Speaker 1 (00:00):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Happy Friday to you Where the JV Show. I'm Selena
ChEI is not in today. Where is she?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
By the way, She's not here, going on a trip.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Do we know where?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
She said? Vegas?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Thanks too.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
She's going to Vegas, probably sit in a hotel room
and not do anything like all the other trip.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
She goes very far off the strip and watch.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
A couple movies.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
First talk back of the day.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Here we go, Good morning chat, Happy Friday.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
Stop.

Speaker 6 (00:30):
It's sure boy from the far Away, the one that
only listens on Fridays due to the chug Will game.
Let's get it, hope any of them girls drinks except
from my boygrad.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Just get it. Get Wow, Let's get it. Let's get it.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
That's America against us.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Favorite game, the JV Show Chug Wheel Game will be
coming up at eight twenty this morning. Can ask a question,
do we ever decide? Because this week's a featured item?
A featured item alert you guys is Doctor Pepper and Butter.
When you brought this up yesterday or the day before,
I can't remember, did we decide if the butter is
getting melted and poured into the doctor pepper and then

(01:09):
you chug it that way, or do you just have
to take a bite out of the butter and then
wash it down with some doctor pepper.

Speaker 7 (01:17):
I'd rather do the bite, just because I know that
it'll be less butter.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Than if Graham melts the whole stick.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I'm not melting the whole stick. I don't mean something
dying up here of a heart attack.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Okay, okay, then never mind.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I mean even a half stick of butter.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Half believe that Jess would prefer to just bite.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I'm shame not to be like, that's gross, Jess. I
can't even look at you the same. You're a butter eater.

Speaker 7 (01:44):
You watch those videos. I've never bought a butter like that,
but I just I don't trust that Graham's not gonna
melt the full stick. That's why I was like, Okay,
at least I can control my bite.

Speaker 8 (01:54):
No, we're definitely not doing a full stick.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I don't want to do this at all.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Why are either.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Knock it off?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And I just feel like chet, he's not even here.

Speaker 8 (02:03):
It's all off balance, everything's out of whack.

Speaker 7 (02:05):
We shouldn't even been playing, honestly, Marcury Sterling retroche. Yeah,
there's that.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Hopefully we win the game and nobody has to chuge.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Sure, that's a good point.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
That's also true The JV Show on Wild ninety four
to nine.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Time for.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
The four things you need to heads up on to
start your day.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Happy Friday. A couple of things on my end that
you need to know about for the weekend. Lil Wayne
is performing tonight at the Conquered Pavilion. Nice are still
tickets left, and.

Speaker 8 (02:32):
Spider Man Brand New Day is now out in theaters.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, that's gonna be big. He's back, you guys.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
The forty nine Ers resigned Deevo Samuel yesterday to a
one year contract worth up to seven million dollars. Devo
spent last season with the Commanders after the Niners traded
him away, but with major concerns over Rickey Pearsoll's knee injury,
I think the Niners felt like they needed to add
some depth at wide receiver. It's gonna be interesting to
see how much he fits into the offense this season,
but Niner fans excited to have him back.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
I know I am.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
I'm just bumming because I gave away my debo.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Jersey already oh wow, Graham.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Wow, he left and.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I didn't think he was ever coming back. So it
was like, what am I clinging on to this thing for?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Do you really have a Devo jersey?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Well it was like it was more like a shirt.
It was a Deebo shirt. Okay, it was like a
shirt jersey. Yeah, jersey. Is that a thing? Whatever it is,
I don't have it anymore.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
Enjoy another nice day in the eighties. It's gonna be
a little windy in the afternoon, and then tomorrow and
Sunday it's going to be hot.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
You guys, highs are going to be in the mid nineties.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Pay cancer, busty good. Today is going to be an
eight If a junior colleague is looking to you for guidance,
don't ignore them.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Your nurturing cancer energy is made for this.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Share what you know generously, because this mentorship plant you're
watering now it's going to bloom back into your life
in the most unexpected ways.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
That good karma. Yeah, all right, cancer besties, that's great
news for you.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
To the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine where.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
The Bay's number one hit mu Siccason, Happy Friday. Thanks.
We're waking up with the JV show.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I'm Selena, all right, a little bit of Damn Nature.
You scary, you guys, because listen to this damn You're
scary barrakuda. Addition, this woman not really a woman, girl
thirteen years old. She's on vacation with her family in
the Turks and Caicos. That sounds nice right now. I'm
ready for a little vacation. And she said she went

(04:23):
to go do a handstand in the water. It's only
about four feet deep, she thought, And when she did
a handstand, she felt some intense pressure on her arm.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Then she looks down blood everywhere you guys got.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Something had bitten her. But it was not a shark.
It was a barracuda. Now, barracuda arracuda's attacking humans is
sort of a rare thing. It doesn't really happen very often.
They're very curious about humans. I don't know if you
guys have ever. I've been snorkeling many times and encountered
some pretty large barracuda before, and they're intimidated looking because
they got and they kind of follow you around. They

(05:00):
don't generally attack humans, but what they think happened in
this instance.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Look she's okay.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
That she got medical attention there on the beach, and
then upon flying home once their vacation was done, she
had to get some stitches there. But she's gonna have
to have some kind of surgery or something. She will
make a full recovery. But it sounded like a pretty
gnarly bite. What they think happened in this instance was
that she was wearing some shiny jewelry on her hands,
like wearing some rings and some bracelets and stuff, and

(05:28):
they think that barracuda the one thing that kind of
catches their eye and they think it's like little fish
or something they need to go after. And so this
thing chomped right on her arms.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
So this is a reminder.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
They're saying that you may want to think twice, ladies,
about wearing your sparkly jewelry into the ocean.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I have jewelry that I'd never take off. I mean, also,
don't go into the ocean like that. I don't like
the ocean and there's stuff in there, and I'm just
I don't like it, so I don't go too far.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
So at the beach, you go to the beach and
it's a hot day and you're in beautiful place like
Turks and Caicos or something.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
How deep into the water.

Speaker 9 (06:03):
Do you go?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I mean, I'm only five feet tall as it is,
so I go to like the water. I mean to wear.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Shoulders about eight inches deep in the water.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I don't go very deep.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Wait, if you're up to your shoulders, you're you're in
that's just what.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
More, that's only like three feet in I know, but.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Still like you're submerged in the water.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Sure, but it's not like I feel like there's not
very many critters and things right there at the beach.
She was doing, A ha, that's a good point anyways. Yeah,
then that would be me. There's jewelry I never take off.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
Yeah, me too. But this is exactly why I don't
like getting in the water. I just don't like thinking.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
You're on vacation at the ocean. How deep in the
water do you go? You just don't ever just go
like swimming in the ocean.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
Can't right?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
That a stupid question?

Speaker 8 (06:57):
Wait, and Graham, I mean you wear jewelry in the
water too, Like your wedding ring?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
You do you take that off?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
No, of course not, but maybe now I don't want
to get my arm bitten off by a barracuda. I
was snorkeling one time. You guys, there was like a
six foot long barracuda. Is the biggest one I'd ever seen.
And dude, this thing came swimming out of the deep
and I saw it from far away, and I was like,
that's a shark, Like, here comes the shark. Get ready,
and I was all prepared to fight it, of course,
and it was a barracuda.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
And then they get about like.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Ten fifteen, twenty feet from you, and then they just
follow you around. It's one of the creepiest things ever.
And then you just like, I know, I guess, I
guess I could just go back to snorkeling, and you
forget about them, and then you look over, like there
he is. They always I'm always just looking at you.
They're very curious about humans. And again, human attacks very rare,

(07:42):
although tell that to this thirteen year old girl who
almost got her.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Arm bitten off.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
But most of the ones that I'd always seen, like yeah,
they're two feet three feet long. You know, it's a
big fish, and they still have big sharp teeth that
you can see, but like, h it's not that big.
This one you, guys. I'm telling you it was the biggest,
one of the biggest fish I've ever seen. Dude, he
was just following me everywhere.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Coming up next on the JV Show, we have these
Doja Cat tickets to be able to give away. Also,
we're heading into August. It's practically the holidays at this point.
But next Jess, there's an August theory in dating yep
that she's in a sheriff.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Okay, The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 10 (08:20):
Good Morning JV Show. Tiffany from Clayton, Happy Friday.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Wish me luck.

Speaker 10 (08:25):
I'm driving a U haul up to Washington State University
to bring my daughter Brooke to go to college. She's
gonna be a cougar. Go coogs, I should.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Have won to that college.

Speaker 10 (08:40):
And you who have a great weekend and see you
in a week Okay.

Speaker 8 (08:45):
Bye bye, safe drive up there.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah, driving a U haul up that's gougs. That's a
long drive, and enjoy. Hopefully you can podcast our show
a long way. Have you heard from Tiffany and Clayton
for a little while, starting to get a little worried about.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Her, but she's begetting ready to take her daughter to
call Surface by the way, where the JV show. I'm
Selina and I'm just we're already heading into August season.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
Yeah, but the August leaders, right, Well, we're going to
be in August tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
And if you're in the days.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
That's really is August start tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Holy yeah tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
And if you're in the dating scene, you need to
know about the August theory because it is it's going
to be in full effect, you guys. The theory is
that August is the month where your ex is most
likely to reappear.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
They're most likely to break no contact.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
And want to test the way break the restraining.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
That too, possibly, So just careful.

Speaker 9 (09:47):
A couple of.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Because apparently, sorry, I.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Never understood that anyways, the restraining order is not stopping anything.
It helps, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Well, it gives police rounds to arrest the person the
fact should you call and report them. So there's some
sort of legal ramifications for breaking it. But but does
it actually put up a wall around to you or
anything and keep you safer?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Not really.

Speaker 7 (10:13):
But apparently August is when seasonal Panics starts to kind
of settle.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
In a little bit.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
You know, you that well you were on a high
during the summer, living your best life and you were
out and about you were you know, living that like single,
you know, out and about life. But then bam, it
starts to settle in that the colder months are approaching.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
The fire pit, drinking by yourself.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
So it's kind of like the time when it's like hm,
they start thinking about the X and they start wanting.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
To reach out.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
So be aware, this is your reminder, stay strong.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
You can do.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
But what if the ones that you're talking to you
they're the ones considering reaching out to the X.

Speaker 8 (10:52):
Okay, see, because this is the make it or break
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (10:55):
Yeah, So August theory, beware, Like August is when you're
going to be making a lot of decisions about whether
your situationship from the summer, your summer fleeing, whether that's
going to be moving on into the cuffing season, or
whether you're going to.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Leave that behind.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
It's always those transition months, you know, we have to
hear about this all the time. When we're going from
like like like January, you know, I'm getting into the
warmer months. People want to break up and.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Live their best life, but don't really think it should
be September theory, like August, it's gonna be hot all
month long. This is we're finally like getting into peak summer. Here,
it's full summer. You need that September, maybe even early October,
where you get that first little just you start getting
that first little taste to fall right, get that cold air,
cool snap night. That's when I think it starts clicking

(11:39):
in people's brains, like oh man, it's time. Then nobody
does anything until it affects them, until it's too late.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Nobody's thinking we're in hot girls summer.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
I think it had less to do with the weather
and more that like like okay, excuse me, school is
starting up again, like we're getting back to routine, back
to business.

Speaker 8 (11:56):
Yeah, that's like the end of summer for a lot
of people.

Speaker 7 (12:00):
The fact that the holidays every year get closer and
closer sooner.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I saw Spirit Halleen store yesterday. I was like, coming soon,
What it's July.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Better get that costume now before they sell out.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
So you wear costume for you and your ex that
you're gonna hit up.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Huh, you've been warned, everybody.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I don't like it.

Speaker 9 (12:23):
The hottest.

Speaker 11 (12:26):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
So conspiracy theory regarding one of TV's most popular shows
has resurfaced. And this is interesting because earlier this week
we were literally just talking about.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
How everything is getting a reboot.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, we've you know, run out of original ideas apparently,
so everything that's coming out now is either a book
adaptation or it's a reboot something that's already.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Been done, lost our creativity.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Do you guys remember the show Glee. Yeah, Glee ended
in twenty fifteen, but it ran for some years and
it was like the biggest show ever. Well, the creator
of the show, Ryan Murphy, he said this week that
he's been considering revisiting the series and bringing it back
for the younger generation who recently discovered it. So him
saying that reminded people of the Glee Curse. Four years

(13:17):
people thought the show was cursed because of the three
cast members that passed away Corey Monteeth in twenty thirteen,
Mark Saling in twenty eighteen, and Nia Rivera in twenty twenty.
So now you know, everyone's talking about the show possibly
coming back. They're talking about the curse that we don't
need to bring back, and all of this talk led
one of the show's stars, Kevin McHale, to say this

(13:40):
on X let Me log Off today, because the way
too many of you talk about real people who have
passed as a sacrifice or a curse in regards to
a TV show is effing diabolical and untethered from any
sort of humanity or reality.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, it's a great point. Yeah, how do you guys
feel about the show possibly coming back?

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Never watched the original, so I never.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Really watched it, but I it was like a thing,
a big thing. I remember that the obsession with this
show for a lot of people. It was huge.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Just you look like somebody that watched they do, I
feel like.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
You would like it.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
I never I never started watching it actually, so maybe
I'd give it a shot, but I feel like I
have to start with.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
The other one for like the original one.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yeah, really quick post Malone making a guest appearance on
Sesame Streets. Okay, so they have a new special coming.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Out, cigarettes and drinking, but lights.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
No, they had to clean it up a little bit
for the kiddos. But they have a new special coming
out on Monday. It's going to be on PBS Kids
and on Netflix, Storm on Sesame Street. So as like
Elbow and everybody, they're like packing things up for the
storm and trying to stock up and supplies, you know,
post Malone just comes along and start eighteen.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
A couple of cartons of cigarettes. He's like, don't worry,
we're gonna be.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Yes, I got this.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
No, but he just like comes along and he performs
the song that you like, Graham a Little Help, the
one that he did with Morgan Walling.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Well, that's all.

Speaker 8 (15:11):
That's the song that he's performing that.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
There's a song in the summer last summer.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
I remember that you did say that. Yeah, so I
guess they cleaned it up for the you know, for
the Sesame Street version.

Speaker 8 (15:20):
But that's gonna drop on Monday.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Got it have fun everywhere lately.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
He's one of those guys that says yes to everything.
Him and Snoop Dogg Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 1 (15:32):
All right?

Speaker 4 (15:33):
There are still a lot of unanswered questions surrounding forty
nine head coach Kyle Shanahan's injury car crash. The delayed
timeline for release of the entire story, why the police
report initially listed the other female driver as being at
fault in the crash when Shanahan later said it was him,
and why no citations were issued in the crash, particularly
if Shanahan said it was him, he was trying to
get his phone, is the reason he took his eyes

(15:54):
off the road.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Well, some of those things might.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Be cleared up a bit if we could see that
body cam footage from the responding officers. Will Multiple media
outlets have submitted public records requests for that footage.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
And the response they got is no.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
The Palo Alto Police Department has denied all of those requests,
saying that because other people appear in that footage that
they're exempt from disclosure.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Uh huh. Does it normally go like that?

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Aren't there always other people in the bodycam footage? Are
they saying they don't want to release the identity of
the other driver in there? Couldn't they just blur out
her face or blur out anybody else's face that could
be in the Yeah, there's an AI program that can
do that literally second, So when we just blur it
and then just leave the rest of it in so
we could get some sort of answers. In this case,

(16:45):
something still smells just a teensy bit fishy about this
entire thing. It just doesn't I don't get it. I
have a feeling like the responding officers were probably big
forty nine.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Ers fans, and they're like, bro, we won't tell you.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
About this, don't worry about it, will mark down her
as the reason you're a fault.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
I just are you okay?

Speaker 2 (17:06):
They don't want to release it. It's going to make
them look bad, not so much something that.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
That's generally why a police department, in my mind, would
want to not disclose bodycam footage if it makes them
look bad. I think you're right about that. That whole
part seems interesting to me. Can we talk about the
woodside fire really quick? Were you guys affected by any
smoke yesterday?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
No?

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Not that I know it?

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Okay, the woodside fire in Sonoma County. Now, look, it's far.
It's pretty far north and along the coast, but parts
of the North Bay for us that live in the
North Bay. I live in Napa, and actually I've had
a kid free week this week. My kids have been
with my grandparents all week. And so we went out
to dinner last night. My wife and I went out
to dinner in Sonoma last night, had a nice little
dinner with some friends, and we went into the dinner

(17:54):
at maybe I don't know, five thirty or six or whatever,
blue sky, beautiful day. When we left the restaurant, smoke everywhere,
completely socked in with smoke, and it was I had
major PTSDs from some of the past fire days and
smoke days that we've had here in the Bay Area.
It looked exactly like that that bright orange sky you

(18:14):
know from the suneaking, and just the amount of smoke was.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Super thick against.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
The fire as of last night, had burned one hundred
and forty acres. CalFire said it was twenty percent contained.
Again this that was as of last night. We'll have
to see what the updates are this morning. That fire
spread pretty rapidly yesterday, jumped in size over a pretty
short amount of time.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Hopefully they were able to get a handle.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
On it through the night as a lot of different
departments are responding to that fire.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Again, it's pretty far.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
It's kind of not in a densely populated area, not
a bunch of homes and stuff threatened by this one.
But it's in a very heavily wooded area along the
Sonoma coast. So there the air levels I should say
unhealthy to very unhealthy quality in some parts of Sonoma
and Napa County, depending on which way the wind's blowing,

(19:05):
we'll see. But if you're seeing smoke throughout the bay area,
likely from the woodside fire.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (19:10):
All right, well, thank you Grammy.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (19:15):

This is Yvona and George from San Jose, and we
think the leapout word is style.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
It's a great guess, very popular guess. Selena Jess. You
guys think your style is starting to as you get older,
start to look more and more like your mom's.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
No very different, I think I ever will I like,
at what point do you start dressing older? I want
to wear crop tops forever?

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Oh good luck.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Yeah, I know it's your mom's style, like when she
leaves my house in the morning, Like she definitely does
not wear the same sorts of things that you do.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
Parting guys from Award and I guess for that word
is skin skin skin?

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Yeah, some of that's got to be genetic, right like
if and guys, this is a good psa Like if
you're dating woman and her skin looks like an old
catcher's mitt now or their mom's skin looks like an
old catchers mint, and then you can know what her
skin's like.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
This is Elyssa from San Rafel.

Speaker 7 (22:31):
I think the bleeped out word is but don't make
fun of your mom's butt might look the same as yours.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Someday talk to the butt.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Mm hmm, that could happen.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
How do your guys' butt stuck up next to your
I think my mom has a cue butt.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Okay, so that's good.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
You think it's great, just but it mind's bigger than
hers relate.

But then Graham, have you seen your mom's or or
has have you.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Seen your dad?

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Your dad's or your mom's both?

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Yeah, I've seen both. Really it was the shower incident
in the fifth Girl.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Well, I think everyone's had one of those. Yeah, oh
my god, thank you. All right, let's go to your talkbacks.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Good morning j V Show.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Jeremy from Newark and my guest for the bleeped out
word is hands. Great guests, very very popular guests this morning.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Hands.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
I guess, so I guess eventually you're hands.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
I feel like I have older looking hands on my
mom's because of my ExM my em oh oh.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
No, do we need the sad do you want the
sad music to talk about it? Let's talk about your hands?

Speaker 2 (24:26):
All right, I'm done, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
That is one of those things on particularly reality TV
where you see the Real Housewives whatever their faces, oh man,
they look phenomenal, but the hands is one of the.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Areas you can hands in. These are the things you
can never like tell how old they are, never changed. Yeah,
Good morning JAV show.

Speaker 12 (24:42):
This is Sclauvia from Santa Mon and my guess for
the bleeped out word is purse.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Happy Friday.

Speaker 9 (24:49):
I see you are.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
How about that as a fashion choice.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Do you think as you get older your purse will
look more like your.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
I hope not. But then it's like, why does everybody's
mom have the same purse?

Speaker 9 (25:05):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (25:06):
You know, at what point do you make that change
from like cute person to mom the mom purse?

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Yeah, it happens. I don't know at age, but it
will happen.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Good morning, Jamie Show. This is Kimberly from any And
my guess for the clipt word is neck. Your neck
ends up looking like your mom's neck getting old.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Happy Friday and you are out here judging your mom's neck.
What is wrong with you? That's your mom?

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Well again, okay, back to my reality TV example. Faces
look great, the neck is the other neck and hands
and you said knees. But neck and hands, in my
mind are the two areas where you can really count
the age.

Speaker 7 (25:50):
Sorry, so they say to like, do your skincare all
the way down to your neck?

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (25:55):
Him from San Ramones and I think the leef dot
word is playlist because I used to hate my mom's
old Latina playlist like leaf Miguel, and now I catch
myself blasting it in the morning's on my way to work,
all right, Happy day.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Bye Meridith. Okay, so here's today's clip. Unbelief.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
Don't ever judge your mom's playlist, because the older you get,
the more yours starts looking like hers.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Jesse, you or your mom start your playlists starting to
look more alike.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
So alike.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
So anytime I clean now Spanish music, and it's all
the Spanish music I grew up listening to when my
mom would play it.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
So so it's.

Speaker 7 (26:37):
Kind of nice because then it's like, ah, reminiscing, but
then it's also like dang. When I was growing up,
I'd be like, gosh, I want to listen to my
own music.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Gosh, mom.

Speaker 8 (26:46):
Yeah, everyone had that experience.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
I think I noticed when Selena's mom hangs out at
my house, she's always putting on that young Miami song,
Spend that or whatever, and I'm like, dude, you and
your daughter like listen to the exact thing.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Garbage. Okay, anyways, all right.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Let's get let's get let's get some shut outs. Joey
first out first, this was a tricky word today.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Nice job to bea and Sarah.

Speaker 13 (27:11):
Mouta you had the first and am I counting this correctly,
only correctly, Wow, the only correct answer this morning, nice job,
brand new Chuck mug coming your way.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Great way to start to the weekend.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
A couple of the more popular guesses, since there are
no other shout outs to get this morning.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Shoes was a popular guest. Do you switch to mom shoes.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
At some age?

Speaker 8 (27:34):
I guess at some point it's gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
There were a lot of guesses about hobbies or habits
or attitude. You start becoming your mom in those ways?

Speaker 8 (27:43):
Okay, habits, yeah, sure.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
Jewelry was another popular guess. Start wearing jewelry like your mom.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
I about that one.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Come home with cue jewelry.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
The one the guesses that I liked. A lot of
people had were thinking of, like here, cooking and parenting.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Oh, those are great guesses. Yeah, your parents.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Eventually will become your mom in the kitchen and as
a parent, obviously. And then another guest I thought was
probably pretty accurate handwriting nor mom's handwriting.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
I really read my mom's handwriting writing, So I guess, yeah,
someday it'll be sure. Thank you everybody place, Yep, we'll
do it again Monday morning, seven oh five. Right here,
on the JV Show.

Speaker 1 (28:23):

four trivia questions. You just got to get three correct.
If you can do that, The tickets are yours. Are
you ready?

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Yay?

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Here we go.

Speaker 8 (28:50):
Question number one.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
What superhero had an Arctic base known as the Fortress
of Solitude?

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Sounds lonely?

Speaker 7 (29:00):
Oh my god, I know superheroes.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
I have no idea. Come, I'll take a guess.

Speaker 12 (29:10):
Okay, no, it's not Superman.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Superman.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
I don't watch DC and Icy there and he just
like I guess, like to kick it by himself.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Sounds very lonely. All right, that's okay. You can miss
one question. You guys got to just get the next
three correct. Let's start with question number two. The Purple
People Eaters was the nickname given to the legendary defensive
line on what NFL team.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Oh, I'm not good at football.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
I'm good at football, not good at DC. I am purple.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Purple people eaters.

Speaker 10 (30:08):
To tell you.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
That's one of them.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
It's one of the purple teams, the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Is the correct answer?

Speaker 7 (30:14):
That pur.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Finished strong. Right, we're not doing too well, but hear sorry?

Speaker 8 (30:22):
How many sides does a trapezoid have?

Speaker 7 (30:29):
Three?

Speaker 1 (30:31):
It's a triangle?

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Answer has four sides?

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Four sides on that trapezoid. No, I'm not gonna sugarcoat
this is not going well. You need to get this
final question correct, otherwise I will be shouting holy horrible trivia,
and the entire Bay Area will be shouting out in
agne going into this weekend. All right, question number four?
Lock in. By the way, the person that is rolled

(31:00):
in the dice in a game of craps is called.

Speaker 9 (31:02):
What oh, the dealer.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
The person that's shoots that's rolling the dice in a
game of craps is called the shooter.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
The shooter is the person.

Speaker 9 (31:25):
The dice they are shooting the dice.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Oh my gosh, different ending.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Happy Friday to you guys. Yeah, lots of good.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Times were high. Intelligence was all right. We had a
good time thank you.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
For being on.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Up.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Ladies, gonna put your hold real quick.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
They were great. I had I love a good hold
hold trivia.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I had to throw a shout out to my sons
Lucas and Lorenzo, Mom and dadd are I'm post Atano,
Italy on the beach right now.

Speaker 14 (32:08):
It's four thirty pm here and we're streaming the JV show.

Speaker 9 (32:11):

good weekend, have fun.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Hey, we appreciate did you hear the sound of the
ocean waves in the background. Look, I appreciate you guys
listening to us all the way from Italy on your vacation.
JV show number one in Italy by the way, I
just checked the translations a little rough sometimes, but we
are number one there. And shout out to Lucas and Lorenzo,
who mom and dad left behind apparently in our back

(32:38):
here and not on the vacation.

Speaker 8 (32:39):
Hey, I'm not mad at that there's no vacation like
a kid for you vacation.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah for really good for you, guys. Shout out to
Lucas Alonzo listening.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
To us all right. Today's how is Trending? Is coming
up next?

Speaker 11 (32:51):
God please it's all the stuff you need to know
what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked
about story.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Okay, how would you guys feel about a permanent Taylor
Swift and Travis Kelce tribute at Madison Square Garden? So
not than it is.

Speaker 8 (33:13):
According to multiple sources, execs.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
There at MSG are busy trying to decide if they
should commemorate the wedding at the venue with a permanent tribute.
No decisions have been made, but conversations are ongoing.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
Right they're going to hang their ters, like, retire their
jerseys up there right now.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
They don't know what it would look like like. They're
not saying they're gonna put up like a monument or
a statue. These are just really early conversations to see,
you know, if they should do anything at all. Because
this wasn't just a celebrity event, No, it was quote
a cultural moment that people will be talking about for decades.
This is pop culture history that was made there.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
So we all know it happened there. Let us talk
about it for generations or whatever. We don't need some
sort of plaque or The things that should be hung
up in there are the championship banners or the retired
jersey numbers and things like that, and let's keep.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
It to that.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Well, maybe MSG is like we're more than that. Look
at what we have and we're not.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Just sports and performances. Where Taylor Swift's wedding venues.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
So frame a little picture there in one of the
exact offices.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
That's plenty. Well, we don't know enough.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Because no one's going to see it, but we already.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
He was there. What more do I need to know?

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Because the next generation of people they're not going to
know if they didn't live through this.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
Then maybe a statue it is a statue of Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Say it has to be a statue, yeah out front, Yeah,
on the fronts, like we have what do we have
here at Oracle Park.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
There's quite a few statues.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Where you walk in his legs up and he's like one,
I don't know, well it's.

Speaker 8 (34:49):
Something like that, but uh, yeah, we have Willie May's.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
They're gonna have Taylor and Travis at the altar and
you know people would take pictures. Yes, would be like.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
A huge total Instagram moment.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
Yeah, you need something instagrammable at your venue or like
do you even have a venue, right, right, if you
don't have something even there, if.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
You don't have a Taylor Swift statue in.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
Front of it, if you're a bar restaurant right now
that doesn't have like a neon sign in front of
like a wall of plants, you know that says something inspirational,
like do you even.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
Have a bar? Right?

Speaker 3 (35:21):
If your drinks don't look instagrammable? Are you even serving drinks?

Speaker 4 (35:25):
I remember when we went to Nashville a couple of
years ago, and there was a line of people, a
literal line of people waiting to take pictures in front
of that wall that has like the two giant wings
painted on it, and if you stand right, it looks
like the giant wings are coming off of you.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
There was a line. I mean, we took our picture
in front of.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
It, but there was a literal line of people waiting
to take their picture there.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Like this is where we're at in society. It's a
looking for a long time though.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Those wings, for whatever reason, have been like famous for
like ever over.

Speaker 8 (35:54):
I mean I went a decade ago, but.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
I get that.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
But you see, what every venue has tried to sense
is like, oh, you have to have somewhere super cute, right,
outside your bathroom or whatever where the girlies can take
a picture of themselves with the Neon sign in the
back and the plants or something attacked.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
I just did that this past weekend.

Speaker 9 (36:11):
Did you do?

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Oh yeah, it was my photo from home.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
There's a very specific formula happening right now. You have
to have something where you can have a look at
me moment.

Speaker 8 (36:21):
Yep, and this is that an MSG, I say, do
it at this point?

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Who cares?

Speaker 9 (36:24):
No?

Speaker 2 (36:24):
I mean, just do it. I'm here for it, all right, Grammy,
what do you have?

Speaker 9 (36:27):
All right?

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Earlier this week, we talked about Giants player Harrison Bader,
who was reportedly involved in an electric scooter crash, and
he was getting roasted a bit by us and other
people because he injured his foot in the crash, the
same foot that has had him on the injured listen
out of the starting lineup for the past couple months.
Also doesn't help that when he was healthy and was
in the starting lineup, he had a dismal time hitting

(36:48):
the ball. His batting average was terrible. Well, now we
have a few more details on that scooter crash. It
happened just before two am this past Sunday. Aka Saturday
night out on the corner of Gretitch and Fillmore Streets
near Balboa Cafe in San Francisco's Cow Hollow neighborhood. If
you're not familiar with that area, right there, a whole
bunch of bars right there.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
I used to have a couple of blocks from there.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
And just before two am, obviously, when all the bars
kick everyone out for the night, his scooter apparently collided
with a San Francisco Fire Department truck, crashed right into
the first responders that then had to tend to him,
and he then was later transported to the hospital with
non life threatening injuries. As craft crash still under investigation. Remember,

(37:31):
this isn't his first drunken scooter crash. I don't know
if he was drunk in this one. I can only
you know. I can assume make that assumption given where
it was and the time of night that it was
fun area to go bar hopping by the way. You
ever been to Balboa I don't think yes, iconic restaurant
bar right there. Anyways, he had a back in college.

(37:53):
We talked about this before he got suspended for nineteen
games during his sophomore year at the University of Florida
for a drunken scooter crash left him unconscious.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Oh my god, Wow, this is.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Out there living life right now.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
I love how they're investigating. What is there to investigate?
Like he crashed, mess up his foot.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
Yeah, the end of investigation, the case closed.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
In my mind, that's what I thought.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
But if I was the Giants, I'd be like, Hey,
could I get my ten million dollars for this season
back and maybe the ten million that we you next year?

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Do you think we could get that money back?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Right?

Speaker 5 (38:23):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
It doesn't work like that, all right, Well, thank you grammy.

Speaker 7 (38:26):
And Trending was sponsored by Hennessy and you listen up
right now because we have a.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Contest on our Instagram. Have you entered to win?

Speaker 7 (38:34):
We have Saturday tickets for Outside Lands courtesy of while
Naty four.

Speaker 3 (38:38):

can stop by the Hennessy Social Club for a little
refreshing Hennessy Strawberry lemonade. I'm gonna be there, by the way.

Speaker 8 (38:50):

Speaker 2 (38:52):
It's Friday, Friday five, that is to me.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Literally, it's me. That's what I'm looking forward to in August.

Speaker 7 (38:58):
Okay, I'm gonna be there on the seventh, which is
that Friday, so you can have a little Hennessy Strawberry
lemonade with me. I'll be there twelve to two that Friday.
But again, the important thing, I know, meeting me great.
The important thing is you getting these the foot is
you getting these tickets for Saturday outside Lands. So go
to our Instagram right now. While Dady for nine and

(39:18):
entered Win My Good.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
Luck the JV Show on Wild ninety four.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Nine, I think I'm turning into a Facebook marketplacer, are
you yeah?

Speaker 4 (39:27):
You mean like a person that's actively trying to sell
all their stuff on there, yes, or somebody that's on
their well browsing a lot.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Well, I've been browsing more, and I'm like, okay, you
know some of us not so bad like you would.
I feel like every time we talked about this, I'm like, oh,
I don't want to use that, like that's used. I
don't I don't want that. But I'm on there, I'm like, uh,
I kind of do want that. I I could use that.
Why would I pay X amount of dollars when it's
on here for fifty bucks.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
I told you this, I remember.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
I was like, man, I've gotten kind of addicted to
browsing stuff from Facebook Marketplace.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
It's very addicting.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
And I bought my I think it was for my
my son's birthday last year. That's where I got him
as new, well not new.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Used gently used.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Yeah, it's awesome.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
Wait, so let me ask you this.

Speaker 7 (40:11):
Are you getting it just because you're like, dang, this
is such a good deal.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
I can't pass up on it.

Speaker 7 (40:15):
And now your house is just gonna be filled with
a bunch of random things.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
Well, I haven't actively bought anything yet, but like, like, uh,
like I wanted to get my kids like a bunk
bed for example. Okay, and they're expensive, but on Facebook Marketplace,
I mean there's one for one hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Plenty of people I've grown out of their kids bunk
rats and ready to get ready.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
I think I only get things that I actually need
for now. I mean, we'll see how far my addiction spirals.
But I'm also I I've been inspired to just like
sell everything I own. My dad came over to my
house last week and I told you guys like he
sold a Babe Ruth baseball card for five thousand dollars
on Facebook Marketplace. Apparently he has just like all this

(40:55):
stuff that he's selling. And so the last time I moved,
he helped, he helped me in my family move, and
apparently he just kept a lot of the stuff that
we were going to get rid of and he's selling
it market part.

Speaker 4 (41:06):
I just learned that's so that's what I should be doing.
I should be selling stuff. Like when when we moved,
we got rid of a bunch of ferniture and stuff,
and every time I'm just.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
I don't want to deal with it. So I just
put it out on the street with.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
The sign says free, and I'm like, that's a really
nice set of chairs or whatever it is, and they're
gone instantly.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
I'm like, damn, I probably should have sold that. I
could have made a few bun And so.

Speaker 8 (41:26):
I went to my husband. I was like, what do
we have to sell?

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Oh my god, we have so much, Like, we have
so much to get rid of that is literally just
sitting there, like streaming equipment, yeah, mics that we don't use,
mike stands, and some of it brand new. I'll give
you ten nope, five, Nope.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
People are cut that's the problem. They're cutthroat there on
a Facebook marketplace.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
There they want to, don't you like still in the packaging?

Speaker 3 (41:50):
My god, I'll trade you a chuck mug.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
Yeah, I don't know. Plus eighteen, I was.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
Thinking we should start selling autograph chuckmugs just to see.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
I'll give you seventy five cents sold about what there were.
Remember when someone sold one of those that goodwill well, yeah,
or put.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Somebody was selling it on Facebook marketplace sold.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
I don't think it did that little stuff I tried to.

Speaker 4 (42:13):
But this is funny that you bring this up because
I tried to buy something yesterday off Facebook Marketplace. I
was attempting my second ever purchase on Facebook Marketplace, and
I'm pissed about it, you guys, I almost want to
rant about it. Well, this is probably again. I've only
ever bought one thing, and it was my kid's bike,
and the person got back to me right away, and
the transaction was great and it was seamless, and I

(42:33):
got an awesome bike at a great price, and my
kid loves it to this day and still rides it.
I've been looking for a new I need a new
desk for the house. I have a little home office
space set up, just waiting for a desk to go
in there. And desks are expensive. And I saw a
really nice one. It looked, you know, the right kind
of you know, wood color whatever, wife of prou I

(42:55):
sent a picture to my wife and she's like, yes,
I like that. I have to get her approval on
anything for related, even though it's my desk. And I
was like, this is great. And the price was good,
you guys, only a couple hundred bucks. And I'm seeing
this desk, you know, I do like a you can
do like a Google image search or whatever. And I'm
seeing this desk listed for like sixteen hundred bucks. Oh yeah, God,

(43:16):
and this one looks like it's in really nice shape.
And I'm like, I'm about to score. So I email
the seller this woman, Hey, can I get the dimensions
on that. I gotta know if it's going to fit
in the back of my Forerunner, right, I got I
gotta be able to pick.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
This thing up.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
And she sends back the dimensions and you guys, I
get out the tape measure. It would fit perfectly in
the back of my car with the seat step just
perfectly back there. And so I said, hey, I'd be
happy to venmoil you right now, just so you hold it,
don't sell it to somebody else. I'll send you the
money right now, or I can give you cash in person,
but I'll send you the money right now, and I'll
pick it up tomorrow eleven thirty, you know, like get

(43:51):
off the show here, I go straight there, pick this
thing up.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
And then what kind of response do I get?

Speaker 2 (43:57):
You got ghosted?

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Absolutely nothing?

Speaker 5 (44:01):
You got.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Heartbroken, heart broken.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
So then I go back to the chat later I
was like, well, maybe I should just fall up, you know, like.

Speaker 8 (44:10):
How long did you eat?

Speaker 1 (44:13):
A couple hours. I didn't message again because it said
right at the bottom sold, like listening had been updated
to sold. I mean, come on, if you sent me.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
The dimensions and then I go measure and then I
immediately get back to you, and I'm like, hey, I
want to buy that thing, dang it.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah, but you're messaging multiple people at once. You know
it's a steal.

Speaker 4 (44:36):
But shouldn't she have like reached back out to me
like hey, sorry, I actually sold it to somebody else.

Speaker 7 (44:40):
She should have Yeah, I would have been like like
break up with me gently, you know, yeah, offered her
more money.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
I would have had I known that I was in
competition for this thing, but the price had been reduced
recently on it.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
So I'm thinking this thing hasn't not moving that quickly.
It's mine.

Speaker 9 (44:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Anyway, So jess if you have any things that you
are going to get rid of and just you can
just bring them over to me or Graham and we'll
just help you. Okay, No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Want Jessic's joke. And how would you be able to
even sell a live cat? The JV show on Wild
ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (45:15):
Grammy, are we playing these Facebook marketplace talkbacks before we
get I think we shall.

Speaker 14 (45:20):
Wedding guys Eddie for Pittsburg. So I have sold stuff
off Facebook market but the stressful part is that people
won't reply and then you go meet up somewhere safe
out a store or grocery store, and they never show
up and they kind of.

Speaker 9 (45:35):
Like ghost you.

Speaker 14 (45:36):
So that's the only stressful part about it. For buying stuff,
good stuff, These stuff not bad every good day.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, I guess having to coordinate with the person and
pick up and meet up and all that that that
does sound like a headache.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
I know I have never again, I've never sold anything
I want to. But yeah, the coordinating that and then
they don't show up or something. But buying stuff and
the Dells deals that are out there doing stuff on there.

Speaker 15 (46:06):
I love Facebook Marketplace. I sell so much on there.
I do buy that, I mostly sell because that's the
place where I want to get rid of stuff. But anyways,
the most frustrating thing is definitely what you just said, Graham.
But I think what's worse than that is giving your
address for someone to pick something up and then they
don't even show or don't even tell you they changed

(46:26):
their mind because.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
Now you gave your address to a stranger.

Speaker 15 (46:29):
I think that's so annoying.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Oh my god, that sounds so scary. Yeah, think about
that part.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
Well, yeah, because you don't want to.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
You don't give him your home address, right, you don't
want people coming to your house.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
I guess a lot of this stuff is like a
big if it's big enough, If it's too big, furniture
or something, you're not like.

Speaker 8 (46:45):
Throwing it into your trunk.

Speaker 3 (46:46):
Yeah, I'm not going to take the couch to safe way.

Speaker 4 (46:49):
That's probably why the desk I wanted to buy from
this woman yesterday.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
She probably didn't want me coming to her house.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
She's like, who's this guy's from Napa? That sounds like
a that sounds like a catfish account.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
She probably thought I was gonna.

Speaker 8 (47:00):
Robert probably, I mean, with your name like that, Graham Herbert.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Oh my god. All right, let's go to the phones.
Weldy and good morning.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
What's your name? My name is Lauren. All right, Lauren,
you are on to play our chug wheel game. Here's
how this is gonna go down. We uh, for anyone
that's new to the JV show. We sent Jess out
to the streets yesterday and just ask the stranger on
the street a questions. So we're gonna go through each
question one by one. We're gonna stop down and Lauren,
if you're able to guess what that person on the

(47:29):
street said correctly five times, then you win the game.
And that means we are going to have to spin
the chug wheel here in studio. One of us is
gonna be doing some chugging, which I don't think is
very fair. Cheaty's not here today. I know, you know,
out of town, so I don't I don't like that
the odds are.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
Home and if her name gets drawn, she can chug
next week when.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
But if you do win the game, Lauren, you're you
are going to be getting a JB show chug mug?
Are you ready to play? All right? So let's find
out who just talked to about.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
I'm talk about what's on the JV show Chug meel
this morning, what the possible consequence could be? And featured
item alert. So it's featured item Doctor pepper and butter.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Why is this a thing I saw I grow on
Instagram eating a stick of butter after dipping it into
doctor pepper.

Speaker 4 (48:18):
Okay, so I will let who if it lands on that,
I'll let you choose. You can either chomp instead of chug.
You can chomp the stick of butter and then chug
some doctor pepper, or I can melt the butter in
the doctorage you and.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
Let you chug it. Whatever. You shouldn't have brought that up,
all right.

Speaker 4 (48:33):
We have coffee with olive oil. Starbucks took that off
their menu. We put it on ours. We have pumpkin
pure tie peanut sauce still on the wheel, as well
as pea water. Returning to the wheel, this week. I
won't tell you how we spelled pea. There we have
the soup a jour, which of course is the soup
of the day JV.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Show Chef does not recommend.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
It's a hearty winter stew that's been left over for
several months.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
And then we have dealer's choice. If you land on
that space, you can chug any of those delicious items.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Oh my god. All right, now let's find out who
just talked to I'm Chloe.

Speaker 8 (49:03):
I'm from San Jose, Chloe from San Jose.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
All right, Lauren, are you ready? Yeah, here's the first question.

Speaker 7 (49:10):
When eating a bagel, do you eat two halves separately
or do you eat them together?

Speaker 2 (49:14):
What do you think she said? Together? Or separate? Separate? Separately?

Speaker 8 (49:22):
Jess as a psychopath that eats it together.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
I don't know why would you why you would eat
him separate?

Speaker 1 (49:27):
You eat them together.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
If there's like egg and meat in the middle, it's
like a bageld breakfast salad, cheese.

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Separate.

Speaker 7 (49:33):
Yeah, you one to have split it and then it
takes twice as long to eat.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Isn't that the joy of eating?

Speaker 9 (49:39):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (49:39):
So it's not gone. All right, one crack, Let's go
to the next question.

Speaker 7 (49:43):
Excitement level for the New Spider Man movie on a
scale of one to five, with five being the most excited.

Speaker 4 (49:49):
Lauren, what do you think Chloe said about her excitement
level for the New Spider Man Movie?

Speaker 2 (49:53):
Five?

Speaker 9 (49:54):
Five?

Speaker 1 (50:00):
So I hate this game too?

Speaker 2 (50:01):
All right, let's go to the next question.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
You're playing a game against a child. Do you let
them win?

Speaker 9 (50:06):
Great question?

Speaker 2 (50:07):
What do you think? Yes or no? Lauren?

Speaker 12 (50:10):
Yes, No, Oh my god, she's ruthless.

Speaker 4 (50:15):
That's the way I play. My kids win sometimes, but
I win a lot of the times.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
You got it. It's a life lesson and you're not
gonna You're not gonna win.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
You're gonna about it. We're just not gonna play games exactly.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Pack it up and go home.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
We're so mean.

Speaker 1 (50:29):
No, you can't win it everything. It's not real life.

Speaker 6 (50:31):
I mean wine.

Speaker 8 (50:33):
Okay, all right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Next question.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Do you consider influencing a career?

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Laura? What do you think Kloe said is influencing a career?

Speaker 9 (50:46):
No?

Speaker 2 (50:47):
I don't think so. How many points does that?

Speaker 4 (50:51):
Because, Lauren, ap he's got three correct so far and
only one incorrect.

Speaker 8 (50:55):
You gotta get two more points there to make us
spin the chug wheel.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Here's the next question.

Speaker 7 (50:59):
When's the last time you had a sloppy Joe within
the last few years, not since you were a kid,
or never?

Speaker 2 (51:06):
What do you think, Lauren?

Speaker 12 (51:06):
No, oh, gosh, never a few years ago?

Speaker 2 (51:15):
What adults had a sloppy Joe? Like as an adult?
That's isn't that kind of weird?

Speaker 4 (51:19):
I think a lot of people are about to have
sloppy Joe's added back to the many ones we started
talking about him yesterday and now I walk one.

Speaker 7 (51:26):
All right, let's go to the next question here, Lauren,
were you disappointed that the Warriors didn't get Lebron James?

Speaker 1 (51:31):
Lauren? What do you think?

Speaker 4 (51:32):
Chloe said, disappointed that the Warriors did not get Lebron James.

Speaker 15 (51:36):
I'm gonna say no, no, all right.

Speaker 4 (51:41):
Currently Lauren has four correct and only two incorrects. She
needs just one more correct answer and the chug wheel
will be spending here this morning.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
My god, have you been.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
In a way MO yet or another autonomous car?

Speaker 2 (51:55):
What do you think? She said? Yes or no?

Speaker 4 (51:57):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (51:58):
No, okay.

Speaker 4 (52:02):
As it often does in this game, it comes down
to the final question, Lauren, you need to get this
one correct to get somebody on the JV show chugging.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Let's go to that final question.

Speaker 7 (52:12):
Of these three names, Selena, Graham, and Jess, who do
you think has the yellowest teeth?

Speaker 2 (52:16):
What kind of a question is that? And this is
just based on names, like you doesn't even know what
we look like.

Speaker 4 (52:21):
No, just based on the names. Yes, Graham, Selena, Jess, Lauren.
Who do you think Chloe said had the yellowest teeth?

Speaker 12 (52:29):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (52:29):
My god?

Speaker 12 (52:31):
Uh Graham, Graham, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
For the wind, you guys, for the win. It's I
already know, Lauren, hang on, holds for the quick. You
gotta chug, myg hang on there.

Speaker 4 (52:49):
In the Can I just say something and just maybe
air some grievances here really quick, because look, we had
a bunch of weeks in a row where people lost
the game and we didn't chug, and people were mad
about that. And even still, Slynna, you rallied everybody up
and got everyone to agree that the game should change
from getting four out of correct to five out of correct.
And now here we are, three weeks in a row,

(53:12):
the new tougher version of the game, and suddenly three weeks.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
In a row we're chugging it.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
Make it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (53:18):
I hate this game. I hate this game.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
I'm annoyed.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
I feel like we shouldn't have tinkered with the game
and the chug wheel karma gods are punishing us for
changing the rule.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
I don't think so, because even if it was get
four at eight, right, I mean, we'd be chugging regardless.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
No, but the karma gods maybe they stepped down because
there was a bunch.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
Of weeks where we did were getting people.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Were not Yeah, we weren't chugging every week, and now
we chug every single week.

Speaker 8 (53:39):
No, I think I think we made the right move.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Is just that adjustment Mercury still in retro shade, so
you know this is just that adjustment period.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
Do we know when that ends and we can go
back to the things? I think, Okay, we're almost there.

Speaker 7 (53:51):
Yeah, okay, God.

Speaker 4 (53:56):
I hope I pick you, Jess, honestly, I do because
every time you draw you and I'm just praying it
me last time and I got to know that was
cheety and I got a one out of three for that.

Speaker 9 (54:07):
You picked me.

Speaker 7 (54:09):
It's I knew it.

Speaker 1 (54:13):
It's a no, it's not, but in this case it is.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Sorry, Jess, but I'm happy it's we got too short
coming in at nine o'clock. I can't be in here
smelling like peanut fish sauce or whatever. It's all the show.

Speaker 7 (54:25):
Get it over with, all right, Jack spin the chow.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Prayer for the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
All right, Happy Friday. They stng it out with the
JV Show. We lost the chug Will game, which I
give stand, I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
Three weeks in a row.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
The JV Show really been taking it on the chin lately,
and now Jess's name has been drawn and she will
be stepping up to spin that chug Will.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
If you'd like to watch.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
The spin, we are on our Instagram live right now
at JV Morning Show. Hop on there and join Jess
in her mi as she steps up to spin the
wheel on this morning's JV Show Chug Wheel. I might add,
we have a featured item this week week which is
doctor pepper and butter. We still haven't decided if you
get to just chomp on the stick of butter and

(55:13):
then follow with some doctor pepper or they'll be mixed together.
Either way, we have both those ingredients also on the
wheel this morning, we have peawater coffee with olive oil.
That was a Starbucks creation and it was upsetting a
lot of stomach so we put it on our wheel.
Pumpkin puree left over from the fall. Here, tie peanut
sauce on the wheel. Soup du jour, which is the
soup of the day. It's a hearty beef and barley stew.

(55:35):
It's been simmering since last winter. And then dealer's choice.
If you land on that space, or I should say
Jess lands on that space, she can chug any of
those delicious items.

Speaker 9 (55:44):
Jess.

Speaker 1 (55:44):
Well, now step up to the wheel and give it
a spin. All right. It's a good hard spin.

Speaker 4 (55:51):
Wheel is in motion, spinning left to right clockwise here
in the studio and is.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
Landed on pea water. Everybody it has landed on pea water.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Its gross, Well it's pet e a Honestly, that doesn't
sound that bad.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
E So it's just like canned peas and you're gonna
get the juice from it.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
Uh huh, Okay, that doesn't sound that bad.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
It's really not that bad.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
You have peawater, I get tuna punch, like, come on
you you might have a new combo there.

Speaker 4 (56:19):
Let the record show she was one space away from
landing on the Doctor Pepper and Butter.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
This week's feature wanted. Good news is that'll be up
there for next week.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
All right, let's pour up the pea water.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
Jess is chugging eggs the JV Show on Wild ninety
four nine.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Happy Friday, in case you are just joining us, you know,
Friday mornings we do our chug wheel game. We lost
okay again. I don't know how this keeps on happening,
but it does. Jess's name was drawn, and you are
going to be chugging pea water water p A yeah, a, yes,
a can peace canned pee water.

Speaker 1 (56:56):
Well, take a look at it though, it is real murky.
Let me see you a look in here. I think
she should have to chug it straight out of the can.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
No.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Yeah, the whole.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
Point of the chug wheel is we're chugging from the chug.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
Mug's gross it is.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
Oh, it's murky and musty smelling.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
Wait, let me smell it? Can I can I smell
your peat water?

Speaker 3 (57:19):
Jet? H?

Speaker 4 (57:23):
I guess I don't ever. I guess I don't never
eat canned peas. The frozen variety is the way to
go if you're getting okay.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
I don't know. That's what I would expect it to smell.

Speaker 9 (57:32):
It.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Oh, either way, it could be good.

Speaker 2 (57:35):
I got to give it a your fingers in it always,
it wouldn't be a chug if Graham's finger isn't in it.

Speaker 1 (57:40):
Hang on, I'm going to give it a good mush.
That's real good mush. Oh yeah, it's all in there,
right Jack.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
This is gonna be an easy chug.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
It's gonna be an easy one, but I'm attempting to
make it.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
It's really like murky.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
It looks like swamp water.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
It does look like swamp water. And I'm really squeezing,
mushing the pea in there.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Take your fingers out of the Why can't you ever
pour anything without your fingers being in the in the.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
Drink sometimes you gotta squeeze the can.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
He's all.

Speaker 3 (58:07):
You're throwing some peas in there.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
It's just spicing it up.

Speaker 1 (58:10):
Peas. They're delicious.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
You need get your veggie and take up anyway.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
There's one stuck to the room.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Oh garnish, it's okay. Twelve peaks, all right? Are you
ready to chug? By the way, We are streaming live
on Instagram JB Morning Show. If you want to check
us out. We do this every Friday.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
I see some like peas floating in there.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
Yeah, I had a couple of floaters to the top.
Might as well.

Speaker 4 (58:32):
This is this is let's be honest. This is an
easy chug. That was one of the best spins you
could get on the wheel.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Yeah, this is an easy chug.

Speaker 3 (58:38):
All right, Jeu, Happy Friday.

Speaker 2 (58:39):
Whenever you're ready, go for it, all right.

Speaker 4 (58:42):
She is getting ready to chug. Well, she's spinning around,
so she didn't get the pea stuck to the well fine, yeah,
you gotta.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
Eat that one, all right.

Speaker 4 (58:48):
She's she's eating. The chug has begun, all right. It
was actually a pretty fool There's a lot of pea
water in that can.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
She is about mid chug. I think she's about halfway
done right now.

Speaker 2 (58:58):
Like face like it's not so bad. Yeah, she's got
this ros.

Speaker 1 (59:01):
Yeah, it's not gonna taste great, but it's not gonna
kill you.

Speaker 8 (59:04):
Like it's not like pea water or tuna punch.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
She had to pick one.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
The chug is done. She has done it, ladies and gentlemen.
The chug is done. Chug queen is now.

Speaker 7 (59:13):
Yeah, I mean it's not enjoyable, obviously, but better than
anything else that's on the rail.

Speaker 4 (59:20):
Somebody nice, I would like you to taste their pee way. Oh,
never mind, we're gonna move on.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Coming up next, Oh, we have to talk about Northwest's
newest piercings.

Speaker 8 (59:32):
Okay, those details are coming up.

Speaker 11 (59:36):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (59:45):
All right, So Northwest has some new piercings. She was
photographed going to dinner at Nobu in Malibu the other night.
She was wearing a T shirt and she had on
this black skirt and a lot of people couldn't help
but notice a couple of dermal piercings on her thighs.
And you can check out these photos that were taken
on our Instagram story JV Morning Show. Yeah, she's got

(01:00:06):
dormals on her thighs. I don't know if you guys
have noticed, but she has basically been on a piercing
spree since that very first finger piercing we talked about
last summer. Never on her face, though, Like I'll see
every once in a while she'll pop out and she'll
have a facial piercing, but it's fake. So these ones
on her thighs. Page six is reporting that they're fake.
They don't look fake to me.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
They don't look fake to me.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
I I'm pretty in my you know, piercing experts opinion,
I think they're real.

Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
How many piercings do you have, miss expert?

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Here, it's just my nose and my belly button. But
I used to have other things like what, I'm not
gonna talk about that right now.

Speaker 8 (01:00:49):
It just not it doesn't matter relevant.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
I can guess.

Speaker 2 (01:00:55):
Anyway, it doesn't even matter. No, it wasn't that anyways.
I'm not so prize that she has some new ones
on her thighs. I mean she has had multiple other
piercings on her hands, and like I've seen pictures where
it's left scarring and you can even see some of
the scarring, and these photos we have on our Instagram story,
and if you look at the photos, like go look now,

(01:01:15):
you can even see that. In one picture, she's got
like hell of band aids on her arm, and I
think that's from other piercings she has there that are
either infected or are possibly rejecting. So she's had to
cover them up.

Speaker 7 (01:01:26):
Yeah, because in the picture of her hand as well,
you can see that there was on one of her fingers,
like some scarring that was left and it's different.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
You can see it right there. It's a lot. So yeah,
you can go check that out on our instagration story.

Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Let your teen daughter get a thigh piercing.

Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
No, no, a hand piercing.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
I have a teen daughter and I've kind of captured
at the ear piercings that she has. And you got
it once you're older and you're eighteen, and I can't
control you anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Do what you want, pierce those thighs.

Speaker 8 (01:01:54):
Do whatever, do whatever you want at that point. Okay, Graham, quickly,
you have.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Something all right.

Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
Right on the heels of Open AI's agent going rogue
and breaking containment and hacking into another company.

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
We've talked about that a few times.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
It turns out it isn't just their tech that's doing it,
because Anthropics new AI model just said, hold my beard.
They'd like to get in on the action. Anthropic known
for their AI agent Claude. They say they were testing
out one of their newest models and it also broke
containment three different times. Apparently it quote gained unauthorized access

(01:02:25):
to three outside organizations by outside organization.

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
I can only.

Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
Assume that meant other businesses that didn't really specify this
is really scary what or where they're they said it
did so by using basic techniques such as exploiting weak
passwords and unauthenticated endpoints, and that the only reason that
they had access that their model. Normally, when they're testing
these things, they're supposed to be very securely contained and

(01:02:50):
they're letting it run by itself but not connected to
the Internet, so doesn't do stuff like this. Well, apparently
there was a misunderstanding between Anthropic and their evaluation partner.
A little oopsies perfect, and it was allowed access to
the Internet, And turns out it decided it wanted to
go hack into three different organizations while it was out there.
AI turns out it's just like as humans, likes to

(01:03:10):
get into a little mischief once it gets out there
on the internet, likes to have some fun when it
breaks containment. The open AI incident off, you guys saw this.
It triggered a petition assigned by over one thousand employees
at different AI companies calling for the US government to
slow down the release of these very advanced AI models.
Anthropic and their CEO, one of the people that signed

(01:03:31):
that petition, like they were saying, we do need to
pump the brakes on this.

Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
Where was that energy before, though you'll think it's.

Speaker 4 (01:03:36):
A little bit too late now, it was headed that
direction where it's going to be tough, and it probably
already passed the point where you could put the toothpaste
back into two.

Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
But you almost have to treat these super.

Speaker 4 (01:03:47):
Super advanced AI models like you're working in a lab
on a highly infectious disease that you know could break containment,
you know, and infect millions, because that's what could happen,
So you have to treat it like that.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Go ahead, Jess. You had one final thought.

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Yeah, well, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:04:03):
I'm just I'm scared that this is even happening because
if the people that are quote like I guess trained
or have the most knowledge of these programs are the
ones that are having issues with it, Like I don't know,
I just said, the future of this really really scares me.

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
I think everyone should be I think everybody should be
joining that. The sentiment that of that petition, which is
we do need to pump the brakes on this now
to something a little lighter, just really quick. I did
want to shout out the World.

Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
Dog Surfing Championships, you guys with tomorrow, Linda mar Beach
in PACIFICA nine am te thirty pm. You want to
see some dogs hanging ten or hanging pause or hanging.

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:04:41):
Anyways, that's going down tomorrow, the World Dog Surfing Championship.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
Oh fun, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Gream The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine Wealdy.

Speaker 8 (01:04:49):
For nine were the bays number one hit music station.

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
The JV Show. I'm Selena A.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Graham.

Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Jess is back here somewhere. She's off, she's off mic
right now. We had to give it to somebody more deserving.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
I wasn't gonna say it, but yeah, people that you know,
somebody that people actually want to hear from.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Yeah, do you want to say who that is?

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
We got too short?

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Spare with us. Good morning, good morning. So all summer long,
we've been discussing something right here on the show. Sure,
we've been trying to figure out what is the song
of the summer right and we've come up with some ideas,
none of them really hit until drink and smoke your
latest single.

Speaker 9 (01:05:25):
Yeah, I wouldn't go song good the summer. I never
really try to fill that slot.

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
But I mean that's the thing about you though, you
don't try, and then it just happens.

Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
And that's what I like about a lot of songs
that I've had that people you know, decide that they
like and love. It just happens. I don't force it
on you. It's it's not like sometimes it's not even
a single that the label is like, this is the single,
just happens. So it's just it's let time tell It's
crazy because when I add new songs to my live performances,

(01:05:58):
I wait a while. I don't just I wait to
just see which ones are taking in the streets. Okay,
you know what's out there and which ones the crowd
is gonna really like? Before I just forced it on youse.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
Is it interesting to see that the different ways that
your music will blow up now, because I mean, you've
been doing this for a long time before social media,
and so I think like before you had to kind
of really wait to see for people to hear the
music for them to decide, you know, what was gonna
hit and what wasn't now you have like TikTok and
you have Instagram, and that's how you know.

Speaker 9 (01:06:28):
Yes, it's like you know it text me back to
the young days when when you like maybe I like
like a little dance or something in high school dancing,
like who wants to dance with me? You know who
likes me? I like her? She likes me? That type
of stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Right, so you're here because the album album two days
right now?

Speaker 5 (01:06:47):
Nice?

Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
The too short Volume two.

Speaker 9 (01:06:49):
Volume two? There will be a Volume three and a
volume four. Really so this goes on? So what's the
total album count? The songs? How many songs on the
four projects?

Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
What's that? What album are we?

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
You smoked drink? Did smoke too much this morning?

Speaker 9 (01:07:04):
Don't ask me?

Speaker 5 (01:07:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
I blow there?

Speaker 9 (01:07:07):
How many homes do you have? Blow the Whistle?

Speaker 4 (01:07:09):
Sixteen albums with me on the front and now here
we are?

Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 9 (01:07:13):
Like this was on board into twenty after twenty there's.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
No more up to like twenty two, twenty three, something
like that.

Speaker 9 (01:07:21):
People say, I really don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:07:23):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Do you keep track of how many songs you've ever
done or been on?

Speaker 9 (01:07:28):
There's probably a person that knows who is in charge
of publishing or something or something that related to my career.
But I could care less really.

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Well, because I googled it this morning it said, I
don't even think Google knows. This says nearly a thousand.

Speaker 9 (01:07:43):
That's probably solo songs. But then what about features? I
probably got another thousand features? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Probably do you? Lil Wayne is like famous for forgetting
the words to his songs? Can you remember all of
your lyrics? That's a lot of songs.

Speaker 9 (01:07:55):
I know the words to all the songs I perform
live in concert. If I'm not performing a song regularly on.

Speaker 2 (01:08:02):
Stage, really, that's so crazy to me and.

Speaker 9 (01:08:05):
A lot of people who are too short fans know
way more lea, Yeah I could. I could jump in
and out, you know, of all the songs. I know
a little certain lines and stuff. But how would you
even why would you even want me to memorize all that?

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
I have figured you would? It's your song?

Speaker 9 (01:08:21):
No, not even from the early days. That wasn't even really.
I do my show. If the song is on the
playlist on the show, we know.

Speaker 8 (01:08:30):
The words, Okay, I mean that makes more sense.

Speaker 9 (01:08:32):
Even sometimes in concert I can forget the words and
I just like point the mic at the crowd and
they just keep it going.

Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
That's nice to be able to when you're a big
enough artist, they can bail you out like that, because
a lot of artists can't do that.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
They throw the mic at the crowd and it's silent.

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
There's been right, and it's so embarrassing. So we got
we got too short Volume two. You said there's going
to be a three four. I mean, you've been doing
this for a long time. Do you ever see yourself
not making music?

Speaker 9 (01:08:59):
Well that that's a good question because I will never
not make music. I don't know about what the future
of releasing albums and singles would be, but I'm definitely
like I'm a studio guy. I'm in there so much.
Like it's it's so many songs that are on my
computer that I think people would really love to hear.

(01:09:20):
But it's just too many songs to release too much.
So just whatever happens is gonna happen. But it's always
been good music over the years. I've always made a
few too many songs. So it's always like these songs
around that I don't know, maybe we a few slip
through the crack that shit have came out. Who knows
if we'll go into vault one day and release the unreleased.

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Songs, who knows people will go crazy?

Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Yeah over that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
And at this point you're doing it just because it's
what you love. Like, it's not like you are trying
to prove anything. You've already like solidified. Your status is
whatever you want to call it.

Speaker 9 (01:09:55):
To this day, I still guard my hard drives with
like like security status is high high tech security out
you know what's right? What's next to me? Right now?

Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
Let me see what what is that?

Speaker 9 (01:10:07):
I got a backpack and his suitcase and somewhere in
there there's a hard drive that I'll fight you over.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
What's in there?

Speaker 9 (01:10:16):
Sunglasses, headphones, all the normal, all the essentials.

Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
What's the what's your day to day life when you're
not recording, when you're not in the studio, Where would
people find you?

Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (01:10:30):
Man, I'm out there. I'm like, you know, a vacation
to me is staying home because I travel so much,
so when I'm not working, I don't know. Men, you
might you might see me at a restaurant or floating
through an outdoor mall or something, or just somewhere just

(01:10:51):
people like, what are you doing here? I hate it
all the time. What are you doing here? I'm everywhere like.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
What are you thinking?

Speaker 9 (01:10:56):
What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
What does it look like?

Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
Human being?

Speaker 9 (01:10:59):
Everywhere? I'm just taking in the world. I'm not I'm not.
I'm not much of a homebody, but I do consider
the days that I stay home as vacation.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
Back to the music really quick. I think it's so
cool that this entire album produced by Little John.

Speaker 9 (01:11:14):
This volume is one hundred front to back produced by
Little Jack.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
And if you don't remember what that sounded like, shake
that monkey like those were you know that? I think
one of the other biggest songs that y'all had together,
and Whistle and blow the Whistle. I was gonna say
the twentyth anniversary, blow the Whistle. That's I don't like
thinking about that? Can me feel hell old?

Speaker 4 (01:11:36):
I mean we on the show say I always say,
I'm only twenty eight and a half. That means I
was listening to that song when I was eight and
a half years old.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
My parents told me about it.

Speaker 9 (01:11:43):
Yeah, like we do have a future of twerking. Nana's
oh gosh, right around the corner.

Speaker 8 (01:11:51):
It's already happening.

Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
It is, it's happening.

Speaker 9 (01:11:54):
Yeah, but they're like young grandma's I'm talking.

Speaker 8 (01:11:56):
About grandma's are getting younger these days.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
That's true.

Speaker 9 (01:11:58):
I'm talking about Grandma. I was like seventy six and
the only day and she knows, Hey.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
That can't be good for her, for her hips.

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
That's like ninety nine. But yeah, blow the Whistle is
one of her favorite songs.

Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
She made it to ninety.

Speaker 9 (01:12:12):
These up and coming nana though they got tattoos, all,
oh yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
A different breed of nana. My nana would be.

Speaker 9 (01:12:17):
Like, I don't recognize you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
You're a nana. How we doing?

Speaker 9 (01:12:20):
You can really go back and look at her explicit pictures.

Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
On old Nana's pictures will be in the cloud somewhere.

Speaker 9 (01:12:29):
God, bro, your grandmother used to be fun. Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
Nobody wants to hear that.

Speaker 9 (01:12:35):
I saw her. I still follow her.

Speaker 4 (01:12:38):
Yeah, that's the stuff kids are going to get teased about,
because before you only get teased about your mom because
they would see your mom at school pickup. But now
they can see your grandma, and then pretty soon they'll
be able to see your great grandma.

Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
And be able to talk smack about that mom.

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
It's something I worry about about my own kids, like
they're going to get teased in high school in college
for having like just the hottest mom ever.

Speaker 9 (01:12:54):
Got yo yo mama.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
Fine, Okay, So the album was out today, New music
and you're never gonna stop making music. We love that.
Is there anything else tho that Too Short wants to do.

Speaker 9 (01:13:07):
I'm just adding on to the legacy, and I think
a lot of that has to do it. What's taking
place away from the music and you know, just just
things that are like community based. I'm really, really, you know,
involved in doing things for the youth of Oakland, California,
as well as other communities. We love that, partnered up

(01:13:28):
with like a Oakland Unified School District and just kind
of trying to do like strategic partnerships to give the
city advantages because you know, everybody's always kicking Oakland, like
Oakland's just down and out. But the promise you we're
not down and we're not out.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
I love him.

Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
Oh one more thing, I've always wanted to ask you,
what do you think is the biggest misconception about you?
Because a lot of people think Too Short like he
probably lives in the strip club. Well, i've heard unless
you do you do?

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
He was there twenty minutes ago, right before he came here.

Speaker 9 (01:13:59):
I've heard stuff like that about the you know, the lifestyle.
You know, is he like some kind of O G
pimp or something and all this stuff, but the womanizing
and the lifestyle that you hear a lot about in
the music as well as over the years at this age,
you know, I'm sixty now. I turned it down a bit,

(01:14:22):
a bit. I've been to two strip clubs in the
last thirty days.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Same it is my wife listening right now a lot.

Speaker 9 (01:14:35):
Well, it used to be like two a week.

Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Okay, Well then I guess yeah, you really down there.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Yeah, it's a pretty drastic production to do the math
on that.

Speaker 9 (01:14:46):
You guys are laughing, I'm dead serious. I know, like
two strip clubs in the month. I thought, you're like, wow,
that was That's really not what I thought. Yeah, you're
like pretty much on part.

Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
Well, too short. Thank you so much for we're stopping in.
We're really excited for all the new music that's out
today and still yet to come. I mean, I think
that's fans are really excited to know that it's not
going to stop anytime soon, So.

Speaker 9 (01:15:09):
We'll just say, you know, I had the Bay in
mind every song I made. I'm like, I always say
to myself, will the Bay like it?

Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
Will?
