Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest and Biold broke into
radio at twenty twenty three with her Skiffley Crap that
hit Numb Little Bug, which critics celebrated for its songwriting,
but she tells Songwriter Universe this song's success ended up
leading to a severe case of writer's block.

Yeah, she says, this song obviously led to way bigger
opportunities for her, including writing sessions with big time producers,
but that wasn't necessarily the best thing for her.

Yeah, it's those producers' job to pick up our ideas,
but that ended up filling her with self doubt and
that's gotta be tough.

I'm sure she struggled with staying true to herself and
to her music. So she said, you know what, I'm
taking a break right when her career was taken off, But.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
It was the best thing for her. She found her
voice again and carved out time to focus on her
mental health and learned to love music again.

Now she's back with her debut album, Tales of a
Failed Shape Shifter, which is out now.
