Speaker 1 (00:00):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Four nine Body for Nina Bays number one hit music station,
The JV Show. I'm Selena and I'm Jess. First talk
back of the day.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Hey, guys, good morning, it's Angie. Hey, thanks for this
shout out yesterday, Graham for Ruby. Thanks for catching that
I forgot her name. That was rude of me. Interesting though,
I was listening to the podcast and I didn't hear
Sadi said on there, did Jess purposely leave it off

(00:29):
of the podcast? Jess, I need an explanation. Where's my
daughter's happy birthday song? Okay, have a good one?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Are you nat?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (00:39):
I did purposely leave it out, Angie.

Speaker 6 (00:41):
Sorry, just kidding, not sorry.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
That was my bad.

Speaker 6 (00:47):
I did not see that clip. I will go back
and it will be in the podcast.

Speaker 7 (00:51):
Because Angie had sent us a DM asking for a
birthday shout out for her daughter Ruby.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I had one request, just one request birthday our.

Speaker 7 (01:00):
Other listeners said, he said, seeing his infamous birthday song
on the talk back, which he did.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
Yeah, and then Grandma I thought your reaction and you
were you were like, oh, this is going on too long.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
So I was like, Okay, kind it out.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
Yeah, maybe I should just take it out of the
podcast so that other listeners don't have.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
That same reaction.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You did say nobody really cares about her birthday, so like,
why taking your input? Well, that's what it was.

Speaker 7 (01:23):
Sorry, that's what we say about everybody's birthday. Yeah, I
mean sorry, So so at the end of the day.
So the takeaway here and what I'm hearing is it
was a personal attack at Angie. You said, f B,
I don't care what she says about her daughter. Got
enough birthday shout out the show.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
But today you know you're backtracking, You're going to add
it in.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Angie, we love you.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
I think the shout out was just at a time
that we usually don't have like a clip, so I
probably just you know, skipped through it.

Speaker 7 (01:51):
Remember right before, like it was a big segment. It
was like right at eight twenty or something.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I was like, I will find it. You're gonna add it,
will today be there?

Speaker 7 (02:00):
Thank you. I've been, you know, in a fight in
my life, in my in my own DMS as like, look,
we're into a graduation and birthday graduation season and then
birthdays and the amount of shout outs that I'm compiling
each morning and then give it out on these airwaves.
A huge number. I just let the record show we're
an under five percent. Thank you, like right, you know

(02:20):
when people hear it, they you know, to slide back
and say, hey, thanks, my kids love it. We're under
five percent. That's that's neither here nor there. But the
number of people that then come back to me, hey,
I didn't hear my kids shout out that I sent you.
And I was like, oh, no, we you know we
did it. No, it's no, you didn't do it.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Well, yeah, yeah I did.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
I'm in a back and forth right now. And then
I go back and then.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Like they're trying to tell you that you didn't do
it when you.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
Did it, right, I didn't hear it. We didn't hear it,
So could you do it again tomorrow? And I'm like, no, again,
we you.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Know we did it.

Speaker 7 (02:50):
And then and then they say, well no, and I
direct them to the podcast. Look, if you if you
love the JV Show, please listen to our podcast and
catch anything you missed on there. And if you may
have missed your kids shout out for some reason, it's
it's in there, and so yesterday and then you know.
Then I go back and listen just to confirm that
I'm not going crazy because I'm like, oh, I remember
doing that shout out and then I hear it, and

(03:10):
then I direct them to that, and then I still
get a response. Nope, I checked, it's not in there.
I'm like, I I have ears.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
The amounts of requests and demands and just the entitlement
when it comes to shout outs, it blows my mind.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
But we love no.

Speaker 7 (03:26):
I want everyone to get their shout out. I want
to I want everyone to be happy.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
And when they asked for a specific time, and it's
like we're in the middle of commercials and like, we can't.
We just can't do it at that don't do.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
It that specific time. We try to accommodate everyone. I'm
doing my best. I'm doing my best.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
People.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
It's a lot with graduations and all the birthdays and everything,
and a lot of people are stacking up early shout
outs because they know they're not gonna be listening for
the next couple of months. That irks me a little.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Bit, but okay, but when.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
I come with the receipts that I have listened to it,
just believe me, because I have heard your shout out
in the podcast there use your ears then, and.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Graham has a phenomenal memory, so if he says he
did it, he ain't lying.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
That concludes talk about shout outs.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
All right, I love it. Let's go over the winning
we have for today because oh my.

Speaker 6 (04:16):

JV show, and then tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (04:41):

Speaker 7 (06:34):
Look to your elders for help navigating everything life is
throwing at you right now. Their old school wisdom is
actually hitting different today, even if their blunt delivery stings
a little, sit with it. Sometimes the most pointed advice
comes from the people who who have watched you the longest.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Oh, oh, can I throw one quick shout out in here?

Speaker 9 (06:53):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Song anymore?

Speaker 7 (06:54):
Yeah, just a quick second. It's my buddy Johnny Torres
and Napa. I heard us talking about all the shout outs,
and He's like, hold my beer. I'd like to get
it on this action. I would love, so he just
would like a shout out for himself. He's listening right now,
and Johnny love you, buddy, appreciate.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Perfect The JV Show on Wild ninety four.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Nine, w Jess, did you watch the Michael Jackson Doctor series?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Because I want to talk about it? You watch the
entire thing already.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I watched the entire thing three episodes.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
Are you shook us?

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I am shook it.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
I didn't realize how much I didn't know about the
whole everything that went down with the ACCUCA.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
It's worse than you thought.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
It's worse than it's I knew it was bad, and
it was.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
It was a lot. It was a lot to take in.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
I think there's a lot of people in that boat
that don't quite grasp the scope of all the allegations
because yeah, he's found not guilty in his one court trial,
but they're.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Especially for people like me, like I was so young
when yeah I was. Now I'm only twenty six and
a half, so it's kind of like, you know, but
you don't really know.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
I think I was in fifth grade, so I don't
remember actually hearing about the case.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
Yeah, well, and all you know only so much about
different allegations and stuff came out. You have to keep
in mind that Michael Jackson's estate had a lot of power,
an insane amount of power and money to silence.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Oh, don't spoilt Yes, fine, watch it though I was
trying to last night, but my husband made me put
on the stupid finals, Like why do they care exactly? Yeah,
but don't spoil it for Okay, I'll watch it. I'll
watch it today.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Allegedly are the finals on again tomorrow? Okay, Okay, I
think I'm good. I think I'm good. All right, Graham,
all right?

Speaker 7 (08:47):
Could wine be the thing that you fill your gas
tank with? Please know there are some researchers in Australia
that are looking into this right now. Look, we got
rising gas prices around the nation and sorry around the globe,
I should say, particularly here. God, I filled up the
other day and I'm going bankrupt. But one of the

(09:09):
things that we have a lot of extra right now,
of not gas, We've got a lot of extra wine.
Australia is one of those places where they have they say,
a two hundred and sixty three million leader. I don't
have to get my calculator to do the conversion there
to gallons, but two hundred and sixty two hundred and
sixty three million leader surplus of wine right now, wine drinking,

(09:32):
we know, alcohol consumption in general is down to levels
that we haven't seen since the sixties. I think people
just aren't drinking as much anymore, particularly not drinking as
much wine. We've seen this same problem playing out here
in the United States and in wine country here locally. Well.
One of the ideas, what do we do with all

(09:52):
this extra wine is to distill it again and turn
it into ethanol, which we know that there are cars
that can run on flex fuels at biofuels and ethanol,
and you're basically turning it into a fuel source. And
they're saying, this is actually an idea that's worth exploring
if they can make it cost effective to do so.

(10:14):
But since people aren't gonna drink this wine, the ethanol
that's in the wine, it's just sitting right in there.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
You just have to.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
Throw it through an extra distillation process and next thing
you know, you can extract it and turn it into
fuel for other things like that.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Like a good solution. I will admit that, but I
just hate to see wine not be wine like you're
supposed to be drink well.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Then doing your part and start drinking more.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I can't do it all alone. I need everybody to
join in with me. Drink above the wine.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
My wife works in the wine business right now, and
every time the numbers come out, it's like, oh no,
nobody's drinking anymore.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Can everyone do their part?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
The only ones still drinking?

Speaker 7 (10:55):
I'm still drinking. I'm still drinking the wine. Me too,
Although I turned down a glass last night.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
My god, I can't mean that wine headache.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
The midweek drinking sound a thing.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
After drinking you ever, like go back and you have
like a glass of like red wine or something sitting out,
and just the smell of it is enough to like
make you sickly. It's not gonna like smell like wine
right once they know they turn it into gas.

Speaker 7 (11:18):
No, it smell like rubbing alcohol.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Ooh yeah, I don't want that either.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
Yeah yeah, but this is already a thing. They already
use ethanol to power different things. Why not if we're
why not get it. I've seen that license plate.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Oh yeah, I've seen signs like that at ross.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Yeah, why not? Why not?

Speaker 7 (11:37):
It's worth it, It's worth a shot rather than it
eventually just getting you know, dumped out basically, or yeah,
I get let's use it for something.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I get it. Look at these scientists coming up with solutions.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
In the JV Show, I'm Selena and I'm just so
a couple of new features coming to iPhone. Listen up, people, Graham,
you don't have an iPhone, I do not. You do not?

Speaker 7 (11:59):
You my wife does.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Okay, so you're familiar with what is already on iPhones
and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Do you want? It's all the stuff that.

Speaker 7 (12:07):
Users had like four five years ago.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
It's all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
It's not as embarrassing to have just repackage the same stuff.

Speaker 7 (12:15):
But continue, I'm very excited.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Well you you can go ahead and lay out the
first thing coming all.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Right, here you go.

Speaker 7 (12:20):
If you're somebody that struggles with how to split up
a restaurant bill, say you're out on a group dinner
and you don't want to have your struggling to figure
out who owes what? Apple has just the thing for you.
They're going to unveil a brand new iPhone feature that's
gonna help you do it. How is this new I agree.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Are you already have a calculator on your phone?

Speaker 2 (12:41):
But then you have to know like it's just too much,
just too many.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
Steps, Okay, So you'll be able with this new feature.
You'll be able to take a picture of the check
that came from the restaurant, and then on that you'll
be able to swipe right there and assign different items
to different people, and it will sort of split up
and calculate how much each person owes. And that way
you can you know, on that thing, well, I had

(13:05):
the lobster, and I had the whatever, and I had
this many drinks, and you can highlight the things you had,
and then everybody will be able to know exactly how
much they owe. And then it's gonna connect to your
Apple Pay features and you can send and receive the
money directly right there through your iPhone, So that way

(13:25):
people can't pay you right there on the spot and
streamline the whole process. I did.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
I do really like this, But isn't this something that
we could all do now with the use of AI.
Like I feel like all these features moving forward, or
at least most of them, are made possible and made
easier for Apple to implement because AI is doing all
the work, right, Like, I'm pretty sure if you did
the same thing it just uploaded a picture of your
receipt to chat GBT and explain what she was trying
to do, that it would just do it for you.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
Yeah, but that's I guess that is a little clunkier
because you could, Yeah, you can upload the picture of
your receipt, but you would still have to say, well,
Jess had the two espresso martinis and then this person,
and you have to sit there and enter all that information.
You know this at least you can write there on
one screen. I see the practicality of this, but again,

(14:10):
what how how is.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Here we go?

Speaker 6 (14:12):
I mean, I know the calculator come on, yeah, and
I know that there's already apps that do this for you,
but I kind of like the fact that this is
going to be a feature just on your phone are
redult because I am tired of downloading an app for
every single thing that we need to do. I know,
I'm glad this is good.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I like this too, But the other thing, I thought
it wasn't like cool to to like be picky about
splitting the bill and like, oh well I only got
this and that from what we've talked about on the show.
I thought we were supposed to just be splitting evenly.

Speaker 7 (14:40):
I'm glad you brought that up because I was going
to ask, who are you guys when it comes to
splitting the restaurant bill? Because I'm the let's all just
split it evenly. And then in that case, a calculator
takes any place of all this, right, the calculator can
divide by six, or divide the total by eight, or
however many people you got. So who are you guys
when it comes to splitting the check? I may let's

(15:03):
all split it even kind of.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Person, even if it's really uneven, you still feel like that.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
But how even are we talking? I mean, I guess
if I went to a restaurant and I only had
a glass of water and I didn't order anything. Yes,
I don't want to split the check even. I understand that.
But if everybody, if we go to a group dinner
and everybody orders food and or orders a drink and
maybe one menu, maybe one entrede costs thirty dollars, and
somebody got a menu on in the cost twenty five dollars,

(15:29):
I don't care spilit it even, see.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I always want to pay for what I order it
because I'm getting the most expensive thing on the menu,
like I'm getting.

Speaker 7 (15:37):
Off and getting That's a tactic that I taught you
because I was like, if you go to a group, no,
but you order the most expensive thing because you're all
going to pay for it.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
That's not why I want to pay for my items,
because it's it's more than everybody else's, so I don't
want anybody paying for it. I want to pay. Yeah,
but if I have or if I have my kids
ordered something, then like I want to pay for them.
I don't want to split it evenly and someone's paying.
Like I know it's not much, it's like a seven
dollars kids meal, but still, dang, I feel.

Speaker 7 (16:03):
Like i've If you have kids there, though, you have
to factor them as an additional person on your side because.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Now my kid ordered a seven dollar meal, they're paying
thirty dollars or they're splitting evenly too.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Yeah, but you if you brought your gaggle of kids
and then I and and it's just me and you
and all your gaggle of kids, yeah, you you owe
a disproportionate amount of the bill because you're accounting for
three people or four people.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Right, No, yeah, but I'm talking about like just one kid,
like if I had just one obviously, if I had
my whole entire family, like, I would just cover it.
If it's just like my family and you, like, I
guess I.

Speaker 7 (16:36):
Don't do a lot of group dinners where there's one
solo kid at the you know.

Speaker 8 (16:39):
What I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
I did time when I only had one kid.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
I understood how that could complicate things. Okay, so I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
So that's why when I go out with the group,
I do want to pay for myself, right.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Just yeah, I feel like I'm the same way where
like I don't mind just splitting it evenly.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
But I think I've been doing.

Speaker 6 (16:55):
It wrong this whole time because a lot of the
times I do just order like, okay, this seems like
a little bit less expensive, let me order that.

Speaker 7 (17:02):
That's a mistake.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
Yeah, I realize that, like I've been doing it wrong.
I need to order the most expensive thing. If I'm
splitting it with everybody else, you gotta pay.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
For it one way another.

Speaker 7 (17:11):
So there's always one person that's gonna get that surf
and turf, and then so you should too because it's
all good. I'm talking about when you especially when you
go to like that big birthday dinner or something, there's
like twelve people there or whatever it is, So is
such a pain in the butt if everybody wants to
itemize and do that. I know, and people always short
change you on the itemizing. Well, I only have that,
and then they forget about that. Okay, there is some

(17:33):
tax in there, and they don't order the tip amount
and all this stuff, and they always short change. And
when you get that pile of cards and money at
the end, you're like, this doesn't total up to the totalist?
So who didn't throw in enough? Split it evenly? Avoid
all that.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I feel like that's not fair for everyone, because like
maybe you had one drink and then there's like two
people that had six.

Speaker 7 (17:51):
You should be the person that has the six.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
So what if I can't. I'm driving right, it might
pay for your drink, get an extra appetizer.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
I don't want to appetizer. I just want to pay
for what I got.

Speaker 7 (18:00):
I'm just telling you. It's the way. It's the way.
It's it's the way it's gotta be. Well, now you
can get your new precious so iPhone.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
This solves everything. I like this. I like this new
feature on that. Do we know when it's rolling out?

Speaker 7 (18:11):
Uh? Sometime soon coming in the new iOS twenty seven updates.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Oh, I don't want to update my phone though.

Speaker 7 (18:19):
You need to turn into a brick pretty soon.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Jess is complaining earlier about her iPhone thirteen.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Guys, actually the thirteen is that bad.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
I don't know which what are we on old?

Speaker 6 (18:30):
I think they're on the seventeen now, But the iPhone
thirteen there's a lot of.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Complaints and it's starting to affect me.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
You guys, like my phone Sometimes I'll like, I'll be typing,
but it's not actually typing, and then it'll type the
letters afterwards once I've already tried to delete everything.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
It just glitches a lot.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
And I think that a lot of people are worried
that the iPhone thirteen is just like it's it's death
days near.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
It's time to put it out to be that death.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Was it already happened when like the fourteen can no?

Speaker 6 (18:58):
You know, the iPhone thirteen is actually the most popular model.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
So many people still have the I from nineteen. You'd
be surprised. So I don't want to get rid of it.
I don't want a new one, maybe because.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I don't want to have the time.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
It's Apple.

Speaker 7 (19:11):
Apple decides when they when they're whatever thing is falls
out of favor because I've had different you know, Mac
computers or whatever over the years and iPads, and pretty
soon they're just like, we don't even make it update
for that anymore.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Well why not?

Speaker 7 (19:23):
It works perfectly fine? You know it won't soon and
then pretty it just.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Shuts up glitching for a reason. Jess why I'm scared
to move on.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
I'm gonna hold on to it until it just has
its last breath.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Good.

Speaker 10 (19:38):
Morning JV Show. This is those from times A. Yeah
about the last thing you guys were talking about about
splitting the bill. That's why anytime I go out to
eat with anybody, I always bring cash, enough for me
and enough for my fiance. And I usually told my friends, hey,
you guys better bring cash because if not, one of
yous can put down your card. So I always bring cash.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
I just pay with cash so that I don't have to.

Speaker 10 (20:03):
Put my car down.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
I have to, you know, look for people to pay
me back.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Okay, that's smart yeah, but Harry Cash, I know that's
you guys, never have cash, never that one. Yeah, that's
not gonna happen. That's why you have that cash app.
And like Venmo and stuff.

Speaker 6 (20:19):
I will say, though, it is easier when it is
just couples because then you just split it into like,
let's say three couples and you're good there.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Yeah, or we don't have to think about it because
all right, our guys don't ye, thank you? All right, Graham,
what do you happens? Today's that is trending?

Speaker 7 (20:35):
All right? Move over Santa Clara, Slapper Cow, poly Butt
Sniffer and the Barnes and Noble Nibbler because there's a
new perp that we need to try to catch and
he's operating here in the Bay Area.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
All right, that and more.

Speaker 11 (20:46):
Next, it's all the stuff you need to know, what's
hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about
stories happening today in the bag.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
So you guys didn't see what Doja Cat said to
Elon Musk yesterday? No, okay, So last year, let me
just give you a little bit of context here. Last year,
Elon removed the audio post feature from Twitter, right, and
that allowed users to post standalone voice notes. Doja really
really liked that feature? So yesterday she tweeted, Hey, Elon,
if you see this, please put the audio post feature

(21:17):
back on here. Thanks you frog built look in be
barrel chested ewalk. You look like you eat sand. That's
one way to ask, I guess, but would well your
frog built looking be barrel chested ewalk, you look like

(21:40):
you eat sand.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
It tracks.

Speaker 7 (21:45):
That's pretty accurate. That's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Yeah, I don't think he's gonna zo gave you that
feature back. Just my prediction right there came like Abo
and her billionaire air boyfriend have But I don't know,
but you guys, but I think I would have like
went to the ends of the earth to make this
relationship work.

Speaker 7 (22:05):
Yeah, I mean you always put in a little extrafford.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, I didn't think so. But she was dating Henry
Junior cal whoop who exactly. They were together for more
than a year. His family owns a luxury fashion distribution company,
so he and Kamila met at a fashion after party
in Saudi Arabia in twenty twenty four. I think we
may have talked to them, talked about them before they
were seen at Coachella together before there were some other

(22:30):
like sightings, but ever since they got together, Kamila Caaba
was living her best life, like vacations in Ibiza. They're
going to Saint Bart's. His family is worth an estimated
one point two billion.

Speaker 7 (22:44):
It's crazy dollars.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
And now she has to say goodbye to that lifestyle,
just saying go.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
Back to just being the millionaire lifestyle. Yeah, it's like
that is a huge That is a huge jump.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
God, I don't think I could do it. Yeah, where
you're gonna find another billionaire at will?

Speaker 7 (23:05):
All right, a couple of local things I'd like to
touch on really quick. First fun local event this weekend
is the twelfth annual Pints for Pause. This is all
put on by Berkeley Humane Society. It's on Saturday, June six, again,
the twelfth Annual Pints for Pause. They're gonna have craft beers, ciders, wine, vodka,
live music, food, all sorts of stuff and lots of

(23:28):
friendly dogs and stuff and of course everything goes to
benefit our friends at the Berkeley Humane Society. So get
your tickets. They say they always sell out. Again if
this is on Saturday, do not want to miss out.
One to five PM again. You can go to Berkeley
Humane dot org for all your info. I believe you
can still get tickets if they're available at the door.

(23:48):
But go have some fun, support a great cause. All right,
Move over Santa Clara, Slapper cow, poly butt Sniffer and
the Barnes and Noble Nibbler. There's a new perp. Local
authorities need your help catching the Sunny Veil peeper. Might
need to work on the name, but that's what we
got so far. Police are asking for your help identifying him.
Last month, on May sixteenth, this guy went into the
twenty four hour Fitness on Saratoga Road. He did not

(24:09):
properly scan in. We don't know if he's a member
or not. He's snuck in.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
He just walked past the counter.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
Yep. He immediately made his way into the women's locker room.
I mean, don't we all, And he was caught filming
a female victim showering. After he was confronted, he got
out of there. I ran and got away on foot.
Suspect was seen on surveillance cameras described as a black
male having average height and build, and again Sunnyvale police

(24:34):
asking for anybody to take a look at the picture
and see if you can help identify the sunny veil peeper?

Speaker 2 (24:40):
What my hell?

Speaker 7 (24:42):
My first question is you're not allowed.

Speaker 9 (24:44):
To do that.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
No, you are not allowed to do that. Oh and
how did he know that somebody was in there? Like
like you tipped off to walk in and make a
bee line straight for the women's locker room? Like again,
this is four in the morning.

Speaker 7 (25:04):
Yes, this was a four thirty in the morning, So
that I mean again, do you yeah, do you hear
the water? You don't hear the water running? But so
is it targeted? Did he know that there's a particular
person that would be showering.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
At that time?

Speaker 2 (25:16):
But if it premeditated, I'll tell you one thing.

Speaker 7 (25:18):
I feel assaulted when I walk into the men's locker
room at my gym. It's like it has one of
those sort of wrap around there's no door, you know,
the you go down the hallway and then it wraps around,
then wraps back around to give people privacy without having
to have a door on it. And the second you
round that corner into eyesight of where all the lockers are,
holy old man junk everywhere. Sometimes they'll just be standing

(25:40):
there facing the entrance to the room.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
If I was changing at a locker, I'd have.

Speaker 7 (25:45):
My back to the entrance of the room, right, uh
uh uh. These guys operating a different thing, and.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
They just I guess you just a certain age where
you just don't care like that.

Speaker 7 (25:54):
But why wouldn't you still turn towards your locker, like
your stuff, the clothes that you're changing into are coming
out of that locker. The bench is right there behind you, Like,
why turn and face the entrance of the room because
it doesn't bother the entry.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
What sight of them is showing, right, it bothers me.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
You're like, we got the same things. Mine's just saggi
or and Harry, so a lot.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
A lot.

Speaker 6 (26:16):
If it makes you feel any better, it's the exact
same in the woman's locker room.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
I feel like that's less of assault on the eyes.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Though, agreed. Yeah, yeah, no, not always all right? Next
on the JV show, Your Chance to Want a Chuck
Mug inside What the.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Bleeve The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 12 (26:36):
Good morning, y'all, This is David from Antica. Just want
to give a congratulations to everyone who already has or
will be graduating, whether it be from university, and college,
high school, junior high, or promoting from an elementary. I
also want to give a big shout out to those
parents who were present and helped their students along the way.

(26:58):
Let's remember to always be present or them, always be
supportive and love them every step.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Of the way.

Speaker 7 (27:05):
Yes, shout out to everybody.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, that's graduating over presence.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
And parents over the students. Shout out to all the
parents that were there, because it's the parents that really
deserve all the credit, right, And I think I speak
for all the parents to say, yeah, we're happy you graduated.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Now go get a job, especially.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Sometimes doing the homework for them.

Speaker 7 (27:24):
Wowratuating seriously, but also the parts a good point.

Speaker 13 (27:30):
When so all on IG and I saw you guys
do a video. Now what did I miss? When did
this happen? I'm not complaining that like you, but yeah,
I feel like I missed that announcement or.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
There isn't like an announcement. We just started, you know,
if you follow us on Instagram, started recording a little
in studio things.

Speaker 7 (27:55):
Yeah, you can watch some of our segments, not live,
but after the show we'll post some of the segments
so you can see how we you know, interact and
studio what it looks like in here, and yeah, we
never gave an announcement abount it. They just put these
cameras in our studios like three years ago, and then
we finally decided to turn along pretty much how it
went down.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Yeah, so you can go follow Wildy for nine and
JA Morning Show if you want to go check some
of those out. All right, guys, you got to get
to what the bleep? Where you can win a JB show,
Chuck mug you just have to be the first person
a guest today's bleeped out word correctly as always, and
you think you know what that bleeped out word is,
leave your guests. I'm gonna talk back, Michael iHeart RADIOPP.
Are you guys ready for today's clip?

Speaker 1 (28:31):
For me?

Speaker 7 (28:32):
It takes just one or two hard pounds and I
can totally bust ends up taking longer to clean it
up than anything.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Seriously, you're so gross, I mess.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Yeah, I can only think one thing, but I don't
want to think about that.

Speaker 7 (28:46):
One or two pounds. I'm telling you it's a skill
if anything. All right, think about what that bleeped out
word could be. Remember this is a family show, so
whatever that bleeped out word is always something that we
can play on these airwaves. So don't even bother leaving
your funny, profanity laced guests. It is not that leave
us your name and your city along with your guests.
We want to be able to shut you out if

(29:06):
you get it correct. But the only person that gets
a JV Show chuck mug, which is the thing you
want to earn, by the way, is the person with
the very first correct answer of the morning.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
That's right, So get your guesses in quick like right now.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine, you're.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Playing what the bleep where you can win this chub mug.
But you gotta be the first person to guest today's
bleeped out word correctly as always, and you think you
know what that word is, leave your guests on the
talkback Mike on the iHeartRadio app, and then the first
person to get it right is today's winner. Obviously. Here's
today's clip in case you missed it.

Speaker 7 (29:34):
For me, it takes just one or two hard pounds
and I can totally bust ends up taking longer to
clean it up than anything.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Yeah, you're discussing, this is a Family Show. Okay, first
of all, let's go to your guesses.

Speaker 14 (29:47):
Good Morning JV Show.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
This is my lead, Frip Danville.

Speaker 9 (29:50):
I'm guessing today's word.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
It is coconut. All right, have a great day. Fight
it's a bust.

Speaker 9 (29:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (29:55):
Have you guys ever attempted to bust open a coconut.
That's a very popular guest this morning. By the way,
give her cred to bust a nut over coconut.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
I have not never lamb it on the ground.

Speaker 7 (30:06):
I remember as a kid, I can't remember where. We were,
like on a trip or something, and there was a
coconut there on the ground on the beach and my
brother and I was like, yeah, let's get the you know,
let's open it up, get the the coconut milk out
or whatever. And we sat there and hammered that thing
on a rock for about three hours and just gave up.
It was like that thing wouldn't break open. And then

(30:26):
you see those guys that like have like the machete
looking things like, and then just one it opens. Yeah,
when you're trying to hammer it on a rock. It
took forever. It didn't work.

Speaker 9 (30:35):
Good Morning JV Shows. Erica Santa Clara I.

Speaker 14 (30:38):
Think we just a log.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
That's the lock.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
I think I heard a log log, But I guess
it could be locked. Bus the log open or bust
the log into the toilet, maybe like chopping what maybe
she was like chopping umberjack on?

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yeah in Oakland?

Speaker 8 (31:00):
Is it an egg and he's making a mess all
over the place with it?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Have a good morning, y'all.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Egg rain.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
Guess it doesn't take that if it takes you two
pounds to get an egg open, like two hard pounds
to get an egg open?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Yeah, problems, But how many taps do you normally do?

Speaker 9 (31:16):
Two?

Speaker 7 (31:17):
Okay, No, maybe I'm a one. I gotta think about it.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I'm look at too.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
No, I'm one the first egg.

Speaker 7 (31:24):
You don't ever hit hard enough that one takes two cracks,
But then once you're in your rhythm, then then it's
just a one. Yeah, one hard crack right on the
edge of the ball.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
All right, great guesses so far. If you have a
different gas, because we still we still are looking for
the correct one, go ahead and leave it right now.
On the talkback mic on the.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
iHeart radio app the JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Four nine, Happy Thursday, we're playing what the bleep where
you can win a JV show, Chuck Mug, you just
got to be the first person to guess today's sleeps
out word correctly. As always, when you think you know
what it is, leave your guests on the talkback mic
on iHeart a radio app. Here is today's clip in
case you missed it.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
For me, it takes just one or two hard pounds
and I can totally bust a ends up taking longer
to clean it up than any gross. Yeah, that's a
little messy.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Remember this is a family show. Okay, so all of
your guesses do have to be clean. Let's go through
some of your talkbacks.

Speaker 8 (32:10):
Now, good morning JV show. This is an I'm Richard
from Those Happy Thursday. I think it's Thursday. Yeah. Anyways,
our guest with the beeped out word is Walnut. Walnut,
have a great Thursday.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
He got him?

Speaker 7 (32:27):
Not Walnut. Probably the most popular guest this morning.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Like people on those.

Speaker 7 (32:33):
Can I is this an unpopular opinion? Walnuts are trash.
I'm not a fan of the walnut.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
I'm a walnut fan, are you. Yeah, it's like.

Speaker 7 (32:42):
The old Lady nut in my mind.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
You say it about every nut.

Speaker 7 (32:46):
No, I love pistachios, cashews, almonds, So what's.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Wrong with an almond?

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Joy?

Speaker 7 (32:52):
Then those are gross, that's what's wrong with those? Okay,
but walnuts, that's got to be the worst of them
all so good, the worst. It's just the worst nut.
They're trash.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
He got a nut? I love all nuts from Clayton.

Speaker 9 (33:08):
I believe the word of the day is pinata.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Oh, that.

Speaker 7 (33:14):
Was the second most popular guest this morning. Pinata.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (33:20):
I couldn't tell you the last time I took a
swing at a pinata, though, so I don't. I don't
really know. I feel like I could totally smash one blindfolded, obviously.
Are you're spinning around twenty eight times?

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Uh huh? I don't believe, still got it?

Speaker 15 (33:32):
Good morning ninety four nine Christina from San Francisco. Happy Thursday.
I think the bleeped out word is watermelon. Although you
don't need that much weight to open it. But that's
the best I got. Happy for Thursday.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
I appreciate you.

Speaker 7 (33:51):
Yeah, seriously, bust the watermelon. Watermelon very popular guests this morning.
I'm more of a watermelon slicer.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Having how you.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
Guys are eating, throw it down on the ground and
then everybody put runs in there and gets a chunk.

Speaker 16 (34:05):
Hey, this is as my guess is wall, because I
knew you were doing construction on your house yourself.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Now not wal nuts.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
He got an but wall, very very good guess, But
that one's not.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
It looks like nobody got the correct word this morning.
Listen up, people, Here is today's clip, unbleeped for me.

Speaker 7 (34:28):
It takes just one or two hard pounds and I
can totally bust a cabinet ends up taking longer to
clean it up than anything. Talking about house demo, and
anytime I watch a lot of the HGTV shows and
they demo the kitchen, it's time.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
It's demo day.

Speaker 7 (34:42):
And they get in there in the kitchen and they
hand this guy, you know, the homeowner whatever's not really
proficient at remodeling room. They hand him a sledgehammer. He
can't wait to smash that kitchen apart. And then you
watch this dude hit a kitchen cabinet like thirty times,
and you're like.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Bro, it's not that hard. It's not that hard.

Speaker 7 (35:00):
There's a technique to it about which side you should
hit first, and then you knock out the bottom piece
and wear and it's boom, give me two swings.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
With a sledgehover and that catch explode.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
It is actually pretty fun, but you do watch people
attempt it and you're just like, I can't bro just
do it. It's like it should not take it should
not take this long to smash your kitchen to bits.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Dang it. It was kind of a check you one
and nobody got it this morning.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Nope, so no child.

Speaker 7 (35:24):
Mom were shout outs to give, but I appreciated all
the guesses, lots about nuts.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Thank you everyone for playing this morning. We'll do it
again tomorrow morning, same time, seven oh five, right here
on the JV Show, The.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
JV Show on Wild ninety four nine to the phones.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Wild, Hi, who's this? Good morning, Crystal? What is going on?
How's your morning going so far?

Speaker 16 (35:46):
It's going pretty good?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Good?

Speaker 8 (35:49):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Went is school out for you? Guys? Oh? This Friday
is last day tomorrow tomorrow? I was like, wow, Mom
doesn't even know. Oh everything?

Speaker 7 (36:01):
Hold on all right?

Speaker 2 (36:02):
We christal, good morning to you. You want to play?
Are you up? Nope? Game Jess? What is she playing
for this morning?

Speaker 5 (36:07):
You are playing for two tickets to check out Kailani.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
We're gonna ask you for random trivia questions. You just
got to get three correct. If you can do that,
the tickets are yours. Are you ready? Yeah? All right?
Question number one, Groundhog Day always takes place in what month?

Speaker 9 (36:28):
Ground hockey March?

Speaker 2 (36:34):
It's in February.

Speaker 7 (36:36):
Yeah, February second, I believe every year.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
All right.

Speaker 7 (36:39):
Question number two, it's okay, you can miss one, just
nail these next three.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Question number two, what was the.

Speaker 7 (36:44):
First state to have two female senators in the United
States Senate serving at the same time?

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (36:54):
What state?

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Yeah, that's correct.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
I love when they answer like a question.

Speaker 7 (37:03):
Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
I didn't know that. It's all good, right, you got
it right. Here's question number three. Gangsta's Paradise was the
biggest hit song from what nineties rapper?

Speaker 7 (37:18):
Thanks to Paradise? Oh coolioh Yeah, great song, by the way,
all right, Question number four.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
You need this one to win the game, so lock
in in a lap, all right. I read question four.

Speaker 7 (37:31):
In a leap year, how many total days are there
in that entire year?

Speaker 17 (37:40):
Three hundred and sixty four?

Speaker 7 (37:46):
No, you took in the direction three hundred and sixties. Yeah,
there's one extra day in February and a leap year.

Speaker 18 (37:59):
So.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
She would have won.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Can you hear the sadness in her voice? I didn't cheat, though, Yeah,
thank you for you.

Speaker 6 (38:10):
Probably would have won if he did cheat.

Speaker 7 (38:15):
She didn't cheat. And then that last question she's off by,
I mean virtue just.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
One number, two numbers. She didn't give it to her.

Speaker 7 (38:26):
That would be cheating.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Fine, that's a good point. I tried, Crystal. Yeah, you
did not win, but thank you for playing. We really
had fun, haven't you on? Don't hang up. I'm gonna
put you on holds there really quick. All right, Grandma, No,
we have a tone of shout outs. Let's start with
the talkbacks.

Speaker 9 (38:44):
Good Morning JV show. This is Sheila from Middletown. I
want to give a huge shout out to my son
Carter for promoting from t K to kindergarten. With that
in mind, he also received a math award and a
re award where he scored in two year one ando

(39:04):
point one, so grade one and one month. Anyways, Bammy,
Daddy and brother and Sacia are also proud of you.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
The the Mickey mice. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
Anyway, congrats to everybody that this week. You guys.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
All that a very foot who gives a far great
point Hottest.

Speaker 11 (43:16):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Before we get some major controversies surrounding the new Madden
twenty seven cover, j Loo looks different. She's been not
promoting her new Netflix movie Office Romance. Tuesday was the
New York premiere, and you can go see some photos
and video of hers on our Instagram story JV Morning Show.
When I saw these yesterday, I just I couldn't help

(43:44):
but notice that something about her looks very different.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
Really what her hair, not her hair, her makeup, well,
her eyeshadow I think is a little like more colorful
than I'm used to.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
But no, it wasn't that. My first thought was like, whoa,
why did she get those newers? Oh my god. I
even went back because knew that she had a Hollywood
premiere of Office Romance.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
I went back then, and she was covered up, like
like whatever top or dress she had on went all
the way up to her neck, so she wasn't like
showing off anything. When she was on the Today Show
this week, same thing. I went back and she was
wearing like a nice little colored uh blouse. But these ones,
they're out, and I don't remember them ever looking like this.

Speaker 7 (44:26):
I'll be honest. I wasn't listening much until you said
the word bazoomers, and then I know I saw that, and.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
I thought she's had these.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (44:35):
I don't what I'm seeing a JV Morning Show on
our Instagram story.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
These are new, right, they you know what I'm I'm
cross referencing, and.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
I already did all the research. I cross referenced as well.
And I don't remember these.

Speaker 7 (44:49):
I did a lot of cross referencing in my computers.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
Calling it now she's got some new ones.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
They're nice.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
She loves good. She does look so good.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
She just always super smashed up there.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
It looks like these are fresh if I'm being a
fresh sets, like they haven't even like fully settled in.

Speaker 7 (45:08):
Yeah, they've just been bolted on.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
That's what it looks like. If you want to go
see that, it's on an Instagram story again, Jab Morning Show,
give us a follow. The other thing you have to
go check out there is the new Madden twenty seven cover.
Because oh my god, people are mad. Oh here we go.
So the new cover dropped and it features Caleb Williams.
He's the first player in Bears history to appear on

(45:29):
a Madden cover. He's wearing his full uniform and nail
polish and that, for whatever reason, seems to be very
controversial to everybody. If you don't know, this is something
that he does regularly, regularly, or at least for really
big moments. His mom is a nail text, so he
does it to honor her. Plus it's a way for
him to express himself. He said that getting to do
this for the Madden cover was very freeing because everyone

(45:52):
was super cool about it. They wanted him to be
himself and there are a lot of people praising him
for challenging the stigma of men wearing nail polish, but
at the same time a lot of people outraged. Why
nail My main thing is like, what is this person?

Speaker 18 (46:09):
Like?

Speaker 14 (46:10):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Like, what does the fact that they're wearing something or
doing anything like I have to do with you? Like,
it does not affect your life whatsoever. Somebody can wear
a nail polish on a Madden cover and gets what
your life is still exactly the same.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
I'm just composed at this point.

Speaker 6 (46:26):
People try to find the smallest things to you know,
throw their rage at when.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
There are bigger issues.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (46:34):
So.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
From what I've gathered from a lot of comments, people
are mad because they think this is gonna influence younger
boys one so are now polish into that?

Speaker 3 (46:45):
I say, so, what?

Speaker 2 (46:47):
First off, I think if anybody wants to wear nail polish,
they're gonna want to do that, regardless of if they
see this Madden cover or not. Like, this is not
gonna give them a sudden urge to want to go
get a jail Manny, do you know what I mean?
And I mostly just this is a non issue. Like
wearing neopolish does not make you a bad person. It
doesn't mean anything other than you know, it's It's the
equivalent of wearing a shirt you like or some jewelry.

(47:10):
Like if you want to be mad about something, then
that's influencing kids be mad about violence and video games
or little Bloosy the Rapper is one of the main
people who's speaking out about this. But hello, have you
listened to your own music? What about what that might
be influencing children to do?

Speaker 7 (47:25):
Plenty of stuff in there. I'm sure for people to
be outraged about. I You know what, if you are
outraged by this, you know what I would do? Stop
watching the NFL. Really stick it to them there that well,
that way they lose the three viewers and then the
rest of us will still be watching the NFL. Remember
when everyone's like Colin Kaeprint, we're turning it off. We're
never gonna watch as NFL ratings just have contained to

(47:45):
skyrocket over the last ten years. They're making more money
now than ever.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Go for your parents who maybe don't want their sons
doing that. And I mean, that's your parenting choice, but
like then don't buy it for them, like that's it's
just an easy fix. I don't understand the outrage or
being this upset, Like he is an adult in can
express himself whatever you want. It's not hurting anybody.

Speaker 7 (48:07):
I gotta say, I'm absolutely loving this Madden cover for
a slight well, I love it for that, but for
a slightly different reason. I have a lot of close
friends that are big time Chicago Bears fans, and we
all know about the Madden curse. Anybody that makes the
cover of their curse. And Caleb Williams, I mean, showed
just glimpses last year of absolute brilliance and staging these

(48:28):
incredible comebacks. And I would love to see the Bears
fall flat on their face this year.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
So Madden Curse is on.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
I'm here for it, all right, Graham, what do you have?

Speaker 7 (48:38):
All right? Sticking with NFL football, and arrest warrant has
been issued for forty nine Ers wide receiver Brandon Ayuk,
and it's for totally robbing the Niners organization blind by
holding out demanding a big money contract, becoming one of
the highest paid wide receivers and he totally wasn't worth it,
and then being a big baby about it and not
showing up to any Niners things. Oh, that's not what

(49:00):
it's for. Nevermind, I think most Niner fans would agree
that's what it should be for. Should face some charges
for that. The arrest weren't issued by Santa Clara County,
actually issued yesterday for a misdemeanor speeding violation that he
allegedly committed at the end of last year. If you remember,
I think we talked about it. In December, I posted
a video of himself driving past Levi Stadium going one

(49:20):
hundred and four miles an hour. Oh I don't remember
that more than double the speed limit, about two and
a half times the speed limit there. So according to
the charges of that video, it made its way to
the Santa Clara Police Department's desk. And when you post
evidence of yourself committing a crime, pretty hard to deny it,
so they'd like to you post that. Have some I
think that was his way of driving by and flipping

(49:43):
the bird to the Niners organization, which still doesn't make
any sense because they made you one of the highest
paid wide receivers after you held out like a big baby,
and now you haven't done anything to back that contract up.
He is still technically a forty nine er. Somehow he
will eventually if he is not traded away prior to
the start of the season. I guess he'll eventually get cut,

(50:05):
I you responded, well, it seemed. He responded to the
story of this arreci being issued by posting a montage
of him driving really fast on a racetrack and he said, mad,
I took off, got some I won't say that word
got some in they feelings. So he's just saying that
we're salty here because he took off and bailed on

(50:27):
us and watched me drive really fast in my car
around a racetrack. I don't know what's going on with that, dude,
but it's like, do you want to play football because
they gave you a ton of money to do it
and there are so many people that trade places with
you in a heartbeat, and bro, you're good, but you're
not that good.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
People start getting a little cocky.

Speaker 8 (50:46):
You know.

Speaker 7 (50:46):
I just don't get it. You signed that big money deal,
you got what you wanted, you got the money, and
then you played six games. It got hurt and then
he's never attempted to make a comeback. What are you doing?
Go drive on, Bro, become a driver.

Speaker 1 (50:59):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 19 (51:01):
Good Morning JV Show. I just want to give a
shout out to Graham. I used to be so impressed
thinking that you knew every mascot to every high school.
But I think I like it even better knowing that
you're just making him a good stuff.

Speaker 7 (51:16):
I don't know what you're talking about. Know what you're
talking about? Those are all one hundred percent accurate. Yeah,
if you tuned in a little bit ago, A lot
of graduation shout outs, and people always want to shout
out the school that they're graduating from. People have started
to include the actual mascot of the school. I think
to help me out just a little bit, but yeah, no,
I have an extensive catalog knowledge of every cool mascot

(51:38):
of every elementary, middle and high school in the big area.
It's one of those party tricks, you know what I
can do.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
We were in Trending just talking about the new Madden
twenty seven cover. A lot of people really upset because
Bears player Caleb Williams. He's on the cover and he
is rocking needs some nail polish, which she actually does
regularly to honor his mom, who is a nail tech.

Speaker 20 (52:00):
Guys, good morning. I just want to, you know, share
my thoughts around Kayleb Williams uh and the nail polish.
I think, you know, as a man, if you're comfortable
with your masculinity, this shouldn't affect you. And so you know,
absolute Caleb Williams is an amazing player, and I think
he deserves being on the cover for real as a

(52:22):
nin Er fan, right, yep, yep.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
It's like, what does what he's doing have to do
with you? Like, I don't understand people mad, anyone else
who lives life a little differently than you.

Speaker 3 (52:32):
Saw Why it's not your life?

Speaker 1 (52:34):
Right, I don't get it.

Speaker 6 (52:36):
How about worry about those out there that are actually
harming children, that are actually doing all these crimes, Like,
worry about those people and getting them, you know, in jail.

Speaker 3 (52:47):
Or something, versus this a Madden cover.

Speaker 7 (52:49):
This is one of these culture war things where we
have all these actual real problems, but it's hey, look
over there, there's a trans person or there's a somebody
wearing nail polish or there's a like stuff that doesn't
impact your life.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
Good morning jav Show.

Speaker 21 (53:03):
Janie from Concord Hair just want to touch base on
the matting cover. So men in particular can get piercings
on both ears, but they can't wear nail polish on
a cover.

Speaker 2 (53:19):
Let's think about that people.

Speaker 21 (53:21):
Just I thought, you know, earrings hmmm versus nail polish. Okay,
we got better things to think about here, My goodness.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
That's another thing I wanted to point out. I mentioned
how rapper Lil Boosie is one of the ones who's
speaking out. I mean, that man is very opinionated and
he will post it and everyone you know what I mean.
But I did watch his response to seeing the cover
and yeah, he's got two earrings in And someone did
leave a comment where I was like, oh, that's a
good point. He was saying. You know, back in the
nineties people said the same thing everything you're saying about

(53:52):
the nail polish. People said about men wanting to wear
two earrings and now look at you two earrings.

Speaker 7 (53:57):
Very true.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
It's it's just a south choice.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Yeah, that's all it is.

Speaker 7 (54:03):
It is baffling.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
Yeah, come on, people, we got more important.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
Stuff right really quick? Dang it? Do we have time
for this?

Speaker 7 (54:10):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Yeah. Let me ask you first, Graham around your house.
You know it's you and your wife and y'all got
two kids. Is it mainly you or your wife that
does like the little things around the house. Maybe the
things that you don't notice, like refilling the toilet paper,
making sure the toothpaste that you know it's constantly refilled.
You never like you don't run out of things.

Speaker 7 (54:29):
I would say it's an even split in my household.
I I refilled the paper towel thing yesterday, ground paper
towels down to the end. I put a new paper
towel roll, and then the spencer thing. And yesterday my
wife took out our bathroom trash garbage which had been
overflowing for a couple of days. So, like, you know
what I mean, it's a it's it even split.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
Okay, So is it just more like whoever notices it first?

Speaker 7 (54:53):
Yeah, But there's some of those things that you notice
and you're like, I'm going to get to that later,
hoping that the other person will do it. Like our
overflowing bathroom garbage. I don't get where all that garbage
comes from that little tiny trash can next to the toilet.
It's not from me. I had one cute tip of
day to there. It would take me months to fill
that thing up. Yet that thing's spilling over.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
By the time garbage day tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
So I saw this post from a wife slash mom
who has purposely left three empty toilet paper rolls in
her bathroom like on the counter, to see if anybody
else would actually just pick them up and throw them away.
That's all you gotta do. And she was like days
have gone by at this point, and everyone is just

(55:36):
going into the bathroom and coming back out, walking right
on by these empty toilet paper rolls, like she was
hoping someone else would take initiative like her husband and
just like take care of it without her having to
ask or tell them to, because she's the one that
does all the things, like the little things that people
don't even really notice. She does it all around the house.
And when I saw this, I was like, oh my god,
there's something similar going on in my house right now,

(55:58):
and I'm willing to no one else has even noticed yet.
And when I tell you how long this thing has
been there, you guys, I don't even know if you
guys are gonna believe me, it is it? What is it?

Speaker 3 (56:10):
Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (56:12):
There there has been a cup. Not it wasn't my cup.
It's either one of the kids or my husband's. And
there has been a cup on top of our fireplace
in the living room. I first noticed it after Christmas.
I will not pick it up and put it away

(56:33):
a gains because somebody put it there, and whoever it was,
I want them or literally anybody else to be like, oh,
here's a dish that needs to go on the sink.
I want somebody else for once to just put it away.
And I see it every day and I'm still waiting
June fourth seed start.

Speaker 7 (56:51):
Yes, we need to give it its own Instagram account.
JV show cup watch twenty six five into twenty twenty six.

Speaker 18 (56:59):
This.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Yeah, you cannot.

Speaker 7 (57:01):
Out of principle, And now that it's gone this long,
you've got to wait. What if let me just ask us,
is it possible? Not that it makes it okay, because
somebody still should have picked it up. What could have
been from like a guest in your house and they
just like sit down their drink or whatever, and so
it wasn't somebody in the house responsible for Sunday Cup.
Not that that clears anybody of any wrongdoing, because somebody
should by now walked by him and like, oh, let

(57:21):
me put this in there.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
I mean, I guess possible, but just thinking back to
like that time of December, we didn't really have money yet.

Speaker 7 (57:29):
Okay, you know when I.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
First noticed it, I have a feeling it was my
husband because we had to standoff at the last our
last house too over.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
Okay, this wasn't.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
This is in the bedroom. He had brought a bowl
of spaghetti, and I was so mad. I was like,
that's disgusting, go put it away, like and like, well,
I didn't say anything for a while. I knew it
was his bull and this is in our bedroom, and
I was like I was like waiting to see how
long it was going to take him to like put
it away.

Speaker 1 (57:59):
Yeah, I don't even.

Speaker 2 (58:01):
Remember it was at least did it get moldy? I don't.
I think it just got dried, it just got dry. Okay, yeah,
I want to say it was at least a couple
of months. Oh then I have like confronted him and
he was like, well, I wanted to see how long
it does gonna take you to put it away, but
I'm like, no, it's yours. Yeah to the great cup?
Stand up?

Speaker 3 (58:20):
Oh man, what if he's waiting for you?

Speaker 2 (58:23):
He might very he might be, or honestly, he might
not even know it's there. I don't know, and I
wanted to bring a picture to post it, but I
don't want this to like, I don't want him to
know that I know and he would see it, right.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
I'm trying to know.

Speaker 7 (58:37):
I wish you could get inside the minds of everybody
in your house and know have they noticed the cup
and thought for themselves? Man, that cuff has been out
there well? Or are they totally oblivious or is it
some combination?

Speaker 15 (58:47):
Right?

Speaker 6 (58:47):
We need like a confessional from everywhere, but we cannot.

Speaker 2 (58:51):
Bring it up to them.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
Need to hook him up to a light detector.

Speaker 6 (58:54):
You need to do what some moms do for their kids.
They'll drop something on the ground, but put money underneath
it so that when whoever actually goes and picks it up,
they get the money.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
I'm not giving them money to pick up their own stuff, Like,
just pick up your.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
It.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
It's gonna stay.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
There the whole year.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
I think it is.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
You might have to get the prediction journal.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
I am not caving.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
Stay strong, I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (59:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (59:19):
I hope your husband's not listening right now, please not.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
I checked the JV show on Wild ninety four Morning
Wild ninety nine.

Speaker 22 (59:27):
Just wanted to give a huge shout out to my
oldest son, Kessler Sean for his promotion for sixth grade,
and for our youngest son, Christopher John, whose birthday is
today and he turns eight.

Speaker 8 (59:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (59:39):
Have a great day, guys.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
Bite nice to celebrate.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
Right there, we were just talking about this cup stand
off going on in my home.

Speaker 14 (59:49):
There.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
There's there's a cup on top of the fireplace in
my living room that has been there at least well,
I first noticed it in like like a couple of
days after Christmas, so like, who knows how long has
really been there, But it's been some months, okay, And
I have a feeling it's my husband's, so I like
refuse to pick it up and put it away because
I want him to do it, but like nobody's doing it.

(01:00:11):
I want to see how long it's gonna take someone
to pick up that dang cup and put it away.
I'm tired of doing everything.

Speaker 18 (01:00:16):
Selena, You are not alone in this cup war leaving
stuff there. One of my favorite Everybody Loves Raymond episodes
is when the two main characters leave a suitcase full
of clothes after vacation on their steps, and neither of
them wants to pick it up and empty it out

(01:00:36):
because of principle that like I always do all the things,
you never do all the things, but you should do
all the things. And so it's hilarious.

Speaker 7 (01:00:45):
It's a thing Everybody Loves Raymond reference there. That's a
interesting Uh yeah, I'm like, I'm with you. I want
you to stand in solid you know, I'll stay with
you in solidarity. Selena, do not do not touch that cup.

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
Leave it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
It's not a big deal. Like I could easily just
I mean, take two seconds. I can do it. But
I just I want to see how long everyone else
would leave it there?

Speaker 7 (01:01:09):
For one for me, where are you guys with a
suitcase leaving? Like she mentioned in the Everybody Loves Raymond episode?
Because I would, I would operate out of a suitcase
back from a vacation for maybe two to three months.
I would. I just I hate I hate unpacking a trip.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Yeah, it takes me a few weeks to take everything
out My.

Speaker 7 (01:01:27):
Wife's the opposite. This second we walk in the door,
she takes that whole bag and dumps it into the laundry,
you know, and like immediately wants the thing emptied. I would,
I would leave it sitting there for that, because.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
You're tired, you just got back off a plane, and ever, like,
I don't want to do that. That's the last thing
I want to do.

Speaker 7 (01:01:42):
My wife's a psychopath today.

Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
Yeah, that's Rubin too. He does the exacting thing.

Speaker 6 (01:01:46):
Okay, do we want to do the predictions on how
long this cup stand off will last?

Speaker 7 (01:01:51):
Yes? Okay, Graham, I'm gonna go till September twenty eighth, twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
I feel like I feel like I I shouldn't make
a prediction because, okay, because if if we're having like
a get together at some point, I don't know, I know,
I'll probably if it's like a kid's birthday party, is like,
I don't know, if.

Speaker 7 (01:02:11):
It was put some balloons next to it, hide it
that thing. It has to stay there.

Speaker 5 (01:02:17):
I'm gonna say, end of August this year.

Speaker 7 (01:02:20):
Okay, that's gonna be here before you know it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Yeah, I know it's gonna go long.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Strong, where's my jewelry.

Speaker 6 (01:02:33):
Can we talk Can we talk about the World Cup,
you guys, because it is almost here and the Cup
talk of the show.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
Continues.

Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
Well, the ladies are ready, and by that I mean
they're already getting back on the apps or downloading the apps,
and by apps, I mean dating apps. Of course, they're
getting ready to swipe because they know that there's gonna
be a lot of international men in the area.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
A lot of you know, possible soccer players.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
In the area. Do you really think like one of
these or professional soccer players is going to be like
on Tinder?

Speaker 5 (01:03:11):
Yeah, you never know, you think so, yes, because they
know they can get wipe ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
Yep, girl, they want.

Speaker 7 (01:03:16):
Yeah, they're lining up their side pieces before they get here.
They are their wives are staying home.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Wow, someone's gonna watch the kids.

Speaker 6 (01:03:24):
A lot of them are also you know, the the
app riot.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
I think that's the way I thought they would be.

Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
They would be more on a lot of that's so
much more exclusive.

Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
A lot of them are because obviously a lot of
celebrities are going to be in town as well, like
you know, watching some of the games, going to the games.
So a lot of them have mentioned Hey, like my
app is ready to go. I'm extending, you know, my
search for these men while they're here.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Do you guys think this is a better way to
go about it?

Speaker 6 (01:03:53):
Or is it just better to go to all of
these World Cup events?

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
There's gonna be a lot of them happening in there.

Speaker 7 (01:03:58):
Are you talking about for women that are looking to
meet their hot soccer player? Dude?

Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
Uh? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Nobody talks in person? Really?

Speaker 20 (01:04:05):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
I really.

Speaker 7 (01:04:06):
You got to meet people where they're at, meet them there.

Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Let's you get I don't know, for whatever reason, I know,
I know people always talk about wanting to talk to somebody,
to meet somebody in person, and yeah, face to face
is always the better way. But you just have so
much more confidence in yourself, like when it's on an app,
like people who I wouldn't normally go up to in person,
like it's you can message them.

Speaker 7 (01:04:28):
Yeah you know what I mean, less intimidating.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Yeah, true, And I guess.

Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
There is some comfort in knowing that if you matched
for a reason that means they find you attractive already,
you don't have to wonder whether they do or.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
Don't write, and if they don't and they swipe on
right by you, like they'll never have known that you
swiped right.

Speaker 7 (01:04:44):
So this is a great idea for guys listening right now.
Just change your profile picture to some soccer team picture.
Oh my god, yeah in town for the world in
tail for the World Cup, you know, from Italy or something,
and you're just here for a short time and then
you just sligh.

Speaker 2 (01:05:03):
I actually I love this for all for all the
you know, ladies here in the bay though, because like,
what's the number one complaint? They're like, oh, all the
guys here are trash, they're all the same. Well, now
we're getting like a whole new you know, yeah batch
of men.

Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
You know, like spoiler alert. They probably won't be any.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Better, but at least you'll have some fun, you know
while the World Cup is abby.

Speaker 7 (01:05:24):
Yeah, little fling, maybe get to see a soccer match
in the process.

Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Yeah, maybe get them free tickets.

Speaker 6 (01:05:31):
Someone commented that there should be a FIFA dating app
to you know, facilitate things, and they're shuit but I
guess FIFA has dropped the ball on that line.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Whenever are we going to continue this meeting in the
Ladi's room.

Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
Coming up next The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 14 (01:05:47):
Hey, guys, good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
It's Kate.

Speaker 14 (01:05:49):
I just went away in quick because I can definitely
corroborate Graham's storyline that I immediately take our suitcase, empty it out,
do the laundry, put everything away.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
It's just my.

Speaker 14 (01:06:03):
Personality and I've come over the years and my many
years on this planet to realize not everybody's like me,
and that's okay. So I take it on and do
it myself because it makes me happy.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
I need a wife like Kate.

Speaker 7 (01:06:17):
It makes her happy. It makes her happy, you guys,
I admitted. Look, I would live out of that suitcase
post vacation for months. It would probably sit there on
the bedroom floor, just because I hate taking stuff out
and sorting through it and go. I don't know why.
It's like, you can leave that thing zipped and just
send doesn't bother.

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
Me having a suitcase right there that it's fine, stuff
over it.

Speaker 7 (01:06:40):
If that thing made it past twenty four hours in
my house, my wife would probably panic. So I appreciate
her though.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
All right, back to our meeting in the ladies room,
Can we talk about shoes really quick? Sure, there's a
couple of designer shoes that have gone viral, and there
are people that like them wear them. I personally don't
understand this. Go to JB Morning Show on Instagram. Check
out our story. The first one we're going to talk
about are these viral pigs hoof Is shoes. These are

(01:07:12):
awesome Valentino. These cost over one thousand dollars and they
are so ugly. But Tyler has more these Haley Bieber
like them. I don't get it. No, it actually looks
like a pig's foot or.

Speaker 7 (01:07:26):
A kale toe. It looks more like a toe to me.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
I hate them.

Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
I do.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
I'm actually disgusted by these.

Speaker 7 (01:07:35):
They are Okay, So if you can, if you are
not in a situation where you could look at our
Instagram story. They have picture like a high heel. Is
a high heel, a heel like a black pump. Yeah,
And then there's a cutout in the middle, and so
which two toes?

Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
Is it showing the big toe and the one next?

Speaker 7 (01:07:53):
Okay, so it's showing mainly the big toe, yeah, and
the toe next to it kind of smushed together and
you're seeing the space between those two. Yeah, that part
is exposed, and it does look a minute least.

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
It's so weird. It's like disturbing it is. It's like
an optical illusion almost, and I'm like, there's something that
attracts your eye to it for sure. Like what we
actually had this posted on our Instagram story yesterdays. I
thought we were going to talk about it. Then we
had a pole and then ninety eight percent of people
said those shoes are not but they're designer.

Speaker 1 (01:08:25):
You guys, I don't. Okay wants to outfit you and.

Speaker 7 (01:08:28):
Some some of their new shoes, and you're not going
to wear these.

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
I wouldn't even wear these if they give them to
me for free.

Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
That's how ugly I'm with Jaz.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
They are ridiculously There's another pair that you can see
right there IJV Morning Show as well.

Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
Swipe to the next slie.

Speaker 6 (01:08:43):
These are Christian Lubatons and these are their snail shoes.

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
What the hell?

Speaker 6 (01:08:48):
So it looks like they have it's like a pair
of black heels with the iconic red soul, but then
they have two pieces of what looks like lettuce, one
by where your toes would go and the other one
by your heel, and then it has like a gold
snail on top.

Speaker 7 (01:09:05):
Sliding across the strap.

Speaker 6 (01:09:06):
Yeah, so these are also retailing for like thousands, right,
which of the two that we just mentioned would you prefer?

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
I'll take the snail tel over the camel tail.

Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
I think I'll wear the camel toe.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
You want everyone to see your hoof.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
I'm not wearing lettuce shoes.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
They look better than the other one.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
I'm not wearing lettuce shoes.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Least, it's not at least the snail ones.

Speaker 7 (01:09:28):
From a far, it would look like it's like a
green bow or something. You know, it look like some
green ribbon or something, rather than lettuce and a snail.

Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
You got up close and you'd be like butterleaf lettuce.
It does. It looks like very realistic.

Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
Yeah, I'm not wearing that.

Speaker 3 (01:09:41):
At least it looks like fresh lettuce.

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
You're gonna walk around with your hoof out the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
I guess why not? Haley Bieber? Did I mean if
I had to pick moose, knuckle or snail? True one, Yeah,
I'm going knuckle.

Speaker 7 (01:09:52):
You're going snuckle, Jess, You're going snail?

Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
Yeah, snail?

Speaker 7 (01:09:55):
Yeah, I would go snail.

Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
Sticking to the shoes theme here and you survey, more
than half of Americans admitted they regularly purchase shoes that
they later regret because of how uncomfortable they are. Just
how often does this happen to you?

Speaker 7 (01:10:10):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
Very often? But I'll wear them even if they're It's
like every time I wear heels.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
Every time I buy a Perry heels, that's my regret.
I wear them one time and like my feet hurt,
I want to cut them off. I'm never wearing these again.
And that is every single time. That's part of the experience.

Speaker 7 (01:10:25):
No, I know, but just like heels in general are
just uncomfortable. But I've had it before where I've bought
just like sneakers or whatever, and they're just not quite
big enough. I don't they've noticed, and I was like, yeah,
they'll stretch out. I'll wear them up till they stretch
out and you're just miserable, and then they don't ever,
they don't ever get more comfortable.

Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Yes, in my experience, it's always been designer shoes. I
don't have many. I don't buy myself designer stuff, but
my husband will, you know, on special occasions or whatever,
and for whatever reason, doesn't matter the brand. If it's
designer and it's shoes, it's gonna kill your feet. Like
I don't understand the high price tag when they are
the most uncomfortable things you will ever wear.

Speaker 7 (01:11:00):
Is it because they need well, this is a dumb question,
but I don't know. Do heels like get broken in
and you don't break them in because you don't wear
them as much because they're like your expensive one?

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
But I mean even like even sneakers too.

Speaker 6 (01:11:12):
Oh gotcha, Yeah, that could be part of it. But
I think some of some of them, it's just the
way that they're made, Like.

Speaker 5 (01:11:17):
The arc is so high, you're like Barbie foot.

Speaker 7 (01:11:21):
Yeah, it's maybe you're just not worthy of their high
end design.

Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Maybe that's what it is. I think that's I honestly
think that's what they didn't make this with your foot
in mind. People on average wasted two hundred and seventy
nine dollars in the last few years on painful shoes
they never wear. I feel like you spend more just I.

Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
Do well, but I get good deals. Okay, so maybe
I spend deals.

Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
Rights I spend around that amount, But it does kind
of hurt my heart a little to just see the
heels looking so beautiful on the shelf that I have
and they don't.

Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
Get a warm Yeah, I know, a side or. In
light of all this, people say that they evolved become
more practical. When it comes to shoes. They prioritize comfort
by the age thirty four on average.

Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
I have a couple more years and you'll stop.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
Caring how you look.

Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
You get some orthopedic, get some of those sketchers slip ins.

Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
I don't want to come.

Speaker 7 (01:12:15):
Yeah, yeah, I hurt my back, yeah, oh my back.
I uh don't spend a lot of money on shoes.
I buy a pair, like I don't know, one every
like two years. I've never understood the shoe phenomenon. There's
so many people and people listening right now that are
like the sneaker heads, and they buy all these pairs.
I've never understood buying and then not wearing them.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
That's me.

Speaker 8 (01:12:36):
I have.

Speaker 7 (01:12:36):
I have to wear them.

Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
I have shoes that I've worn once. And I'm not
even talking about heels. I'm talking about just shortens and
things that like I'm like, oh, these are so cute.
I have to get them. I wear them one time, then.

Speaker 7 (01:12:47):
That's it, and you can't have them like on display
likes my collection.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
No, No, they're just like in my clothes, don't wear no see, but.

Speaker 6 (01:12:54):
You can't let them sit for years because then they'll
dry raw and then the next time you wear them,
they'll fall apart.

Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
This happens. That has never happened to me.

Speaker 7 (01:13:01):
Shoe dry rot is the thing I should be worried
about it.

Speaker 6 (01:13:03):
Yeah, well that's if you because the sneaker heads, you
know how they'll buy them sometimes just to like as
a collector. Yeah thing, Well, the time when they actually
want to wear them, if they've just been sitting there
for years, they it's something called dry rot, So then
they'll kind of like the soul will just fall apart.

Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
Once they're wearing.

Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
Now, wait, how long does that take? I've never heard
of that, and that's never happened to me.

Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Yeah, forty years.

Speaker 7 (01:13:25):
Those sneakerheads don't ever, what I learned, they don't ever
wear them. They got a closet with sixty and they
just have them. Let's see, how long do they take
a pair of shoes to dry rock doesn't have that
little packet in there.

Speaker 6 (01:13:40):
Usually three to ten years, so you do need a
lot of years for them to just sitting.

Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
I definitely have shoes that I've just been sitting there
for more than three years.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Let's go see if they Yeah, now I.

Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Want to go check.

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
It might be dried out. It's cracking, all right, let's uh,
let's wrap that up, people of Today's Hot is Trending
is coming up next the V Show on Wild ninety
four nine.

Speaker 17 (01:14:02):
I love those shoes. If you take away the picture
of the cow or pigfoot, whatever it is, if you
just look at them without that, they look very sleek,
very classy. I think just throwing that picture in there
ruined it for y'all.

Speaker 7 (01:14:21):
Have a good day.

Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
How about that?

Speaker 7 (01:14:23):
If you didn't see the I think these are the
pig hoof Is that what we're calling them? Yeah, pighoof heels.
If you didn't see that actual pig hoof there next
to the picture, again, look at our Instagram story JV
Morning Show. Maybe that influenced your decision, is what she's saying.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
I mean no, because you just look at the picture
next to that of the woman wearing it, and that's
what I can't n see. I thought if I saw
these out being worn on anybody, that is what I
would see.

Speaker 6 (01:14:51):
It might help if her toenails were painted, because then
it would distract from it looking so hoofyffy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
Yeah, I'm glad doesn't have Harry Toad. I'm go checking
out JV Morning Show on our Instagram story. Honest, it's
all the stuff, a whole.

Speaker 11 (01:15:15):
Movies, shows and the most talked about stories happening today.

Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Cassie has fleed the country. I repeat, Cassie has fleed
the country. So apparently, apparently at some point, after being
paid out all those millions from Diddy, she and her
family decided to move out of the United States, which
I know just pains are very unjust because she loves
this country so much. But the only reason we found
out Cassie left is because she filed a declaration in

(01:15:41):
connection with a lawsuit that was filed by one of
the male escorts. Escorts sorry that she and Diddy hired
for a freak off, and you know they're going back
and forth. But in this declaration that Cassie just filed
earlier last month, she said, quote, I reside outside of
the United States. I do not intend to move back
to the United States. I am still a citizen, not

(01:16:02):
a resident of California, which is where the lawsuit was
initially filed. I don't know where she's living now. But
I don't blame her after everything she's been through, and
you know, just even having those ties to Diddy. I
would want to get as far away as possible from
all of that.

Speaker 7 (01:16:19):
Take me to a far away land where nobody knows
who I am.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
Start her kids, like you don't want your kids having
to go to school and everybody knows Cassie's your mom
and this and that, like yeah, yeah, start and start
over a summer now. Yes, A couple of Euphoria moms
have broken their silence on this final season of the show,
and specifically the finale where I'm not going to spoil

(01:16:44):
anything if anyone hasn't watched it, but where one character
you know dies in the final episode. I didn't say
who I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
I'm not going to say who.

Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
Well one of the main here we go spoiler alert.
The day his mom posted something I don't know if
I haven't even watched it, I don't know. I didn't
say that, but here's the day. As mom said, she said,

(01:17:19):
I'm gonna keep my thoughts to myself. Definitely made me
sad and other emotions as well, but just gonna leave
it right there. I don't know it kind of sounds
like she wasn't too happy with it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
I mean, imagine seeing a show and your daughter. Wow,
So you're saying.

Speaker 6 (01:17:33):
It was what I didn't say.

Speaker 2 (01:17:38):
I didn't spoil.

Speaker 7 (01:17:39):
God, you guys have spoiled the entire thing, But you'd
like to spoil in that episode?

Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
Oh no, Well, okay, I'll throw on one more thing
just because Angus Cloud's mom, Lisa Cloud, also said some
things she watched. She watched the entire third season, you know,
from start to finish, and she said the massive public
emotional outpouring and social media honoring my beloved son's beautiful

(01:18:06):
soul says everything. So she really really liked his you know,
his final appearance in the show. During that very last episode,
which again I have not seen, which.

Speaker 7 (01:18:15):
If couple days, which spoiled the entire thing.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
I heard, it was really sweet.

Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
It is memory.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
She's doing it again.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
It's like a little dreamlike sequence from what do you
think Sidney Sweeney's parents watched this third season? I hope not.

Speaker 7 (01:18:35):
That would be weird to be as a dad of
a daughter. I just there would be weird. Oh my god,
have your daughter on screen doing that?

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
Would you so you wouldn't watch you wouldn't support her.

Speaker 7 (01:18:45):
I would support her and have somebody fast forward to
what if.

Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
She was like, Dad, we need one more viewer. Just
this many minutes watched and I'm counting on you. Please
just watch the show. Would you do it?

Speaker 7 (01:18:58):
I couldn't watch some of those scenes now, not knowing
what they were.

Speaker 3 (01:19:01):
All right, grammed you have?

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:19:02):
A preliminary two point seven magnitude earthquake shook the Fremont
area this morning around seven seventeen. It's now time for
our favorite segment here on the JV Show, where we
ask our very own Selena, who's immune to feeling earthquakes.

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
Did Selena feel it? Yeah, you guys didn't know.

Speaker 7 (01:19:19):
You're messing. Of course they didn't feel anythings. You never
know feel any earthquakes. If you felt that one though,
that's what it was, all right. Yet another person getting
busted for trying to manipulate one of these prediction market sites.
We've talked about Polymarket and some of these other ones
where you can basically wager on anything from the weather

(01:19:39):
to politics, and people are getting busted because they have
insider knowledge on an event or whatever it may be,
and or they're trying to manipulate things. We talked about
the one where it guy's using a hair dryer to
heat up the thermometer at a Paris airport so he
could bet on the weather being over a certain temperature
and winning money. This one shouldn't surprise us because of
who did it. Former New York Representative George Santos. I

(01:20:03):
don't know if you guys remember him. He served in
Congress I think for less than a year and then
got sentenced to seven years in prison for pleading guilty
to wire fraud identity that all sorts of thing. Guy
lied about absolutely everything, and all his lies came unraveling
at one point. His sentence, of course commuted by our
president because he doesn't care if you've done anything wrong

(01:20:24):
as long as you support.

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Him, all right.

Speaker 7 (01:20:26):
He George Santo's being investigated for insider trading after he
allegedly bet on himself on the prediction market site calshi.
He bet that he would not be in attendance at
the State of the Union address back in February. That
was something you could bet on, Who's going to be
in attendance at the State of the Union. Now he
went online, he went on acts and posted I'll be there.

(01:20:47):
I'm going to be in the gallery, excited to be there.

Speaker 3 (01:20:50):
Oh my.

Speaker 7 (01:20:50):
But then he went on, Now that was to influence
the influence the action there, and then he would and
then so he posted that online and then didn't show up,
and he placed it bet on himself, oh, not being there,
because of course he knew he wouldn't be there. He's
betting on himself. Well, they've opened an investigation into him.
I'm hoping that he is found guilty of yet another

(01:21:11):
charge and this dude can go back to prison because
he lies about everything. Again, we are not surprised by
pretty much anything in this story. Not surprised that it's
him doing this because he's a liar. And I'm also
not surprised that people are trying to manipulate these.

Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
Prediction market even I'm not even mad at that. But
like it has to been oither wey. Don't you know
someone who knows someone that could like do the bet
and then like there's no ties to you there are
that's how like did you why didn't you even try?
You just did it yourself.

Speaker 7 (01:21:38):
Yeah, I mean that's the way that you have to
This guy's an idiot. But if you were going to
try to do it. Yeah, you need to have somebody
else place the bet for you. Although I think a
flag is raised when suddenly a sizeable bet and it's
the only one that comes in on you know, whether
or not George Santos is going to be at the
State of the Union. Like, they perk up a little
bit when like an outliar bet comes. And there were

(01:22:01):
guys in the NBA and that that scandal broke at
the end of last year early this year where NBA
players were having people they know place bets on them,
you know, for less, you know, and under on a
rebound total or something, because they were like, well, I'm
just not going to try to grab any rebounds tonight,
so go for the take the under on that. And

(01:22:23):
they ended up still getting busted because those bets were
flagged even though they were replaced by somebody else, you know,
when they're looking at it, when they're analyzing it on
the back end of these sights like whoa, whoa, whoa.
Somebody's randomly betting on this guy's rebound total.

Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
That's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
So all right, fine, don't do that. Then again, don't
do it, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine Good Morning
v Show.

Speaker 18 (01:22:45):

about her coworker calling and left us to talk back
about retiring, like I'm not going to listen to you
guys anymore because I'm retiring.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
That doesn't those two things don't have to be right.

Speaker 7 (01:23:25):
They both don't have to be in play.

Speaker 14 (01:23:26):
Here.

Speaker 7 (01:23:26):

I get it, But you can podcast her show like
any time.

Speaker 3 (01:23:42):

Speaker 2 (01:23:43):

Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
Two times.

Speaker 3 (01:24:39):
Are we boring you?

Speaker 2 (01:24:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:24:40):
You get.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
Boring you? Wow? All right, Well, good luck to everyone
trying to win that.

Speaker 9 (01:24:48):
Hey JV show.

Speaker 16 (01:24:49):
I just wanted to jump on the top backs and
shout out a local woman owned small business bear b
a R by Alex. She does ombra power, her browse,
full body waxing, tinting and laminating. Her studio is super
cute in the heart of Alameda, So I just wanted
to give her a quick shadow. You can find her

(01:25:10):
on Instagram b A r E by Alex and Selena
give her a call.

Speaker 7 (01:25:16):
Is that because she does full body waxing and she
thinks you need it?

Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
That's what I heard.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Did you guys hear that she has brows and she
knows mine are messed up?

Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
So I heard something about that full body that.

Speaker 5 (01:25:26):
Also, are you Alex? But I think she said our friend.

Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
No, I know, but like we all know, like hey,
promoting my friend's business.

Speaker 7 (01:25:34):
I just looked at the information that comes through with
her talk back and it is not OK.

Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
It's not her.

Speaker 7 (01:25:38):
So support a female own local business. Yeah, bear by
Alex and full body waxing and Selena, I'll book you
it important. Well, she said you needed one right there.
That's what I heard.

Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
She heard that she no, she wants to fix my brows.
I think that's when I heard that part. The other
thing we were talking about are you Graham? You brought
this up one of those poly market Is that the
name of it?

Speaker 7 (01:25:59):
Yeah, when it was pretty market market sites. I think
the one that this person tried to cheat on was
Calshi and George Santa's former Congress representative. He bet on
himself not to be at the State of the Union
address because he knew he wasn't going to be there,
despite posting online that he was going to be in attendance.
He's now being investigated for that.

Speaker 10 (01:26:18):
Good Morning guys edout the haircut on the topic of polymarkets.

Speaker 7 (01:26:23):
Yeah, that's that's disgraceful cheating. This system is the worst.

Speaker 10 (01:26:28):
Like, for instance, I have a bet or a prediction
that Selena will be late three times in the month
of June.

Speaker 1 (01:26:34):
Now, I'm not going to say to you guys.

Speaker 7 (01:26:36):
See you guys don't manipulate it.

Speaker 9 (01:26:37):
But Selena, you've got your already late one time, you know.

Speaker 7 (01:26:40):
Two more times this month winter hurt right, give it
between us, Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
No, I see what you're doing.

Speaker 5 (01:26:46):
Just between you, guys, I'm going to go four times.

Speaker 7 (01:26:48):
Wow, wow, Really I'm going to take the under Okay, really,
I feel like you've turned over a new leaf. That
Selena is motivated to get in a little earlier.

Speaker 3 (01:26:58):
I've been trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
I noticed, I've been trying. Thank you Graham, thank you.

Speaker 7 (01:27:02):
Edgar points out there accurately that you already have one.

Speaker 2 (01:27:05):
Okay, that's out of my control. That was my fault.

Speaker 1 (01:27:07):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
Sure, I even pick out my outfits the night before.

Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Look at you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:12):
I lay out my you know which leggings and hoodie
I'm gonna wear?

Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
Name one is the day before.

Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
No, they're a different ones.

Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
Sure that way, I'm not like because if I do
that in the morning up, I stand there just really tired,
and I forget, like what I'm doing. Let's know those
are laid out, good to go. I get gas the
day before.

Speaker 7 (01:27:27):
Smart, okay, get your get your gas the day before,
lay out your outfit. Just do you lay out your
outfit the night before?

Speaker 3 (01:27:34):
I do?

Speaker 1 (01:27:35):
I do too.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
But that was always the thing that I did.

Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
Yeah, I never did.

Speaker 7 (01:27:40):
I don't want to be bumbling around in the dark
and waking up my wife. So I always have to
pick out what I'm gonna wear.

Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
What I was for.

Speaker 6 (01:27:45):
There are some times where I like, I'll have a
cute outfit laid out, and then in the morning. I'm like,
it's just not one of those days, like I got
it right with.

Speaker 7 (01:27:52):
Like something comfy today and just do you get gas
the day before as an everyday thing in the nine
o'clock hour.

Speaker 6 (01:27:57):
No, that's a rumor that you guys have started talking
about that.

Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
I hate you guys for well, we'll see them. Let's
play this, Creilani, and we will see if Jess goes
to the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (01:28:07):
We're going with the podcast.

Speaker 6 (01:28:08):
Sure, sure, Now I'm going to stay here and the.

Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
