (09:48):
Around two o'clock Monday morning, a woman called nine one
one saying she shot a man who was trying to
get into her home. When deputies arrived, they found the
man with a gunshot wound in the drive word. He
was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Speaker 21 (10:03):
A life is a life, and it hurts anytime a
life is taken. But I mean, if you are intruding
in someone's personal space, then you have come and what
is coming to you? So, I mean, I'm glad she
was able to protect herself.

Speaker 19 (10:20):
So what are the laws in the state when it
comes to using force against an intruder. Use of force
is lawful if someone is about to be injured or
to prevent malicious trespass. Homicide is also justifiable when the
intruder was going to commit a felony or do some
great personal injury to someone.

Speaker 21 (10:38):
She was well within our rights, well within our rights,
and I would do the same.

Speaker 19 (10:43):
King five did see someone being handcuffed and put into
a squad car of the scene.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
It's unclear if that.

Speaker 19 (10:49):
Was the woman who called nine one one.

Speaker 21 (10:51):
I'm waiting to hear. Like everyone else, I'll be tuned in,
ready for the news. So I really do want to
know what actually happened.

Speaker 19 (10:59):
And he's still an ongoing investigation and deputies say there
is no danger to the public reporting in Skywait Bratty Waukielma,
King five.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
News, what'd you think of that one? Dragon?

Speaker 5 (11:10):
It was an okay talking text, very shame not a
pretty dang good one, but it was a good one.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Yeah, Now I'm going to go to the one where
the attacker uh, I don't know, it just says the
attacker returns to the scene.

Speaker 22 (11:29):
Police shot and killed a man on Long Island today
who stabbed someone in the neck and then tried to
attack them a second time. That's stabbing occurred about eight
thirty in the morning behind a cluster of stores on
Middle Country Road.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
And Center Reach.

Speaker 22 (11:41):
Officers raced to the scene and found the victim on
the ground bleeding. They were giving him aid when the
attacker suddenly appeared again and acted aggressively on some.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Of these thugs really are stupid. They're really stupid.

Speaker 22 (11:58):
The officers then opened five.

Speaker 23 (12:00):
The man emerged from the wooded area holding an approximately
ten to twelve inch knife. He yells, he approaches the victim,
who is being treated, and attempts to stab him again.

Speaker 22 (12:13):
Police identify the man they killed as twenty nine year
old Emil's son Joan oredoniees Vanegas. Investigators say he was homeless.
Doctors expect the forty four year old stabbing victim to survive.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Stupid, stupid, stupid, All right, now, let's see we're getting closed,
but we'll do a barricaded when next a barricade breaking news.

Speaker 24 (12:37):
One person is dead after an officer involves shooting.

Speaker 17 (12:39):
Listen Munjo's is live near Kia Nirtenno and golf course
with the latest info from APD.

Speaker 13 (12:46):
Hey, Shelley Doug that's right, lots of police presidents still
here tonight now. We are near Lewisburg Drive and Wellsburg Avenue.
We did just get an update from Chief Harold Medina
and he says around for today. Officers came to one
of the houses behind me after someone called saying a
man was either threatening to take his own life or
has taken pills, and are also told this was a

(13:06):
domestic fight, possibly between the man and his wife. APD
says the man was armed in the backyard and after
an hour or so of trying to talk with him,
things escalated.

Speaker 25 (13:17):
The first volley of shots is fired and it appears
the male subject had gone back into the home, had
barricaded himself in the second floor room, and was firing
out of a window. We do have a police car
that during this timeframe of the shots being fired, received
several impacts from the individuals shooting at him. We are

(13:41):
very fortunate and looky that none of our officers were killed.

Speaker 13 (13:45):
Now, the chief says after that they did see the
man appear in the garage on the floor. They're still
trying to investigate whether he took his own life. Now
they do know that he had little to no criminal
history and no officers were hurt during this. But we
do know Molti officers had been put on leave while
this investigation continues, and they do tell us that this
area will be blocked off for the rest of the night.

(14:07):
Recording an Albuquerque on Melissa Munios, can we te action seven.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Ows Albuquerque, I'm shocked. Okay, you be the judge on
this one.

Speaker 26 (14:17):
A shocking twist to a deadly police shooting in the
South Bay this afternoon, investigators revealing the suspect killed his
own child before alluring police to the scene of the
crime a Santase Park.

Speaker 27 (14:30):
These officers had no idea that the frantic person on
the line was in fact the suspect himself, a deranged
man who had murdered his own son.

Speaker 26 (14:39):
Good evening, I'm clotting. WHOA Now, this all began yesterday afternoon.
That's when police were called out to an area of
Caltaldi Park and that is where they saw a man
armed with a knife who they say stood up and
ran toward them. Police opened fire, killing him. But in
the past couple of hours we've learned disturbing new details
about that incident. Our craving fort Henry Lee live at

(15:01):
the San Jose Police Department tonight after hearing from the
Chief Henry.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Well Clauding.

Speaker 28 (15:07):
Police say this suspect actually called nine to one one himself,
claiming that someone else had stabbed his nine.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Year old son.

Speaker 28 (15:13):
He actually gave dispatch a description of the attacker that
matched what he was wearing.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
The chief says officers went to the.

Speaker 28 (15:19):
Park intending to save a life nod take one.

Speaker 27 (15:23):
The child suffered from injuries so severe that it's unimaginable
they could have been inflicted by his own father.

Speaker 28 (15:29):
San Jose Police Chief Paul Joseph says officers shot and
killed a man who had fatally stabbed his own nine
year old son, calling ninety one one and claiming someone
else was responsible.

Speaker 27 (15:39):
A deranged man who had murdered his own son and
whose call for help was actually a twisted plan to
force officers to shoot him.

Speaker 28 (15:46):
The suspect, forty eight year old mattuse Zerbon Fremont, died
at a hospital. He had no known local criminal or
mental health history. It happened at about three twenty Sunday
afternoon at Cataldi Park, in a field near the pickleball
courts off Bethany Avenue. Officers found the suspect covered in
blood and hunched over his son. The child was dead,
but officers didn't know that at the time. Police tried

(16:08):
to reason with the suspect, but to no avail. At
one point, the chief says, the suspect suddenly stood up,
raised the knife at officers and charged at them. One
officer fire or taser, while another officer and a sergeant
opened fire, killing the suspect.

Speaker 27 (16:20):
Suicide by cop is a cowardly act, one that draws
officers into the suspects disturbed nightmare, leaving them to carry
the burden of that moment for the rest of their lives.

Speaker 29 (16:30):
Very concerning that I saw two people lose their life,
though I felt like only one life should have been.

Speaker 28 (16:35):
To James Testa says he saw the confrontation.

Speaker 30 (16:38):
He got up and like threw a knife at the police.
Right when he got up and threw a knife, all
police opened fired.

Speaker 28 (16:45):
Neighbors say they're stunned by the violence in broad daylight
in a park like Cataldi.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
How can we late our kids go? I said, right
here and watch my kids play here.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
This is just nonsense.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
I cannot let my kids go play on the on.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
I'm really sorry.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Somebody got stepped in.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
And then another one.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 28 (17:03):
This shooting happened a week after San Jose police shot
and killed a different suspect a week earlier after he
twice fired at officers. Both incidents are also under review
by the Santa Clara County DA's office. Live in San Jose,
Henry like KTV box two.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
D's very difficult. That's really some kind of sickness, isn't it.
There's something really wrong with that. And I think you
can celebrate that one.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
Kids and animals, oh and animals, kids and animals, and
then this one.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Now I don't have time to do it. What do
you want to talk about? Dragon? You were just watching
the clock to see if the alarm would go off.
Weren't you just watching this song?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Can I keep silent? Before?

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Michael said, I'm going to keep silent because I know
you will give in, because you'll be the one responsible
if the alarm goes off.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Under the utro break bed would come up. So it's
like all right, all right, all right, wait for it,
wait for that.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Tasslay relief shots continue.

Speaker 31 (18:12):
Hey, Michael, I've been trying to share your taxpayer relief
shots with a lot of my friends for quite a
while now, and surprisingly I'm not getting good feedback on it.
Don't know if maybe you could do something like put
some wacky sound effects in there for special ones or something.
I don't know, just a thought.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Uh, maybe your friends are offended by it, because I'm
not surprised at all that somebody would be offended by
what we're doing here. Uh, we call them taxpayer relief.

Speaker 6 (18:46):
Shots because somebody's breaking in your house here, more than
welcome to shoot them. In centais accounting, we prefer that
you do. Actually, hopefully you'll save taxpayers money.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Boom. You know that kind of quality sound effect will
do wonders for the program, I'm sure. Uh the next one,
I don't know why this is not marked as a celibate.
I don't know why this one. Yeah, you just have
to push forward. You can't just you can't allow him
to get the upper hand. You can't do it. So

(19:17):
I don't know why this one was not marked as
a celebratory taxpayer relief shot. Maybe there's something in it,
but based on the title, I would celebrate this.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
One five am.

Speaker 32 (19:29):
Right now, I'm breaking news coming on the air at
this moment.

Speaker 19 (19:32):
A domestic dispute ends in a deadly officer involved shooting.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
This is on Jacksonville's North side. We are glad you're
joining us this morning.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
I'm Lewis Turner, I'm Keith and Eloisa.

Speaker 13 (19:40):
The jacksu Scharfer's office tells us a man was attacking
a pregnant woman who was holding a baby at the time.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Or Zach Wilcox, He joins us, not.

Speaker 13 (19:47):
Live from that scene in the neighborhood just off New
Berlin Road.

Speaker 22 (19:51):
Zach, we want to get right out to use.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Officers actually tried to tase.

Speaker 26 (19:54):
The man several times before actually shooting him.

Speaker 14 (20:00):
Becky, the multiple rounds of tasing, trying to get him
to get restrained, and it was unsuccessful. I wanted to
show you a little bit of the scene that's behind
me here. We just saw the mobile command center get
out of here, but we just did see some crime
scene units back up in here for this scene, so
they're still out here investigating at this point. What we
do know is that police were called out here. When
they got to the house, they found a lot of

(20:20):
commotion going on the back of the house. They busted
down a door to a back bedroom and found that
man who was attacking a woman, pulling her hair while
she was clutching a baby. So they tased him. Then
that was enough to break up that interaction there, and
they were able to get her out of the room,
and then they tried to calm him down a little bit.
Took about a half an hour, and ultimately they wound
up having to tase him again. He attacked a couple

(20:40):
of officers, knocked them back, and that's when they opened
fire and shot at him. And I asked the sheriff
a little bit about to describe what it was like
that his officers.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Were up against.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
He stood there like this when they tased him again,
and when.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
It was over, he fought through it, removed the prongs
and took off an attext and that's where it ended.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Wart. He never wanted to end like that.

Speaker 14 (21:06):
And they mentioned that the man was really large, so
it's hard to take him down, hard to restrain him.
And they did say that he was talking throughout it,
but they couldn't really make sense of what he was saying,
and he was actually chewing on the woman's hair, had
that he had pulled out of her head. And we
just got an update that the woman has minor injuries
as well as two officers who had minor injuries here
and they were able to be treated on the scene
on the north side. Zach Wilcox first Gus News on

(21:27):
your side.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Yeah, what they don't tell you is, well, they tried
to put it in the euphemism he was large, he
was fat.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
He was fat and a freaking psycho and a cycle thought.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
So he's fat and a psycho. And then on top
of that, I think, have we ever had it? I
guess we wouldn't have a tax player relief shot though
where the taser worked. The tasers never work.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Yeah, not in a taxpayer releef shot.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yeah, they never work. So, you know, nice tribe, but
doesn't work. Domestic violence seems to be a constant theme
through these to.

Speaker 33 (22:06):
A developing story this in Philadelphia's Fairhill neighborhood, a shootout
with police officers ending with one man dead. Investigator say
officers came under fire when responding to a domestic violence
call along the twenty nine hundred block of Lawrence Street.
Police say the shooter ran out of that house and
then fired at officers.

Speaker 29 (22:26):
The mel then enters the driver's side of the police
vehicle closes the door.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
What we believe is maybe.

Speaker 29 (22:33):
About to try to take the police vehicle, at which
point in time he continues to fire at the officers
as they approached the vehicle.

Speaker 33 (22:40):
Police returned fire and hit the suspect several times.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
He did not survive. No officers were injured.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
There got it again domestic violence.

Speaker 20 (22:55):
An update tonight on a dead list shooting involving Greenfield police.

Speaker 24 (22:58):
It was just in the last hour that Indiana State
Police released several new details about the investigation. State police
detectives now tell us it's started as a domestics call.
Officers said fifty four year old Ted Feesel answered the
door when they arrived, but then quickly closed it. Officers
say they kept trying to talk to him, and when
they opened the door, they say they saw him standing

(23:19):
near it with a gun pointed at them.

Speaker 34 (23:21):
That's when three officers then shot at Fieso, who later died.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
No one else was hurt.

Speaker 24 (23:26):
The three officers now are on leave per protocol. Detectives
are reviewing the video from their body cams.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
You get a call for domestic violence, you know it's
more likely than not you're going to draw your weapon and.

Speaker 10 (23:40):
Stop it.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
At International taxpayer Relief shot.

Speaker 35 (23:46):
I says around a thirty Monday night, RCMP Surrey Provincial
Operations Support Unit responded to an assault at residence in
Clayton Heights. Offices located a man reportedly with the weapon
before shots were fired by police despite providing aid. Officials
say the man died at scene. Police then found a
deceased woman inside the home.

Speaker 12 (24:06):
The woman and the man were a couple in their
sixties and they resided together at the residence. I cannot
also confirm that police were responding to an incident that
is believed to be stemming from Internet partner funds.

Speaker 35 (24:23):
The Independent Investigations Office of BC was notified the same
day and is now investigating into the men's death. The
woman's death is also being investigated by Eye Hit. Neighbors
were shocked to see heavy police presence since last night.

Speaker 30 (24:38):
I never heard of anything like that in the neighborhood
for sure, very very quiet neighborhood and things like that,
So nothing with this kind of police presence.

Speaker 15 (24:47):
To come inside, and.

Speaker 30 (24:54):
Yeah, my kids were a little bit freaked out a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
So it is a little scary today.

Speaker 36 (25:00):
It's an unfortunate story, quite easy because it's happened so
close to home, and I feel for the family. No
one's life should ever be taken because it is a
great neighborhood, a lot of a lot of families here.
So hopefully we can all come together and just work
through this because it is such a horrible incident that happens.

Speaker 35 (25:23):
I had says this was an isolated incident involving the
deceased woman and the alert suspect who was shot by police.
This is the second high profile case of deadly intimate
partner violence in less than a week. On Monday, the
family of a woman killed in Kelowna. BC called for
more to be done to address domestic foulence in the province.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact them. Thank

(25:47):
you all, CBC News, Surrey, Oh, So.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Canada's got domestic violence and gun problems too. Him brings
a knife to a gunfight.

Speaker 16 (26:02):
I'm working with from home today, and though working from
home might mean the occasional distraction, Jasmine Fernandez wasn't expecting this.

Speaker 9 (26:15):
It should me.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I was like, did you hear that?

Speaker 30 (26:17):
That was four gun shots coming from the street behind
her house where police officers shot and killed a man.

Speaker 28 (26:23):
Well Hee Fowly courted and said, hey, look, drop the knife.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Drop the knife.

Speaker 30 (26:26):
Michael Turner had a clear view of it all there.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
They're a patient.

Speaker 28 (26:29):
They were trying their best not to shoot this guy.
They were trying their best to get the just him
to drop the weapon.

Speaker 30 (26:34):
The weapon was a knife that both Michael and police
say he was using to not only threaten others, but
also on himself.

Speaker 11 (26:42):
He had a knife to his neck as he was
kicking the door.

Speaker 28 (26:46):
There's brought on the porch because that's where he's cut.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
He literally stabbed.

Speaker 11 (26:49):
This comes to our door and starts.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
To try and kick it in.

Speaker 30 (26:51):
A neighbor across the street did not want to be
on camera, but told us that the man was a
friend staying with him but dealing with issues that may
have led to a breakdown, and after police say they
used several less than lethal means to stop him, they
finally were left no other options.

Speaker 25 (27:08):
The man advanced towards the officers.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
At that time he was shot.

Speaker 30 (27:12):
Despite getting him first aid on the scene. Police said
the man died at the hospital. The DA's office and
the Police Oversight Committee will do their standard investigations to
make sure the officer's actions were justified.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
In Dallas, I'm Crusade.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
All right again, domestic violence which is about to occur
right here in the studio.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Good afternoon, I'm Keenan Smith. Thank you so much for
joining us today.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
At noon, we'll.

Speaker 27 (27:42):
Start with that shootout involving Warren Police seventies.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Detroit reporter Ryan Marshall has.

Speaker 33 (27:47):
The latest on what police say took place and the
conflicting stories from witnesses.

Speaker 37 (27:53):
Warn man is dead after he was involved in a
vehicle pursuit with Warren PD. You could see both Warren
Police and Detroit Police are still here on the scene.
They are steadily trying to clear this scene. WARRENPDE issued
a press release that says that pursuit started in Warn
and ended here near Castle in Montlout Street on Detroit's

(28:14):
eastside just after three am.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Early this morning, Warren Police.

Speaker 34 (28:17):
Confirmed that they fired shots at the man in his thirties.
They say he fired his gun at officers during the
vehicle chase and subsequent foot pursuit. In the surrounding neighborhood. However,
according to the press release, officers say they discovered the
man with a gunshot wound to his head, and it's
currently unclear if that wound was the result of police
gunfire or if it was self inflicted. Now, police say

(28:40):
the pursuit happened after they initially responded to a domestic
call at a home on Prospect Street in warm According
to police, the man's girlfriend said that he assaulted and
strangled her before trying to light part of their home
on fire. Now, we've talked to witnesses here at the
scene that sharply refute what are saying. Witnesses who were

(29:02):
present during the shooting say the man drove his christ
of three hundred and was actually trying to get to
his mother's house here on the corner. That's when they
say he stepped out of the car with his hands
up and warned police, according to them, opened fire.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Now, neighbors we.

Speaker 34 (29:16):
Talked to tell us that he didn't even own a gun,
and that it's meant that this man, who was effectually
known as Rocco, was a good person.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
He was a great guy.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
He changed his life blow he was doing he had
a very nice car.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
He just started working good. He was at church.

Speaker 7 (29:34):
He was good too.

Speaker 8 (29:35):
He just had a child, he was he was.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Changing his life.

Speaker 7 (29:39):
They cannot tell you that he had a gun.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
They cannot tell you that he was shooting at them.

Speaker 34 (29:45):
Now, this is still an active scene and an active
and ongoing investigation. Warren Police confirmed that no officers were
injured in this situation and that there's no further threat
to the public. However, neighbors dispute whether they're there was
even a threat at all. We're here on Detroit's East Side.
I'm Ryan Marshall for seven News Detroit.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Thank you, Ryan, Michael.

Speaker 27 (30:08):
Dragon's doing a fantastic job with the silly sound effects.
I highly recommend that he continue to do so on
a regular basis.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
They are really good.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
All right, I gotta get to work.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
This one is a non fatal taxplay relief shot.

Speaker 9 (30:27):
There at ten tonight, A man dressed like law enforcement
holds a man up at gunpoint. You know, see the
tactical vest and the mask. The victim says he repeatedly
identified himself as a cop until he was forced until
he forced him to the ground, but he didn't know
someone else was watching. Maybe see thirteen's Luke Jones is
Live with more of that video.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Look, you also got an interview with the victim.

Speaker 32 (30:49):
Yeah, the victim actually ended up shooting at the suspect.
We know at least one of those shots landed, Police
saying the suspect later turned up at the hospital. But
get this, and he haven't yet filed any charges against him,
and the victims convinced he had accomplices. Police telling us
this is all still under investigation. Abby Areas and his
wife in an arm confrontation with a suspected police impersonator

June fifteenth outside the liquor store they own and Guessner
in Harwich.

Speaker 28 (31:17):
He say, I'm on the police, pull him, get on
the floor, on the police, on the police.

Speaker 32 (31:23):
Ray's had just gone to take out the trash when
a red car pulls up, then a masked man.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
You know, if someone yelled at me, I am the police,
I am the police. I think that right there calls
me to question whether the police, because most competions're just
gonna yell please please not I am the police. I
think that was a dead giveaway.
