Speaker 1 (00:00):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Well, different night were the Baths and number one hit
music station Happy Wednesday. Oh it's all we're in the
JV Show. I'm Selina. I've jazz got your chance right
now with some crazy cash. You gramm me. What's this
hour's keyword?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Its hours nationwide keyword is pre set. Use that keyword
preset while you are streaming Wild ninety four nine on
the iHeartRadio app, which I hope you're doing right now.
Thank you. By the way, Bube, we'll have jobs until
twenty twenty seven. Maybe use that keyword preset there. Once
you've hit the contest tab, you'll find a spot to
enter it and you can win a thousand bucks in
crazy cash.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Good luck, Maat, you're just waking up at six am
and you win one thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Great way to start off.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
First talk back of the day.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Here we go, ay JV Show. I am listening to
today's podcast and I actually didn't realize how you guys
prepare for everyday show. I always wondered that, and come
to find out, you guys go home and continue to work.
That would honestly be the bane of my existence. Also,
I am almost done with my quote unquote maternity vacation,

(01:01):
which is so sad. I have almost three months old.
Any tips on how to get them to sleep through
the night, that would be great.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
All right, cook a couple things unpacked there. Yeah, surprised
to learn that US radio geeks actually work outside of
the studio. Yes, everything on the show is scripted down
to the very very second. And for example, laugh, I
even know exactly where hang on one more second that
that fart button was gonna get pushed. It's down to

(01:29):
the second. Things are like very very timed out, and
when things go off schedule it really pulls us off.
So we'd like to have everything down to the whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa whoa. That was two seconds too early. That was
two seconds. It's right there where it's supposed to go.
But yeah, we do a prep for the next day
show at home. People think it's like ten am.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
You're like, oh, yeah, the whole day free, you can
do whatever you.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Want exactly, It doesn't really work like that. Work is
still work. And then secondly, she said she's just about
to the end of her maternity vacation, as we coined
because Selena took so many of them on the show,
and she's wondering, which is tough. I mean, Selena, you
could speak to that. Coming back from my paternity vacation

(02:09):
wasn't as long as the Matturnity vacations, and you can
speak to that. Coming the transition coming back to work
the worst.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
You start like you have the worst work anxiety ever.
Take we take a few days off and we think
we forgot how to work when we come back. Imagine
being gone for months.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah, and what that does to you and the schedule
flip flopping, because your schedule when you're on your paternity
or Matturney vacation is centered solely around new baby, and
then then your new schedules centered around what your boss
wants you to do stuff at boss. She asked, if
you have any tips for how to get a three
month old to sleep? You got anything there?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
No, they just don't mine did? How did you make
them do that?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
I felt spoiled. My kids were very good sleepers from
an early age, but Mike, I mean we talked about
eight years ago. My son was such a good sleeper
that his head turned out flat on one side and
he had to wear a helmet for like six months
to try to round that thing back out. He was
too good of a sleep or he just you know,
funked out and just laid on the same side of
his head. His head is still I really I don't
know how to break it to him, But don't ever

(03:09):
shave your head, bro.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
No, that thing is it's still flat.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's flat as a dry erase board back there.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
So the little helmet didn't help.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I don't know. I mean, I guess you. There's no
way to tell, right what would have had to be
shaped like right now had we not done that. But
if a doctor, Tony, you slapped a helmet on there,
you do it. Yeah, and look it probably helped some.
And he wore that helmet, you, the little head shaping
helmet like you wear twenty four hours a day, slept
in and everything. He wore that.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
They were so cute.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Months and months and months he did that. But like
who really knows. But yeah, when whenever he goes to
get a haircut, I can and I'll be watching. I
can tell the hairstyles wherever's cutting his hair, like they
always feel back there for a second, like how am
I supposed to cut around this? You did not make
it not look weird. But yeah, don't that dude should
never shave his head.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Oh what's your advice, Selena to make a baby sleep? Yeah,
I said, they don't. You just kinda have to go
with it. Sorry, Like, well least of my kids, I
just kind of had to accept that I'm on their
schedule at least for now, and it's.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
It's constantly changing. That's the thing I learned right when
I've been like, my kids sleep all the way through
the night, and then you get through twos where they don't,
and then they start to get what they just go with?
What just do you just? What do you do with
your cat?

Speaker 5 (04:19):
So like an hour.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
Before bed, I was suggest just playing playing with your baby,
like for all out to tire them out.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
At Marshall's, they saw these really great toys. So it's
like a little.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
Stick and then it has a thing hanging down and
it'll have like a little kind of like bat it
back in front of the.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Baby and then sometimes even in circles, and it'll do
you really do that with your cat? Every night before bed,
I tried to sometimes.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
You won't you guys have not to wake me up
at like two thirty in the morning and then I'm like, oh, my.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
God, parents need advice.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Jess, Yeah, it has a cat that's at our cooler
not list.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Don't you feel like with Gelifa still lives like that,
like he it hasn't grown up like you. Yeah, that's
me too. Twenty six and a half.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
I do whatever I want, whatever I want unless my
wife tells me that, like when the kids has practice
or something from school.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
The Khalifa pose this question online for ladies.

Speaker 7 (05:20):
Ladies, I need to know something because I'm a little
bit older and I'm not out here like that because
the person that I'm with he loves me for who.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I am, and.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
Y'all want dudes to shave it or keep it real.
I don't know because I'm older now, like maybe having
like keeping it real is like old school, And maybe maybe.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
My woman just ain't telling me.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
I've asked her plenty of times.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
But I want to know by the way he was
in a tattoo shop that the buzzing sound was not
him getting shaved. It was he was getting a tatto
to at least I hope. But Jess, you want dude
to shave it or keep it real at least trim.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Oh then yeah, sure, why not shave it?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I more of a keep it realer not but I
think I thought that. I think Jess got the right answers.
Ill again, I thought that was an option.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
I said, shave it or keep saying.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
It got it? Well, then I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
What do you prefer your men?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Then I don't know. Yeah, this is a question for you, ladies.
I don't need to answer this. I'm saying I operate.
I'm more of a escaped yes, okay, yeah, more of
escaped attack plan there.

Speaker 2 (06:35):

in with Okay, how do you like it? All right,

Woo woo man, another beautiful day.

Speaker 6 (07:31):

nice day. Highs will be in the upper seventies tomato eighties.
They're going to be increasing little by little into the weekend.
But if you are going to outside lands, you still
have the bundle up.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Yeah, bring a scarf and mittons, a parkas and a beanie.
Hey leebra bests. Your day today is going to be

activated today? Be prepared for a bunch of annoyances, like
people cutting you in line, but you'll calmly and coolly
just smile so one bothered that it haunts them. The

(08:02):
universe rewards those who hold their ground with grace. Expect
something delightfully satisfying to follow shortly thereafter.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Do you think it's really going to haunt them?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
No, the person even looking back at you. I don't care,
all right?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Coming up next on the JV show, It's our Cool or.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Not list the JV Show. On Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Good Morning TV show, that said, he's say from the
how do you hope look you guys?

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Cool or not?

Speaker 9 (08:29):
Man?

Speaker 7 (08:29):
I looked on Amazon for the Spider Man coftume, and
of course extra large and large will come arrive tomorrow,
but all.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
The small, of the extra small of the mediums it
will take two weeks.

Speaker 7 (08:43):
I am so highly upset right now.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Anyway, guess what you guys. Super Troopers three comes out
this weekend. No regards super Troopers three, there was a two,
there was first one.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
The first one's a classic. I highly recommend that small
Well said, he said, is a he's a lean, he's
very spelt individual, and so yeah, I don't see him
shopping for the extra large Spider Man costume. Shame on
all the Spider Man costume manufacturers. Not cool on them.
You should have known that entire social media feeds were
just going to be overtaken by people dressing up like

(09:15):
Spider Man and running through theaters acting like fools. What
does that tell you about the average Spider Man fan.
They're skinny, little little side little guys, little guy, little
dinky ones. Everyone's been body shaming me lately.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Now you're taking it on on somebody else.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
I would need an extra large Spider Man costume.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Everybody it's because they get bullied at home. Yeah, this
is what we're saying. Right before.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
What I was going to say is I need an
extra large Spider Man costume on the top, extra small
for my legs. I don't think. I don't think they
make that.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Maybe on Etsy custom.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
What g I y Jess is a great diy?

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Are you taking orders?

Speaker 5 (09:56):
Not taking orders right now?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Sorry?

Speaker 3 (09:58):
What do you guys think cool enough? People still dressing
up like Spider Man to go see the Spider Man movie?
Has that passed or still do it?

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Well, people dress up for every movie, so it's kind
of the same thing.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
But like Opening Weekend, I get it, that's done, and
all the videos on social media like you're just gonna
be one of the ten thousand that have already done it.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
It seems a little I think if you're a kid,
go for it.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Yeah, that's I'm not telling you.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I think I'm going to go not cool just just
a little bit.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Did you hear that?

Speaker 2 (10:26):
A little bit? Not fully not cool, maybe just like
aw cool? Okay, really quick, what do you guys think
cool or not? Mal rama coming to Eastridge?

Speaker 5 (10:38):
I don't know what that is? Should I know what
that is?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
So east Ridge?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
They there are like event organizers that have organized an
overnight rave that is happening at the mall September fifth,
from nine o'clock at night to like two o'clock in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
And can I still shop at Bathroom body Works during
the rails?

Speaker 8 (10:58):
No.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
It says that the stores are going to be but
some like for like food and drinks, like some of those.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Are going to be open, so you can still get
a hot dog on a stick.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Yeah, I don't know. I have no clue.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
What's in the Eastern.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Okay, probably, I don't know. I don't know which ones
are gonna be so cool or not. A mall rave
and a mall rave. I guess I want to go cool.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
They're trying, you know, they're trying to get people in
the mall.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
They're gonna have like DJs and stuff. But it's not
like the mall to shop everything's gonna be shut down,
but they they're gonna bring it in DJs and like
going all out for this.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I'm here for it. I think that's cool.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Of course we're open, you know, to get a deal
or two.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Go into Forever twenty one. Okay, so you can go
into American Eagle. Are they still think American Eagle?

Speaker 5 (11:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Okay, Oh that's where Sydney Sweeney Seltzer jeans. Okay, so
you can pop in there get a new fit. Maybe Africa.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I wouldn't know what the alcohol situation is, hopefully, Like
are them all even allowed to sell that?

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Probably?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Right?

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Specially now that's a good you know, I don't know
if they have that license.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
Wait, so is this like a twenty one and oh
yeah you have to.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Be Yeah, it is a twenty one up event.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
What happens to all the regular mall shoppers that show
up there at eight am trying to get the best
deal at Abercrombie and Fitch?

Speaker 10 (12:17):
Is that night?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Is that still thing Abercrombie and Fitch?

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah? Is okay? So you're show up there to try
to get a deal and all these ravers are pouring
out of there, just all like sweaty, and you know
they've been dancing all night. Like, what's the cleanup situation
going to be between that and then when the mall
opens the next day.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That's a great question. I don't know, but they have
a month to figure it out because that's nasty.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
All right, Well get your tickets. Now, what's it called?
Malorama Malama here? I'm cool. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I think it sounds like a good idea, but is
I don't know. I think I hope they go all out.
I don't want to see it be half done. You're
going to have to at this point. Also, malls at
nighttime they're kind of creepy. That's true. It should be
like a haunt. They should do this in October for
like a haunted Halloween rave.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
But so is like the dusty shipyard warehouse that a
lot of raves around it, you know what I mean? Like,
I think this is a better, cleaner venyard with nicer bathrooms.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah, that's a good point where I'm going cool on
that one.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, it's.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Thirty for nine for the base number one Hit Music station,
that JV show. I'm Selena Groom and I'm trying to
have your Joe Cooit tickets on standby. Yeah, but really quick,
do you guys still.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Have CDs that you owned back in the day.

Speaker 11 (13:29):
No?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
None, I'm only twenty eight and a half twenty six.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
You never owned any your parents.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Maybe don't, don't.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Is this a safe space, this is a safe space.

Speaker 12 (13:38):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
I've got them all.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You know, all your CDs?

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Do every last one of them?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Another question?

Speaker 13 (13:43):
Then?

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Do you still play them anywhere?

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I don't, although you guys know, my car is a
two thousand and one Twitter four Runner and it does
have a CD player in it, oh my god, as
well as a you set player for those of you
that don't know what that is, don't worry about that.
And it does have a CD player. I don't ever
use it, but the other day I was like, I
think I should, probably because you guys didn't know. I
told you my antenna snapped off, right, I had a

(14:07):
plastic bag incident on Highway eighty and the antenna staff
clean off, and like, look, I like listening to the radio.
I listened to the sports radio, listen to stuff, you know,
and wild. It was just pure static. Yeah. Well I
couldn't even get well, I couldn't get this issue pure static.
So I'm like, I think I got to switch it
up and go CD. Go old school.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Well, don't get rid of that, good Graham.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
Whatever you do, do not get rid of your CDs
because they are making a comeback.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yes, could he sell them when people want them like
a Facebook marketplace?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Yeah you should.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
You should try it because people are going to five
below to buy CD players. They're not like your typical
like old school CD players that were like little and
round there. They kind of look like many record players,
but for a CD instead of a vinyl.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Cool weird, you're kidding those And then you have to
like hook it up to speakers or it's got a
built in speaker or something. How do you Okay? Yeah,
I was like, how does this whole contraption work?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
I don't have CDs, but I might have a box
of DVDs. I have that too that I've like moved
after like put them in a box and I moved
and then never unpacked them and then moved again. They're
still like in a box.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
But that's the same thing with my box of CDs.
I've just moved them. I feel weird like throwing them
in the garbage. You know, It's like I spent a
lot of money those at one point. I'm only twenty
and a half. Don't do the math. I have that
box and I have the box of DVDs. It just
seems weird to just throw them away. But also I
haven't opened those boxes in however many years. Well maybe
the CDs. I'm never gonna use the DVDs.

Speaker 6 (15:34):
But also, you know how vinyls they There are some
vinyls that are really old that go for a lot
of money nowadays. That could be the same thing that
happens with CDs eventually, So you want to hold onto them.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
Do you think you have any rare ones in there?
Maybe then yeah, hold on to it.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
I do have a couple of rare VHS tapes. Oh
my god, Okay, I don't. I don't look you guys.
My dad made a movie. We've talked to before.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
My dad.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Yeah, my dad made a horror movie. After he graduated college.
He's like, what do I want to do? I want
to make a movie, And he wrote and directed and
produced this like B horror movie. He did everything on it.
He's even a dead body in it. If you pause
the frame fast enough, you can catch him in there.
It's called Warlock Moon. You can buy it on DVD
now and probably even stream it places. I don't know,
that's so crazy. But back in the day, like they

(16:21):
came on a VHS, so like, I own this VHS
copy and I came somebody forwarded me this article one
time was like the top ten most valuable VHS tapes
out there, and that was one of them. It was
worth like six hundred bucks at the time. I don't
know if the value has since gone up or down
or whatever. This was years ago, but it was like
on some random list of the most expensive VHS and

(16:42):
I was like, I own that mint condition.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
You literally have the director at your hands.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, worst thing on a gold mine.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
I could have the original script and all this stuff.
And my dad some fan of the movie because there's
this cult following for it. There's a Facebook group about
it and stuff that are obsessed with movie now, and
they called my dad one time. They got to hold
him somehow, and my Dad's like, yeah, you can have
the original script. Yeah, you can have the original.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Gave it away.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
They just mailed it off to some fans.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Why didn't he keep doing this?

Speaker 5 (17:09):
You could have been an apple baby?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Can he make?

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Wasn't really into it? He just wasn't.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
But you could be selling them off to the side,
like you can give them to you and you're just
running a side business.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
I just don't think there's that big of a marketplace.
Shout out to Warlock and again we've talked about it.
I guess not anymore.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
It says you can watch it for free on two B.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
There you go, you watch it on tub. Guys, the
movie is not good. I mean, no offense to my dad.
I mean it's good for like a guy that made
his very first movie ever, you know what I mean? Like, yeah,
what had he continued? Yeah, he probably could have been
a great director, but he was just like, eh.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
When did he make Like what do you remember the year?

Speaker 3 (17:43):
He's in the seventies?

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Who wait?

Speaker 6 (17:45):
I love that we are not like using our free
will to the max. We could be making movies, we
could be making music, we could be making like so
many things.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
I'm just like, how did he do that with it?
Because like there wasn't computers and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
I'll say this, I'll say this about my dad, and
to that point, just like it is sort of an
inspirational thing because he's like the He's very much always
been the person that is like, I want to do something,
what are the steps that it's going to take to
get there. That's how I like try to think about
a lot of stuff. Is very pragmatic, like I want
to do this, And so growing up he'd be like,
you come and tell you know. I tell him like, hey,

(18:17):
I want to I want to be on the radio someday.
All right, well, what are the steps to make it happen?
And then he would just you got to call this person,
try this, reach out to this person. And his always
answer is what's the worst that somebody could tell you?
No big deal, just keep and then keep going and
keep grinding. Like he eventually went on to want to
be a contractor and build houses, and I was like, well,
how'd you learn to do that? And he said at

(18:38):
the station that he didn't manifest that. He was very pragmatic.
He would go look, he's a smart guy, but he
would go to construction sites where they were framing houses,
and he after hours and just walk around and look
and learn, teach himself how they framed stuff. Like, he
didn't have anybody teach him. He would go after the
job sites were closed and just walk around constructions and

(19:00):
figure and learn how to frame houses. And that's how
he learned. He just walked around to it. So you
want to achieve something, just go do it, right, I'll
call it. He's like, I want to make a movie,
and he raised money for it, wrote the script, directed it,
produced it, found investors, did the entire thing, got the cameras,
tracked down lead actors. Some of the people that movie
went on to do have actual legit acting careers and

(19:22):
are still on TV to this day. So like he
just like, you just got to go do it.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
I love that. That's how my husband is too.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah, I know, yeah, your husband's definitely Like.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
I think all of that, though, does go hand in
hand with manifestation. You guys can like laugh all you want,
but it really is just believing that you can do
something and knowing that like it is going to happen.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
No. I, So I know you're in your manifesting era
and I totally like agree with you, Like I that
is such a huge piece of this because if you
sit back and like No, I could never make a
movie like that's stupid. I can't do that. You'll never
do it. It starts with what you're saying that is
initially step one and then but then and then you
got to go take the steps.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
What do you want to do? Selena?

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Audit out there right now. I want a vacation.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
I wanted to push the bottom all the best boding
radio show, and I've done it on my coffee.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Do you I think I'm gonna get another cup of coffee?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Good Morning JV Show, Happy hump Day.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Okay, this is Diana and Santa Rosa and I'm calling
to wish my friend Paula and Santa Rosa a happy,
happy birthday. And I hope she has a fun day.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Okay, bye bye, nice happy birthdays?

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Is that Paula?

Speaker 14 (20:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Huh, all right, Paula, hope you have an incredible birthday.
Use a fun JV show Number one in Santa Rose.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Oh, because of you, Hoesta.

Speaker 14 (20:40):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
So Didny's prison release date has changed again. Just recap.
At first it was summer of twenty twenty eighth that
he was supposed to get out of prison, and then
it just kept getting moved up to April twenty two,
and then February, and then most recently January of twenty
twenty eight. And this is after he got into a
prison fight and was thrown into solitary confinement. We thought
that strange. Shouldn't he be punished for that kind of behavior. Well,

(21:11):
they just updated the prison date again, and maybe they realized, hey,
he got into a fight, we should be punishing him,
not letting him out earlier. So they pushed his release
date back back to February. Now it's February twentieth.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Okay, so one small way.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Baby baby steps here, baby step he changes in the date.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Did he don't really care? And then they'll probably move
it and they'll probably move it up again, I know
as his behavior gets better.

Speaker 15 (21:38):
I know.

Speaker 13 (21:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
By the way, the judge and Didy's case just signed
an order basically saying that everything that was confiscated in
the raids of his homes back in twenty twenty four
are now being forfeited to the feds. Did he had
thirty days to contest this once it was filed, and
he didn't. So all that cash, I think it was
like nine thousand dollars cash, and all that baby oil
and all those electronics now the property of the government,

(22:00):
so they can do whatever the heck they want with them.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
They're gonna have a white party, Appa, They're gonna have
some frea car, yeah, Lucky.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Really quick, we need to talk about why Perez Hilton
is trending. Please do not go search up this video. Okay,
it is very disturbing to see. And this is clearly
a man who is going through something. And uh, if
you don't know he I don't know how else to
put it other than he had a psychotic break yesterday
and he was on TikTok live and he was he

(22:34):
was harming himself and people on the live. Obviously, this
raised a bunch of red flags and they alerted authorities
and at first they weren't. Nobody was able to reach
pres And if you don't know, he's a really, really
big probably the biggest most famous blogger you know, and
he's been doing this for years. We've actually had him
on the show a couple of times. But yeah, but
so authorities were able to get his address and they

(22:57):
tried to reach him, and at first they couldn't he
was barricaded in side. They ended up getting in contact
with him. There was an ambulance spotted, you know, taking
a man with him to the hospital where he is
receiving care currently.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Super scary.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah, clearly I have not watched the video.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I've only read about it. I don't Yeah, I don't
think I can see that video. But yeah, friend of
the JV Show, and he's got I had no idea.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
He's got three kids, yeah, yes, three kids. I think
he also he also I think his mom lives at them,
So he's I mean, he's under a lot of stress
to just you know, care for everybody. It's really on him,
you know what I mean. So I can't even imagine,
but so heartbreaking to see him and like anybody else,
you know, have a break like this. Yeah, So like
I don't know if you see, I saw mean comments
and like, let's just not do that. No, let's not

(23:44):
do that. This is the guy who needs all the
positivity he can get. Yes, Graham, what are.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
You having for?

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Right? Debay Area Air District warning residents that the air
quality here might be deteriorating a little bit today as
smoke is drifting in from several different wildfires. Hopefully it's
not going to be too bad. But if you do
see some hazy skies today, that's what that is. It's
smoke that's coming all the way down from the numerous
fires that are going right now in Oregon and Washington. Man,
I don't know if you guys have seen the pictures

(24:10):
of all the burned down houses in Spokane, Washington, just heartbreaking.
Whole neighborhoods just wiped out again. Scenes that we have
seen here locally in some of the Napa fires and
Sonoma fires and stuff like that, but it's just heartbreaking
to see that anywhere and affecting so many people. Lots
of thousands of structures burned down in some of those fires.
But that's where we're seeing. The smoke from the Gan fire.

(24:32):
Is a fire closer to here that we do need
to talk about. This one is burning in Calvers County.
It broke out not last night, the night before, and
it started at like five point thirty in the evening
and it's already as of now, up to over seven
thousand acres. Unfortunately, with zero percent containment. This one is burning.
If you guys know where Angels Camp is, or even

(24:54):
our buddy Julian Valley Springs, one of our listeners that's
sort of in that general regents burning in the direction
of the town of Angels Camp right now, which is
up Highway four. Again, over seven thousand acres burned. We're
not going to be seeing a smoke from this one.
I think all that's the smoke from this one is
going east right towards Herbert Camp, which I'm gonna be
up pretty soon. No, I'm gonna be uh choking on

(25:17):
a bunch of smoke up there. But hopefully the firefighters
able to be careful, are able to get some containment
on this one. I did read that overnight the fire
activity did decrease a bit, and I know that this
is basically the largest fire that's going out of control
right now in California. So they're getting the most resources
as far as like air and water tanker, you know,

(25:38):
all that air support, helicopters and stuff dropping water and
stuff on this. So hopefully this one can start to
get some containment. But again, this thing is absolutely exploding
in size, and anybody that's ever driven through that area,
knows how. Just hot and dry it is out there,
rough terrain, so this thing's going out of control.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
All right, Thank you for that update, Graham.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
The JV Show on Wild Good Morning JV Show, just
wanted to let you know.

Speaker 8 (26:04):

Speaker 16 (26:40):
Hey guys, Julie from Valley Springs marking myself safe from
the fire. Yeah, Graham, it is going towards Herbert Camp.
We did not get any smoke. That's been really nice.
But it did start here. It was pretty scary. It
went away from all the houses, didn't burn anybody's house down.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
So that was good.

Speaker 16 (27:01):
It's been burning cattle property and then smoving towards Angel's camp.
So hopefully it's out before you covered Herbert Camp because
it's gonna suck.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, hopefully it's out before you go.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
The Gan fire that I just reported on over seven
thousand acres, zero percent containment at last check, and my
cars already packed for Herbert Camp, so I will not
be it will not be out before well, you know.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Just sling in a special request to the universe, Graham.
So just give me one second and done?

Speaker 3 (27:27):
So my feet feel. Does that mean the wind's going
to shift directions and then the fire slowly to San
Mamittano Tan and then all the smoke will go back
to Sanmitaeo's perfect. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (27:37):

I don't, although when your kid does something ridiculous, you're like, yes,
I do want that picture. They look scared out.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Of their pictures are so ridiculously expensive, though I know.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
I always just take a picture.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
I always like to a picture, but then and then
for what, like you never look at it.

Speaker 6 (33:50):
I don't even want a picture most of the time
because like my hair is all pushed back and in
the air, like my eyes are halfway closed, like its
just it's always a bad love wood.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Pay to see that you actually, yeah, actually, I would
you know, take the thirty dollars picture or whatever it
is unless there was a last minute guess that came

Oh?

Speaker 5 (34:13):

this part of the show. We were on summer break,
we were listening from eight thirty and on, so we
would always miss this part. But we're doing a trial
run today because we start school tomorrow, so I'm excited
for the kids to go back to school.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Did your parents make you guys do a trial run? No,
min did it?

Speaker 3 (35:25):
But pack your lunchbox and try on your first day
of school outfit and then get in the car and
drive down to the school and not get dropped.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
Off when I like, no, maybe I don't know. Maybe
not all that. I don't know. My parents did make
me do anything either, But now that I have my
own kids, like a week before, it's like, make them
go to bed like earlier to get used to getting
up yeah on time because their schedules are completely flipped righting.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
It's a major time change. Plus I could again I
get rant about this for hours. Look, I'm excited for
the kids to go back to school, but they should
go back to school in September, July and August should
be summer. It's light till nine o'clock at night. And
now I got to agree everybody back on some schedule
where they go to bed at eight thirty. It's blazing
hot out still in sunny out now, and then to

(36:07):
switch their schedule like that, and let's go back to
school in September. Yeah, can we do that? I don't
get what we're doing. Grammy should run for president, thank

you for random trivia questions. You just got to get
three correct. If you can do that, the tickets are yours.
Are you ready.

Speaker 3 (36:43):

Speaker 2 (36:43):

I mean minus the prison, of course.

Speaker 2 (37:43):

the Yeah, they.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah, sorry, up on your theater. Nope, any guesses those
things that might die, which is everything death of a salesman,
Death of a salesman, iconic play, death of a salesman.

(38:54):
All right, let's finish strong. At least that's okay. Question
number four, Let's finish strong. Liberty Island is home to
what iconic US monument? Liberty? Yeah, that's the Statue of Liberty.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
But unfortunately you missed one too many God Gosha, son
of a sales son of a marina.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Okay, the death of a salesman.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
Ag. Well, thank you for being on. You did not win.
Don't hang up and put you a whold really quick there, Graham,
we got some shout out.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
You know, we do school coming back in session. So
people suddenly have birthdays again. Hello Graham, can you please
wish my baby girl on Anastasia on Astasia on a
Stasia Anastasia, happy early thirty fourth birthday, Love you lot.
So that is from Mom Yes, happy early birthday. There,
that's a good point. Another one here, high Graham, want
to send a birthday shout out to us on Charlie
who turns tw twelve years old today on his first

(40:02):
day of seventh grade. Go hawks, Love Mom, Dad and Penny. Yes,
happy birthday and what a way to celebrate your birthday
going back to school. Can't think of any better way.
There's the farther one here. Good morning, Graham and ladies
of the JV Show. This is Sam from Ripping. Can
I get a shout out for my fiftieth birthday today?
If you can, thank you so much. Yes, Happy happy birthday,

(40:24):
Sam from Ripping. He actually really requested. You know what
kind of birthday shot he wanted. He wanted one of
my famous golf announcer bits, So Sam from Ripping. Here
he is on the fourth t big dog leg right
hole here, four hundred and sixty seven yards to the pin. Again,
he's got to hit it either over well over the
trees or risk the bunkers down the left hand side.

(40:47):
He is elected hit a three wood here. Let's see
how he does. He's shanked it anyways, But hope you
have a great birthday, Sat.

Speaker 8 (41:00):
We are, Good morning, jav show. Happy home day day.
I just wanted to wish my son Alexander a happy
first day of school. He is a junior today he's
up getting ready. He must be excited for first day
next week. I doubt I'll be able to get him
out of bed, but anyways, have a great day, guys.

(41:23):
Happy first day Alex Bye.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
Happy first day, Happy first day alex. You know it's
a big deal when like they actually shower and like
up early and they're putting the cologne on and stuff.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
They were the act you know what fresh there's no maxing. Yeah,
I forgot about that.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
Ax is out Ucci and everything else is in Excuse me,
Today's hottest trending is coming up next? Can we talk
about how Sindaya is on track to become the highest
paid actor of twenty twenty six?

Speaker 16 (41:54):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (41:54):
And it's only August.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
The hottest.

Speaker 14 (41:58):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.

Speaker 2 (42:07):
Can we talk about how Indaya it's not tracked to
become the highest paid actor of twenty twenty six?

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I guess we can.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
And it's only August? Mind you. There is still some
time to go, so chick it e check this out her.
By the way, Tom Holland, her husband, you know, maybe
maybe has been also having a massive year. So Spider
Man brand New Day just came out, right, yep, stars
both of them, Sundaya and Tom Holland, opened to nine
hundred and twenty seven million dollars worldwide just this first weekend.

(42:33):
I saw this morning that it just hit the billion
dollar mark.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
I mean and probably when they total everything globally, God,
the numbers on this are going to be insane.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Same yeah, uh mind you. This is just a couple
of weeks after The Odyssey came out, which again has
in Daya Holland, and that film is expected that film
is expected to hit a billion dollars this weekend. Oh my,
so it's August. They already have two billion dollar films
under their bell. Don't forget. Zindia also did the drama

(43:03):
that came out earlier this year in her role and
then Euphoria. There was Euphoria even before that. Zendaya, She's
already well above the two billion dollar mark so far
this year in move in productions that she's in, yes,
and in box office sales sales, yeah, wow, and she's
still not done because Dune Part three drops in December.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
Dude, so I'm excited for that one.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Actually, this means that she is on track to have
the biggest box office year of twenty twenty six. By
the way, right now, Brie Larson holds the record for
the biggest single year worldwide box office uh from back
in twenty nineteen with three point nine billion from Captain
Marvel and Avengers Endgame. But there's sayings Indaya is like
inching closer to breaking.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
That me furiously googling pre large and it.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Could happen this year. As for Tom, like I said,
he's already in the Odyssey in Spider Man. He's not
confirmed for this, and people are hoping he might also
have a role in the upcoming Avengers Doomsday, which I
mean that's gonna be he he's not on the official cast,
but maybe there's a cameo or surprise appearance or just
or something which will also you know, bring in tons

(44:12):
and tons of money.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
What a year for those two. And they got married
this year also, right, yes.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
I feel like they did. Yeah, so they are like
v it couple.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Yeah right, who would have projected that not.

Speaker 8 (44:25):
Me, not me?

Speaker 2 (44:27):
All right, Grammy and what do you have right?

Speaker 3 (44:28):
Major jackpot alert guys made jackpot alert. Tonight's power ball
drawing is four seven hundred and eighty six million dollars
surge to over three quarters of a billion dollars effort.
Nobody won the drawing on Monday night. The lump some
cash value on this. It's going to be a measly
three hundred and forty one million, and that's before taxes,

(44:49):
of course, But I think everybody could use that two
hundred and something million that you would be left and make.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
It work at the end of that stretch that smart
as they can.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Just a reminder, you can't win if you don't play,
and if you do win, which won't, but if you do,
don't forget about your favorite local morning radio show hosts
that have been tirelessly providing you a free entertainment each
and every morning. But yes, that drawing again is tonight
seven hundred and eighty six million dollars.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Up for grabs.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
Okay, now to this. According to a new federal study,
marijuana use has surpassed cigarette smoking for the first time
in our nation's history. How is this new it's new.
It's a new study, I just said. Researchers found that
nearly forty four million Americans used marijuana in twenty twenty five,
compared with about thirty six million cigarette smokers. The number
of cigarette smokers is dwindling. Wow, probably because most of

(45:34):
them are dying of lung cancer.

Speaker 15 (45:35):
You know.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
I just found out smoke who Cardi B? Really?

Speaker 1 (45:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (45:40):
She was.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
She posted a video or maybe she was live, I
don't know, and she was like, don't come for me
for smoking. As she's smoking a cigarette, She's like, I'm
a single mom, I'm stressed out and this and that.
I just I just don't.

Speaker 5 (45:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
When it comes to sound decision making, Cardi B is
not my north star of true decisions.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
But I don't know. I just turned me on.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
We have talked about how cigarette smoking is sort of
making a come back amongst younger people, which is ridiculous.
They did find that cigarette smoking way more predominant with
older adults. Marijuana use highest amongst adults age eighteen to
twenty five, so it's sort of a balance out there.
They say. Despite the increase of marijuana use, alcohol still
the king of our vices. Nearly one hundred and thirty

(46:18):
million Americans reported that they consumed alcohol at some point
in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
We know drinking is way down, but alcohol is still.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
A Numero n.

Speaker 12 (46:28):
How is this new?

Speaker 3 (46:29):
It's just I just told you.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Okay, yeah, wow, all right, well, thank you Grammy. Coming
up next on the JV Show, we have your chance
to win one thousand dollars in crazy cash. Plus we
got to talk about why this Spider Man screening was
evacuated over the canting yep.

Speaker 6 (46:44):
But first, let me remind everybody that outside Lens is
basically almost here August seven through the ninth, that's this
Friday through Sunday, and I'm going to be there on
Friday at the Hennessy Social Club.

Speaker 5 (46:58):
I'll be there twelve to two. I want to see you.
I want to have a refreshing Hennessey strawberry lemonade with you.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
How many of those are you gonna drink? What if
fifty people come out to hang with you, Jess, and
they're each like, Hey, you promise we're going to have
a refreshing Hennessey strawberry lemonade together.

Speaker 6 (47:13):
Yeah, we will have those strawberry lemonades together Okay, I
can handle a few, maybe not fifty, but i'll try.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
I'll try maybe late two, maybe I could.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
Do three responsibility.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Yeah, everybody please, but yeah, I'll be there.

Speaker 5 (47:29):
It's gonna be super fun. They're gonna have you know, prices, games, everything.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
So stop bye, yep, all right, that's Spider Man screening.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
Let's talk about back the JV show on Wild ninety
four nine.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
All right, so the last week we're we're just talking
about how big Spider Man brand New Day is. I
saw a report this morning that it's officially hit the
billion dollar mark worldwide, and so imagine what it's going
to be after this coming weekend. I had a massive
opening weekend around the world. In Columbia, people's experience was
come completely ruined. This was August seconds. You know, everything

(48:03):
was going great. People are there in their spidy gear,
excited for the movie. Everything was going perfect until about
halfway through the movie. People had to like evacuate and
get out of that theater as quickly as possible. Somebody
just could not hold in their parts. There was a
gas leak of that nature. Wow, and a lot of

(48:27):
people were like it was so bad, we we can't
even tell if it was if it was really coming
from a person, or if it was a stink bomb
situation or what is that?

Speaker 3 (48:40):
Yeah, like it was that bad.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
People were like physically sick. People are not like physically ill.
And they couldn't even sit to the rest of the movie.
They were so mad. Everyone's out in the hallway like complaining.
I saw video. One guy's in a Spider Man outfit

(49:05):
and he's fished off that he can he can finish
the movie, but it was so bad. They can't tell
if it was really from a person or or did
somebody like, you know, as a prank. Were they unleashing this?
I mean it was like so rotten, is what they said.
I had to evacuate the place.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
My gut tells me that it probably a prank, don't
you If it's that overwhelming that an entire theory theater
empties out, like usually that speaks to it being a
stink bomb or whatever. Once they let that thing air out. Look,
you're you're dressed up in your Spider Man costume, because
how else could you go see the new Spider Man

(49:41):
movie dressed in normal street clothes? Like that's stupid. No,
So you're dressed in your Spider Man outfit. Not a
lot of fresh air coming through that mask, and all
you're getting is just this awful stench. Okay, once they
let the theater air out for a minute, the threat
is over. Are you going to go back in? There's
probably still a little lingering. So are you gonna go
back and finish the movie because you only got halfway in? Uh,
you're dressed up like Spider Man.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
No, not in that theater.

Speaker 5 (50:03):
I feel like they have to give you a voucher
for another or move it to a different theater.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
Yeah, you could wait to find out what's going to happen.
All the other theaters are taking you guys, everybody else
is watching. You feel like I'm going back.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
To I feel like something like that. This smells not
going away like completely.

Speaker 3 (50:16):
Let's get a linger. It's definitely a linger.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Right, I'm not doing that, but I want to know
what happens in the movie.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
And I'm dressed up like Spider Man. I'm not coming
back at a later date.

Speaker 5 (50:25):
Move it to a different auditorium.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
Nope, everybody, wait, those theaters are packed up. Yeah, everybody's
in there watching. Give me a ref's taking up all
the other theaters so sorry.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Sang it. That's a good point. All right, Grammy, what
did you want to talk about here?

Speaker 3 (50:40):
I wanted to do a quick check in on you, Selena,
because you on the JV show are our former door
dash addict. Is that still former? Are we still? Have
you had any backslides? Any relapses? And I'm going to
let you answer that in just a second. Because this
woman posted about how she paid thirty two dollars for
US single Arby's sandwich that she ordered through or wiber Eats.

(51:04):
All bees we have the meat, Yeah they do, she says.
The sandwich itself listed for thirteen dollars and twenty eight cents.
It's a double roast beef from Arby's. All these we
have the meat. It wasn't a meal, no fries, no drink,
just the double roast beef sandwich. Again, thirteen dollars and
twenty eight cents. That's the listed price of the sandwich.

(51:25):
Then there was a twelve dollars delivery fee, another two
dollars for what she described as a long distance fee.
She must have lived far away from that Arby's. Then
there was tax, and then she tipped the driver three
dollars and that brought the grand total to thirty two
dollars for one double roast beef sandwich from Arby's Albes.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
We have the meat.

Speaker 3 (51:44):
I think we can all agree. The fees and the
things and all the add ons are getting a little ridiculous.
So Selena, now back to you. Because we even tallied
up one year how many fees and delivery charges and
stuff you had spent over the course of a year
ordering on a door dash. You were a door dasher addict.

Speaker 2 (52:02):
Yeah, okay, it wasn't over the course of a year.

Speaker 3 (52:05):
It was lifetime.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
I think it was lifetime.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
Whatever it was, your kids won't be able to attend college,
it was. It was a big number. So where are
you at now? Talk to us.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
So I think I'm actually pretty good. I think i've been.
I've been doing pretty good not door dashing. There's times
where like I think.

Speaker 3 (52:21):
About it, Uh huh, I want you fash.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
Yeah, it's so convenient. It's nice to be I'm starving
just to have a meal showd at my door.

Speaker 3 (52:29):
I get that double Rose market.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
But I don't. But I don't. I've actually been really
good at not using door dash. I'm not going to
say that I don't ever use it. There's times where
it's like if I if I need to, I'm really
not feeling like going out and grabbing something for the kids,
I'll do it.

Speaker 3 (52:46):
But you said you deleted the app. You were you
went cold turkey.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
I did the apps back. The AP's back, but.

Speaker 16 (52:53):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
I don't use it like that. I'm actually going through
my history. My my daughter is the one that's using it.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
Oh so charges are still being made, but just because
you found a little loophole, just because it's not you.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
But look, let me see here there is one, two,
maybe three four times a month.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Okay, that's a huge improvement because you used to have
three times in a day. There were times where you
three times in one day.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Not three times two times in one day. Day is
the day is crazy.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
I guarantee there was a three time a day.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
What happened maybe at one point, I don't know, maybe
in case of a real emergency. But yeah, so I
feel like I've actually been doing really, really good. I've
cut back significantly.

Speaker 3 (53:30):
I think everybody needs to. The fees on the stuff.
When you're paying more than the actual thing you're ordering,
it makes sense if you're doing a large order, you
know what I mean, and then that delivery stuff is
a fraction of the total cost you're spending. I get it.
We've all been in a pinch for dinner. Whatever it is.
You need to order a bunch of food for your
entire family, sure, but if you're ordering your coffee every day,

(53:51):
or you're ordering that one Rby's double roast beef sandwich
or whatever, yeah, it's ridiculous. You're just throwing money your way.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Agreed.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
I'm proud of you, Selena. Know, I'm very proud of
you because you have a real it was.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
Kind of real problems. Well that's a real issue.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
Welcome back, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
The Bays at number one hit music station where the
JV Show. I'm Selena, and we are getting closer to
randomly selecting the winner for these Giants tickets. But there's
no time. If you want to leave your talk back,
do it now. Nine to five. We're going to play
the winning talk back, So you got some time to
get that talk back in. Leave us your name and
who you would take with you to the game. When
is the game? The game is on August eleventh, All right,

(54:32):
so do that now.

Speaker 12 (54:33):
Good luck TV shows boy and bye, especially case Steve.
Remember and it was really was really good. We saw
Friday to Hart my daughter Harper to see it at
eleven am. We saw in the city in xd where
the screens on the sides of the walls.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
It was so cool.

Speaker 12 (54:48):
And then the same day at three o'clock to my
wife l Visa, see it Emerysville Base. You saw it
in Adobe. Still wonderful, wonderful film, very well done. I
recommend it.

Speaker 8 (55:00):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
Whoa, whoa, whoa Wait wait did he just say he
so he went to go see Spider Man in the
morning with his daughter, and then Lettery goes with his
wife to see Spider Man again a different theater.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
And mind you, he said, eleven am and three pms.
This is like back to back. You didn't even take
a break.

Speaker 3 (55:15):
Yeah, it's pretty long movie. Right, So legitimately, Spider Man
in theaters twice in the same day. Wow, it's a Wednesday.
Is cool or not? You guys?

Speaker 6 (55:26):
Well, I'm gonna say cool because maybe his wife wasn't
able to make it for the first screening, but also,
why didn't he just wait.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
For the I feel like you could have got the
family altogether. Yeah, at some point just done one do
you know? All right?

Speaker 13 (55:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
I don't want to say not cool. But so he
had to pay doupule of money. Yeah, maybe he's rich.
Maybe he won crazy cash here on wild Hey, could
be that's the thing here, could have another thousand bucks
coming up. Nine to five. Yep, I do have a
question about back to school?

Speaker 3 (55:56):
Okay, Graham?

Speaker 15 (55:57):
One?

Speaker 3 (55:57):
Are your kids go back next week? Sometime? I'm still
waiting to download that parents Square app, So I'm not
exactly sure.

Speaker 2 (56:03):
My god, on the day, mind go back the week
after next? I don't even know, so I just know
it's not today. I'm going one day at a time here.
So I was on Instagram and I saw a video
and it was the mom and she was like, you know,
in her sink, cleaning stuff. And she's like, is that
time of year again where I'm scrubbing shoes and cleaning,
you know, cleaning out the backpacks and stuff. And a

(56:24):
lot of people are like, you don't get your kids
like a new shoes and a new backpack. And she's like, well,
if they need it, like of course, but these shoes,
there's nothing wrong with them. They're little scuffed up, a
little dirty, Like why am I going to go buy
brand new stuff when I mean they got perfectly good
shoes right here, this backpack. I mean, they're young, the
backpack is perfectly fine. Why can't they use it for

(56:44):
this next school year? So ballad, I write, I just
kind of I just floated the idea out to my daughter, like, hey,
you know, do I really need to buy you another
eighty dollars backpack? Like what's wrong with the one you
just had? It's perfectly fine, used it for one year,
It's still a one piece. Just let me just cleaned
it off. He'll be good as new. She's like, Mom,
that's so ghetto. Mom's like so cheap. My stop being

(57:07):
so cheap. Just they me and you a backpack and
like a spray ground backpack, Like it's just eighty dollars.
People gonna make fun of me. Uh spray ground, Oh,
spray ground.

Speaker 13 (57:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
I remember hearing to those, Yeah, Graham.

Speaker 2 (57:18):
Where are you guys out with this? You guys read you?
I mean like, like, don't get me wrong. Like shoes
in clothes, obviously, as long as she can fit them,
she's still wearing them. I'd die here. Maybe one or
two new pairs of shoes or something like that. But
we're not like throwing everything out as if it's not good.
But I'm like the backpack, why do I have to
get you a new backpack every year?

Speaker 3 (57:33):
Both my kids will be on year three, maybe four
of their current backpacks. Thank you, it's still good.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
They're still little.

Speaker 5 (57:42):
They haven't gotten to the point where it matters to them.

Speaker 3 (57:45):
They are starting to have more opinions about the things
that they wear, and I find that very annoying. Back
To school shopping used to be a lot easier because like,
here's what, and you just walk around and get the
shirts that you're gonna wear, and these are the shoes
that you're gonna weary, and oh god, the opinions. Mostly
for my daughter, who's about to be seven in a
couple of weeks, a lot of opinions about what she

(58:07):
can wear, a lot of meltdowns when things don't fit
right or look right. I've got big trouble.

Speaker 2 (58:13):
The backpack is just one of those things where it's like,
why it's a backpack, Yeah, good enough for you last year,
Why can't you just use it again?

Speaker 6 (58:21):
And so she's gonna want one every year, So you're
just gonna have a collection of a mug I.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
Guess, so like for what.

Speaker 3 (58:28):
Okay, but think back to your middle school self, Selena,
and she's gonna be in high school, right, yeah, high school.
I can't think back to my middle school self. And
remember that was the first year I cared about my
backpack because it was like you want to fit in
and it was like everybody has this kind of backpack JanSport,
and you.

Speaker 2 (58:43):
Know those aren't cool anymore.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
They still make the chan Sport.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
Yeah, but apparently, and they're more expensive. They're like sixty
five bucks. Yeah, there's like different kinds their backpacks are expensive.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Doesn't Amazon sell like a handsport or something like that, Yeah,
slightly off bryone that looks exactly the same.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
I'm sure they do.

Speaker 3 (59:03):
Yeah, you don't want to be that, don't.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
I did have to buy my my son a new
spider Man backpack though he's going into kindergarten. He was
in TK last year, and I'm like, okay, well, you
can still use the same one, like what you just
brought home like a hoodie every day from school? You
didn't it, Let's be honest. I went to go like
look through it the other day and he had left
a tangerine Oh no, in one of the pockets that

(59:27):
had molded so bad it molded into the backpack. I
couldn't even get it out.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
So's been there for months?

Speaker 2 (59:33):
Yes, make the entire thing.

Speaker 3 (59:37):
Yeah that one. Okay, time for a new backpack, understand
I get that it.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
Was so gross.

Speaker 3 (59:42):
I guess I haven't checked my kids backpack, so it
probably is a sack lunch in the show from done that.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Yet parents do that now?

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (59:51):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine, you.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
Ever met a sweetish girl slamer?

Speaker 8 (59:55):
No?

Speaker 3 (59:56):
I have you have?

Speaker 2 (59:58):
And where the JV show. By the way, I'm Selena
and I'm just thanks for hanging out with Wildney for night.
We got more crazy cash coming up. Nine oh five.
We were just talking about reusing backpacks for the new
school year.

Speaker 10 (01:00:11):
Good morning, Just about the backpacking. My daughter's going to
be a senior and she starts school next week. Apparently
seniors they all get new backpacks and they are all
children's themed backpacks, Disney characters, cartoon Seniors, Carrie Blue Princess,
things like that. So I'm getting my daughter a new

(01:00:33):
senior backpack that should be for a six year old.

Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
Okay, you buy?

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Yeah, I have heard of that me too. I remember
I had a couple of my cousin's kids shout out
to Napa Hi. They were going there and that was
the thing that was there, and I had never heard
of that. But I guess that is a tradition that
is still going.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
So like, what do you fit in there?

Speaker 15 (01:00:51):
Though?

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
Well there's still some bigger backpacks that are for kids.

Speaker 9 (01:00:55):
Yeah, okay, all right, these are just questions Morning and
JV Show. That's Christina Farmer Fell. I'm calling because I
wanted to comment on the back to school stuff. Look,
I have two kids.

Speaker 11 (01:01:06):
One was raised and went to school public schools in
the US, and then I had one that started school
when we moved to Europe. It's only a US thing
that we have to buy all this new stuff, it
truly is. They don't do that over there. They don't
even barely have any advertisements for that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
So do what you need to do.

Speaker 11 (01:01:23):
Money doesn't grow on trees.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
We all do our best.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
Anyways, have a.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Great day, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
That's actually really crazy to me. So you're telling me
back to school shopping is only like a thing here
and yeah, we're being tricked into like spending all this money.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Yeah, think about Valentine's Day some of these No, no,
let's keep that for Valentine.

Speaker 5 (01:01:40):
That one's all over the world.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
I heard, got their countries. We just checked in with
the JV Show embassies.

Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
Yeah, number one, the US embassies abroad.

Speaker 2 (01:01:54):
All right, Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
I want to talk about something that steakhouse in Florida
is doing, and I want to get your guys thoughts
because obviously the Internet has lots of thoughts about it.
This restaurant in Florida. It is called Class Soire Steakhouse.

Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Oh okay, sounds colaxing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
In Hollywood, Florida. I don't know where that is. Somewhere
in Florida. I guess they got their own Hollywood. And
what they're going to be doing is what the chef
is calling a nude dining experience. On the first Monday
of every month, they will be offering a clothing optional,
essentially private party. I guess is how they're working around
some of the health, health and food safety laws. Although

(01:02:32):
I don't know it's Florida, I don't know if they
really don't have a lot of that stuff goes. The
chef and owner of the restaurant came up with this idea.
He said their servers will likely remain clothed, although I
saw an interview with the hostess and she said she
will not be clothed. So oh, thank God to look
forward to on your way in tickets for the dinner
two hundred and fifty dollars for men, one hundred and

(01:02:53):
fifty for women. Okay, seems discriminatory. Three hundred dollars for couple.

Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
Like clubs. That's always nice and we don't have to
pay to get in.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
There are some rules u sikkos. They say nobody under
the age of eighteen. I feel like that should go
without saying again, though it is Florida, so they probably
have to mention that. And no touchy, no touchy of
another person without their consent.

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
I feel like they shouldn't be touching even with consents.
This is a restaurant. Haancy yourself, eat your food and
then get out.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
But everybody's naked around you doesn't.

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Mean you'd start to groping and touch it.

Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
It does. That's Each diner will be given a robe,
a soft towel, and a seat cover, like it's toilet
seat cover. No, I think I got some sort of
maybe disposable seat I picture, like you know when you
go into a house and they give you those like

(01:03:46):
shoe covers, or maybe at the hospital. I bet you
it's something like that to put over so you don't
leave put it on your seat. Yeah, well yeah, but
just in case that you know, for a but god, yeah,
way you don't sweat on there.

Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
Yeah, I'm judging, judging everything, So hold on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
So you are, you're naked, you don't have to be.
But if they say they give you a robe, is
the robe optional or can you do you know what
I mean, like like you can be naked closer optional,
but you got to have the robe on.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
No, No, I think maybe just maybe if you feel
more comfortable popping the robe on while you walk to
your seat or to the bathroom or something, and then
when once you hit your seat, pop that baby off.
Let the sweater puppies breathe you.

Speaker 5 (01:04:26):
I'm judging so gross out and the owners are sick.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
They're gross Yeah, like this this is his idea.

Speaker 3 (01:04:33):
You wonder why I've seen articles about I mean, there's
always been you know, nudist camps and nude summer camps
and stuff. But I guess the popularity of these things
has been surging. I read an article about how like
there are these adult summer camps and they are for
nudist and they're booked, they're packed, Like this is a
big thing. Why is this such a big thing? Because

(01:04:55):
have you ever seen no I mean, no offense to
everybody goes to the to the new camps, but like,
but go ahead, I just I respect your confidence. Put
it that way. I respect your confidence body positivity. Right, Yeah,
Who are the people that want to go around and
just like.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Show and like do this.

Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
I don't know, but I mean there's a lot of
people where in nudity is not a big deal. I
mean we talk about it when we talked about naked moms.
You know, I'm one of those people where I just
I can't. I'm not there yet. I don't know if
I ever will be, like so going to a public space.
Absolutely not ever in this lifetime.

Speaker 5 (01:05:29):
No, just think that for some people it's not a
big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
It's like so it's just it's just my body, it's
just their bodies.

Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
Keep it to other things. Nothing that involves like dining. Yeah,
the food that that just sounds kind of gross.

Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
Sitting next to other people, you know, when the tables
at restaurants are always so close together, it's like you're
in their conversation. Now you're going to be like in
their business.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
All of it wet from a butt. You guys would
not go.

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
No, I'm out on this. I'm out. I think we
all are. I didn't even bother asking you would you
go because I know you lay know the answer is
going to be a hard no yeah or or soft yeah,
kind of a saggy wow maybe for me.

Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 15 (01:06:12):
Hey Jess, if you're going outside Lands on Friday, please
check out griz Tronics.

Speaker 8 (01:06:16):
It's two DJs are so good.

Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
It's not house for technom by based dubstep, but probably
the closest thing you'll experience to a rave and they're
so good.

Speaker 12 (01:06:28):
Please check them out.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
Okay, Jess, you are going outside Lands on Friday and
you could see grizz Tronics. Yeah, dude, I me and
griz Tronics go way back. No way, no, I've never
heard of going, but pretty good. How much based dubstep
are you into these days, I could.

Speaker 6 (01:06:45):
Do a little a little dub step in a especially
in a music festival setting.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Okay, okay, all right, I the best way to go
about it?

Speaker 6 (01:06:52):
Well then perfect, But yeah, don't forget Friday. I'll be
there and I'll be there at the Hennessy Social Club
twelve to two. Have a refreshing strawberry lemonade with me.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Nice.

Speaker 14 (01:07:06):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
Today are ele close to Ariana Grande are loving her
relationship with Ricky Alvarez. As you know, she's back with
Ricky the X. And also, as you know, Ariana has
been in the headlines a lot this week because she
announced that she is taking a step back from the
spotlight after her tour wraps. People said it was because
of all the public scrutiny over her appearance. She says
the break was pre planned. Regardless, the public scrutiny is

(01:07:36):
still a thing, and people in Ariana circle feel that
Ricky has been and is still, you know, consistently a
positive influence on her. They say that he's a good
guy and he's been a rock for her throughout all
of this. Now, this kind of got me to thinking,
if something is going on with Arianna, and I'm saying

(01:07:57):
if emphasis on the if, because we don't know. This
is just speculation. She could be perfectly happy and healthy,
like she says, right, but if there is something else,
do you think Ethan Slater her ex is like well
aware and maybe it could be what drove them apart.
Maybe just speculation. We don't know. We don't know, but

(01:08:20):
good for her that she's got someone that has her back.

Speaker 16 (01:08:22):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Like they say, we need to talk about low Wayne's
obsession with teen moms. Why can you look at low
Wayne's age really quick? Yes, thankfully, not not moms that
are teens currently, but they were on Teen Mom. Okay, okay,
forty three years old?

Speaker 3 (01:08:39):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
I had to clarify he's forty three years old. Jest Okay,
do you remember when when I told you how loll
Wayne at one point flew out Janelle Evans. She was
on Teen Mom, probably one of the more the more
famous Teen Moms. She was on one of the original seasons.
She's a OG cast member, and she told this story
you know online that he flew her out La for
a date. He wanted things to go a little further.

(01:09:03):
She wasn't feeling it, wanted to get to know him better,
and so he just bought her a flight home instead.
No hard feelings, all.

Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
Good, didn't work out whatever. Back to the airport, we get.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
Another thirteen mom that I am not very familiar with.
She's one of the newer ones. She's twenty three years old.
Rachel Beaver. I guess after hearing about Janelle Evans getting
flown out, she decided to hit up Lil Wayne and
she or TMZ posted these dms. She made them available,
and on November thirteenth, she wrote to him, fly me out.

(01:09:36):
I won't say anything like the last one, and all
the Wayne responded was like the number sign like a
hashtag like number, and then she sent her number. They
start texting and she's like, okay, well, like what dates
work for you? My birthdays in April? Is that fine?
And he was just like whenever you're ready, baby, And
then and then she was like okay, well, like do

(01:09:58):
I book it or are you gonna do it? And
he said he said, yeah, I love someone will do
all of that for you.

Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
So one of his people booked the Beaver.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
Yeah, well they were trying. Yeah, they were trying to
book the Beaver. There were some issues with I don't
think she had a real idea or something, so I
didn't end up happening, and she had her ID situation situated.
She hit him back up and the text messages were green.
He blocked her.

Speaker 3 (01:10:24):
No, but yeah, he's like, ain't nobody got time to wait?

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Here's what's so like? You're lol Wayne? Yeah, and you're
just opening DMS from anybody and anybody.

Speaker 5 (01:10:34):
Who's like, fly me out, you just do it and
somebody has that weird half your eight.

Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
No, not if you're a rich celebrity, like what's a
couple hundred dollars on Southwest flight to fly some beaver
your way? Right? But I was sorry, what's her name?
Rachel Beaver?

Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Yeah, we're like, it's Beaver. But I would think like
the chances of him even seeing that message, you think,
lol Wayne is just like sitting there going through dms.

Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
That is a good point.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
He probably weird to me.

Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
Maybe she is like verified or something and not popped
out because of routine mom status or something.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Let me look up the Beaver, do you I.

Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Often think this like celebrities, wouldn't they be like really
adverse to dming or texting anybody because then anybody can
turn around and take a screenshot and throw that up online,
and now your business is out there. I would assume
like they almost have to go old school on talk
to everyone on the phone, like actually talk to them,
although you could record that as well too, but I

(01:11:25):
think it's so much easier. Everybody posts the dms like
oh you said this, Uh yeah, right, you actually said this, look,
and then they can post it like I wouldn't DM
anybody if I was a big celebrity.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
No, I don't think I would either. I'm having trouble
finding the Beab's Instagram account. I gotta do some more
investigative work. Are you doing that, Graham?

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
What do you have? All Right? There's an airline called
jet Star and they have found yet another way to
Nickel and Dimus passengers with more fees. If you've never
heard a jet Star, you're not alone. They're an airline
in Australia. But I'm hoping this does not spread to
more airlines here domestically, because starting in February of twenty
twenty seven, they just announced they're going to be charging
passengers to use the overhead bin eighteen dollars if you

(01:12:05):
want to put your bag up there. If you don't
want to pay, the underseat area in front of your
seat that is still free, no charge there, But we
know not as big of a suitcase can fit under
that seat. They say they are giving customers this option,
not really given it to you, because they're just telling
you if you want to use the overhead bin, you
have to pay. But they say it will help free

(01:12:26):
up some more of that overhead bin space as well
as streamline the entire boarding process because they point to
the fact that people, a lot of travelers have anxiety
about whether or not there's going to be room for
their bag to fit in the overhead bin. I share
that anxiety, which is why I usually gate check my
bag when't given the opportunity, because I hate having to
play that game because I'm usually one of the lots
of people on the plane because we're always late. What

(01:12:49):
do you guys think about this? Eighteen dollars to put
your bag in the overhead bin, but there is a
guaranteed space, probably an assigned slot, for you to put
your bag. Would you pay that? No?

Speaker 15 (01:13:00):
Cheap.

Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
It's cheaper than the check bag fee, which now is
I don't know, like forty fifty bucks or whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Sometimes I'll just say, if I'm traveling alone, yeah I
think I would pay that, But if I'm traveling with
my husband that I just like make him do with it,
and so I'm fine either way, Like you'll find a
spot for it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:15):
Why are the bins above my seat always full when
I'm not there yet, you know what I mean? Yeah,
put your bags. I wish they sort of had assigned areas,
like if you're in these rows, you can use these bins.
Because everybody dumps their bag ahead of where they're sitting,
and that's probably my seat, and then they go back
and take their seat, and then on the way out
they grab their bag out, like no, no, no, no, no,

(01:13:36):
that should be where I get to put my bag.

Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
Well, because there's a lot of people that are like,
if there's a spot taking, you don't know what it's
going to look down there?

Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
Yeah, right, it's game of musical chairs or whatever. Yeah,
and that I would probably pay that, sadly, Yeah, just
because I hate the anxiety of it. Not me, but
they shouldn't they shouldn't be charging.

Speaker 7 (01:13:52):
Us for this.

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
I feel like your anxiety is not as bad as
Jess or mine, though, Graham, because at least you can
reach the overhead bind like mine is anxiety from like
one not finding spot to not being able to reach my.

Speaker 3 (01:14:01):
Bag there like bhysically and everyone's just sitting there looking
like it already.

Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
Wow, you see a little person in stress. She needs
all right, Thank.

Speaker 8 (01:14:14):
You, Graham.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
You were just telling us about the overhead bind situation.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
Yeah you're again. It's called jet Starts an Australian airline,
but I'm hoping other domestic airlines here don't pick up
this new policy. But they're gonna start charging people eighteen
dollars to put a bag in the overhead bins.

Speaker 13 (01:14:32):
Happy wins, Well Friday for you guys, Happy Friday for
you guys talking about being hard person thing than just
to put their luggage on the overhead bins. I remember
this one time my wife and I were going on vacation,
were sitting in our seats and this really pregnant lady.
I could tell you them to struggle, So I stood up,
I said, would you like me to put that on
the overhead and she said, yes please, I did so,

(01:14:52):
and she looked to Mys and said he's a keeper. Well,
let's just say that birthday voucher came early that night.
Gentlemen take note.

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
Yeah, you should definitely always assist somebody if you're seeing
them struggling to get the bin up, like our very
own slain, our very own, just because they're both four
feet How tall are you, guys again.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
I'm five feet. I'm five to two.

Speaker 3 (01:15:16):
Actually, okay, well you're a giant, but still sometimes hard
to reach.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
The helpless if you see you see a struggling selpless.

Speaker 15 (01:15:24):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:25):
About to ask something we do every Wednesday?

Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Are cool or not? Less?

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
Where you throw some things out? We discussed is that
cool or not? Did you guys mind if I throw
something in here? Go ahead?

Speaker 15 (01:15:33):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
Cool or not? This really embarrassing thing that happened to
me yesterday?

Speaker 15 (01:15:37):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Hold life? Let me explain what happened. Okay, so you
guys know after the showow today, I was really excited
to go get my lashes done. I haven't been you know.

Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
I used.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
I used to go to loom Lash. They have a location.
I go to the one in Oakland, but they have
more locations, but it's robot robot, yeah right, and I
heard they had a bunch of upgrades, like now their
robot does you do both eyes. At the same time,
I was like so excited to get down there and
like get some lashes. I know, you should go, you should.

(01:16:06):
It's I'm not going to go into all the details
now and how it's done, but it's really cool technology
that they have. And so just to kind of explain
what the process is, like you lay down in there
and they have the robot doing your lashes, but there
still is like a person, a human there, you know,
checking the work and making sure that everything's all good.

Speaker 3 (01:16:21):
And after that you said has a better personality.

Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
I did not say that.

Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
I say that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
And then after the robot portion, you you stay and
you lay for like the hand lash portion, and then
the humans going through and like checking everything, makes making
sure everything's stuck, and then like adding you lashes to
like kind of customize your your look and make sure
everything's all good. Well, I was so tired after the
show and so relaxed, and I'm already you know, laying
there and you know, lash naps are completely normal. Okay,

(01:16:50):
like they're called lash naps. Everybody falls asleep during these days, Okay,
it's it's a completely normal thing. Well, I didn't even
feel myself falling asleep, didn't even know I had fallen
asleep until I woke up and my mouth was wide open,
and my first thought was like, oh my god, like,
how long have I been breathing in this poor girl's face?

Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
So very long time?

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
So embarrassed. I didn't talk the rest of the appointment.
I was so embarrassed. I wanted to publicly apologize to Alana,
who was my lash artist. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:17:24):
Whatever that was like for you, it was not good.
Does she have a look of horror on her face
when you finally woke up after probably an hour of.

Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
Being sleep fully during that your eyes are shut because
she's working on your lashes, so I couldn't I couldn't see,
you know, the look of disgust on her face. A
Lona's like, what in the mouth breathing is going on here?

Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
Why was she doing this? After?

Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Like you guys have I'm sure fallen asleep with your
mouth open before and you know after that, you know,
after that, Yeah, your mouth is like just dry and
it's like weird and it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
Was like flies buzzing around.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
It was like that, and I was like, oh my god,
how long have I been like this? I was so embarrassed.
Not cool, I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
Yeah, she didn't rule it out that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
Oh man, usually mouth open and there's just a little
bit pool in there, the drool wants to come out.
I'm going very cool. I think Jess had it right
even prior to hearing the store embarrassing moment for you,
I'm thinking cool, last robot cool, mouth open that part
not cool? Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 5 (01:18:21):
Everything about this sounds pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
Selena, Yeah, wow, thank you Jess. It was an experience,
you know, I guess. And now Alana gets a public apology. Yeah,
I'm sorry about that. Graham, you want to throw something
in here?

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
Yeah, really quick? What do you guys think cool or not?
A Florida teen has just become the world's youngest college
professor at the age of eighteen. Whoa this kid? Nathan Thomas,
at the age of ten started college and he's one
of these prodigy kids. But he became a professor at

(01:18:56):
just the age of eighteen. Do you guys think cool
or not.

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
I think cool, But the cool that he was able
to accomplish that, I mean, that's amazing. But question because
you guys went to college. Yeah, it's hard enough as
a professor getting your students to respect you. Right now,
imagine being eighteen years old. Is your average twenty one
twenty two year olds going in there? You want to
listen to this eighteen year old kid. No, be bossed

(01:19:23):
around by this eighteen year old.

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
I'm with you, cool on this kid, congrats on your achievements.
It's incredible. But if this dude was my professor and
some little eighteen year old little pip squeak I just saw,
I'm gonna be like, no, bro, no, and this guy's
yelling at me about turning in my essay or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
