When you look back at the nineties and the groups
that dominated the music scene, you can't leave the Fuji's
out of the chat.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Yeah, I mean they were huge and their album The
Score went seven times platinum.
Speaker 4 (00:13):
Their songs are Timeless, Ready or Not, Fujila.
Speaker 5 (00:16):
Killing Me Softly, and The Score actually just celebrated its
thirtieth anniversary because it was released in February of ninety six.

And when you consider the impact they had, it's almost
hard to believe that Fuji's only released two studio albums.

The Score ended up being their last one. But it
looks like.

Their fans finally might get a few more songs from
that golden era.

Actually, why Cleff visited the Jennifer Hudson Show, Hi Jennifer,
and mentioned some gems from The Score recording sessions that
were left on the cutting room floor they might get
released now.

He described them as mostly outtakes in freestyles, but he
thinks celebrating the album's thirtieth anniversary by putting them out
would be really amazing.

So it's all still TBD.

But what is confirmed is it why Cliff will reunite
with Lauren Hill for performance at a festival she's organizing
in the UK that's going down early August.
