Speaker 1 (00:01):
That right.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Sorry, we're getting organized here. Hi, good morning, Good morning.
Second time for Sarah on my show today, remember a
good reason. Have you ever had a bizarre Uber experience?
And not to say that this is bizarre, but when
I when Sarah was telling me about it this morning,
I was like, how is it that on a thirty
degree day actually was less than thirty degrees.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
It was in the twenties yesterday, okay, and this was dark.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
It was dark out and it was less than thirty
degrees and your Uber delivery delivered your meal on what.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Well, First of all, the order was delayed by an hour,
so I kept getting updates that I was getting a
new driver, and they're like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Sorry, this delivery was delayed. Okay.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
So then the final message comes through, We've found your driver.
Her name is Taja.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Taja is on a bicycle.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
So with my little Chipotle taco I got one taco
in a bag of chips. Okay, I needed something crunchyt
a munch on during the oscars whatever. This thing showed
up so soggy, so cold, and by this point it
wasn't even Chipotle. But it's so good that I don't
even mind that I've paid for it, because now I
can finally say that I've had an Uber Eats delivery
(01:21):
by a bicycle person.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Shout out to Taja, who shaid t Tasa, Tasa. Of
course it was a woman.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Of course, a woman was like, listen, well, you know
we're gonna get you your meal. We're gonna get me.
It's been a war. You've been waiting over an hour
for a damn taco. You know, on my bicycle. It's
thirty degrees it's dark out in Covington, and I'm going
to ride this taco to your house on my bike.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
It's so accurate. Yeah, shout out Taja if you're listening. Yeah,
it was the house in Covington. My husband and I
we went outside for like, thank you for still showing
up with this taco on your bike. I mean, it's
absolutely amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, I don't think a dude would do this.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
So yeah, five went three seven, four one o seven one.
Have you two ever had an interesting Uber experience?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Maybe it was a bicycle a b cle Ooh, I
love that song. It could be eight am or eight pm.
You never know.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
When you wake up with tiff in the morning, when
you hear music like that, you know you're listening to
Kiss one O seven to one.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
All right, coming up in a few minutes.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I have a pair of tickets for you to go
to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra tomorrow night, So do not
go far. We're in the midst of talking about your
uber or uber eats experiences, and we'll start with our talks.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
During the pandemic, I got kind of addicted ordering things,
so now like I just refuse to make myself dinner.
So Uber eat is that making me go broke right now?
And I can't stop?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
I get that.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Rachel, You can also leave me talk back with Tiff.
In the top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.
That little microphone is there, and you just hold that down.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
The reason why.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
We're talking about it if you're just walking into this conversation.
Sarah Elie told me that on Sunday night, she had
ordered Uber Eats, which was delayed a bunch of times
from Chipotle, and they finally just put the delivery driver
on a bicycle and this woman Tasha shout out to
Taja on the bicycle just trucking it through Covington to
get her this taco and chips.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
So I ended up driving my ex's mom once and
she talked to me the entire time about how her
son is engaged now he's doing so well since we
broke up. As soon as she got out of the car,
I just started crying and she didn't even tip me.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
What what a beotch?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh, shout out to you, girl, you know, shout out
to the Uber drivers that get me home. They see
actually Uber drivers see you at your absolute best and
your absolute worst, depending on what time of night it is. Oh.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
One time I was driving Uber and I picked up
my mom.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
That's sweet. Yes, I love that for you.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Okay, all right, let's leave it there for now, and
if you can give me three minutes, I have your
chance to win tickets to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra tomorrow
night with the keyword uber.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Don't go far. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning.
One seven one, good morning. Go ahead and start dialing.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I feel bad because I didn't give the keyword multiple
times this morning, so I'll just say it right now.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
You caught me in a lucky day. It was uber.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Uber is the keyword if you want to go to
Cso tomorrow night, I've got tickets for you. I love
the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. I'm going to be there as well.
But and I realized too, like because of my lifestyle,
I can do things last minute, and I know that
that's not always the case for everyone listening. So these
tickets are for tomorrow night. If you're single or solo
(04:47):
like myself, I probably plan on going alone. But if
you've got a friend or a neighbor, or maybe you
just want a little midweek adventure five one three seven
four nine one oh seven one. Again, these tickets are
for tomorrow, So if you can get out there, I
love to see you there.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Go ahead and start dialing.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I'm now reflecting on the piece of conversation we were
just in the midst of, you know, chatting about uber
and such, and one of our listeners said, during the
pandemic and became addicted to uber eats and ordered it
all the time, and.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I've just kind of kept that behavior up.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Then it had my brain going down, the fact that
this was the last normal week of our lives five
years ago, right before the pandemic came. I don't want
to trigger you, but can you just put yourself back
in that moment five years ago, half a.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Decade ago is when the pandemic Like, does that not?
Does that not seem wild to you? Man?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
So much has changed. You and I have both grown
a tremendous amount. The world has shifted and changed.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
What a time.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
But that was already five years ago. This was the
last normal week of our lives as we knew it.
M All right, Well, I got one more up in
phone nine again if you want to go to CSO
tomorrow night. That stands for Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, just in
case you didn't know. Five one three seven four nine
one o seven one. Good luck. In the meantime, we're
still commercial free with such an iconic pop song.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
And joy you're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on just one O seven one.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Hi, good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword for me. Uber, Congratulations,
you're collared? Ten you got yourself some tickets for tomorrow night?
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Oh my god, yay, yay, my god. What's your name?
What neighborhood? Are you waking up with? Me?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
In lame and Miranda and I am in he bringing
tacky Mirianda?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
You uh, you're going to the CSO tomorrow night.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
You I'm glad that you were able to squeeze it
in last minute, like myself me too.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
I appreciate you waking up with Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Every day I'm pumped.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I've been trying to win something for like a week
or two.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Now, well look at that, You've got yourself a lucky
week or two. I appreciate you. I'm gonna put you
on hold. I'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Okay, I thank you. End If you know, you know
where was I going with this?
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, sometimes my show has stuff for like way in
advance right this summer. If I give out something to riverbend,
et cetera, and then sometimes I give stuff away very
last minute. It's a goal of mine, something that I
came across in the last maybe two years of my life,
to be spontaneous and to just try to be present
in the moment, take things as it they come. And
(07:27):
I understand that that's a lifestyle right that I'm afforded
to live, you know, without having a partner or a
kid or a family or anything like that that lives
in Sincy. So I get that, but I also believe
that sometimes it's a choice that I make as well.
So if you're if that resonates with you or you
feel inspired and you're like you know what, yeah, you
know what, hell yeah, hell yeah. Just know that I'll
(07:47):
have another pair of tickets for you tomorrow for the
event tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Okay. In the meantime, we're still commercial, We're re free.
Good morning, Miranda,
