It's one thousand dollars. Let's kick off your day with
some money.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Grant.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
What's this ours keyword?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
It's ours nation? Why keyword is credit? Use the keyword credit?
While you are streaming Wild ninety four nine on the
iHeartRadio app. You can hear a contest tab right there
and scroll down and you just type the word credit in.
If you know how to spell it, of course, and
you type that in, you might want a thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Nice. All right, we got your first talk bag. Here
we go.

Speaker 5 (00:34):
Good morning, JV Show.

Speaker 6 (00:35):
Oh my gosh, it's actually Baby Friday, not fetus Friday.

Speaker 7 (00:39):
Baby Friday.

Speaker 8 (00:41):
Hey, I'm throwing a surprise birthday party for my man
this weekend, and I was going to do a taco bar,
but it's illegal to have tacos without cilantro.

Speaker 9 (00:49):
So what do I do do?

Speaker 8 (00:51):
I just have enchiladas and no tacos because I need
cilantro for tacos.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
What do I do?

Speaker 10 (01:00):
Please?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Help please? I don't know, ladies, any advice.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Obviously, the explosive diarrhea outbreak, as we learned, Yes, we
talked about yesterday, still going strong, more and more confirmed
cases coming forward. I reported that yesterday that I think
it was six thousand something lab confirmed cases. But I
think the true number of suspected cases now was like
sixteen thousand plus or something. The number is massive, and

(01:27):
those are just because not everybody's getting tested.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I feel like to answer.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Her question, I feel like the chances of you getting it,
I mean, does any of us know anyone personally that's
gotten it?

Speaker 7 (01:37):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
No, yeah, I say still have Yeah, I say, just
go for trackles without it.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Yeah, I ate some last night. How do you feel
taco sounds last night? They were delicious?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Of course, that nice stomach is fine. Yeah, I put
on everything. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (01:52):
We have to ask that question in a week.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah, I had I had something week ago last week
on taco Wednesdays. I had some last week. So yeah,
I say go ahead and live your life. California luckily
has dodged this outbreak.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I kind of feel like we're just exempt from this like,
just eat all the lettuce, go to taco bell Oo.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Hasn't fully arrived here yet as the outbreak continues to spread.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
But yeah, so far, I've just been eating whatever I want.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
God too, I've been a little hesitant. Not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Have you avoided any particular produced items that you normally
would incorporate your diet? So like you haven't eaten any lets,
haven't done lettuce?

Speaker 7 (02:30):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Actually, actually I think I'm lying.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
I had in and out the other day.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
See, I bought lettuce the other day. But I feel
I did feel like everyone was staring.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
They were like they were watching. Is this crazyly straight
for the lettuce living under a rock? Don't you know?
The explosive diarrhea is out there?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
And you ladies both from Selenas, shouldn't you be out
there rallying and supporting Taylor Farms.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
The pride of Selenas.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Oh, I know, what have they ever done for me?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
The pride of your home town.

Speaker 7 (03:00):
There's other things that are pride of Selena.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I sat just with the pride of Selena.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
I thought, yeah, I thought the crab bucket was the
crab bucket up there for sure?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah, one of my favorite restaurant if you go, obviously
the Kawabunga flavor.

Speaker 7 (03:15):
I haven't gone in a while.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
You guys, I need to go.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
They don't have let us there, so we're safe.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah, I think you're good.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Sure, all right?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
We oh, don't forget praise of cash every single hour. Okay,
a lot of winning on this morning show. We have
Joja Cat tickets to forty jay Z tickets eight ten
coming up next though, Jess, you have a couple restaurant
related things, diner things.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Is it about the crab bucket?

Speaker 11 (03:36):
No?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Unfortunately, the JV show on Wild ninety four nine Time.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Four the four things you need a heads up on
to start your day.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
So we've all seen the video of that heroic sixteen
year old lifeguard, right writer Williams who rushed to say
that ten year old boy in Santa Cruz. He's been
invited to the White House to think as you know. Well,
he released a statement detailing he's experienced. He said, this
is my job and I love what I do and
he's thankful to his fellow lifeguards to do the same
thing every single day.

Speaker 12 (04:04):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
His grandpa said he had two more rescues after that.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
On that same day that were even more.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Quote gnarly, what my total on that day alone?

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Oh my god, man, all my days lifeguarding at the
Napol Valley Country Club, I only had one save and
it was a kid that just was struggling with the
drinking fountain. You know, the button was stuck and they
got a little water. They started coffeing, you know, they
got a little water.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
It came in two quick days. Yeah, and I saved
him all right.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Yesterday, the San Francisco Giants totally did the Brewers sixteen
to three to take two out of three games and
win the series. It's frustrating for Giants fans because where's.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
This offense been all season?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
They had seventeen hits yesterday, although my favorite one was
not a hit. It was a foul ball that bounced
right off that fans head.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Did you guys see that? Oh we need to post
that video. It just doones just got right off the
top of bounces. Oh he's bleeding.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Later, despite waving to the crowd that he's fine, a
Giants hit the road to San Diego to start a
new series with the Padres. First pitch tonight is at
six forty.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Some morning fogging clouds are out. Some morning fogging clouds
are home.

Speaker 10 (05:11):
This morning sunny skies will follow.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper eighties. The
weekend is gonna be looking nice and hot.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
You guys, Hey, Gemini besties, Today is gonna be a seven.
Someone misheard something you said recently, and now a juicy
little rumor is making the rounds. And congrats you're accidentally
the main character. Use today to track down the original
eavesdropper and gently set the record straight before the story grows.
Your Gemini words are powerful, so choose them with extra care.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Wow, that sucks.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Everyone loves a juicy little rumor.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Hey, I love I don't want to be like the
star of right. You know what I mean me on
the outside.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Let me know what that rumors about when you hear
it about yourself.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Thanks.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
On the JV Show, a couple of restaurant related things from.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Jet The JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
Four nine, Good Morning JV Show. This is I from
Hayward Happy Thursday? Is it happy for me? No? I
just want to Starbucks have a sleep. I ordered my drink,
I thought I had ordered the right drink and just
grab my drink left and when I took the first zip,
I noticed they gave me the wrong drink. Yep, they

(06:21):
just kill my morning. Anyways, have a great day, guys.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Bye bye.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Did they give you the wrong drink or did you
grab the wrong drink when they set it down the counter?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Did you order the wrong drink?

Speaker 7 (06:35):
They gave her the wrong drink.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
It's a lot of possibilities. I think they targeted.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Her Friday Thursday, watch this baby.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Friday or the JV Ship.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
By the way, I'm Selena and I'm Jess, and I
want to talk about the jelly cat Diner.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Is this ringing a bell?

Speaker 9 (06:53):
No?

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Okay, let's start here. Do you guys know what jelly
cats are?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
No?

Speaker 7 (06:56):
Okay, got a lot of learning. They are super soft
little plushies.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
They basically have anything you can think of, a pickle,
a cherry, animals, everything, and a lot of them. You
can tell that it's a jelly cat because it has
a tiny little smiley face and little legs.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Oh how cute.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
It'll be like a little pickle and it has a
smiley face and little legs. Right, So, there is.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Something in New York that's called the jelly cat Diner.
It requires a reservation for you to visit. Prices very
and basically it is like a pretend restaurant, I guess
you could say, or a pretend meal service because you
show up, you pick whichever jelly cat you want. So

(07:39):
let's say, I'm like, I want the pancakes. It's a
little stack of pancakes, a little plushy.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Stuff toy.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Okay, so.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
No, but they do prepare and I'm saying prepare in
quotes because they are pretending to prepare the food item
for you. So they'll have like a fake grill and
other you know, you know, food appliances that you would
find in a kitchen, and they, like the workers literally
go all out with like pretending to cook this jelly

(08:11):
cat for you to give you that experience.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
So it's kind of like very interactive, right.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
So people are paying around fifty to seventy per plushy
to get that experience at the Jelly Cat diner.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
So its more making it.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yes, I have an example at JB Morning Show if
you want to see some examples of workers and the
things that they do while they're quote preparing your jelly cat.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
At least mel like like the food that you're ordering.

Speaker 7 (08:43):
I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
I just watched it. It's the most cringe thing I've
ever seen in my life. It makes me so uncomfortable
for those people working there. They're like in character, and
then some of them have like you know, bartending, like
shaker and they're, oh, let me shake this up for you,
and they're shaking it around and then out of it
comes like a milkshake, stuffy, and then they just hand

(09:05):
it to you like yeah, you don't.

Speaker 7 (09:07):
They wrap it up. They put it in like a
little box, like if you got like a.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Little pizza jelly cat. They wrap it up, put in
a little a little box, and off you go with
your jelly cat experience. That just cost you like over,
oh god, over fifty to seventy dollars.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
These poor employees, like it doesn't look like they can
break character either. The whole time they're going to pretend
they're like actual chefs back there flipping burgers, and instead
it's just a stuffed animal and a frying pan.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I just don't understand the obsession with like, like I
never I had never even heard of jelly cat. Really,
my kids might have some probably do.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
People are obsessed and they are pretty pricey.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
It's like between this and like the needles and the
dumplings and just like the regular Squishi's.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Like it's just.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
It's such and they're so expensive. It's just such a waste.

Speaker 7 (09:49):
It's a lot.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Glad you're on my side. Something like this. Wow, what
if pat the words right out of my mouth?

Speaker 3 (09:55):
What if your kids were like, mom, please, Like we're
already going to be in New York.

Speaker 7 (09:59):
This is my one chance ever to know a jelly
cat diner.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Polina, you can go in without me. I can't go
in there.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
I can it's too it's too uncomfortable, and you're one
of the most awkward social situations I've ever seen staying
there and then I got to pretend for.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
You as an adult. But for kids, it might be
like a really fun experience that they want to have because.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Then when they don't have adult money, they can spend
it however they want. But right now, when it's migrown
up money, I'm not wasting it on that.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
It's a good boy.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I'm out.

Speaker 7 (10:30):
Another thing.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
A chef, you guys is facing jail time for serving
up ants.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
Lock him up.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
That's nasty.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
He apparently thought it would be a good idea to
add a little garnish to one of his desserts.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
But it was just a bunch of ants.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
What does people eat ants? Or chocolate covered ants? I've
had those before. You don't taste anything?

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Would it be good without the chocolate? Would you eat
a spoonful of ants?

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Not by choice? But doesn't mean you can't serve them? Well,
why is facing jail time?

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Well, in South Korea, that is not one of the
approved like species species that you can actually consume.

Speaker 9 (11:10):
Got it?

Speaker 7 (11:10):
So it would be different.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I guess if you could, because then we'll go for it.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
You know, eat on here.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
You could do it, and you can serve up whatever
you want. Drive by those beef jerkey stands and they're like,
we have alien jerky. We've got you know, water buffalo
nut jerseys, jerky, you know, everything.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
You've ever heard of. We're really getting alien jerkey from
it made from real aliens. I don't know, I don't know.
You could serve up whatever you want here, Nobody cares.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
That's what I was then shook if by because apparently
there are a ton of like approved I guess bugs
that you could eat. Obviously we knew grasshoppers I've actually
had grass grasshoppers before. H there's meal worms, crik Oh wait, no,
I've had crickets, not grasshoppers.

Speaker 7 (11:51):
Sorry.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Chicken termites are another are another one that's on the
approved list.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Like be.

Speaker 7 (12:01):
Like as one of them.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah, Like, there's just there's a lot of them that
are on the list. And I'm like, why did someone
ever think let me get this little bug and let
me just cook it up and add it to a meal.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
It's good protein source, you guys, and this very renewable
protein resource, you know what I mean, and very cost efficient,
you know.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
In different countries and different cultures, they you know, they
eat things that we would probably never think of here.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
And I you know, I love watching the videos.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
On on Instagram, but I just could not bring myself
to do it.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
The mill worms, I can't.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
What if it was you know, they take some of
those like crickets and stuff, they grind them up to
make like a you know, almost like a powder that
you're then using a very protein rich powder that you
could then use in other things. So it's not like
you're like chomping through the wings and the legs of
these little things. It's just ground up and it's a
very knowing what it is source.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
No, I don't even put unbugged protein powder and my stuff.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
It's funny because the crickets literally don't bother me at all.
But it's just because I've had them before. But if
I hadn't, then i'd probably be like, just.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Like it's like a whole croocket, not like a powdered thing.
It's a whole crooking you're just putting into.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah, but I mean obviously it's like they I don't
know how they like prepare them to be ready to eat,
but yeah, like obviously they're prepared. I'm not just you know,
running down the grabbing crookeets.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
So they're cooking, Like do you have greedy.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Yeah, they're all dry in your mouth, and it'd be
like they're kind of crunchy, but you have to eat
them with like obviously like something on them, like some
lemon or some salt.

Speaker 7 (13:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
It is weird the things that we pick and choose
and decide that are of live, living things that we
do eat that we're like, no, it's not gross, and
then other things like that's gross. Like what I know,
there's a lot of gross things we eat if you
really think about it.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Now, should this sorry one last thing? Should this person
be facing one year behind bars?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Nope, no, I want.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
To say no. But if it's actually illegal there and
he knew that there is, I guess yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 13 (13:53):
Four nine, Good Morning JV Show, This is a Leona
from Chico. My daughter has done the jellycat Kaffe experien
it's before in New York and it was absolutely adorable,
like they had special jelly cats that you can choose
from and you'd pay for it and they'd cook it.
We went back the following year and that's when you
had to have a reservation and it costs more than
it would have for the jelly cat because they are

(14:14):
special now. And when I went to go see if
I could book a reservation, it was a month out
and it was absolutely ridiculous. They're adorable, but not worth it.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Yeah, a month out to go to this place again.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
You got to watch the preparation of the stuffies at
this place. It's on our Instagram story jav Morning Show.
I feel so bad for those workers. Do the wait
a month more than a month to make a reservation
to go in there, just to buy a stuffed toy
that was fake fried in.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
A frying pan.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Save.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Yeah, we are truly a culture of stuff, stuff, so
much stuff.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
The other thing we were talking about is the chef
was this in South Korea?

Speaker 7 (14:56):
South Korea? Yep, he got in trouble for serving up ends.
Good Morning show.

Speaker 14 (15:00):
This Maravo from Monestos. So I actually used to date
someone who their culture would eat what they call water bugs.
It's specific sauce made out of water bugs, and funny enough,
they didn't tell me that it was water bugs until afterwards,
and eventually, I mean I led to you know, just
the initial broken trust, and yeah, the rest is history.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Wow, the broken trust from the water bug sauce ended
the entire relationships. Lena, and someone you're dating doesn't tell
you that you're scarfing down some insects.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Nah, I'm not going to break up over that, but
I'm gonna be so mad.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
What if it was delicious, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
I still want to know what I'm eating. I don't care.
I still want to know what I'm consuming.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
I would only be mad though, if they did it
as like trying to be funny, as a prank, like
to get me, like to have a reaction if they
just did it, because he he was like, hey, like
this is my culture and like I want you to
try it, but off of course, you're.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Like, just try it first four I tell you what
it is. Like, I mean, I've done that to people.

Speaker 7 (16:00):
Yeah, okay, why.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
I wouldn't break up with the person, but you still
I would still want to know what it is that
I'm eating.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Don't you want to know what you're eating when you
eat things like hot cheetos and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
I didn't you want to know what that process behind that.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
But I already know what it is.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
You can you know all that?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
I know it's a hot cheeto?

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Got it?

Speaker 7 (16:24):
And I will say that's all.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I need to know?

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Yeah, Graham, Yeah, another world record alert.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah, this one's exciting you guys.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
British man just successfully eight fifteen fish sticks in one
minute to break the world record.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
This the entire fish fish sticks.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Yeah, the fishticks. I can't tell if you're saying fish
sticks or fish. You have to be careful you say
this on the Eric. Yeah that's why I said fish
sticks fish Yeah, me too, all right?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Uh Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
This guy Nathan Davies, he's thirty two years old, and
he set out a goal for some reason. I don't
know why he's zeroed in on this world record. I'm
surprised it's not that one guy from utahm. Although I'm
assuming he's going to try to now break this record,
that guy David Rush who holds the most world records
or whatever.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I'm sure he'll try to break this one.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
And he thinks he actually could have eaten more fish
sticks if given a little bit more, just slightly better temperature,
because he said he heated him up a little too
hot and he was struggling with the hot fish sticks.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Okay, yeah, you have to be that right temperature. Yeah,
you can't have much faster. How do you guys feel
about fish sticks?

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Are you saying fish sticks? Or I can't tell what
you're saying, you.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yeah, they're okay. I'm not like, oh my god, I
would really.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
Like some right now.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Yeah, that was my thing when I was little. I
mean anything when you're little. Yeah, it's not part of
my adult's palettes anymore.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Oh, it's not in your mouth.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
It'd be like.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Fifteen. I feel like we can do that.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Though, you think you can break this world record.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
We still feed my kids fish sticks, you do. Yeah,
I don't eat it from.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Time to time, but it's more like, hey, you guys.

Speaker 7 (18:03):
Have these Fifteen doesn't seem like a lot.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
In one minute?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Oh, it still doesn't seem like a lot, actually, because
you see that these people that compete in eating contests,
they're eating like seventy two of one thing.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Yeah, why doesn't Joey Chestnut have this?

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Tey can eat like one hundred to eats seventy something
hot dogs in ten minutes. That's way more than fifteen
little dinky fish ticks.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Tiny fish sticks.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yeah, yeah, fish sticks.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Fish Yeah, that's what I shaw.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Okay, because I imagine those are pretty tiny.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Too, different kind of different kind of sticks. I saw
a video of a girl eating a stick of butter.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
By the way, what is with the butter eating?

Speaker 5 (18:41):
I see these videos all the time, but this one
in particular, she had a stick of butter and she's
dipping it into her cup of doctor pepper and then
she's like taking a bite.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Why And it doesn't even soak up that much?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Does butter even soak up that much doctor.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Peppering up any of it?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (18:56):
I don't understand it. I think it's just a gross
everybody else. You can see the video on our Instagram
story JV Morning Show Jess. You don't believe she's actually
eating it, though, because you're saying like she's cutting after,
so she's probably taking a bite, chewing it up and
like spitting it out and then you know what I mean,
she'll cut.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
The video like that, yeah, because there's another creator who
have stumbled upon her videos, and she'll have like twenty
cubes of butter set.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
Up in front of her.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
She dips it and frosting and adds sprinkles, and she
like just goes to town.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
It's so nasty.

Speaker 7 (19:25):
But you see cuts in.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
The video every single time after she puts it in
her mouth, so I don't think she's actually eating it's
it's just clickbait.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
But even still just having that much butter in your
mouth and chewing it up, you're still consuming a pretty
good amount.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
I just got a great idea, you guys know, it's
tomorrow morning eight twenty America's.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Favorite game, Jad's chug reel.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Favorite games stick a butter bite, you do a chug.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
You just have to put it in your mouth and
it'd be like I'm not doing that.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Why not.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
It's butter. You put butter on all sorts of things.
Butter's delicious.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
I'm not doing that.

Speaker 7 (20:00):
And then you have a doctor Pepper on the side.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
You get to chase it with some with some DP.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
That's better than anything else on the wheel. I will
see you would take a bite. I don't want to
give butter.

Speaker 7 (20:11):
Cut the video and then spit it out. You have
to put it in your mouth, in your mouth, and
it'd be.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Like tomorrow mornings, everybody.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
It's not at.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
Least melt the butter down.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
That's not the trend.

Speaker 7 (20:26):
That's not the trend.

Speaker 5 (20:29):
Just wants to eat butter so melted, melted, because he'll
melt the whole thing instead of you doing a little bit.

Speaker 10 (20:42):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the bag.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
So, Danny's prison release date has changed again.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
His new date. I feel like this is so soon.
I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
January twenty fourth, twenty twenty eight. This is according to
the Federal Bureau of Prisons websites, and so moved up.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
It moved up.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
Wait, but did he's been in there being bad.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
He's a bad, bad boy.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Just talked about him getting into a prison fight with
another inmate. Moved his release jay up So it was
initially supposed to be June of twenty twenty eight. That
then it got moved up to April, then February. Now
it's January of twenty twenty eight.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Yes, we was there. I know, twenty twenty six is
a year and some change.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
This year doesn't even count. This year's like it's already.
I feel like it's almost open.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
How was he almost about to be out of there?

Speaker 7 (21:37):
He just got in there, He's.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Just getting settled in.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
He's barely hold his sleeping bag on his cotton then
is that what it then sleep on? I don't know,
but whatever, he's he's had time to get in one
fight so far. He's just like just getting his feet
under him in there, right, and then he's going to
be out.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
I'm so disappointed, me too, I am so disappointed.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
The American judicial system has so many.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
It really did fail us.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
Yes, did you see that Ben affleck one on who
wants to be a millionaire?

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Last night?

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Wait? Who wants to be a millionaire? Still thing?

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Apparently it is.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You know, I'm the.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Host, Jimmy Kimmel.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
Really yeah, well I don't so this is the Celebrity Edition.
I don't know if Jimmy Kimmel, I'm sorry, somebody listening
knows the answer to this. I don't know if he
is just like the Celebrity Edition host or like the
regular show hosts.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
I don't have the answer to that final answer. That
is my final answer.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Okay, that you don't know the answer? Yes, got it.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
But Ben was on there.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
He was paired with Jamie Ding, who is like one
of the Jeopardy champions, and on last night's episode, they
answered the fifteenth and final question correctly to take home
the grand prize, which is a million dollars. It's going
to be basically donated to Ben Affleck's foundation, the Eastern
Congo Initiative. But here was the final question that they
were asked in an annual Thanksgiving tradition, All but which

(22:55):
of these has been the names of Turkey's pardoned by
a US president?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
If you know the answergram, Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
These are all all but one of them is not.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Yes, all but which of these has been the names
of Turkey's pardons by the President? For Thanksgiving, Oka being
a butter and jelly.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
I remember them.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
Tater Tot, sorry, tater and tot, Mac and cheese, Spaghetti
and meatball.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Spaghetti and meatball.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Oh my god, how'd you know?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Because I remember some of those other ones?

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, one I'd never heard of.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Spaghetti was the answer. And they won the million dollars.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
How much do I get?

Speaker 2 (23:28):
None? It's all going to Ben's Foundations.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Sorry, that's stupid.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
All right, Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 9 (23:34):
All right?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Let's talk w NBA. The league is having a breakout year.
TV viewership is up forty something percent. This year's All
Star Game had a larger in stadium attendance than the
NBA's All Star Game, and it seems like this should
be the league's year and just moment to shine. But
the WNBA can't seem to get out of their own way.
They've faced a brage of drama both on and off

(23:55):
the court this season, and now they're on social media
account posted a video of their players do it and
uh oh something they shouldn't be in the video. Dallas
Wings Guard Page Buker's and Atlanta dream Ford Angel Reese.
They make a bet on the game that they played.
I think it was yesterday. Apparently this beat happened over
the All Star weekend. The two make a friendly four

(24:15):
hundred dollars wager on the game, and oh wait, if
there's one thing we know about pro sports, you're not
supposed to be gambling on the games. Definitely should not
be gambling on the games that you're going to be
playing in. Although it is a friendly wager between the
two of them, and it's not like they're a little
different sports bookie, it is a little different, except that

(24:37):
the rules in all these leagues have very explicit instructions
not for the players not to be gambling and not
to be gambling on the games. These two could be
subject to a fine, suspension and or dismissal and disqualification
from any further association with the WNBA. That's according to

(24:58):
their own collective bargaining agreement in the WNBA. Again, it's
up to the WNBA commissioner to hand down any punishment here.
I'm assuming they will have some sort of stern talking to,
but I don't know if they're going to face any
real you know, like they're not going to get banned
for life from the game or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
Because I felt like, dinner, one of them are going
to throw the game, Like do you know what I mean?
I feel like the I don't know, just the circumstances
very different.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
I get that, But there are.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Other guys, and I mean, we're looking at one quarterback
in college football that last season. You know, the guy
was betting on his team to win games and he
was playing in those games, you know what I mean. Like,
it's still a no no, even though you're betting your
team to win, but it's still something you can't do
and it's against the rules. And it'd be one thing

(25:43):
if this got posted on somebody else's social media account
and we found out about it, there'd be something. But
the WNBA themselves, the league, you're posting this video of
your players betting, and then you're like, oh who who whoo,
and then they delete the video, like who's running the
show over there?

Speaker 5 (26:00):
Investigated though maybe it was just something fun they did,
like on camera.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Maybe they're not actually betting betting.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Well, they were.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
It was a friendly wager against each other. Whether or
not they money ever change hands, it probably didn't. It
doesn't matter, Okay, if this happened between player if players
in name your other sport, there would be an outcry
about it. You're not supposed to be these players are
not supposed to be gambling.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
So fine rules are rules.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
Follow the rules, Speaking teacher.

Speaker 1 (26:27):

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Did you wear a broch?

Speaker 9 (30:34):

Speaker 1 (30:34):
I was in high school.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
It's definitely not the Yeah, I used to wear one,
just kind of on the day, day to day.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Give me one second. I pushed the button. Talk about yourself.

Speaker 7 (30:46):

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Yeah, maybe I will. It's a very fashionable piece of
you know, fashion.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Morning JV Show.

Speaker 11 (30:53):
I think the bleeped out word is flask.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
Maybe you're sneaking a little liquor in there.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Okayah, guys, flask.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Now that's a great guess.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Graham, you were an innocent teenager who only did good things.
You weren't sneaking liquor into places.

Speaker 15 (31:11):
I was.

Speaker 9 (31:11):
I was.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
You were an angel.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Most of my high school career was Yes, I was
getting in trouble with a lot of pranks and things
like that, but I you know, I wasn't sneaking flast.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Into the dances. What a great example may have been
pre gaming a little bit. Hey, JV Show, this is
a target from Brentwood.

Speaker 12 (31:27):
It's been a while since Andy Klements.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
I think the bleeped out word today is pager. You're
poked with your pager? All right, guys, have a good day.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Only twenty and a half my grandparents told me about pagers.
I have never owned a page. I've never owned No,
I wouldn't even know what that old piece looks like,
but no I did. I've never owned a pager.

Speaker 8 (31:50):
Hike morning, missus Jamie from today's bleeped out word boutineer. Thanks, guys,
have a great day.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Yeah, it was today's clip unbleep.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
I remember being so nervous at high school dances that
my booteer was going to poke into my date. Those
things were just being held on by one pin, just
that it was a needle, you know, and if you
didn't thread it through correctly, then that poke heads and
was going to stick out.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
And yeah, you go give your data hug or you're dancing.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
A little too close, and next thing you know, they're bleeding,
they've lost an eye.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
You weren't scared that it was going to poke you.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Well, you are nervous when somebody's putting that thing on
you that it's going to poke you. But after that,
you're you're worried about the needles sticking like outwork.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
You would have thought that after all this time, they
would have come up with a better way to attach
those things.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Why isn't it just a clip on? Why doesn't it
just have a little clip and.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Then a safety pin where like the other end goes
into like a protective.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Yeah, every time it was always that one stupid pine
needle and you get it and you'd get it pinned
on there, and then later by the time you showed
up to the dance of things sagging down to the
side and stooping or swung all the way around. Yeah,
why isn't why.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
You guys can start and make some money.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Off of it.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Right before we give the shout outs, because we have
a little extra time here, slam a ten bucks.

Speaker 7 (33:23):
B o U t E.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
B o U t A.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
It's not going well.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
You you're the best speller I know you have a
knack of skill, and you're not even sniffing that.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
You're not even halfway through the.

Speaker 7 (33:38):

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Enjoy your brand new JV show, Chuckmunk. You could pin
that on the front of yourself, just to let everybody know, Look,
I won a JV show, Chuckmunk. You could turn it
into a broach if you will with a hot new gun.
Of course, a lot of other people came with correct
chances this morning, so I shout them all out. My
Lean and Danville had it. Soda Grace in San Breno.

poking you.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Thing never stays there. It's dangerous.

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Yeah, Hi, guys, this is Jamie from San Jose.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
Again.

Speaker 8 (35:23):
I just wanted to say, since you were talking about
the Buccaneers. As a former wedding planner, they do have
alternatives to pins these days.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
They have magnets.

Speaker 8 (35:33):
They work amazing and you can always request them. If
you're planning a wedding from your flower person, they should
have it if they don't find another flower person. If
you needed to find a flower person.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Let me know.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
Jeszz oh, Jamie and Santose. She won our What's the
Bleep game a minute ago, so congrats to her. She's
getting a brand new JV show, Chuckmunk, and she says,
a magnet version of the botaneer. That's so much safer,
much safer, and much smarter and a lot less awkward,
probably to put on fort But.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Those are also the tiny little things that I've had
not even crossed my mind when it comes to like
fighting a wedding.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Well, Jamie just offered to help you plan your wedding.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
Hey, Jamie, all right, let's go to the phone.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Good morning, Josh, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
Happy all right, Josh, you are going to be playing
for tickets for Lily Allen. Here's how this is gonna work.
We're gonna ask you for random trivia questions. You just
got to get three correct. If you can do that,
the tickets are yours. Are you ready? I'm sorry? Yeah, Well,
here we go. Question number one, Yankee Doodle stuck a

(36:45):
feather in his hat and called it what it is
and called it He called it macaroni.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Macar macaroni.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
I'm still not sure what that means or whatever.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Macaroni.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
All right.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Question number two, that's okay, you can mess one. Question
two in the early two thousands, what wireless phone service
provider use the ad slogan?

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Can you hear me?

Speaker 11 (37:23):
Now?

Speaker 2 (37:27):
There it is?

Speaker 1 (37:28):
That's correct.

Speaker 5 (37:29):
Question number three in blackjack, what two values can ace
be counted as.

Speaker 9 (37:37):
As a one and as a eleven? Ye?

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Easy, easy, there you go.

Speaker 15 (37:42):
All right, there you go.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
And it's coming down to the final question. You need
this one to win the game and win those little
Island tickets. Question number four in what country would you
find people searching for the lockeness monster.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
That's going to be in Scotland?

Speaker 9 (38:04):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Nicely?

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Who good job? And now you get to check out
Lily Allen September twenty second at the Paramount Theater in Oakland.

Speaker 7 (38:16):
Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
Oh that's so awesome.

Speaker 14 (38:18):
I appreciate y'all so much.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
We appreciate you. Thank you for being on. Don't hang
up and I put you on hold really quick there.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Good morning JV crew.

Speaker 11 (38:26):
It's without the haircut, you know, in lieu of it
being at Rick Bran this week on the JV Show.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
I was gonna give you another fun fact, but after
listening to yesterday's podcast, I heard something during the intro, Selena,
after you introduce yourself, then Graham, Graham, you said a
little defeated. Is everything? Okay, buddy, I mean you're like
I'm Graham. I mean you have it's kid free week.
You should you should have a little pep in your
step or maybe you are drained, if you know what

(38:52):
I mean. Okay, buddy, you I am a bit drained
this week.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Not a wink wink, only beca because look, I set
a goal for some reason, I don't remember why, but
that I was gonna run two miles every day, and Selena,
I'm on day six or day seven right now. I
have yet to miss a day since starting last week,
I've been running. I've been going to the gym and
then in the afternoons, I've been going for a two
mile well.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
I can't really call it a run, it's more of
a job.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
But I've been I've been following through and I will
be running again today and then tomorrow and then I
don't know after that.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
But you know that's pretty good.

Speaker 5 (39:26):
And that's because of the Herbert Camp Flex Off coming up.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Yeah, he's a camping trip with the boys, and of
course you know you want to win the flex off
and then you know, be able to flex and everyone
and but you know, little changes each day lead to
big changes in your life. So hopefully I inspire somebody
to tackle that fitness goal Selena, like you tackling that.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Splits goal that you said a few years ago. Wear
you out on that one.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
I think I'm just gonna throw that out like I
threw out my back on gym one time this week.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
You could if you just worked at it a little
bit at a time, you try to do this.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
I've always thought that was something I wanted to do,
but like, just realistically, at this point, it just if
it hasn't happened yet, I'm just gonna cross it off
my bucket list.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
I think it's probably a wise decision. I was writing
this article written by the Splits King. I guess he said,
that's really really good at doing the splits and teaching
people how to do the splits. And he said, you
better set aside about eighteen months of consistent mud stratching,
and that's what it takes the average person to be
able to do the splits and not injure themselves.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
I knew it would take a long time because you
have to like stretch little by little every single day.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Yep, little by little every day for about a year.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
I don't know, take that long.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
That's what the splits King is saying. So, yeah, you
might as well just hang it up.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
What does he know?

Speaker 4 (40:40):
Splits a king, he knows everything about this place.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
So we have jay Z tickets coming up eight ten,
you guys. But next today's hot is trending.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
We have to talk about BTS boycotting the Grammys.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 16 (40:54):
What's Up JV Show, It's Andrew and Pleasant hill Man.
That Magic Matt mix at seven thirty five, I have
that throwback was so sick. It was banger after banger,
it was slapper after slapper. I was enjoying my drive
into work, and then they came out of the mix,
and you guys were all hyped. I think the whole
bay was hyped down that mix.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Good job magic, Matt.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
Yeah, Why why can't he play songs like I Got
five on it and blow the whistle from too Short
It's too.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
Short coming in tomorrow?

Speaker 5 (41:23):
I think we are gonna be hanging with too Short
ye coming out.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
But I mean, why can't we just play that every day?

Speaker 3 (41:30):
That's not how it works, That's not how the cookie
crumbled the.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
Boss listen right now, he's listening. Okay, yeah, yeah, that
would be cool.

Speaker 15 (41:36):
Cool.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
Before we get to today's hot is trending.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Couple things.

Speaker 5 (41:40):
One, there's something you gotta go see on our Instagram story.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yep, have you watched it yet? Later?

Speaker 2 (41:46):
I watched it finally, all right.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
Yes, yesterday's Giants game. Giants taking on the Brewers. As
somebody hit a foul ball in it went way up
in the sky, and then there was a guy sitting
there in the lower tech. Dude, it just bounced right
off the top of his dome so hard.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
He had no idea the ball was coming.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
I don't think it looked like he was looking at
the office dression and then the ball bounces so high
off of his head and he waves to the crowd
because I think the crowd's like, oh man, that guy's
got to be badly injured, and he's like, no, guys,
I'm fine and fine.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
But then when he sits standing and see the top
of his head is bleak.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
Yeah, he has like the biggest gash on the top
of his head and he's like waving down everyone like
I'm good, I'm good.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
I can't stop watching that video because the way the
ball bounces off of his head, it bounces.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
So JAV Morning Show right there on Instagram and today's
is Trending is sponsored.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
By Bye Hennessy And can I get an alert blue Blio?

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Hang uh, because you listening right now, you still have
the chance to get hooked up with these tickets for
Saturday outside Lands courtesy of Waldady for nine and Hennessy.
So head on over to our Instagram right now. That's
Wildady for nine entered to win those Saturday tickets, by
the way to sold out that day.

Speaker 7 (42:53):
So you want these tickets.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Yeah, it's like the only way you're gonna get it.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
And then when you're there at Outside Lance, which returns
the seventh through the ninth of August. You got to
stop by the Hennessy Social Club for a refreshing Hennessy
Strawberry lemonade.

Speaker 7 (43:05):
I'm gonna be there on the seven.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
So we can have a little drinky drink together. You
must be twenty one or older.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
To enjoy responsible.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
God host drinking. It's all the stuff you need.

Speaker 10 (43:17):
To know what's hot in music, movies, shows and the
most talked about stories happening today in the face so Us.

Speaker 5 (43:24):
Shure got up on stage and he shaded that girl
who he had to kick off the stage. Over the weekend,
in case you missed it, Usher and Chris Brown, they
took their tour to Nashville, and like they normally do,
they have a girl up there, like you know, one
of the sexy ladies from the audience, and they bring
her up and they serenade her.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Things got a little.

Speaker 5 (43:41):
Freaky sometimes and they're all over each other.

Speaker 9 (43:44):
Well.

Speaker 5 (43:45):
During Usher set at this particular show, the girl who
had been picked out to go on stage was not
feeling it at all. She was stiff and just like
not into it. So Usher kicked her off the stage
and by the way, She later said that she was
there for Chris Brown and Chris Brown only that's why
she was like that. A lot of people not feeling
in her attitude, by the way, But earlier this week,
I think this was Tuesday night, they took their tour

(44:05):
the Birmingham, Alabama and Usher referenced that stiff girl. He said,
don't bring it's up here if you don't want to

(44:26):
be here. He said, God don't like ugly, but he
most certainly doesn't feel too good about pretty privilege either.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (44:33):
I just.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
I want to like kind of laugh at this situation though,
because I feel like Usher got his ego hurt. Like
I feel like, especially after finding out that that woman
would have acted differently had it been Chris Brown.

Speaker 7 (44:47):
Chris Brown's a younger one on the tour, just saying.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
Did he get a little he gets his feelings.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
He probably did.

Speaker 7 (44:54):
He's being salty about it.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
Find out that your buddy got chosen by a woman
over you.

Speaker 5 (44:59):
But it's also like, this is a show, this is
a production that has to go on. That's why they
have people scout ladies before the show even starts. We're
going up there knowing you're gonna go out on stage
some point, like if you're not down to do that
and then go along with the show that you're signing
up for when they pick you out in the crowd
and ask if you want to go to VIP and
then on the stage like you said yes.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
If you don't want you, then don't.

Speaker 7 (45:22):
But everybody's gonna act different on that stage.

Speaker 5 (45:24):
But that is like, that is like somebody, uh who,
I don't know. We somebody wants to share a story
on this show and bring you on and like you're
all like excited about it when you're telling us off
the air. Then you bring you on the air and
you're just like and it happens. Yeah, it happens all
the time, but it doesn't. That kind of like ruin
the vibe a little bit, A little bit, That's all
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Here. Is she a victim?

Speaker 11 (45:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
She's a victim?

Speaker 4 (45:48):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
But I just hope he doesn't keep dragging it all like, Okay,
we get it.

Speaker 5 (45:53):
He's had other show since I think, Yeah, I think
a little bit. Yeah, BTS is boyting the Grammys.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
Uh oh.

Speaker 5 (46:01):
So last month, the Academy announced a new category that's
going to be introduced at the next Grammys, which is
going to be in February twenty twenty seven. Best Asian
Pop Music Performance. Well, yesterday, every member of BTS posted
on their individual Instagram stories that they will not be
submitting themselves for consideration for any Grammys during its eligibility period.

(46:23):
As for why they don't want their music boxed in,
you know, just like to one category that's based on
region or language.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
So they're like, we're just not going to do it.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
Why aren't they just why isn't it all just limped
in with Best Pop Performance?

Speaker 1 (46:38):
Why does that make separate categories?

Speaker 5 (46:40):
That's and that's how That's how they felt. So they're like,
we're just not gonna We're not going to do it
this year.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
Is there a category for Best Canadian Pop Performance?

Speaker 2 (46:48):
I don't think so. I don't think so, the.

Speaker 1 (46:50):
CEO A category for Best Mexican Pop Performance.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
No, not Mexican.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
No interesting now.

Speaker 5 (46:56):
The CEO of the Academy released a statement last night
saying they're really sad and to hear that BTS will
not be participating, and that their intention by adding this
new category was to recognize more artists, never to divide anyone,
and that submitting your work for a genre specific category
doesn't exclude you from being considered in the general categories
like best Album, you know, best song, you know, all

(47:18):
these other like the major the main categories.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
They still would have been considered for those as well.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
Are there categories I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (47:27):
Well, they're they're also adding best Latin Song, Okay, yeah.

Speaker 7 (47:31):
But I feel like that's so different.

Speaker 5 (47:33):
Well, they wanted to recognize, you know, all of the
K pop and there's you know, but yeah, I very
mixed feelings about this category, right.

Speaker 3 (47:43):
I see what they're saying about like not wanting to
be boxed in because I mean, BTS is huge everywhere
within every culture, like it's.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (47:52):
I wonder if they could could have submitted their music
but like just for the general categories and said, we
don't want to be boxed and don't consider us for
that when we want to be treated like everybody else
that's nominated.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (48:05):
Regardless, they've already they've already put out their statements on
Instagram they are not participating in this next Grammys and
they're going to stand on business.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
By the way, A.

Speaker 5 (48:15):
Couple of new categories that they're also adding, along with
Best Latin Song, Best R and B Collab, Best Traditional
Folk Album.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
I just feel like we.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
Don't need a lot of these, Okay, February seventh, it's
going to be on ABC, Disney Plus.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
And Hulu.

Speaker 4 (48:29):
I mean, there's one thing we know about awards shows,
the behind the scenes they make up their own rules.

Speaker 5 (48:33):
Yeah, basically you already know that, Graham, what.

Speaker 7 (48:36):
Do you have?

Speaker 9 (48:36):
Alright?

Speaker 4 (48:36):
Got some good news and some bad news for Niner
fans this morning. First the good news, Brock Party and
his wife Jenna announced on Instagram yesterday baby number two
is on the way, you guys. The couple welcomed Millie
Jolene Perdy. They're first born into the world in just
July of last year, and apparently Party was busy this
offseason because number two already on the way. So congrats

(49:00):
them lucky kids. You know, Dad's got a two hundred
and sixty five million dollar contract right now. So that's
tine all right. Now to the Niners bad news. They
can't seem to shake the injury bug once again. We
talked a bunch about head coach Kyle Shanahan's extensive injuries
stemming from his car crash. Well, now the players at
training camp and the Electric substation, of course, just said
hold my beer.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
First.

Speaker 4 (49:19):
Ricky Piersol, wide receiver, already having knee problems. He missed
yesterday's practice with some swelling in his right knee. We
know that right knee was the one that he injured
his pcl in last season forced him to miss six
games and he was never quite right the rest of
the season, even once he came back that he seemed
to be bothering him. A second year running back Jordan James,
also out of practice yesterday. He suffered a rib fracture

(49:42):
in Monday's practice. Perfect safety Malc Mustafa he's out with
the straight hamstring. And then wide receiver Christian Kirk he
either had some hamstring or calf injuries that he's dealing with.
Rookie defensive end Romelo Height he had to be carted
off the field on Monday with cramps. It was really bad.
He was back at practice yesterday luckily. But I mean, guys,

(50:03):
can we just like have one Can we just.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Healthy?

Speaker 4 (50:08):
Can we wrap all these guys in bubble wrap? Let's
let's just get to the season. And hopefully, can we
have one year where every guy's not hurt? Last year
was insane. Everybody got hurt. Can this be the year
where everyone like stays healthy? And I don't know, maybe
a team like the Rams. Could they have all the
injuries this year? Is their practice facility next to an
electrical substation?

Speaker 5 (50:25):
No?

Speaker 2 (50:25):
That, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Darn it.

Speaker 6 (50:27):
You have the manifested Graham Selena, you're the manifesto on
the show.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Could you manifest no injuries this season?

Speaker 2 (50:34):
Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (50:35):
If I manifest no injuries and I'm focused on that,
the universe is going to take that as like I'm
just you know, I'm just manifesting injuries and I'm thinking
about it.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Then I'm gonna end up getting injured.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
So then manifest health health.

Speaker 5 (50:46):
Yet there we go help.

Speaker 1 (50:47):
So she just jinks the team.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
Yeah, thanks, that was actually you, Graham, since you brought
it up.

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Next on the JV show, your chance to win a
thousand bucks in the car Razy Cash Plus. I told
my husband something last night like about my upbringing and
he just could not believe the words that came out
of my mouth. I want to share this with you next,
and I'm hoping that I'm not the only one. I'm
kind of hoping that maybe Jess can, like I can't
wait to hear about something just like Jess and I

(51:12):
have in common.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
I don't know, but I'm gonna talk about that next.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 5 (51:18):
So last night, me and my husband were just like
hanging out before bed and he's like, man, you know
what I haven't had in so long? Sloppy Joes. And
I looked at him and I'm like, okay, I've never
had that before. He's like, what, You've never had a
sloppy Joan. I'm like, like, why when do my parents

(51:38):
look like someone who would like make sloppy Joes for
dinner on a Wednesday night? Like, No, that never happened.
I never had a sloppy Joe. And he just could
not believe it. And then he made me watch videos
like recipe.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
Videos you're making it to like.

Speaker 5 (51:53):
Show me what it was and like how to make it.
And I think he's expecting me to like add that
to our like our dinner.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
You know what I haven't had in a while, a
sloppy Joe. Now I want one.

Speaker 5 (52:05):
So I'm hoping I'm not the only one. I was like,
you know who else probably has never had a sloppy Joe.
And I'm hoping, I'm hoping I'm right. Jess, have you
ever had a sloppy Joe?

Speaker 1 (52:14):
You never had a sloppy Joe.

Speaker 3 (52:16):
I always wanted a sloppy Joe because I don't know
if I'm correct about the movie, but it takes two
with the Olsen Twins.

Speaker 7 (52:23):
They in that movie. I'm pretty sure it's that one.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
They have some sloppy Jo's and they make it look
so delicious, and I always wanted one growing up.

Speaker 7 (52:31):
But again, like that's not.

Speaker 3 (52:32):
Something i'd be like, hey, mom, I don't even know
how to say sloppy John Spanish, so.

Speaker 1 (52:38):
We could work on that. You guys didn't never have.

Speaker 4 (52:41):
I feel like when I was in elementary school, I
feel like the food of the cafeteria, I feel like
there was a sloppy Joe day. Like I feel like
sloppy Joe's was something that got served to us.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
I don't recall that thing.

Speaker 7 (52:52):
No, there was like chicken, sandwich.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
Pizza, spaghetti. I remember the spaghetti.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
Yeah, we had a sloppy Joe and we used to
make Sloppy Joe's. My mom would make them as well.
That's like just standard. But I thought kind of thought
maybe it's WPS. I'm glad that your man is a
Sloppy Joe.

Speaker 5 (53:09):
Well, yeah, he's like he's like my mommy does like
every week.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
It was like a go to like the.

Speaker 5 (53:16):
Un I've never I knew it was like, you know,
ground beef something I never.

Speaker 3 (53:23):
Are you never had it gonna add it to them
any I feel like I have to now for him,
But I know, I know the kids aren't gonna eat it.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
They don't eat anything. They're so damn picky. So I mean,
it would be just for him.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
That's what Sloppy Joe's were. They were a kid crowd pleaser.
That's why Sloppy don't.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
It's anything but Dinald chicken nuggets.

Speaker 5 (53:43):
And they won't even eat mac and cheese anymore.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
I don't know, they don't eat anything.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
They don't like mac and cheese, No, not anymore.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
They decided they don't like it anymore.

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Like I don't know, I swear to God, peanut butter,
jelly sandwiches, dinal chicken nuggets, and any type of berry.

Speaker 1 (53:59):
They don't like berries.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
No, I mean that's all they eat.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
That's all they eat.

Speaker 4 (54:02):
I was like, dang, I was like, I can't even
yesterday I ate a raspberry for the first time like
ten years because I never get to eat one because
my kids house them all so quickly.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
You know what else I've never had before?

Speaker 1 (54:12):
What?

Speaker 5 (54:13):
And I'm hoping I'm not the only one.

Speaker 7 (54:15):
You are?

Speaker 1 (54:17):
You are?

Speaker 2 (54:18):
I've never had a stuffed bell pepper.

Speaker 3 (54:21):
That wait stuffed as in like stuffed with a ground meat.

Speaker 2 (54:24):
Yeah, oh I've had that.

Speaker 5 (54:25):
I've made you have.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
Okay, I've never had that before.

Speaker 7 (54:28):
Those are really good.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
That's an easy to make go to dinner. Also, yeah,
make those in my house. That's what I ate the
night before. One of the far targeting in this mouth.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
That's a different story.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
She's like, both peppery, it's bad, but that kind of peppery.

Speaker 5 (54:45):
With the sloppy Joe thing, like really through my husband,
He's like, what do you mean?

Speaker 2 (54:48):
He thought I was joking? He like, did not believe me?

Speaker 11 (54:51):
Dude?

Speaker 7 (54:52):
We should try some.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
I want one, Yes, that sloppy jokes because I don't
want to make it myself.

Speaker 4 (54:58):
There should be there's got to be a san Francisco's
got every got every food truck under the sun. There
has to be a sloppy Joe food truck out there
somewhere in the Bay Area.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
Right, I'm sure there is.

Speaker 7 (55:07):
Can make us about.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
Yeah, I love a sloppy Joe. I remember the cafeteria
ones school. They were okay, but the ones your mom made,
those were the best.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
Those were the good.

Speaker 5 (55:19):
Maybe will your make us some?

Speaker 4 (55:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (55:21):
Will you ask Mama Herbert?

Speaker 4 (55:24):
Yeah, I'm gonna see her this weekend.

Speaker 5 (55:27):
Original Herbert recipe. If you can try a sloppy Joe.

Speaker 4 (55:30):
Yeah, I feel like you can probably get it out
of a can and you just heat it up two
buns and you're done.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
I don't want that, Yeah, I wanted like homemade from Yeah,
the old, the old Herbert recipe that's been passing down
from generations to the generation.

Speaker 4 (55:43):
Yeah, by sloppy Joe's or brown reddish brown.

Speaker 5 (55:49):
All right, Coming up next, we are going to be
kicking off our meeting in the Ladies Room.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
The JV Show. I'm Selena and I'm dress Happy Thursday.

Speaker 5 (55:58):
Things hanging out with us all right, before we can
off our meeting, in the ladies room, a lot of
Sloppy Joe's talked back.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
You guys, if there's two things we have now learned
about JV show listeners that have ignited the most talkback
discussion in a while, Rick moranis this week, it's unofficial
Rick Rana this week, but now it's also unofficial Sloppy
Joe Week because the title wave of Sloppy Joe talkbacks
coming in now.

Speaker 5 (56:17):
I revealed to my husband, answer you guys that I've
never had one.

Speaker 2 (56:21):
My husband couldn't believe it. Thankfully, Jess, you've never had one.

Speaker 7 (56:24):
No neither I want one.

Speaker 5 (56:25):
Just me this You.

Speaker 17 (56:27):
Sent you from Discovery Bay saying here, I love Sloppy Joe's,
and my parents were Mexican. They've never made them, don't
you know. It's not something I grew up eating.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
In the house.

Speaker 17 (56:38):
But for sure, there was a Sloppy Joe day in
elementary school, my favorite elementary school meal.

Speaker 5 (56:46):
I mean, maybe maybe there at my school. I'm sure,
I'm sure was a thing I don't remember. I mean,
if there was, if there was something that my school
was serving that I just didn't like or whatever, I
just wouldn't like to see.

Speaker 4 (56:57):
If you passed by and you could have had a
sensation in your mouth.

Speaker 15 (57:01):
Hey, justin from.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
Sam Pavo here.

Speaker 4 (57:03):
Thank you Selena, and thank your man more for reminding
me that I haven't had a sloppy Joe in years
and now I want one.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
But mine's gotta have cheese, all right, have a great
day you guys.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Rock Does it have to have cheese on it?

Speaker 1 (57:16):
No, it does not. The traditional one does not, but
that's not a bad idea.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
Toast the bun, little melty cheese on there and then
the sloppiness.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
Good morning, guys for sloppy Joe's.

Speaker 15 (57:27):
I definitely had it at my elementary school, definitely not
at home in my Asian household.

Speaker 13 (57:32):
My mom would have been like, why is this burger
falling apart?

Speaker 4 (57:39):
It's a little different. It's definitely different, but they're delicious.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (57:43):
I've tried a sloppy dough for the very first time
this year. It is so good. I'm Mexican, so that
was not part of our menu, so I get it.
But you should try it because it's really easy to make,
it's cheap, and you can just feed it to.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
All your kids.

Speaker 5 (58:02):
See, I'm down to try it.

Speaker 2 (58:04):
I'm down to try it.

Speaker 5 (58:04):
But Graham, will you for really ask your mom if
she'll like, I want to try like the Herbert recipe.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
I'm telling you the Herbert recipe, and a lot of
people will thank you. To everybody left to talk back.
We can only do so many Sloppy Joe's talkbacks, you
know in our contract, and a lot of people are
saying the canned one is very good. You can buy
it already pre like you know the meat in the canon.
You just heat it up and slap it on a
toasted bun and you're done. Or you're basically just you're

(58:29):
just browning ground beef, right, just like you would be
making spaghetti or something like that, or.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Tacos or whatever.

Speaker 4 (58:35):
You're just doing that and you're just getting the little
McCormick seasoning packet that's for Sloppy Joe's. You throw that
in there with the water and then stirred around.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
You're done. It's that easy.

Speaker 4 (58:43):
You add other stuff to it, of course, but that's
like the baseline. That's why Sloppy Joe's such an easy, quick, easy,
mean interesting guest.

Speaker 3 (58:51):
Jof I googled it and apparently some other names for
him are man Witch.

Speaker 4 (58:56):
Yeah, the Manwitch or a Lushburger. I've never heard that
one Man, which I think is a brand. I think
they make their own I thought they.

Speaker 1 (59:03):
Maybe made their own camp ready to go for the
man with.

Speaker 5 (59:06):
Man which is Yeah, it's so fun.

Speaker 7 (59:10):
It just sounds like a really fun thing to eat, you.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Know, Sorvy. Now, can I get some moms slack Jones.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
Now for the entire show?

Speaker 1 (59:18):
Yes, whip them up?

Speaker 7 (59:20):
All right.

Speaker 5 (59:20):
We are going to just you know, hold off on
our meeting and the ladies room for just a quick second.
We're gonna get twit next because I do want to
talk about this new trends that I saw online. Apparently
a lot of ladies in Hollywood have also or have
already been doing this trend at like big events, and
I will say this, it's bad news for any ladies

(59:41):
like myself who like the thick, long, exaggerated fake eyelashes.
I'll give you more details coming.

Speaker 1 (59:51):
Up next the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 7 (59:55):
I think there's the idea.

Speaker 5 (59:56):
Thanks for hanging out with us, the lads.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
Where's my jewelry?

Speaker 5 (01:00:06):
So there is a new trend that I've seen online
that apparently has been a thing I want to say
all summer, maybe even before. I want to know how
Jess feels about this. Sorry, Graham, I feel like you're
probably not gonna have too much of an opinion.

Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
You do, it doesn't matter because you're not a lady anyway.

Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
Okay, I still do want to know what you think.

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
But the new trend is ghost slashes.

Speaker 5 (01:00:33):
Ghost ghost lashes is like the opposite of like the dramatic,
like fake lash look ghost slashes very minimal, almost not there.
And they're pointing out to celebs who have gone to
like red carpet events, right, these are like big movie
premieres or award shows or whatever, and they're going and
like not even putting in putting on mascarabrows close like

(01:01:00):
but eyelashes and lashes form ghost eyebrows.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Is ghost slashes. Yeah, and I think some of.

Speaker 5 (01:01:09):
Them are still wearing mascara, but like very minimal, like
barely any they're definitely not doing the extensions or like
the lash strips ghost slashes out.

Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
I don't like anything.

Speaker 3 (01:01:20):
I'm out immediately because even me with muscara, I wish
my lashes were longer and with more volume, Like I
want them to be bigger and just naturally.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
So if I don't have anything in my eyes, I
look like I look bald.

Speaker 7 (01:01:35):
It looks weird on me. So I personally couldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
I need something there same.

Speaker 4 (01:01:41):
I guess I need to see a picture of this again.
I'm not allowed to have an opinion apparently in this
meeting in the lady's room.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
But in my head, and you don't wear mascara or
do the fake.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Lashes, but I can still weigh in on the look.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
I mean, in my mind, it's like it's like fake
nails great when they get too long.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Gross sveil a little bit. The lashes like have a
fuller lash.

Speaker 4 (01:01:59):
Shirt did some of these fake ones with extensions get
way too ridiculously long and not a good look? In
my mind, I would also say that, but I don't
know how far removed. If the ghost slashes too far
back the other way, I may not.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
Be here for it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:12):
Yeah, I think it's I think it's too far back
because it's not even like like a fuller natural lash.

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
It's just like like minimal, just like you get disappeared
the lashes that you were born with.

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
Can I ask, so are they are they because I
can see this working if you're not wearing any makeup
at all, or like the just the slightest bit. But
I wouldn't see this working if you're doing a full
face of makeup and just no lashes at all.

Speaker 7 (01:02:36):
So it's more for the natural looks.

Speaker 5 (01:02:38):
I mean these were but these were ladies. Zindaia was
one of them, red carbon evet. She's got a full
face on, she's got makeup on, but the ghost lashes.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Because every single time I do my makeup, the lashes
are what bring it all together, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Say, but I think this is just this is you know,
we're out of touch.

Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
Just wow, times are changing, the trends are changing. It
went too far one direction. Now it's it's pendulum. It's
going to swing back the other direction. Did anybody ever
find Miley Cyrus's eyebrows that time that she lost some
intead of word show?

Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
They are back there again, They're back.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:03:07):
I mean I rather do no eyelashes than no eyebrows.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Thank you. Yeah, out a little bit. I feel like
Lady Gaga does that one as well.

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
Sometimes it's like, once, Jess, you have something for our
meeting in the ladies room.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Yeah, I want to talk about the list.

Speaker 7 (01:03:25):
That this woman shared online. She said, this is a
list that her ex husband.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
Gave to her, kind of saying like, look, since we've
been in a relationship, these are some of the things
that I have had to give up for you. So
you want to share these with you and you let
me know what you think.

Speaker 7 (01:03:43):
He said, every woman that I could.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Have slept with since you and I got together, I
had to give that up.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
That was a sacrifice.

Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
But you don't tell this to that person.

Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
He was like, I gave up my free time during
the week to work a nine to five so that
we could get ahead financially.

Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
No life detected there.

Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Why didn't you have had to do that?

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Anyway, what are you doing job like adulting?

Speaker 7 (01:04:06):
You don't have to work?

Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
And then he said again, this is a list of
things that an next husband said, Hey, I had.

Speaker 7 (01:04:12):
To give this up to be in a relationship with you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
Staying out as late as I wanted several times because
you wanted to go home.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
M that's the real thing. God, why do you ladies
get so tired so early?

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
We need our sleep. Okay, yeah, it's like actual science,
so like we need more sleep. It is right, maybe
by like a half hour, No, by like a couple hours.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Sure, sure, sure.

Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
Sh another thing he said, whatever I wanted to watch.
I had to put that to the side and let
you pick. And the fact that he typed all of
these things sent them to her as like saying, oh
my god, he was doing so much in this relationship.
I'm sorry, but like letting me pick a show.

Speaker 5 (01:04:58):
What it sounds like, you don't want to be in
a relationship, That's what it sounds like.

Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
That's that's my takeaway.

Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
Justck knowledge that these are legitimate sacrifices. I think I've
made every single one of those, right, and you know
it's it's a sacrifice. My wife gets the remote in
our household, watch all the shows you want to watch, right.
I had to change my hours and get a different job.
I used to be a bartender, work late at night.
I did very well for myself, but like that wasn't
conducive to be in a relationship.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
So get rid of that. Change careers, you know what
I mean. There's something about that. There's something to it.

Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
Not what I had not throw it in her face though, no, never, I.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Hope she's not listening right now for that reason.

Speaker 4 (01:05:31):
I would never itemize this and be like, look at
all the things that I gave up. Also, part of
that's like, that's just life, Like your things are going
to involve in your life.

Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
You're you're never going to stay the same.

Speaker 4 (01:05:41):
If you're the guy at twenty that wants to just
go out and stay out and party all night and
you still want to do that at sixty, I don't know,
you're rare and rare company because it just doesn't really
happen like that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:51):
You change and evolve as you get older.

Speaker 7 (01:05:53):
But like, hello, do you not know what a relationship entails.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
Yeah, you're gonna, you know, compromise on some things, but
so is the other person.

Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
Things that you guys have sacrificed so hard for. Let's
talk about that.

Speaker 7 (01:06:03):
Well, the thing is every single thing he put on
his list.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
I'm sure she could have said the same exact thing,
because there's things that you give and take.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Like all the guys you could have hooked up.

Speaker 5 (01:06:12):
With, Yes, yep, and we had to you know, throw
them on the back burner. Yeah, because we're not doing that,
you know, very true opportunity.

Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
I'm sure she wanted to go out sometimes dancing whatever.

Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
And I'm sure she's putting money aside to say, for
the bills, for their finances.

Speaker 7 (01:06:27):
I'm sure she was cooking meals for him.

Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
I'm sure she has to sit through boring sci fi
movies too in football.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:06:34):
Yeah, see there we go.

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
You have on all those going out because you ladies
are too tired, because it's science.

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
You need more sleep, you need, right.

Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
So don't tell me why you wish you were still.

Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
Going out till two o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
But we're like turning down brunches and stuff sometimes to
be with you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
Yeah, we're sacrificing our sleep to stay out late because
you want to be out late.

Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
Right, Yeah, so, and that's like sacrificing our essentially, the
sleep is like the most important thing you really can
do for yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:07:03):
That bottom was mossa brunch. I mean that is a sacrifice.
He didn't go there with your best.

Speaker 5 (01:07:08):
Yes, how you get it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
See, so it is mutual. I think we settled that.

Speaker 7 (01:07:13):
We sacrifice a little more.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
But I didn't hear that.

Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
But oh my god, I cannot wait for Today's Hottest Trending,
which is coming up next because Katie.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
Perry had a show yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:07:23):
Yeah, and this thing almost went off the rails in
the most hilarious way.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
I have to explain what happened.

Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
Coming up next the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine,
and we.

Speaker 14 (01:07:35):
Get just to say mascara one more time.

Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
She just said scared?

Speaker 7 (01:07:39):
What muscarra? Musca?

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
There was muscage. I heard that too, but I can
I just you know, I let that. I gotta let
it slide. But I did hear a muscara muscara I.

Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
Always understood as MASCARAO potato. Yeah, he on my fagra.
I'm just like Christmas and Chris, how do you say it?

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Christmas?

Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
It's not Christmas, and it's not.

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Must scare tomato tomato, muskrat, must scare.

Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
Today's hot is trending? Coming up next, Grammy, what do
you have?

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
Crazy story alert? Did you guys hear about that.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
Guy that was impaled on a hiking pole and then
just decided to keep hiking another time? No, it's bizarre,
all right?

Speaker 5 (01:08:22):
That plus the hilarious thing that happened at Katy Perry
Show yesterday, The.

Speaker 10 (01:08:26):
Hottest It's all the stuff you need to know what's
hot and music movies, shows and the most talked about
stories happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
So a Katy Perry show almost went off the rails yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
She was performing in Europe.

Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
It's like Malta's biggest open air music festival and she
was headlining. So during her song I Kissed a Girl,
she gets into this giant inflatable water bottle.

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
Like, You're not even gonna believe what.

Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
I'm saying unless you go see it for yourself, seeing
kind of picture it. It's on our Instagram story JB
Morning Show. She gets into this giant inflatable water bottle.
She goes into the crowd, and the crowd was supposed
to push her back to the stage this giant straw
can drink from the bottle, but instead the crowd kept
on pushing her further and further and further out there.
And this is a massive outdoor festival. Just imagine an

(01:09:17):
endless sea of people.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
I would pass out.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
She thought this was a good idea.

Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
She was out there for at least five minutes, struggling
trying to get back to the stage, and poor Katie,
she's like she's like starting to panic.

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Oh my god, how do.

Speaker 7 (01:09:50):
You even breathe in that thame.

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
I don't know, she's got enough air in there.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
It's pretty low, it was pretty nothing's huge, so it's
got enough.

Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
It's got enough air in there.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
But if you've ever been crowds, like you can't direct
which way you're gonna go.

Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
It's a crowd. It just takes you wherever it at.
And even though she's going back to the stage.

Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
All it takes is two people to be pushing the
other way and all of a sudden, you're going that way.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Security had to.

Speaker 5 (01:10:11):
Get from what I read, Security had to get involved
and like get them to push her the opposite way so.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
She could get back to the stage.

Speaker 5 (01:10:18):
And the comments were hilarious, like the poor guy on
guitar on stage having to improvise for five minutes, like
not knowing.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
What is going on out there.

Speaker 7 (01:10:28):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
It would definitely be one of those people pushing up
the wrong way.

Speaker 5 (01:10:33):
If you need a good laugh, you can go check
that out. It's on an Instagram story j D Morning Show.
One major question in the David murder case has finally
been answered, so one of the longest running theories I
think as for what motivated David to murder Celeste.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
I mean, we know that they were fighting over.

Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Another woman that he was hanging around with, and Celests
threatened to end his life and career, and you know
he couldn't have that. But another thing that's been talked
about is the possibility that she may have been pregnant
at the time of her murder. And if you recall
back in April, her death certificate was updated. You know,
there was a section asking, you know, was she pregnant
at this time? And at first it said no, but

(01:11:11):
then that was updated in April and replaced with a
U for unknown.

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
So everyone was like, oh my god, like, so it
is possible.

Speaker 5 (01:11:18):
Well, yesterday the La County DA's office confirmed to people
that she was not pregnant at the time of her murder.
So I think we can rule that out as possible motivation.
But I mean, there's still plenty of other things. Right then,
I'll point to David. Yeah, so there's an update on that. Grammy,
what do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:11:38):
Freak hiking accident alert. I think it's the first time
one of those has ever been issued on this show.
A nurse named David Cefaldi. He was hiking Montana's Granite
Peak ten days ago when he slipped on a loose rock.
He said, he like lurgs, just started falling forward and
doing so, he dropped his hiking poll and as he

(01:11:58):
was falling forward, he was paled by that very same
hiking pole. The pole went straight into his lat and
then out the other side. They said there was about
a distance about eight inches in between the entry and
the exit hole, so this thing was in there really good.
He managed to stay calm after it happened, though, He
said he used his medical training, assessed the wound, found

(01:12:20):
that it wasn't really bleeding, hadn't hit any vital organs,
it was sort of just in and out. And rather
than have his friends call for a rescue and be
airlifted down the mountain, David decided, dude, I'm just going
to keep on hiking. He hiked ten.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
Ten more miles with a pole after that.

Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
Yes, with this pole stuck all the way through him
as they descended. I guess David had one of his
other friends would go ahead on the trail just to
warn people coming, like, hey, what.

Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
You're about to see.

Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
It's gonna be a little gnarly, especially if you have
any kids or anything with you, there's a guy coming
down the mountain. He has a pole stuck through him,
So just like, just let him know that that is
what you're about to see.

Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
Said all.

Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
It was in there for about eight to nine hours
from the time he fell on it to the time
he eventually was able to get transported to a hospital
after making that very long hike, and then it was
removed and he is doing just fine, expected to make
a full recovery. Did you barely hike another ten miles

(01:13:21):
with a pole stuck in you?

Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
I could barely do one mile without a pole in me? God,
now ten miles with one?

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 7 (01:13:31):
Yeah, this is long.

Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
How long could you go with a pole in you?

Speaker 5 (01:13:35):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (01:13:36):
Zero minutes, zero seconds.

Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Lucky boyfriend, Okay, that's pretty quick.

Speaker 4 (01:13:42):
Usually about thirty forty five seconds about all I could
do with that pole.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Yeah, that's like I'm looking at the picture right now.

Speaker 7 (01:13:49):
That is like psycho path.

Speaker 4 (01:13:52):
I would faint, wouldn't you if you look down and
saw that? Yeah, I think I would just I would drop.

Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
But at least they were alerting everybody else so that
everybody else wouldn't be scared.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
That was very.

Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
Polite of.

Speaker 5 (01:14:06):
It, And I'm looking at like the I guess where
it was where it impaled?

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
M I mean, I don't know. Yeah, I mean you
might want to, like you can hang your coat on that,
you want.

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
A bottle if yeah, hiker's backpacks on there, let me
light in your load.

Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
Just hang them right, yeah, just hook it on here
the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
There is a bit of a debate happening online.

Speaker 7 (01:14:30):
Yes, so I want to know what side you guys
are on.

Speaker 3 (01:14:33):
Do you think that handmade gifts are a burden to
the person that receives them?

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
What do you mean by burden?

Speaker 7 (01:14:42):
Like, now you have.

Speaker 3 (01:14:43):
This gift that you know, let's say one of your
besties gave you. They put a lot of time into it,
and you know that you know that it meant a
lot to them to give you this gift.

Speaker 7 (01:14:51):
But let's say it doesn't even fit your decor.

Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
It's a giant a giant plant or planter, or it's
like a bunch of plates.

Speaker 5 (01:14:59):
Are you asking this because you give people paintings that
I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
A little part of me does want to know this, obviously,
because I have, throughout my time given people painting sometimes,
but it seems like they really are away. Yeah, I
will say, do they even want them?

Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
You know, it's not that we don't want them right there,
We want them, but like sometimes we outgrow it and
then like what are you supposed to do with it?

Speaker 11 (01:15:34):
Then?

Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
Like I have like my sister paints and I literally
had her paint something for me, like years ago, years ago,
years ago, like I lived like this is like three
houses before where I live.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Now, Like so I can.

Speaker 5 (01:15:49):
Yeah, it was it was of a woman's face.

Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
It was like half face. I think I don't even
remember I had it. I had it hanging. I did
have it up, yeah, and then.

Speaker 5 (01:16:02):
But then I moved and I moved and I moved,
and now it does It doesn't go with anything, you know,
it's just not it's not really me.

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
It doesn't fit.

Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
But I can't bring myself to like get rid of it.
So now I was just like a burden, yes, and it's.

Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Just something that I have to hang on to for
the rest of my life.

Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
Maybe there's a market for paintings of a half woman's
face half dolphin out there and people, what was the
other half?

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
I need nothing mother half.

Speaker 6 (01:16:24):
It was just like the lower part of her face
and shoulders, what was the top half? Is that where
it hit the frame or the painting was just like
it was like started like lower half of her face
and the shoulders.

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
And interesting that that I never finished you on it.

Speaker 7 (01:16:39):
No, I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
You can have a little gallery wall of half face.

Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
Painting, or maybe I could paint the other half of
the woman.

Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
Actually, have you asked, like anybody who you've gifted a
painting to, like how they feel?

Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
Because are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (01:16:58):
I don't want to get my heart broken.

Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
I wonder sometimes, well, when you go over to their house,
do you expect to see it hanging on the wall.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
You're hoping, you're hoping for it.

Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
But have you ever yeah, have you ever discovered any
of your paintings in the wild other than in the
garbage can?

Speaker 7 (01:17:14):
My mom has one.

Speaker 1 (01:17:16):
That's because she has.

Speaker 4 (01:17:17):
To, because yeah, it's your mom. I don't know friends
have ever like put theirs above the mantle or something
like what I.

Speaker 7 (01:17:25):
Did put it up in his room.

Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
But it's been a long time since I've visited his house,
so I don't know it.

Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
It's there, and that's the same thing as me, it's
in a closet somewhere because he feels bad throwing it away.

Speaker 4 (01:17:37):
Yeah, but that's sad because I bring it down to
the good world. They're like, we don't take this, No,
I have no chance of resign this. Yeah, this is garbage.
Where's the other half of this woman's face?

Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
So handmade gifts are just like out, like that's just
not a thing you should do.

Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
I were like, maybe for your parents, they're going to
keep anything, right, that's a good point because.

Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
They feel bad for you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:57):
What if it's something that they could use, Like what
if I paint a mug, like on a mug it.

Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Doesn't work as good as that yetty mug that I
got keeps my coffee perfectly hot.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
All the morning.

Speaker 5 (01:18:07):
Even then, yeah, even then, like if something like it
cracks or something. You're like, I still feel bad throwing
it away, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
Yeah, so we're out on handmade gifts.

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
I would say, just to be safe. Yeah, don't.

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
You guys, I love doing handmade guests.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
I know you do anytime we do stuff like this.
And then the listeners always trying in the talk backs,
like just don't.

Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
Listen to those two.

Speaker 4 (01:18:31):
You paint you happy, you give everyone a painting of
your cat.

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
You just don't do that. We're just joking, listeners. Listeners,
if you're if you don't know by now, we're just joking.

Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
Just giving justice, Josh, just joking around.

Speaker 3 (01:18:45):
I appreciate the feedback because obviously I wonder I want
to know if if my gifts are being unappreciated.

Speaker 5 (01:18:51):
I feel like I feel like one of your best
ties did have a birthday recently.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
What did you end up gifting him?

Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
I haven't gifted him the gift yet, so I can't
say because I don't to.

Speaker 7 (01:19:00):
Give it all.

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Okaya, is it something hand?

Speaker 3 (01:19:01):
It's not because you guys said not to do it.

Speaker 1 (01:19:04):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:19:05):
Yeah, good, Well, I'm glad we came in at the
right time and gave you some solid advice.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
I still want to know what the rest of this
woman looks like. It's just like half her face.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Is just haunting me.

Speaker 16 (01:19:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
I've never seen her eyes. I don't know what her
eye like.

Speaker 7 (01:19:15):
It's a mystery you should put in your living room.

Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
Yeah, no, it doesn't go with my living room ten
years ago went perfectly.

Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
You know, it's my closet.

Speaker 1 (01:19:24):
