Speaker 1 (00:00):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's Wildy for nine for the base number one hit
music station, The JV Show. I'm Selena room and I'm dressed.
No first tech first talk back of the morning this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
No people will come on. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
What is going on? Hello?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Anybody listening, that's not.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Guess not show first either way.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
If anyone is listening, thank you for listening to the
JV Show. I'm Selena and I'm just Can I go
back to the necklace thing we talked about on yesterday show?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Sure if anybody missed it.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
There's this old wives tale if you will, where you
can kind of you can predict how many kids that
a woman is going to have and the genders of
each one by holding a necklace over the woman's palm
or the wrist according to some And if it goes
into circular motion, she's having a girl, and if it
swings back and forth it's a boy. Then you kind
of just go down the line and whenever it stopped,

(00:52):
that's how many kids she's gonna have. And I was
telling you guys, I predicted correctly. One of my friends, uh,
you know, pregnancies which just happened now, And I made
this prediction like eight nine years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
I was shook it when she told me this. I
did it to you, Jess right, no kids, no kids,
which is perfect, you don't want kids. It aligns anyways
what I've said before. So I was shook it about
that too.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
And then we have Graham, who doesn't believe anything if
it's not backed by science.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Yeah, I'm sorry. Do I think a necklace predicts the future?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
No, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Fine, we'll listen to this. I got a DM here
from Emma. Shout out to Emma. She said, Selena, the
necklace trick is legit. I've done it on eight friends
and been right every single time. But it only works
if I do it. Other people do it, it's wrong.
So now we all think I'm a witch, and apparently
you are too. O W.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I know, like, how do we turn this into big business?
Because if you can accurately predict the future, I mean, hello, right,
you got something here?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I mean I'm open for bookings.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
All right, start booking them up at this point.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Just like, leave us a talk back and we'll ligne
withthing up.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
Yeah, and we'll have you show up. So do you
have to use a specific necklace.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I guess not because I.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Used yours yesterday, but you'd probably get like a cool
custom made one done for your new witchcraft.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah yeah, yes, hat business.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yes, of course, crystal ball robe, which is where robes
you get a bunch of dry ice too, gotta have
it real.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Smoking around people walk in.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah, a couple of black likes music.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, that's going to be cool.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
How much do you get to charge I don't know,
people to find out how many future kids are going
to have?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
How much should I charge? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
What's the future do I have to give you? Guys,
like a little fee for like getting that talk back
and helping me, you know what I mean, like bridging
that gap between me and the in the client.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I think so, I mean I have like a percent.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Percent Yeah, okay, so what are we thinking? Like one
thousand dollars?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Like yeah, something like that doesn't make it worth.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Our time, you know, because it's the future.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
She's telling me you.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Paid to know your future.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
The future.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
I don't know exactly what psychics, I mean, scam artists
are charging these days.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
It's real es where you are.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
This whole thing, the necklace didn't move above your hand.
You don't want kids, and you're like, but also Selena
knows you don't want kids, so like, maybe should wiggle
her hand on that. Where are you at in your
belief that a necklace held over someone's hand is accurately
predicting the future.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
I mean, you know me, I love to believe in things, so.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
To me, I don't need a lot for me to
just believe.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
But you saw it with your own eyes just side.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
I saw it, And I also I saw that Selena
wasn't purposely like you know, moving her pand back and forth,
swirling it around.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Shakes if she doesn't have an energy drink every two hours,
so her hand gets a little shaky, But that's okay.
What do you think about just regular psychics in general?
Do you think they can predict the future?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I think there are people that have, you know, certain powers.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
I wouldn't say maybe like, oh my god, I can
predict the future exactly, Like I can tell you exactly
what lotto numbers are. I can tell you, you know,
the specific name maybe of like the person that you're
going to meet and Mary, and these are the kids
you're gonna have, and like to that extent. But I
do think that people can. There's people that have those
certain abilities, whether it's like they feel certain types of

(04:16):
energy or they can.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
I don't know, see dead people.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
That's the thing.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Well, the same dead people I have, I have an
easier time, like you know, they connect with some sort
of spirit or something. I have a better I'd have
an easier time believing in that than I do that somebody,
somebody can see the future, because if somebody could see
the future again, you'd be winning the power Ball every week.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, maybe it's just selective.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Maybe like the future doesn't show all of them all
of itself.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Oh true, you know, God, I don't know. We're still
figuring that part out.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Okay, okay. The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine
Time four The four things you need to heads up
on to start your day.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
A major trial that to begin today in federal court
here in Oakland as Ford states.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
We are one of them, California, Colorado, Kentucky, and New Jersey.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
They allege that Meta purposely made its platforms addictive for
underage users.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
They're seeking financial damages that could reach one point four
trillion dollars.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
The other twenty five states that are suing Meta are
expected to have trials later on.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yep, I have claud what they're doing, all right?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Put your visa up this morning, vis lay up this morning.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
No.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
The Golden State Valkyries have done it again with their
seventy eight to seventy win over the Dallas Wings last
night Chase Center. They've secured a birth in the playoffs
for this second straight year. Keep in mind, this is
only their second year in the WNBA, so what they're
doing is very remarkable. Last night's win was their sixth
straight overall, and it was another sellout crowd at Chase Center.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Visa love up some drizzled to kick off your Tuesday.
Similar to yesterday, temperatures will remain in the upper seventies
to low eighties. They should increase a tiny bit more tomorrow,
but too crazy this week.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Hey cancer, busty, Hey, today is going to be an eight.
Your social calendar has been two full lately, and it's
low key burning you out. Saying no to some invites
is genuinely the self care move your soul has been
begging for. Your boundaries are glowing today. Cancers protect that
piece like it's your favorite cozy sweater.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Wow, what a problem to have too many funds, so
many invites.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Your social calendar is not overflowing right else, No.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
No, I'm not so empty, so empty.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Next on the JV Show, we're talking about this news
anchor that absolutely lost it on air. I'm just glad
we're not the only one. Grandma's details after a team
of Pola.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Were the base number onehit music station. Thanks for waking
up at the JV Show. I'm Selina and I'm just.

Speaker 7 (06:45):
Learning JV Show. I just heard what you guys were talking.

Speaker 8 (06:49):
About and wondering if anyone's go across any Instagram site
like this one called Healing Heart Medium.

Speaker 9 (07:00):
I came across it.

Speaker 10 (07:01):
It's an intuition test.

Speaker 8 (07:03):
She'll ask you if you see.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
A certain color inside my hand or a shade.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And I'm telling.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
You I did several of them and I kept getting
them right.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Oh my god, your psychic.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Healing Hearts Medium or something. Intuition test, you, guys, algorithms
different than mine.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Very different.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
There's a lot of creators who will, yeah, post these
videos and they're like, it's an intuition test, and basically
you have to like just guess. Like if they're either
like I'm about to pull a card from a deck,
guess my card and they give you like, I don't know,
thirty seconds or whatever, and then they pull it and
you know, it's just testing your intuition. Or I'm about
to I'm about to write, right, Or sometimes they're like
animal cards and they're showing all the animals.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Which one am I about to pick?

Speaker 11 (07:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:47):
The dog?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Right?

Speaker 3 (07:48):
No, you're wrong. Or I'm about to draw a letter.
Which letter am I going to draw?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Trust your intuition? I was thinking, Jay I failed.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
So there's all these different also practicing. Yeah I always
get this wrong. Yeah, I've gotten it right like one time.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Okay, so maybe you're not a psychic.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Because we had hoped I didn't.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I'd never claim to be psychic. The emma on instagrams
that I'm a witch.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Oh god, which I prefer. That's my working title.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I'll have you, I'll do well.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
See if there's any intuition witch tests?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
All right, Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
All right?

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Could you guys eat the beaver the host of Good
Day Detroit? Could you eat the beaver the host of
Good Day Detroit.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
It's a morning TV show in Detroit.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Obviously, they were discussing the show alone on History Channel.
It's a show where people are out surviving in the
wilderness and one of the hosts decides to ask the
others about just that eating the beaver.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Now they're ice fishing because everything is frozen, and you're
looking for fat and the beaver. Yea, the beaver.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
The beaver is.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
The most sought after. It is right, right, would you
do you think you could eat beaver fat?

Speaker 10 (09:04):
And then.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Well you can't eat disease animals.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Just all the guys just absolutely loses it.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
There's three of them there. God on Good Day Detroit.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Said the woman who was I haven't seen the video.
The woman who was asking this did she did?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
She she was in on it, like she got it,
like why he was losing it.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Or she didn't get you didn't get it.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
And later she posted I think a follow up on
Facebook saying that she learned something about.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
The different even more funny.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yes, she wasn't on it.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
No, she was not in on the joke and didn't
realize until later. Oh my god, double meaning beaver was
and one of the co hosts theres you could hear
could not control is after when discussing the fat and
the meat of the beaver, and it made everybody sick
and everybody everybody six. So I did want to ask

(10:09):
you guys.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Could you eat it?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
If you had to survive out in the wilderness? Could
you eat the beaver?

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
It's fatty, it's meaty, it's delicious.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I think I just go full on vegetarian at that.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Point, what are you going to describe to me?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
You're just trying to survive out in the harsh Alaskan
wilderness or something. You're going to be chomping on some
pine needles all winter. You're going to fight not during
the winter? Or are you going to find fish? Find
a beaver, fish, pescatar it's all frozen over, lakes, frozen over?

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Then goodbye world. Yeah, I don't think I can eat her?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Why not? It's a little critter?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
What about I didn't know what it was? A moose? Muffin?

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Could you eat the moose?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
That was actually one of her next questions after the
beaver was she was not not smuffing, but she asked
them next, could you eat moose?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
And the one guy, see he kept.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Laughing, Yes, if I didn't know what it was, and
it looked enough like chicken, I probably wouldn't I probably
wouldn't think about it.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
So survival on the line.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
You don't think you could eat some wild meat from
various sources?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I don't. I don't think I could if I knew
what it was.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
I also wouldn't be able to, like, you know, do
something to the animal and then like.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Cook it myself.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
So you're just gonna freeze and die out there.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I mean, I don't know, maybe your survival instincts will
kick in. Have you guys seen The Last House on Netflix?

Speaker 1 (11:32):
No?

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Is this new movie and we don't have to get
into the plot because he gives a part. But basically
this family has to like survive and the only way
they can is by like catching animals that like come
to their house. And one of them is like a skunk,
Like could you eat a skunk?

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Just sounds no, it seems stink gross.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
My son and I are reading my favorite book from
when I was when I was a kid, this book Hatchet,
and it's about this kid and he's involved in a
plane crash or whatever the pilot does.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
It's just him out there.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
The books are you reading your kids before bed?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Well, he's nine years old. He can handle this.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
And it's about a kid and he, you know, they
crash land in the like Canadian wilderness or something, and
all he has is a hatchet, and he's got to
go out there and survive, my god, on his own.
He's like, he's like a eleven year old kid or whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Twelve year old.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
I can't remember how old he's in the book, but
that's what we're And so my kids all fired up
on dude, Dad, we were out there, we could survive.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
We would do this, and we would do that. I'm like,
I don't know. I don't want to eat the beaver.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, I don't want to eat the moose muff and
I don't want to eat the beaver.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
But if you have you're out there in the wilderness,
try to survive on your own.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Maybe bring on the beaver rit stuff my face and
some beaver.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
The JV Show on wild ninety four to nine, we.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Have your five seconds of summer It tickets on stand by.
Does anyone still call them five sauce?

Speaker 3 (12:50):
No? No, okay, five sau do you?

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:54):
No, Graham, You've never said five sauce in your life.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
What the what are the members of their fan army
call themselves? You?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
You should know.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
That's why I said, Okay, it's not that, but we
have those tickets for you. On Standby Tuesday mornings, we
turn it over to Jess to talk to TV Jess.
What have you been watching?

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (13:09):
I finished watching finally the show Lets Marry Harry, which
is on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Harry Style Harry No No, No.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
No, No Harry Jowsey who is from like the Netflix
reality dating universe. Basically you can say, twenty women signed
up for this show.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
By the way, many people know who he is.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, he like super hot or something. Why do you
get his own show?

Speaker 6 (13:34):
People think he's hot, But also he he's known to
be a player. So I think people are like, oh, wow,
he's willing to settle down. Now, let's make another show
about a woman marrying him.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Basically, got it.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
So twenty signed up for this. They go to a
house and basically date him.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
You know what's weird about this though, So he brought
his friends along right to help him.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Decide, you know, like eliminate some of the girls. Girls.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Throughout the process, they're giving him advice One of the
friends that he brought along was his ex, which really yeah,
which which was kind of strange, But I guess some
of the women were like, Oh, I don't have an
issue with it.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
No, Like I'm it's not it's no big deal. I'm
glad that they have a good relationship.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
The camera.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Oh my god, you're bringing your ex to CHEO.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
So wouldn't that be kind of helpful, Like if you're
talking to the ex to get like a woman's perspective
on things and like why they broke up and what.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
He did wrong? Yeah, like what he's not good at,
like I would appreciate.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
But the woman isn't coming to the ladies and giving
them advice.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
The woman is just giving.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Like the ex is just talking.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
To Harry and being like, I like this one for you.
I don't like this one for you. I don't think
you mesh well with this one.

Speaker 10 (14:45):
I don't know I I personally, I mean, she does
have some valuable insight.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
I think also is awkward and weird.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
I think it's awkward and weird.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
But anyways, I want to talk about one.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
Of what I think is the most foul reality TV scenes,
at least that I've seen and I watch a lot
of realities to okay, and it's about the booger because
there's alert I guess you could say. There's a scene
on the show where Harry is like cuddling with one
of the girls, right like pretty sure. They're like on

(15:17):
a bed. They're cuddling and you know, he's getting to
know her. They're talking and at one point he picks
his nose.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
He literally he straight up goes in there right digs
in there while they're like yeah, he he out loud
says like, oh, got a booger, sticks his nose, takes
the booger out, and then he says, do you want
to eat it?

Speaker 4 (15:41):
No?

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Eat it?

Speaker 1 (15:42):
No?

Speaker 3 (15:43):
She says, how old is this guy?

Speaker 1 (15:45):
No?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Is he in second grade? No, she's an adult, she says.
She says, no, I'm not gonna eat your booger.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
You eat it first, and then I'll eat it.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
No, No, what's it in his own mouth?

Speaker 3 (15:57):
She did not eat it out of him?

Speaker 5 (15:58):
And they start to make out.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
I want to throw up.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Joe heard the show and I wanted to tell nobody
else talking about this.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Wha is the FCC is some violation of the Grossness Act?
Of nineteen forty six, because that's the disgusting.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Mind you went after her confessional.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
She like was she didn't regret it. She was like, yeah,
and I do no regrets.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
She would be no regards again, Oh my god, to eat.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
There's not someone who I love enough in this world
to eat their books.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
That's what I wanted to ask you, guys, BM, like,
is this like a hotness.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Skill, Like the hotness skill doesn't even apply here. You
walk away? Yeah, walk away.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
That's what I figured.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
My wife would faint.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Like legitimately, she would pass out and faint if she
saw that. Even if she just saw the pick and
the removal, my wife might faint and hit the floor.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
I think I could deal with him, Like if my
man wanted to pick his nose, fine, but go like
dispose of.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
It while you're cuddling.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Okay, not while I'm cuddling, but I mean.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Like face to face and he goes mining in his nose.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
But it's not like grounds for divorce.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
But if he's like, eat my boogers or we're getting divorced,
I'm sorry, then we're just gonna have to go our
separate way.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Get the lawyers.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yeah, I'll call them myself your.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Legal zoom right now and draft up the paper chatgy BT.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, I already have them. They're saved just in case you'll.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Break your for sure.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
This is what I was like.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
I was already shocked by the fact that this scene aired,
the fact that this even happened, the fact.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
That two people were involved willingly.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
But then I go to TikTok because I'm I'm I'm
looking through his page to see any updates because obviously
the show ended, but the reunion hasn't happened yet.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
Not yet.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Okay, wait, this is probably gonna be a spoiler that
he picked No. So basically, you can't have a woman
eat your booger and then not select her at the end.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
You not marrying the booger eater.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Well, of course, why would you want to marry that.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
But it's like you're putting her to the ultimate test
to see how inten she is.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
She and then she is that into.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
You that you will do that, But then how do
you ever kiss her again after that?

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Exactly, you want a woman who's going to stand her ground,
a woman with some dignity and self respect, you're supposed
to say.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
He literally put it in his own mouth, and then
they made out no, okay, you're gonna be more shook
it when okay. I'm looking through the comments of like,
you know, some of his some of Harry's latest videos,
they're not specifically talking about, you know, the booger, but
in the comments, people started talking about it and referencing
that scene. Most people shared are sentiment of being very

(18:48):
disgusted by this.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
But then there's the other side of people. How people that.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Were like, oh, I mean I kind of thought it
was cute, Like, I promise I've done weirder weirder than this.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, lay it out? What is it? I need to know?

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Somebody else had said, Am I the only one that
thought it was hot?

Speaker 11 (19:07):
Like?

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Why?

Speaker 4 (19:10):
I think there are two types of people in this world,
and most people are with us that are not booger eaters,
But there is that percentage of the population that are
boog eaters, and those are the people that were watching this,
like I think that's kind of hot, that's cute they
do that. I've never understood that. What no point in
my like, I wonder what that tastes like? Never not
even when else I heard their salty though it's disgusting,

(19:33):
like why your nose is just meant to trap all
the bacteria, all the gross stuff you're it's filtering all
the gross stuff you're bringing.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Throughout the day, and you're like, let me grab a
hold of this thing and you eat it. Oh no,
I'm grossed out.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Any So this is Let's Mary's Ry Hairy if you
care to watch them again.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
The season's wrapped, but the reunion is still making.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Sure everyone grow.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
Thought.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Trending is coming up neck hottest.

Speaker 8 (20:04):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Okay, I need you to go to JD Morning Show
on Instagram because Katy Perry and her boyfriend Justin True
Trudeau Trudeau did the most embarrassing, cringiest thing in a
public setting. You know how Justin's son. I think he
goes by Zave or something like that. He wants to be, like,
you know, an artist. He's a musician, so that we

(20:33):
played some of his songs before.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
We've played some Zave songs, yes, not like.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Not like on Wild, but I've played like little snippets
to see what you guys thought of it. You hated it,
thought it was stupid. I said, it wasn't that mad.
So Justin and Katie they're in a hardware store. This
is clearly in Canada, don't you know, And uh, Zave's
song comes on on the radio in the hardware store.
So this is them dancing, and everyone's like, oh my god,

(20:59):
what in the craze? Jesus is giving like parents trying
to be cool, and like Katie's like a bob in
her head, but looks ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Go back and watch this video with the sound on.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
I mean, the radio is not blasting as they're dancing,
so it's like they're dancing louder than the music is.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
It just looks so stupid.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
It's it's embarrassing. It's very cringe.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
I mean, I appreciate it you sport your parents. Yeah,
I mean, I want to know what Zave I think.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
I think that's how you pronounce it, yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Av, I want to know what Zave thinks about this.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
He reposted it. He loved it. Oh okay, he's just
as corny as dad apparently.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Well, I mean, I guess he's getting good publicity. It's
all about attention these days, and it's.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Katy Perry dance into your song. I guess it's kind
of cool. Got to get your attention really quick.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Hayden Panetier's autopsy is complete.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yesterday just one of those out there. Me and my
husband watched her Jay Shetty podcast. Remember this came out
three months ago. We talked about it briefly here on
the show because there was like there was a little
anecdote about her being eight ten years old and somebody
really close to her placed her in a bed on
a yacht and there was a naked celebrity there that
was like expecting things from her, and she was like,
absolutely not. We watched that entire podcast episode yesterday. It

(22:14):
was like a couple hours long. This poor girl has
been through so much, even as a child, like the
entire story even of her passing and like her you know,
her daughter, Like it is just so so tragic.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I'm like so saddened by this.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
You forget that she has a daughter with Vladimir Klitschko, right, yeah, boxer,
but he lives with the daughter from in Ukraine.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
There's a lot of.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah, there's just a lot of and if you hear
about why she had to give up custody and does
everything is just it's just it's so sad and sorry sad.
But yesterday, like I said, the Greenville County and Corner's office,
they did an autopsy, you know, she passed away in
South Carolina, and they found that there were no signs
of trauma that would that would have contributed to the death.

(23:00):
So it's pretty consistent with you know, the talk that
this was an accidental overdose. The actual cause and manner
of death still pending. The investigation is still active and ongoing.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
What do you what's your response to and I'm sure
people have sent it to you whatever. Immediately, the conspiracy
theories start flying the second that news of her passing.
It was already like, well, she was about to name
names of these big Hollywood A listers and out them
and suddenly look at what happened. I mean, it's like
this is the Internet, this is the social media world
that we live in today.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
But I mean that I didn't even think that was
a possibility. Like I thought, if anything, maybe had to
do with her on off boyfriend, this Brian guy that
I told you she was out in South Carolina with
that was That was my first thought, is because I
did know a lot about their you know, dramatic history
together as boyfriend girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
That was my first thought.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Yeah, And you know, he's just he's just not a
good guy, at least when they're together, from what I've
heard and from the things that she's talked about, you know,
on this podcast I was telling you about and even
at friends didn't like him. You know, I read that
this rekindling with him, like going to South Carolina and
spending time together, that she didn't tell anybody about it.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
It was like super on the low.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah, So I don't know, but yeah, they're going to
still be investigating this to come with an official cause
of death at some point.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Graham, what do you have for all? Right?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Climate scientists have been sounding the alarm for years and years,
but the moment Lake Powell runs out of water, you guys,
it's almost here, Well runs out of water not the
best way to put it, but the country's second largest reservoir,
which sits on the border between Arizona and Utah, is
about to hit water levels so low that its hydro
electric dam will no longer be able to produce electricity

(24:38):
over the weekend, the water level hit its all time
record low. We've had relatively small, very disappointing snowpacks over
the past few years on top of just overall drought conditions,
and it's hit it all time.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
It hit its all.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Time record low over the weekend and now just has
to drop another thirty feet for the dam to stop
functioning as a hydro electric dam. Of course, water will
pass through different channels to continue on his journey.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
But if it drops another.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
One hundred and twenty feet past that, the water will
reach what they call Deadpool.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Not the Ryan Reynolds, the Marvel character. Yeah, everyone loves Deadpool,
Not that guy.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
Deadpools when the water won't be able to flow out
of the dam at all, Now this is alarming.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Why, well, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
This dam and the Colorado River provides water to more
than forty million people across seven states, including California, Arizona, Colorado, California, Nevada,
New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming or all states that get
their water from Lake Powell. And if Lake Powell runs
out of water again, which is at the lowest level

(25:42):
it has ever been, we're in big trouble.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Bay Area.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
We do not receive much water from Lake Powell. Mostly
goes to southern California. But if Southern California suddenly can't
get water from Lake Powell, then they're gonna start needing
our water from northern California, where we split up into
two states.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
North California.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Put a big tariff on our water. It's gonna cost you. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
This is an alarming situation for obviously many reasons, one
of them being the drinking water for forty million people,
but also for agricultural purposes in California.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
That's where a lot of that water.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Goes is to growing crops, because we know California supplies
fruits and vegetables, have a huge percentage of it to
the rest of the country well and to the world.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
So here we go. This is a this is bad news,
you guys. Damn is a hoax. You guys right, a hoaxe.
The change is a hoax.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
It's not really right, is it.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
It's not happening. Well, the President says it's not.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
What does he know? All right?

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Coming up next on the JV show, We Got Your
Chance to win a Chuck Munch.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Four with the JV Show, Good morning to you, Jess.

Speaker 6 (26:59):
Floul situation that played out on the show, warning you.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
A booger that was can you say really quick, just
a booger that.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
Was eaten by someone and then I guess also eaten.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
By someone else because.

Speaker 12 (27:14):
They Oh my god, that was so disgusting.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I was early today and was like, oh, go get
me some McDonald's. I got time before work. I literally
got out of line because I'm so disgusted. I'm gagging
at this.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Oh God, sorry, gross, I can't even talk about right now,
I'm gonna gag again.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Just talk about the weather. Since the change something.

Speaker 6 (27:37):
Let me drink today, temperatures are going to stay the
same as they were yesterday.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Uh Warteners are like, I can handle all the Graham's
for jokes and the fart jars that starts talking about boogers.
That we have crossed the line, you guys.

Speaker 11 (27:52):
Good morning JB Show. This is Claudia from DeSoto, Texas,
and I had it turn y'all down for a few
minutes because I couldn't have about all that booger talk.

I love waking up and listening to y'all all the
way from De Soto, Texas.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
By Unfortunately I just checked JB Show now number two,
Big talk.

Speaker 6 (28:19):

worse it was for me that I was watching this
on a show.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
You at least you at least were just listening.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
To this, right, Clean it up. You don't need to
bring that to these airways.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
You loved it so much you want to talk about it,
and I live it. I was so shook it that
I wanted to bring it to this show. And now
that serves.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
As a warning so that you don't watch the show.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
You know, Javy Show just dropped to number three in DeSoto, Texas.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
You don't, jesus, I just likes this kind of stuff.
You remember that one time that we had her eat
those bean boozled jelly beans. Yeah, and she must have
got a booger one.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Right, that's where you can win a JV show chow
Ug mug.

you know what that word is? Leave your guests on
the talkback mic on the iHeartRadio app. Are you guys

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Twice that think I ever have miss.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Well that's what I mean, misplaced him. Yeah, normally I'm
the key keeper. I know where everything is. My husband
he wouldn't he had he would have no idea. But
I'm sure like once or twice I've probably misplaced there.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Good Morning JB Show.

Speaker 13 (31:07):
It's Sophia and Nana from NAPA and we think.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
The bleeped out word is we think you lost your
phone and that's always horrible.

Speaker 12 (31:19):
Okay, okay, bye.

Speaker 3 (31:22):

And they have like such good security there that like
somebody turned it in, they're a security founder.

Speaker 3 (31:47):

Oh my gosh. Best case scenario.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I know. Hi.

Speaker 11 (31:51):

out word is passport.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
That one.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
That one's a nightmare if you and then you can't
find your passport.

Speaker 2 (32:02):

Glasses popular guest.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
Yes, I've lost my glasses before, yep. And it's hard
because you don't have your glasses to find your glasses.

Speaker 7 (33:48):
Good morning, JV Show family.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
This is Okay.

Speaker 7 (33:50):

experience losing their luggage.

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Oh, thank god, that has never actually happened.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
It's never happened to you.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
No, No, I've never had my bag officially lost, but
I've had it misplaced where it didn't arrive on my
vacation until a day later. And thank god I put
a pair of swim trunks in my carry on, because
otherwise I would have been that devastrated because I can't
remember where we were.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
It was somewhere warm and tropical, though.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
Oh ruined my entire trip.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
I mean coming back from like Boston or something. I
think we couldn't like find our car seats. I mean,
who cares, But like my whole luggage with like everything
in there, and I'm on a trip and I need
everything in there, like I'm just gonna go home, yea,
my whole thing.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
I can't remember where we were.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
I feel like it was somewhere in the Caribbean and
it was like my bag didn't make it on the plane,
whatever plane we're on, or it got put on the
wrong plane, and they're like, well, yeah, it's got to
get rerouted from here to there, and we'll just call
you and Yeah, it didn't arrive till the next day.
I was like, how am I supposed to start my vacation.
I don't even have my toothbrush. Always put a pair
of swim trunks in your carry on if you're going

(35:32):
just in case. That way you can at least hang
by the pool and we'll have all your stuff. You've
got a little life act there. You welcome everyone and
we have some okay, first and sand Bruno was she
had the very first a correct answer this morning. What
she did was a luggage nice working do you're getting

(35:52):

and Hayward came with the correct answers this morning, so.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Did Sebastian and San Francis got that.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
Sebashi, Leo and San Jose had the correct answer. So
Carlos in San Carlos Jenna in South City.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
She said suitcase. Nobody calls it. I'm just kidding people do.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
That was actually good?

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Yeah, that was a great gus. Anyway, else's squeak one
and just that I didn't see the last minute.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
The other most popular guesses this morning teeth or tooth
a lot of people guessing teeth related to things mind
or temper.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
You don want to lose your mind or temper.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Kids was a very popular guest this morning. And losing
your kid never good.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
It might be like a nice full break. Yeah, just
for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Wallet probably the most popular guess this morning. Then pet
related things, your dog, your cat, car, You.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Ever lost your car?

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Uh no?

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Oh yeah in the parking lot you can just wander

Speaker 1 (45:27):
Of school today, keep this in mind. Who use the
fun things?

Speaker 3 (45:30):
Today's hot, is trending, coming up next, hottest.

Speaker 8 (45:35):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
All right, So, Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez have matching
tattoos now, so you know how she's overseas for her
Eternal Sunshine tour. Right and at a recent show in London,
fans noticed a new tattoo on her clavicle, which is
what jess.

Speaker 6 (46:00):
The bone that's connected to your should bone.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
Bones connected to your arm bone, your armbones, connected to
your elbow bone. You gotta get to the elbow, and
then your your wristbones, and then your knuckle bones, and
then your fingernail bones.

Speaker 3 (46:17):
So weird. It's a thing fear nail bones.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Don't worry about it.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
Yeah, So it's like like a you know, shoulder area
a little bit. You can see this photo jab Morning
Show on her Instagram story. So she has a new
tattoo there and it appears to read I do love you.
This is interesting because her old new boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez, has.

Speaker 3 (46:36):
The same exact tattoo.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
On his left collarbone, just a different font. His is
more like old English ye, but it says the same
exact thing, I do love you. So it seems like
Ricky has been had this tattoo, like he's had it
for a while, and then Ariana got hers to match his.

Speaker 3 (46:52):
But if this doesn't tell you how serious they are.
Plus they went Instagram official last week.

Speaker 6 (46:57):
Which can we talk about the fact that I don't
think did she ever go in like full on Instagram
official with SpongeBob, because I know I think she was
never showing him off.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
Like she is understandable why.

Speaker 3 (47:13):
He's very he's a He's just he's just a unique.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Everyone is unique in their own special right, See is
Ariana the new Jlo? Where like for years the thing
with Jaylo was like, you know, everyone's like, oh that woman,
she just can't be single. She's jemps from one relationship
to the other. I mean Jlo's been engaged fourteen times, been.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Married, yeah, a lot more times. But it's Ariana the
new Jlo.

Speaker 6 (47:38):
It just seems that way because it seems that, you know,
just a few months go by between her relationships.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
And she's not even that. It seems like there's a overlap.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
Yeah, and this is a quick timeline to a matching tattoo. R. Yes,
that's a big step in my mind.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (47:53):
I saw some comments saying like where are her friends?
Like why is nobody you know saying hey her, Oh
maybe this moving a little too past.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
I mean what everybody says, being that level of famous
is lonely, Like you don't have very many close friends.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
I can't annoint her.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
That's why she like lashes onto two men.

Speaker 4 (48:09):
She can't be the next j Low until we see
what happens here, this one goes south and then onto
the next guy immediately. Then I'm okay, what about the
last five.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
Where it was you know, onto the next one immediately,
the the next one, and the next one, the next one.

Speaker 4 (48:22):
Well, jay Loo's up to like twenty, so I mean
she's working her way up. I got to see what
happens with this one.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
Because Jaylo's also older, so she's had more a little
bit more.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
Did we make predictions on this one? How far this
one's gonna last? We did not feel like you should
through next year?

Speaker 3 (48:38):
I think through that through this entire year. Yeah, I
mean it's only a few more months.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
Left, a few months.

Speaker 3 (48:42):
I think they'll make it through this. Okay, what do
you mean? Do you want to give a breakup predictions?

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (48:48):
Or they go the distance, they get married, or I
don't know. I'm kind of thinking this one's this is
the one kind of think this might be it.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
You think so, at least in the noure, but long term.

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Like this, it's gonna wear off.

Speaker 5 (49:03):
It's gonna wear off.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Like I think by next summer they're done.

Speaker 5 (49:06):
I think they.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
November seven, I think they go through all next year.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
Whoa, that's a bold prediction.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
All right, lock it all, lock.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
It in, Lock it into our prediction journal really quick, Graham,
have you seen anything about Tom Brady's viral preseason rant No.
He posted this on his Instagram story on Sunday, and
he's basically calling out players in the NFL who don't
suit up during preseason and are looking for like the
easy way out. He said, preseason regular season. I never

(49:38):
wanted to be taken off the field. Practice makes perfect.
Too many people are looking for the easy ways out
these days. When you're a football player and its football season,
your job is to play football.

Speaker 3 (49:49):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
He thinks that even though it's preseason, it's still it's
still part of your job. It's still a game. You
should be suited up there and on the field. And obviously,
you know the opposites people if so. Opposite of that
is like, well, you're risking injury. Why not rest these
players for the regular games that actually do count. But
he's like, who cares if it's exhibition, Like, you should
be on that field playing. You need the practice, you
need live games, you need to feel that pressure.

Speaker 4 (50:14):
I think there has been a huge shift in football
where the preseason used to be taking a little more
seriously and more guys used to play. I understand the
argument rust your starters, and I also feel that about
training camp a lot of guys that are like.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
Well, they just sort of work down on the sidelines today.
Little you know, they don't. They don't.

Speaker 4 (50:31):
They keep them wrapped in bubble wrapped there for training
camp too. I feel like it's the whole thing's gotten.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
So aren't they supposed to be out there working out
though on practicing.

Speaker 4 (50:39):
Yeah, but you don't want them. You see these guys
getting injured at training camps. You're like, well, we don't
want that happening. We don't need them injured before the
season starts.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
So then it's just rest, don't move a muscle, don't
lift weights, you might throw your back.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Just just training camp is now just going big hammock.

Speaker 4 (50:54):
You just swing back and forth and take a nap
and read a book until the season starts.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
That way, you don't get injured.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
Grammy, what do you have inside?

Speaker 4 (51:02):
Trending Speaking of football, Niner fans, Just when we thought
the electrical substation was the only thing we had to
worry about, now a contract dispute with Christian McCaffrey just said,
hold my beer. We don't know if this is the
case or not, but some NFL insiders they are suggesting
it very heavily. That's because CMC has missed the last
week of practice. Talk about not you know, practicing in

(51:25):
training camp. Here's Christian McCaffrey. He's been missing a practice
because of what's listed as tightness, just like we don't
know of what just like general tightness, just tightness. Well,
NBC Sports football analyst Chris Sims and NFL insider Mike
Florio they think that it's his wallet that is feeling

(51:45):
the tightness and not any actual physical symptoms. But he's
effectively holding in right now as he tries to get
some more money. McCaffrey currently in the first year of
a two year, thirty eight million dollar extension he signed
back in twenty twenty four.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
That made him the highest running back in the league
at that time.

Speaker 4 (52:02):
But in recent weeks, I don't know if you guys
been watching a Falcons player Bjohn Robinson. He signed a
massive contract extension, so did line star Jamiir Gibbs. Now
they're making twenty two million dollars or more a year.
McCaffrey's nineteen million dollars a year average now is fifth
in the league. He's no longer the highest paded, he's
the fifth highest paid. And anybody that watched last season

(52:23):
knows that McCaffrey carried the entire Niners offense the entire
season and touched the ball damn near every play, whether
he ran the ball or cut the ball.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
He was the central figure because everyone else is injured.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
Well, we had a lot of injuries, but also he's
that good and he was healthy all last season basically,
So there are people and again these insiders suggesting that
it's some sort of contract situation that's playing out behind
the scenes and not quote unquote tightness.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
Yeah, I feel like it always comes down to the money.

Speaker 5 (52:53):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (52:53):
I mean, I don't blame him. You got to get
paid when you got to get paid.

Speaker 4 (52:56):
If you're putting your body through all that and you're
the central player basically carried.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
The entire CELLA know your word.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
But also here's the other side.

Speaker 4 (53:07):
You had just signed a contract extension not too long ago,
not big enough.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
No, right, then shouldn't you have got more? You should
have negotiated for more money that.

Speaker 3 (53:15):
You didn't know you're worth. Then now you do.

Speaker 4 (53:16):
Yeah, but how about play for the money that you
agreed to.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
Play for.

Speaker 5 (53:21):
The team needs you.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
So I am hoping because Christian McCaffrey seems like such
a great guy. Maybe it is just some tightness.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Yeah, he's just a little tight. Well, get into the
chiropractor and let's keep it moving.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
Like, come on, just tightness, you guys. I'm suffering from
some of that right now. Got back in the gym
yesterday for the first time. Oh for some general tightness.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Next on the JV Show, as everyone is settling into
this new school year, there is a teacher that's gone
viral for a few words and phrases that are bands
in her classroom.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
Just is going to share those with us.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
Next the JV Show. On Wild ninety, can.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
You hit the Harry Yes?

Speaker 6 (53:59):
Okay, if you listening right now think that you are
the biggest Harry Styles fan, then we need you to
leave us a talkback, letting us know what makes you
the biggest fan, because we are gonna be picking a
winner and one of you is gonna get flown out
to New York City to check out Harry Styles there.
But obviously it can't just be anybody that gets flown out.
It has to be the super fan. So if you're

(54:21):
Harry Styles a super fan, let us know on the
talkback Mike, convince us, yeah.

Speaker 4 (54:26):
Do that, and please do and enter because this is
not some big nationwide contest. This is a local this
is us. We the JV Show get in luck the
biggest Harry fan, So.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
Good luck to everyone leaving those talkbacks.

Speaker 9 (54:38):
That'd be Tuesday, guys, Edgar without the haircut, Selena, I
gotta give you some mad props. That Halloween costume idea
for you guys is amazing, probably one of the better
ideas anybody in that show has ever had. Can I
add a little something to it? Maybe put Graham on
the leash when you ask them to bark, that'd be great.
And also you should have given it a secret because

(54:58):
I'm not gonna mention any names, but somebody in the
New York market that always does your Halloween ideas.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
Oh my god, you're right?

Speaker 4 (55:07):
Oh man, okay, so do you want to Yesterday you
unveiled what you thought the JV Show should.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
Do is a group costs.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Even now, I'm wondering if we should even do it,
because I feel like, once we talked about it, like
what if this inspires everyone else to do it too.

Speaker 4 (55:19):
I don't think this is going to be the go
to costume of the year, but you got to tell
people what it is.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
My idea was Drake and you know, a couple of
goth baddies, me and Jess being the goth baddies. Of course,
Graham you would have to you know, Drake, we'd have
to get you some cornrows and you know, I know
someone who can do that for you.

Speaker 3 (55:37):
Got to grow out your hair a little bit.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
And also how long my hair have to be?

Speaker 3 (55:39):
Not long enough now?

Speaker 5 (55:40):
Yeah, and your Drake, your Drake bark was really good,
so like you have to be.

Speaker 3 (55:47):
I also don't want Graham barking for us, do you
know what I mean? Like, is that going to be weird?

Speaker 11 (55:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (55:53):
So maybe you're Drake Selena.

Speaker 1 (55:55):
Okay, yeah, I don't want to be d Easier to
do corn rows in your hair than.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
Miners longer, Yeah, true, I'll think about it.

Speaker 1 (56:04):
That would actually be pretty funny. Yeah, I could be
a goth baddy.

Speaker 5 (56:09):
I'll tease your hair and everything.

Speaker 6 (56:11):
All right, let's talk about you know, kids are back
to school, right and you know in the classroom, teachers
have to deal with a lot of different phrases that
they say that they're always blurting out in between class
particularly the things that go viral online. So I want
to go through some of the words in the phrases
that one teacher is banning from her classroom. She doesn't
want kids to say these things anymore.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
We're going to start it off with six seven because
you know, but but people nobody's still saying that.

Speaker 1 (56:38):
I feel like that, not even the kids, but my
kids don't even say it.

Speaker 6 (56:42):
I think when they kids the opportunity to, they do,
Like if six seven, they're not saying it at random
times now, but if the six to seven words are said,
then I think that there are still some kids.

Speaker 4 (56:56):
But it's like a it's like a low murmur, it's
like yeah, six seven, Like they don't they don't want
to be the one shouting and right it is.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
Not cool teacher says turn your books to page sixty seven.
They're not like yeah, I don't think teachers really.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
Have to worry about that one.

Speaker 5 (57:10):
Okay, well, that one's on the band list regardless. The
second one, which I am actually very curious to know if.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
You guys know this or have heard of it, we do.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
We're super cool. Quiet on the Creek totally yeah, Quiet
on the Creek.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
What does it mean? Graham. I don't know, just be.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
Quiet, you know on the want to disturb the around there.
Maybe you're hunting them, yeah, quite on the to be
really quiet to trick them into.

Speaker 3 (57:34):
Not that I'm pro hunting at all. I think that's
the saddest thing everybody.

Speaker 6 (57:37):
So this was created by Yeah creative, by Saucy Santana.
This is the phrase that was said that went so viral.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
You gotta be real on the creek.

Speaker 5 (57:49):
So I used to go fishing when I was a
little girl. You gotta be real quiet on the creek.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
Okay, yeah, we're pretty close being you don't care the fish.

Speaker 6 (57:55):
Sure, but I mean the kids aren't using it in
the sense of like, oh, we're going fishing, got it,
can't you're the critters. They're using it, and honestly in
any context, just like.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
Every other phrase that shouldn't teachers be embracing that one
then when you want the kids to shut the heck
up because it makes you a loud in class, quiet
on the creek, everybody on the creek, because.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
You the way you just said it. Yeah, okay, yeah,
we used.

Speaker 1 (58:17):
To put the quiet wolf up, you know, to get
the kids. You know, you make the little wolf. Did
you guys have the quiet wolf?

Speaker 5 (58:23):
No, I don't know what you're talking.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
We had the quiet wolf and you put your hand
and make it look like a little wolf and you
put it up, and that was the symbol everybody needs
to be quiet, the quiet wolf. And now you just
put your hands up and make it look like a creek.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
That was in the nineteen hundreds.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
Quiet on the creek, and well, quiet on the creek.
See I'm making a creek.

Speaker 3 (58:38):
So these are terms that are banned, yeah this year.

Speaker 6 (58:41):
But yes, the other one is more of a sound.
And oh my gosh, this sound annoys me every single.

Speaker 5 (58:49):
Time I hear it in a video.

Speaker 6 (58:50):
I'm sure if you've been watching anything on the internet lately,
you have heard this sound in a video at least once.

Speaker 2 (58:59):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (59:01):
And they're saying this like I R L yes.

Speaker 6 (59:04):
So in the video that this teacher posted, like the
kids are just yelling out every single word that that
she's saying, so like quiet on the creek, they were
all like, oh, yeah, go.

Speaker 5 (59:12):
On the creek, quiet on the creek and.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
Shouts far yea.

Speaker 3 (59:19):
So that one is also banned, sang it.

Speaker 6 (59:24):
And then this one is even more of a I
doubt you're gonna you guys are gonna understand it.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
What a.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
What do you have against us?

Speaker 5 (59:35):
As much time on the internet.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
We actually spend a lot of time on the internet
on TikTok Okay.

Speaker 5 (59:43):
Then brownie brownie batter totally.

Speaker 3 (59:48):
Like, yeah, so this is also on.

Speaker 6 (59:54):
The list of words that words or phrases that a
teacher banned for this year for her classroom brownie batter.

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
But you're not just saying it brownie batter.

Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
You're saying it like this.

Speaker 5 (01:00:05):
Brownie batter, brownieat batters?

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
What brown batter?

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
I can't even do it? But why?

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
But why?

Speaker 6 (01:00:13):
This just went viral because of one influencer that likes
to change her voice to that specific tone.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
I don't even know what. It's like a character she
does or something. Yeah, batter, browniet bad, brownie batter. So
then I think I nailed it.

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Kids learned how to do this and now are saying
it just randomly.

Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
Now think about it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:35):
These, I mean, these classrooms are just filled with kids
blurting things out. Now imagine hearing everything that we just
went through, but like throughout for hours.

Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
Throughout, I would annoyed, annoyed.

Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
Yeah, so I guess only one of those that I've heard,
you know, and I do the school pickup that i've
Last year, every kid running around was the six to seven.
I have not heard them running, you know, run around
being faugh. I haven't heard that yet. But I'll keep, guys, okay, keep.

Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
Yeah, maybe you'll hear a couple of Brownie batteries.

Speaker 10 (01:01:10):
If they didn't already, they will now because just told
everybody of speaking of this younger generation, you know, you
know a lot of times we'll talk about like how
they know that we're the old you know, things that
we do, the way that we text, or you know,
things in our phone emojis is a really big one.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
I I over the weekend, I tried something that we've
discussed before on the show that the youngs do.

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Okay, and uh, I don't think I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
I think I'm gonna make the switch back, but I'm
gonna explain what it is.

Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
I'll share that with you next.

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 14 (01:01:41):
Hey, y'all, just wanted to let you guys know how
you guys do those like sign readings every day. Yesterday
you did Gemini and I was genuinely surprised by my
partner with some new headphones. So you guys have got
me believing your little sign readings now and then thanks y'all.

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
How about that spot on, Yeah, yesterday's horoscope was that
behind the scenes, your partner's quietly planning something for you,
and just act surprised and you know, and be thankful
that you're being loved. And these we've had a lot
of people, actually I haven't been able to play all
the talkbacks a lot of people. They've been really resonating
these horoscopes and wanting to know where we get them from.

Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
And I write them myself. So wow, that turns out.

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
We were just talking about this teacher who has gone
viral for certain words and terms that our bands in
her classroom this year.

Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Jess, can you give us a few of those.

Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
Six seven Quiet on the Creek brownie batter.

Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
And Ronnie.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Hi, Graham, Hi ladies, This is Karina from Walnut Creek
and I was just listening to Graham talk about.

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
The Quiet Wolf and in my time, it was quiet Coyote.
So just wanted to share that a whole bit bit
of information. You guys, have a great day. Bye, Okay.
I think I've heard of the coyote that sound quaie coyote.
I didn't do that when I've seen other kids. Ye
never heard at creek.

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
Yeah that's different than quite on the creek. But quiet
coyote or quiet wolf.

Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
Yeah. Okay, good morning jav show. Okay, So I have
to say that my nine year old daughter has been
saying fun all day long at home and I'm just
so sick of it.

Speaker 11 (01:03:22):
And she thinks it's the funniest thing ever, and I'm
I just want that to go away now because it's
so annoying.

Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
Wait, this is hilarious. I've never heard a kid like
say this.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
Oh, it's about to start happening.

Speaker 11 (01:03:35):
Okay, this is dancy for me and city and I
have a suggestion regarding the band words.

Speaker 14 (01:03:41):
I think as parents just have to get on board
and start annoying the kids with saying all those phrases,
and I guarantee they'll stop saying.

Speaker 8 (01:03:51):
It, just like six seven.

Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
It works with my ten year old, trust me.

Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
Wait, that's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
The teachers, all the teachers that are struggling with you know, kid,
it's disrupting class and saying these words. Why don't you
start saying and working it and working them into your curriculum.

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
It's not gonna be cool anymore. They're not going to
say it.

Speaker 4 (01:04:08):
Last year, the death nail for six seven was when
all the adults dressed up as that for Halloween. Do
you remember that someone had a six on their shirt
and the other person had a seven? And when all
the grown ups are dressing up as six seven, that's
when the kids are like, oh my god, we just
stop this thing. The adults are doing it. So this year,
dressed up as Brownie batter, Brownie adder and whatever and

(01:04:29):
something like that, and then that will effectively kill whatever
that thing is. I don't know how you dress up
as fuh hilarious?

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Do you figure that out?

Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
Do that?

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
And then that will kill it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
We got to spread the word to all the futures
art Unite, start using these terms really quick. Over the weekend,
I did something that we've previously discussed on this show
that you know, the younger generation is doing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
Not drinking.

Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
Uh no, I drank, But it's one of those things
that we've you know, every now I'm now and again
there's like a new way that the younger generation can
tell that you're a millennial or and it's the way
you uh, the way you text, or the emo she
set you used to the way you dress. But we've
talked about if you're older, you use capital letters. If

(01:05:16):
you're younger, they text or type in all lower case.

Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
And I did I notice?

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
As I was texting my daughter, I was like, yeah,
she doesn't use a single capital letter. And here I am,
the start of every text message is like a capital
and then I'm still using punctuation, and so then there's
a capital after that.

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
I was like, you know what, let me just go
into my settings. I turned off the auto cats.

Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
And it looks so weird, I instantly felt, and it
looked like I was a kid, just like texting.

Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
And then it's actually really annoying because here I am
an adult trying to send emails and I need capital letters. Okay,
this is for work, these are for various you know,
companies and things. And then it's annoying that every single
time having to like manually hit the uppercase to make
it look professional.

Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
I mean, it's just it's I have to make the
switch back. I can't keep it like this. I cannot
live like this.

Speaker 4 (01:06:08):
I'm not getting on board with that. Did the young
side you try it out? I know they largely abandoned
all punctuation. But commas are important, Yeah they are. Yeah,
they don't use that because sometimes you need a comma
to differentiate the two parts of a thought or something
in a sentence and or a list or something, and
it won't make sense without it. It'll like the interpretation

(01:06:29):
of the text can be drastically different than what you're
saying if you don't use that comma or.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Maybe a period.

Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Yeah, they don't.

Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
I feel like if anything that look out that they'll
just like hit send and send you like twenty different
text messages.

Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
Did your daughter notice? No, she did not notice. So
do you kind of feel like you did it for nothing?

Speaker 5 (01:06:47):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Switch back?

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
Well, yeah, I switch back. I'm going back to the
adult side.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Coming up next here on the JV Show, I want
to talk about a huge event coming to the Bay.

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 12 (01:07:02):
Morning is to see it from San Francisco. Selena, have
a question, because my daughter is a year older than yours,
are they very much vocal about oh mom, the older
people do this, or millennials do this like calling you
out on your outfit choices or what we're wearing.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
It's fun, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Going shopping with our daughters?

Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
Yeah, my life is just like one big roast session,
like about everything? Was it?

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Has it always been like that? Did we do that
to our parents? I wonder that. I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
I just remember thinking like, yeah, I'm embarrassed with my parents.
I remember, but I didn't sit there and question their
fashion choice. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
I definitely thought it and I felt like everything they
did was embarrassing and super cringe, but I wasn't as
vocal about it.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
I wasn't sitting there like roasting them on the daily.

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
We've empowered this new generation, and we've been too soft
on them that they feel that they can freely just
criticize us.

Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
I think if we had tried that, we would have
gotten a smacking.

Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Probably, Well we should do it back to them. We
should start roasting our own kids.

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Do that all the time. Okay, yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:08:02):
It just doesn't hurt them as much as Yeah, they
got thick skins days. Hey Graham, are you going to
be taking your son Ford to collect a coon?

Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
What is collecticon?

Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
It's this major Pokemon focused event coming to the Sanmtea
County event Center.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Duh next month. You know your son's obsessed with Pokemon.

Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
He is in his Pokemon era.

Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
Why don't you throw on that Charzard costume you got
hanging up in your closet.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Didn't go to Collecticon?

Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
I is that something that they encourage people to do?

Speaker 6 (01:08:31):
The Yeah, your unless your favorite Pokemon is like Jiggly
Puffy Squirt, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
Bulvosor obviously Yeah, I don't know how to do this
as a squirdle, but yeah, I'm hopefully he doesn't find
out about.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
It because you said it was in San Jose, Salmonteo.

Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
Oh, Samittao, Salmonityeo. Okay, that's a little closer away from me.

Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
The Sanmaiteo County event Center. That's in Sanmonteo. I'm supping.

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
Yeah, okay, somewhere in San Mateo County.

Speaker 4 (01:08:55):
Yeah, I would hope so that would be something he
would absolutely lose his mind for. But that and my
wallet would absolutely lose its mind because one thing I've
learned about this new Pokemon era is that everything is expensive,
and he just wants to buy more and more stuff.
And these kids open these packs of cards, and ninety
nine point nine percent of the cards are just straight throwaway.

(01:09:16):
They don't care about them. They're only looking for like
the rare and valuable ones.

Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
Right do you spend all this money?

Speaker 4 (01:09:22):
So when you get a pack of cards and there's
nothing good in it, they literally just cast it aside
like it's they just don't care, not even worth keeping, Selena,
They don't even it's like, don't even oh those.

Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
Cards after your dad spent his hard earned money on
those pack of cards.

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
Yeah, so they're only looking for the very valuable collectible ones.

Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
Well they're going to be. Everything else is trash.

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
And then if you want to buy the individual ones
that are these collectible ones, get ready to really open
your wallet because the price of Pokemon stuff has shot.

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
Through the roof lately.

Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
Oh yeah, absolutely, So.

Speaker 4 (01:09:54):
I love that he's into a hobby that doesn't involve
a screen. Love that, but my wallet doesn't love it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:59):
Yeah, just get him the fake ones.

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
No, no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
They know how to distinguish those that age yeap very easily.

Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
It's never mind, Graham, what do you have? And by
the way, Collecticon just you know. September twelfth, thirteenth.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
And it's all Pokemon.

Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
No, there's gonna be different. It's like an an whole anime.

Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
You know, Pokemon is a big thing, but there's going
to be other things there as well, and celebrity guests.

Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Oh, I'm sure that will be very large event.

Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
I wanted to know if you ladies would pass the
military's new body composition test. Apparently all departments of the
military have adopted the new official test. This was put
forth this year by the Department of Defense and their
new military body test. Now, in the past, they would
put you on the scale and do some other things.
I'm trying to figure out your percent of body fat

(01:10:47):
and see if you are fit enough and have the
right body composition.

Speaker 1 (01:10:51):
To be in our armed forces. Now they've changed it.
Listen to this. It's a new height weight measurement.

Speaker 4 (01:11:01):
Your waist measurement they take that must be less than
half of your height, So the distance around your waist
has to be less than.

Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
Half of your height. Would you ladies be able to
pass this test?

Speaker 4 (01:11:15):
And I bring this up to you guys, because it's
a little easier for me to pass because I'm six
to two and three quarters.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
I've got a little more height to work with.

Speaker 4 (01:11:23):
Now, you ladies are tipping the height index at four
eleven and five to two five one five feet sure,
four eleven.

Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
And three quarters and just your house talk five to two. Now,
I'm not gonna ask you don't.

Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
Accuse her of lying about her height?

Speaker 10 (01:11:35):
Like?

Speaker 3 (01:11:35):
Why does it only mean?

Speaker 4 (01:11:37):
Because every time you and I take a picture together,
you could I could be seated and or standing and
I'm still a foot tipe.

Speaker 3 (01:11:44):
It hasn't changed. It's still five feet.

Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
Four eleven feet okay, okay with shoes on?

Speaker 4 (01:11:51):
Would you and I'm not asking you guys to shout
out your waist measurement, but do you You guys got
to know what it is and then know your total
inches in height?

Speaker 1 (01:11:59):
Could you serve in our military?

Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
I couldn't even tell you how many inches? But I
just just based on how I feel, I'm gonna go. No,
I would not make the cut, Jess, I feel like
you would.

Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
I might.

Speaker 5 (01:12:14):
I just I can't remember the last time I've measured
my waist, so I do know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Based on just like teeny tiny waist, women's jeanes don't
typically go by uh.

Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
Like a like a waist.

Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
They don't go by a number.

Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
No, I mean like sound like the European ones do.

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
But if you're just going to irregular for every twenty one,
which isn't exist, do you just have regular sizes one.

Speaker 6 (01:12:37):
Which I think I want to say one is twenty
four or zeros twenty four, so then just go up
from their twenty four to twenty five twenty six.

Speaker 4 (01:12:46):
Yeah, we might be making sure that you don't know, well,
men's pants are you know? For example, I wear like
a thirty three waist and a thirty four length, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
And those are just inches. You guys don't do that
metal no us, and especially.

Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
For length, like, there's nothing that really indicates what the
length is of our plans, so we just have to
especially for us that are on the shorter side, we
have to just hope hold that they are not super long.

Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
It's almost as if they could give you an exact
measurement then you would just know, but that'd be silly,
right yeah, right, So.

Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
Then you have too many options. That's doing too much.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Well, I'm gonna do the math online because you're again.

Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
This is the new Department of Defense Military Body Composition Test,
and it is a waist to height ratio and This
is going to be applied to everybody in all the
armed forces. Your waist measurement must be less than half
of your height. So if I were a thirty three
and then okay, but I'm six two and three quarters right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
So six the toms seventy two plus two point seventy five.

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
That's a total of seventy four point seventy five inches
at minus thirty threes forty one.

Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
Yeah, so I passed.

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
I passed.

Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
Nice, nice work.

Speaker 6 (01:13:55):
This doesn't seem like a very I don't know, like
a good It's just a nicer way of fashion.

Speaker 4 (01:14:00):
They say this is the more accurate way because when
they just weigh people, they weren't getting When they were
just taking a weight and a height, I guess it
wasn't giving them. Everybody's body composition is different. That's not
factoring in whether or not somebody's made up of more muscle.

Speaker 6 (01:14:16):
Than But I guess somebody could be fit and still
have like a wider like a rib cage, or like
just like a wider, wider set of a waist.

Speaker 3 (01:14:26):
Yeah, that's what I have.

Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Your ribs at your waist, shorteness like you to.

Speaker 3 (01:14:33):
Do a little bit more. I do wear high waist
jeans all the way up to your ribs. Sometimes, mind
your business, you do you all right? Today's hot is trending?
Is coming up next, the hottest.

Speaker 8 (01:14:48):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
So human remains found near Nancy Guft home. So authorities
recovered what appears to be human remains about fifteen miles
from Nancy's home there in Arizona, in a very remote
area of the desert, only accessible by a long hike.
Now that sounds like a place where someone who kidnapped
her would probably go and take her and bury her.

(01:15:19):
The remains are bleached white bones. According to this report,
This occurs when ultraviolet rays from the sun breakdown the
organic components of the bones, resulting in a loss of
color and turning them white.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
That also means they've been there for a really long time.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
So according to the Sheriff's apartment, they are definitely not
Nancy's remains, which is crazy. There are still zero leads
in finding finding Nancy and figuring out who who kidnapped her,
Like this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
In twenty twenty fix, I'm to the point where I
don't think we'll ever know.

Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
You don't think something is fully a cold's case.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
I don't think that there is any.

Speaker 4 (01:16:00):
Well, I guess there is still some motivation out there
to try to collect some money from the family somehow.
That's the only thing, the only motivating factor. But I
think the people that were if you know, were to
believe out, you know, all the narrative on it that
people kidnapped her for ransom, but then she passed away
while they were well she was you know, yeah, while

(01:16:21):
they had her. I don't think those people. I think
they set out to do one crime, I didn't realize
they were about to do another. And I don't think
they ever want to get caught for that. Yeah, So
I don't think. I don't think they're going to be like, Okay,
now I'm going to talk if you pay me that
I been coined or whatever. I think it's I think
this is it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
I don't even think there's motivation for ransom at this point,
because if the family didn't pay up, you know, in
the very beginning, when she was alive and had a
chance to get her back, I mean, would they pay
now for the closure?

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
I think as a family, you would, Well, then why
haven't they? That's the thing, you know, who knows?

Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
All right, let's talk about the new Disney legend. So
D twenty three just went down, which is the ultimate
Disney fan event in Anaheim. They do this, I want
to say, a couple of times a year where they
preview upcoming movies and shows and experiences and things that
are coming to you know, their theme parks. Well, this
D twenty three they inducted eleven honorees as Disney Legends,

(01:17:18):
and Hathaway was honored at this event as a Disney
legend twenty five years after the Princess Diaries, So that
was really really cool. Dwayne Johnson is now an official
Disney legend. Obviously, he has been in all the Moana
films and he also did Jungle Cruise.

Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
And then the Jonas Brothers Jonas Jonah's brothers were honored
at as Disney Legends.

Speaker 5 (01:17:43):
Well, yeah, from Brisney Camp Rock.

Speaker 3 (01:17:45):
You know their history with that.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
I guess I didn't know this, but Nick also played
Chip from Beauty and the Beast on Broadway at some
point in his career.

Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
I don't know, don't remember.

Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
They have a dhole little cup Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
Did he dress up like a cup or did they
have a cup on stage held like like a puppet
and he just voiced it?

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
Probably I think he had to dress up as a cup.
I don't hold me on that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
I don't know, but they have deep connections to Disney
and so they were honored as well. Other honorees include
Lynn Manuel, Miranda.

Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
Oh, okay, he was honored, Bob Igrewho I think is like.

Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
The CEO of now current owner of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
Something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
And then a bunch of other people who I am.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not familiar with these people.
Jerry Bruckheimer, Eric Goldberg, Kim Irvine. Congratulations to them. Only
three hundred and twenty nine people have ever been honored
as a Disney Legend since this began in nineteen eighty seven.

Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
That's not a lot big deal, yep, Grant, what do
you have?

Speaker 4 (01:18:41):
Move over cyclo and noro and salmonella outbreaks. There's another
virus seeing a surge right now, and that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
One is West Nile Virus.

Speaker 4 (01:18:50):
Experts are saying they're saying a huge uptick in the
number of cases because climate conditions have been really favorable
to mosquitos, and there are a whole lot more mosquitos
this year than past year.

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
And West Nile we know spread by mosquitoes, and.

Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
It's actually spread by mosquitos that have bit an infected.

Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
Bird and then by a human. That's the method of transmission.

Speaker 4 (01:19:12):
Thirty people have been sick and so far in California
with West Nile, which is apparently triple the average number
for this time of year, and sadly, so far three
people have died.

Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
I think that's nationwide from West Nile this year.

Speaker 4 (01:19:25):
They say that the total number of West Nile virus
cases is probably massively higher because eighty percent of people
that get the virus won't have any symptoms, so a
lot of people have wes Nile or have gotten West
Nile and had no idea. About twenty percent of the
people get a fever know that their actual six start
experiencing some other symptoms. They say one percent of West

(01:19:46):
Noile cases are neuro invasive, which means the virus starts
attacking your nervous system.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Those ones for sure get counted in the tally.

Speaker 4 (01:19:52):
Because the symptoms are very aggressive and oftentimes you're in
the hospital from those Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
So just of those things that we were vaccinated for
as like children.

Speaker 4 (01:20:02):
I don't know if there's a West Now vaccine or not.
Great one of those things that probably yeah, I don't know.
Those pesky mosquitos, you can't seem to get rid of them.
But the cyclo, the Noro, Salmonela, and now West Nile
are the four things. I also talked about that flesh
eating bacteria that was having a year or two twenty
twenty six. So maybe those five things are what we've
had to contend was so far this year.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
The year's not over yet, really, Yeah, back.

Speaker 3 (01:20:24):
In your bubbles?

Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
Yeah, quarantine yep.

Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
The JV Show.

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
I'm Selena, and we have your chance right now to
win this trip to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Zara Larson, Cardi, b Yep, BTS, Snoop Dogge, who else,
Jess Bensim Boom.

Speaker 3 (01:20:42):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
Yeah, we're talking airfare, hotel, grand transportation tickets.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
To both nights of the festival plus one thousand dollars. Ye, Graham,
do you have the keyword to win?

Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
It's easy to remember, you guys. It's festival. Text the
keyword festival to two hundred two hundred. You might be
like one of our other local Bay Area winners that
won at the end of last week because they texted
the keyword two utter two hundred and they won that
incredible package of awesome things festival to two hundred two hundred.

Speaker 15 (01:21:09):
Good luck, Good morning, JV Shows said. He said from
the Graham, I thought you had plans for your birthday.
I thought you were going to go see Noah Con.
What is that on the twenty second or on the
twenty first. I remember you saying that let's go Leo's no.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
Regards Leo season, maybe Leo Season.

Speaker 4 (01:21:27):
Yes, I am going to That will be sort of
my birthday celebration. I don't have any plans on my
actual birthday, which is Saturdays. My kid's got like a
fall ball, little league game, all this stuff. But this Friday,
Noa Con at Oracle Park, I'm definitely going to be
in the house for that should be an awesome show.
Although he posted I think I saw last night or
this morning. I think he just is showing San Diego

(01:21:47):
and he's feeling a little sick.

Speaker 6 (01:21:49):
Oh no, on your birthday, that's gonna progress throughout the week.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
I would be devastated. Hopefully he gets better. That guy's
tour has been absolutely crushing it. Move over air as tour.

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Move over Well, if that doesn't work out, Graham and
you don't get to see Noah con you can always
jump on Jess's train.

Speaker 6 (01:22:07):
Yeah, you own your own train, uh No, but for
one day it'll feel like it because I'll be on
Caltrain's Reggaeton theme train.

Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
You can come with us to ram on that. By
the way, you'll have fun. You'll have to be fun regard.

Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
But that's also for I say, everybody wants the pregame
for the concert and ride down there and then you know,
get to pull the train whistle.

Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
Well, I feel like dancing is a requirement.

Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
It is.

Speaker 5 (01:22:28):
It's encouraged, acquired, got it.

Speaker 6 (01:22:31):
But you could win some cattle g merch, which sounds
like a really great way to sign off your weekend.
So yeah, I will be on that Caltrain Reggaedon train.
We're gonna be leaving the San Francisco station at four
fifty five. It's gonna be trained one forty eight. It's
gonna be so fun and honestly the perfect way like
an uber. That's gonna be boring and expensive, extensive. So

(01:22:53):
come with us, cal Trains Reggaeton theme Train, go to
caltrain dot com, slash Levia and.

Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
Do the train whistle one more time.

Speaker 3 (01:22:59):
Whoa, whoa, there it is. Have Has any one of
us gone to see The Odyssey or Spider Man? Yet?

Speaker 13 (01:23:07):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:23:08):
I never went to go see toy Story five guys?
So much catching up to do?

Speaker 3 (01:23:13):
What dang? Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:23:16):
Well you two, I haven't either. I haven't seen the
Odyssey or Spider Man. But how annoyed would you be
if you go into the movie theater and this is
what you see? I saw this video of an influencer.
She goes to see the Odyssey, right, and it's a
long movie. I don't have the exact times, but in
her in her video, she said, like POV, the movie
is three hours long.

Speaker 3 (01:23:35):
So what does she do?

Speaker 2 (01:23:36):
And she's gonna be sitting there for three hours? She's like, well,
I might as well take advantage of me just sitting here.
So she pulls out her skincare and she pulls out
her my cellar cleansing water, and she's taking off her
makeup of wiping down her face and then she sprent
spray some facial mist on there, and then she applies
some net cream and then some density restoring ice cream
in a full collagen sheet mask to lock it all in.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
I stop it, knock it off.

Speaker 3 (01:24:02):
The movie theater.

Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
The thing you were doing while you were at the
movie the movie.

Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
Yes, phone you know, facing or she's recording herself in
the theater, doing this in her entire skincare routine.

Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
That's annoying because the phone is lit up. Yes, while
you're selfie recording.

Speaker 5 (01:24:17):
I'm not surprised. We're in the age of influencers.

Speaker 6 (01:24:19):
Pretty I see so many videos that people post about
doing this exact thing, like on an airplane, which I
guess you have.

Speaker 3 (01:24:25):
That doesn't bother me as much.

Speaker 5 (01:24:27):
But at the movie theater, that's just taking out one
step too far.

Speaker 1 (01:24:31):
It bothers me that you're recording it on the plane.
One thing. If you're just doing it, but you're also
recording it, I'm more annoyed.

Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
That doesn't That doesn't bother me.

Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
Just something about you know, being on the phone in,
but also everybody knew you just don't do that.

Speaker 6 (01:24:44):
Something about I feel like that's not a place where
you want to do your skincare because there's just so
much must.

Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
In, a lot of cough circulating around.

Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
Taking to your faith mask.

Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
Yeah, and then you're stealing it on there with the
what kind of spray at the end?

Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
There's too many things that I went through and she
had a lip mask on as she was eating her snacks.

Speaker 3 (01:25:07):
God, the whole thing just.

Speaker 5 (01:25:08):
I mean, do your skincare?

Speaker 1 (01:25:09):
Just not the do you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:25:11):
Let me ask you, ladies, because obviously you know my answer.
What's what's your interest level in watching somebody wash their face?

Speaker 15 (01:25:18):
Zero?

Speaker 3 (01:25:19):
Thank you wash it?

Speaker 13 (01:25:21):
Zero.

Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
I'm interested in the products that they're talking.

Speaker 1 (01:25:24):
About, but like, but why they don't work at the
end of the day, it's all the same stuff. It's
just that's all the same.

Speaker 3 (01:25:31):
I don't know. It just makes me feel like I'm
not doing enough.

Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (01:25:36):
I just save the video regardless.

Speaker 6 (01:25:38):
There's so many things saved on my TikTok that I
thought I was going to go back to so I
could go by the.

Speaker 3 (01:25:43):
Products you never do.

Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
Someday I'm gonna learn to scrub my face like this
one influencer.

Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
Oh the way she scrubs her.

Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Face, Like what, Yeah, it's so Graham, you have a
very important shout out to give.

Speaker 1 (01:25:55):
