Speaker 1 (00:00):
Go ahead, jets with your custom intro.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Yeah, wild Wild Wild, No, because it's wold Wild Thoughts
because somebody want liked it when we used to open
it that way. Yeah, so this is Wild Thoughts.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
We have an official intro, wilt like this is so
JANKI we don't have a fucking intro.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, but we've never wanted to bring attention to this
podcast because then the bosses, Oh, you want us to
produce an intro for this, I better listen to it,
and then they listen to it, and then we all
get fired. Can I start today's Wild Thoughts podcast with
a major injury concern you guys? Yeah, see see this
band aid on my finger? No, I cut myself. I
sliced my finger open on a piece of rusty metal
(00:35):
the other day. And here's I have two concernsnus. One tetanus.
When's the last time you guys got your teennis shot?
Never me, neither the last two times I've gone to
the doctor, And I've only gone to the doctor twice
in the last fifteen years. That one time, many many
years ago, they're like, oh, you're due for your tetanus
booster or whatever, and then they went back to get
(00:55):
it like, we're all out, you have to come back
another time. And I'm like, why only go the doctor
once every fifteen years? So I won't do that. And
then this pass long and then I went for a
physical last year and the same fucking thing happened. Oh,
you're due for your technis shot. I'm like, that's great.
I do a lot of construction. I step on rusty
nails and get cut on stuff all the time, and
they're like, let me go, let me go get that
(01:16):
for you, and they come back in we're actually all out.
You're gonna have to schedule to make another appointment. And
I was like, well, I'm not gonna do that because
I want to go the doctor once or fifteen years.
But then I sliced my finger, actually needed deep on
a piece of rusty metal. Concern level that I should
have right now?
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Scale what are you building? Like?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
What unless you just have rusty metal line around your house,
which I feel like you probably do.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Okay, so I do have a lot of rusty metal.
I was digging through a bin of different fittings for
some gas pipeline and stuff, and there's some metal strapping.
I think that's what cut my hand. I don't actually know,
because it was one of those ones where I'm like,
why am I bleeding? And uh there was a huge
gash from my finger.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
The four out of ten, Yeah that's your concern.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Okay, so not high.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
I'm going seven.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I put some Neil Sport on it. But then I
google does Neil Sporn kill tetanus? And the answer is no,
Just FYI for everybody that's wondered about that, it doesn't.
And the reason I'm concerned not about the tetanus because
at Herbert Camp it's Herbert Camp season right now, and
you guys know, I've been training for a can Jam tournament.
It's a frisbee game. And that's my fucking frisbee finger.
(02:19):
Look at it. How am I supposed to gip a
finger if I got a Bloodyns stump?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Well, now you have to start practicing with your.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Left Nobody can throw a frisbee opposite hand.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
In that I can't.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
You can.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I mean some people can.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I couldn't do that.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
If you started practicing now you might be able to Not.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
For money, are kidding me? I'm leaving for Herbert Camp tomorrow,
you guys?
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Oh wait?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Was I was not supposed to say that.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yeah, no, I don't think you were.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
When are you leaving on your trips LT.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Well after the show though, we're doing tomorrow's show, right
of course. Then after the show, I'm going to Herbert Camp.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, so you're not going to practice with your left hand.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
No, there's no time, like, are you leaving?
Speaker 1 (02:53):
When are you leaving on on your trip? Oh, my
trip to outsideleinsp.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
So you'll be doing the show, Well we're out obviously
I'll be year live, got it and in person?
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Anyways, well, anyways, I think you gotta go get that.
Wh wouldn't you just go to like urgent care or something.
There's no, it's like nothing to play around about.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I've been too busy getting all the stuff ready for
herber Camp. The drink order went in yesterday. You guys.
My buddy that works at a bar, he he always
puts the order in. Okay, let Now, there was a
lot of chatter this year about because normally we get
in an absurd amount, like a palette of white Claws
and then also a ton of beers cores lights, the
official beer of Herbert Camp. By the way, Really, it's
(03:32):
a spout where you go camping, a lot of cores lights,
get drink up there. Uh, here's the order six. Maybe
get a calculator out so I can get total can,
total can quantity. When you guys, got a calculator ready, yep? Okay,
six cases of corps Light. That's twenty four cans each,
twenty four Okay, write that down. Six cases of White
(03:55):
Clawska twenty four times, oh, twenty four packs. Yeah, they're
twenty four a case, twenty four in this case. And
you got six yeah, six cases of high Noons. This
is a new entrant into okay a lot. Somebody requested
high noons. So we got six cases of those six
times twenty four there, and then a very very new
(04:17):
contender in this year's drinking. Four cases of surf side side?
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Is that that guy's drink?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Who?
Speaker 2 (04:27):
What? Guys? Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Why did I think it was like the reality?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
That's lover boy Kyle?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Oh yeah, that's I don't why I was thinking that.
What the surf side.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Surf Side's like, Uh, it's not carbonated and it's more
like almost like a hard tea. But I've never had one.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I've seen him for sure.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Blow it up right now, have you guys.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Have you guys had v mcs. Oh yeah, they're so good.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
That's Oh should I add yeah, drink late, drink? What's
the total? Can't quantity there?
Speaker 1 (04:57):
I lost the third one. That was four.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
You said, uh, six, six, six and then four. So
six times twenty four plus six times twenty four plus
six times twenty four plus four times twenty four. I
don't actually do that equation like that, but you know
what I mean, because that would get you a bigger
n up. You get the calculator, Do I need to
(05:22):
not take this long? Six times twenty four? Well times
three four hundred and thirty two sakes.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Seventy two seventy two.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I got six, and then I got four times twenty
four ninety six plus four thirty two. I come up
with five hundred and twenty eight, all right, five hundred
and twenty eight cans of beverages.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Five hundred twenty eight.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
And then there's let's just say there's seven of there's
eight at sometimes nine at sometimes, but let's just say
there's seven people that are drinking over three days, five
hundred twenty eight times seven, that's seventy five cans of beverage.
A man divide by three days is twenty five a day.
That's nothing.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
And what was the total number? Again? Right?
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Just said five hundred something I already forgot five twenty eight? Yeah,
was that what it was?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
So five five plus wait, eight plus two ten plus five?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
What equation is she doing now?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
It wasn't five twenty eight? Sure, I don't know how
to do it again, Okay, So.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Four thirty two plus ninety six, yeah, five twenty eight,
five hundred twenty.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Five twenty eight eight plus two ten plus five fifteen
five plus one is six. And so six I'm trying
to see what, like the six is like the number manufacture.
This is Herbert Camp in the neurology, So six is
like the number. I looked it up to see what
six represents? Unconditional love?
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Okay, can you and the bra It is unconditional brother
leave up there, yeah, nurture sometimes we fight up there, But.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Deep responsibility toward family and community.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Not really that for Herbert Camp. Okay, yeah's good, all right,
So that's exciting. Five hundred So I I just got
to drink twenty five beverages a day. That's just daytime.
All those can stuffing for daytime drinking and then evening
transitions to cocktails, and we have a lot of bottles
of whiskey and stuff, and a bunch of shrooms and
(07:12):
a bunch.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Of Oh my god, You're gonna die, and.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
A bunch of THHD drinks as well. I bought a
ton of those the other day, Sele, the ones that
can one c ann I love those ones. I stacked
with you. What are you talking about? This is Herbercamps.
What we do. Oh my god, having an awesome time
ever river rafting and playing games for money.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
No part of you. It's like scared.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Like if I was going on trip and now was
like all that and I'm like expected to partake, like
I just I would ship myself.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
You would have the most fun you've ever know.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
I might not make it.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Well, you might ship yourself going down the rapids because
they're pretty big rapids. Rafting, that part's a little scary.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
And my buddy, stay in the water if you have to.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
My buddy Nate did one. You know, he took a
river shit and you call it nature's bidet. He's like,
you just let the rapids just you know.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
That's just so. He just like sat over the edge
of the raft.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I think it was like in the water, or maybe
it was like a squat situation, some shower water and
then like obviously you just get in the rapids and
let the flow of the water take care of the cleaning.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
That's disgusting.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Whatever it is, there's a lot of weird stuff happened
on the Herbert Camp trip. That's a weird stuff. Yeah,
Bogelo Joe's probably very anxiously awaiting our arrival. If you
don't know, he's the mythical guy that lives in the
bottom of the outhouse, waiting to pull you down while
you're city on there. Speaking of outhouses, now, look, I
have this story in full Herbert Camp recap coming next week,
(08:39):
but all the makings for a legendary trip. I can't
fucking wait. I'm so excited. But listen to this. This
This happened a couple of weeks ago during uh I
think it was during one of the World Cup games.
There was a big World Cup watch party in Kansas
City and as police officers, you know, work to clear
the crowd once the game was over. There walking through
the area with all the porter parties, knocking out all
(08:59):
the doors and make sure everybody knows like it's time
to go. Everybody's leaving there, kicking everybody out, and one
of the doors was locked, and apparently, according to other people,
there had been locked the entire day. So they're like,
this is weird, like somebody in there. And when they
opened it up, they found, yes, there was somebody in there.
He was down in the tank of the porta potty. Now, look,
(09:21):
we've talked about people retrieving like cell phones or sunglasses
and stuff and then falling into the toilet tanks. Those
are more like national parks where those are called vault toilets,
where it's almost like an outius like where you could
really fall down a distance, you know, and then they
get trapped down there like you know, some feet below.
This was in a porta potty where we've all used
(09:43):
a regular porta potty and the tank is only about,
I don't know, two and a half feet deep or whatever.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
How you fit through the toilet hole.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
I don't know. But this guy, I wait to hear
what he was going after. It was not a cell phone,
who was not as expensive sunglasses? He dropped his mountain
dew in there, there's no and he fell into the
tank of the toilet and he was in there for
trapped in there for eight hours?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Why would you try to get that back?
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Eight hours? Eight hours? He was in there again, you're
swimming because that tank is completely full usually particularly after
a full day of festivities at the World Cup there
and he was in there for eight hours, all going
after a mountain dew.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Did he get the mountain dew back?
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yes? He did. He got the mountain Did.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
He drink it while he was down there?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
For firefighters had to hose this guy off. Oh my god,
he was completely covered. Don't know if this person was
going through other some other mental issues or not, but
he was in there for eight hours after a mountain dew.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
I'm sorry, but if that was me, I would just
I would just accept that that's how I'm gonna go,
and I'd let myself.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Just just like and just bubble down.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
That means it would have to go in your mouth.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
That's all right at that point, it's it's in everywhere else.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I don't want to face the world after something like that.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
No, you can't, particularly when the story comes out that
you were going after a soda like it's one thing
that dropped your wedding ring in there, and you're like,
I fell in because I was going after my wedding ring.
But like when you tell people that you're going after
a Baha blast.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Like, well, was it about? Was it a Baha blast
which is a regular mountain to do?
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I think it was just regular mountain. Yeah, you would
for a Baha blast or a code red code red
stile thing.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
But the Baja blast freeze that taco bell, yeah, where
it's like slushy version of Baha blast.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I haven't tried that.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
So good?
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Pretty good? Is it purple?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
It's the same Baha blast color like that bright color?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Oh the bright yeah, yeah, I seen the purple one. Anyway, anyways,
that's your story right there. Eight hours in a porta
potty tank and is so bogolo. Joe doesn't get me
and pull me down?
Speaker 1 (11:43):
What are we speaking of? Ship?
Speaker 3 (11:44):
What are we going to do about this explosive diarrhea
of parasite? Like, I just I cannot get this.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
It's living its best life. It's gonna be going all
summer long. Just buckle up.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
It's not going in well, like I'm like, I this
would be like life ruiner. I don't want this. Wait, Selena,
where's your trip Cancun?
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Oh? Look at you? One nice trip? But also yeah,
this is.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
But wasn't it concerning before the explosive diarrhea of parasite?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
I mean you already have to be careful. Yeah, double
wham in Mexico?
Speaker 1 (12:15):
But now is it is the parasite in Mexico.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
That's where the lesson is being grown.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah, but they were only there then they were shipping
it out here.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, but we haven't heard.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Of explosive parasite diary. We haven't heard of this ship
happening in Cancun.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Well, we don't track those cases there because it happens
to white people all over the place that are visited there.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
And you know it's summer, so people have been traveling there.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Alt oh big time. Yeah, people from Michigan have obviously
visited there and brought it there and then saw some
of the lettuce at the buffet at the hotel that
you're going to. What hotel you're going to?
Speaker 1 (12:47):
I don't even know, but it says here.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Are you bringing your kids on this trip?
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Fuck? No?
Speaker 1 (12:52):
The fuck? What do you think this is?
Speaker 2 (12:54):
I don't know. I'm just asking. I know if it
was like a family vaca.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Can wait for your kids to hear this podcast?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, this is our annual husband's birthday trip.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Oh no, kids allowed? Look at you?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
When did we already miss your husband's birthday?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
No, it's coming up this weekend.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Actually, oh cool. Yeah, that can't com voucher you guys. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Anyways, I looked it up. It is the explosive diarrhea
pairs that in Cancun, and it said yes, health agencies
have reported a sharp rise and travel related cyclo sport infections.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Oh my god, but it's probably people.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
From fucking Michigan traveling there. And then they realize, oh
my god, I think I have it in there in Cancun.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
I think I got the cyclone one time in porto Arta.
I've never been that. That was one of the worst
sicknesses I've ever came home and the next in the
next week, I was it was explosive. It just didn't
have a name back then. I just like fought my
way through it.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
This is so bad.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I think it was the bacon wrap.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Street meet that I Oh, but that's so good.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
It was so good until you have explosive diarrhea for
the next week and you're laying on the bathroom floor defeated.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
If that does happen to us, are we still expected
to come into work?
Speaker 2 (14:04):
No days offer on here, I mean other than the
days off that we're taking this week to go on
these trips. What's the diarrhea? No sick days. I've never
used a single one. You should see how many I
have in my workday.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Like in thousands, so many.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
All right, let's get out of here, all right, we
gotta go. Bye.
