Speaker 1 (00:52):
Batht so somebody to hear the show.

Wow, you don't know. Crystal used to be on the
JV Show many many years ago, and she's a dear
friend of ours. So she's she's back here in the
bay visiting. First talkback of the day.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Good Morning JV Show.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
This is Johnny calling Santos, Hope you all had a
great Memorial weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Well my messages for Jess.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Jess, you didn't tell that that was going to be
raining today.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
A great question.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Also the second question, it's raining today.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I didn't see any rain. I didn't see any rain either,
but when I came outside to leave for work, everything
was wet.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Yes, so there was some rain. I didn't have any
wetness in my neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Wet from a butt.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
But but you guys did, yes, Yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
Mean it was long weekend, hard to predict, you know,
Monday's weather even from Friday. So just you understand, you understand, Yeah, you're.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
The guru report.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
I do the weather.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
Reports a lot of the times.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
There most of the time.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You want to blame the source, like who is the source?
Speaker 2 (01:58):
It's not jes As faults Ram did our weather. He
was like spot on every single time.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
I actually went up in the JV shows live Doppler weather,
balloon news tracking. That's the Mike Nico too, And I
would go up and actually get a pulse for the
storm and like actually visually see it with my own eyes,
and then I.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
Have not I didn't know that I had access to that,
you don't you?
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Yeah, I leave the keys over here in my studio.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
You could yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Quickly, Graham, because we both went to Bottle Rock. I'll
talk about my experience later on, but how.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Did you like it? Did you? Guys?
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Bottle Rock legendary. I went on Saturday. I had an
absolute blast. I had my brother and uh his wife,
and then my sister and her husband in town, and
the six of us along with my wife, we all
went to the concert. Left the kids with my parents
so they had some great parent of time and then
all of us went to the went to the concert.
I uh partook in some edibles ahead of time, so bold.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I would have like a anxiety attack like.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Every Bold about that the crowd was doing the exact
same thing.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
I don't know how normal people can handle that.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
So I went for maybe a slightly heavier dose.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
You know, it's bottle Rock. I was uh feeling it.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
And uh Saturday night when the headliners was food Fighters,
and that's who I really like them, so I want
to see them. And so my wife Kate and I
we like kind of got our spot on the lawn.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
You know, it's a huge area.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
There's tens of thousands of people out there, and last
year we got so smushed in there and people kept
pushing their way through and they just kept getting more
and more uncomfortable, and like this year, like, let's like
try to do a little bit better about actually controlling
our space. Like let's get our spot and lock it down.
So there was a family or a couple or something,
and there was a woman and she was in like
(03:49):
a motorized wheelchair right, and they had a blanket set
up and then she had her chair. I was like, dude,
if we're and we were right behind them, I was like,
nobody's going to push her right, So there we have
like protection on the front side, and then all we
have to do is box out around the backside of
their blanket and we've got our spot.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
It's perfect.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Also, nobody's standing directly in front of you, because again
she was in like a motorized sort of chair situation,
so I was like, perfect view for everybody. And then
nobody's gonna come stomping through and push her over. So
I'm like we've got a first line of defense. Well,
you know, my brother was there and everything. They were like, oh,
we're gonna get some food and then.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
My sister in law wanted to go see Z on
the other stage of they.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Left, so it's just Kate and I and we were
locked in on the show again, you know, a couple
edibles and really watching the show. And I guess the
crowd had must have thinned out over time as the
set had gone on, you know, maybe you know, an.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Hour into it. We looked around and I hadn't looked
around yet.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
We there was like thirty feet of space around us
on all sides, and we just Kate and I were
behind these two people, just directly behind them.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
There was nobody else around for a mile.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
But so the people in front of us must have
thought we were insane and just like, why, I think.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Why are they standing directly behind me?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Directly?
Speaker 5 (05:12):
You guys, like we were like breathing down the back
of their necks thinking.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
That we had the best spot.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
Turns out, the lawn like around us just totally emptied
out and we stand anywhere.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I had no idea. I hadn't I guess I hadn't blinked.
I didn't notice.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
Everybody laughed in wors that we could not stop laughing
about that. I've never laughed harder in my entire life.
And once we finally noticed, we moved. We've moved over
like six feet to one side. But that didn't really help.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
We're like, let's just stick to embarrassing over there.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
It was very embarrassing, but like exploiting, you know, the
physically impaired, you know, to have a seat on the lawn.
I don't know if my heart is in fair with this.
I think it's just a little exploitative grounds.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
What are you talking about.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
I think that was a very very smart strategy, and
they were probably happy, at least initially that you know,
a couple of big, strong guys are behind him protecting
their area as well.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
And Graham being a celebrity and all like, and then
being in her vicinity.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
And then I over protected their area because then everybody
and everyone off, everybody looked creepy.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
It was just the four of us in the middle
of the field.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
When you do a gummy, will your wife partake?
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Gosh, she's so bold. I was just having one giant exactly.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
And how do you see awake?
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Because I get so sleepy if I do that, Like, I.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Need four espresso shots.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
I need a bill to just fetal position on the lawn.
That would be me. I would just knock out. I
can't even stay awake. But you were good.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Grand I was locked in a little bit too again,
a little bit too didn't notice the entire concert of
Left the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, the.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Base number one hit.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Mestag got the whole milk.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
He deserves it.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I knew it.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
I'm just I'm Crystal Crystal. You guys remember Crystal right,
You're on the JV Show many years ago. We love her.
She's visiting. It's time four.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
The four things you need to heads up on to
start your day. X.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Take a look at your Memorial weekend box office? Shall
we number one? I think we all knew this movie
is going to be number one. Star Wars the Mandalorian
and Grogu eight one hundred million dollars over the holiday weekend. Wow,
number two obsession, you guys. I know so many people
that went to go see this and they said it.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Is so good.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
The last week's actually scary. And then Michael was at
number three, maybe another twenty six point nine mil Did
you like it? Yes, it was so good. I love
it too. Yeah, Graham hates it.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yes, I never saw it. Just boycott. It's the idea,
all right.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
It was a pretty good weekend for the San Francisco Giants.
They got a much needed series win as they took
two out of three from the White Sox at Oracle Park.
But yesterday they got a new series underway with Arizona.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
They lost six to two. Game two of this three
game series with the d Bags is tonight at six
forty five.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
Oh, Matt Fogging, God's on this Tuesday morning with some
sprinkles possible. And I hope you guys enjoyed the warm
weather last week, because we are back to the upper
sixty to very very low seventies freezing.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Yesterday I put on a hooded sweatshirt yesterday, a sweatshirt.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
You guys, leave that sweater in your car because you're
gonna need it.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Hey, cancer, bestie, your day to day is going to
be a nine. The universe has been quietly cooking something
behind the scenes, and today might be the day that
a little financial windfall lands in your lap like a
little love letter from your past, responsible self. This is
your sign to put a slice towards something that future
you will also thank you for nice.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
You're so scratchy, Crystal, What.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
I'm not usually up this early?
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Like, how do you like do this?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
How the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Buddy.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Crystal is hanging out with us today. Chuse to be
on the JV Show a long time ago, Grammy probably forgot.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
I don't remember. I've blocked that up out in my memory.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Same. Did you guys when you were younger used to
get like summer jobs?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yep?
Speaker 2 (09:01):
No, yeah. I feel like I never really got a
job just for the summer because once I was open
up to work, I always just worked. I never had
a summer job. But like Graham, what kind of jobs
did you get?
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I had a couple of summers as a lifeguard.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Okay, that's right. We talked about that.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
And kids camp counselor okay, obviously. And prior to that,
my dad used to make me work for this one
winery labor temp agency and they would just staff you
at different bottling lines wineries and you just stacked cases
for ten hours a day with two fifteen minute breaks.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
It was brutal. Oh my god, but you got seven
bucks an hour and you're perfect dude. When I was
a kid, that was good money, Like how old.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Were you when you say, kay, Like, how old were
you doing this kind of work?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I was probably fifteen.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Oh, okay, that's a good age. Okay, I got them
as a good age too.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
It's a good age. But have you ever stacked cases
of wine for ten three hours as a cop bottling line?
Speaker 1 (09:59):
But when we're.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Yeah's doing a lot of money, you guys, that does
not sound fun?
Speaker 1 (10:08):
No, it was not fun.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Well, summer job, summer jobs in this era, they're saying that,
like some summer jobs are now just being redefined. Like
the younger generation gen Z, they are the like they're
obviously going to get work this summer, but it's not
your temp agency or your seasonal job. They are the
most rapidly growing group signing up for on demand jobs
(10:33):
like Uber eats. They're gonna be your dord ash drivers
this summer. They are signing up for Instacar and Lyft
and go puff and all of these like delivery apps.
So like summer jobs, what it used to be is
not that now it's an app.
Speaker 7 (10:45):
Dude.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
That makes sense though, Like if I was if I
was young and looking for a job, what am I
gonna want to do?
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (10:53):
Like packing wine?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Or because they can clock in and then clock back
out whenever they feel like it. They don't feel like working,
they don't have to.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
It's like soft entrepreneurial. I think that's kind of the
vibes that it sounds, because yeah, you build your own
schedule and get to do kind of what you want
and then quit when you want.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Or start your hours whatever you want. But don't you
kind of feel like the regular summer job like builds character.
It's like you need that schedule that you can just
back out of.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
And I think the biggest reason they like these jobs
are there's no job interview.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, there's no boss.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
You answer is they need an older person yelling at them.
Speaker 6 (11:32):
So you guys, as parents, your kids come to you
and they're like, hey, I'm going to get a summer job,
you prefer that they go in and apply for, I say,
your local retail store.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
I would actually prefer that it'd be more of like
an old school type of summer jobs, because then you
have to go the entire process, yeah and deal with people. Yeah,
and you learn so much that way.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah, but they're really picky with their jobs. I have
a step son now, he's fourteen. I'm like, you gotta
get it together. I'm like, you like to swim, why
don't you be a lifeguard? No, I don't want to
be the sun all day. Okay, why don't you go
to the barbershop and sweep for them? I'm not doing that.
That's gonna be seven dollars now, Okay, well then why
don't you?
Speaker 2 (12:07):
And he's like, I'll powerwash sidewalks.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
I'm like, yeah, they're getting pick you these days. They
don't want to just do anything that's a good part.
They want to make a lot of money too.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
But door dash, that just sounds like the easy way out.
But it's still.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
A job and there's so many money.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
I'm not taking anything away from the adults that are
doing that because you're making i mean some decent money.
You do it enough. But I'm saying, for like a
teen or I don't even think you can be a
teen and be a door Dash, I'm prettychap to be
over a certain age. But it seems like the easy
way out.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
And it also seems like they're gonna because they can.
They have so much more control over their schedule. Like
it was a really slow day. I only had like
three deliveries or whatever.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
You bought a couple of gummies that you weren't except.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
That you were like actually hustling hard. You have to
really hustle with those jobs you want to make money,
like a good.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
Start though, like start there and then once you get
a full time job, then you're gonna look for something
better or like.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Inconsistency. Yeah, and I feel like driving jobs at that age, like,
let's be honest, you ain't the best driver.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Liability for sure, us don't want And that's the Selina sidebar,
just really quick.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
For one thing, Crystal mentioned a minute ago she was
a fourteen year old and she sounds like she's seventeen,
and like, how well does she go when she moved
to New York?
Speaker 5 (13:28):
Did she go to some kind of weird time machine?
Come back as an old lady right now?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Are like I remember Crystals? She was like the young
fun one on the show.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
It's the air pollution.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
She came back, like, are you in a bowling league? No,
the scratching boys like you came in today.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Stress.
Speaker 8 (13:44):
The city will age you, family, it will age you,
put you to the stresses.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
I'm a new woman now, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
The JV Show on wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Your friend.
Speaker 9 (14:00):
He said you spell said you Now, I watched it.
I watched the documentary on Netflix. He really sucked the crush.
I don't I don't understand what the whole big deal
was about that lost one of and a half of
my life. I didn't get what it was so exciting
to watch that documentary. It was it was kind of borrowing.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
Oh, stay, so she was talking about the crash.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Is that what it's called?
Speaker 5 (14:23):
Yeah, and she said she lost an hour and a
half her life on that and it was kind of boring.
She didn't understand why you went deep down the rabbit
hole and this and you were all fired up about it.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Had the same. I felt the same when I first
watched it. And the next day my husband's like, wasn't
that documentary so crazy? And I was like, no, I
think it was kind of pointless to make a documentary
about a crash, and like, okay, maybe it was intentional,
like so, like, so what it wasn't until I started
accidentally going down a rabbit hole with like all of
these yeah, like the jail calls and like everything else
(14:52):
that it got it got pretty crazy.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
Okay, so watch everything se so documentary. You know, it's okay,
but then once you get down the rabbit hole and
you start peeling back all the different layers of the onion,
then it gets really good.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
You're telling me, well, I mean even the documentary is
still good. I mean I wouldn't say that it was
a total waste of time. But then even like going
back and watching different ones on different platforms and like
seeing things that the Netflix one didn't include.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Right, so you need to watch two documentaries to make
it feel and a.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Whole bunch of TikTok videos.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
Well whatever, your recommendation didn't land with our French, with
our French listeners, it didn't hit.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
But well, sorry about that.
Speaker 6 (15:27):
It was trending on Netflix, so a lot of people
agree with you, so Leena probably that it yeah, still
is trending.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Oh it's like number one right now, got it? Speaking
of TV, Jess, what are you watching? I've been watching
the latest season of The Perfect Match.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
So I don't know if you guys remember what the
show is about, but basically members from all sorts of
different Netflix shows, and this time they even brought in
somebody from Bravo, so they come together for this show
to quote find their perfect match, but you know, they
just want some more, some more airtime. So there is
something that is brought up about breakups that I want
(16:01):
you guys to weigh in on because we have talked
about breakups previously and whether or not it's okay to
break up with someone around the holidays, you know, or
Valentine's Day. We know that's kind of.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Like a no.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
I think we kind of agree on that that you
have to either wait, I either do it way before.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Or wait way after.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
But how do you guys go about a breakup when
the other person is grieving?
Speaker 4 (16:24):
So?
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Oh, two people can't?
Speaker 6 (16:28):
Two people on the show, they're exus and they have
a conversation about what happened, you know, with their breakup,
and she mentions, you know, you broke up with me
right after my grandma passed away, Like I was still
grieving her, and you went and you broke up with me,
And like, again, how do you go about can't?
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (16:46):
I need to know the timeline and I because I
think there's a different timeline that applies for a different relative.
Really Grandma, grandparents, that's a shorter timeline that you can
break up them, in my mind than an.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Actual parent, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Or a pet.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Pet. I think pet's like a two or three day no,
and then you can break up with them after that time.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
I mean, I get what you're saying, but you can't
put a timeline on that, because for some people, like
their grandparents practically raised them and they're.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Parent I know that.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
I look, I understand that if you're if the grandparent
person was the parent, then you have to adjust the
timeline to apply to them. But if you're dating that person,
you know what that loved one was to them or
the pet was to them, and you apply the appropriate
timeline to that.
Speaker 6 (17:34):
I think it has to be at least a month
or so.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
I think so grieving is so tough that.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
It grieve piles some grief on top of some green.
You can deal with it all at once.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I think a month is good, thank you.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah, No, I think I gotta rip the bandit off
and just do it at the same time because they're grieving. Yes,
they're already sad. So it's just you don't want to be.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
You don't want to be the reason that they.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Get like flushed over the edge. You know they're already
they're already focused on the grieving of the person.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
So they're looking to you, the person they were in
a relationship with, to like make them feel better of them.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Like you're lying, like you don't even really want to
be next to them.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
So you're done, stop for last, for least and dinner.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
But I'm just saying, the box of tissues is already out.
Let them solve about me too.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
So do we know how long this person?
Speaker 6 (18:28):
I wish they went into more details about how the
relationship actually happened, but it seems like he already they
were already having issues before the grandma passed away, and
he already wanted They were already expressing that there were
some issues, but it was after she passed away and
once she was you know, like the grandma got buried.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
And then once she's in the ground.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Sorry stop think so okay, but let's just say you're
the person that's that gets broken up with in the
In this scenario, you've had a loved one past, you've
gone through a really tough time, you finally feel like
you've turned the corner and things are brightening up for
you and you finally have that first happy day, and
then your person breaks up with you.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
A month later or two months later.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
You've worked your way through your grief, and now they
hit you with that. I'd rather get hit with the
bad news. Just pile all the bad news on it once.
Speaker 6 (19:16):
Okay, when you put it like that, I'd rather be
two separate things.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Oh, that would be the worst.
Speaker 6 (19:23):
You need help with the grieving if it's if it's somebody, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
But then they're even uglier when they're grieving, like you
already don't like them, and then now they're crying all
the time.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
You get it pretty crying face.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Oh no, definitely not. I'm saying they're just around the house.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
It's so sad. You guys are so mean, no heart.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
I just think there's no good time. Breakups get a
sting no matter what.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
Right, Yeah, but it just seems like you're piling on
on my worst.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Moment, Like, well, it feels like I'm being fake. If
I'm gonna be here for a grieving period, I don't
want to be there for No, you're adding a more
core memory. I don't need to be there at Yeah,
which now you have to attend attend you know the
memorial suit.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Yeah, you're right, ghost the person.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Then I'm not to stand up there and say some
kind words about me Moa, and everyone's.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Gonna be like he was faking it the entire time.
He's just waiting to break up with you, exactly.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
That's worse you be honest, honestly, you're gonna lose either way.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Crystal, how did you get here? I am Crystal, a
friend of the JV Show. She used to be on
the show way back at you make it sound like
I'm so old, said you aged like eighty years in
New York.
Speaker 3 (20:29):

So it's not that long that I've been.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
How many packs of cigarettes and he smoked between that's
got a camera something then until now, every time I come.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Here, those best is hitting in the walls, I get
the cough.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
It's back.
Speaker 10 (20:41):
So yes, the FSA, it's all the stuff you need
to know what's hot in music, movies, shows and the
most talked about stories happening today in the bay.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Before we talk about Ray J getting knocked out, did
you guys know the American Music Awards were on last night?
Speaker 1 (20:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (20:59):
No, I think they've just stopped promoting award shows. All
together and like nobody knows until we see it on
our Instagram. Yeah, that's how I found out. But let's
go over some of the winners really quick. Bts. They
swept the award show. They won Artists of the Year,
Best Male K Pop Artist, and then Song of the
Summer for their song swim Oh Sabrina Carpenter one Album
(21:22):
of the Year, Best Pop Album, Best Female Pop Artist,
cats Eye New Artist the Year. I love that. I'm
a little confused by this new category best throwback song. Oh,
it's like an award for an old song.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
Okay, it's just an excuse for like, we have some
people that want to come show up for this. How
do we get some more older Yeah, we need some
more celebrities to show up here.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Confusing will create a new category. Wasn't that song that
went to.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Black Eyed Peas? Black Eyed Peas honored last night, so
they just let's get their award to them for a
song they came out.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
But which one was it?
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Really? That rocks that body? Okay?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Was that was that popular?
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Like on it was?
Speaker 6 (22:02):
No, it was popular on till Talk then.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
TikTok didn't exist back then, so there's not any random
song and.
Speaker 5 (22:09):
Okay, I think they just wanted the little viral moment
of the Black Eyed Peas being back together united.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
It was a deal. And guys over here hating on them.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Do you let me some Fergie?
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Yeah, I like Fergi better without them.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
Had to say that the AMAS weren't even on a
bunch of the past few years, because what I read
was a somber got up there to accept some ward
and he was like two years ago. I was on
my couch watching this show just being like, I can't
wait to be on that stage, and everyone's.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Like two years ago. The ams weren't even on. They
took a hiatus for like three years, three or four years.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Way, where's that really quick? Rage A? I told you
he was entering m m A. He had that fight
against super hot Fire.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
What. Yeah, I don't know what that is, but hot.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
Fire is Internet. Yeah, type of streamers, type of diarrhea
you get.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
After certain things.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, he's a streamer slash like internet personality, I guess.
And so Aidan Ross, who is a really big streamer.
He held like an MMA event in Vegas on Saturday.
Ray j A got in there and Grammy said, you
saw some clips he basically got knocked out. Yeah, he
did quickly, and then he gets back up and he's
like disoriented and has to sit down the ref after that,
I was like, we're just gonna call it there. It's done,
(23:28):
like you got knocked out. But I'm glad. Somebody asked
him what we were all thinking, Are you dying? Somebody
asked him this at the press or before the fight.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Aren't you dying soon? I thought the same thing.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
That's what you told us. You did say that, That's
what I was informed.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
That's not my phone. You want to see me die?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (23:48):
No, of course I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
That's what I'm putting it all in the ring.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
If this can really do it, he'll kill me in
the ring. That's up.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
Please, I'm about to die for them, die of plemont.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Stop.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
So he's making it. Of course, there's a risk you
could die. You go into any m m A or
boxing fight or anything you hit the wrong way, you
can die.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
That's when the risk. That's not what they're asking. You're asking.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Heart was functioning at twenty five percent.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
He had blood coming out of your eyeball, your heart
was black, and he had a pacemaker or something.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
You want to see me die like you said that
for j like.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
You addressing addressing.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
So weird? What do you have? I was havy. It
did end in the right way, though he got knocked out,
all right.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
A seven year old boy just became the youngest person
ever to climb El Capitan in Yosemite, or as the
President says, Yosemite, I love just pronounced Tesla. His name
is Joey Danger. Evermore talk about a name and last Sunday.
He began the seven thousand, five hundred and seventy three
(24:55):
foot ascent as a six year old, but he celebrated
his birthday dur that five days that it took to
make it to the top, alongside his dad and his
older brothers. So on the face of a cliff he
turned from six to seven.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Again, making him the younger.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
I know we're done with six seven, but this is
the ultimate sixty seven again, making him the youngest person
to ever make the climb. It was actually his older
brother who previously held that title as the youngest person
to ever make that climb.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
He did it at the age.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Of eight years old, though, so little Joey Danger said,
hold my juice box here, I'm going to do that
at six and then seven. The family says they climb
to inspire other families. Anything is possible if you challenge
one another and push through those challenges and adversity.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
In every single year, they say, each of their boys.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
Sets one colossal goal for that year, like I want
to do something, you know, and in this case, I
want to climb El Kafi ten in Yosumite. And just
got me thinking, like, what was your guys' biggest achievement
by the time you turn seven? Have you ever even
set a colossal goal? And these kids are out joey
dangers out there climbing.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Oh yeah, I don't recall.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
I went on a swing on my stomach when I
was like seven. You know, what do you do? This
spider man thing? And then I scrape my whole nose
and face.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
But that was.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Adventurous, Okay, yeah, what about you, Graham? What adventurous thing
did you do at six or seven?
Speaker 1 (26:16):
I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
I yeah, ever, not much. I'm still not very adventurous now.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah. The JV show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 2 (26:25):

Speaker 2 (26:53):
I vaguely remember when I was little, my mom complaining
that her was drier than usual. Oh yeah, so the
core memory, Yeah that happened. Yeah, yeah, okay, core memory.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yeah, definitely gotta be careful about that dehydrate for that. Yeah,
I think some lotions.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
All right, think about what the bleeved out word could be?
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Remember you, sick goes.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
This is a family show. It's not that or that
or that. But when you finally have a guest that
is something PG. Leave it on the talkback Mike, leave
us your name and your city along with your guest.
We want to be able to shout you out if
you got any correct, but only the first cruick answer.
Speaker 1 (27:28):

Speaker 6 (28:26):
This is Josh calling from Dublin.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
My guess on the bleep that word is turkey. Have
a good dick.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
You've told a lot of stories about your mom's horrifically
dry turkey on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
It's not horrific, it's delicious.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Well, if it's not delicious, it is delicious.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I like my meat dry. So oh, that's good Morning
JV Show. It's beverly out in San Jose. I think
the bleep out word today is skin. Her skin is
super dry. Thanks, have a great Tuesday. Bye motherlike out
of your mouth.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
I think that okay, fine.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Great guess is so far not the correct one, though,
if you want to leave your guests do And now
I'm the talkback MiG and the I Hurt Radio app.
We're gonna play more of your talkbacks coming up.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
This says what the bleep where you just have to
be the first person to guess today's leaped out word correctly.
As always, when you think you know what that word
is you gotta run on over to the talkback Michael
on the iHeart Radio app and leave your guests right there.
First person to get it right wins Today's JB Show,
Chuck Muggs. Here's today's clip in case you missed it.
I vaguely remember when I was little, my mom complaining
that her was drier than usual, like so dry, yes.
Speaker 6 (29:41):

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Don't know, and ask her you stick. Let's go to
your guesses. Remember this is a family.
Speaker 6 (29:49):

and not a lot of groundwater.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
The veggie started drying up like her lists and her elbows.

only yep, le.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
The first and only correct answer this morning.
Speaker 5 (31:56):

a lot of people wanted to talk about their dried
out body parts. Leo getting himself a JV show Chuck
Munk for that first and again only correct answer this morning.
Since we have no one else to shout out, I
got it correct. Let's go over some of the more
popular guesses this morning. Eyes a very popular guest this morning.

Speaker 11 (32:31):
I like the moist ones, scalp, heels, throat, and then
there were a lot of drink related guesses because you
can have a dry martini, you can have a dryer
champagne or a dryer wine.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
So there were a lot of drink related guesses this morning.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Slave, bye bye, Happy Tuesday, six seventh slay.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
We want to start saying that now, happy birthday.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Please.
Speaker 10 (40:31):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Okay, so we have to talk about the Taylor Swift
wedding guest list. The countdown is on until Taylor and
Travis type of nott. It is hard to actually have
an actual countdown because we don't know the exact date.
It's rumored to happen fourth of July weekend, but we
don't really know for sure. We do know that it
is this summer though, and according to a source, Blake
Lively is not on the guest list now. The source
(41:04):
is saying that could always change, and a very well
might change now that she's settled to Justin and a
lot of the drama is behind her. But right now
she's not on the guest list.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
I know that.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
So that means if they were still going to trial,
that she wouldn't have been invited at all.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
That's messed up. That's not girls girl of Taylor.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
What did the vow prediction journals say about this?
Speaker 3 (41:29):
So I had we said, we're sticking to the predictions
from August of last year. Talk amongst yourself. I'm gonna
go back to.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Say it's not very girl girls girl because it wasn't
on Blake's side either. I mean, I guess it wasn't
her fault. But if I'm Taylor, I'm livid that all
of my personal text messages got leaked because of you
being stupid.
Speaker 6 (41:54):
So Grandma and Selena you both said no, we will
not be at Taylor's wedding.
Speaker 5 (41:59):
I said yes, So I guess props like on stand by,
ready to be poured, but not yet, sir.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
She's got there for sure.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
I don't know of Selena Gomez, Benny Blocker, they're obviously
going to be there. Zoe Kravitz. People were wondering if
she was going to be invited because her relationship with
Taylor is being described as like bumpy Lately, but they're
saying that she is on the guest list, and if
that's true, that also means Harry Styles, Taylor's ex is
(42:27):
going to be her plus one. That seems a little
messy ed. Sharon, of course will be there and let
me know what you guys think about this. There is
an anonymous invite te who told The Daily Mail that
her invite and we don't know if this is a
celebrity or like family member or what, but their invite
did not bring the option or did not have the
option to bring a plus one. They think it's because
(42:48):
she's she's single. So this person doesn't think they're even
going to go because she doesn't want to go by herself.
And it's not like she's bestie's with gigihadied, so it's like,
who is she gonna hang out with going to Taylor's
wedding by her? Have to go to Taylor's wedding. I'd
go by myself in a harpy. I've got Taylor swis sweating.
Speaker 13 (43:06):
Who cares.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
And you can't miss it? I think I'd go, but
maybe leave early because I I'm not that person that
thrives in like solo environments, like I cannot be but myself.
And then at a wedding reception and you're just like
sitting there.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
By yourself, but is gonna be open?
Speaker 2 (43:27):
And then you just go dance to the random people
that you don't know. This girl like, no, I get it.
So I get it. But what do you guys think
about the rule?
Speaker 6 (43:37):
I think that's that's perfectly fine.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
It's what I would expect. I mean, a wedding this huge.
You don't want some random person. It has to be
somebody that they obviously trust. You know, if you're a single,
you can't just bring you know, the guy that you've
only dated for a couple of weeks if you're gonna
get Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:52):
I'm okay with a no plus one world for Taylor Swift.
Speaker 5 (43:55):
Yeah, And they need everybody to sign an NDA, so like,
can you forward this to them?
Speaker 2 (44:01):
They got to sign it, yep, and they got to
do a background check and all that probably probably legitimately
if I was a random I'm telling everyone, I'm going
I'm telling her what Yeah they don't want?
Speaker 8 (44:11):
Yeah, exactly, all right, Grandma, do you have scary scammeler
Is Barry and mom said she lost thousands of dollars
to some scammers who.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
Claimed to have kidnapped her daughter.
Speaker 5 (44:24):
Deborah del Mastro says she got a call from an
unknown number earlier this month and she picked up a
first mistake there mom, but a man on the line
set her thirty seven year old daughter, Sarah had been
kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel because she saw something she.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Wasn't supposed to see. She got tangled up with the
wrong people.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
But then he played proof of it, recording of her
daughter's voice in a panic, telling her mom she loved her,
she was so scared and she was sorry. The caller
then demanded that she wired money, which this mom did
five four hundred dollars to be exact, and then he
said they were going to release.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Her at a local grocery store.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Mom went there, now where to be found, So then
she called her daughter directly, who answered the phone that
was like, Mom, I'm at work right now.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
I can't talk to it now, I'm busy, I'm at work.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
Clearly, these scammers used AI to replicate her daughter's voice,
because the mom said it was spot on. It was her,
So experts are suggesting that you and your family members
if you want to not fall victim to the scam,
and everyone in the family should have a code word.
That way, it may sound like exactly that, because these
(45:30):
AI scams are going to just proliferate over the next
you know, several years, it'd be more and more common.
So you have to have a code word ready. My
family's is apple pie. I shouldn't have told everybody.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Actual code word.
Speaker 3 (45:46):
Since I was a little baby, my mom always told
me and my brother, like, yep, a co word if
anything happened you, here's a code word pickle and so something.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
If I got kidnapped and if I'm.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Seriously in danger.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Here's what I need everybody to do. Because you can
just go to the podcast once it's uploaded to get
Crystal's voice right there. So we're gonna clone that. Yeah,
and now we know the co word, we can get
thousands of dollars out of her parents.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
And then we'll call your mom and it'll just be.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
Like, pick.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
What Crystal, what are you talking about? You remember the code?
Speaker 3 (46:21):
What's yours?
Speaker 2 (46:21):
Cream pie?
Speaker 3 (46:22):
What did you say?
Speaker 2 (46:22):
A hole pie pie?
Speaker 1 (46:24):
I gotta change it now, you want to change it?
Speaker 5 (46:27):
Martinez Police is there say they are investigating this case,
but she doesn't expect to recover any of her money.
Speaker 3 (46:33):
Oh, Selina, what's your code?
Speaker 1 (46:35):
We're going to be one right now.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
I didn't know that we had a code. Uh, probably
my Starbucks order.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
That's too complicated, you.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Know, my order of crystal. You look like that kind
of girl. You look, oh my god, like to the tea.
How did you know?
Speaker 3 (46:51):
Basically, look at the nose ring. It's a nose ring,
all right.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Coming up next on the JV Show, Grammy said you
needed a little bit of advice.
Speaker 5 (47:00):
Yes, I hired some people to do some work in
my house and you guys, there was a total botch.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Job, the worst I've ever seen. That's next the JV
Show on Wild ninety.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
Four nine, Wildity for nine were the Bathes Number one
hait music station that JV show. I'm Selena, I'm I'm Crystal.
Thanks for hanging out with this on this Tuesday. Crystal,
if you don't know, former JV Show member, and she's
back in the bay this morning hanging out with us.
Before we get to the advice that you need, Graham
over this botched job at your house. Did that trend
(47:30):
happen at the Giants game that.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
We're talking about, as I predicted, pour me up a
bowl of cocoa props because we talked last week at
the end of last week about how the tarps off
trend was sweeping Major League Baseball stadiums.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
If you're not.
Speaker 5 (47:42):
Familiar, mainly young men all just taking their shirts off
and waving around, and whole sections of crowd just shirts off.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
And the clips that.
Speaker 5 (47:52):
I saw circulating on social media from Friday night and
Saturday through the weekend, a lot of tarps off at
the Giants game, everybody's shirts off and swinging him in
the air. The tarps off trend officially arrived.
Speaker 2 (48:07):
It's there.
Speaker 6 (48:07):
Yeah, I was there on Sunday and I saw.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
A few groups of people doing it. I didn't participate.
Speaker 2 (48:14):
Your man was he there? He was there.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
He didn't participate. He actually didn't. He had no clue
what I was talking about when I was.
Speaker 5 (48:20):
Like, look, they're doing yeah, get your charp off.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
A lot of people were doing it, though, so I
guess it is a thing.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
Did any ladies or no age range, That's what I
don't kind of ageless.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
We don't discriminate here in the Bay Area. It in
New York. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (48:39):
Well the clip that I saw, I think was from
Friday night and it was a huge section of what
looked like the bleachers, all tarps off, everybody was partaking.
All right, I need a little bit of advice from
you deal holes here in studio with me, and if
you would like to weigh in on the talk pack, Mike,
please do on the iHeartRadio because last week, well, if
(49:00):
people have seen my Instagram story, my wife is having
me built this like built in I guess you call
it a banquette, like built in seating thing. It's gonna
have a table like you could eat at it. I
don't know, it's got like a little dining nook. Maybe
she'd had me build this like built in thing. I
built the seat part, and I've rewired the walls for
she wants some.
Speaker 1 (49:18):
Sconces in there.
Speaker 5 (49:19):
I've done all the like the my work part, and
now it comes to the part where she wants some wallpaper,
because of course she does.
Speaker 1 (49:26):
She wants this area to be.
Speaker 5 (49:28):
Wallpaper, and I've done some other wallpaper in her house
for it. Look, I hate it. I don't like doing wallpaper,
but I can do it. I'm pretty good at it.
So she orders the wallpaper. It arrives, I'm all set
up to get rolling on it. I was like, I'll
do this. I unbox this wallpaper. What in the holy
hell is this stuff? I don't I've done wallpaper for it.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
This stuff is like untrimmed, and the instructions are like,
you got to overlap way over lap two pieces, you
got to do a double cut. You're creating your own
news seam.
Speaker 5 (49:55):
And it's like and Kate's like it just so you know,
you can't mess up because we have about the exact
amount we need and this stuff's really expensive. And so
I was like, I'm not. I'm this is above my
pay grade. I need a pro to do this.
Speaker 1 (50:07):
And so she called around and a friend of a
friend was like, oh, we use this one guy. He's good,
he'll he'll do it. And so we texted him a
picture of it and he said, yep, I can handle that,
and it wasn't expensive, and I said done, somebody else
can do it, not me. This guy showed up, he
had to help her and put the wallpaper up.
Speaker 5 (50:26):
And I got home and it's the worst job I've
ever seen in my entire life. It's absolutely terrible. You
have one job. When you're hanging wallpaper, I don't know.
You got to get it level right, Like there's a
pattern on it, it's got to be level.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
It's not it's all uneven. Lines aren't connecting and stuff.
Speaker 5 (50:44):
You guys put I put my laser level on the wall.
So I like, I got to just see this am
my trip in? Or is this and from in a
seven foot run? One side is three inches lower than
the other side. That's a lot in a very short run.
So when you look at it, it makes you feel
like the entire room is sloped and or you're really
drunk or higher. So because you're like I can't it's
(51:05):
very it's very disoriented illusion museum. Yeah, it's with the
pattern and like it all is all off anyways.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
But at that point, dudes are paid cash gone. It's
not a company. You know. There's some guys that did
a side job, that did a great job at somebody
else's house, but.
Speaker 5 (51:21):
Came and just completely watched my house. What is my
what are my options here? Because I already had I
had to rip it all off yesterday. I had to
tear it all down yesterday. And this wallaper not salvagable
in the wallpaper super expensive.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
Kate's devastated. She's like, I think I can live it,
and I was like, you can't. I can't. I can't
unsee it. It's so bad.
Speaker 5 (51:43):
I stripped it all off yesterday, which in itself isn't.
One of the worst jobs you can ever have, is
peeling wallpaper off the wall.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
My gosh.
Speaker 6 (51:50):
So when he finished the job, you weren't there to
critique it right then and.
Speaker 5 (51:54):
There, right I was there towards the end, and I
kept a critique in my head because I knew there
was no fixing it because we didn't have more sheets
of the paper.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
I was just like, but you didn't say anything.
Speaker 1 (52:05):
What am I going to say? Is this universe?
Speaker 3 (52:08):
Is that a little bit lower?
Speaker 1 (52:09):
But you say it like I don't know?
Speaker 2 (52:11):
At least so they know they did a trash job.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
They have eyeballs. They had to have known they did
a trash job back.
Speaker 6 (52:17):
Now and be like, oh, yeah, I know. I said
thank you, and I didn't mention anything.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
And so the what are you asking if you're not
planning on saying anything, Well.
Speaker 1 (52:24):
Can you ask for your money back?
Speaker 2 (52:26):
Yeah? Better?
Speaker 5 (52:27):
Yeah, But this is not like a company it's like
a guy he's doing like a side job.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
It was cash deal. He's going to be like, I'm
going to call him and he's like, who's this.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Wait, what's the relationship with you?
Speaker 3 (52:35):
Because it's a friend of a friend, right, Well, a
friend or a friend gave us the yeah recommend they
gave us his guys number. You take pictures of the
botched job.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Probably okay, that's one. Yeah. I looked at him and
just vomited.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
I was so upset or you were hungover, probably well,
probably that probably because I was dizzy looking at this slanted,
crooked job.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
I think minimum like, you're just you're out on the money.
It costs you to buy the supplies, but you need
to get your money back for the job that they did.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
See.
Speaker 5 (53:03):
That's the thing that bugs me, is like, is the
materials far far outweighed the install cost. I can eat
the install costs whatever, but the amount that was I
don't know. I mean, apparently this wallpaper must have been
made out of solid gold or something, because I don't
get where my wife fights this stuff. It was the
biggest ripoff in the history of ripoffs. But whatever, that's
the money that I'm really concerned.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
About they may not say anything.
Speaker 5 (53:26):
I got to order more of that, and he still
wants it up there. I got to start all over.
Speaker 6 (53:31):
I just kind of feel like you should have waited
to take it down to let him know so that
he could see how pat it looked before you took
the wallpaper down yourself.
Speaker 5 (53:41):
He had eyeballs. You know that at the corners the
pattern didn't even match. It's like, were you even trying?
Speaker 11 (53:46):
What?
Speaker 1 (53:47):
Like? Bro I could have done a better job myself.
That was the other thing that's frustrating.
Speaker 5 (53:52):
As complicated as it was, I could have done it
better myself because I would have kept my eyes open.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
I think you call them back, say that you have
a lot of war work for them.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Yeah, you're not happy here, and you cover it with
leaves so when they walk.
Speaker 13 (54:11):
Drop them in the pit, you're like, aha, give me
my money back, and you're like, I don't have your
money off to go to the at And then you
got a lower rope down and rob them get them
out there.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
That's not what I mean.
Speaker 3 (54:23):
You guys, You tell them that you have so much
wallpaper work for them to do that you weren't very
satisfied this time.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
But please, you know, tell them that this is their chance.
Speaker 3 (54:33):
To make it up to you, buy the material, do
the work right, and that you have many more walls
for them to work on.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
I like Selena's I did with the pit because nobody
ever sinks that looking for them.
Speaker 2 (54:47):
And then you can get money out of them blackmail.
Just use AM when it costs, use.
Speaker 6 (54:52):
AI and tell them that their daughter's been kidnapped and
they owe you this amount of money, which is obviously
the money that the wallpaper was worth, and to drop
it off at your house.
Speaker 5 (55:01):
There's nobody that questions like why is there a sandwich
lying in the middle of this path on this big
thing of leaves?
Speaker 1 (55:06):
You still want the sandwich and the yeah, and then
you keeps them in there, you pull those stick with us.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
I don't think this is going to work.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
I think I'm just out of money.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Are you even going to try?
Speaker 1 (55:21):
I don't know. I don't know what to do.
Speaker 5 (55:22):
And Kate's all stressed out about it, and she said
you can if you want to call him and talk
to him, you can call him talk because she had
been the point person, you know, going back and forth
with them before and I hadn't.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
But in this economy gram. You gotta call him. You
gotta call him and tell.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
Them how much the materials were and how you they're
going to pay me back?
Speaker 2 (55:37):
That awkward.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
Yeah, that's the money I want back.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
Get into it.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
I think it's too late now. You should have fought
it initially.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
I think at the very least, just at least call
them and let them know that they ruined your wall.
Speaker 5 (55:50):
But that's what I said. I was like, at least
I should tell them that they did a horrible job.
What's the point of that, Because.
Speaker 2 (55:56):
It'll make you feel better. Yes, I'm kind of back
to the trap idea.
Speaker 5 (56:00):
Yeah, I'll get I'll get a shovel, start digging. It's
got to be a pretty big hole to touch a man,
sorry ground.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
That blows the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
You want to lay at a little situation.
Speaker 5 (56:15):
Yeah, my wife wanted some very expensive I might add
wallpaper hung at our house, and normally I would have
done it, but it was very complicated stuff, and so
hired some just sort of random guys that had done
a job at a friend's house and it turned out
great over there, and then they totally absolutely botched our job.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
But we had already paid them, and.
Speaker 5 (56:36):
They are long gone on their way and the wallpaper
is more crooked than crystal after a couple of drinks.
Speaker 3 (56:45):
I'm sorry, bro, take the l lesson learned.
Speaker 10 (56:48):
I mean, it just seems more of a half than it's.
You're already in.
Speaker 4 (56:52):
For it, so I don't know.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
It's my thoughts helpless day.
Speaker 5 (56:57):
Yeah, I mean that's sort of how I'm feeling right now.
I just have to take to l on it, because
what there weren't a company that I could go ask
for my money back on and or the other thing
would be like in construction, the guys frames a wall
the wrong way or runs electrical wires in the wrong place,
or runs plumbing pipe somewhere, you say, hey, come back,
and you got.
Speaker 1 (57:15):
To do it the right way, fix it this way.
I would never ask these.
Speaker 5 (57:18):
Guys to come back and do another wallpaper job, because
if they did it like they were blindfolded, there's.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
No way they could do it better.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
But you still gotta let them know, hey, you screwed
this up next, just so doesn't happen again next time.
Take your gosh dang time with it and do it
right on whatever next jobs you get, Like because of you,
I had to rip the entire thing down and I
lost this many hundreds of dollars or whatever.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
They're just gonna be like, okay, like what the advice?
Speaker 2 (57:41):
So better that that that I let them know.
Speaker 1 (57:43):
That you screwed it up, I guess.
Speaker 6 (57:45):
But you can't do that unless you're if you're gonna
ask for your money.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
Then do that. If you're just gonna call them to come.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
Just to be me.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
And I don't know about that money back, Like I
already lost out on the supplies that I pay for.
I'm not asking for you to replace that. But I
paid you for a service that you didn't even do right,
give me my money back.
Speaker 5 (58:01):
Most company, well, technically they did hang the wallpaper. I
mean again, just totally wrong, but they didn't do it.
Speaker 1 (58:07):
It was bad though.
Speaker 14 (58:08):
Most company that gave you the wallpaper have a policy
that they can either refund you your money or maybe
reprint the wallpaper and send it to you for free
if you let them know that the pattern they sent
to you was not lining up properly and did not
go on. So I hope that helps and save you
some money.
Speaker 2 (58:29):
All right, bye? I love that My wife already reordered it,
and again, this wasn't a company that you went with,
so you couldn't like.
Speaker 5 (58:37):
Well, she's saying you could call the actual maker of
the wallpaper and say it's printed is printed wrong or something.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
What if it was printed wrong?
Speaker 4 (58:46):
It wasn't good Morning jav show. This is Antoinette from
San Jose. I hope y'all had a good three day.
And Graham, No, honestly I would have told them or
text them like, hey, this is Kate husband and it
was not a good job. So if you don't want
a bad review to flourish through my radio show, then
(59:07):
you would either like to pay me back or fix
or give me half of what I paid for this
expensive wallpaper that I have to repurchase.
Speaker 1 (59:17):
The gay Yeah see that was the bomber. The wallpaper
more expensive than the install which again, where does my
wife find this stuff? Also, who's bringing why is wallpaper back?
I hate wallpaper?
Speaker 5 (59:28):
That's the problem though, And a lot of thank you
to everybody left talk backs. A lot of people are
saying we'll leave a one star review if people don't
like negative reviews and leave it. This was just these
are just a couple of guys, so I can't what
Am I gonna sit up here and say, hey, if
you're gonna get a wallpaper job, don't use.
Speaker 1 (59:43):
Matt In you know from bren County or whatever. You know, Like,
what am I gonna do? Rip on them?
Speaker 5 (59:49):
Like the I can't, I can't leave a negative review.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
Blame the friend that referred them to you. Maybe you
can go after him and be like, listen, I trusted you,
you are my good friend. Now I'm out the wa
wallpaper and the why'd you do this to me?
Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
Bro than I've seen the job that they that this
guy did it there, I was, it was perfect. That
was the thing I don't understand about this whole situation.
Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
Drunk it was a holiday weekend, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
Can you blame them?
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Coming up next on the JV Show, can I please
talk about my very first experience going to Bottle Rock?
That was my best time. It was so much fun.
There's a few things I do want to discuss coming up.
Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, that'd be Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Things hanging out with us. I'm Selena, I'm I'm Crystal Crystal,
former JV show member. So much fun having you hang
out with us this morning, Crystal, So I finally went
to Battle Rock for the first time ever. You guys,
every year it comes and goes, and I've never made
it out there. But you guys, you know my boys,
the back few boys there warming and I had to
(01:00:50):
go see them. Made me feel like a bit of
a crazy fan though, because I saw them. You just
saw them less than a year ago.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
Yeah, girls, oh yeah, sphere, Yeah, what you said was
the greatest concert of yours.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
I've ever been.
Speaker 3 (01:01:02):
To nerd Alert.
Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
So when I heard they're gonna be a NAPA, I
had to go. So we made it happen. And then Graham,
you were like, I know, I knew it went late.
Everyone's like, take a jacket, it gets it gets cold out.
I didn't really put much thought into the outfit I
was gonna wear a Battle Rock and I mean, I
guess I should have because a lot of the outfits
there were like so good.
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
People went all out for this thing. So you were
your black leggings and your hoodie.
Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Yes, black leggings, black hoodie crocs us No I did wear.
I wore a pink dress and as I'm like trying
to figure out, like what jacket goes with this pink dress,
I'm like trying everything on. I'm like, I don't know,
I have to go with my jean jacket, I guess,
and I tried so hard not to because literally, was
(01:01:44):
it Friday, Yeah, I think so. It was sometime last week,
Friday or Thursday of last week. We were just talking
about the easiest way to spot a millennials is with
their jean jacket, jacket, jean jackeletic.
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Part of it was distressed. I'm sure was a little
distressed and had maybe maybe a little bit yeah, maybe
a little bit. I mean, yeah, but you know, I
just I had to do what I had to do.
And you know, it's it's fine. I'm a proud millennial.
It's not something I try to hide.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
It's what I am. I'm embracing it. But I wasn't.
I just didn't want like the backlash, you know, people
calling me out. I saw by Graham's house on the
way there to pick something up, and you posted a
picture of us.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
Uh huh.
Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
We were having a little pregame chilled shot of tequila.
You gotta get warmed up before you head over to
the concert, and you were there wearing your jean jacket
and the Holy flood of dms on my side because
there were two things that people, every single person commented
in my DMS about that picture that I posted of
us and your man. One was obviously the jean jacket,
(01:02:43):
not the millennial jean jacket. So literally every response, but
then the other ones were like, you actually invited them
over to your new house, Like what why would you
do that?
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
You said, you've never invited them over. I was like,
they've been there before. This was actually not their first
visit to the Herbert household that the jean jackets. Selena
really overtook my DM.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
You're not embarrassed. I'm not. I thought I would be,
you know what, because I was like, God, this is
like are you always going to get ish for it?
Because we had just talked about it, and so I like,
I leave Graham's house in my jean jacket, I pull
up a bottle rock. I was meeting up with my
cousin no who was also jean jacket jacket, and I
(01:03:28):
stopped talking about the story. I was like, oh my god,
you're like so old, like like why are we in
jean jackets right now?
Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
And then you're there.
Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
Watching the Backstreet Boys and.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
They were wearing their jean jackets. Probably they weren't.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
They were wearing all white, Oh jean jackets.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Now that you and your best year, like the jean
jacket will say this, I.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Will say this. Jean jackets definitely had a moment and
where we looked at jean jacket, gan jacket, jean jacket,
jean jacket, mostly millennials, but not all of them.
Speaker 6 (01:03:58):
Wasn't there towards them Alee Tour.
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Yes, the millennial mom tour, millennial mom to yeah, yeah,
the g And there were a ton of jean jackets
out of pot Rock and we had that. We had
that heat waved last week and it was roasting and
NAPA and then that just went away and this weekend
it was actually.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Like not very hot and then cold and windy at night.
Speaker 5 (01:04:17):
So Bottle Rock was rather cold and like pretty windy
at night. And so during the daytime though, it was
you know, it was warm enough, and the outfits that
we noticed during the daytime were holly short, doesn't cover
anything sort of outfits on the younger the younger ladies
were But then you're like, where what are they going
(01:04:38):
to do? The second the sun goes down and it
drops twenty degrees got cold. Fact, they disappeared, they were
nowhere to be found, or they were hiding under a
geen jacket.
Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
At all.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Was the performance everything that you thought it was going
to be.
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
It was until it wasn't. I should have expected this.
They have a lot of a lot of slow songs,
and I didn't mind it so much in Vegas, maybe
because you're like so wrapped up in the graphics of
the sphere and everything, but I don't know. I kind
of wasn't feeling the sad, slow depressing songs so much.
And I mean it was fine. It was still really
really good. But like me and my husband, we ended
(01:05:12):
up splitting up for that part because they were the
last performance of the night. Yeah, and he did not
want to see the Backshoot boys, So I was like, well,
why don't you go with you know, my cousin's husband
and you guys go see Ludacris, who's performing at the
same time we're going to see you know, We're going
to see are our boyfriend Nick Carter, and we'll meet
back up afterwards. We ended up leaving early to beat
like all the traffic out there. Smart idea by the way, Yeah,
but we met them over on like Luda's side, and
(01:05:35):
it was like party energy, people's working and turns, and
I'm like, yeah, we watched the wrong show. Not one
jean jacket inside jean jacket. There was still a lot
of Gene jackets.
Speaker 5 (01:05:46):
But you were Gen jacket and feels for the Backstreet
Boys slow Jim.
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
Maybe if it was my first time seeing them, maybe yeah,
But I mean it's Bottle Rock. I wanted to be like,
you know.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Yes, that was the critique that was sort of the
same vibe. I'm a big Food Fighters fan.
Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
They put on an amazing show, but it was a
much different vibe than z who was going on in
the other main stage and my brother and his wife
they were over there, and it's just like fireworks and
light showing, like yeah, everybody's just like going crazy. Yea,
Andrew level is very different. Both very good performances, but
like totally different.
Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
Yeah. I wanted more of the dancy vibes. Yeah, I
didn't really get that everybody, but it was still a
lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
Overall.
Speaker 5 (01:06:27):
Impressions of Bottle Rock as a whole, like you want
to go back next year?
Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Yeah, was your takeaway, And I can't stop thinking about
that spicy fried chicken sandwich you recommend it?
Speaker 5 (01:06:37):
Oh yeah, there's a food truck and apple called Imagination
on Fire. They make the best and they have a
stand every year of bottle Rock. It's the best spicy
fried chicken sandwich.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
So real quick, I want to take a consensus. What
should we prefer? The jean jacket or the card again
on Selena, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
The jacket jacket, jean jacket, cardigans.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Anyway, I never forget.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
I forgot, I didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
I still think about it a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
You're actually really weird to that. It's true. Today's hottest
trending is coming up next. Can we talk about this
latest episode of Euphoria?
Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Yes, Graham Sydney's Bazoomers came out, but we'll talk about
it coming up.
Speaker 10 (01:07:22):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the bay.
Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
Did you guys watch this most recent episode of Euphoria?
Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
Not yet.
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
I'm not gonna spoil anything. Well, Jess, I already spoilt
it for you off the air. Thanks. I'm not gonna
spoil who allegedly dies all the air I'm not gonna
I'm not gonna spoil it. What I do want to
talk about, though, is this wild Sydney Sweeney scene. So
she has a skicy scene in this episode with Richard
Gear's son, who this is his first like TV role, okay,
(01:08:00):
in Euphoria, and it got so crazy that they broke
the bed in this scene. Graham, I don't know if
your wife is working in the office at all this week,
but this might be a scene you want to run
home and check out because she.
Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
Goes into the office. She goes in one day week
and I think that's on Thursday, so I know.
Speaker 2 (01:08:17):
I wait until Thursday on Friday. How how that scene
is because they're they're bouncing and you can see you
can see her face in the shot too, so you
know it's.
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
Not a boob double got it?
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Okay, it could still be prosthetics, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
I'm sure she's okay with showing.
Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
That's the body. I get to I'm shocked.
Speaker 6 (01:08:37):
So then this is going to be like basically.
Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
I guess so doing it for the ratings.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Also, there's new reports out that Scooter Brawn, which is
her boyfriend, actually not all that okay with the scenes
she does for the show. He understands it's her job,
but according to a source quote, boundaries are definitely being
tested because the last report we talked about he was like, Yeah,
it's fine, you're happy, it's your passion. We're all good.
It's actually not all good.
Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Yeah, I mean not completely.
Speaker 5 (01:09:05):
You would rather I think you are understanding that this
is a role that she's played before. You guys work together,
and it's her character on the show, and it's her job,
and it pays very well, and you have to be
supportive of that as the new herb boyfriend, new wish.
Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
Right, they've been together for a little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:09:22):
But in your mind, you'd also prefer it if she
was doing a different role that didn't involve all.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
That, right, Yeah, she just had to accept it. Yeah,
I guess in this room are me and Jess the
only ones who've watched The Crash on Netflix.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
I have not watched.
Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
I've not watched it. I started latched it fell so
apparently so documentary Little Crash. It's a documentary on Netflix.
If you don't know, it's still like one of the
top trending things right now. It's about this girl who
is now early twenties. But when she was just a teenager,
Mackenzie Sharilla, she crashed her car, killing her two excuse me,
your two passengers. And she's currently in prison right now,
(01:09:59):
serving two sentences of fifteen years to life, like concurrently
right and there. Ever since this documentary came out of Netflix,
there's been a bunch of videos posted that are like
her jail calls to her mom or to like different people,
one of them and one of the calls. The person
on the other line, we don't know who it is.
It kind of sounds like her mom, but we're not
(01:10:20):
really sure. We also don't know the date this call
was made. But this person is telling McKenzie, who's in prison,
how her story got so big that the Daily Mail
is reporting on it. And she is like, oh my god,
that's so crazy. She's like laughing, like, so you mean
Kim kardash she might see my story, she might know
who I am. And she's like laughing this entire thing
off and kind of jokes about like, oh, maybe Kim
can be my lawyer. Just tell her I wear skims,
(01:10:43):
tell her all I wear is skims. Maybe she'll represent
me and be my lawyer. What a source close to
Kim says, ain't no way that whatever happen. Kim advocates
for a criminal justice reform by supporting individuals she believes
were wrongfully convicted, as well as people within the prison
system who demonstrated rehabilitation and deserve a fair second chance.
(01:11:03):
This does not fall within her focus. That's her response.
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
No prison skims, huh no.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
No, dang, no.
Speaker 6 (01:11:09):
You know what I heard that her time in prison
also hasn't been all that bad because her parents are
still I'm talking about Mackenzie. Her parents are still buying
her makeup while she's in there, getting her you know,
the best food.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
She has everything in there.
Speaker 6 (01:11:23):
You know, free time to learn her little hobbies and everything.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
So she's having a time.
Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
And I think that's why the lore keeps getting deeper,
because we keep finding out that it seems like she's
loving all the attention of what's going on, and it's
that's what's making it so ichy that we are.
Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
It's too much.
Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
I know, I'm boycotting the documentary. Then I don't want
to give any more views.
Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
No, you should still watch it, I want yeah, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:11:46):
Graham, all right, we got to talk about the Breadwinner.
What's the Breadwinner? Glad you asked?
Speaker 5 (01:11:51):
That's a new movie coming out this week starring my favorite,
absolute favorite stand up comic, Nate Bargatzi, funniest dude out there,
that guy, he's so good. iHeartRadio doing something pretty coo
this week in honor of his new movie. He's playing
a dad in it. His wife has to leave on
like this big business trip and he's in charge of
the kids after that, and hilarity ensues.
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
You know, wait, why does this kind of sound like
your real life?
Speaker 5 (01:12:13):
It does sound a lot like our real life with
NonStop dad fails on top of that. So we want
to hear some of your best parenting hacks or tips
or tricks, anything that you employ your life and could
be in the form.
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):

to deal with the three kids while while the while
his wife's gone on a business trip or something like that.

Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
Yes, I don't want to parts change their change their litter.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
I didn't need that.
Speaker 5 (01:13:01):

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
Radio Pigi The JV Show on Wild ninety.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Four nine Bay for the JV Show. I'm Selena, I'm Jess,
I'm Crystal.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
Oh, I want to do a shout out real.
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Quick, because Graham, do we have time for shoutouts right now?
Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
I think that's going to be really.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Good, be such a break shout out.
Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
But actually, yeah, we do have a little bit of
time because I'm still pleasing amazing husband.
Speaker 6 (01:13:41):
Zaddie.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
I love You're married?
Speaker 6 (01:13:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
How Mary you were there?
Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
Oh that's right, I invited you both. Must not have
been a very memorable wedding. Okay, tell us more.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Sorry, he's driving right, now birthday. No, he's just hanging
out with us on the free I Heart radio app.
Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
And these set my station in York number one, and
then you guys are set number four. Don't worry the
j number four on the precinct.
Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Okay, wow, well then okay, every Monday, by today's Tuesday,
because we had yesterday off, we bring a photo from home,
a photo from our weekend.
Speaker 6 (01:14:14):
Jess, they're going up speak you could start talking about, well, we.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Talked about how I went to Bottle Rock. So, oh,
my jean jacket is not in this picture. This is
during the daytiuse the jean jacket. But this is uh
me and my husband. We didn't bring a blanket, so
we had to buy one, and he was like, you
better sit on this thing. It costs like eighty dollars.
I don't know if it actually costs that much, but
we spent a lot of time sitting on this blanket
to get, you know, as much the blanket there. We
had to buy a blanket there.
Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
Why didn't you stop by my house on the way
up there.
Speaker 5 (01:14:42):
We pregamed for a few and I even said, I
was like, AJ, do you need a jacket or something.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
It's going to get cold there. Later He's like, I'll
just buy one there, aeen one I couldn't give me that.
I couldn't give you a blanket or something to to borrow.
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
I didn't know we're going to need a blanket, Like
I didn't know that we were etiquette everyone blinking. That's
all I see is just blanking. You were going to
be like in one spot long enough. I don't I've
never been to Bottle Rock, but whatever, this is us
on our new Bottle Rock blanket.
Speaker 6 (01:15:12):
Was it weird to because I have never gone to
a festival and taken a blanket and laid down there
Because I just feel like people are walking all around
you like something.
Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
That's all what I thought. I didn't know we were
gonna be laying there.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
But then you find someone in a wheelchair like Graham did,
exploit them.
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Stand behind them the entire part. If you missed that,
go back in podcast This Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:15:29):
And this is one of the funniest moments of my
Bottlerock experience and probably very awkward for those people. My apologies,
all right, Uh, my picture is of myself swinging at
a whiffle ball because I spent hours and hours and
hours this weekend whacking it. We'd whacking, of course, to
(01:15:50):
mow down this entire field in our yard because it
was my nephew Bow's tenth birthday and he wanted to
play have a big whiffable game. So I built the
Field of Dreams and we had an eight on eight wiffle.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
Ball game and my team won with a walk off
home run.
Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
If you hit a home run into the vineyard right
there on that hillside, it was a home run.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
And I wish I could say I hit the walk
off home run. I didn't. I popped up. But the
guy after me hit a walk off and our team
versus kids, it wasn't the teams.
Speaker 5 (01:16:24):
We suggested that, but I even it out, put the
power hitters on, split them up. But the Field of Dreams,
you guys, it was a legendary game. We played a
full nine innings.
Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
Wow. I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:16:37):
My side has never been more sore from swinging a
wiffle ball bat, because it's a light bat and you're
just not used to making that many swings. I can
my oblique or whatever this thing is on my rib
k right here. I feel like I'm gonna die today.
Speaker 6 (01:16:50):
And jet I also witnessed some good baseball Sunday, you guys,
we were there for for the Giants game. It was
Star Wars Day.
Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
Still celebrating Ruben's day that day that was actually on
his birthday.
Speaker 6 (01:17:01):
We witnessed a Grand Slam and everything, damn. Also, what's
more millennial?
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Jean jacket or bucket hat?
Speaker 5 (01:17:08):
The bucket with jean jacket, Jean jacket, jean jacket.
Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
I still the bucket hat.
Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
I think they're back, They're for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
So you spent all weekend celebrating Uben's birthday. But all
did you do?
Speaker 6 (01:17:24):
We went to Sacramento. We were kind of all over
the place. We went to Sacramento. We did a wine
train out there.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
You guys.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
We didn't know what to expect, but it was actually
so fun.
Speaker 6 (01:17:34):
So they give you full on wine tasting, like a
full on wine tasting experience. But I loved the workers
there because they literally were like, if you like a wine,
let us know and we'll like come and pour you
a full glass.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
And usually at wine tastings that doesn't happen. Like usually
they're very like, oh.
Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
Yeah, here's a draw, here's a smell, and then a
tiny little bit.
Speaker 6 (01:17:54):
So at one point The manager was like, you know what,
I should be charging you guys for these drinks, but
open bar, open bar right now.
Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
And then it was it was so fun. They gave
us a charcoterie board.
Speaker 6 (01:18:06):
They gave us chocolate covered strawberries, and you get a
nice view of whatever is in Sacramento.
Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Cows grass, cows, lot of trees or some you know jackets.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
Just chi get some of that Sacramento wine. No wonder
they're giving you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
What's wrong with the wine train?
Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Expensive?
Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
It's a gondola naple.
Speaker 1 (01:18:28):
But that was so fun.
Speaker 6 (01:18:30):
We went to a river Cats game.
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
That was that was that was that?
Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Is that like a that's a.
Speaker 5 (01:18:38):
Share the same stadium as the Las Vegas as formerly

I'm about to remind him about the voucher. He was
reminded of it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:07):

Wow, people are already starting to leave their parenting hack
talk back.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
So earlier this morning, we talked about this new movie,
The bread Winner. It's coming out on fridaystar in Nate Bargatzi.
If you've ever seen his stand up amazing. If you
haven't seen it, go watch one of his specials on Netflix.
He's so so funny but family friendly movie coming out
this Friday, again called The bread Winner and in it.
Nate Bargatzi plays a dad who's sort of left at
home while his wife is on a business trip, and
(01:20:16):
it's just NonStop ularity as he attempts to manage his
three children.
Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
Apparently he's not home with them by himself very often.
Speaker 5 (01:20:23):
So I asked you to leave your very best parenting
hacks on our talkback Mike. You get a ten dollars
Fandango discount code just for doing so, and one lucky
person that enters on that talkback Mike is going to
get a one thousand dollars family night out at the movies.
But here are a couple of your favorite parenting.
Speaker 2 (01:20:40):
Hacks from earlier Good Morning JV show.
Speaker 15 (01:20:42):
This is Stephanie from Oakland, and a parenting hack.
Speaker 3 (01:20:45):
That I like to do is that I take my
kids to ride their bikes and scooties.
Speaker 15 (01:20:52):
Next are close to the local breweries, So after they've
ridden all day and they're all tired.
Speaker 14 (01:20:58):
Out, we go to the brewery and we.
Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
Have lunch and an adult beverage for mom. Anyway, haven't
ie day, guys by nice.
Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
Fully with that one. If you ever take your kids
to ride bikesaid neverbly.
Speaker 5 (01:21:10):
At some point they're gonna get mad at you because
they've fallen down or can't ride the thing they want, whatever,
it doesn't work, and they're gonna yell. You be within
one hundred yards of an adult beverage, you're gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:21:19):
Get smart a parenting heck I have. I've seen it
multiple times on TikTok is. Though my daughter is having
a tantrum or screaming, I yell, oh my god, here
comes and then I'll.
Speaker 14 (01:21:31):
Say a random.
Speaker 6 (01:21:32):
Person's name and show instantly stop.
Speaker 15 (01:21:35):
I'll be like, oh my god, here comes, yell, and
she'll just look at me like what.
Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
The hell, But yeah, that's my heck showed fully stop crying.
Speaker 6 (01:21:43):
And yeah, we'll be fine after Wait, jess you told
us about that hack before we're yelling out Jessica.
Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
Yeah, a lot of people are using the name Jessica there.
Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
Oh no, does that actually work?
Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
But for how long?
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
Because I feel like my kids would be like they
might stop for a second, but then just get right
back to tantruming.
Speaker 5 (01:21:59):
I mean, I've seen some of the those videos, and
I've tried it on my daughter, who is about to
be seven years old but still has many of those tantrums,
And it does, in fact, give them a good amount
of distraction at least for a while.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
You can.
Speaker 5 (01:22:10):
Sometimes all you need is that little bit and snap
them out of it, and then they start focusing on
something else.
Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
Jessica, Right, does it.
Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Have to be Jessica or could you say like Gertrude,
Like can you see other names?
Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Jessica works the best. Jessica. Yeah, Jessica's the new Karen
for the next generation. So they're very scared of Jessica's
arriving or arriving like out of the blue. You'd be terrified.
Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
Yeah, I continue to leave your best parenting hack talkbacks again.
Firste hundred people that do so going to get a
ten dollars Fandango discount cod and someone might win that
thousand dollars family night out at the movies and see
The bread Winner is going to be in theaters this Friday,
