Speaker 5 (01:53):
My family on part of the thirteenth. It applies to
all of us. None of us can wear block off,
any of us wear black at all. Something will always
happen to one of us. I feel like that always happened.
When I was in the seventh grade, somebody on my
family wore black on Friday the thirteenth, and I broke

(02:13):
my finger that day.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh my god, not the finger, not the finger. Whay law,
all right, let's keep it going, chili.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
But one of my superstitions that I actually still have
is breaking a mirror.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, that's a good one. We know that one.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
I am one of.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Those people who when I drive, either around a lake
or over a bridge, I pulled my windows down.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I always have.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I just I always feel.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Like, if anything would ever happened, I want my windows
down so that I can easily get out.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Okay, decent baby soups.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Right in.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
You Know.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
The thing about superstitions is I find that it's always something.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
That stems from childhood. Like the girl with the finger.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
The bird pooped on me at my high school graduation
while we were standing outside lining up. I mean, I
guess I have a good job now, so I guess
it gave me luck for college. In the future. But
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
There we go. I don't mind it, baby, right in.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
All right, we got time for a few more. Let's
see what else we have. Now we already heard from you.
Thank you for the talk back. What else at least
one more a bird? No, we just heard from you.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Come on.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
My weird superstition is I can't cross the day off
on the calendar until the next day. I feel like
if I crossed today off on the calendar before it's over,
I'll die.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Wow, a little morbid, but Bob superstiss Right, good morning.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
You're waking up with Tip in the Morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. We're talking about superstitions. Obviously, with
it being Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
I just want you to know that all three of
my children were born on the thirteenth. My son was
a Friday the thirteenth, and it's a lucky day for me.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Heck yeah, break in, break in the superstition, break in
the tradition. I'm sorry, breaking the superstition and creating the tradition.
Serio right, all right, good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Thanks for stopping by Sip in the morning.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Okay, So my dad obviously he passed back in twenty thirteen.
But he was a huge Bengals fan his whole life.
And back when Carson Palmer and then one the playoff game,
he was eating chicken wings and he decided that those
chicken wings were lucky said, he deep boned them, dried them,
painted black and orange stripes, and he threw them in
front of the TV after everything, before every game.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
You have loose old chicken wings that you've hung on
literally eight years.

Speaker 6 (05:11):
Oh my god, Like I wish I had them, truly,
but I don't. Kind of not sad about it. Yeah,
but yeah, so so his chicken bones were those were
his thing, and I was and then I mean on
top of like the clothes and everybody else's weird traditions. Yes,
but yeah, so if they were losing, he'd make me
leave the room.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
So that is funny. What's your name? What neighborhood you
call me from?

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Misty from New Richmond.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Thank you for the call, Missy. I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Girl. A lot of the superstitions I've heard on the
show this morning all kind of stem from childhood or
something Bangles related. Speaking of, I have a poll on
our stories right now, do you think that Taylor Swift
will be at the.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Game this weekend. Yes or no? At Kiss one oh
