You know, normally we don't talk about showrunners switching deals
with networks, but this is kind of different because this
is a one man TV empire that we're actually talking about.
Taylor Sheridan, the household name behind more hit shows than
we can rattle off Yellowstone Tulsa king nineteen twenty three,

Mayor of Kingston, is packing his bags.

Yeah, I mean he's leaving Paramount Plus for NBC.

But two things are worth noting right off the bat.
This is not happening anytime soon. He's going to stay
on Paramount until his current deal ends at the tail
end of twenty twenty eight, and all his shows fans
love aren't going with him.

Yeah. Everything is owned by Paramount and they're not exactly
just going to give him their most popular content.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, so he'll be forced to develop all new content
when he eventually makes the move to NBC. But considering
how prolific he is and how much he's rumored to
be get paid for the switch as in like a ton,
I don't think he's worried at all.
