Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to the neighborhood, anytime, anywhere, 24-7, on demand. This
is the Big Boys Neighborhood Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Big Boys Neighborhood, Luigi is up in here, man.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
This is like a crime court trial update that we
got right now.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
A little crime podcast going on right now. First of all,
let's talk about David, what's happening with the David trial.
Something really crazy happened where his attorney's like, Kind of
fell off.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 6 (00:30):
A stunning twist inside a downtown L.A. courtroom today. Lawyers
for the singer David have withdrawn from his case. A
reason for their withdrawal was not provided, but legal analysts
say it could be related to finances. The singer will
now be represented by a public defender. Earlier today, the
family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez issuing a statement saying that
Burke is not indigent but is hiding his money in
(00:50):
various corporations. The change in representation comes as David also
once again pleaded not guilty in connection with the murder
of the 14-year-old.
Speaker 7 (00:59):
The district attorney's office is ready to proceed to prove
all three charges beyond a reasonable doubt, leading eventually to
a sentence of life without the possibility of parole, or
if we so choose, the death penalty.
Speaker 6 (01:14):
Singer David is due back in court in October for
a pretrial hearing.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
If not him, who? Yeah, exactly, bro. So much evidence.
The lawyers and attorneys are probably like, this is not
a winnable case.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, and I'm wondering if they really leave for finances
or if they're just like, bro, we not.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
What are we doing here? Yeah, man, what are we
doing here?
Speaker 3 (01:32):
So that's a case that'll continue that we have to watch.
And also now with Dwayne Keefe D.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Davis.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Yeah, that result. And it only took a couple hours
for the jury to decide.
Speaker 8 (01:41):
Chakur, less than an hour ago, the jury came back unanimous,
affirming what Davis has spent years admitting publicly.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
We, the jury in the.
Speaker 8 (01:49):
Above entitled case, find the defendant Dwayne Keefe Davis as follows.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Count one murder with use of a deadly weapon.
Speaker 9 (01:54):
Guilty of first degree murder with use of.
Speaker 10 (01:56):
A deadly weapon.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Date of this 31st date of August 2026.
Speaker 8 (02:00):
It took the jury less than three hours to reach
that verdict, guilty of first degree murder. Prosecutors had told
jurors to believe the various statements Davis had made over
30 years admitting to the crime, including a book he
published admitting his involvement in Tupac's murder. Davis is not
accused of pulling the trigger that killed Shakur, but instead
of orchestrating the shooting and providing the gun, Defense attorneys
(02:21):
had told the jury there was no evidence to back
up Davis' previous claims of involvement.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Man, he might as well have put his hand on
the Bible and his other hand up and just said,
I did it. Dude, they were just playing back his
interviews and reading his book.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
There was one funny clip that I saw where somebody
was asking, so you didn't ask for immunity?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
He's like, nah. I didn't ask for immunity. What did
you ask for then, bro? But they were saying that
he did have immunity.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
We have to try to figure that out because we
got our good friend Nima Romani that we're going to
bring into the neighborhood. And Nima knows pretty much everything
about the case. So we're going to really talk to
him and get a real deep dive. He's our neighborhood
expert from West Coast Trial Lawyers. So we bring Nima
Ramani into the neighborhood as well. Y'all continue to hang
with us in the neighborhood. Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (03:10):
You're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Dwayne Keefy D. Davis found guilty, ladies and gentlemen. We're
going to go to our guy, the voice of West
Coast trial lawyers, the one that we always go to
in moments like this. We're going to bring Nima Romani
into the neighborhood. Nima, hello.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Big, how are you?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I'm doing good. I know, man. What's going down?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
First off, we got to say I saw this one coming, Nima.
But I wanted to ask you for those out there.
Keefy D did not actually shoot Tupac. So how do
you come back with convicted of murder?
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Big, you can be convicted of murder even if you
don't pull the trigger. If you're the shot caller, the
prosecution proved that he was the criminal mastermind. He ordered
the hit. He was in the front seat. He got
the gun. He passed it to someone in the backseat.
Maybe his nephew, maybe the other passenger who pulled the
trigger and shot the fatal rounds that killed Tupac.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Man, I'm watching this trial, and I've been looking at
Keefy D doing interviews for years, the book that he wrote,
you know, and it's kind of like he's telling it
on himself. Did he actually talk and walk himself into prison?
Big time.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Kifidi will go down as the world's dumbest criminal. First,
he opened his mouth, talked to the Federal Drug Task Force,
then the BET documentary, and, of course, the tell-all memoir, man.
Just keep your mouth shut. If he didn't talk, he'd
probably be out of prison right now.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
So if there were no interviews, no booking, even when
he was with the defense, when he brought the director
of the BET documentary, And he even tried to say that,
you know, a lot of that was just fictional and
just made up. And the director, the producer was like, no, no.
He even tried to do like a subtle way.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Did you see when he kind of shook his head?
Speaker 5 (04:58):
The prosecution didn't have any evidence corroborating what he said.
They couldn't even put him in Vegas on the night
Tupac was killed. But because he kept telling the same
story over and over again. And when police raided his home,
they found all these newspaper clippings from 30 years ago.
Related to Tupac murders. So they argue that, look, this
(05:21):
is a guy who kept trophies, right, of his killing.
And he told everyone. And they brought a bunch of
former gang members who said, look, there's no way his nephew,
Orlando Anderson, could have pulled the trigger unless he gave
the order because he was senior in the Crips, the organization.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Now, let me ask you.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Now, everybody keeps saying, and I also thought, too, that
Keefie D had this, like, immunity thing. What kind of
immunity did he have or did he have no immunity
at all?
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Great question, Big. He had immunity in L.A., but the
problem is we're talking about Vegas. L.A. can't bind another jurisdiction, Vegas,
and the immunity only applies if you keep it confidential
because he kept talking about it. He breached and waived
his own immunity agreement.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Man, when they just started playing back interviews, bro, I
was like, you might as well just put the handcuffs
on yourself. Like, why even waste the time of going
through a trial? And I want to ask you this.
We always been like there was always this thing in
hip hop like, man, they didn't solve Biggie's murder. They
didn't solve Tupac's murder. And we're looking at something that's been,
you know, three decades. How do they finally get to
(06:30):
a point now where it's almost 30 years later? How
do they finally prosecute something like this when it seemed like.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
It's been there?
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Big, I got to give credit to the DA's office.
Every other prosecutor that considered this case, they passed on it.
They thought it was too hard. There wasn't enough evidence.
So finally, I have a DA in Vegas that decides
to pick up a case against all odds. I'm going
to be honest. I thought there was a good chance
this might go not guilty. Because they didn't have a
lot of evidence. They really didn't. The DA was supposed
(06:59):
to go for more than a month. They only wrapped
up their case in a week and a half. But
they took a hard case. They brought justice to Tupac's
family in a case where no one had touched it
for decades. So you've got to give credit to Often prosecutors,
they want to take the easy cases, cases where there's
overwhelming evidence that this wasn't it. And finally, after 30 years,
(07:23):
someone has been held responsible for Tupac's murder.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Neem, I'm going to hold you right there. We're going
to come back.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
There's a few more things I want to speak to
you about the KPD murder conviction for Tupac.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Y'all continue to hang out with us in the neighborhood.
Big Boy Neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (07:38):

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Big Boy's Neighborhood, back up in here.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
West Coast Trial Lawyers, our good friend Nima Rahmani. We're
speaking on Dwayne Keefy D.
Speaker 10 (07:55):
Davis.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Were you surprised when they came back that fast? after deliberation,
the jury?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
I was.
Speaker 10 (08:02):
Look, you're right.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
No fingerprints. No witnesses. There's not a single person that
puts him in a white Cadillac or even puts him
in Las Vegas on the day Tupac was shot.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
They don't have their murder weapon.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
But here's the thing. But Big, listen, his story's changed.
After Biggie Smalls was killed in 97, he told LAPD
he had nothing to do with the murder. And then
he told this outlandish story that Diddy offered him a
million dollars to kill Tupac and Suge Knight. That hasn't
been corroborated either. So you have this crazy case where
the defense is saying their own client is a liar.
(08:35):
He's a BS or he's full of crap. And then
you have the prosecution that's saying, no, no, no, no.
He's actually telling the truth. It's bizarre. I've never covered
a case like this.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Now, everybody's saying like, oh, Tupac's murder is finally like
it's finally solved. Is that the case is Tupac's murder
finally solved or do we still have like unanswered questions?
Speaker 5 (08:55):
We have a lot of unanswered questions. We still don't
know who pulled the trigger. Was it Orlando Anderson, Kifidi's nephew?
Was it someone else in the vehicle? And of course,
everyone else in the vehicle is dead. The driver, the
two backseat passengers, really the only person that can answer
the questions is really Suge Knight. He, of course, was
driving Tupac's vehicle, but he's not snitching, right?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Right. 30 years of mystery.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
And we see an ending right now and we see
that the jury come back after deliberations for a couple
or a few hours. Why do you with a deliberation
and a verdict coming back that fast?
Speaker 2 (09:30):
What did that tell you, Nima?
Speaker 5 (09:32):
That means the prosecution's case was overwhelming, a swift release.
A decisive verdict like that means that the prosecution proved
their case, not just beyond a reasonable doubt, beyond a
shadow of the doubt. They crushed it big.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Man, I appreciate you, Nima Ramani, West Coast trial lawyers.
And this is a case that's still not going to
go away because Keefie D, of course, he said he's appealing. So,
you know, this and we got so many others. Man,
my wife been watching that. It's so many murders. in
court right now. Man, but I appreciate you, Neiman.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
We're going to holler at you, my brother.
Speaker 10 (10:06):
Thanks, Big.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
Yeah, Lindsey Clancy's a big one. Everyone's watching that.
Speaker 10 (10:10):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
My wife is watching that like a novella. I come
home and it's on. But I appreciate you. That's Nima
Ramani right there, West Coast Trial Lawyers, ladies and gentlemen.
Y'all continue to hang out with us in the neighborhood,

Speaker 9 (10:35):
I believe that what I've done and what I've been
able to do in my career is better for Latino
people than it would be if I had never existed.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Right. So why don't we worry about that? The opportunities,
the shows, the writers, the people you employed.
Speaker 9 (10:48):
Let's look at that instead of looking at whether I'm
Latino enough. I mean, listen, Somebody said, did you get
your nose done? I said, and left it like this?
And it keeps growing as you get older. In six years,
I'm going to be like, all right, stop what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
My name is Humpty.

All righty, now, what red flag did you see but
ignored it? All righty, what red flag did you see
but ignored it? Let's go to Maura on two. Maura?
Maura on two. All right, let's go now with Maura
up in here. Maura, hello.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
Hello.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Hello there, Maura.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Maura, what city are you calling from?
Speaker 12 (12:04):
From Compton.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Eric Compton in the house.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
All righty now, Maura from Compton. What red flag did
you see but ignored it? Don't say when the game
threw it on my head. What red flag did you
see but ignored.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
It, Maura?
Speaker 12 (12:21):
Oh, man, it was that he was argumentative because I
was so peaceful and he was just, like, scared about that.
That's the rest I got ignored.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
What?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
So he was argumentative, like, he would like to argue
and you were so peaceful, you said he was scared
of that.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
What do you mean by that?
Speaker 12 (12:39):
Yeah, like, he was scared that I was so peaceful,
so he, like, looked for something to argue about. And
it's like, what?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Wait, that ain't Blueface? What's going on? All right, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
And you say that you kind of saw that early,
but you ignored it.
Speaker 12 (12:55):
Yes, I ignored it. Like, okay, maybe, you know, he
never met anyone that's just, like, so, you know, like
a cool breeze.
Speaker 13 (13:01):
Just, okay.
Speaker 12 (13:03):
Very optimistic. He just was like, well, let me find
something to ruffle her feathers.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah, he's like over there like, yeah, look at her
reading the Bible. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
All up in Deuteronomy.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
He's like, oh, man. Yeah. You going to church again? Oh, man.
You'll be reading the Bible today, huh?
Speaker 3 (13:24):
On a Sunday? Okay.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Okay. I can't take this. Oh, peaceful.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Over there talking about mental therapy and clarity.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
If you want to get out, we're going for a walk.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
You know what? I'm out. I can't do this.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
You've been toxic, man.
Speaker 12 (13:37):
And that was the thing, too.
Speaker 10 (13:38):
Like, I walk.
Speaker 12 (13:39):
I like to walk for like an hour or two.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
And he's like.
Speaker 12 (13:43):
You enjoy that?
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Where you walking to? You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Man.
Speaker 14 (13:51):
Walked out of my life.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Walked out of my life?
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah. You're trying to walk out of my life, huh?
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Who you walking with?
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Man, why you got your AirPods in? What's going on
with you? What you listening to? Who telling you to walk?
Can't you just be in thought? Oh, no, you got
to be with something. Okay, okay. Who telling you to walk? Like,
where you walk? Who you meeting when you walk? So, Maura,
are you two no longer together?
Speaker 12 (14:13):
No, we're no longer together.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I heard that. So you really walked out of his
life for real, huh? For real. Period. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Yeah, she was like, why you walking with all that stuff? Now,
what were you saying, Maura?
Speaker 12 (14:27):
I said, yeah, I had to leave. I was like,
it's just too much.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah. I heard that. I'll write it down.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Yeah, it is, man.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Everything's an argument. All right.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Now, what red flag did you see but ignored? Hit
us up, Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
Can't move out of the neighborhood?
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Stay with us a little longer and make sure to
watch the best moments from Big Boy's Neighborhood now on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Big Boy's Neighborhood, what red flag did you see but
you ignored it? We're going to bring D-Down into the neighborhood, man.
All righty, D-Down.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
D-Down, hello.
Speaker 14 (14:59):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Hello there, D-Down. D-Down, what city are you calling from?
Speaker 13 (15:02):
I'm calling from Long Beach.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Long Beach, Strong Beach. If you're caught slipping, it's the
wrong beach. All right, D-Down from Long Beach. D-Down, what
red flag did you see but ignored it?
Speaker 15 (15:11):
Man, I was with this girl, and every time we
left the house, she wanted me to unplug everything in
the house.
Speaker 14 (15:17):
Everything.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Hey, man, you're talking about, like, to save, like, electricity, like,
unplug all this?
Speaker 15 (15:27):
Yeah, I guess her family, they come from, like, they
grew up poor. I don't know how it was from
down south.
Speaker 13 (15:32):
But everything needed to be unplugged, and I would forget,
and we would argue all the time.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
But let me tell you, and people think, but you know,
there's some people that say, oh man, you don't turn
everything off. You understand that. But then there's also people
that say, no, you know, you still be in charge
when things.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Are plugged in. Oh my God. Now, how extreme.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
She didn't want you, of course, she didn't want you
to unplug the refrigerator, but what was some of the things?
Speaker 13 (15:55):
Everything had to be unplugged. She had the refrigerator.
Speaker 15 (15:57):
We bought one of them things from Home Depot with
a little red light on it. We had to turn
that off when we left.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
What? That's crazy. Oh, my God, bro. The fridge, too? Yeah,
that's a hell of a red flag.
Speaker 16 (16:10):
That's like we've seen more, no?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yeah, you turn it off and turn it on.
Speaker 15 (16:14):
Come home, the milk all warm. A lot of times
I'm running late for work, I'll forget. You know what
I'm saying?
Speaker 13 (16:20):
So it's an argument all the time, and it was crazy.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
What would she call you about either at work or
call you on your cell, like, Like, what would she
say you left on?
Speaker 13 (16:28):
Just different things. You left the fan plugged in. I'm like, yeah,
but I turned it off. And it doesn't matter. I
already told you about this, and we going back and forth.
Speaker 10 (16:34):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh, my God. It's a trauma.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
It's a trauma. He said, yeah, but it's turned off.
She's like, no, we talked about this. Right.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
Jesus.
Speaker 6 (16:44):
Right.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
D-Down, how long were y'all together?
Speaker 15 (16:48):
We were together for five years, broke up, and then
I fixed myself. I started turning things off, and we
back together. We still together to this day.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Oh!
Speaker 10 (16:57):
Wow!
Speaker 2 (16:58):
You know what, D-Down? That's a love story. That's a
love story. So the love was bigger than the electricity. Right.
Speaker 15 (17:04):
Yeah, you know what I mean?
Speaker 13 (17:05):
She was a good person, and I understand it's kind
of like it was a thing in her head. It
was kind of like from her family. It ain't her fault.
So now we raising our.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Kids to start unplugging stuff.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
Oh, wait, wait.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Oh, my God, bro.
Speaker 10 (17:18):
Hold on.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
D-Down, you couldn't have brought her to this side.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
You and the whole family went over to that side.
Speaker 13 (17:23):
It was one of them things where you can't join her.
Speaker 15 (17:25):
You know, you can't beat her joining.
Speaker 10 (17:26):
Right.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
That's right. And so now the kids are like that, too?
Speaker 13 (17:30):
Yeah, I got my daughter unplugging everything except her tablet
so it can charge.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Right, except the tablet so it can charge. What about
when you watch it, like, how many times you got
to go back into, like, Netflix or something like that, reset, like,
Apple boxes, like... Are you always having to put your
code in to certain things?
Speaker 13 (17:44):
No, man.
Speaker 15 (17:45):
Everything's automatically, as soon as you plug it in, and
it's automatic setup where it just automatically connects to Wi-Fi, everything.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
So what did you turn off this morning when you left?
Speaker 13 (17:53):
I turned everything off, man. I made sure the fan
was unplugged, the microwave, everything's unplugged.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Wow. That's crazy, bro. I can't even get to my microwave.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Make sure you don't blow the microwave. You're going to
get us in trouble. I heard that, man. Hey, man,
I'm glad we didn't go in on them more. They
still together. Happy wife, happy life. That is, man.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
You said it.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
I pretty much say happy wife, keep your life.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
What red flag did you see but ignore it?
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Hit us up, Big Boy Neighborhoods.
Speaker 10 (18:26):
Welcome to the neighborhood. Anytime, anywhere, 24-7.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
This is the Big Boys Neighborhood Podcast.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Big Boys Neighborhood, what red flag did you see but
you ignored it? We're going to bring Victoria into the
neighborhood and see what's going down with Victoria.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Victoria, hello.
Speaker 17 (18:45):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Hello there, Victoria. Victoria, what city are you calling from?
Speaker 10 (18:49):
Woodland Hills.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Woodland Hills up in here. Victoria from Woodland Hills. What
red flag, Victoria, did you ignore?
Speaker 18 (18:54):
The red flag that I ignored was that I paid
for our first date. And it caused issues along the way,
but I'm still with the guy. And so he's been
a lot better now.
Speaker 12 (19:04):
Right.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
But that was a red flag for you? And you
said it caused issues?
Speaker 18 (19:10):
It caused issues. I paid for the first date.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Right.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Oh, it's kind of an itch.
Speaker 14 (19:14):
Right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I bet she never forgot, too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
She told us right now. Always bring it up, too, yeah.
And you guys are still together?
Speaker 5 (19:22):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
And y'all still together now?
Speaker 3 (19:24):
We're still together now, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
How long has it been, Victoria?
Speaker 18 (19:27):
In almost two years. It'll be two years in November.
Speaker 10 (19:30):
Right.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Does he pick up the bill now?
Speaker 12 (19:31):
Yeah, he does now, thankfully.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
What was the reason why he couldn't pay for the
first date?
Speaker 18 (19:36):
You know, I'll never know. I thought we... Okay, like
I said, it caused issues along the way, but.
Speaker 8 (19:42):
We were on our.
Speaker 18 (19:43):
First date, and she told us, like, how much everything was.
And I waited a few seconds to see, like, if
he was going to reach. in his pockets or, you know,
get the wallet out. And it was just like silent
and awkward. So of course I don't want to look
like the broke one. So I pulled out my card
and just paid for it. And then I noticed it
was like a commonality where he would like talk about
splitting or not offer to pay. And it became an
(20:05):
issue where I had to sit him down and be like, look,
this is not for me. Like Either you change or
I'm out of here. And he's better now.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
He didn't say he played for the San Francisco 49ers,
did he?
Speaker 13 (20:15):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
He has the money, but he just wanted you to
pay because he's humble. Right, right.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Okay, so it isn't that Dajon Love guy, right?
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Okay, just checking.
Speaker 9 (20:29):
All right.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Because there's a lot of scamming that's going on.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
He's a hot guy.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Yeah, is he considered what they would call a hot guy?
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Usually it's not.
Speaker 18 (20:38):
Oh, yeah, he definitely is.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
A hot guy can get away with everything. This ugly guy, no,
you better pay.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
So is he kidding me? Right.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
She said, I agree, ugly. She's like, I've seen you guys.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
I could never date any of you guys.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Like, I listen, but I can't look. I heard that.
All righty, well. All right. There it is right there.
I don't know why. It sounds like she got some money, though.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (21:10):
She's probably taking it in the complex time.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Are you taking it in the complex time with you?
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Every night.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Hey, let me ask you this.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
When you go to Complex Con, are you going to
pay for the parking or you think he'll pay for
the parking?
Speaker 18 (21:23):
Oh, no, he's for sure going to. Like I said,
we're good now.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
We're good. All right.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Never change a man.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
There it is.
Speaker 10 (21:29):
There it is.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
What red flag did you see but ignored it? Hit
us up, Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
I ain't leaving this neighborhood. Big Boy.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Hey, this is your partner, Big Boy, from Big Boy's
Neighborhood on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
We have the most fun on your radio.
Speaker 16 (21:45):
Like, I feel like I want a guy to plan
something for me, especially the first dates and stuff.
Speaker 10 (21:49):
Like, dude, take the lead, please.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Like, what would be, Mariana, what would be that date? Like,
if somebody plans something for you.
Speaker 16 (21:55):
Like a cute little, maybe like a jazz bar or something.
I know it sounds crazy.
Speaker 10 (22:00):
Jazz bar.
Speaker 16 (22:00):
Or a museum, like a nice restaurant. I like to
eat a lot, so like.
Speaker 10 (22:03):
A nice restaurant.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Jazz bar.
Speaker 17 (22:05):
Mariana, no, you would not go to.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Ever going into Baby Soak City?
Speaker 5 (22:08):
No. No.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Only because I.
Speaker 16 (22:10):
Want to dress up, you know, like it's giving vintage.
It's giving, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Have you ever been to a jazz bar? No, that's
why I want to go with someone. Oh my God.
Speaker 10 (22:18):
Who are you dating?
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Samuel L. Jackson? What's going on here?
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Thank you for listening. It is your partner, Big Boy,
Big Boy's Neighborhood. You can catch more of us right
here on iHeartRadio. Big Boy's Neighborhood, Mariana in the Neighborhood,
Mari to the potty.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
What you got?
Speaker 14 (22:33):
All right.
Speaker 16 (22:33):
So I think we're starting to see this story a
lot more. It's starting to unfold. And this is another
reason why I love Kendrick Lamar. And I feel like,
you know, he's very low key and he only seems
to pop out.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Yeah, no pun intended.
Speaker 14 (22:45):
Right.
Speaker 16 (22:45):
Pop out when he feels like it's necessary. And this
is one of those stories. This is a seven-year-old boy
who suffered from an amputated... He amputated both of... Not him,
but he suffered from a severe dog attack and both
of his arms were amputated. And so Kendrick Lamar kept
his promise to this seven-year-old boy. And he had FaceTimed
him on his birthday because apparently, you know, this little
(23:08):
boy made news like on the news in Detroit.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Like local radio?
Speaker 5 (23:12):
Yes.
Speaker 16 (23:12):
And so they found out, Kendrick's team found out that
he was a Kendrick fan. So he FaceTimed him and...
And he promised to invite him to his L.A.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Home.
Speaker 16 (23:22):
And, you know, he kept his promise. But it is
so sweet. So he brought the kid out to L.A.? Yes,
he brought out the kid to his home in L.A. And,
you know, they got him a cake.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
They sang happy birthday to him.
Speaker 16 (23:33):
But it was just like one of those moments that
we need to see more of.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Hey, man, that's what I say sometimes. When people say, oh,
this is wrong, that's wrong.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
We got to, that's what's right with hip hop with Kendrick, man.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Somebody told me that you have a favorite rapper. Who's that?
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Kendrick Lamar.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Kendrick Lamar? The six-year-old even asked to send a special message,
hoping it'll get to his favorite rapper.
Speaker 9 (23:54):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
And so when he turned seven, that surprised him?
Speaker 19 (23:58):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
That's beautiful. Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
How old are you?
Speaker 2 (24:03):
How old are you? How old are you? Tell the world.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
How old are you?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
That's beautiful, man.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Yes. And just with Kendrick, too, I know that there's
a lot that Kendrick Lamar does.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Right.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
You know what I'm saying? And I understand that there's
a lot he doesn't do. But sometimes you got to
show people, too.
Speaker 14 (24:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (24:38):
You got to show people. And as you guys had
shown me just a clip of the video, It's one
of those things, bro, where you'll see things like that
and it make you want to do something.
Speaker 14 (24:47):
Right.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
And I mean, you know, Kendrick's not the public guy.
He's not the news guy. You know what I'm saying?
But he really just tattooed that kid's brain and his.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Family and ours. Yeah, of course.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Because you hear so much craziness. And, you know, so
when you hear a story like this, it's just beautiful, man.
Speaker 16 (25:02):
That is for sure a core memory. Like, that little
boy is going to remember that forever.
Speaker 7 (25:06):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 16 (25:07):
And the fact that he really kept his promise because
that was, he, they first connected through a FaceTime call,
you know? So it's like after that, you know, inviting
him to his L.A. home with his family, singing happy birthday.
Speaker 15 (25:18):
Like, that's huge.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Those are memories, man. Those are memories. And that's what's
right with hip-hop. Shout out once again, Kendrick Lamar. Big
boys neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
Big boys.
Speaker 10 (25:25):
Hello!
Speaker 1 (25:27):
You're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood Podcast.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Big Boy's Neighborhood, and I am hungry. Luigi is up
in here. What up, Lou Doggy?
Speaker 4 (25:37):
So the other day we went out, and it was me,
my boy Felix, and then my homie Art. And my
homie Art, like, did this, like... Is Art the one
with the green eyes? No, he's some bald dude, yeah.
The one with the green eyes is getting on my nerves.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
That's crazy Danny. But the homie Art.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
He, like, really, like, transformed, like, what he's eating and
how he's working out now. And, like, he's lost a
lot of weight, gained a lot of muscle, like, looks
really slim. Like, really into, like, what he's eating, how
he's eating it, what's good for him. I was like, damn, dog,
you sound like a personal trainer. And then we were
talking about that with another personal trainer, which is Felix,
my other friend.
Speaker 14 (26:10):
Right, right, right.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
And then I had mentioned, like, you know what, dog,
I think it's time to lock in and kind of
lose a couple pounds.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
The one that just was ordering chilaquiles and pozole. You're
going out with a bang.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
You like to show intervention. I'll go, but I got
to get high one more time.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
So Art's explaining how he's doing it. Felix is to
the left. He's actually a professional trainer. So Art's telling
me how he's doing it, what he's eating. And I'm like,
you know what, bro? You convinced me, brother. So I'm like,
I need to lose a couple of pounds. So then
I told Felix, he's like, well, come to the gym, bro.
I got to measure you. And I got this machine
that you touch. It'll give you your body mass weight
and your BMI and blah, blah, blah. So when I
(26:45):
told him that, it was like, all right, cool. We
went throughout the night. I think we went to Quest's party.
We got drunk, hammered. The next day I wake up
and it's good morning. I said, who's texting me good.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Morning, bro, this early? Before Byron's awake, I'm awake, and
it's my homie Felix. Like, hey, bro, let me know
when you want to come down. I said, dog, what
the hell? It's not even been 24 hours.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
So now this guy's texting me, and I'm ignoring his calls,
and he's, like, being so consistent this whole day.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
And I'm like, bro. Are you going to work out
or not?
Speaker 4 (27:15):
I know I said it, but it was a 24-hour series.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Come on, man. You can do it.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
I'm talking about, you know what, baby? Let me slowly
get into it, but not gradually.
Speaker 12 (27:23):
Slowly?
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Push me and call me. I swear to God, dude's
like a spam caller. Let me tell you here. You
got to crap. Thunder and eat lightning. Make a run.
You can do it.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
You should be able to tear a phone book in half.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Come on, Larry. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
It's one of those things where I've noticed I get
tired so quick. Yeah, and he wants me to chase
him around the front yard all the time. I'm like, yeah,
I got to lose a couple pounds. But this dude
is a straight up spam caller. Between him and the
other credit people that hit me up, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Dude, I'm done.
Speaker 10 (27:56):
Really?
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah, it's literally spam all day. Yo, Felix, you there?
Speaker 5 (28:00):
Oh, no!
Speaker 20 (28:00):
What's up, big?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
What's going on, Felix? How you doing, Felix? Hello. Hello there, Felix. Hey, Felix,
so what's going down with this, man?
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Louie told you that he wanted to get into a
workout program and take care of himself.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
You know what, brother?
Speaker 14 (28:14):
When he told me that, I was so stoked.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
I was so happy.
Speaker 14 (28:16):
He's in that one time. One day, I was at
the gym. I got six in the morning, and he
calls me out of nowhere. He goes, hey, bro, you
at the gym? And I'm like, yeah. He goes, I'm
going to come through. I'm like, he's not going to
come through. So he came through, actually, at 6 in
the morning one time. And I thought I was going
to change his life. And it was just that one
time only. And he never called me back again. So
this time, you know, he reached out to me. He's like, hey, bro,
I'm serious. I got to lose weight. And I'm like, bro,
(28:37):
don't play like that, bro. You're not serious. But he did.
He really hit me up. And I was like, Louie, like,
you got booty do. And he's like, booty do?
Speaker 2 (28:46):
What is that?
Speaker 14 (28:47):
I'm like, Louie, you have booty do.
Speaker 17 (28:49):
Booty do is?
Speaker 14 (28:50):
When your stomach sticks out more than your booty do.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
I don't know what to slap.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
I know exactly what booty do was. I didn't want
to ruin it for him.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
So you text him in the morning and say kind
of like a let's go.
Speaker 14 (29:04):
Yeah, I've been hitting up every morning. There's some days
he doesn't respond. He just goes to me. How many
times have.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
I picked up your call in the last 24 hours, Felix?
Speaker 14 (29:13):
Oh, man, none.
Speaker 13 (29:16):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Got you the hell out of this. Yeah, you got
a trick on. Let's go have some beers. Six in
the morning, let's do it.
Speaker 13 (29:24):
But why not?
Speaker 14 (29:24):
For Christmas, I sent him some joggers and some Nike
joggers and sweatpants and sweatshirts. And so I haven't even
seen him use them. So you better use those, Louie.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Man, you can't tell me I didn't see a picture
of Myra wearing that same.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Shirt that you just described.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
Described.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Yeah, man. So, Lou, are you going to lock in
or not?
Speaker 4 (29:44):
I want to lock in, but it's just sometimes I
just don't want to get bugged every 30 minutes by
this guy calling me.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
You know what I mean? What if I give you
a little pre-workout?
Speaker 17 (29:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Man, you only get one life, Lou. Yeah, that's true. Yeah,
you got to take care of yourself, man.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
Hey, Felix, just in the last couple years or few years,
especially since Yael been born, has Louie been looking like
worse to you?
Speaker 19 (30:10):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 14 (30:11):
He looks like a genie in a bottle.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Yeah, there it is, man. He's stuck. He can't get out. Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
So, man, so let us know when you want to
start working Lou, y'all, man, so we can watch the progress.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Lou, you going to commit? Yeah, I think I'm going
to commit. Do we have a scale here? I hope not. Oh,
my God, are you? Hey, this is what I need
you to do, Felix.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
I got a BMI scale, but one day we're going
to set it up where you come down here and
you take his vitals and everything, man.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
I know you're going to start, man. All right.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Look at this kid's face right here.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
I'm convinced, brother.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Yeah, there it is. I'm excited for you.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah, man. November sounds like a good time to start.
Speaker 17 (30:41):
November?
Speaker 3 (30:43):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
The time is now.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Really?
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Yeah. Did you hear the Rocky Deep song? Come on.
You don't want to do it again. You can do this, man.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
All right, guys.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Put your mind to.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
It, Lou.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
I think I can do this, guys. That part. I
think I can do this, guys. Lou, you can do it.
I think I can do this, guys. You got to
eat thunder and clap lightning. All righty. Now, other than that,
you sound pretty good. I would have said the neighborhood, man.
Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (31:10):
So, can't move out of the neighborhood, huh?
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Why don't you stay with us a little longer and
make sure to watch the best moments from Big Boy's
Neighborhood now on YouTube.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
YouTube.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Big boy neighborhood. All righty now, Jesus Sepulveda is up here. Jesus,
hang loose. What you got, my brethren?
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Man, I was on a road trip with my guys
because we were having a show in El Paso. And
on the drive, dude, we got pulled over, all right,
in Arizona. And I was, I'm not going to lie,
I was speeding. All right, and I was in the
wrong lane, and I was just, yeah, right away, that's
exactly where we freaked out, dude, but you know, like,
I do everything right, you know, I pull over to
the side, I roll down the windows, but I have
this friend, my opener, who, man, like, he is a woke,
(31:49):
woke person, like, I'm talking about woke, once he got
pulled over, he's like, why are they pulling us over?
And I'm like, dude, relax. Like, you know, I was speeding.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
He's just like, dude, you were barely speeding. You were barely.
If anything, you were barely speeding.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
I'm looking at the speedometer. You were barely.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
They're already, like, hyped up.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
And I'm like, dude, relax. The guy comes in. The
officer comes in. And then he's, like, asking for everybody's ID.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Of course. He's the guy who's like, why?
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Why do you need my ID for?
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Oh, my God, dude.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
And then he's just like, yeah, we need everybody's ID.
Is there something that, you know?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
And he just kept fighting with the guy. And I'm like, bro,
we got to get going.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
We got a trip like what nationality is bro he's
a mexican really though yeah and that's the thing he's
just like oh is it officer is it because we're
brown and i'm like dude oh my god.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
I swear and i'm looking at him.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
The officer was like yeah that's right buddy that's right
obviously was he latino yeah he was latino so he's
he's literally like the coolest like just chill he was
just like uh no i just want to get everybody's
id and make sure everybody's good and he's like We're good,
I think you should just speak to the driver.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
And I'm already causing attention. I'm like, bro.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
I was like, dawg, relax. Just give him your ID,
we're good. We got nothing to hide. And he's just like,
do you guys have anything in the car that I
should search or anything like that?
Speaker 2 (32:58):
I was like, no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
He's like, I don't think you should be asking us that. Like,
why are you asking us that? I'm telling you, Vic,
he was getting really snappy.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
With the officer.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
He knows his law. And the officer looked at me,
and he just did a smile. Like, really, dude? He's like,
all right, I'll be back. And he just left with
two of our IDs except for his. Oh, really? Yeah,
so he went back in and got his stuff and
then came back. And now he's really grilling him. He's like,
I'm going to need your ID now. And then the
guy's like, what for? Yeah, he started problems. He's like,
what for? He's like, do you want to step out?
(33:27):
And I'm like, dude, just give him your ID.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Relax.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Not that serious. He's like, Man, I can't believe this, man.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
And then I swear, Big, he starts pulling out his
phone and he's recording the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
He's just recording and I'm just like, what are you recording?
You would, huh?
Speaker 3 (33:42):
I would do something like that, yeah.
Speaker 16 (33:44):
No, not going all off all the way, but maybe
recording because you just never know.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
But it's like when you have to add the whole thing,
it's because we're brown. It's like, dude, relax.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
And honestly.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
I was speeding. I don't want him to give you
a ticket. I'm like, dude, let it go. Like, please,
just be nice. Yeah, so thank God.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
And it probably take more energy to do all that
than just license registration. I think that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
That's what I'm talking about. And we're in a hurry.
Speaker 3 (34:05):
I don't want to sit there. I don't want to
argue with him. We literally wasted like another like 40
minutes on just like. What? Yeah, on just like back
and forth banter. He didn't want to give him the ID.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
He was recording.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
The officer was like, do you want me to call
another police officer? And another cop came just to like
spook him, I think. And then they were both talking
to him. It was a mess, dude.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
But never again.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
He's never coming with me, the little woke opener.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Is he a new opener for you? Yes, new opener. Yeah, man.
New opener. He's like, dude, we have rights. We have laws.
He knows he's right.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
They've been trying to attack us for years.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
And I'm like, oh, my God. He's like, clock in.
Clock in. He's like, I watch Law and Order.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
SVU, all of them.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Yeah. But honestly, I think that little QTRQ's. I did
a little moment to distract the fact that I was
speeding because he let us go.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
And I'm like, oh, thank God.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
You got to check your homeboy or stuff like that, too. Yeah,
for sure, man. Especially if you know, like, man, I
was speeding. Yeah, check your homeboy. You shouldn't put him
out the car. He's going to try to cancel me.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
Big Boy's Neighborhood. I ain't leaving this neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (35:00):
Big Boy.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Hey, this is your partner Big Boy from Big Boy's
Neighborhood on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 14 (35:06):
Big Boy.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Here's another in case you missed it moment with us.
Mariana in the neighborhood, mighty to the party. We recently
had T.I. in the neighborhood for an all new big interview.
Speaker 16 (35:15):
How does it feel to have a long lasting relationship?
Speaker 21 (35:18):
I could make it complicated, but I'm going to just
keep it simple. Marriage works when you don't leave.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
You just stay.
Speaker 17 (35:27):
You just stay.
Speaker 21 (35:28):
It'll be time you get on her nerves. She get
on your nerves. She ain't going to stay in the
sight of you. You ain't going to stay in the
sight of her. And you're going to want to leave.
And you just don't. And you'll know that because there's
been times I unpacked all my shit.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Gone. I take this.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I go.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Sit all my * * * * out of dough.
Speaker 21 (35:49):
Then I was like, where the * * * *
I'm going?
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Where am I going? I pay bills here. This is
my house. Where the * * * * am I going?
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Thank you for listening. It is your partner, Big Boy.
Big Boy's Neighborhood. You can catch more of us right
here on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Big Boy's Neighborhood. Louis G is up in here. What up,
Lou Dog? I hate you, Bruno Mars! What happened, Lou?
You bastard!
Speaker 5 (36:17):
What?
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Bruno Mars has a song with Karol G. It's called Still.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
They released a music video, and if you went to
the concert at SoFi Stadium where she brought him out,
they did a lot of filming off of the video.
It's basically kind of the whole performance.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
Like the live footage?
Speaker 4 (36:35):
Yeah, but there's a lot of other scenes that they
filmed before the concert.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
You could see them out in the.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
in the seats together by themselves in an empty stadium.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
You can see him in the back. Why do you
have a problem with this?
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Because, bro, the way she looks at Bruno Mars with
these little twinkly.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Eyes and these little hypnotic eyes. You're supposed to. When
you hear this, you're supposed to gaze into somebody's eyes.
Speaker 9 (37:02):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Yeah, they're acting. It's called acting. No, it's not, man.
Why can't she act like that with me? That's a
dope-ass video, too. I'm looking at the shots, man. What
do you mean?
Speaker 16 (37:11):
She doesn't know you exist.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Yeah, and then if she knew you exist, she really
wouldn't do that with you. Hey, man, Myra don't do
that to you. Myra don't look in your eyes like that?
In the first couple months, yeah. Do you look in Myra's.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Eyes like that?
Speaker 3 (37:24):
I mean, it's kind of hard now with this gas
that you got in your head. You know what I'm saying?
I thought you had a mean-ass pimple up there, man.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
I didn't know you had a yayo bite in your
face incident. But look at, man, it's like they're in
a relationship. They're singing to each other.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
They're dancing in the empty stadium. They're looking at each
other with these twinkly eyes.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
It's a video. She's Touching his face. This dude's smiling. Hey, man,
why don't you do this? Giggling and laughing.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Spend your weekend making that same video with Myra.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
Yeah. Do that, man. I do have access to SoFi Stadium. Yeah,
reenact it, man.
Speaker 16 (38:03):
Dress up like him. You know, he's wearing a Tejana
cowboy hat.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
White outfit. Have her wear a dress maybe.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Both you guys are kind of, you know, smaller than
a lady.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
I think too many years in, if we were to
even try to be romantic, we would just laugh.
Speaker 19 (38:17):
Really?
Speaker 10 (38:18):
Really?
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Is it really over? I don't know. I just think
it's funny now. It's been so long. Come on. The
romance phase, you know, ends in like the first year
or two years. Yeah, go shoot with Quest. Do it
with Quest. This bastard's doing the little spin around to her.
He wants to be in there so bad. He's playing
the guitar. She's just looking at him, just mesmerized. And
the crazy thing about it too, man, is he talented. Yeah,
that's true. That's another downfall. Freaking bastard, man. Something else
(38:41):
he got over you. They're even in the little cart
in the backstage.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Are you going to sit here and watch the whole
video while we're live in here?
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Dude, you narrated back a video. Dude, this sound mad personal.
I'm hating this, dude. Like, right now. From now on, man.
Speaker 10 (38:55):
We don't talk about Bruno.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
All right? We're done. We don't talk about Bruno. We're
done with it. All right?
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Y'all continue to hang with us in the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Big boys neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (39:08):
You're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Big Boy's Neighborhood. Luigi is up in here. What up, Ludo?
There's some drama going on between DJ Vlad. Yes, sir.
And Nori.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
The drink champs. They've been going back and forth over
flaking on some interviews.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
Crazy.
Speaker 4 (39:24):
But Vlad literally put this whole thing out about exposing
drink champs and what they do.
Speaker 19 (39:29):
And here's the dark side of Drink Champs that people
don't really want to talk about, right? Nori, and I'll
show the text messages. In 2022, Nori, who fucked with Vlad, said, hey,
I want you to come to Drink Champs. And I said, yo,
you're my man.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
No problem. I got you.
Speaker 14 (39:44):
But.
Speaker 17 (39:45):
I just.
Speaker 19 (39:45):
Don't want to drink on the show. I'll drink soda
and just pretend to drink.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
He said, no, no, no, you got to drink. You
got to drink. This is the show.
Speaker 19 (39:52):
And I'm like, bro, I don't drink on camera. This
is just not what I do. I've never done that before.
Speaker 17 (39:58):
But I'll go along.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
No, no.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yo, you've made all this money off the culture. You
got to give back.
Speaker 19 (40:03):
Or you rich, so you don't care. And all of
a sudden, he's guilting me and forcing me and coercing
me into drinking to the point where I said, man,
I don't want to talk to you anymore. Two years later,
I thought about it. I said, you know something, man?
This dude, I respect him. I like his music. I'll
come to your show and I'll drink. I'll fly myself out.
I fly first class. I stay at the Ritz. Like
that whole, I get my own security. That whole trip
probably cost me about $ 7, 000, $ 8, 000. I came and did
(40:25):
it anyways.
Speaker 17 (40:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (40:26):
But the thing is, you're a culture vulture.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
That was him with Charleston White too, man.
Speaker 20 (40:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Yeah. You okay if I drink this?
Speaker 10 (40:34):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Thank you, man. That's a little Coca-Cola right there.
Speaker 17 (40:37):
Right.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Go ahead and do your thing, man.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Thank you, man.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I understand it.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
I do think Drink Champs, that's the name of the, thing,
and that's exactly what they do. It's like going on
Hot Ones and being like, no, I don't want to
eat some wings, so you just replace it with something else.
I get it, but if you're really pressuring somebody, I
think that there's a point where you got to be reasonable.
Speaker 17 (40:54):
And be like, all right, cool.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Like they asked me to do drink champs. I don't drink.
And Norah was like, okay. You know what I'm saying?
And I remember with Big Sean one time, Big Sean,
he asked Norah, he was like, Man, he drinking a lot.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
You know what I'm saying? Yeah, dog. What about your liver?
That kind of thing, man.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
He did keep going, though. Oh, my God.
Speaker 19 (41:11):
But when you look at what Norris does on that show.
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Everybody get drunk.
Speaker 19 (41:16):
Let me tell you something. He had Lamar Odom drinking
on his show. Lamar Odom had almost over. Not that
long before. He had DMX drinking on his show, who
later died from an overdose.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
But you know what, man?
Speaker 3 (41:29):
You'll hear people that also say, man, people go to
Vlad's show, right?
Speaker 6 (41:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
And they confess or there's certain things that happen. But also, man,
Vlad don't kidnap you.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Like anybody that go to Vlad's show, you're going to
Vlad's show. People say, oh, man, he does this. Man,
most times, Vlad, sometimes he's not even in the room.
People clip their own mics on and all that. But
you say you had a little situation, not a situation,
but you just felt a certain way.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
About Vlad as well.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Yeah, I just feel his energy is just like, I
don't know. I don't really trust him. I feel like
he is what they call a cultural vulture. I do
feel that on him.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
Really though.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
The fact that he puts people in situations, even the conversations...
He'll bring something out where it's going to get that
person in trouble.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Why are you doing it?
Speaker 3 (42:12):
You know where it's going to lead when he leaves
the studio.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
But my thing is also, man, don't sit down and
do the interview. Yeah, I guess so.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
Anybody that go to Vlad's show and sit down with Vlad,
you're going to Vlad's show. And you're walking out with
some money, I've heard. Yeah, and Vlad not attacking you.
He not grabbing you off the street. People can say
what they want. I'm just saying that if you're going
to sit down expect the interview.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (42:37):
If I see him at a club, I'll just be like,
he just stands out.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
I'm like, why is he here? Have you seen him
in a club?
Speaker 3 (42:43):
Nah. He says he's always at a club. I totally
understand that, man, but it's crazy because I see people
and I'm like, dude, It's grown people going down there,
sitting down, doing the show, and the things that come out. Like,
we sit here, and there's times when I'll even edit
out something for somebody.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Like, yo, man, that looked crazy to me.
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Well, they had Kanye on, and you remember that was
the whole situation when Kanye went.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Crazy, and that's the deal.
Speaker 3 (43:10):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
You talking about with Drink Champs? With Drink Champs, yeah. Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
But I know also with Matt Barnes and All The Smoke,
they said they had an interview, and hopefully I'm not
talking out of turn because I don't know.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
But they didn't release it with you.
Speaker 5 (43:21):
Gotcha.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
You know what I'm saying? But it is what it is, man.
You got to let those two grow, man. They'll settle
it out. They'll settle it out. Y'all continue to hang
with us in the neighborhood, Big Boy Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (43:28):
This is the Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (43:30):
Big Boy.
Speaker 10 (43:32):
Podcast.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Big Boy Neighborhood. Louis G is up in here. What up,
Lou Dog?
Speaker 4 (43:36):
You know, sometimes you just got to, like, really... announce
a hero out there, bro. So I want to do
a thing called Hero of the Week every week, bro,
where I highlight somebody that's doing good for the people.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Okay, that's fine. I didn't clear this, but... If you're
on air, you know what I'm saying? So we're doing
Hero of the Week. Yeah, man, let me do a
Hero of the Week, dog. Not all heroes wear capes.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
And in this instance, we got a hero by the
name of Darius. Darius put on social media that he said.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
I know where this is going. Watch, watch. I love
that one. He's a hero. He's a hero, right?
Speaker 16 (44:17):
He got fired?
Speaker 2 (44:18):
Yeah, man. He says, now I work at McDonald's.
Speaker 14 (44:21):
Oh, Lord.
Speaker 4 (44:21):
And you better believe it. If you order a six-piece,
you're getting eight or nine nuggets.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (44:27):
Order a 10-piece, there are at least 13 in that box.
I'll keep doing this-ish until the day I die. F
these giant corporations. I'm here for the people.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (44:39):
Hold on, man. Let's sit on that for a second.
Come on, man. I'll keep doing this ish until the
day I die. F these giant corporations. I'm here for
the people, he said.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
Man, you order a six, you get nine. All right,
talk to me, Jesus. I had to sit in that
for a minute. I used to be a hero like
this when I worked at KFC. I wish I would
have gotten your line.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
I would have.
Speaker 3 (45:02):
Put an extra little breast just in case.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
A little extra wing.
Speaker 3 (45:08):
And if I saw somebody that I kind of lived
my life, I'm like, I got you.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
I got you. Hardworking man.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
He's a construction worker with his family.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Thank you so much. Put an extra little wing for
you guys.
Speaker 3 (45:19):
There you go, bro.
Speaker 16 (45:21):
Extra sauce.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
That is a hero, man. You could have got hero
of the week, man. Yeah, you could have, bro. Now
that Louie's cleared it.
Speaker 3 (45:27):
You actually got written up for it, too, but you
don't know.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
You got written up for it?
Speaker 3 (45:29):
I did get written up for it. What about the
person that doubled back and be like, he's giving out
free chicken.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Oh, my God. He put 10 in my eight.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
He put an extra box.
Speaker 16 (45:37):
People complain about the sauces.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
Like, I used to give people a handful.
Speaker 16 (45:41):
And they're like, I don't need that much.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
I'm like, so y'all don't save them?
Speaker 3 (45:46):
I know I got a gang of sauces and you
know what's crazy about those little condiment sauces they don't
really put dates on them like if you go and
buy like a ranch at a store it got a
date on it you get a ranch from like KFC
or something like.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
That it don't have a date.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
When I used to work at Pizza Hut we used
to you know whenever their mistake pizzas would come back
we'd put them on top of the oven but if
I saw someone come in and was just like hey
how much is that pizza and they'd be like oh
they have $ 16 for a large I'd be like hey
my man I got a mistake over there.
Speaker 17 (46:15):
Would you like one?
Speaker 2 (46:17):
It's like a pepperoni and sausage right now. Can I
just tell you how much? I said, it's yours, my guy.
Go for it.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
Don't trip.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Don't trip. You got at least once a month.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Once a month, man.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
Easy, bro. Not all heroes wear capes. Exactly, man. Shout
out to my man once again. If you want to
submit your hero, hit me up on Instagram, at Louie G.
We might highlight you here in Big Boy's Neighborhood. We're
doing this, okay? Yeah, exactly. I didn't know it was
still Big Boy's Neighborhood. I guess it's a weekly now.
Speaker 16 (46:39):
Do we support or not?
Speaker 2 (46:40):
I mean, hell, he told me that I got a
new weekly, so.
Juan, can you make sure that that goes onto my
big calendar?
Speaker 15 (46:48):
All right.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
Y'all continue to hang with us in the neighborhood, Big
Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
Always stay tapped in to Big Boy's Neighborhood and become
one of our neighbors. Follow us right now on Instagram
at Big Boy's Neighborhood and on TikTok at Big Boy.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Big Boy's Neighborhood. Louis G is up in here. What up,
Lou Doggy?
Speaker 10 (47:06):
Oh, my bad.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Hey, Seuss. My bad.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
Go ahead.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
Hey, Seusser.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
I'm here, too.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
No, I'm so.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
I got to talk about this story about this guy
who ordered DoorDash and his DoorDash driver got into an accident.
So he still got up and said, you know what,
I'm going to go pick up my food. It's just
around the corner.
Speaker 20 (47:21):
I DoorDashed some food and my DoorDasher told me he got.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
In a car accident.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
And he was like, I can come meet him and get.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
The food from him.
Speaker 20 (47:31):
I didn't know my man got in a real ass
car accident because that shit was fucked up. But I
think that's my food right there. Is it for me
to walk across and pick it up? I'm about to
go get my food.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
I look so up right now.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
I'm about to go get this food. Oh,. I'm tricing.
Speaker 20 (47:48):
I'm tricing.
Speaker 14 (47:49):
I'm tricing.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Yo, what's going on, bro? You the Door Dasher?
Speaker 6 (47:52):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
You all right?
Speaker 9 (47:53):
Oh, my god.
Speaker 14 (47:54):
Yeah. Thank you, boss.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Thank you, man.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
You good?
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Yeah. Damn, I'm so sorry, bro. You got an accident
bringing me my food.
Speaker 3 (48:02):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
The guy was sitting down in the corner and everything,
getting questioned by the cops and all the ambulance.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Checking his vitals, and then still giving the food order. Man,
I hope he tipped him. Hey, man, I would still
be like, damn, I might as well just went and
picked it up myself. Right, yes. Do you do a
lot of DoorDash or anything like that, Postmates or anything?
Now I've been.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
Now that I've figured it out.
Speaker 2 (48:23):
I don't do it.
Speaker 3 (48:23):
I want my kids to do something like that, man.
But yeah, I don't do it. I like to stop
and pick it up. And there's so many fees in there, man.
That is crazy. Because they're already getting a bonus and
an extra tip. And if you want to be a
generous tip, we'll bring it faster.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
And it's like, oh, my God.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
Hey, man, let me tell you what irks me, man.
I could be driving back with the family. We don't
pass up everything. As soon as they get home, they
want to order food. I'm like, dude, we just passed everything.
And now we want to go in and get something.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
To eat now?
Speaker 3 (48:53):
No, you crazy as hell. I hate when they want
to order food. off of when it arrives. Like, the
door dash arrives, and they're like, oh, we should have
got this. Let's go get this. And I'm like, dude, like,
I asked you if you guys wanted something when it's here,
and it's in front of you.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
Now you guys want something.
Speaker 3 (49:06):
Yeah, there's times when we want to order something when
we're sitting in the neighborhood, and we look at the fees,
and I be like, man, I'm just going.
Speaker 2 (49:10):
To go over there. And they're like, no, you got
to stay on the air. I'm like, oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
He had a 500-pound meat ready to go, though.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
Yeah, for sure, man. I bet that door dash driver, though,
is probably going to be angry. Like, imagine if he
didn't make that turn. It would have been fine. If
he didn't take that order. Hey, man, early door dashing, though,
had to be delicious. Because now they staple the bag,
they close the bag.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
You know, they put like sticky strips on the drinks
and everything.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
I'm going to tell you, man. Right.
Speaker 3 (49:39):
If I was a door dasher back in the days,
I would have been your bag.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
You know what I'm saying? At some point. Yeah, at
least a fry. You got an accident, too. I'm a
fry thief. You said accident, your hand just fell in there?
Speaker 14 (49:51):
Yeah, on accident.
Speaker 16 (49:52):
Yeah, you know, because it's like, it's just.
Speaker 3 (49:54):
There on the other seat.
Speaker 16 (49:55):
Yeah, I forget it's not mine.
Speaker 2 (49:57):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:58):
I'm a fry thief, man. Right, yeah. But I hate
it when somebody else does it. It's like, yo, yo, yo, yo,
you know who fries that is? Hey, man, I love
when you find that fry in the bag at the bottom.
You thought you ate them all.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
You got like two more in there. Oh, what a God.
I love that. Look at God. There is a God. Hey,
y'all continue to hang with us in the neighborhood, Big
Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (50:14):

Speaker 3 (50:18):
Turning my money over, we got our good friend E-40
in the neighborhood, man.
Speaker 2 (50:22):

Speaker 3 (50:27):
Quadruple, yeah. We're going to get with E-40 in the neighborhood.
Y'all continue to hang out with us in the neighborhood,
Big Boy's neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
Now, another Big Boy's neighborhood Big Boy listener moment.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
Elliot, what are you done doing for people?
Speaker 9 (50:39):
I'm done doing stuff for my son.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Damn, your son?
Speaker 14 (50:42):
Hey, babe, my son, he allows you to work.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
He don't want to work.
Speaker 9 (50:47):
He don't want to go to school.
Speaker 10 (50:50):
I bought him a car.
Speaker 12 (50:51):
He sold a car and bought him an iced out change.
Speaker 2 (50:53):
I'm like, he wants to be a rapper.
Speaker 12 (50:54):
He couldn't wrap a Christmas present.
Speaker 10 (50:56):
Damn, my lord.
Speaker 12 (50:57):
He couldn't wrap a Christmas present.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
This has been another Big Boy's Neighborhood listener moment.
Speaker 10 (51:04):
Catch more Big Boy's Neighborhood on IR Radio.
Speaker 3 (51:06):
Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
Oh, man.
Speaker 15 (51:11):
40 Water.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
Welcome home, brother.
Speaker 17 (51:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
It is a pleasure to see you, man.
Speaker 17 (51:15):
Glad to be home.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Come on, 40.
Speaker 17 (51:16):
It's very familiar in here.
Speaker 12 (51:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
We still got your room set up over there.
Speaker 17 (51:21):
Righteously.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
Amen. So the goon with the spoon.
Speaker 10 (51:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
40, the way that you cook, not only the way
that you cook, you know, your herbs and spices and
you plate well.
Speaker 6 (51:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:32):
Had you always been like the goon with the spoon?
Like you always cook. Cause I know I cook because
I had to cook out of necessity.
Speaker 17 (51:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (51:39):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 17 (51:40):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (51:41):
So, but you cook different. Well, so that's an interesting situation. Uh,
we're going with the spoon.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
Yes, Dan.
Speaker 17 (51:51):
Uh, you know, uh, It's a double entendre.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Talk about it. Talk about it. One of them right here.
Speaker 17 (51:57):
It's a soil situation. You know what I'm saying? You know,
it comes from, you understand me, being in the kitchen,
you know, cooking different type of things, you understand me,
in the big gumbo pot.
Speaker 14 (52:07):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 17 (52:08):
That type of thing. So, you know, you're a goon
with it. Like, yeah, I'm a goon with this. I'm
going to get, you know what I mean, 10. I'm
going to get 8 to 10 over. You know what
I'm saying? Whatever, however, right? You know, it's BR before rap.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
Right, right, right.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (52:21):
You know, so.
Speaker 17 (52:22):
You know, me being the oldest, I had to learn
how to really, you know, take care of my siblings.
You know what I mean? We all two years apart.
You know what I'm saying? You know, you got, you got,
you got, you got, I'm Earl Stevens, E-40. You got D-Shot.
That's Danelle Stevens. You know what I'm saying? D-Shot is
a member of the clique. You know what I'm saying?
(52:44):
You got Tanina Stevens. That's Sugar Tee. You feel me?
That's my sister. You feel me? That's my sister. You know,
then you got my brother Young Muggsy who was hyphy
before hyphy with all the dances and all that. And
he rapped too. You feel me? So we are two
years apart. So I was the oldest and my mom
and dad divorced when I was eight years old. So
I kind of like had to be the daddy of
the family on that side and the hillside. You feel me? And,
(53:08):
you know, I used to cook, bro. One of my
go-to dishes was eggs and top ramen noodle. You know,
I take the juice from it out, you know, throw
some butter up in that thing. chop up some green
onions and whatnot, you know what I'm saying, and scramble
some eggs, put that in there with the noodles after
it's already been boiled and cooked, strain it, put the
(53:29):
eggs in there, kind of get them crispy. They used
to fill our stomachs up. They used to fill our
stomachs up. So I cook hell of stuff like that.
We call them get-by meals. Turf burritos come from, There
was nobody ever in the rap game ever saying Turf Burritos.
I got receipts. Turf Burritos is actually, you know what
(53:52):
I'm saying, what we were saying in the trenches, you
know what I'm saying, because I called it Goon with
a Spoon Turf Burritos. 7-Eleven was right down the street
from my house on Magazine Street. It's still there right now,
that same 7-Eleven. So we would go down to 7-Eleven,
get the green chilies or the red chilies, put some
Doritos in it, get some mayonnaise, whatever you want to
put in as hot toss. And we'd get one of them,
(54:13):
heat them up because they got the microwaves inside of
the 7-Elevens, heat them up, walk back down the street
and get back on the turf like this and be
like this, though, you know, waiting for things to come
through so we can get our revenue. You feel what
I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (54:25):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 17 (54:26):
You know, and we didn't want to go in the
house because, you know, the turbo readers would get you
full back then. You feel me? So turf burritos, man.
You understand me?
Speaker 6 (54:33):
40 water.
Speaker 3 (54:34):
We got more to speak on. Y'all continue to hang
out with us in the neighborhood. We got more with
E40 in the neighborhood. Big boys neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (54:41):
You're listening to the big boys neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
Big boys neighborhood. Back up in here, man. Turning my
money over. We back up in here with E40. 40,
you can take it from. The Bay, down south, L.A., Texas,
but it's always this 40 sound.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Absolutely. So you never, I never felt like, man, what
is he doing?
Speaker 6 (55:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
You know what I'm saying? Like, what is he doing?
Speaker 3 (55:02):
So when you got this much accolades and this much
of a catalog, you say, you know what, I'm going
to add another 40 songs to it.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
Right.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
That's crazy.
Speaker 14 (55:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (55:11):
So I was like, I say, and so I started
playing with the number four. You know what I mean? So,
you know, I'm E-40. Right.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
Four albums.
Speaker 17 (55:18):
Four albums. 10 songs on each album, 40 songs. You
feel me? And if you think about it, 40 songs
is not a lot for four albums. Right, right.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
Right, because now we getting 20, 25 on one album.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
On one album.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
Right.
Speaker 17 (55:34):
You know what I mean? So I was like, okay,
and I got CD and vinyl. Yeah, man. You feel me?
Speaker 2 (55:39):
Have you noticed that people are going back to hard copy? Absolutely.
Like people want hard copy, man.
Speaker 3 (55:44):
Just this morning- I was reading about how, yeah, how
CD sales are up, bro.
Speaker 2 (55:49):
Like, my daughter won vinyl. The Mizza. The Mizza was
talking about it. The Mizza talked about it.
Speaker 10 (55:53):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (55:53):
But my daughter really, like, she likes hard copy if
she can get it.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
You know what I'm saying? So, you're starting to see
that come back around.
Speaker 17 (56:00):
They're buying record players and everything, bro.
Speaker 2 (56:02):
And I think people are enjoying good music once again, bro.
Speaker 17 (56:05):
So, shout out to Bump Box. They sent me, Trade
the Truth and Bump Box, man. They sent me the
old school hip hop beat box. The big one, the
boom box.
Speaker 2 (56:14):
Like the old school, what they call ghetto blast.
Speaker 17 (56:16):
Yeah, the ghetto blast. It got dual cassette. It got,
you know, what do you call that?
Speaker 2 (56:21):
Bluetooth. Yeah.
Speaker 17 (56:23):
And CD in all in one. Big blapping. So I'm
going to do something with it. I was waiting for
my CDs to come in, so. I'm going to throw
my CD in and do something viral right quick with it.
Just like old school hip hop.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
But you said viral too, right? And 40, we were
talking about even your camera guy followed you in. You
never been shy on moving with technology. Right, right. Why
is that important to you? Or why did you recognize that?
Because we come from, it could have been anything, man.
We came from. You recorded on, you know, two-inch reels,
me cutting a reel-to-reel. Man, we came from four-track to
(57:00):
eight-track to album to CD to cassette.
Speaker 2 (57:04):
We've streamed and we've seen it all. You got to adjust.
Speaker 5 (57:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (57:08):
If you don't adjust, you know, adjusting is a must.
Change with the times or the times are going to
change on you. They will real quick. So I tell
any old schooler, like I got old school partners that
got businesses, man, I don't deal with, you know, detailing
shops and all that. I don't deal with social media, man.
I say, man, you need to get on there because
it's free advertising and a lot of attention can come
(57:30):
to your brand, to come to your business if you
get on there and show how clean your cars be,
you know, all the cars that you detail and this, that,
and the third. And they listen. So they starting to,
you know what I'm saying, the OGs, the triple OGs
and quadruple OGs, they starting to listen a little bit.
Because you got to change with the times. The times
will change on you.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
40 Water, definitely want to thank you for coming into
the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (57:50):

Speaker 3 (58:11):
Big Boy's Neighborhood, back up in here, man, turning my
money over. We back up in here with E-40. Why
the album Turning My Money Over?
Speaker 17 (58:19):
So Turning My Money Over is something that we used
to say in the 80s, as far as when the
streets was kind of crazy. And, you know, BR, before rap.
It's really just flipping a profit. You know what I mean?
It's like, you know what I mean? Just investing in
something and turning your money over. You know, that's a
street term that a lot of, Street cats know what
(58:40):
I mean. You feel me?
Speaker 2 (58:41):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 17 (58:42):
A lot of them don't because they ain't from the era,
but this old school game. I'm old school game. You
feel me?
Speaker 3 (58:46):
I'm with you.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:48):
I'm definitely with you. I had a life before radio, too.
Speaker 17 (58:51):
I know.
Speaker 2 (58:51):
Oh, you were moving around.
Speaker 3 (58:53):
Hello.
Speaker 12 (58:54):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
Easy call.
Speaker 3 (58:56):
So when you go into that, do you know that
you're making four albums when you go to do it?
Speaker 15 (59:02):
No.
Speaker 17 (59:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:03):
So it was. So it was.
Speaker 17 (59:05):
So look, so my last album came out in November of.
Speaker 5 (59:07):
2023, right?
Speaker 17 (59:10):
Uh i think it was 2023 yes november 2023 so
you might as well 2024 so two and a half
you know dang near three three years and so it
was gonna be it was called rule of thumb so
it was rule of thumb one so i was gonna
do rule of thumb one and two it was gonna
be a double just before I called it, I pivoted.
(59:31):
I said, I'm going to scrap the whole rule of
thumb thing and leave that alone and just come with
turning my money over. And what made me do it,
I seen a picture. I was going through my little
phone and whatnot, and I seen an old school picture
when I was 18. And that's what I put on
the album cover. And I was like, oh, this is
back in the 80s when it was real interesting. You
(59:52):
feel me? You know, BR before rap. And I was rapping.
I've been rapping since I was 11 years old when
I heard the Sugarhill Gang in 79. But at the
same time, I never, you know, I wasn't putting out records.
I didn't have the capability to put out no record
until I got a little older. So anyway, what was
(01:00:13):
I saying? I done got lost.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Yeah, you was talking about you was going through your pictures. Yeah, yeah.
You started a picture yourself.
Speaker 17 (01:00:17):
And I was like, ugh, that's when I was turning
my money over.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Right.
Speaker 17 (01:00:20):
You feel me? And I was like, I'm changing this up.
I'm feeling like, uh-oh.
Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
Oh, yeah, you good. Oh, okay.
Speaker 17 (01:00:27):
So I was like, I'm changing it. I'm going to
switch it up. And I just said, forget it. We
scrapping rule of thumb. We're going to use some of
the songs. But, man, it came so crazy because certain
producers just started sending me hella blaps. And I'm like, man,
I'm going to use all three of these, partner. Like,
you know, a producer named Tope, he came with three
of them. And it was undeniable ones. And it changed
(01:00:48):
kind of like the format of how I had it
because it gave me some smooth stuff and everything. You
know what I'm saying? Then my boy Scorp D's came after,
you know, with one last man. The bottom of the
ninth base is loaded.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 17 (01:00:59):
Who else came with some ones at the end? Ted Digital.
You know, I always had Rick Rock and Droopy. You
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
All of them.
Speaker 17 (01:01:07):
You feel me? Decades. You know what I'm saying? Like that.
And so I just went ahead and just put them
all together. Cousin Feek was in there with me. We
lining them up like, we need to put this one
in here. We need to put that.
Speaker 5 (01:01:19):
Whoop, whoop.
Speaker 17 (01:01:20):
I think I got a classic. And it's a collector's
item for life. I mean, it's the best. I mean,
it's one of my best. It's some of my best
work in a while. And not only that, but it's
a game changer.
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
Four albums.
Speaker 14 (01:01:34):
Four albums.
Speaker 17 (01:01:34):
And I did vinyl, CDs. I didn't do cassettes. Vinyl
and CDs.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
40, hold on for a second. We're going to come back.
We got more with 40 Water.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
That's E40 in the neighborhood. Y'all continue to hang with us.
Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (01:01:46):
You're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
Big Boy's Neighborhood back up in here with the king
of slanguage, E40 in the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (01:01:54):
A40, when did the hat start to switch up?
Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
Because now these hats that you wear, these are like
water hats, like 40 water hats. Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
But at one point, it was like a different hat.
It was the caps, you know, the fitteds.
Speaker 17 (01:02:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
When did you find these hats?
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
And this is now something else that creates the look.
Speaker 17 (01:02:15):
These kind of hats go back to the 70s in
real life, like a lot of Rastafarians wear them. Yeah,
but you do a different roll-up, though. Right, right, yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
So, you know.
Speaker 10 (01:02:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:02:27):
So I started off, you know, rolling up the regular ones,
trying to find the biggest one. Then a guy just,
you know, connected me with a plug. And, you know,
he started making them because he wanted to make them
bigger for himself. So I was like, man, you know what?
I'm talking about every, so I bought every color, still do.
And I'm like, every, and I take care of them, right? Every,
(01:02:49):
not every rapper, but hella rappers, hella, everybody want to, like,
you might get some goofies. You know, they're out there. Oh,
he got a condom on his head. You know, everybody jokes.
That's fine. I like jokes. But this player, man, you
know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
This is fashion, man.
Speaker 17 (01:03:03):
You know what I'm saying? A lot of motherfuckers really
want one of these.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Hats, man.
Speaker 17 (01:03:06):
Don't get it fucked up. Trust me, man.
Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
You know what I mean? This is my own look.
It's 4-0, man.
Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
Don't try to look like 4-0.
Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
Don't try to do it. Don't try to do it. Amen.
But there's so much to it. There's a look.
Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
Like, I don't know if you ever caught it, man,
but people dress up as 40 on Halloween. Yeah. They
got these new things where they do like, oh, we
do an album cover theme party.
Speaker 5 (01:03:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
Motherfucker go in dressed as E-40.
Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Like, there is a look to 40 that I expect, too,
when I see you.
Speaker 17 (01:03:41):
I'm one of the most imitated rappers. Everybody try to
imitate my voice. Like, you know, make.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:03:46):
They have fun with it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Yeah, man.
Speaker 17 (01:03:48):
I'm going to sound like 40.
Speaker 7 (01:03:49):
Ooh.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (01:03:50):
They do.
Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
But anytime somebody say 40, somebody go, ooh. Absolutely.
Speaker 14 (01:03:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
And it could just be anything. Like, yeah, man, I
saw Ford the last. Oh, you saw Ford?
Speaker 15 (01:03:58):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
Yeah, man. Yeah, man.
Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
And then you got people on social media. Their thing
is they try to sound like you.
Speaker 5 (01:04:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
They emulate the voice. They try to rap like you.
Speaker 19 (01:04:08):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
I crack up. I love it.
Speaker 17 (01:04:10):
I don't be tripping. I'm like, hey, when they stop
doing it, that's when you worry about it. When they
stop talking about you and your name ain't in the conversation,
that's when you know you better switch up and do
some different shit. Get back on like a light switch,
you understand?
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
40 Water, we got more to speak on. Y'all continue
to hang out with us in the neighborhood. We got
more with E-40 in the neighborhood, Big Boy's Neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (01:04:32):
You're listening to the Big Boy's Neighborhood podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Big Boy's Neighborhood back up in here with the king
of slang, which E-40 in the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
Hey, man, what I want to do with you right now, 40, Mount.
Speaker 17 (01:04:44):
Westmore.
Speaker 5 (01:04:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
We've taken four legends. And put them together in one group.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
You, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too Short, everyone that had
no reason to get together.
Speaker 5 (01:05:00):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
But all came together. Every one of them a headliner.
Speaker 10 (01:05:05):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
Every one of them are platinum artists and got fan
bases and everything, man.
Speaker 14 (01:05:10):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
What made you guys come together as Mount Westmore? And
bless us with what we're seeing there. So, um, first
and foremost, we've been friends for over 30 some years.
Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 17 (01:05:24):
Family, you know, we, when we not touring together, we
got spot dates and we all, when we get together,
it's like a big, like family reunion, like genuine love, hugs,
the whole woo-wop, you know, and we just, we, we
the same, you know, era, the whole woo-wop. So we
was like, so, um, I was tripping on hot wings.
(01:05:45):
They had asked me who was, um, I think they,
you know, hot wings.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
Like the show ones.
Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
Hot ones.
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
Yeah, when you eat the wings and do the interview.
Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:05:53):
So I was tripping on that. I was like, oh,
they had asked me, you know, who was my Mount
Rushmore of the West Coast? And I said the same
exact group way many years before. But we didn't have
that title of Mount Westmore. So I had a former
manager who was a good friend of mine. Things didn't
(01:06:14):
go like it should have been. But he was like,
y'all should put a group together during the pandemic. You
know what I mean? And so I was like, you
know what? I'm going to do it. So I called them.
Called them dudes, man. And the first person I called,
I knew the first person who I had to call.
Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
Can I guess?
Speaker 17 (01:06:29):
Can y'all guess?
Speaker 14 (01:06:30):
Go.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Let me guess. People will probably think one. But was
it Cube?
Speaker 10 (01:06:37):
Yep.
Speaker 17 (01:06:38):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
People probably think Snoop off of Busy, this, that, and
the other. But Cube. Why Cube was the first call?
Because he the most stubborn. Right. Hey, man, I love
when I have you and Cube in here together. We
go crazy. Man. That's my guy.
Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
So did Cube see it at first or it took
another call?
Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
Nah.
Speaker 17 (01:07:00):
The way I explain it, I didn't have to do
too much explaining. It was like a no-brainer. But it's
a trip because So I was like, Cube, you know, hey, man,
we all family. We legendary. We legacy rappers. You know, me, you, Short, Snoop.
(01:07:20):
So we just, you down with it, whatever. Whatever I said, right?
He was like, I said, we just need a name
for it. And he, him, it's like he had that
shit on deck. I never mentioned this to him ever
in my life. That nigga just, Mount Westmore.
Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
And you was like, man, call my lawyer. Did you
tell the other people?
Speaker 17 (01:07:40):
No, I said, no, I said, bingo.
Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
Right.
Speaker 17 (01:07:44):
I said, then I called Short. I already knew Short
was in it.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:07:49):
Then we called Snoop. Snoop was like, yeah, cuz, let's
do it. You know how Snoop be talking and shit.
Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
40, hold on for a second. We're going to come back.

Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Do you ever go back and listen to any of
your old music, 40, and trip off of what you
said or how you said it?
Speaker 17 (01:08:27):
Back when I first started?
Speaker 2 (01:08:28):
Yeah, or even like, my s * * *.
Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
And you know, there's sometimes I'll call you, and I'll say, man,
what did you say here? Or I'll call you, or like,
I got E-40, like, different playlists, right?
Speaker 9 (01:08:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
And there's times, like, when you say shot him in
the shirt, nobody says shot him in the shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Nobody says that. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 17 (01:08:45):
Dead on arrival. Now the town is funky. It's called survival,
which I want to do. They got a skunk. Well,
if it was a fifth, all of us would be drunk.
I'm heated. Them niggas cheated. Played me false. We had
a meeting. Poster been squashed. I know there's one kid
with a... double dribble and set him up, y'all. She
likes the money in the middle. Play tetherball. Thick ass.
I forgot all that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
Oh, my God. I don't even know how I remember that.
I'm still reading.
Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
I'm talking about just as easy as last week when
I called you.
Speaker 17 (01:09:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
And I've asked you this before, man, that being a
player since my youth, I think I recall when I
got my first tooth.
Speaker 17 (01:09:21):
I was a teething little old heathen sipping off, purging
off Bombay juice.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
What's in the... I don't know. What was that?
Speaker 17 (01:09:29):
That was all balling out of control.
Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
That's where... Oh, yeah, that's where it was. Let's get high, loaded,
and smoke again. So that started on a... But he
started having those beer plans since my youth. I think
I recall when I got my first tooth. I was like,
then after that, he just leaves. When you say, put
his mother on, man, your partner got to go.
Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
Come on. Hey, man, how do you write that down?
Let alone say it.
Speaker 17 (01:10:00):
I wrote it down, too. I used to edit my, like,
I have a notepad, a yellow one, a white one, and, like,
If it's something that I need to edit in, I
take the pen and I cut it out. I'm going
to show people one day on Instagram because I got
a hell of a book list of it, and I
cut that out and replaced the word that I want
to put in there. I was doing my own little editing.
(01:10:20):
I'm a unique person.
Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
On the paper?
Speaker 17 (01:10:22):
On the paper, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
You would cut the paper?
Speaker 17 (01:10:24):
Yeah, but that's how I know I'm told.

It's a Rode phone case, but it comes with a
lip gloss in the back. Well, it doesn't come with it,
but it's supposed to have a lip gloss in the back,
so it has like a random empty spot open.
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
Okay, have you put a lipstick in there?
Speaker 16 (01:11:04):
Not yet, because it's so new. It's like brand new.
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
I just got it yesterday. That's kind of clever.
Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
At first, I thought it was to stick your finger
in there, but then it's upside down for the camera.
Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
I think it's for her blunts.
Speaker 10 (01:11:14):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
That would be really smart.
Speaker 10 (01:11:17):
