Speaker 3 (00:26):
Here we go, Good morning, JV Show.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
This is Nita from Oakland or one from Oakland, once
again trying to give it a shot. Did Selena feel it?
Because this time it was a two point six from
the Sanmiandro area. And just to clarify, the one I
was talking earlier was in the off coast of Seattle.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
So maybe I know something that probs didn't failed that one.
But what about this one? All right, that's a great question.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
A two point six magnitude earthquakes struck the San Leandro
area yesterday around five fifty and so now we'll ask
our very own Selena, who is immune to feeling earthquakes.

Speaker 6 (01:07):
Did Selena feel it?

Speaker 7 (01:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Does anyone feel a two point anything earthquake?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
That's just a little that's a little jolt, a little
nice little tiny women.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
I don't think so shakes a little bit. You were
probably home at that time, doom scrolling.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Uh five point fifty. I was actually in the city.
What city?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
What were we doing?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Oh, this is very unlike you to be outside.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Of your home.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You guys, it was killing me. Like we work in
the city. I drive all the way back to Hayward.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
And then you came all the way back.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, because we had people from out of town. My
man's like, we should go.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
Back to the city.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I'm like, oh great, perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
So you were like doing some touristy things, some sight seeing.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, went to the pier cool?

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Nice?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Yeah? Nice?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah that's so. No, I did not feel that.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Okay, Yeah, how you're out and about. Yeah, had a
better chance if you were at home, right.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Because I live right there in Heyward and Hayward and
standly andre our neighbors. But but no, Graham, did you
feel the earthquake? No, of course not, No, Jess, any
shake it at your house. Nope, not for earthquakes at least, no,
none at all. All right, Hey, we have your tickets

because tomorrow morning, nine oh five, we'll pick a winner.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
All right, So good luck everyone trying to win those tickets.
Remember when I told you guys the eighties were back. Yeah,
Jess has more evidence, yeah of this thing. I'm sure
she's gonna lay that out for us coming up the.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
JV Show on Wild ninety four nine Time four. The
four things you need a head up on to start
your day.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
The biggest thing you need to know today is no.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
More mercury in retro girls.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yes it is today. Oh, but what's that universe? Oh
we'll be in retro shade, so August sixth. Then it
ain't over until it's over.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
And then I heard Saturns going into retrograde.

Speaker 9 (03:19):
Oh no, that one.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
How they go about my daily life? All right?

Speaker 4 (03:25):
The San Francisco Giants have officially hit rock bottom.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Well at least I hope this is as low as
they can go.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
They had a three to nothing lead yesterday in Kansas
City once again found a way to blow it to
the Royals. They lost five to four. All three games
in the series decided by just one run, and the
Giants run the losing end of all of them.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
With the sweep. The Giants are now a.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Season worse eighteen games under five hundred.

Speaker 8 (03:46):
Whoof yikes, a clouity start to your day. The sun
will come out by late morning. I will be in
the upper seventies to low eighties. There will be a
nice breeze though, to keep you cool and taking a
look at next week already, you guys, the nineties will
be back again.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
The nineteen nineties or ninety degree tepe. Okay, yeah, hey,
Capricorn besties, your day today is going to be a nine.
Some recognition at work might finally be coming your way,
and it's that public praise that you've been low key
working toward.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
When it lands, the whole room will feel it.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Let yourself soak it in Capricorn, you earned every word.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I am a Capricorn bestie.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Have you ever got any work recognition before? No, like
employee of the month or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
No, oh that's summer. Yeah yeah, and least one of
three months in a row, and then I got it
the last.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Yeah, we've been doing really good grim Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Wow. There's even like this radio publication where it's like
anytime somebody lands like a new gig or whatever, they
get like an article. Yeah, no, I forgot what it's called.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
But like radio insights.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I don't know. Maybe maybe I never even got one
of those. Oh that's yeah. I never even got a
welcome Kate when I came to.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Wild not even a free pen or a month a notebook.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I got a note that everyone looks.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Over, an iPad CA.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, I got a backpack, Wow, new laptop, new iPhone?
Not me, You didn't get you that? All right, So
is somebody car.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Nineties are back next week, Jess. Yeah, but next we're
talking about how the eighties they're already back. Jess As
details the.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
Nice.

Speaker 10 (05:19):
So, I was just calling because I had just seen
that report about a mother who had lost all four
of her children. They were very small, They were with
the grandmother. They had got a flat tire and they
pulled over on the side of the road and the
AC when they turned on the AC, I guess it
was leaking carbon monoxide and they all passed away except

(05:39):
for two, but they ended up going on life support
and then having to take them off.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
So I just thought of.

Speaker 10 (05:44):
You, Selena and your beautiful family.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Be safe. Oh my god, that's so. That's the saddest
thing I've ever heard.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
And why and why why are we linking it to you?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Please don't associate me without much sadness.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Selenna's been in her manifestation era lately. Did she just
jink you?

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah? Why are you attaching that type of energy to me?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Everybody be safe out there. Yes, great reminder and tragic story,
but don't.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
Even let your kids near a car.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Give me one Give me one second, guys that's now
attached to you. Hold on, let me close my eyes
for a second.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Okay, you got what she doing.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Okay, I just canceled out the energy.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
It's all good to see how your feet feel Warmington,
that's good.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
All right.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I've been telling you guys that eighties are bad. Like
I gave you a couple examples of like music, like
some pretty big songs. The eighties are fullly back.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Everyone's gonna be wearing fluorescent clothing now again.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Well listen to a jess uh saw.

Speaker 8 (06:41):
So I was shook it because usually we see gen
zers rushing into stores to get the latest thing, right, like,
that's usually what the headline is about. And I was
shocked to see that now gen Xter's were the ones
that were rushing into stores to get some the the
thing that is coming back from the past. Nostalgia alerte
nostalgia alert.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Here it is nostalgia alert.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
And I was like, wait, what is this the Esprie sweatshirts.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
I don't even know if I'm actually saying it correctly.

Speaker 8 (07:08):
I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone if I
am saying it.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
If I'm if I'm saying it, you know how to
say it.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
No, Yeah, that's how I always understood that.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
It was before I've never heard it said out loud.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
It looks like spirit, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Esprit, Esprit.

Speaker 8 (07:24):
I've seen some people say like esprit. They were like,
what is the what's the deal with this Esprit?

Speaker 6 (07:30):
And was like, I don't think that's how you say it.

Speaker 8 (07:32):
But also I had never heard about this in my life,
and I was shocked to see so many videos once
I looked it up from gen x or saying like,
are you serious? You don't know what esprie is? So
had you guys heard about this?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I feel like I've seen it before only and like
old family photos like my elders.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Black and white. Yeah, I'm only.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Twenty eight and a half, but my twin sister definitely
have one of those sweatshirts when we.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Were and you go to Costco all the time, that's
where they're is selling him.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Did you see any oh this is a Costco drop?

Speaker 11 (08:04):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
WHOA? I have not yet seen that. I've been to
Costco in a couple of weeks. I was probably, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
They're sold out now, so that I see any now,
I think that's why.

Speaker 8 (08:13):
And for anyone wondering or if you've never seen one before,
I did put up a little video on our Instagram
story Jam the.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
Morning Show that has an example.

Speaker 8 (08:21):
It's basically just a a sweatshirt, a sweatshirt with the.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Word a spree on the front of it.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
At least it's not full blown eighties with like puffy
sleeves and ruffles and it's it's just like a crew
neck sweatshirt.

Speaker 8 (08:36):
Right.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
What do you think about it? For now?

Speaker 8 (08:38):
I like it, But can I just bring this into
evidence the fact that like gen xers have shamed gen
zers for oh my god, you went to the story
and you spent sixty bucks to buy that like that,
that's just a sweatshirt with like a word on it,
Like that's what you're getting.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
And now, excuse me, excuse me. This is a sweatshirt
with the word on it, but.

Speaker 8 (09:03):
No hate, no shade, because I know that's nostalgia alert.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
I think, I mean eighties are back, are back?

Speaker 8 (09:13):
That one's I thought it was cool that it was.
It's like a San Francisco clothing.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
That I didn't know.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
I didn't either, That's what I read.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Again.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I only saw pictures of it from my great great
great parents and it was all black and white and
it's hard to see.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
And they didn't leave you like a vintage one.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You can sell it. No, And we had to see
these pictures in like a photo album like it's not
they weren't even like they were in the box in my.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
Attic, and they were in black and white.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Obviously by the first film that was ever developed.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Yeah, I had to go into a dark room and
actually developed myself float the picture of a vat of
chemicals to get into a pier.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's how I first That's what you learned about that
how I.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
First learned about my first spirits.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Did you guys see the statement from the American Heart Association.
I'm sorry they put this out a couple of days ago,
so if you did see it, I apologize, but it
made me think of you guys, because we drink a
lot of coffee in the morning here on the show.
They said that drinking five cups of coffee is perfectly
safe a day, by the way, for most healthy adults,
and it could actually be linked to lower risk of
heart disease, stroke, and heart failure type two diabetes. As

(10:20):
all these benefits five cups.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
I couldn't drink five cups in a day.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
I have too much anxiety, too much caffeine gives me
anxiety and I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I was kind of surprised. I thought they were going
to say, like one or two? Five does seem like
a lot, but I'm here for it. They did say
black coffee.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Though, Oh, because you don't like that sugar, extra sugar
and sweeteners you Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I don't like negate the benefits.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I'm fine. I'm fine with that, Selena. How many you're
a two cup? Are you a two cup of day three?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
One or two?

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Except when you get your Starbucks thing and that's got
five shots in it, So there's your five and one,
but that has okay, sorry, only four shots, but that happened, sweetness.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
You can at a many as you won't probably, but
I don't do Starbies too often, just because it's really
easy for them to take your entire paycheck. So I
just I just drink my coffee here in the morning.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Are you you're a one cup?

Speaker 6 (11:12):
One cup? Sometimes too here at work?

Speaker 8 (11:16):
But other than that, I'm like you, Graham, Like my
heart will start jittering, and then instead of it making
me more productive, I can't focus.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Right, we have the opposite effect. Okay, here's something else.
The American Heart Association said, okay, they wanted to reinforce
in this report here that coffee should not be combined
with energy drinks.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
Oh okay, here is where you go off the rails.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
We all do this on Fridays. Hello, Friday literally forced
me to have an energy drink shot on Tuesday. Okay,
I was willing, but it was your idea.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Well only because Tuesdays are tougher days Mondays.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Still, I would have been fine without it. You're like,
we should have energy drink Tuesdays. If anything, we should
just do it as shot.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Because Tuesdays are worse than Monday.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
I'm not saying that's science.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
I'm just saying, don't act like you're better than me
because you drink less energy drink, so you shouldn't be
combining it at all.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Well, that's just total caffeine intake. And I always wonder
about these these this new study. It's like one week
coffee causes cancer and the next week coffee is great
for you, blood of health benefits. They flip flop on
this coffee thing so many times. I don't get it.
With so many people that drink coffee, how do we
not have a more accurate study. It's like this time,
it's like you can drink up to five cups. Two

(12:30):
months ago, drinking up to five cups was a death sentence.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
What is it? Make up your mind? Yeah, I don't
get it.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
It's the same thing with alcohol. But all the alcohol
ones now that they used to be like, yeah, one
one drink a day, have zero alcohol, absolutely nothing.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
No amount of alcohol is good for you, dang it.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
But we probably shouldn't be having five just for the
sake of our teeth. I mean, oh, we're already struggling
in that department.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
That's the true victim and all this the white Savior teeth.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Next on the JV Show, Jess, you want to talk
about fishing. Yeah, that's a different type of coup fishing
related things.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Next the JV Show on Wild ninety four.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Nine, Jess, I can't believe you want to talk about fishing, Like,
what could you possibly know about fishing?

Speaker 8 (13:18):
Apparently I know a lot about fishing now, cat fishing,
pet fishing.

Speaker 6 (13:23):
Both of which I want to talk.

Speaker 11 (13:24):
About right now.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
That kind of fishing.

Speaker 8 (13:26):
Okay, okay, let's start with catfishing, because you know how
men will joke about you know, like, oh, take her
swimming on the first day, because if she's catfishing you
with like wearing a lot of makeup, the makeup will
come off, like you'll be able to see her.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Well, I had heard that before.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
You've never heard that take a fishing on the first
or swimming, You've never heard that.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
No, it's a great idea. I like it.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Well, I wanted to go swimming on the first day.
By the I'd be like, absolutely not. Yeah, that'd getting
nearly naked in front of you.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Yeah, what the hell, that's the real reason you'd want
to take a fit. Take them?

Speaker 8 (14:00):
Well, so this is of the place the equivalent I
guess of where women would take men who catfish.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
Now here's the thing.

Speaker 8 (14:12):
Guys could say that women catfish by wearing a lot of.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Makeup and filters and other things.

Speaker 8 (14:16):
Yeah, but guys can catfish by wearing hats sometimes, And
I think you can agree with that ground and everybody
listening hatish. Someone said take them anywhere where they do
the national anthem because he is good, you know, sporting
event the national anthem starts to win, you've got to

(14:38):
take that hat off.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
And it's such an you can't be that jerk that
doesn't participate, like you're not taking your hat off? Yeah,
so take.

Speaker 8 (14:45):
Them to a sporting event, ladies, or anywhere where the
national anthem is gonna play, and he's gonna have to
take that hat off because most guys will like even
just like as a as an automatic like response, so
you'll get to see it underneath the hat.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
Because hat fishing is real. Now hat fishing?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Have you guys heard ask one question about the hat fishing?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Because like first date, let's just say you go, you're
gonna go to dinner.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
I know that's like sort of old school.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Now you just like meet for a drink and then
decide if you want to hang out with them more whatever.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
It's like it's quick. Dates have gotten more abbreviated.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
But what if it is a dinner, like a legit
dinner date and a guy wears a hat like to
like a nicer restaurant through the dinner. Is that would
you be like, dude, take your hat off? Or is
that another old school way of thinking?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I guess first day, I wouldn't feel comfortable being like,
why do you have a hat on? I wouldn't say anything,
but I would like if it's more a dressy. It's
higher like I would expect you to not have a
basically hat on, got.

Speaker 8 (15:43):
It, especially if like you're wearing your dress shoes right,
your collared shirt and then you have like a Toyota
hat on or like random.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
A Toyota hat.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
Asking people with like hats that have the Tiota logo
or like any other like hat.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
You anything sports or something, Hey, why'd you wear your
Honda hat?

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I just really like the brand.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
Yeah, like I'd know it, but I probably wouldn't say anything,
Like it wouldn't be like a deal breaker, you.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Know, right, but I'd be like, Okay, are you hiding something?

Speaker 4 (16:19):
I'd be very suspicious. Yeah, I'd want to know what's
under that.

Speaker 8 (16:24):
So the other type of fishing is pet fishing, and
I think this is something that we.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Have kind of maybe briefly touched on, but people.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
Are literally borrowing their friend's pets to petfish on social
media apps, pretending like that is their pet because you know,
pets are so cute, Like you can't read.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
That is smart? Yeah, that's really smart.

Speaker 8 (16:46):
If you're swiping on the apps and you see someone
and they have a cute little puppy and you're like wow,
look at that.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
And it makes you that person differently, like oh my god,
they're they're friendly, they're an animal lover.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Responsible.

Speaker 8 (16:57):
Yeah, what about finding out that's all a lie? That
would hurt I'd be mad. I think that is a
deal breaker, Like.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
You borrowed somebody's pet, you're why.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
I would feel very like manipulated.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
More so than arriving.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
You'd be more upset than arriving to a day and
realizing the person looks nothing nothing like their picture.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
I'd be more upset about the regular catfishing.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Then to find out that they just took some pictures
with their friends.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I feel like it's up there with regular catfishing.

Speaker 8 (17:27):
Okay, yeah, because if they lie about it, like if
you ask like, oh, that puppy on your picture, Oh
my god, that's your that's your dog.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
Oh that was my best friend's Like it's so cute.
I just had to hold it.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
Oh that's fine. They're telling you the truth. But if
they go along with the story of like oh my god, yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Like childhood dog had them forever, Like my my reason
is not even so much that it's like I would
just feel light to you, Like what if you're not
even that cute. But then I swipe because I see
you with this puppy and I'm I think you have
all these great characteristics based on you being a dog owner,
and then I find out you're not even that person
I thought you were.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
I'm glad that you have You hold pet owners in
such high regard, because there's a lot of dead beats
out there that have pets that that's true. They're not,
They're just still an awful person.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Unfortunately. Yeah, okay, I was on the day.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
If I was on dating apps, which I'm not happily married,
but I mean, you better believe the majority of my
pictures would be me holding my dog handbone as a puppy.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
I mean, she was just so cute.

Speaker 11 (18:27):
You're you see the Golden Retriever puppy before.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I'm kidding me. I would slay on the dating app.

Speaker 8 (18:33):
See, I feel like that works like with guys holding pets.

Speaker 6 (18:37):
Do girls have the same effect for guys?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Yeah, So imagine Jess on a dating app and she's
holding all her cats.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
I only have.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
One, and she's adorable. Cat haters.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
But okay, let me ask you this.

Speaker 8 (18:52):
If one of your friends came to you and was like, hey,
you know, I really need to like judge up my
my dating profile, like can I pullase borrow your dog?
Or Selena, you're gonna can I borrow your guinea pig?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Yeah, go for it.

Speaker 8 (19:03):
But then they're like, Hey, so I went out a
date with this person. I'm really liking them. I have
to now own your dogs.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Borrow You're doing a double date with our dogs because
he has one? Two? Can I borrow?

Speaker 4 (19:14):
I'll be like, perfect, I haven't had much time. Take
her for a walk anyways? Could you tick her for
a walk? Probably want to get her groom first to
have her looking nice. You know I'm gonna do all that.
Go for it?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, yeah, I guess I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Yeah, honestly, it'll be a good wing man.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
That's funster dog all right, Today's Hottest trending is coming
up next? Are you guys ready for another annoying piece
of Megan Markle drama? Just got one little thing?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Okay The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Good Morning.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
V Show, Happy Thursday.

Speaker 12 (19:47):
Guys like to catfish with sunglasses too. A lot of
guys wear sunglasses. You don't know what they look like
under there, and when they take them off sometimes you
know you're in for a So, yeah, guys, take off
some sunglasses. You need to see what you look like
underneath too. Have a big day, guys, Bie.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
I mean that's true. I should even be allowed.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Let me just say that this one that rings more
true in my in my experience with you ladies than
it does with the guys, because you ladies wear these monster,
big sunglasses and we have no idea what your face.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Looks like under them. You look hot.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Pop those sunglasses off at a Holy cross eyes like,
what do you? What's you have no idea what the
sunglasses hide a very key part of your face. And
you may look real good until you take those monster
things off and we see your real face.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
I think not fair. Yeah, to have all your pictures
with with the with the sunglasses on, Oh, I agree.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
I mean that would be a red flag to me.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
I beg but I feel like a lot of ladies,
I mean they might have one with sunglasses, but they
we post a lot of pictures. Guys will have like
one picture on their profile and if it's with sunglasses, Nope,
that's a swipe.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
He's got a he's got a baseball hat on, he's
got sunglasses, the retriever puppy.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
No, it's a scam. Everything's hoping about him scam.

Speaker 13 (21:07):
Honest, it's all the stuff you need to know what's
hot in music, movies, shows and the most talked about
stories happening today.

Speaker 11 (21:17):
In the Bay.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Are you guys ready for some Meghan Markle drama? So
listen to this. Remember when I told you she was
gonna be on Master Chef Australia and people online were like,
why she ain't no chef? She can't cook. But anyways,
so the episode is gonna air this weekend. They obviously
already shot it, and apparently she got really upset by
how she was introduced on the show. So when they

(21:40):
were bringing her out, one of the judges reportedly said, quote,
We've had Master Chef Royalty in the kitchen before, but
no one like this. All the way from Sunny California,
please welcome to Master Chef Australia, the Duchess of Sussex,
Meghan Markle. And Meghan was left quote very frustrated by
the use of the word royal tea.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
I thought she stop.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
So I don't know if it's because she didn't want
to be like lumped in with them or I saw
another line say it could be because of like royal protocol,
like she's not allowed to like lump herself in with
them now that she is not a royal, I guess.
But she was like really really mad, and then that
judge was mad that Megan was mad, and so it
was just a lot of like tension on the set.

(22:25):
Sources did say though, that a lot of stuff got
edited out, so I don't know if that royalty part
is going to make it into the final episode. But
this judge that said it, everyone's talking about how like
bubbly she is, and she's energetic and she's fun and
she was trying like everything to lighten the mood. But
a lot of like her being playful and Jokie didn't
really land with Meghan because she's super boring, and so

(22:46):
there was like a ton of stuff that had to
be cut out.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
Wow, yeah, how do you feel about people? Let's just
say it wasn't the royal protocol or whatever, it was
just that.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
She didn't want to be she wanted association with that.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
What do you How do you feel about peace Bull
whose rise to fame is tied to one thing? But
then they try to distance themselves from that thing. I
think you have to embrace it.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I think so too. Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Like the Hawk to a girl, Yeah, it's like now
to the stage Hawk Tour, you know it from the
viral video Hawk too, And she's like, no, no, I'm
a girl that came from a spring factory.

Speaker 8 (23:18):
You know.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
It's like, yeah, it's like, no, we know you for that.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
I agree. By the way, there is a preview out
for Master Chef Megan's episode that comes out again on Sunday.
Not that anyone's gonna watch it. This is in Australia,
but people fans there they're not like they hate it.
They're saying that she doesn't appear genuine, that she looks
like she's trying too hard, and they're just calling her fake.
So people hate her across the globe apparently, Graham, what

(23:44):
do you have?

Speaker 4 (23:45):
All right? A couple of big bay are events going
down this weekend we need to talk about first, well,
I guess I should say Bay Area adjacent because this
weekend is the Gilroy Garlic Festival. You guys, you know,
the long running festival had a bumpy past few years past,
several years between the mass shooting, the pandemic, and then
some financial troubles, all of which cause it to be
shut down for a few years, but it made its
triumphant return last year. We talked about it then. Glad

(24:07):
to see this back on again this year. This year's festival,
of course, you're gonna be able to try all things garlic,
garlic kalamari, garlic scampy, garlic bread, garlic frize, and the
festival's famous garlic ice cream, of course, will be available.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
General admission thirty five bucks.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
It's running tomorrow, three day festival tomorrow through Sunday. You
can get your tickets information Gilroy Garlicfestival dot com.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
The other big event this weekend.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
I know you, Selena, have no interest in this one
because you don't like anything more than a walking walking pace.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
But the San Francisco Marathon.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
I know you do not aspire to ever run a marathon,
but more than thirty three thousand runners are going to
take over city streets this Saturday in the city. They're
doing like an ultra marathon and a regular length marathon.
So the main takeaway from this is, because you're probably
not thinking to yourself as you're listening, I want to
go out and cheer on the runners unless you are

(25:04):
running in this And the main takeaway is just there's
gonna be a bunch of street closures and things in
the city on Saturday morning, so you want to watch
out for that if you're coming.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Into this gay great piece of information. Thank you, Graham.
Coming up next here on the JV Show, we have
your chance to win a chuck mug inside What the
Bleed The.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

about catfishing and pet fishing and hat fishing, a lot
of fishing, lading fishing, un glass fishing.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
Good Morning, JV Show.

Speaker 12 (25:32):
I would say that one of the swarm of catfishing
would also be when you wear masks.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Remember during COVID when everywhere were a mask, and then
like when you met them or were comfortable enough to
go inside a room with.

Speaker 13 (25:43):
Them and you take off your.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Mask and you're like, WHOA, okay, all right, well anyways,
have a good day bye. We are they wearing masks
on their profile pictures.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
I mean there was a time we were wearing a
mask for just damn near everything, and so yeah, very
hard to ascertain the look of somebody's face when half
of it's covered. Throw up some sunglasses, sunglasses and a mask.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
You have no idea what they look like.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Hilarious. I can't believe we lived through that, Like that
is and it all I can think about.

Speaker 8 (26:15):
It felt like it was never ending, and now we can.
I mean, I guess it's still happening.

Speaker 2 (26:20):

Speaker 4 (26:21):

Speaker 8 (28:44):
You say you cut your own hair sometimes, Yeah, but
it's different because it's long, So I just like chop
off the ends. But if I need to, like, you know,
besides and stuff.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Yeah, no, that's that's not that easy.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
I feel like I could do it. It doesn't look
that hard.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
I've given myself a haircut before. It's just tough when
you it's tough looking in the mirror and doing it
because everything's like reverse and then the back of your head.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
You can't really see you know. Yeah, but you could
do it.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Good morning, JV's Show. It's Jenna from South City, Happy

Speaker 2 (30:24):

Speaker 3 (30:25):
I think it depends how well you know them.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Of course I think it's weird because Jess has a fiance.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
Yeah, but I mean, what do you mean what on
the list of top gifts that you could give?

Speaker 3 (30:34):
That's what?

Speaker 2 (30:36):
He's not even into her like that? What are you
guys talking? What are you talking about? What we're trying

Speaker 5 (30:46):
Poyn JV Show, Johnson San Carlos is the bleep dot
word pome who doesn't like a good poem as a gift?

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Love your show, enjoy your day? Yeah? Poem?

Speaker 2 (30:58):

Speaker 6 (31:00):
No?

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Okay, just be honest. Have you ever written your man
your fiance a poem?

Speaker 6 (31:06):
No, because it would sound horrible.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
Keep us just like get a card like for him
to read or something. No, Selena, you have you ever
written a poem? Have you ever had a guy? Have
either of you ladies ever had a guy write you
a poem?

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Noever?

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Romance dead? Have you ever written one for somebody?

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Groom?

Speaker 3 (31:25):
No?

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Okay, I feel like maybe I've received one at one time.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Corny Yeah, good morning show? Is the bleeped out word.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Money?

Speaker 6 (31:40):
Money, have a good day?

Speaker 2 (31:43):
How much you were talking, Jess, how much you're giving him?

Speaker 6 (31:46):
Maybe? I don't know what the what the standard is now?
I feel like it's gone up, maybe like forty bucks,
fifty bucks.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
I can't get you anything.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Give people in your friend group money money as a gift.
That seems like it's I don't think that happens, does it?

Speaker 10 (32:01):
No?

Speaker 6 (32:02):
Uh not?

Speaker 2 (32:02):
I mean I don't have friends. But no, if anything,
if we go out to eat or whatever. I just
like pay for their food.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Yeah, right, you do something like that, but you're not
like here's a card that has forty bucks in it
or something.

Speaker 11 (32:12):
I did.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
What she he's not here at that She'll be in
studio tomorrow. Her birthday just passed and we didn't see
her for a couple of weeks. I did send her
some money, Okay.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
I could see that, like buy yourself a drink tonight
or something, or take yourself to there, and like I
could see that, you know, with a Venmo.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Or cash app or whatever. But I think in person, like.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
If I went to one of my buddies, like happy
birthday and I just handed them sixty bucks, it would
just be weird, you know.

Speaker 11 (32:37):
What I mean?

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Yeah, like give you give your nieces and nephews a
few bucks for graduating from the fifth grade or whatever birthday, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
But like you don't give them money. Yeah weird?

Speaker 2 (32:47):
I agree. Hey Jvsha, this is Chris from Sammardino, longtime listener,
first time talk back.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
I think the bleeped.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Out word is flowers.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Okay, first off, thank you so much for leaving that
to talk back.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
First time talkbacker.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Right there, ladies and gentlemen, he says, leaving that from
Sam Bernardino. I had to check because I hadn't looked
in a while. JV show number one in Sam Bernadin
of course. So that's huge, appreciating you, Thank you so
much and great guests. What do you think about giving
a friend flowers?

Speaker 8 (33:18):
As I like that because you know how you hear
that guys don't ever get flowers.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Because we don't want them.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
Literally, please do not give me flowers as a gift.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
I don't want them.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Why because I don't want them. They're just gonna They're
gonna die in like three or four days.

Speaker 6 (33:35):
You're gonna enjoy them while they're alive.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
Describe the enjoyment that I get from them.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I get joy from them too.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
They don't bring me any joy.

Speaker 6 (33:43):
I walk past them and I'm like, oh cute.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
It reminds you of like when you got them.

Speaker 6 (33:47):
Yeah, and then I take pictures of them.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
I'm glad to know that it works for you, ladies.
It does not work. Doesn't translate for us guys.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
All right, so flowers is out.

Speaker 15 (33:59):
That you all have a happy Thursday.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Here's today's clip. Unbleeped.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
Is it weird?

Speaker 14 (34:09):
If for my friend's birthday, I offer to give him
a painting.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Is it only if it's good? I mean only if
it's bad, then it's weird.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Is it like a portrait of him?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
No, it's just like in the buff, just like naked.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Now, now that's a good gift.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
No, but like you know, yourself naked sometimes friends.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
No fortune, No it's naked.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
No, it's naked.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
So it's just like a picture of a landscape or something.
I don't know, just some trees and a few blades
of grass.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Sometimes my birthday.

Speaker 8 (34:38):
No, but I think sometimes my friends will hint at
like some painting that they would kind of.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Like they're just saying that to be nice to you.
Oh okay, actually they don't actually want that's a.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Good gift if it's good. Okay, if you if you're
trash in the beholder the older thinks it's trash, then
that's a horrible gift.

Speaker 8 (34:57):
Would you would you give away or like a painting
that someone gifted you if you didn't like it?

Speaker 3 (35:03):
No, you have to keep that forever, right, yeah, a
long long time? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Why did somebody throw one of your paintings?

Speaker 8 (35:09):
As I saw I saw a video of like somebody
had painted a jean jacket for somebody else, and then
they signed at the thrift store because that person had donated.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Are you talking about the Jonas Brothers jacket that you painted?

Speaker 7 (35:20):
No?

Speaker 6 (35:20):
I still have that one.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Okay, that's hilarious. If you found your own Jonas brother
painted jacket at a thrift store.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
Yeah, hey, you signed in the free pile.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
That's gonna be worth some money.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Cherry, keep telling yourself that, Yeah, Jonah's Brother's member been
a great investment by the values jowing up over the years.
All right, let's get some shoutouts. First, Elizabeth and Santos

Speaker 2 (38:50):

a rabbit in that.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
There's a white rabbit.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
The matrix, Yeah, the matrix, yeah, red pill, blue pill?
He does not remember, Neil, all right, Question number that's okay.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
Question number two, you can miss one.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
Persia was the name used globally for what country up
until nineteen thirty five, when they changed their name officially
Persia oky Ron. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
What?

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Question number three. The Golden State Valkyrie's WNBA team currently
plays their home games at what venue? The Chase Center?

Speaker 11 (39:29):
Let yo, Yeah, get your v'sa up, everybody?

Speaker 4 (39:33):
All right? Question number four, You need this one to
win the game.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
This one's a little tricky. From nineteen ninety four to twenty.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
Sixteen, the bell in the official Taco Bell logo was
bright pink.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
What color is it currently?

Speaker 12 (39:49):
Purple?

Speaker 3 (39:52):
The bell is now white?

Speaker 6 (39:55):
The background is purple.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
The background is purple.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
But I think about it, I feel like it's like
a all colored like bronze.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
Yeah, school wild West.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Are you talking about what the Liberty belt? No, I
picture it's still be in that bright pink Taco Bell logo.

Speaker 6 (40:13):
I don't remember. But they don't do the math.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
What do you mean you don't remember that.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
When you look up the Taco Bell logo and you
see the bright pink one, you'll be like, oh, that's
what it is.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
But no. In twenty sixteen, they rebranded.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
About jose It's about Joseph. You did not win, Oh game, Jay.

Speaker 11 (40:30):
Buckle Bell, son of a purple bell and a matrix.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
Joseph from formerly from Fremont, now of Patterson.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
The whole community of Patterson.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
I know, Patterson is so disappointed in you.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
They are.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Oh you know what, I turned as? Sorry, Why isn't
he responding the disrespect? Still there, I'm here, I'm here anyways.
I brought you back on un till you didn't win.
Oh no, yeah, you didn't do it all right, don't
hang up though, I'm gonna put you on hold. It's

(41:02):
just really quick there, Yes, Graham, Solyn, I.

Speaker 11 (41:05):
Have one a DM slide birthday.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
We need to squeeze in here.

Speaker 4 (41:09):
This morning I got a dam and says, can we
shout out my daughter on her second birthday today? Were
listening guys every morning, And to be honest, this is
more for my son who's five years old, whose favorite
thing to hear over the radio every morning is I'm
a daddy happening.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Second birthday, Isabella.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
We love you so much, our spunky, sassy, loving little girl.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
You're the best thing to happen to all of us.

Speaker 4 (41:29):
Love Mommy, mommy, daddy, brother, aj OsO, Oreo, Buster and Mariodfish. Yes, Happy,
happy second birthday.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
You have a great day. Keep this in mind about
your birthday because.

Speaker 6 (41:46):
Honest, it's all.

Speaker 13 (41:49):
The stuff you need to know.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
What's hot in.

Speaker 13 (41:51):
Music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening
today in the bay.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
All right, let's check in on how David's prelimity hearing
is going. So yesterday was day two of the hearing.
I do really quick want to give a warning, not
that I'm going to get into like any graphic detail here,
but this is still like, you know, a murder case
we're talking about, you know, so if there's something that
you think is too much to hear. I'm just giving
you a warning right now. If you want to turn
the radio down for a quick second, don't go anywhere,

(42:18):
don't ganger station. Okay, hold on, hold on. But if
you want to turn it down and to rejoin us
in a couple minutes, I won't be mad at that.
So all right, So yesterday was day two of the hearing.
Remember the DA said that this is expected to last
between five and seven days, so they've been busy calling
witnesses to the stand. Yesterday they called Interscopes, senior vice
president of finance, to the stand to testify. He confirms

(42:39):
what we already knew, that they dropped David in December
and no payments were made to him in twenty twenty six.
Do you guys know how much his contract is worth?
By the way, and this is a young guy. His
contract had a minimum value of seven million.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Dollars seven million, and.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
It could have gone up to nineteen million dollars if
they would have exercised their option for additional albums. Wow,
but just for that one, that first one, seven.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
Mil, we're in the wrong business.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Yeah, yeah, we also don't have talent like that.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
So yeah, that too.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
A criminalist from the LAPD also took the stand. Her
name is Lauren Wallace. She testified that she found eleven
air fresheners in David's tesla, along with celeste remains.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
That's a few too many and it's not enough.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
Because it wasn't masking anything. Like you have to be
the dumbest criminal to think that's going to put a
dent in what was really going on in there. Yeah.
The LAPD criminalists also testified about what they found in
David's home when they went to search it just days
after they found the abandoned tesla. She said that his
garage had red stains all over that tested positive for

(43:45):
possible blood. You know, they have like that light that
they're like wanding everything with m or they use a luminol.
There was some I don't know if they did that.
There's something called blue.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
Star that's the same, okay, same stuff.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
The floor was covered with these black interlocking mats, and
the mats lit up when testing for blood. There was
also cuts in the mats consistent with use of a
sharp object. They processed a stained trash bag they found
in there that tested positive. There was an inflatable pool
in the garage that smelled like laundry and they even
found like a rolled up used dryer sheet in it,

(44:18):
so he clearly had just run it through the wash.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Yeah, there was a.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
Tarp with red stains. Two chainsaws which did not come
back positive for blood. But you know that they have
all of his like postmates orders. There was another chainsaw
that was ordered that they did not find at the home.

Speaker 6 (44:35):
Oh maybe that was the one that was right.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
David, by the way, completely emotionless in the courtroom, like
just sitting there, unfazed, no reaction, like listening to all
the testimony, looking like he doesn't have a care in
the world. So less family. They left early yesterday, like
when they court you know, called for a quick break,
they left, and then they didn't return for the rest
of the hearing. Their lawyer said, they were just really

(44:58):
struggling to comprehend, like why this could happen, How this
could happen. They just can't really like they're questioning everything,
just like why them?

Speaker 3 (45:06):
Why?

Speaker 2 (45:07):
And also they were trying to conserve what little strength
they have left for today's testimony because the medical examiner
are going to be taking the stand today and he
or she is expected to describe the condition that Celesta's
found in an even greater detail, So they have to
sit through.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
That family's worse.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
I know, I can't imagine, but that is just your update.

Speaker 3 (45:26):
Again.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
There's going to be a few more days that we're
going to be hearing you know, who takes the stand
and what new evidence they have to present. This is
going to go through like mid next week. Grammy, I
know you have something in trending.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
Carnival Cruise Line has now issued an official statement following
that viral video of a woman scratching her barefoot with
a fork in one of their cruise ships restaurants. We
posted this video on our Instagram story earlier this week
JV Morning Show. If you don't already follow us, you
should one of the more disgusting videos of all time.

Speaker 3 (45:54):
This woman just.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
Furiously digging into the bottom or foot with a fork
while sitting at a restaurant table.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
Well, it's tough to watch, so.

Speaker 4 (46:02):
Cardinval Cruise Line posted this online yesterday in response quote
high Carnival Cruisers, we can confirm that forks are intended
for food, not foot care. Once we became aware of
the situation, Our team quickly addressed it with the guest
and removed the utensil from service. While the video maybe
generating last and gasps online, cleanliness and hygiene are no
joke to us. Our crew works hard every day to

(46:23):
maintain high standards across our fleet and to ensure all
guests enjoy.

Speaker 3 (46:29):
A safe, clean, and comfortable vacations.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
So they caught it as it was happening.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Now, look like, how do you think they caught this?

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Because the person that originally posted a video, it was
like a six part video of this woman scratching her
foot and then using the fork, and it went on
and on. Do you think they actually took that fork out.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
Of service.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
Confront her. There's no way.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
There is a zero percent chance they did this. They
did not know about it until after this thing went
crazy viral. So I think the only approach response here
is to throw out every single fork on board every
single Rower ships, which is probably millions of forks.

Speaker 11 (47:07):
I don't care. I could never enjoy a meal.

Speaker 4 (47:09):
There ever again, and or I'll have to eat my
steak with a spoon because I would never ever select
to use a fork there ever again, just based on
the fact that that might be there is a small
chance that that might be the fork that was digging
into this woman's foot.

Speaker 8 (47:23):
And honestly, you have to throw the rest of the
things away too, because you saw how she was digging
into her foot with her hand and then touching everything else.

Speaker 6 (47:31):
Yeah, so she wasn't just touching the fork.

Speaker 8 (47:33):
Yes, it was fork to foot, but then with her
hand she was grabbing everything else.

Speaker 6 (47:38):
Like, throw everything out.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
You need a whole kitchen revamp.

Speaker 14 (47:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:41):
Also I need the carpet's replaced because you know how
much stuff was being scraped off her foot and then
and then it was flaking down into the carpet. That
needs to be replaced as well, along with the cabin
that she stayed in.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
That needs to be there.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
She was sitting in your chair.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
For all time.

Speaker 4 (47:56):
Yeah, this is not There's no way in my mind
they knew about this media.

Speaker 3 (48:00):
Oh, we took the fork out of service. Yeah right,
we're not idiots, thank you.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
So remove all the forks, smelt them down and make
something else. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (48:09):
And Trending was sponsored by Hennessy headed to outside Lands
August seventh through ninth, stop by the Hennessy Social Club for.

Speaker 6 (48:15):
A refreshing Hennessy strawberry lemonade.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
Are you going to be the seven guys on which
day is?

Speaker 8 (48:20):
On the seventh on Friday? So meet me there. We'll
have a Hennessy Strawberry lemonade taste that night. You know,
Charlie XCX fun must be twenty one hour older to
enjoy responsibility.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Good morning.

Speaker 16 (48:35):
I just let's also we're talking about the lady with
the foot fork. I think the whole the whole ship
needs to just get tossed because she's in her If
she's doing that in the restaurant with people inside, imagine
what she's doing in her room, in her bed, in
the shower.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
In the everywhere. Toss the whole ship. Toss it, I agree.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
I agree. Sink it to the boss and turn it
into a coral reef habitat.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
Be cute like an attraction, like a tourist attraction. You
can take a submarine down to check out the foot
for carnival.

Speaker 4 (49:07):
Cruise shing and like the reason this thing's on the
bottom of the ocean. That one lady with the viral.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
Football with the fork on display, Oh yeah, like hello,
but they don't know which fork it is, so.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
With them, all all of them.

Speaker 6 (49:21):
Yeah, oh my god, you guys.

Speaker 8 (49:23):
I have big news has for the traders community.

Speaker 6 (49:28):
You guys, I don't know if.

Speaker 8 (49:30):
You saw this, but I think they did a secret
drop because, you know how there were rumors. I don't
know if you guys heard, there were rumors that they
were going to drop the micro mini tiny little tope bag.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
You know, I feel like I'm pretty uh, I feel
like I'm pretty Uh what am I trying to date
up to date when it comes to like rumors things
about like uh Taylor or Okay or you know, even
even Megan Markle.

Speaker 12 (49:53):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
But like, I don't really I don't hear any Trader
Joe's rumors are talking about Trade Jo talking the streets,
talk in San Mateo about the Trader Joe's new tiny
little toe bags.

Speaker 8 (50:05):
So they had to postpone that, right, So everybody was
kind of like, ah, it's not happening. We're not getting
any toe bax anytime soon. Well, I had seen like
a little bit of a rumor going around that they
were bringing back the big ones though, the mini, not
the mini ones, the big ones. So then I go
to Trader Joe's, you know, yesterday, and I'm just strolling
by and I see a sign on the door that

(50:26):
says only two topebags per person.

Speaker 6 (50:30):
And I'm like, I wonder why they have the sign there.
So sure enough I go check and they had the
big ones back.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
You guys, don't tell me you got another one because
you already had a Trader Joe.

Speaker 6 (50:40):
I do already have a Trader Joe.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
How often do you use it?

Speaker 8 (50:43):
Actually use it pretty often because anytime I go back
and forth to Selena's or anywhere I.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Go, it's like your luggage.

Speaker 8 (50:49):
It's not my luggage, but I have my luggage, and
then usually if I have extra stuff, I just throw
anything extra in there because.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
It's very sturdy. So I did get another one, like
for what?

Speaker 8 (51:01):
Because they're so sturdy, and the mini one is just
too little, too little, you can't fit anything in that one.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Thank you? So why why do you have many ones
to them? I don't have any mini ones. Okay, I
want one, but I don't need one.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
Wait, but so you're saying they dropped some more toe
bags and there wasn't a line going three miles down
the road.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
I'm confused, so.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Nobody knew about it.

Speaker 8 (51:21):
People didn't know like they This wasn't like an actual
drop that was advertised, so people were weren't aware that
the toe bags were even there.

Speaker 4 (51:30):
You think this is at every store, just your particular one.
They're like, oh, we have a couple of leftover toats here.
I think let's get rid of them.

Speaker 8 (51:35):
I think this was at every store because they had
them hanging up again, and they had they hadn't had
those in a long time.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
To go line up. Everybody, go get line right now.
If you're not already in line, you're not going to
get one.

Speaker 6 (51:46):
You don't have to get in line because I literally
there's my line.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
But now that you mentioned it, people are going to
start lining up and racing down to go get it.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
I thought people didn't even want the big ones because
everybody wanted the mini ones. They're so cute and little, you.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
Know, talking about to bag still yeah, yeah, just checking.

Speaker 8 (52:01):
I think they want I would think they want any
I like the big ones.

Speaker 6 (52:05):
I think they're more practical.

Speaker 4 (52:08):
That I see what you did there a little joke
there little what is and what is? The large? Uh
not talked about released new tote bag set you back.

Speaker 6 (52:24):
I want to say it was four dollars four or five?

Speaker 2 (52:27):
And what do they look like? Is there anything special
about them? Or is it just like the exactly.

Speaker 11 (52:32):
Them?

Speaker 6 (52:32):
But at least they'll come out.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
In different colors, so like if there's a reason if
you're trying to collect them all, like what is this one?

Speaker 8 (52:38):
This one is just to carry my groceries. So it
looks it's literally just.

Speaker 6 (52:42):
A big version, big version of the little one, and
it's in a navy color. And that's it. There's nothing specially, there's.

Speaker 8 (52:49):
Nothing extra special about it.

Speaker 6 (52:50):
But hey, it's not really at least I'm going to
use it.

Speaker 8 (52:54):
Like that's my way of justifying it, is the fact
that I actually use these, oh anything else, I'm a little.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
Less mad, so slightly annoyed, but just because it's trader
Joe's like your toe back.

Speaker 8 (53:07):
I'll let you judge me when I get the smaller one,
because I know I probably won't use that one.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
We'll be judging. Okay, you better believe hey, really quick
tomorrow we are going to be picking a winner for
these Giants tickets. So if you have not left your
talkback yet, there still is time do that right now, Oh,
you don't know how to leave a talkback? Can you
believe people you don't know?

Speaker 6 (53:24):
I like talkbacks.

Speaker 2 (53:28):
Just dream Wildney for nine on the iHeartRadio app and
then hit the red microphone button to leave us a
talkback with your name, and oh you'd want to take
with you to this game to check out, you know,
the giants that they take on the Brewers Oracle Park
coming up here on the twenty eighth. Again, leave those
talkbacks now you might hear your winning talkback tomorrow morning
and coming up next to the JV Show our meeting in.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
The Ladies Room the JV Show on Wild ninety four
to nine.

Speaker 12 (53:51):
I went to Target yesterday and the woman behind me
in line had a whole mess of stuff that she
unloaded from her cart.

Speaker 13 (53:57):
And then she pulled out like seven of the tiny tote.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Bags from Trader does to hold all of her stuff,
Like just bring one big bag a little one stupid agree, Okay,
but if she doesn't have the big bag, it only
has the little ones. At least she's using like reusable
that point.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
I do appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (54:15):
Right right now, you can go get a big one
from Trader Jews Jess the Secret Drop just happened, and
you can get a navy blue one only two.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
Yeah, the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 7 (54:28):
Yess.

Speaker 17 (54:28):
I am right there with you with the Trader Joe's
tote bags. I love mine. I have the cheese one
and the pickle one, and I carry them around with
me all the time. They've got my craft stuff in them,
and they're just they're very durable. I love them a lot.
I also wanted to say, Trader Joe's down here in Florida.

(54:49):
We don't get those crazy long lines around the stores,
so you can walk right in and pick up your
totes anytime, all right, love me, guys, I wow lucky?

Speaker 4 (54:57):
Are we just suckers here in the Bay Area for
virals stuff?

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Maybe?

Speaker 6 (55:04):
What?

Speaker 4 (55:04):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Some tote bags have pickles on them and cheese?

Speaker 6 (55:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:08):
Why am I just hearing about that?

Speaker 8 (55:10):
Those are not the cloth ones, but the ones that
are like that reusable material kind of like the ones
that they have at Marshalls.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
Oh those kind of yeah.

Speaker 6 (55:18):
Yeah, so Trader jo just has those as well.

Speaker 3 (55:20):
Oh, but that's not nobody. Those aren't the viral totes, not.

Speaker 6 (55:25):
The viral ones that people will line up for. But
people still like to get those.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
I have JV show number one in Florida.

Speaker 6 (55:30):
By the way, yes, thanks you much, because.

Speaker 8 (55:33):
You where's my jewelry?

Speaker 4 (55:41):
Can we talk?

Speaker 8 (55:42):
Can we talk about a bigger ache than guys wearing
flip flops twenty four to seven, which, first of all,
we can agree on that, right.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
Yes, totally disagree. Totally disagree because this is you. I
love my pair of rainbows antals. I went to this
little place called you See Santa Barbara and stroll around
there for a minute, and you you live in flip flops.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
That makes sense, but it would just gross me out.

Speaker 6 (56:06):
I don't need to be seeing your toes like, yeah,
thank you, I don't like it. Yeah, there's something I
can't even.

Speaker 2 (56:11):
Imagine my husband wearing flip flops like it just it
looks like a happened.

Speaker 4 (56:18):
He would look great in set of flip flopsy pool
side and he's walking out in sneakers, flies with socks,
not flip flops.

Speaker 6 (56:27):
Even slides without socks, still feels better at the pool.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
He's obviously not wearing socks.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (56:33):
Wait, do you remember when I went to Hurricane Harbor
a few weekends agouh and conquered and like we've talked about,
you know, water parks, people wear like kind of whatever
they want. I know, if you go to the water
park at Great America, they don't let you wear like
denim into like the pool area. You know, they have
the certain things you have, like a dress code for
Hurricane Harbor. I guess it's just like where whatever you want. Yeah,

(56:56):
people were in you know, T shirts, which I get,
you know, that's actually really really calm. But there was
a guy in there. He had on like regular shorts,
like basketball shorts, kind of had on a T shirt.
And I was like, okay, fine. Then I looked down.
The guy's got his socks on.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
He was swimming with the socks on.

Speaker 6 (57:11):
Bro, he was self conscious about his.

Speaker 8 (57:16):
Feet, don't you Okay, sure, sure, everybody's self conscious about something.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
Just you don't wear your socks.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
In the pool.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
I was taken aback back, we're getting sidetracked.

Speaker 3 (57:29):
I would be very taken aback by that.

Speaker 6 (57:30):
Just sorry, Well, this also involves.

Speaker 8 (57:32):
Socks, but this is the opposite of that. Basically, the
bigger ick than a guy wearing flip flops twenty four
seven is guys that don't don't wear socks at all.
With their shoes, which apparently guilty.

Speaker 3 (57:45):
I do that quite a bit during the summer.

Speaker 4 (57:47):
Why because wearing tall wearing socks just doesn't look right
with some types of like summer type guy shoes.

Speaker 3 (57:55):
It just doesn't.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
But they even have like complete no show socks. There
are socks for those kind of like anything.

Speaker 4 (58:02):
Yeah, but if you wear in like a tan like
a leather shoe or something like that, and even you
still still see some of that the white sock peeking out,
and that just doesn't look right.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
It looks stupid.

Speaker 6 (58:12):
It just feels sweaty. Way, don't wear a sock.

Speaker 3 (58:15):
It's really not bad.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
I can't get that's gross.

Speaker 6 (58:20):
I actually I'm shocked you're even saying that.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
I No, I have no shame in that. It's the
right leg, it's the right look.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
If you wore like tall cruise socks with like a
brown like a leather type summer shoe, it would look
socks that.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
Literally just like cover your heel and your toes just
so there's like a layer of sock there.

Speaker 3 (58:38):
That's doing too much. That's just slip your.

Speaker 8 (58:40):
Foot in and go, wait, okay, what about dress shoes?

Speaker 6 (58:42):
Would you find it weird?

Speaker 3 (58:43):
Then?

Speaker 4 (58:45):
I would never wear dress shoes without socks because they're
not comfortable. Like dress shoes are usually kind of digging
and biting into your feet a little bit, and they're
not really as made for made for comfort, you.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
Know, okay on when you don't wear.

Speaker 4 (58:59):
But I've seen playing guys at weddings and stuff where
in summer weddings where no socks with dress shoes.

Speaker 3 (59:03):
I just couldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
I've seen that. I love that look, but I always
assumed they were still wearing like the no show socks.

Speaker 4 (59:09):
I would hope you have something in there, because it
would be you'd have blisters.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Something when you're yeah, when you're wearing uh, your regular
shot whatever shoes you wear without socks, it doesn't like
rub the back of your heel and like irritate that
because no.

Speaker 4 (59:21):
Those ones are like soft in the back and once
they're broken in, they're just like you're super I'll.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
Throw on a pair of sneakers and if I'm wearing
ankle socks, like as I'm walking, it'll like come down
a little bit and like at some point I'm like
I gotta just take I gotta take these off because
I can't the back of my You're blister is like bleeding.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
Yeah, if you're wearing those really low no show socks,
the back part always slips down and then yes, you're
you're gonna have a blister.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Right there on the back of your heel.

Speaker 6 (59:46):
Oh my gosh, I'm shook.

Speaker 8 (59:48):
If I don't like this, I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
There's something about like, oh, I know exactly why it's nasty.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
Yeah, but you don't. You're not seeing my foot, so
what does it matter to you? Yes, I don't have
a sock on.

Speaker 8 (59:58):
When you take it out of that s I just
know it's going to be like sweaty and stinky, and
but I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
Not taking it out for you. You see me walking
around in public, what do you care? I know, when
you get home you take off your shirt, it's gonna
be all sweaty and stinky under your armpits. But I'm
not like, that's not what I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 8 (01:00:13):
I'm saying like, if, like, if my fiance were to
do that, I'd be like, a.

Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Gross, That's fine, I'm not you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
Do you say that about anything. We're having a conversation
about something that gives us the dick, and we're just
saying that's it gives us the eck.

Speaker 8 (01:00:29):
And the reason I brought this up was because comedian
Marcelo Hernandez he's on SNL and I of you guys
have heard of him.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
I have no idea that is you've seen him. I'm
sure you've seen him, but promise you I haven't.

Speaker 6 (01:00:38):
You know you've seen him?

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Okay, I'm good.

Speaker 6 (01:00:40):
He says, yeah, he said this recently.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
Like he has never seen the guy in my life.
What the where are you?

Speaker 6 (01:00:46):
Yeah, our algorithms are different.

Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
Sorry, I don't watch SNL.

Speaker 6 (01:00:50):
But he's yeah, he says, he gets.

Speaker 8 (01:00:52):
Hot, so he like never wears socks with his shoes,
and so he showed his his shoe and he was
wearing a dress shoe and I was like, there is
no way that guys do this.

Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
The sock does make your foot sweatier on hot summer day.

Speaker 11 (01:01:04):
Yuck.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
I don't know. It grosses me out.

Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
Again, it's just capturing to your point.

Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
Yeah, it does not affect us.

Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
You do, but be like, no, totally to be grossed
out totally. No, I'm just I'm arguing at my side
of it. I think that's I think I agree with him.
The sock makes your foot sweatier and grosser.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
And I'm sure there's a lot of things that ladies
do that gross you out. Probably not many, because we're
I mean, you're perfect. What what is that.

Speaker 6 (01:01:29):
You know on the list?

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Yeah, of course, yeah, anything.

Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
We're going to continue this meeting in the ladies room coming.

Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
Home the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
We were just talking about socks in our meeting in
the ladies room, Jess, you said, because is this a
bigger ick than guys wearing flip flops? Is wearing shoes
with them up with no salts?

Speaker 6 (01:01:49):
Very icky?

Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
But hey, guys, it's dave out a littlemore. I got
a side with Graham on this one.

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
I am guilty of wearing no socks with my shoes.

Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
It's it's just it's just easier.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
You just put them on and go, and you know,
I get hot easily, so it just works for me.

Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Agreed, totally agree.

Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
Do you guys ever slip your feet into shoes with
no socks on?

Speaker 8 (01:02:13):
Like?

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
For example, I keep a pair of like old shoes
by the back door of my house. I need to
go do something in the yard, I'm walking around barefoot
in the house. I'll just throw those on and then
walk around the yard to do whatever. The thing I
need to do is no, so you would go go
to your dresser, get some socks up, put them on the.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
Sides, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Or if it's like if my crocs are right there,
it's crocs, I'm good with that. But even crocs I
usually wear. I usually wear socks on my crocs. So
I'd be really grossed out if my if my husband
didn't wear socks with his shoes, just.

Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
Like me to do something in the yard that like
you needed.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Shoes even do that, he's grossed out.

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
He won't go into the.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Yard just that. One of the kids did that one
time and he's like, are you crazy? Go put some
socks on? That is nasty.

Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
It was like, I agree, thanks you so weird.

Speaker 8 (01:02:57):
Listen if it's like, oh, you're just you know, throwing
out the track like it's something super quick, like okay,
I get it. But if you're going through your whole day,
like your whole work day, and it's eight hours and
you've been sweating.

Speaker 6 (01:03:09):
In those things, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
But the sock doesn't eliminate your foot from sweating.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
And that's where I guess I don't get where the
grossness is. It's the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
You sweat right through your sock and then the sweatiness
is all it's it's like your.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Sock that you take out of your shoe and then
wash your socks. But I mean, if you don't, you're
not taking out the inside of your shoe and like
they're putting that in the wash. Do you know what
I mean?

Speaker 12 (01:03:30):
I do?

Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
Also the insight really yeah, every now and again, you
don't throw your shoes through the wash?

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
No, I do? All right?

Speaker 4 (01:03:37):
Anyways, sock talk continues here on the JV Show because
I saw this, you guys, and I thought this was
very interesting. Apparently the Great sock Debate, if you guys
remember this where they were saying, easiest way to spot
a millennial is it they have ankle socks and gen
Z they have crew saw the tall crew socks? Well,

(01:03:58):
gen Z apparently they're out on the crew socks has
come and gone. A lot of people interviewed in this
article that I read, and they were basically saying, I
think the sneaker should be the statement and the sock
detracts from it. Not to mention the weird tan lines
when you're wearing the tall socks. Other people said it
just looks too childish. It looks very kid like to

(01:04:20):
have like big tall cruise socks on. So they say,
the ankle socks are back, you guys, so welcome back.
If you tried to make the switch to cru socks
and thought it looked ridiculous, I don't worry. You can
now go safely back to the ankle socks without the judgment.
There are some shoes that some people said they were like, well,
you probably shouldn't wear like the really low no show

(01:04:41):
or ankle socks with like a pair of Jordan's. One
person said, you're going to get flamed for doing that,
but otherwise sorry, it's They tried it, and they thought
gen Z was gonna stick. They were going to stick
with the taller crew sock, and it's done, you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Doesn't this just speak to like the cycle of things
because it's not like like.

Speaker 11 (01:05:00):
The circles of sock.

Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
Yeah, yeah, but that was the cycle usually takes a
little longer than two years.

Speaker 6 (01:05:08):
Wait, I'm not more than two years.

Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
The Great Sock Debate was twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Just can you ever go to ankle socks dress?

Speaker 8 (01:05:14):
I still have some left from like you know, the
olden days, but I only wear those if I'm like
around the house like whatever, Like, no nobody's see them flares. Yeah,
but I really don't like the look of them out,
especially even if I'm going to the gym. My ankles
are too skinny to not have something covering them.

Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
I've heard that before. Ankle's too skinny.

Speaker 8 (01:05:35):
Yeah, Like, it's just my leg looks weirdly skinnier when
I'm wearing ankle.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Socks versus the crew sock. I've gotten so accustomed now
to seeing the crew socks that, like now it instantly
stands out to me if someone has ankle socks.

Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
Yeah, yeah, sorry, it's done.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:05:51):
According to this and interesting in this article, just a
lot of people were ladies were saying the ankle sock
helps accentuate the shape of your leg better, so you
are actively trying to not have that, right.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
It's just I think it is that because it makes
her ankles look thicker, damn ankles, which makes her legs
look more proportional.

Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
I guess I've never heard of anyone wanting thicker ankles before. Well,
this is new to me, all right, So ladies and
because it is a meeting in the ladies room. What
type of socks is your go to right now? In
sock talk on the JV Show twenty times.

Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Honestly, I still do both right now. I have on Crew.
Yesterday I wear ankle socks.

Speaker 6 (01:06:29):
I'm sticking with cruise.

Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
So if you were wearing let's just say, because this
summer you're wearing shorts and you're wearing some kind of shoe,
what soccer are you wearing with it?

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
You're going tall sock?

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Yeah, yeah, if I'm wearing socks at all, it's probably
crue interesting.

Speaker 8 (01:06:46):
I'm definitely not the like brand socks type of person though,
Like my socks are always either blank or they have
some random little logo on it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:53):
But it's never like Nike socks or any of that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:56):
So I just can't imagine like the short Geene shorts
like cruising around for the summer pool set, and then
just the tall the big tall crew.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
So that's like such a weird Well, no socks, but
like shorts, creuse sock sneakers is.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Cute but also was cute according to.

Speaker 8 (01:07:12):
Gen Z According to this, you're right, but also I
don't know if I'm picturing the wrong type of cruise sock,
because I think the guys, the guy ones are a
lot longer. I'm thinking about the ones that are like
just a little above the inkle.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
Okay, so there are half those are quarter spitter length socks.
Those they said. Gen Z says, those are like sort
of acceptable. And if you are going to wear the
long cruise sock, which is what we're all picturing, they say,
you need to get to ones that slouch or you
have to bunch them down down to that quarter length height.

Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
Okay, that's the better way to fill a sock rule. Okay.
A lot of soft talk kept the talk.

Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
Dang it the JV show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
Four nine by for nine were the base never went
hit music station. Oh hold on, wait, wait, wait on,
hold up, wait a minute, but nothing came out. All right,
here's the talk back.

Speaker 6 (01:08:00):
The morning JV show.

Speaker 15 (01:08:02):
This is Lorenda from balleto the whole thing on the
sock debate. I still wear ankle socks and I'm three,
and uh.

Speaker 6 (01:08:13):
Yeah, I think they're cool.

Speaker 15 (01:08:16):
And sometimes they even get the character ones, like right now,
I have jigglypuff ankle sock songs.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
All right, bye, guys, Wait, that's kind.

Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Of ankle socks.

Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
It's one of the pokemon. Okay, do those come in squirtle.

Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
I hope I could get some squirtle ankle socks. That'd
be great.

Speaker 4 (01:08:33):
Yeah, we were talking about gen Z apparently done with
cru socks and ankle socks are back meeting in.

Speaker 7 (01:08:39):
The latest room sock debate. It's Antoinette from San Jose.
So I wear Crew because I have like, of course
go niners socks, and I have ankle socks, I have
quarterlink socks. I wear all of them. Shout out to
Costco with the short socks or ankle sock. And I

(01:09:01):
love my legs and I have a tattoo on my ankle,
so shorts, ankle socks shoes show it off.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:09:09):
I mean not to reignite the whole sock debate, but
I do have one question for you ladies, because I
feel like because earlier you were saying, well, guys, if
you're not wearing socks with.

Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Your shoes, ooh gross.

Speaker 4 (01:09:20):
Look so and everybody freaks out, but aren't a lot
of ladies' shoes like? Correct me if I'm wrong, Like
a lot of lady shoes that you would wear, like
in more like business casual, professional setting, Like you're not
wearing socks under those, right, But.

Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
It seems like those were made for no socks.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
But they have what's the difference, Like if I ever
had socks, I mean sorry, shoes that were like that
where you can see like a portion of my foot,
Like I wore the No Show ones, the No Show socks.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
Yeah, oh, I was gonna say, I don't think my
wife has any of those. Like if you're wearing like
a for.

Speaker 4 (01:09:48):
Like business office setting flats, yeah, like a flat or
something like that, I assume you're going in there barefoot.
Am I wrong about that? Because I'm sure that's what
my wife does and she has a lot of business.

Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
I mean I personally wore like the no like the
No Show socks, but I mean it's not as disgusting
when a woman does it because it's the same. It's
the same as like wearing pumps, Like you're not wearing
socks when you're wearing like your pump heels.

Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
Something about a guy, the bacteria is still bacteria first
when it's a guy.

Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
It's science, scientific.

Speaker 13 (01:10:26):
Music, movies, shows and the most talked about stories happening
today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
Okay, Jess, I think you know who I'm going to
talk about here a Landria and Nick broke up.

Speaker 6 (01:10:37):
Nick Alandria, Oh no, Grandma know you're like.

Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
I don't even know how to spell Nicolandrias.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
This is a couple from the last season of Love Island.
Nick is the one that was like Mama Sita. They
didn't win the season, but they were the wronger ups
and they were definitely a fan favorite. And now people
is reporting that they are done. The source said that
it's really due to the distance between them and their
busy schedules. It just made it really challenging to maintain
their connection. But they're still good friends and there's no

(01:11:05):
hard feelings.

Speaker 8 (01:11:06):
And a lot of people are saying, hmmm, interesting that it's.

Speaker 6 (01:11:10):
A year later.

Speaker 8 (01:11:11):
Maybe there was a contract involved, and you guys weren't
never dating.

Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
In the first place. I wouldn't put that past them.

Speaker 8 (01:11:16):
There was a lot of like speculations to begin with
when their relationship started, because people were like, they're just
dating for like the cloud of it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
I mean, don't you think that with any couple that
meets on the reality show.

Speaker 8 (01:11:27):
Yeah, I still like Nicolandria, but I mean over it
Jesus are done well. I like them separately too, mainly
her because she's like a baddie.

Speaker 6 (01:11:36):
I know she's thriving, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
Something else pretty cool that not that that breakup was cool,
but something else is so awesome, something pretty cool that
I wanted to put on your radar. So you know
how Ed Sharon is performing at Levi's on Saturday. Well,
earlier in the day, there is going to be an
Edge Sharon lookalike contest, So calling all Ed lookalikes. This

(01:11:58):
is going to be held at Valley Fair one o'clock
at the Center Court on Level one and listen to
like the main prize if you win this, you got
two four seats to Ed sold out concerts.

Speaker 4 (01:12:10):
Whoa very cool. So if you look like it's sure
and listen up.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Yeah. Other prizes are going to include a one hundred
dollars Eateraly gift card and a fifty dollars Alamo Draft
House gift card. You do have to RSVP, so you
go to Valley Fairs Social media and they have all
of your information right there so you can RSVP for.

Speaker 3 (01:12:27):
Your SMIDT very fun tickets free. I like it, Grammy, all.

Speaker 4 (01:12:30):
Right, did you guys see the video of the viral
bear on top of the power pole. I have an
update on that bear's condition and oh no, you guys,
it's not good. If you have not seen the video,
you can go right now to JV Morning Show on Instagram.
It is on our story there. When I first saw
this video, I was like, what in the AI is this?
Because picture a very tall power pool about forty feet tall,

(01:12:54):
and the pole and the poll looks like, you know,
traditional power pool that's very high, And that's what I said.
It looked very AI because the bear is very big
and he's all the way at the top of it,
sort of almost laying at the top of it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
My second thought was like, is this from like a
tornado and the bear got like blown on top of
the launch up there?

Speaker 4 (01:13:12):
Yeah, it doesn't look like he should be able to
be in the position that he is, but you know,
you know, bears are proficient climbers. Unfortunately, that bear and
a lot of people in New Mexico that were driving
down the highway stop to take video of it, because
again you have to see it on our story it
looks so ridiculous. How is this giant bear up there
on top of this very tall powerpole. Unfortunately, that bear

(01:13:33):
was electrocuted and it died.

Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
The four wildlife.

Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
Officials could attempt any sort of rescue of it. So
take a moment and say your goodbyes to that bear.
But you do need to go see this video. You
can tell in the video that the bear, he may
have already at this point, suffered some electric shocks because
he doesn't seem he looks like he's laboring a bit.

Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
He or she. I don't know if it's a female bear.

Speaker 4 (01:13:57):
It looks like it's laboring a bit like it's then
it's not acting normal, you know, So I'm assuming at
that point it had.

Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Probably already touched the touched a couple of the wires
and wasn't doing good.

Speaker 4 (01:14:08):
But yeah, a lot of people called to report it,
which was the right course of action, I guess, but
they weren't able to do anything for it in time.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Oh thanks for bringing them down there.

Speaker 3 (01:14:19):
Yeah, but still look at the go watch the video
because it's.

Speaker 8 (01:14:21):
Like, well, yeah, but if I watch the video, I
know how it ends.

Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
I know.

Speaker 6 (01:14:25):
Sad spoiler alert.

Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
Sorry bear, all right, but yeah, if you do want
to go check that out. I I was like this
cannot be real when I stirst saw JV Morning Show
there on our Instagram, the.

Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
Graham, what do you have here?

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:14:39):
Wedding season we know in full swing right now. And
if you're somebody that always stands on the sidelines of
the dance floor because you have two left feet or
just no rhythm, but you've always wanted to be the
star of the dance floor, have all eyes on you,
be the life of the party. I have just a
solution for you. Dance lessons, Well not just any lessons.
I'm talking about virtual dance lessons. There's a new app

(01:15:01):
called Dance Guru, and you just pop on your VR
headset and a digital dancing coach takes it from there.
They'll teach you whatever steps you want to learn, salsa, waltz, waize.

Speaker 3 (01:15:16):
You name it. You can have it teach you anything
you want.

Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
And I've heard the digital dance instructors are aren't too
bad to look at either, which is nice.

Speaker 11 (01:15:25):
Really, would you.

Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Guys ever take virtual dance lessons?

Speaker 6 (01:15:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
No, why not?

Speaker 4 (01:15:32):
Not?

Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
To say I don't need it? I'm sure I am
more than positive that I could benefit from some dance lessons,
but I could never bring myself to take virtual dance
lessons or real life ones. I just can't.

Speaker 4 (01:15:43):
The real life ones, that's the thing. And a bunch
of strangers in there and awkward like that would.

Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
Be What if it's like one on one, like private lessons.

Speaker 4 (01:15:51):
That's still uncomfortable. That would be very uncomfortable. A virtual
instructor who's not judging you and thinking inside their head
like why is this person sucks about a dancing and
why are they so sweaty?

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
You know what I mean? The virtual one doesn't know
that about you. They don't care. They're just gonna teach you.

Speaker 6 (01:16:06):
The in person one is not.

Speaker 8 (01:16:07):
As bad as you, guys think you've taken dance lessons.

Speaker 6 (01:16:09):
We did, I think I want to say it was
like a few classes a while back.

Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
You say, man, yeah we did.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
We did like.

Speaker 6 (01:16:19):
Classes.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
It was like a cute romantic that's just this group
like salsa dance night, like for a couple's nights. Like
that's cute. That's different. But like actual legitimate dance lessons,
I would.

Speaker 8 (01:16:31):
Do it in person, not virtually, because in person I
need you to like show me exactly what I'm doing.
Right and wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:16:39):
That's what they're doing. That's what your digital dance instructure
is doing.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
And it's just more convenient because you can do it
from the comfort of your own home. Yeah, whenever you want,
on your time.

Speaker 6 (01:16:47):
Virtual just doesn't seem I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:16:51):
It's so lifelike nowadays, the VR headsets, it's incredible in there.
It's gonna make it feel like you're an in an
actual dance studio with a professional dance instructor again, and
you can type in and have it teach you basically
whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
Again. This app is called Dance Guru.

Speaker 4 (01:17:05):
I'm that I don't know, and I'm not sure if
it's compatible with different ones or not. Now look, I
would never as a guy, and I just I could
never bring myself to go to an actual dance lesson
in person. I'd be too uncomfortable night with your wife. Yeah,
maybe that, but that's different. I'm talking about like somebody

(01:17:26):
who wants to learn how to like have some regular
moves at you know, and be able to hit the
dance floor at a wedding or a party or whatever
and be able to dance.

Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
And not embarrass themselves.

Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
But having a virtual option that's way less embarrassing, except
if anybody, you know, walks into the room and records
a video of you dancing in the VR headset. And
I could never risk that because that would be the
funniest video time.

Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
And for that reason, I'm out.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
I'm out doing Just quick question, are you concerned at
all about your man's dancing for like your own wedding
you have coming up?

Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
We want to we need him to practice a little
bit more.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
Yet here you go, vat but I.

Speaker 8 (01:18:09):
Need to practice with him, like we need to practice,
you know, he.

Speaker 6 (01:18:12):
Needst Yes, there you go. He needs a little bit
of like.

Speaker 2 (01:18:16):
You guys can like both do it in each other's
metaverse or something.

Speaker 6 (01:18:19):
Yeah, but now I need to buy a VR headset.
I don't have that. That sounds expensive.

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
We can use it afterwards for their marketplace fun stuff. Yeah,
you got everything.

Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
Weren't we all supposed to be walking around by now
wearing the VR headsets from Apple?

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
Or that's what I thought.

Speaker 8 (01:18:32):
Wait, so then if we're both trying it out, we
both need a headset and we're just like we have
different instructors or can we like combine it into one?

Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
Too many questions, too many questions.

Speaker 6 (01:18:43):
Okay, okay, I guess I'll look into it.

Speaker 4 (01:18:45):
I think it's a great I think it's a great option.
But you need to make sure the door is locked
to whatever room you're practicing.

Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
So it's like, get two headsets and then you tell
your fiance that you guys are both going to take
like lessons at the same time, and he's like, okay, okay.
Then he puts his headset on, but then you don't
put yours on it. Instead you record.

Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
HND just watch him.

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
I like that idea.

Speaker 3 (01:19:03):
Stare up.

Speaker 6 (01:19:03):
I'll just grab a snack and laugh at the viral
