When you talk about Swedish pop music, its foundational pillars
are the two a's first Abba, then Asa Bass. The
reggae infuse pop band was responsible for seven top forty
songs across the nineties, most famously I Saw the Sign,
All That She Wants and Don't Turn Around. They're known
for their happy, care free sound, but their story was
anything but that. They were huge worldwide except in their

native Sweden, where they were almost universally hated. The money
wasn't evenly shared in the band, so there was infighting
and now all those challenges will finally be told in
the three part series arriving next month. Named after one
of those hits, Asa Bass All That She Wants. It
will feature unseen footage and interviews of the band and
also reveal how they directly paved the way for Robin
