Speaker 2 (02:32):
I was like, what are they doing up there? Everyone
knew how to perform. Everyone hit their vocals, everyone had

Speaker 12 (03:23):
So all of us we hold different things, you know,
we hold different gifts, but that gift thing is very
important because somebody out there needs your gift. So don't
sell your gift short. I'm rooting for everybody to be
the best version of themselves that they possibly can.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Because God made you that way.
Speaker 12 (03:45):
Thank you all the legends and all the greats who
paid the road for all of us.
Speaker 3 (03:49):

Speaker 4 (03:50):
I love it, man, Lauren Hill.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Right there, Miss Lauren Hill, do you continue to hang
out with It's in the neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Neighborhood listening to the Big Boys Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Boys Neighborhood. All right now, Hey, Sue support What is
up in here? Hey, Sue's hang loose?
Speaker 4 (04:05):
My brother? What you got?
Speaker 13 (04:06):
I remember being mad at my dad growing up man
and saying things like I'm running away, not leaving oka
any boy stuff, but I'm running away while his kid
actually tried to run away from home.
Speaker 14 (04:19):
This video shows eleven year old Jamel Johnson getting into
an uber at five point fifty five am without any
parents supervision. His parents say they woke up in a
panic when they realized their son, who has autism, wasn't
at home.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
It was a.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Feeling I wouldn't want any other Mather mother, father, brother, sister,
and uncle to ever experience.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I didn't know what was happening.
Speaker 13 (04:41):
I didn't know where my son was.
Speaker 14 (04:42):
When they checked their security camera, they saw the black
car pull up and their son get in with a suitcase.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
At that point, you know, we're literally in frantic mode.
Speaker 14 (04:51):
At that point, when Jamel's dad called his missing phone,
Port Authority police at JFK answered.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
And they had found him because he was trying to
get on the oil was on the TSA Line.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
I wanted to go to Japan.
Speaker 14 (05:03):
The parents say their son has autism and running away
from home isn't uncommon with kids on the spectrum, but
they're angry at how far and eleven year old got
without anybody stopping to question him. Uber has a strict
no miners policy unless they're with an adult. It's unclear
why Jaml was allowed to get into the Uber on
his own.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Damn man, he was trying to go to Japan. Trying
to go to Japan, man a man. And they got
upset about how far he got. First off, parents, no disrespect,
but he got out of your house. Wow, you know,
like and I know kids wanted us on and so forth,
but damn you had to get all the way to
the TSA line right, and no point at the Uber
driver thing like.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah said, that's like home alone.
Speaker 13 (05:46):
I know, man, I remember one time I've got as
far as like the park and then I got hungry
and I'm.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Like, all right, that's not kid. When I was five,
I jumped out of our apartment window. Then when I
touched the ground, I was like, where am I going?
I had to wear it all then, you know what
I'm saying and that's I started my chubby career. I
was like, where am I gonna eat? But he was
on his way. He said, I wanted to go to
with Japan, which is very nice.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
I've been there. You know, you probably want to go
over there because.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Like so she like, you know, I don't want to
go over there.
Speaker 13 (06:20):
Yeah, that's crazy. I mean that a kid would say that.
I mean, I know that kids are gonna say that.
I'm preparing my stuff with my kid when he says, man,
I'm over there.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
He got out of your house.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
I remember one time, dude, some people brought Jaden back
to us, the parents, and then he came back to Yeah,
some parents, some parents.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Brought Jaden back to us.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Man, we were on vacation and I guess we were
loading and stuff up into the room and then the
next thing, you know, we hear the door and they're like, oh,
is this your son?
Speaker 4 (06:50):
And we're like, oh.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
My god, your house, Like he got out. And then
that's what you got, like overparent, like when you start kidding,
you know, how did you get out of here? Oh
my god, Oh my god, Dada. Yeah, And it was scary.
It was scary, and it wasn't scary because I didn't
(07:12):
know he was gone. It was scared that I know
he came back. Oh my god, where were you? You
know what I'm saying. You hang out with It's in

for a month and it was found partying with Mexico
fans after a victory because.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Oh my god, this is hilarious.
Speaker 15 (07:47):
It was just there and they picked them up to
this side of party with them, right, But this person
ended up losing their dog like a.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Month ago, and he saw it like on TV.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Saw it on TV.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Oh my god, I'm looking at them picking up the
dog and you know you have picked up a dog
and you're not having legs hanging yeah, like just partying
with the dog.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
And then the lady dog, yes, the owner.
Speaker 15 (08:10):
I guess saw this because one of the television companies
broadcast to it because they're driving videos from social media.
And when she saw that, she was like, that's my dog.
And however it ended up happening. The dog has now
been reunited with the other.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Hold on, where is this at? This is a Mexico bro.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
The guy that's carrying him, that's my dog. I know
that's my dog carrying her dog.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
That's crazy.
Speaker 15 (08:35):
So she was reunited with her dog. About a month ago.
The dog went missing. She puts something up.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
He ran away and now he's like living life.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah, I gotta go back.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Hell yeah, outside he had to. He had to paray,
yeah or celebrace.
Speaker 15 (08:49):
He about ten miles away from home, and yeah, I
guess whoever saw.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Him there on his breath, you know what I'm saying.
He had been gone a month. Well, she being gone
a month.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
They named her. Her name is.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Hey, we don't need to be dog shaming, but what a.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Crazy story, right for your shilling the while like a
month later, they're on TV like, that's my dog.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
But I wonder if that guy, if that's his dog,
you know what I'm saying, if the dog was just wandering,
because he looked very like she looked very yeah, and
like she was cared for. Yeah, don't want to go back.
Speaker 3 (09:27):

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Were running like, but we're go ahead with your My.
Speaker 15 (10:00):
Buddies that live in an apartment complex ended up stealing
the neighbor's dog and waited till that person panicked, then
eventually put up a reward sign and then returned the dog.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Bro just to get like a four hundreds.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Dude, you walk by her muffled bark.
Speaker 3 (10:14):

Speaker 3 (11:09):
They got the chains on there literally acting like rappers.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
I don't know about them being just straight nerds, because
you're starting to see somewhere like Rampage Jackson from mm
A Fighter. He's the streamer, now does it?
Speaker 8 (11:22):
You know what I'm saying. I mean, it's just another
waiting for you.

Right now, bro, and Logos the score Right now, there's
a bit glances that's taking the launch his own hands.
Speaker 6 (12:04):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
If you haven't seen it on social media, just look
it up. Look just google Batman Lagos de Moreo.

And he's like a vigilante.
Speaker 8 (12:11):

Dog.
Speaker 15 (12:12):
So the last month there's been like a crime. There's
been a lot of crimes when it comes to stealing
motorcycles and bikes right in general. So whoever this guy is,
No one really knows who he is, but they coined
him the Batman of Logos, the Lagos. The dude has
been catching these guys and he's been duct taping them
to poles, Bro, and then he leaves the bike that
they stole right in front of him. It's freaking crazy.
(12:36):
Exactly Is that a real picture? That's one that's real picture.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
I thought, he just know, he just takes somebody's hand.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
He taped them from their feet all the way up
over there and showed.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Up liking cartoons.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
He took time to grown me and standing there and
there was Batman.
Speaker 15 (12:52):
Yeah whatever, it is It could be more than one person.
But whoever's doing this, people are praising them across the country,
obviously the city itself because they're.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Like, dude, fightn't here so much taking justice? I always
think about that.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
All the time, Bron, What if I find out it
was you? That's why we don't see you as much
on the weekends. Like you was over in Mexico duct
taping people fighting crimes. Yeah, over there, crime fighter, you
know what I'm saying. I always thought about that, like
why isn't there like one person? Just do you know
what I mean? Sometimes there was Bro, I wish want
to leave Sometimes when I see somebody driving crazy. I
was in like my car and I could take that
(13:25):
police light and put it on top and pull somebody over.
You know what I'm saying, Like that good Samarian and
pull over. I'm like an undercover cop or something like that.
Now I gotta start carrying duct tape and duct taping
people to pull I want to do that. Yesterday I
went to go charge my car and the person was
using the wrong charger and I.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Was like, hey, I just want to give you a ticket.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
Right now, or like just no, no, no, that's all personal.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Sorry person, we're talking about taking care of communities and
cities and everything.
Speaker 8 (13:51):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
No, No, you're talking about somebody using a charge. Did you
see that Tesla driving to the mall and kill that lady.
I'm telling you all these these cars, did you drive
an electric car?
Speaker 6 (14:03):
I do not?
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (14:04):
All right?
Speaker 8 (14:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (14:05):
Manka to the point where like, yeah, the government can
actually just tap into your car whatever.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
They want to.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
I want to tape your car to your parking space
almost how you conduct tape on everything? Man, You don't
you don't open me up. Shout out to Batman in Mexico. Man,
all heroes don't wear capes, and unless he is, he
wearing a cape.
Speaker 16 (14:22):
Inn on like they're just coined on the Batman. Yeah,
that's amazing man.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Alrighty, y'all, continue to hang out with us in the neighborhood,
Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (14:31):
You can't move out of the neighborhood.

watch the best moments from Big Boy's Neighborhood now on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
All right, now, hey, sus supposed us up in here,
hayesus I know you hate doing these proposal.
Speaker 13 (14:44):
Stories, man, exactly, And I hate it because you know,
then the idea sparks on the couple. You know, there's
a couple that went up to the Empire State Building
and you know they decided.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
To propose to one another and one another.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Yes, I know that proposals, that's how it goes to
one another.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, and you know it.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Right, Na, he got on knee. Could they propose to
one another?
Speaker 8 (15:10):
You know that's after.
Speaker 13 (15:10):
But here's the thing, dude, My thing is when I
saw that.
Speaker 15 (15:14):
They climbed the building all the way to the very time, right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
you said they went to the building, but they climbed it.
Speaker 13 (15:19):
They went to the Empress stair building and he went
all the way to the top, and that's where he
proposed to her.
Speaker 16 (15:23):
I don't want.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
The way through.
Speaker 17 (15:25):
Yeah, I know, we don't know the intention of these people,
but if these people can get up to where they are,
raises a host of security questions. Oh dear god, Tara,
this guy is getting down on a knee, perhaps proposing
to this individual.
Speaker 18 (15:46):
Oh my gosh, Aaron, I think that's exactly what could
be happening.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I wish w ABC would just.
Speaker 14 (15:51):
Move a little bit more around so we could see
what he's doing down on his knee.
Speaker 17 (15:56):
If it's a proposal, it's an elaborate one. And I
hope she said yeah, but.
Speaker 19 (16:01):
It is in their arrest.
Speaker 6 (16:04):
Okay, they're hugging.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
I think he just proposed.
Speaker 17 (16:09):
So it would seem an elaborate so it would seem
an elaborate stunt.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Listen, all right. I get it. It's romance and all
that in peace and love.
Speaker 13 (16:17):
But that type of stuff is like the Sparks ideas
and it brings craziness because that's exactly the text passage
I got.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Oh my god, I mean.
Speaker 8 (16:25):
Do you believe that, babe?
Speaker 3 (16:26):
And I'm like, yeah, it's crazy. Why would they do that?
That's dumb.
Speaker 13 (16:29):
It's like yeah, But the thing is that he just
went for it, and it's just like and I'm like,
oh my your girl, Oh my god, he said it
is yes, you said like, and I'll say, wait, you
want something that's like in public, and it's like a
big encuse.
Speaker 8 (16:40):
Like I'm just the idea.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
It's just like, oh my god, it's like spontaneous.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Do you want do you want something where people are
around you? Or what you want something more private private?
Why would you want? If you want something more private,
go to that USA State Fair that Trumpet are doing.
Speaker 20 (16:57):
Oh always there they got a marching band and.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Look at them, but I know they're not blue, but
they're brown.
Speaker 16 (17:15):
Yeah right, I'm gonna right out waiting for this and
get over there, get a corn dog. But you so
you rather do something private for sure? Whenever you do,
you know that it's it's to be right. And my
son's involved some way.
Speaker 8 (17:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
I gotta think, let me think, let me think another.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Sings like high school graduation or what not. How young
is your son?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Game three?
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yeah, yeah, maybe after graduation, highs graduation?
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (17:41):
We'll think.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
It's give me something.

Speaker 13 (17:56):
Yeah, games, games come on, the World Cup, Mexicans, the
World Cup.
Speaker 4 (18:02):

Speaker 3 (18:04):

of his biggest hits.

Yeah, they aired it right before the BET Awards, you know,
cut into the Red carpet, and I thought, I was like, oh,
this is genius because he you know, did a great
job of hosting the Red Carpet once again this year.
But what I love about bow Wow is bow wow.
When we say icon and legend, that's real talk. Oh yeah,
but people always try to put this goofiness on bout while.
You know what I'm saying, Like, dude came into the
game and what like four years of age and still

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Because because.
Speaker 21 (21:30):
That kind of been with different kind of girls, felt
like I have seen no more.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
But it ain't no no man at all. I done
seen h that's set up.
Speaker 10 (21:38):
That's maybe said.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
I ain't impressed because it ain't none, no man at
all like and you don't have a feeling when I should.
Speaker 21 (21:44):
If I'm saying with a girl that she's gotta be
just like and baby, that's the way I feel.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
And I got no shore.
Speaker 21 (21:50):
He swept from me up, brother, because when we first

Speaker 26 (24:06):
No, Honestly, it was crazy though, because I like I
had had like a little sore throat for a while,
you know, but I didn't want to go because it's
like I can kill it with tease. I can kill
it with Ginger, and I'm like, I'm a hypocrite because
I'm over here always advocating for mental health and taking
care of yourself. And then I didn't go check in
as soon as I started feeling that because I just
thought it was a little short throat. You know, I've
been outside of loud celebrating the World Cup and all
(24:29):
of that stuff. So I'm like, it's just that it's
gonna go away. And apparently like that escalated to a
respiratory infection, like and I felt like I was like
so down bad.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
Like we didn't know what was going down.
Speaker 11 (24:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
We literally had some guy come up here to do
airbrush T shirts for us. We thought we was going
to get at least.

Yeah, they were very nice. They were very nice, but
she made were you down down? Though?

it's like.
Speaker 26 (25:23):
This feeling like of like oh my god, I'm because
I still joined the meetings and I'm like I'm watching
the stories. I'm watching guys like laughing have fun like
and I'm like I got major formo like just like
especially because that week that I missed was the BET
Awards recap. Don Tolliver like yay came out, Travis Scott Young,
Miami all three greedle like bro I missed that concert.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I don't think they.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
All did that because they knew you weren't gonna be there, right, Yeah,
yeah that's for ya to like your fami is Mariana

Speaker 4 (25:52):

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Yeah, what did you? What did you miss?
Speaker 9 (26:08):

Speaker 4 (26:08):

Speaker 8 (26:10):
You know her? I knows.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
I was like, where's no one? Yeah, man, no one's
over here.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I mixed your laugh, Yeah, mister mised your laugh, your
contagious laugh like.
Speaker 28 (26:21):
Like like like like like like like like like.
Speaker 29 (26:24):
Like like you're not gonna say that's the positive, like
you just missed my energy you did, yeah, because you're
real though, like over here Louis and you know what, she.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Thinks like them, she has like them Fake ninety two three.
We're gonna have him over here, fake ninety two three.
That's now he's fake ninety two three.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (26:46):
Yeah, yeah for sure, no, yes, for sure, All right now.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Big Welcome to the neighborhood anytime, anywhere, twenty four to seven.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
This is the Big Boy's Neighborhood Podcast.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
The Big Boys Neighborhood. Luigi's up in here. What I'm
doing all the neighborhood? J Lo.
Speaker 15 (27:09):
Hello, So she shat down. She had this conversation. It
was like a subway takes or something like that. But
this is her take on breakups, since she feels they
should be celebrated.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
So what's breakups?
Speaker 8 (27:20):
Are?
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Not a failure?
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Agree?
Speaker 30 (27:22):
I honestly feel like it's a launch pad into your
next best self.
Speaker 7 (27:25):
Yes, we should have a party when we break up.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
For sure.
Speaker 7 (27:28):
People shouldn't say you broke up congratulations. I agree, because one,
you made a decision. Two it was probably the best
thing for everybody. And if you're the one who's being heartbroken,
you're the winner.
Speaker 30 (27:39):
Yes, because if you go around your life and you're like,
you know, breaking hearts, let's say is that.
Speaker 6 (27:45):
You you're the loser.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
I only broke one heart. Okay, well I've been on
both sides. Okay, so it's like we all do that.
Speaker 30 (27:53):
But if you're that person, you're never learning anything. And
I just feel like the biggest road spurts had emotionally, mentally,
psychologically have always come from a heartbreak. And that's not
just in romantic relationships. That's in like work, heartbreaks, all
of it. It's the only time you dig, You're like,
(28:14):
what do happen?
Speaker 7 (28:15):
How do I do this?
Speaker 6 (28:16):
Like?
Speaker 30 (28:16):
Why do I keep doing this?
Speaker 19 (28:18):
Or why didn't that happen?
Speaker 7 (28:19):
What could I have done?
Speaker 10 (28:22):
Well?
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Thoughts thoughts? Congratulations you just broke up.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Congratulations right, Okay, celebrate.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
If we should, if anybody should know about the breakup,
I think we should take it from Jennifer Lopez.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Yeah, from a breakup, we learned something. We got a being.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Remember Casper the dancer, that guy, the dude, Remember christ
the first rumored to remember Drake.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
My favorite era.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Yeah, Chris, I'm saying you over there and yeah, there's
a picture of me and.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
I wish I wasn't it.
Speaker 10 (29:14):
I wish I was.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
But you know what it is like in celebration sometimes
because have you ever seen when girls get together and
they do like you could do bad by yourself? Girl,
you can do bad by yourself a girls, you know y'all,
y'all go out, and I.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
Think fellas do that too. You'd be like, oh man,
you know it's wild.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Because you got to be careful when you break up
with someone too, because you got to make sure that
they really when when they break up, make sure that
it's broken, because there's sometimes when somebody say something and
then when they get back when you like, oh I
say something bad.
Speaker 26 (29:48):
About them, Like I'm a lover girl, I'll stay in
the house for a little bit until I get it
over and then out. But it's hard, Like staying in
is hard. Like I want to go out and distract myself.
I don't have the energy to do that. Really, you know,
you want to sit down either, Yeah, exactly, no music.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
I got a little cousin names Jay, and you have
a little cousin.
Speaker 15 (30:16):
But he just broke up with the girl, and I'm like, okay, cool,
So I'm like, let's go out, let's have drinks, let's
get out of the lives on. Then I just found
out that he has like communication with his exes, mom
and dad, and I'm like, bro, I gotta break everything, got.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
To break it all my rooms.
Speaker 13 (30:29):
I don't hang out with someone that's going through a
breakup and they want to hang out and go out.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
No, no, I'm not gonna deal with the crying. I'm
not gonna deal with you in the parking lot calling
them and talking.
Speaker 8 (30:38):
About what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (30:39):
You like, no, no, no, no, because.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
You've been there right now a thousand percent? Have you cried?
Speaker 8 (30:43):
Bring it up.
Speaker 10 (30:47):
Already?
Speaker 3 (30:47):
I feel like I boss up when that happened.
Speaker 22 (30:49):
Really, I feel like it's like, all right, I'm sad
for a minute, but I give myself like a run
of life. You can't be sad too long.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
You got a boss up.
Speaker 22 (30:56):
You gotta finish working on what you're working because when
you're dating somebody, you're giving a lot of your time, right,
And so it's like, okay, now it's all about me.
And I feel like every time like something happens, I
end up doing like.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
Way there, So we were more of like an employee up,
you know.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
So I can't move out of the neighborhood, Huh, why
don't you stay with us a little longer, and make
sure to watch.
Speaker 6 (31:22):
The best moments from Big Boys Neighborhood. Now on you too, too.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
All right now, hate Su suppovid is up in here,
hates Sue's hanging loose?
Speaker 4 (31:31):
What you got?
Speaker 9 (31:32):
Man?
Speaker 13 (31:32):
This World Cup is getting intense, especially with elimination rounds.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Dude.
Speaker 13 (31:36):
People are leaving and you know there's certain people that
hated when their team loses, and certain people that really
hated when the team that's South Korea.
Speaker 4 (31:43):
Man, oh my god, dude.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
When I saw the footage of South Korea the players
were all of them landing in South Korea, I felt bad.
Speaker 13 (31:51):
Oh yeah, that they were getting booed when they hut
off the blander or rushing straight to their cars. I mean,
that's hey, man, but we had the booze. SEUs was
going to play, right, hey, right, But then Hayesus did
his research. He was like, bab, we can't play because
they're cursing.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Is a curse word. They're really mad.
Speaker 13 (32:09):
But the thing is because the coach, you know, they're
they're very upset with the coach. You know, he's an
ex player and there was some favoritism about him even
coaching so you know a lot of people are just
very upset.
Speaker 27 (32:20):
Why are South Korean football fans so angry at their coach?
Coach Hung them will return to Seoul after failing to
take his team to the knockout state of the World Cup.
South Korea won its first game against Chequia, but lost
to both Mexico and South Africa. The angry fans showed
up at four am. They held up signs that said
Korean football is dead and coach Hung longbo give back
your salary and leave home, and his officials hurried out
(32:42):
of the terminal. Even the president piled on, calling him
an incompetent leader and ordered investigation into the football association.
Then stepped down hours after this post.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
Their president talking man too. Yeah, their president have time
to Yeah.
Speaker 13 (32:57):
They had a lot of signs that said like shame
you should have you should be ashamed of yourself, and
a lot of times it's because they didn't put the
start player on, and there's a lot of like insider
like why didn't you do this?
Speaker 3 (33:07):
There's certain moves like he did do that it's questionable.
Speaker 13 (33:09):
So you know, everybody's just really questioning his point of
view as a coach and there.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
He had had like a smooth escort to airports.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Was like, man, I hate this man a man. You know,
you got to have a different kind of hate and
be and be mad to be at the airport at
four in the morning, you know what I'm saying, Like
you got to set an alarm to say, I'm getting
up at about two two thirty, I'm getting in the car.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
I'm gonna mark, I'm gonna wait, and I'm gonna do them.
Speaker 13 (33:42):
Think about it, you're right, yeah, yeah, but imagine that.
I mean, like, can't even go to your house, can't
even got anymore. The whole country is really angry.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
At you are not, and it's going to be everywhere.
That's and that South Korea, North Korea.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 15 (34:03):
So they thought that, you know, the reason he was
on there is because favoritism.
Speaker 10 (34:06):
Right.
Speaker 15 (34:06):
They said that they hand picked him instead of like
looking out for other coaches. That a coach doesn't have
to be the nationality of that country, right, The players
do to play in the first so they can pick
any other coach. They could have got a badass coach
from Spain or Mayic or something like that, but whatever,
they all favored this one. Dude failed last last World
Cup and other they're just like, because what did he
get Why did he get the job?
Speaker 3 (34:25):
A lot of times because he's the next player.
Speaker 13 (34:27):
So they were already famboing out in the fact that
he's the star player that used to be a star.
Speaker 16 (34:31):
But then, you know, guy, it's gonna be hard.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
It's gonna be hard to even just get him and
go get a couple of calls, family, everything.
Speaker 10 (34:43):
Y'all.
Speaker 4 (34:43):

the fact that they're portraying Joe Jackson like that.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Hey man.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
But the community.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
But the same way when when he did the pastor thing,
people loved it and then a lot of people in
the church was mad at it, you know, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
Man, but that's what it's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
I remember doing I had this one break and I
guess it's online somewhere, right, And I was talking about
when I met Michael Jackson and people it was like
so serious and it was like, you know, when I
met him and I explained the story about how he
came in, so on and so forth, and then I said, yeah,
then at the end he took his nose off and
threw it to me.
Speaker 6 (36:58):
Man.
Speaker 4 (36:58):

just a snippet. The whole funniness in it.
Speaker 2 (37:19):

we heard on the radio, y'all got to see the
visual is a food.
Speaker 4 (37:24):

All right now. Luis g is up in here with
a blue doll.
Speaker 15 (38:28):
We talked about how many tourists are visiting like the
USA Mexico.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Things we say offh my god.
Speaker 15 (38:35):
But we were talking about how these tourists are like
getting uh not, they're getting exposed American foods. A lot
of people are loving wrench dressing because they never had
it before. But this guy from Australia, he tried pop
ice for the first time and listened to his review.
Speaker 31 (38:48):
Just id at a restaurant in America Cole popause it's the
most incredible chicken you ever saying, it's like it's like
sposy and like crunchy. You can get spotsy chicken all regular.
I got spossy, one spicy, one regular. You get these
chips that are like so you get two pieces of
cuntry fried chicken biscuit chips.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
And this the most beautiful Colesloy.
Speaker 31 (39:11):
I've ever had in my life. It's like Coleslaw, but
it's kind of like spicy, like it's.
Speaker 8 (39:15):
Got mustard or something in it.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
And then all of that.
Speaker 10 (39:18):
I'm not making this up.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Two pieces of chicken biscuit chips. Coleslaw is six dollars.
Speaker 31 (39:24):
Like all this food you can see here is two
six dollars combos.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
How does this business even work?
Speaker 31 (39:31):
How is it even open? And there's the drink machine
there of course, unlimited refills. The drink machine. I'm gonna
make it subscribe to this. I'm gonna make a separate
video about the drink machine. The drink machine, it's like
a touchscreen. There must be fifty different options. In fact,
why is Pope's Chicken not in Australia? If it Popeyes,
(39:52):
if you came here, you would own this country.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Welcome, Yeah, man, I had it Popeye's experience yesterday is.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Yeah, man, yeah, the two dollars, the two piece chicken.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
That's a six dollars meal, which is great, yes, you
know because it's usually it's usually not, you know, not
that cheap.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
Yeah, I'm saying, we break.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
It's hard to say it's not that price all the time.
Let him go home, I'm having Let him.
Speaker 15 (40:16):
Let him go home with go back to Australi and
be like, dude, you guys got to try this at
least once in your life, hey man.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
But that's the way I felt about this spot called Nando's.
Oh yeah, I love now. Yeah Nando's.
Speaker 8 (40:24):
Man.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
The first time I had Nando's was in Africa, was
in South africatch.
Speaker 4 (40:28):
And then no, the first time.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
I had Nanto's was in with the very Perry Sauce.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
Yeah, but I had Nanto's in in in uh London. Yeah,
and then when I went over they had it in
South Africa as well. But if I travel and I
see Nando's and it's the spots out here, you know,
there's some Nando's liking the Nando's but oh man, yeah,
they had me every day.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
I was at like, how my homie was probably over
the pop Eyes every year. My man was gone. Bro,
he was there.
Speaker 15 (40:58):
Now you know, man, Chicken, there's some other dude that
couldn't believe that it was free. Refels when you at
a restaurant. Dude, the Italian dude, Yeah he was. He
loved die coke, so he was just kidding.
Speaker 4 (41:09):
He just kept drinking Coca Cola and they.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
Were like, bro, just stop, you're gonna get full. He's like, no, man, free,
free's free.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
But yeah, you you see certain things when you travel, man,
it's like it's different.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
It is very different.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
But if there's anyone out there, we want to speak
to you as man, man, what's something everybody should do
at least once? What's something you should experience or try
at least once. And it's not just food, you know
what I'm saying. We're not just gonna talk about food.
What's something everyone should try or do at least once.
Mushrooms everyone tried? Everybody never you have before? Quest you
(41:44):
ever tried mushrooms before?
Speaker 3 (41:47):
You gotta try one, won't you say?
Speaker 8 (41:48):
Heroin?
Speaker 27 (41:50):
No?
Speaker 4 (41:50):
No, no, why should everyone try?
Speaker 3 (41:54):
It's a different experience you like getting like you in Earth.
Speaker 20 (41:57):
Like sh.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
Us, like man you on Earth.
Speaker 2 (42:02):

Speaker 4 (42:19):
Hit us up.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
What's something everybody should do at least once?
Speaker 4 (42:23):
What's something everybody should experience.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
We're gonna bring Matthew into the neighborhood and see it's
going down with Matthew up in here. Matthew, Hello, Hello.
Speaker 4 (42:33):
There, Matthew.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Matthew, what's something everyone should do or experience once?
Speaker 18 (42:38):
Man, once in a lifetime, while it's here. I know
it's expensive, go to the World Cup and so far.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
Really oh my gosh, yeah damn yeah, we're probably gonna
have to catch that.
Speaker 4 (42:48):
And when it comes back to America.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
I know they're trying to do like something.
Speaker 4 (42:53):
So have you have you experienced that? Matthew?
Speaker 19 (42:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (42:57):
Really though?
Speaker 18 (42:58):
What would that in Canada?
Speaker 4 (43:01):
What was that light?
Speaker 18 (43:02):
Once in a lifetime? Bro, I took a picture of
people from Mexico and Canada and everybody was happy, was
no static, no funk. Everybody was loving each other. It
was beautiful.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
I love that which USA game did you go.
Speaker 18 (43:17):
To the one we lost.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
Damn. Man, we didn't lose a game till you showed up, Matthew, Damn.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
I'm saying, yeah, but you say everybody, ah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:31):
Man, blame it on the dark. I was blaming on you.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Yeah, But what's something everyone should try or should do
at least once.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
I've actually never been to a soccer game, like a
pro soccer game.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
Want to be MLS for to be World Cups. I
was like, the tickets were mad expensive for this. I
was like, well that's probably wait till next time.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
You know what, for you, we will send you to
Louise things so you can watch you with at his
watch party, or you can go to the universe where
watch Savvy DJ over there.
Speaker 5 (43:58):
Seem's got the bigger TV universal, but I think we
may have a better energy.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yeah Louise Louise the Energizer bunny. Yeah, Louis Louise the
energy man. I still wonder why they booked Savvy over there.
I thought he was I thought it was his wife
worked over there. She had a high position. So they
book you on skill alone for these things. Of course,
of course, so how long is your set? Like how
long Savvy are you DJing over there the.
Speaker 3 (44:23):
Hour before halftime and then they have me an hour after.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
Really, so if there's anybody after. When we were talking
about what's something everyone should do once? Yeah, watch him
dj at least once.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Maggie doesn't lie. Savvy gotta going though, man, the kids
are jumping.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
The kids don't know better, bro Baby Shark like seventeen
thousand billion, Yeah, you know kids all you want savvy,
it's just jump around like they just dance where kids
just kind of like jump around and do this with
their feet. So that's what kids are doing over there. Experiences, yeah,
coming experience. Yeah, what's something everyone should do? Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Always stay tapped in to Big Boy's neighborhood and become
one of our neighbors.
Speaker 6 (45:06):
Follow us right now on.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
Instagram at Big Boy's Neighborhood and on TikTok at Big
Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 4 (45:13):
What's something everyone should do once?
Speaker 2 (45:15):
We're talking about how World Cup is going down out here, man,
and there was a guy about it from Australia. Yeah,
first time he went to Popeye's Man went to Popeye's
Chicken and lost his mind. So we're asking, what's something
everyone should do. Try experience once. We're gonna bring Shae
into the neighborhoods. He's going down with Shae Shae.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
Hello, Hello, Hello.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
There, Shae Shae.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
What's something everyone should do try or experience just once?
Speaker 9 (45:43):
Everyone should experience another culture's religion, just just once.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
I heard that.
Speaker 9 (45:49):
I think that we're so misunderstood because we're so misinformed,
that if we just experienced someone else's there's another culture's religion,
we could see their perspective instead of just guessing and
then reacting off of whatever is happening in our own brain.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
Yeah, and especially days like now, we are in a
crazy place, shade when it comes to religion now, like some.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
People a look at like.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
Yeah, yeah, victimized finger pointing, Like then what I'm seeing
was so called Christianity now as well, when I was
in high school, I took Bible and I took religion,
so I had a chance to like study other religions
as well. And then I was so intrigued by religion, man,
that I also looked into like chanting and morning Gonio
and Buddhism and yeah, man, and.
Speaker 4 (46:38):
I studied Islam, you know.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
And I'm talking about after high school, I just I
just went and I studied a lot about religion. That's
why when I look at religion now, Shade, I'm like, man,
religion is being used as a weapon sometimes too, and
I think I think the base of religion on a
lot of grounds have changed, especially when I'm seeing what
people are doing with Christianity.
Speaker 4 (46:56):
Now you know, it's just wild.
Speaker 9 (46:57):
But everyone using it for and it's awful.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah. So he's saying everyone should try to at least
experience and I would even say go with someone to
different spots too, you know, yeah, man, go to anyone
else out there. If you haven't been to a black church,
experience that. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Experience that. Yeah, Man,
the Golden Rule, man one, that's how you've been to church.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
Okay, I'm not I'm not gonna do that. I'm not
gonna do. You said experience the gym one time, Lou.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
Oh yeah, no, I don't want to do the gym.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
But if we're talking about what's something everyone should do
at least once, when the last time, Lou, you really
think you went to the gym.
Speaker 15 (47:33):
The last time I went to the gym, I think
I went in just to cancel my membership, right, and
that was because I signed.
Speaker 4 (47:40):
You let it go, right.
Speaker 15 (47:42):
I don't think I've ever been to the gym like that, Bro,
I can't What do you mean you can't have anybody
to go.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
With to finish challenge?
Speaker 10 (47:49):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (47:50):
Let's go, right, let's commit. Check that's how you've been
to the gym.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Spend a minute, but I'll get back to it.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
It's been a minute, or it's been an hour. No,
it's not cold.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Have been in a half.
Speaker 4 (48:00):
Why are you at the mic? I thought you were
gonna ask me.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
No, I wasn't gonna all right, So, yeah, when was
the last time you've been to church?
Speaker 8 (48:07):
Church?
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Yeah? We all need to get a church.
Speaker 10 (48:11):
Yea.
Speaker 4 (48:11):
Who the last time you've been to the gym? I've
never been to a gym?
Speaker 10 (48:15):
What?
Speaker 4 (48:15):
Never been to? Have You've never been to never been
inside a gym or anything?
Speaker 15 (48:19):
No, Like I've gotten to the parking run and all that,
the push ups, but never.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
Stepped inside of gym.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
And how young are you? I'm forty two.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
And you've never been to a gym. Never you got
to experience it once? Yeah, I don't give my god,
I got I got a trained by the name of Rollo.
Oh well, maybe you don't want to start with I'm
gonna bring Rollo down.
Speaker 8 (48:38):
Man.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
He gonna take you downstairs and give you a workout.
He said. You would think I offered him crack.
Speaker 6 (48:50):
You would listen to the Big Boys Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
I were a good friend and hater as well. When
he comes to talking about I want to do a
good Michael jack An impression. We got our good friend
Joe Coy in the neighborhood. Do you remember the days
Joe and every every comedian say they remember or they
had it? Do you remember the bomb? Like your first
bomb that meant something to you so many.
Speaker 3 (49:13):
So many and I don't care, Like that's the whole
thing about.
Speaker 28 (49:16):
That's the love relationship with with stand up. It's like
we love it. It's it's not like, uh, I don't
know how to explain it. Man, It's like you just
you lick your wounds and you and you're like, all right, cool,
all right. So I get paid it and get it.
I guess I needed to work on this, or maybe
I shouldn't do that.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
We don't really care. You know how to put it
on yourself?
Speaker 11 (49:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (49:39):
See, I would put it on the crowd.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
You can. But even that, even at that point, who cares?
It was an exercise.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
I'll be driving home, like how you deal with Joe Torre? Yeah, yeah,
he would bomb like that audience.
Speaker 3 (49:53):
You want to hear another one?
Speaker 28 (49:53):
Please do this One's great because I'm playing this venue,
uh this summer. But I I had, I had my
son was one, right and Angie his mommy was with me,
and it was at Pachanga. Oh and I'm opening for
Cedric the Entertainer for the first time. This is when
my son was one, So this is twenty two years ago, right,
(50:14):

Speaker 4 (50:15):
Destroyed and this king of comedy, Yeah.
Speaker 28 (50:20):
This is yes, this is Uh. The Honeymooners with Mike
Epps was just out and I'm like, I'm.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
Gonna destroy him and he needs to see who.
Speaker 10 (50:29):
I am right today, Joe boy.
Speaker 28 (50:32):
And I'm bringing my baby and I want my baby
to see this.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
Yes, and and uh they introduced me.
Speaker 28 (50:39):
I had a stack of blank DVDs that I burnt,
you know those Fry and Fries Electronics sold the towers.
Speaker 3 (50:46):
Yeah, and being and being a Angie burnt all.
Speaker 28 (50:49):
These DVDs I'm like, I'm gonna make so much money.
I'm gonna get the check from Cedric. Yeah, I'm gonna
make all this money from the DVD.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
And I want to blow him off the level, blow
him out.
Speaker 28 (50:57):
And Pachanga is like, here you do tomorrow show because
we just we just call him Cedric. He wasn't entertaining him.
Speaker 10 (51:05):
Thank you very.
Speaker 8 (51:10):

Speaker 4 (51:11):
And I went in, Oh my god.
Speaker 28 (51:14):
Man, I'm telling you I killed so hard. Man, I
killed so hard that night, screaming. Man, I remember them screaming.
I remember I wore a bright orange Adida's track jacket
just so they can remember.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Who I was when I go on stage.
Speaker 10 (51:26):
I want to be so.
Speaker 28 (51:27):
Bright that they were like, that's the guy that was
on stage right. And uh, I remember when I walked
off stage, I looked to my left. I tell this
story all the time because it gives me chills. Man,
And Cedric was bouncing and he had his hat on,
he had he had he had that the fedora, you
had the button up. And he's like, yeah, that's what
I'm talking about, Joe Coy. Make me work for this
mother of money. Let's go, Joe Coy, That's what I'm
(51:49):
talking about.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
Ladies and gentleman.
Speaker 28 (51:55):
Walked out. They didn't remember and say that happened before him.
I did not exist my orange coke body. All of
a sudden, the valet jacket came out.
Speaker 16 (52:10):
I was getting people, Thank you very much, thank you,
enjoy the show.
Speaker 3 (52:15):
I have these free DVDs. Give it away.
Speaker 10 (52:18):
I'm not going to sell you.
Speaker 32 (52:20):
And that's when you start trying to get him out
of here. Here that it was so yeah, so humbly.
But I always remember that. It's like I want heat
in front of me.
Speaker 4 (52:31):
But that's the news as well.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
But you had already heard so many applause, and even
that night it was on fire moment, but you know, like, okay,
I gotta stay on fire. And then you say it
was humbling.
Speaker 28 (52:47):
It was humbling because I remember I had my kid
and Angie. Just imagine the drive back to l A.
How quiet was with the same stack of d the
whole day to burn man?
Speaker 4 (52:59):

Speaker 28 (53:43):
My whole the crazy thing is Martin came to me
with the idea and I loved it, you know, And
I was like Mark, you know, uh, you know, if
it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Like I loved stand up comedy, but death cham was
it was the door that finally opened up to everybody.
Speaker 3 (54:02):
It's like, here, there's a world out there that you're
not seeing.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
This can happen, and.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
We're gonna show you.
Speaker 28 (54:06):
We're gonna show you a whole group of people that
you've never even seen do jokes before, you know what
I mean. Like, that's where you saw you know, Joe
Tory for the first time, and Bill Bellamy for the
first time, and DL and everybody.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
You know, our introduction to some of the great Yeah
that were that were d L, Steve Harvey.
Speaker 28 (54:25):
The doors were closed on yeah yeah, and they didn't
even fully open that door because if you remember the.
Speaker 3 (54:30):
Time slot, like really think about that time slot. Oh yeah,
we're twelve o five am.
Speaker 28 (54:35):
On HBO on HBO, which means yeah, good luck black people, man,
So this is gonna failure.
Speaker 4 (54:41):
That was our introduction. So you're sitting down.
Speaker 28 (54:44):
She was twelve oh five on a Saturday because everyone's
at the club and going out, so they really wanted
to win.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
Clothes was popping, popping. You understand this one. Clothes was popping.
But yeah, you you had to make an appointment. It
wasn't like it was streamed. And these were people that
you know, our introduction to some of these greats was
through deaf comedy. And so you're sitting down watching this
just as a fan. Yes, and you see Martin Lawrence
as a host the host. Yeah, were you always a
(55:14):
funny guy that you feel like.
Speaker 28 (55:15):
I was already Yeah, I was already doing stand up
gotcha started eighteen, right out of high school, and I
was loving it.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
But black comedy.
Speaker 28 (55:25):
Was like you know, if you I always have to
tell the kids today, it's like, you know, it was different, right,
It's not. It's not accessible the way it is now.
There's not that much opportunity. The opportunity now is bigger.
Back then, there was so many gatekeepers, and you have
to be a certain race to get into certain clubs.
And I don't want to be too specific, but let's
just say, uh, uh, we weren't getting in, you know
(55:48):
what I mean? And and uh when when you heard
certain you know, certain jokes, I couldn't really relate. I'm like,
I don't get it, tools, I don't I don't get right,
you know. But when I when.
Speaker 4 (56:00):
I heard salad, yeah.
Speaker 28 (56:02):
But when you heard Eddie Murphy going my uncle put
gasoline on their have lighter fluid. Now, I'm like, okay,
wait a minute, Okay, I'm understanding this, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 3 (56:12):
Or Bunny rolled down.
Speaker 28 (56:14):
The steps, sir know then and then this door opened
with depth jam and now you're seeing cats that had
stories like like mine, you know what I mean, or
or just a different perspective or a different point of view,
like when I heard JB.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
Smooth talk about you know, I mean his apartment and.
Speaker 4 (56:31):
Then and that's just what I'm saying. It was so many.
It was an introduction.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
It was like a flyer that you never heard of
any of these unless you were in the circuit, you
know what I'm saying. And then even out here, we
had certain spots that.
Speaker 4 (56:45):
You could go to.
Speaker 2 (56:46):
You know, comedy clubs weren't as friendly and they weren't
like how you see him now. So you see like
Comedy Act Theater with Robin Harris, and you see certain places.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 28 (56:55):
So I flew in from from Vegas, right, and this
is before Uber. So I got to lax with a
big bag, right because I was gonna stay two nights,
right right. And I got on the bus and it
took me three hours to get to the Comedy Act
Theater and you did.
Speaker 3 (57:09):
Comedy Act, yes, And I had to wait. I had
to wait my turn.
Speaker 4 (57:13):
Brother Joe, hold on for a second. We got to
come back.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
We got more more with Joe cooy in at the neighborhoods,
y'all stick around more. Joe Coy coming up next, Big
Boy Neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (57:23):

Big Boy Neighborhood, Friend in the Neighborhood, Funny Man, Ladies
and Gentlemen.
Speaker 4 (57:30):
Joe Coy back up in here.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
So when Martin comes to you with an idea, yeah,
and is the idea?
Speaker 4 (57:36):
Is it passed the mic? Is that the newest past?
Speaker 28 (57:39):
Well we came up with the neighbor together, but he
wanted to have a showcase platform.
Speaker 3 (57:43):
And I'm just like, all right, well then let's find that.
Speaker 28 (57:45):
Talent pool and let's give him all like this light,
what you did, what you did on depth chair, Let's
do this.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
So this is superpowers of Martin Lawrence and Joe Coy
coming together. Yeah, passing the mic or presenting an opportunity
for someone that can get into comedy or good on
the stage part of their career.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
Oh yeah, I want I want comedy.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
And the thing is, it's not a competition.
Speaker 8 (58:16):
What is it.
Speaker 3 (58:17):
It's a showcase show.
Speaker 28 (58:18):
We want everyone to win, and everyone that's on it
just I want everyone to understand. It's like, Yo, Martin
is still on tour, a massive tour. Impress him because
you're gonna be on this tour. We're gonna we'll grab
you guys. I'm on a tour, that.
Speaker 5 (58:35):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (58:35):
Because why was that important for you with pass the
mic to hand out the opportunity?
Speaker 28 (58:40):
I think, like it's always just I don't know, man.
You know, one thing with Blacky is, uh, when you're funny,
they want you to be a part of that that
little show that they got going, you know what I mean,
come do my show?
Speaker 8 (58:57):
And uh, I don't know. Uh.
Speaker 28 (59:00):
I was on the scene called the Black College Comedy Tour.
So that's that's how I met everybody. That's how I
met Rudy Rush and you know, Melany Comancho and and
some more and and all. Michael Blason, like I used
to work for Michael Blason when he had Adhiki.
Speaker 4 (59:15):
Arm Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 28 (59:17):
But he'd get off the plane, you know, straight out
of Philly, you know what I mean, with his hat
backwards and the leather jack.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
Then he pulled out this outfit.
Speaker 4 (59:28):
Yeah hold on, man, you was just yeah.
Speaker 3 (59:33):
But but but there were there were nothing.
Speaker 28 (59:35):
There was no one booking me, all right, whatever I
was trying to do you know what I mean, No
one's looking at that, but black clubs were looking at me.
They're like, yeah, yeah, you can open for Michael, you
can open for some more.
Speaker 10 (59:47):
We love this.
Speaker 28 (59:47):
Like this Black College Comedy tour was uh, you know
the whatever god like.
Speaker 3 (59:54):
If what is it called? When like the students like
black student. Yeah yeah, so they will use me a
lot of hbcusing going out so they can hire black comics.
Speaker 28 (01:00:04):
But the school said, you can hire, but you need
another for diversity.
Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
Gotcha you know check box?
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Yeah we need a white cover.
Speaker 28 (01:00:13):
We got your coy, yes, yes, yes, you need an
Asian comic.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
We got your court.
Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Yeah, but you go on and it's Filipino.
Speaker 11 (01:00:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
So that I was embraced by that, and I love that.
Speaker 28 (01:00:24):
I love the fact that it's like that was an
opportunity given to me and I feel like that that's
always been in my blood, just like pay it forward, man.
Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
So what do you look for and not even that,
what do you look for in the next comic? Like
if there is someone to say, how do I get
the opportunity on past to Mike? Is this something that's
been shot already or there's opportunities for people to go
right now.
Speaker 28 (01:00:47):
Just send us your tight point of view, like just

We don't have that drop Superstars leaving Los Angeles.
Speaker 10 (01:02:40):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
You know what's crazy about that? It was really announced
like the same day. Yeah, but the Lebron news took off,
you know, And that's what I was saying. I was
just talking to the neighborhood.
Speaker 20 (01:02:49):
Like.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
There was an actress by the name of Faara of
False She was on what was the show? It was
Charlie Angels. She died the same day that Michael Jackson died.
So when she died, it was like, oh my god,
you know, Faara falls he died thirty People like, oh
my god, that's the way this love was. When Lebron
James and Kawhi almost felt like Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Drake put up a post to and it said, is
it Kawhi season? The game? I wonder I they're gonna
be best buddies if they got you know, it's gonna
be like that.
Speaker 15 (01:03:17):
I think the Clippers are really going to rebuild, and
I think they should bro because honestly, uh well, I
don't know. I think they have a good opportunity to
to do something next year with the roster that the Lakers.
A lot of people don't like the Lakers roster that
they build up. They got they managed to get a center. Actually,
they got greestler Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz the
Lakers that the Lakers did.
Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
Yeah, okay, I know we were talking.
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
About another one. Yeah, another big one. Yeah he's really good.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
Actually, thank god you because I was going to ask
yeah when it sounded man, he's good, And I was just.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Thinking about the whole Drake and Kawhi. I can't see
them hang out.
Speaker 8 (01:03:47):
Is so dry.
Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
He's a fun guy, he.
Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
Said it best.
Speaker 19 (01:03:51):
I'm a fun guy.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
You are scaring the girls.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
American, he's a fun guy, Broun. Would he not if
he wasn't a fun guy. I don't think he would
have said that.
Speaker 8 (01:04:22):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
I think at this I'm Japanese not at all. Yeah,
that African American black.
Speaker 19 (01:04:30):
Yeah, so he would not say I'm a fun guy.
Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
If he wasn't a fun guy.
Speaker 8 (01:04:44):
Let it be in.
Speaker 15 (01:04:48):
Big time, bro, Yeah, you opened my eyes on that.
Another big movie that's happening now. Gianni's obviously the Miami.
You know that Jaylen Brown is going to the seventy
six ers, which is funny because he would call him
be the Flopper all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:04:59):
Something got to be. Now they over there together.
Speaker 11 (01:05:02):
Word.
Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
LaMelo goes to the Timberwolves, La.
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Mellow Gone, John Around from the Grizzlies going to the Blazers.
Speaker 15 (01:05:10):
Now this is a lot of big dog movement. Randall
from the Knicks is going to the Brooklyn Nets.
Speaker 8 (01:05:15):
Crazy.
Speaker 15 (01:05:16):
Imagine just winning the championship and.
Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
They trade so quick, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Can you imagine like they don't even you gotta move,
you gotta clean out to locker.
Speaker 4 (01:05:27):
Can you imagine if we just traded you to another.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Showy I like, hey, we got traded to Woodeny soon
as we traded you over to L and K. Can
you ring like that or trade you a whole nother thing?
That would be crazy man to hang out with us
(01:05:50):

Speaker 1 (01:05:51):
Big always they tapped into Big Boys neighborhood and become
one of our neighbors.
Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
Follow us right now on I G Big which neighborhood?
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Hey, don't TikTok, big boy in the neighborhood.
Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
What you got?
Speaker 26 (01:06:06):
So, you know, with the World Cup happening, of course,
I'm excited for Mexico, but you know, the USA is
also playing the USA team, and I know, I'm like
I haven't even watched a single game, to be honest,
I'm like, just like, may go Maxico Mexico, you know.
And then I was telling my dad and you know,
with like for July being here, like I was like,
he's like looking for his shirt, like like my USA shirt,
(01:06:28):
Like you know, I'm like I feel like a little
weird celebrating right now.
Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
And then he was like miha, like just because we have.
Speaker 26 (01:06:35):
A leader right now, that kind of sucks, like it
does not matter like this country gave me opportunity, Like
I came to this country, I was able to buy
a house, gave me a family, like and right now, yes,
it's it's hard times, you know, like it's it's different.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
As and then I was like, wow.
Speaker 26 (01:06:52):
All right, dad, like he kind of opened my eyes
and like I was like, you know what that's true,
like because he came here, Like oh, that's why I'm here,
like you know.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
And and and it is a little different right now.
It feels a little different.
Speaker 33 (01:07:04):
But yeah, I was gonna play that Kamala Harris one.
Speaker 7 (01:07:26):
I already had it on cue.
Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
For your dad.
Speaker 26 (01:07:28):
Yeah, you know, and he makes some sense, and it's
like that's true, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Yeah, yeah, and the administration for whatever you you know,
agree or disagree with it. It's it's a little while
and and and you know, it is does feel a
little different because my algorithm with social media, my algorithm
delivers a lot of craziness to me.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
I see a lot of see a lot of racism,
I see I see a lot of different things. And
you know, the these new entitlements and all this kind
of stuff. So so my algorithm is a little darker,
and that's why I was telling you I got to
change my algorithm. But but I can understand what your
pops is talking about. I'm an American, I pay my taxes,
we work hard, everything that that that's here, man, And
sometimes you don't want to give up because somebody is
(01:08:14):
making you feel a certain you know what I'm saying.
So I can hear that. And with us celebrating two
hundred and fifty years of America America, hey man, we're
going to come back and we're going to do the
how well do you know America?
Speaker 10 (01:08:31):

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
All right, and we're going to come back and we're
going to do a full how well do you know America?
Speaker 7 (01:08:59):
That was hard?
Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
But you know what's crazy, man?
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
When you see people they say, oh, you know, they
became legal, you know, residents or you know this the
test to be and that's for sure, gos to becoming Amazon,
the test of citizenships. I think that most people, if
not all of us, would fail that test.
Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
Well, then let me just own it. I would fail
that test. Do you know what I'm saying? I would
fail that test.
Speaker 10 (01:09:27):

talking about how your dad had to tell you know,
we've had some great opportunities here, yeah, and made you
realize this, you know, yeah, more beauty.
Speaker 26 (01:10:05):
Yeah, like my parents are and to me, yeah, of course,
it's like, you know, we're seeing this, but he's like,
you know, this country gave me opportunity.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Hey man, so so health And people say it easy,
and people say all health as wealth. But seeing you
here and walking into the neighborhood, bro, and the celebration
continues because we were just sitting here talking about Port
of Miami, right, And I'm like, it's crazy that you're
a veteran and extremely relevant at the same time on
all angles, not just music. Because when we when we
(01:17:51):
say like the Boss, we know exactly who we're talking about.
You know what I'm saying, There's been this stay in
power that you have. Did you see that early on
that at some point you look up and it'll be
decades later and still extremely fresh.
Speaker 10 (01:18:06):
No, I can't say I seen it.
Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:18:08):
Now, I just knew my passion for the game, the
way I love making records, the way I love doing
what I do, It's gonna you know, I knew it
would be a long time before I sat it down
or just you know when you know, I love it.
I love making records, but I love going out. I
(01:18:29):
love going to the parties. Love the BET Awards. You know,
you get to see Lauryn Hill, you get to see
Janet Jackson, you get to see the future, our cons,
the Dose Shades, you get to see Cardi B. You know.
So for me being a fan of hip.
Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
Hop, you've always been a fan of music and hip hop.
Speaker 10 (01:18:46):
As long as I could remember, man, from the beginning
of life.
Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
That's got to be amazing to you as well, because
at one point, you just want one opportunity.
Speaker 4 (01:18:54):
That's what you want. One song on the radio, one video.
Speaker 10 (01:18:57):
You just focused on that first. Once you get a
first hit record and you begin discussing the album, the
potential you making an album, and you get a budget
to do an album, you just want to deliver on
that album, right, You're not thinking of two three albums.
You're not thinking of that. It took me.
Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
It took you ten years for what.
Speaker 10 (01:19:17):
To make My first record, my first single, every damn Hustling.
I put out man at least fifteen to twenty mixtapes
before that.
Speaker 4 (01:19:24):
What felt different?
Speaker 10 (01:19:25):
What felt different to me. One of the biggest changes
that I did well, really I embraced was when I
made my first hit record, Every Damn Hustling. That caught
the attention of every producer in the world. And once
I did that, now I'm receiving beats from the best
producers in the world, and the game changed from right
(01:19:49):
at that moment. Oh it's over. That's That's the only
thing I said. There are a pressure to that too, though,
it's always a pressure to deliver. Yeah, because it's life
for death. It's gonna make or break you. You're gonna
swim a drown. It's on you.
Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
And hip hop is thick on finicky bro. You know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
Even now we here, we love you in the morning
and can hate you at night.
Speaker 10 (01:20:13):
Oh that's the way it goes, you know what I'm saying,
And you got to embrace that. Okay, cool, that's one
of the things that come with being an artist and
then entertainment business. That's cool. But what I'm gonna do
is give you this good dope.
Speaker 4 (01:20:26):
Rose.
Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
We're not gonna let you go. Y'all, continue to hang out.
What's in the neighborhood. We got more with Rick Ross
the Boss in the neighborhood, Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (01:20:33):
Hello, you're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:20:38):
Big Boy Neighborhood. Back up being here with Rose the Boss,
Rick Ross.
Speaker 4 (01:20:43):
Talk to me about the album. Man.
Speaker 10 (01:20:45):
You know, once again, the title of the album is
set in Stone. And you know, I was working on
my house on Star Island, and you know, it's an
amazing investment, but it's also my dream crib. And when
the construction company he told me we had thirty five
tons of marble in this home. We've never done this.
Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
I'm like, yo, And that's on Star Island.
Speaker 10 (01:21:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
So that's not even the that's not even the house
where you do the car shows at No. Yes, yeah, yeah, Okay,
so you got the promence land and then starts filing.
Speaker 10 (01:21:19):
Five thousand square feet and fifty five thousand square feet.
Speaker 4 (01:21:24):
Amen. Have you ever forgot somebody was at your house?
Speaker 10 (01:21:27):
No, I'm gonna tell you. We had a party before
and two days later.
Speaker 4 (01:21:30):
Somebody popped up.
Speaker 10 (01:21:31):
Yeah, started even flushing toilet. Amen.
Speaker 2 (01:21:46):
But that's also a hard work determination. Everything that goes
under under like having that. You know what I'm saying,
cause you don't just get that. You gotta work for that.
But did you ever think when you say fifty five
thousand squares of living space? As a kid, we know
we want something, but as as a realist, did you
see that?
Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
Like?
Speaker 11 (01:22:07):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
And that's just one.
Speaker 10 (01:22:10):
So I bought my first home. I bought in Atlanta.
I bought maybe three blocks from the Holy Field of
State and I bought it. It had eight bedrooms itself,
three floors. I put three studios in it.
Speaker 4 (01:22:25):
Is that I made it house.
Speaker 10 (01:22:26):
That's that was one of those I made it houses.
But the motivation and the reason I bought it is
so I could ride past the Holy Field Crib. The motivation, yeah,
I'm gonna turn that into yeah, the Biggest Boss Highway,
you know what I'm saying. But I just wanted to
ride by for that motivation, because real estate instructures do
(01:22:47):
something to me for me. So that's what I did.
And man, I rode by. And one day I rolled
by and saw a red sign that was on the
gate with a number. I told them, driver, turn around
the number. Let's call them. What's happening? What y'all doing
with this? And they let us know they was auction
ended off.
Speaker 4 (01:23:07):
Wait, so is that holy Field's home?
Speaker 10 (01:23:09):
That was holy Field's home, the holy Field of State? Oh,
what it was?
Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
Because I remember even what that when holy Field had it,
what that felt like, because remember it was his street,
and like you've seen it in every Man. I didn't
and I could have been missing something, but I didn't
know that that was the same crib. So that's your
eye I made in moment, not that you brought Brother's
house and it was no, no situation, But that's your
I made it. Like this the house, it's like I'm
(01:23:37):
looking at three hundred plus acres. I'm looking at a
fifty five thousand square for the state, the largest residence.
Speaker 10 (01:23:44):
Want to this is the Holy Field of State. Wait,
I gotta yeah. I bought a house three blocks away. Okay,
let's say for maybe two and a half million dollars
three blocks away, and I was riding up and down
that street I saw the sign on the Holy Field
of State.
Speaker 4 (01:24:00):
Call him, So is that the promised land?
Speaker 10 (01:24:02):
Now that's the promised land?
Speaker 11 (01:24:03):
Now?
Speaker 10 (01:24:06):
Yes, there was one song.
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
Body fifty five thousand squares of living.
Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
In fact, you know what's crazy when you can have
like car shows and barbecues and if you laid enough
seen men, you can have a runway at the man.
Speaker 10 (01:24:18):
You know, you know the ideas I'm thinking. Possibly next
could be an eighteen whole private golf course, or we
could turn it into a community.
Speaker 2 (01:24:27):
Rose, you got time to hang out with us, We
would not let you go, my brother, y'all continue to
hang out with us in the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (01:24:32):
We got more with Rick Ross in the neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (01:24:34):
Go to the neighborhood anytime, anywhere, twenty four to seven.
This is the Big Boys Neighborhood Podcast, Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
Yes, we are back in the neighborhood with Rose Rick Ross.
Speaker 4 (01:24:47):
Hello, I want to do something real quick with you, Bro.
Speaker 2 (01:24:50):
I just want to ask you some When was the
last time two weas all right, so we're just going
to get into some When was the last time When.
Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
Was the last time Rose, pop you pumped your own gas?
Speaker 10 (01:25:01):
I did that on maybe two weeks ago.
Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
Were you shooting the video video playing?
Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
So when was the last time you val I had
to touch it? When was the last time Rose? When
was the last time you had to parallel park your
own car? Because you got enough driveway where you could
just got the carway.
Speaker 4 (01:25:27):
Yeah, because you don't have to parallel park you.
Speaker 10 (01:25:29):
No, no, you just get out where you want to.
Speaker 9 (01:25:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
So when was the last time you have to literally,
like back into our parallel park in my driveway?
Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
No, just anywhere street wherever.
Speaker 10 (01:25:39):
I don't know. Sometimes I go pull up at the
mother little restaurants. I usually just jump out getting the valet.
They know that's what comes with that.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
Hunting right right right, give you then that's him doing
a hundred to you.
Speaker 10 (01:25:49):
Got I ain't gonna give you the thirty. I'm gonna
give you a hunting give you the honeybun. Yeah it
right here you front you parallel parking? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's usually how When.
Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
Was the last time you stood in the regular line,
like what like just at a grocery store and I
went to Costco Film and.
Speaker 3 (01:26:08):
Content.
Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
Are you a Costco member?
Speaker 11 (01:26:11):
Nah?
Speaker 10 (01:26:12):
I ain't no Costco.
Speaker 4 (01:26:12):
You don't have to be. When was the last time
you got pulled over? Like driving?
Speaker 10 (01:26:17):
Maybe maybe a year ago? I was in one of
my car. Yeah, I was in one of my cars.
I'm going through a part of Miami that you know,
they don't usually see one of these cars in the
roadse race I had. I had it wrapped, so when
they ran the tag, it said it was one color guy,
but the car was rapped. So they put the whole
task for us on me. I cracked the window, a
(01:26:38):
little smoke came out, and then they see I said,
what is Rose? Rose? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:26:46):
Now I would have definitely locked you up.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
When was the last time you actually had to like
you went and checked your bank account?
Speaker 10 (01:26:53):
What you mean went and checked.
Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
Or just called? Or like if I went to that
and I know you.
Speaker 10 (01:26:59):
Spoke like you my money person?
Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Yeah, he said, yeah, yeah, because we'll stay in touch.
Speaker 10 (01:27:06):
You know what I say? Yes, that's like you. You
you forced to be. Damn, they're like family. Let me
ask you, we genuinely got love for each I'm going
to I want to show you how how rose that sounds.
Speaker 2 (01:27:19):
And and take note of this, Louis, do you have
a money person?
Speaker 3 (01:27:23):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:27:23):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
There it is you see how you how normal you
made that? You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
It was okay?
Speaker 4 (01:27:32):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
If I went to the ATM with you, right and
one of your biggest accounts and you pulled off twenty
dollars and that receipt came out, what would the.
Speaker 4 (01:27:43):
Balance be on that.
Speaker 10 (01:27:47):
Be a sentence.
Speaker 4 (01:27:48):
Yeah, exactly. Hey man, I asked will Smith that.
Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
I said, well, I said, if I went to the
ATM with you and you pulled out, he said, it
would have so many zeros in it.
Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
He said it looked like it said.
Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
Oh you say you're in't been to the ATM in
twenty five years?
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
Long time, man, I'll go with you right now. Let's
finish this up.
Speaker 10 (01:28:09):
I ain't even got no car like that.
Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
Rose.
Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
Definitely want to thank you for coming into the neighborhood.

Speaker 10 (01:28:45):
Fifty buff.
Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
Yeah, man, a person. Had you met fifty before? Yeah,
I'm pretty sure, world.
Speaker 34 (01:28:50):
I never saw him on the little suits. That suit, yeah,
that suit, you go. It looked like big man teeny suit.
Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
Shred there you go, all right, and you know fifty,
I'm scaring fifty two.
Speaker 34 (01:29:08):
But you know it was love because at the end
of the day, my family.
Speaker 10 (01:29:11):
Is a big black brand.
Speaker 4 (01:29:13):
Oh yeah, fifty is a big black brand.
Speaker 34 (01:29:15):
What I'm not gonna do is be out here beefing
with other big black brands. They ain't that many of us. Yeah,
just because you have an opinion about something. Still, you know,
sometimes you learn lesson My name is Bennett.
Speaker 10 (01:29:29):
I ain't in it. Don't ask me about that. I
don't know. I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (01:29:35):
See when I come on here, I always get in trouble.
Y'all be clipping me up. You you done blown up?
Speaker 10 (01:29:40):
My career done. God a scary movie. I was canceled
three times. The damn neighborhood.

Thank you for listening.

It is you find a big boy big boys neighborhood.
You can catch more of us right here on iHeart Radio.
Speaker 11 (01:29:52):
Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (01:29:53):
Alrighty, pleasure to have this man back in the neighborhood, ygi,
welcome back to the neighborhood, my bro, what you you
you welcome back man? Hey man, We've done this a lot,
and you know what I love about doing this a
lot sitting down with you, bro, is you continue to
come back. Your pen game and your concepts in this
album is remarkable to me.
Speaker 4 (01:30:15):
Bro Like, and I'm talking about when you listen to
the album.
Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
You listen to the album because I listened to the
end of every song because the whole body of music
and the whole song. Once you get to the end,
I'm like, oh, you know what I'm saying, Like hit Man,
I heard that one, and I'm listening to the story
that you're building, So you're actually building. It's like a movie.
To me, I'm watching what's going down with hit Man.
(01:30:40):
But then I didn't catch the hints that was in
hit Man. And then when I got to the end
of hit Man, I was like, oh, the hit you know,
and I don't want to mess it up for anybody else,
but the album's out. The hit was on you. But
there's a line in there where you say that dude
that you want the hit on got shot in the
inn even limps.
Speaker 4 (01:31:00):
You know what I'm saying, That totally got past me.
Speaker 2 (01:31:03):
You know, so writing that, bro, like your headspace gotta
be different. Was there something that felt different when you
started writing this project?
Speaker 35 (01:31:13):
It is like me just just like taking my time
and being intentional. Like no, I'm like, I'm finna do
my best, like with every song, like it's gonna be
a lot of thought behind this and it's gonna be
substance and all that, like you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 19 (01:31:27):
That's the only difference.
Speaker 35 (01:31:28):
You know, Like the project just took me like a
long time to finish because when I started the album,
like I had the Gentlemen's Club world and like the
theme and the look, but you know, I didn't know
how like the story you know I was telling, Like
I didn't know how I was gonna start. I didn't
know how I was gonna end. But as I was
(01:31:49):
sitting dealing with life, you know what I'm saying, as
I'm working on this album, like I was just going,
I was just busting down and songs was coming and
I'm like, oh yeah, like I'm beefing with myself right now,
Like you know what I'm saying. My wool myself, Like
how I get through this? I got to kill the
old met like already bet hit man king first, like
the last song on my album was like the first
(01:32:12):
song I made, you know what I'm saying. That was
like deep concept like and it was the mid life
crisis song like where I killed myself at the end.
Speaker 19 (01:32:21):
But I had that one first.
Speaker 10 (01:32:23):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:32:24):
I'm like, you're like where I go from here too?
Speaker 35 (01:32:26):
Now, Gig, I'm like, all right, killing myself Like my
mission and life at that time was that, you know
what I'm saying. So I made that record Boom and
it's like, all right, beg, I'm just recording and you
know I recorded Hollywood and all them records before I
had like concept records. But you know, when I got
(01:32:46):
the concept record, I'm like, all right, best. So I'm like, okay,
like this makes sense. This is what I'm on in life?
Speaker 10 (01:32:52):
Cool? You feel me?
Speaker 35 (01:32:53):
This the concept of the album like from now, I'm
working backwards. So it's like, how do I get it?
Like how did I get here? You know what I'm saying,
How did I get to this point in the world?
I killed myself? You feel me? So that really just
made me even going even more on myself. It's like,
you know, like all right, you know what I'm saying,
I gotta address you feel me the issues like I
gotta boom and then just the whole process of like
(01:33:15):
dealing with them or like trying to deal with them.
So you know, like in order to kill yourself, you're
gonna have a thought like damn, I think it's times
for me to go, you know, so you feel me?
Speaker 2 (01:33:26):
That was the hit man, YG man. We're not gonna
let you go. You got time to hang out with
us a little bit more.
Speaker 10 (01:33:30):
Oh, were bulling? Were bulling?
Speaker 2 (01:33:32):
There it is y'all still grind y'all radios that got
more of YG in the neighborhood.
Speaker 4 (01:33:35):
Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (01:33:36):
So can't move out of the neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (01:33:38):
Huh, why don't you stay with us a little longer
and make sure to watch the best moments from Big
Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (01:33:44):
Now on you too, big We are back with our
frame of the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (01:33:51):
YG in the neighborhood.
Speaker 4 (01:33:52):
When somebody says it's your fault?
Speaker 19 (01:33:54):
Right?
Speaker 4 (01:33:55):
Is that hard to hear?
Speaker 2 (01:33:56):
Nah?
Speaker 35 (01:33:56):
Not really, because like for me, I be needing to
hear like all of you know what I'm saying, like
this stuff like keep it gangster with me at all time?
Speaker 4 (01:34:03):
So does it depend on who it comes from?
Speaker 35 (01:34:06):
No, that definitely like matter because if nobody who you
don't really rock with like that get up on you
and start talking about like whatever they talking about, you
ain't gonna like receive it, like you're gonna play defense
or whatever. You know what I'm saying. So that matter
for sure. But yeah, like Sycamore that helped me with
this album. So he came, he put up on me
like hey, bro, what you own? Like I'm just telling him,
(01:34:26):
like y'all got this concept, but this idea of the
gentleman's club, black tied fear, you know what I'm saying,
John Wick, Meek Schevern's.
Speaker 10 (01:34:33):
And all that, and he like he like, he like, yeah,
but what you own?
Speaker 30 (01:34:36):
Though?
Speaker 35 (01:34:36):
Like musically like I'm like, man, you know, I feel
like the world up, everybody beck up?
Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
And he like, why you feel like that?
Speaker 35 (01:34:43):
I'm just like, nah, people playing with men respect on
my name as a rapper, as an artist, Like you know,
I'm coming from my respect and all that. Son, He like, yeah,
that's how you feel. I'm like, I'm like yeah, I'm
tripping tripping on everybody. So he like, bro, I think
I think you did that to yourself. And I'm like
huh he like yeah, like you remember she was on
I'm like, what do you mean? He was like, after
you dropped My Crazy Life, like you start looking into
(01:35:05):
your deal. You seen your deals messed up, and he
really wasn't feeling it. You told everybody like, I'm not
doing no more real album. I'm just gonna do it
get out like my deal. Like so he like, you
don't remember that.
Speaker 4 (01:35:16):
I'm like, yeah, I do remember that. He's like, yeah,
so all this is your fut right.
Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
I was like, damn, bro, at some point do you
want to be like, man, get the fuck out of here.
Speaker 4 (01:35:28):
You are you just understood, like damn.
Speaker 35 (01:35:30):
Now because it's a fact, because like I was really
going around telling everybody that, like whoever worked with me,
whoever was around you know what I'm saying, from My
Crazy Life to like twenty twenty twenty one, twenty two,
Like that's what I was on, Like everybody knows.
Speaker 2 (01:35:44):
But when when you look at where you are and
it sounds crazy and to say, oh, where you are now,
But there's a difference to when I listened to this album,
and when I listen to the album The Gentlemen's Club,
It's like, people can call it what they want. They
can call it growth, they can call it therapeutic. What
you did with this album is by design. This is
(01:36:04):
what you felt like you could have done. But the
timing of this feels different too.
Speaker 3 (01:36:09):
Though.
Speaker 35 (01:36:09):
This album sounds like what it sounded like because during
this time of me making this album, you know what I'm saying,
I was going.
Speaker 19 (01:36:15):
Through Yeah, like a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:36:16):
You can hear it.
Speaker 35 (01:36:17):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So I was going
through a lot. I was like it was dark, you
know what I'm saying. So like that's why the album
sounds like what it sound like, you know what I'm saying.
But me putting together like a real body of work,
you feel me, That's that's just gonna happen every time,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 19 (01:36:33):
So, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 35 (01:36:34):
The next album, like it probably won't sound like that,
but you know like it's gonna feel like a real album.
Speaker 4 (01:36:40):
Yg man, We're not gonna let you go. You got
time to hang out with us a little bit more.
Speaker 10 (01:36:43):
Oh were bulling? Were bulling.
Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
There it is, y'all still grind y'all Radios got more
of YG in the neighborhood, Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (01:36:49):
You're listening to the Big Boys Neighborhood.
Speaker 4 (01:36:51):
Podcast Gentlemen's Club.
Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
We got the gentleman himself YG back in the neighborhood.
The Kendrick also tell you stop putting out albums to
just get off the label.
Speaker 4 (01:37:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:37:02):
Nah.
Speaker 35 (01:37:02):
So, like I was hollering at Bro, like before I
played like everybody the album.
Speaker 10 (01:37:08):
You know what I'm saying. I let him know the world.
Speaker 35 (01:37:10):
You know what I'm saying, the intentions and like my
goal with the album, but like I won't give away
like the story. You know what I'm saying. I'm just
going going and I play it right. So as I'm
telling him like my intentions and all that and the
same thing I told you, he was just like she
was doing that And.
Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
I'm like, yeah, I was doing that. He was like, yeah,
you tripping, but you do.
Speaker 10 (01:37:36):
I was like, yeah, bro, like you know what I'm saying.
That's what I said. Part of them up.
Speaker 35 (01:37:39):
I'm trying to kill Like I felt like.
Speaker 19 (01:37:42):
You play me.
Speaker 3 (01:37:43):
I'm frona play them like crashed out.
Speaker 4 (01:37:46):
That's crazy.
Speaker 10 (01:37:47):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:37:47):
Do you ever think how much you could have lost
or you could have lost it all by the crash
outs or.
Speaker 35 (01:37:52):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a crash out baby, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:37:57):
And are you a pisces?
Speaker 2 (01:37:58):
Yeah, because even I forget it was when it was,
You're like, I'm a pisceys And I don't know if
you say something about being soft, it's something in there
in my room.
Speaker 4 (01:38:07):
Okay, Okay, yeah, yeah you really listen to out?
Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
No, I really did, Bro, Like I ain't. If I didn't,
I'll be like, oh, you know, talk to you men
about it. You know what I'm saying. But nah, Like
and even then, Bro, there's like there's this thing of
the enough's gotta be hard enough, blood enough, corporate enough,
this enough. And there's a lot of enough that I
feel we all got, but there's a lot of enoughs
that you gotta feel too. And then with your enoughs,
(01:38:32):
you gotta be yg enough, you gotta be homey enough,
you gotta be blood.
Speaker 4 (01:38:36):
There's that there's these enoughs.
Speaker 11 (01:38:38):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
Did you feel in this project too that you learn
that there was just some people or some things that
you can no longer quit too.
Speaker 35 (01:38:45):
Like people and yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, like a
lot of like like it's a lot of things in
life that I've didn't realize. You gotta lead that alone.
I gotta I gotta slow down on that. I gotta
switch that up. You know, it's a battle, like you
know what I'm I'm saying, We still better, we.
Speaker 4 (01:39:03):
Know the truth was that?
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
Was that a song that you felt it was necessary
and the timing was right now?
Speaker 35 (01:39:11):
Yeah, it was necessary for sure, and the timing was
for sure right now because it's like too many people.
It was like it's too much going on, like streaks
all the way, law live bike. So it's like it's
certain things like you don't even speak on you know
what I'm saying, You don't talk you know. So that's
what took me so long to just say anything, cause
(01:39:31):
like nobody talking about that. Like it's certain things like
you don't even talk about you know what I'm saying,
if you ain't involved any whatever, it's like you don't
even talk about that. So but it's like I'm only
gonna take so much, you know what I'm saying, People
saying whatever, family tapping in like all this, and it's
like nah, Bro, like, Nah, I'll say something.
Speaker 2 (01:39:51):
Did you feel like that's the song where I'm going
to address this once and everything is in there?
Speaker 35 (01:39:57):
Oh yeah, sure the show and it was like, I'm like,
I'm gonna say something. You know, it's a gentleman's club.
I'm gonna be very respectful.
Speaker 4 (01:40:05):
