Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to Catch a Cheater. Only on the Jubile Show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Amy is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and she's been with her boyfriend Jared for eight months,
but now she thinks he might be cheating. So we'll
see if we can help her out. Amy, Sorry you
have to come on the show this way, But what's up?
Why do you think Jared is cheating?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Hi? Yeah, so I think my boyfriend eight months is cheating.
He basically like putting together. He's like super affectionate, like
really mo was she like totally bringing flag type of guy?
And that's great, you know, but just kind of recently,
I just I feel like he's like just lately he's
(00:40):
been just like starting to hide me for some reason.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
In what way is he just not bringing you out
with his friends or what was he doing before that?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
It's different now?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, Like I don't know. He just seemed like more
like he wanted he was like going a plan to
bring me and hang out with his friends and you know,
being public more. But I don't know. I've only been
in his place three times and he always insists on
going to my place. Uh, and then he'll make he
started making excuses about his roommates making jerks and slabs,
(01:11):
and he's like, oh, it's embarrassing, you know, like you
don't want to come over. But now he was like
talking about me, like meeting you know, his roommates and
friends and stuff for a while. Now it's kind of
stop because of his movie just Swabs or whatever. I've
only met one of his friends and it was just
just passing, uh, And he says that, Like he also
(01:31):
says his friends are a bad influence on him and
he needs to change, and you know that I'm the
change before him, and so he wants to get rid
of his friends anyway. So I don't know, it's just
like he's you know, he'll say like, oh, you're that
you're changing me for the better. Oh it's so great.
But then he'll randomly go to me for hours and
(01:53):
coins he was just out with the boys, which is
like the boys that he wants to you know, not
be friends with anymore. So it's just really conflicting and
it's conceiving me.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Is there anything else that makes you think you might
be cheating?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, there's the phone thing, Like he was hardly on
his phone when I first met. He was like, you know,
super into me in the moment, but now he's like
living on the thing and he's always texting or messaging someone.
But whenever I ask who it is, he's like really
big about it. So I don't know, I've really fallen
in love with him. Yeah, I just hope it's like, yeah,
(02:28):
I hope it's just like good misunderstanding because I think
it's like he's seems like the one, but I just yeah,
I just have to find out.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Well, especially when you're asking questions and you're not really
getting the answer, that starts to be frustrating.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
It it makes you feel crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah, Yeah, I feel like, yeah, crazy, Like I was
just like it's it's ah, it's all in my head.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
But it's like it's not.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
It's like there's a gut feeling or.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Something weird going on.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah, So it just feels like he's completely changed.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah, and it's only been in like the last three weeks.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Right in the middle of the Catch a Teeter and
if You're just joining us, Amy is on the phone
and she thinks that her boyfriend of eight months named
Jared might be cheating. So we're about to call him
and pretend to be from the grocery store that he's
a Rewards card member at, and tell him that every
single month, we choose one lucky Rewards Card member who
gets free flowers delivered from our floral department. We'll see
if he sends those to Amy or to somebody else
(03:19):
and find out if he's cheating and Amy. Before we
do that, why don't you break down your situation for
us again real quick?
Speaker 5 (03:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:25):
So, I think the potential love of my wife is
cheating on me. I've only been with twice a couple times.
He keeps making excuses not to meet his friends, but
I feel like he's hiding me. He wasn't like this
at first. He seemed excited to be up to me,
and now he's ghosting me and he's on his phone
all the time and maybe texting someone. So I need
(03:48):
to find out if he's cheating.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, okay, are you ready for us to call him?
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Hello, Hi, this is Corbett calling from I was looking
for our rewards card member named Jared. Hey, Jared, please
don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call.
I'm actually calling to say congratulations, you're this month's big winner.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
Oh Okay, cool, what did I win?
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I guess maybe you don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Every single month we choose one Lucky Rewards card member
who gets free flowers delivered from our floral department, absolutely free.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Okay, and that's you. Congratulations.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
You just want thirty six long stem red roses, a
box of candy or chocolate, and a card to be
delivered to anybody that you want, absolutely free. It's actually
a three hundred and sixteen dollars value.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Ohow, okay, cool.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
All I need from you is just the first and
last name of the person that you want to call,
and then if you want to put anything on a card,
and then with the address, and that'll be it.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
Okay. How about Amelia?
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Okay, Amelia? Yeah, I got the last time. Okay, And
do you want to put anything on a card?
Speaker 5 (05:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (05:10):
Can you write thank you for keeping me up so late.
It's been worth every every second I'm with you and
I'm having the best time, and I hope we can
do that's the same thing we did last night again.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Great, thank you very much for that. By the way,
this is actually the Jubile Show. It's a radio show.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah. Hi, I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Yeah, no, of course I know. And my girlfriend Amy's
in the phone.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
Yeah, and she knows I'm on the phone because she
thinks I'm cheating on her.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Okay, yeah she is. This is called to Catch a
Cheater Amelia.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Who the hell is Amelia Jared?
Speaker 5 (05:57):
Oh my god, any you really fell for it? I
got you know what? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
I thought I thought you were seeing someone and you
were hiding me, And now I know why, So tell
me who the hell Melia is?
Speaker 5 (06:10):
I know.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
You know what, h Well, I've been doing this for
like a month. I wanted her to think I was
cheating because I know she watches you guys all the time,
and I wanted to be on this show and I
knew she would think I'm cheating. So she told you
guys and try to catch me. It was like a
(06:33):
whole like thing I had planned up.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
That's pretty twisted.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
So you've been making me think you've been cheating on
me for a month as like a gag.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
I mean, you will love this show.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
I tell you what to be happy to be honest,
so you're not cheating.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
I was talking to Ai on my phone whole time,
thinking you know that it's a girl talking.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
To and I even named her Amelia.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
It is not okay.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
What the I've been going crazy thinking that you've been
cheating on me this whole time. You've been on your phone.
It's vague. You're not I'm not meeting any of your friends.
Are you kidding you? I'm just this has been like
a game. I think like we just basically started dating.
I think you're the one, and you're just like playing
with me like this.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
I don't know. You love the show, ye, the show.
I don't want to be on the show. I think,
come on, it's so funny.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
It's not funny. It's you know, I've been cheating. I've
been cheated on in the past. You know that, And
so you're gonna do this and like re traumatize me.
This is ridiculous, Like you know that I've already been rolled.
You're gonna liked all the same time that I saw
with my ex.
Speaker 5 (07:53):
I'm just one big joke.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
This is so classic plastic at this point, and I
feel like we should be apologizing, not still laughing.
Speaker 6 (08:04):
And she don't look back at Don and't think it's
so funny. Maybe she's mad now, but she's gonna be
so happy she's on the show.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
No, I'm going to look back at this as the
time I broke up with my boyfriend because he's an insensitive.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Okay, that's not funny.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yeah, it's not very funny. This is pretty serious and
you're just like laughing here. It's really humiliating, and you
just laughed again, like I'm serious, Like we're done. This
is not cool.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
You need to send a humor and Beyonce you like
it's a wow.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
This is a month of torture. A whole month.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
It is torture.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
I mean, come on, it's funny and mean, you really
gonna break up with me over this? Like it's so dumb.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yeah, a month of torture. Like I know now that
I can't trust you. You hide secret like I don't
care why you hide secrets. You hidden secrets for a
whole monk. You saw that I was in pain and
I was looking at you like whate thing was going
on and asking questions and you just lied to make
a homework.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
Well I did it because I thought you would have
fun being on the radio show that you listen to
whatever day.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
You do not see the problem here, Jared.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
It was a joke, Like, I mean, she loves the show.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
I thought it would be funny for her to be
on it, Like, I didn't think it was a big deal.
But I understand. I get now why she's mad. But
like I thought she would laugh, Like, I didn't think
you'd get this dark.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Yeah, you obviously don't get me. It was getting really
serious between you and me, and you just completely blew
it up for a joke.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
I was like not cheating, like that whole thing. I
wasn't cheating. So I don't know why you're so mad.
I don't know why you don't get it, like I
wasn't cheating.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
You didn't catch a.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Cheater, like, I mean, weirdly worse.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
How's that worse? You've been cheating on?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
And this is worse.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I'm getting cheated on. I don't think so you're just
like being sensitive.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Okay, can you just hang up on him?
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Maybe I'll talk to you later, Jared, I mean I'll
be around.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Okay, Amy, he's gone, I just hang ou about him.
Oh wow, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
Maybe you just didn't know everything about each other because
this has humor is a little bit on.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
That not he did not get it at all.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Yeah, this is like an incredible shock. I just can't
even believe he would, like anyone would do something like this.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Yeah, but he just the remorse part, I think more
than anything else didn't exist.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
I thought I loved him, and now like I just can't.
I just can't even believe he did that. Like I
just don't even know him. Like who, what kind of
personality is that that does that to someone? Who's going
to do in the future if like we stay together,
this is just so bad. Oh at least it's over
and I don't have to date it that
