Eve has managed to carve out a successful career in
multiple lanes of entertainment. She's been a best selling rapper,
an actor, even starring in her own sitcom, co host
on the Talk, a producer, much more. And it takes
a certain level of guts and confidence to try her
hand at so many different things, but Eve tells The
Hollywood Reporter her secret has been to just go for it.
She says, I've never had the kind of thoughts like
I'm going to be the first to do this. I

kind of just lean into what I feel, and opportunity
seem to come up and I think, Okay, I'm gonna leap.
I just like jumping off the cliff. I never wanted
to do or be one thing. I never wanted to
be in a box. If anybody ever tried to put
me in one, I was always trying to break out.
