Speaker 2 (00:05):
Amelia is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and she's been with her boyfriend Deshaun for eight
months now and she already thinks something is going on.
So we'll see if we canna help her out. Amelia, sorry,
you have to come on the show like this, But
what's up? Why do you think Deshaun is cheating?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
He's he's just been acting differently lately, like he's he's
not been.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Really affectionate, and when I do talk to him, he's
he just kind of ignores me, and he seems really annoyed.
So I don't know. I don't know what's going on.
It feels like something something happened, something changed.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Okay, did you ask him about it?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
I'm well, not like really directly.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I guess I've asked like if he's upset with me
or if he feels okay, but he just isn't He
doesn't really answer. He seems like he's like this upset,
but I don't know, like nothing really happened between us.
It just kind of came out of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
That's frustrating. It is it makes you feel a little nuts. Yeah,
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
It makes me feel pretty weird.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah, like I don't know what's going on, and I
feel like I'm just kind of like talking into this.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
I don't know, Yeah, you know, Yeah, unfortunately, yes, I
do know very well. So have you started to do
any investing? I know it sucks, but have you ever
have you started to do any investigation on your own?
Like is there something that you may suspect could have happened,
or any other signs that you're seeing.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I haven't, No, not really, like like.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I hadn't like looking at his phone or anything like
I I don't know, like I look.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
To see too, like comments on news like Instagram, but yeah,
doing there stuff like that, Like I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Like what has he been doing, Like has he been
going out with his friends more? Is he spending more
time at work any of that? Or he's just feeling
annoyed with you?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yeah, it seems like he's been really busy, like he's
he's like, well, I'm just going a lot going on
and working more, like he says, like a friend of
back in town or something.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Okay, so it just kind of seems shady to you,
just kind of.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Kind of shady and like, I don't know if it's
if he's like, if he's if he's like cheating on me,
or if he's like, I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Know, sad, really busy.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
I don't know, he's not talking to me, like my
my intuition, like I know there's something going on, but
I can't figure out what it is.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I'm really impressed with how you're handling it so far,
though I know a lot of people that would have
exploded at this time and forced it.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Irritating right in the middle of to catch a cheater
and if you're just joining us is on the phone
and she thinks that her boyfriend of eight months named
Sean might be messing around. So we're about to call
him and pretend to be from the grocery store that
he's a rewards card member at and say that every
single month, we choose one lucky reward member who gets
free flowers delivered from our Florida department, and we'll see

(03:16):
if he sends those to his girlfriend, Amelia or to
somebody else. But before we do that, Amelia, why don't
you just give us a real quick breakdown at your
situation again.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, yeah, We've been dating for eight months and the
things were going really well, and recently he's just been
really distant and not responding to my text to the emails,
and when he does, just really annoyed.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Hey, that's so frustrating.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Are you ready for us to call him?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Rude?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Hello, Hey, this is Carbett calling from so. I was
looking for our rewards card member named Sean.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
You that's you? Men? Is this Dale here? From what grows?
Is heyshawn?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Man?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Everybody calls the show all the time.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Yeah, uh yeah calling me.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I'm guessing, man, Sean, I'm guessing. You know why we're calling?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Ah?

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Man? Yeah, I would have been happy to speak to
you guys, but I know this is not a good call.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
This is a to catch a cheater man and Dale?
You know that your girlfriend Amelia is on the phone
and what's talk to him?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
What do you mean me talking to them all the time?

Speaker 6 (04:44):
You know? I told up the show and you know
we we you know, we we built the report. We
built like a relationship. You know, we just talk about
different times, stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
You were you were on Day to Catch a Cheater
before four.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Something like that. Yeah, so I'm guessing you heard the
dirty little secret I did a couple of weeks ago.
I'm sure that's probably why you called.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Did you hear that, Amelia?

Speaker 5 (05:17):
No, No, I didn't know that he called in for
a dirty little little secret.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
But what was your secret to Sean?

Speaker 6 (05:27):
This isna Uh? Yeah, yeah, yes, I think yes should
tell her.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Somebody needs much as we love you, this is on you,
b Yeah, and you know to to have my back.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Oh man, it.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Was a I mean it's it's a long time ago.
It was a situation, uh you know with a family member,
with with with your aunt.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Excuse me, start at the beginning, like which should just
spit that up so quick?

Speaker 6 (06:04):
I mean you got to rip the band aid right off.
You can't just man, Yeah, it was a situation with you.
Aren't a long time ago. A long time ago.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
We've been waiting for eight months. They couldn't have been
that long ago.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Eight months is a long time.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Oh, come on, excuse me.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
I mean, to be honest, it's been awkward ever since.
Uh you know, like remember when we was at your
dad's house for his birthday and you know, everybody was
doing the stuff like that, like he was you know,
I'm pushing her back, like I'm not trying to deal
with her, and she was still coming on to me.
You know, after that, I was uncomfortable, like I regret everything,

(06:42):
like I'm not proud of what I did. I sincerely apologize.
I got to just be honest with you. I should
have never done it, and I'm sorry. You know I
love you. You know I don't I don't want to
be with nobody else.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
DeShawn. Are you saying that you to my aunt Emily
at my dad party?

Speaker 6 (07:03):
No, I didn't know. I never said that. I'm we
did it before your dad's party. I'm saying that your day.
She was there, but because I didn't want any dealings
with her, I didn't want nothing to do with her.
I regretted it. I regretted to this day. Uh, with
every every piece of my soul. I regret it. And

(07:24):
the reason why I mentioned your dad's party is because
she was still coming on to me and I didn't
want no dealings with her or any other woman for
that matter. You know, the only person in the world
I wanted you. I'm a man, you know I made
a huge mistake. That's why I said I didn't want
to be a victim about the situation, but she did
seduce me. I was weak and I fell for it.

(07:44):
I should have never felt for it. But you know,
we've been through a lot since then, and we grew
closer and with we got all of these plans and
goals that were building together. And I don't want to
lose you, and I don't want to you to lose
this life anything. And I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry
in it. I swear this never happened again. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
This is insane.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
I mean, did you grow closer, Amelia? You said he's
been acting all kinds of weird and avoiding you.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Well, yeah, you know, I have been acting a little
weird lately because you know, I've been wanting to tell
you and I don't know how to tell you, you know,
and I I just wanted to get this off my
chest so we can move on with our lives.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Okay, Well you didn't get it off your chest. I
called the radio station to talk to you, so maybe
next time you're going through something sort of avoiding me.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Well, you know I messed up, you know, and I'm
sincerely sorry, and can we can we just you know,
talk more about this in private. You know, I love
you guys, jub everybody. I love y'all. But I think
I need to address this privately. And you know that's
okay with you.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Amelia, Yeah, I think I think we.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Haven't one to talk about Dale. Keep us posted, okay,
And Amelia, I'm glad you found out instead away.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
From aunt Emily.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah man, thank you.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
Wow, I'm glad we got that up. Yeah man, Emily,
she's ferocious when she wants something.
