Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Jibil Show on demand. It's time War of the
Roses only on the Jebil Show. Time for War of
the Roses to catch a cheater. Dave is on the phone.
He's been with his girlfriend Janelle for about two years,
but now because of a family trip. I guess he
thinks that his girlfriend might be cheating on him. Dave,
thank you for your email. It always is a terrible

(00:22):
thing to have to come on the show like this,
unless you find out they're not cheating, and then hey,
that's a nice surprise. But to even be skeptical enough
to email us to find out if your girlfriend is
cheating has to not be very fun for you. But
tell us about the situation going on. Why do you
think Janelle's cheating? Well, you know, I wasn't suspicious. She
had gone out of town for a weekend, and she's

(00:45):
usually very chatty when it comes to text messaging. In
this particular weekend, she didn't text at all. She was
kind of ghost to me. And then when she did text,
instead of her normal regular hey and long text, it
was like one word answers and stuff. But I wish
she may be annoyed or something that you that weekend.
M No, I didn't leave anything like that. So I

(01:05):
don't know why she would be annoyed with me. Okay,
because if you guys, like you know, we say you
were arguing before she left town, I guess see how
you'd be getting one worded answered and like vague responses,
you know what I mean. Yeah, so you so it
wasn't like that though, No, No, it's just like I
text or something to be like okay, typical guy answers,

(01:26):
you know what I mean? Okay, all right, So why
else do you think then that so other than you know,
the way that she was texting you, that could have
been anything, why do you think she's Why do you
think that she cheated on you on that trip? So
my buddy, who the world is a small place. My
buddy swears up and down that he saw her with

(01:47):
another guy. What And he texts me and I'm like,
no way. She's out with her family this weekend. So
that led me kind of to think that, yeah, I mean,
and then I'm like, I asked her family, I asked
her brother. Well, they got back in town and they
swear up and down, you know, nothing, nothing was going on.
I mean that kind of tiptoe around asking him the question, like,

(02:09):
you know, how was the weekend? Does she hang with
anybody else? No? No, no, you know that kind of thing.
So she didn't really have an answer for you. But
your buddy said that he saw her with another guy. Yep,
My buddies are pretty reliable source. So so so you
you asked her about it when she got back like
um or you didn't. You haven't asked her directly. You
just have tried to figure out if if she gets

(02:29):
she would slip up somewhere, if she was out with
somebody or something. Yeah, I was. I just simply said,
how was your weekend? Did you hang with anybody? Knows
you running to anybody? No? No, I didn't run into anybody.
You know. I was curious about the text message, she says.
You know, I was just busy, and I'm like, okay,
So it just it just didn't add up to me,
that's all I guess. I'm assuming you don't have her location. No, no, no,

(02:53):
we don't do that. So you think that she just
didn't go with her family and that she just stayed
with some dude for the weekend. My thing it was
it might have been the other boats I don't know
if the family knew she was out with this person
or I mean it was my buddy said it was
this bar swears up and down that saw her with

(03:15):
another guy. Did you get a picture? No, he's he
believes the old flip, he's yeah, oh my reasons like
this real? How do you not get a picture to
be able to show you? How does your friend as seriously? Yeah,
I don't know. We all give me four. All right, Well,

(03:36):
so what grocery store does she shop at? Or where's
she a rewards card? Remember? Yeah, she shops down? Okay, cool?
All right, well then we'll do the use everybody's rewards
cardmember everywhere, so it's really easy to do. So it
is the usual. But we'll call her up and say
that we choose one random rewards cardmember every single month
to give a free bouquet of flowers too, and she's

(03:57):
this month's winner. So she's got thirty six long stem
red roses to say to somebody and see if she
sends them to you or to someone else. Okay, sounds good,
Thank you guys. All right, man, well play a song,
come back and get your war the rose to get
a cheater next, right, in the middle of ward the
roses to catch a cheater if you're just joining us.
Dave is on the phone and he thinks that his
girlfriend of two years, Janelle, might have cheated on him

(04:17):
or still be cheating on him, but definitely something weird
happened when she went out of town on a family trip.
Apparently they text a lot, or she texts a lot.
When she was on the trip, she was barely responsive
and didn't text very much at all. On top of that,
Dave got a text from his friend who lives in
the same area saying that he thinks he saw her
out with another dude. Unfortunately, Dave's friend wasn't able to

(04:38):
get a picture. Why is that because he has he
doesn't even have a regular phone. Yeah. I don't even
know how you meet anybody with a flip phone anymore. Dave,
have you got if you've known this guy forever? Or
did you meet him? Yeah? Neither did I I don't know, man,
I give him who knows? Yeah? I know? Seriously, either way,

(05:00):
he couldn't get a picture because he doesn't have a
phone that is capable of that weird, But Dave is
pretty sure he's just got a feeling that something did happen.
So we're about to call his girlfriend, Janelle from the
grocery store she shops at, and say that every single month,
we choose one random Rewards Card member to send to
offer a free bouquet of flowers to have delivered to
anybody in the United States for free. See, we'll see

(05:21):
if she sends the flowers to Dave or gives us
somebody else's name, and then we'll know if if she
did cheat or is cheating. All right, Dave, are you ready?
I'm ready? All right, here we go call her right now. Hello.

(05:47):
Is this Janelle? Yes, you may Janelle. This is Gafar
from and you are this month's Winter Congratulations. Oh okay,
thank you? Sorry, what is it for. I'm calling to
let you know that you are this month's winner and
give you a big old congrats and say thank you

(06:09):
for shopping. Oh okay, I don't really know what that means.
That sounds cool. Well if you don't know what it means,
then let me clarify for you. Every single month, we
choose one random Rewards Card remember to call up and
say congratulations and say thank you for shopping. We appreciate
your business. And you've won thirty six long stem red
roses from from our floral department to deliver to anybody

(06:30):
in the country. Just free flowers. It's an eighty nine
dollars value. Okay, thank you. Yeah, and nobody told you
that at the checkout stand last time You're in No,
I feel like I would have remembered that. I don't know.
Thank you for shopping, Thank you for being a Rewards
card member. All I need from you is just some

(06:50):
simple information and we can send the flowers out. If
you don't know who you want to send them to
right now, I can email you a link to a
very long form that takes about thirty minutes to fill
out and after that you'll get a bunch of spam.
Or I can do the information right now over the phone.
It will take just a couple of minutes. I just
need like three or four things, and again it cost
you absolutely nothing. Okay, sounds like a good deal. Do

(07:12):
you know who you want to send them to right now?
Or do you want to fill out the really long form?
Oh no, I guess we can just do it now. Okay.
So in that case, then all I'm gonna eat is
a name first and last who you want to send
them to, anything you want to put on a card,
and then the address and we will be good to go.
I get you confirmed in everything. Okay, um uh okay.

(07:35):
So the name is Ricky? Are you Are you serious? Oh?
All right? It's David who you're sending rosester? Ricky? Why
are you want to I don't know what's going on.
We were trying to say thank you for shopping, but

(07:56):
it sounds like we're saying thank you for cheating because
this is actually shading. Yeah, this is a jewel show.
It's a radio jewels Alex. I'm Christian Gray Snow And
that's your boyfriend Dave who's on the phone. You thought
maybe you were cheating on him, and um, Dave, go
ahead and take it away. You're already doing it anyway.
So I knew it. I knew it. You went away
for the weekend. You probably met this fast if that's

(08:17):
the guy that my buddy said you're with, and now
you're sending them roses? That long has that been going on?
We've been together for two years? Wait, what is going
on right now? Why are you on the phone? But
why are you why are you making up its about
sending flowers. I'm so confused. I make nothing up. I
called them up to help me up because I suspected

(08:38):
you of cheating, and now you pretty much admitted it.
You're sending You're sending long stemm roses to Ricky. Who
to hell's Ricky? This is so creepy. I still I'm
still trying to figure out why you're on the phone,
why this grocery store christ is on the phone, like
your boyfriend, figure out why you're cheating on him? Yep,
that part, yeah right, yeah, yeah, yeah, that part. It

(09:00):
really is nothing. It's nothing. So you go out of town,
you barely talk to me or text me. Then the
next thing I know, my buddy says he sees you.
It's another guy. And now you're sending roses to Ricky.
You've been busted, cheated, you were cheating? God? Yeah, why
don't you just leave it? What do you have to

(09:20):
say for yourself? I mean, dave it. It only happened
like one time, I really don't one time too many? Yeah,
why are you cheating? That's one time too many for me.
You need to come and get it out. That's it. Wow,
I'm done. I don't blame you. It's never gonna happen again. Never,

(09:41):
I promise Wright, It's never going to happen again. We're done,
We're done, finished. Oh my god. Yeah, you should thought
about that before you cheated. Can we maybe talk about
it later? What's there to talk about? You went out
on the weekend with this guy and now you're sending

(10:02):
the roses and he doesn't want to be cheated on again.
What kind of person does that? I don't know what
there is to talk about. You cheated, only point blank,
if you want to talk to somebody, talk to fucking Ricky.
I'm done. I don't know what else to say. You've
said enough. The Jewels Show on demand
