Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Kiss solo is the keyword. You'll need that for a
Paara Cyclones tickets. Have you gone to a game yet?
I'm a wicked big fan of hockey.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
And speaking of hockey, I went to the NHL Stadium
Series on Saturday night and I went by myself. Now,
if you're a visual person at the Tiff two f's
potter like the wizard, because there's some like intricate details
and tips on my recommendations on how to do things
solo and a sporting event is a great way to
(00:34):
get your feet wet in the experience. Now, for some
you're like, dude, Tiff, this is my life. I do
this all the time. But for some for others it's like,
whoa wait a minute, have you ever driven like four
hours for forty five minutes or does that sound completely
ridiculous to you? I know typically it would be ridiculous
for me too, And it all ties together. I had
(00:56):
tickets to this game. If you don't know what the
NHL Stadium Series is. The Columbus Blue Jackets played the
Detroit Red Wings outside at OSU at Buckeye Stadium, So
they built the rink inside the football stadium, which oh
my god, that stadium is so big. It is a
war to fight find your seat. It's so much, so
much effort. And I really really wanted to go because
(01:18):
I'm a big fan, and.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
I it's not that I just I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I found out last minute that I was going, and
I didn't put the time and energy into finding someone
to go with.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
I had asked a few people and it just didn't
work out.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
And I said, well, I can either miss this or
I could drive the four hours for the forty five
minutes and say I did it and experience it. And
I'm telling you, like almost ten out of ten times,
that's the ladder. It's always worth it, especially when you're
by yourself. If you've never tried solo events, I highly
(01:50):
recommend a sporting event. And you know the Reds are
gonna be in Tound soon enough. You know, ECHL hockey
game for the.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Cyclones a great experience. It's such a.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Cool way to test out the theory and to test
out your bandwidth with it and whether or not you
like it or you don't. So it was, like I said,
the four hours to get up there you know, almost
two hours to get to Columbus. Traffic at OSU is
a nightmare. Then you got to take a shuttle bus,
and then you have to have a very healthy pair
of walking shoes on, because wherever you enter the stadium,
(02:21):
it's going to take you about six hours to get
to your seat, because that's how big the place is.
Once I finally did that, and I sat down in
my seat and I watched a period of hockey and
then a performance from twenty one pilots, you know Columbus natives.
We love top here in Cincy as well. Watched them perform,
watched a little bit more hockey. I said to myself,
(02:43):
I'm good. I saw it, I did it, I experienced it.
I spent the time with myself. I'm good to go
and in and reverse the entire process to get home.
Took walked out of the stadium, got to the shuttle bus,
walked to the car, drove the.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Two hours back, and I'm so happy I did it.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
If I can, iily encourage you to try on doing
something alone.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Hear it out of my mouth. You got this.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
And one of the tips that I posted on social
media is I didn't talk to anyone, which is kind
of a new thing for me. Usually when I go somewhere,
I always spark up a conversation with someone, and I didn't.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I just observed.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I just observed myself, what I felt, what I was
going through, observed what was around me, and I just
spent the time with myself. And I can, like I said,
I cannot recommend it enough. And if you can take
the expectation off of being solo and what the outcome
is supposed to be. Like for instance, if I had
gone with someone, it would be like, O, hey, what
(03:41):
time do you want to leave? You know, do you
want to stay for the whole game? Are you hungry?
Where should we part? All this conversation that we have
to have, you get rid of that and you take
the expectation off. You allow yourself to live in the
moment and be spontaneous, And there is nothing more satisfying
than trying that on all. Right, Like I said, if
you're a visual person at the TI to F's Potter
like the Wizard, it's the top thing in my story.
(04:03):
If you're hungry for a little bit more. In the meantime,
speaking of hockey, solo is the keyword you're gonna need
for a pair.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Of tickets to the Cyclones game. I've got that for
you coming up in a few don't go far. You're
waking up with Tiff in the morning on KI Good morning.
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
So congratulations you got the keyword and your collar ten gal. Awesome,
you're going to the Cyclones.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
That awesome?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
What a joyful energy you have on a Monday morning.
What is your name? What neighborhood are you listening to
me in?
Speaker 3 (04:40):
My name is Let's Hunter. I'm from a town formerly
known as Amelia in Ohio.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
My gal, Well, thank thank you for waking up with
Tiff in the morning. Awesome, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
This is exciting.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
So we were just chit chatting about going solo and stuff.
Have you done things on your own before? Would you
do it?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
What's your thoughts? Give me your take?
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yes, I have. I actually a couple of years ago
went to the post Alone concert at Riverbend by myself.
None of my friends that also liked Posty was they
weren't able to go, and so I just was like,
I really want to stay up, and I went and
saw them, and I really enjoyed it. The crowd was awesome.
The people that were next to me were super nice,
(05:23):
so it was an awesome experience.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
So if someone right now is listening, because you heard
it out of my mouth a million times, but a
summer right now was listening and they were like, oh, man,
I don't know you would What advice would you give them.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
To do it? Like, you don't need somebody else to
go with you to have fun, and you could meet
cool people along the way, so it'd be worth it.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I love that Lex. We'll leave it there for now, Okay,
I appreciate you. If you took an ell on these
hockey tickets, I'll have you again tomorrow at eight thirty.
If you want to set a reminder, speaking of that
post Malone show, if you went to that River Bend show,
you remember him saying this, thank you for this beautiful,
this beautiful God's Team shirt from my day's.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Post.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
He got booed because he brought a cow with some
of him got him a Cowboys jersey and he said.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
That in the wrong place.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
All right.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
In the meantime, we're still commercial free. Good morning,
