Dan Levy is back with Big Mistakes, his new show,
co created with Rachel Senate and his first original scripted
since the Emmy winning Juggernaut Shit's Creek went off the air
six years ago.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Yeah, and everybody has been asking him since twenty twenty,
what are you doing next? And he just admitted he
was really not a fan of that question.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
And particularly that's because people were jumping at him to
find out immediately, literally right after Shit's Creek ended.
Speaker 5 (00:26):
He jokes, God forbid, I knacked.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
He needed time because of what the show meant to
him and fans to regroup, and because.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
He was so proud of what he had done and
had been so celebrated. He knew that going into something
immediately would only make people too quick to draw comparisons.
He wanted the dust to settle.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
It's not like he was not working.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
He kept very busy, even writing and directing a movie,
but didn't make a script TV show until now.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
It's called Big Mistakes. Debut's on Netflix this Thursday.
