We're closing in on the arrival of one of the
most anticipated reboots in years, Malcolm in the Middle Life's
Still Unfair. Impressive. They've managed to get the entire cost
to come back and return, but one no mission, one
glaring omission.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
M Eric Persullivan, who played Malcolm's little brother Dewey, could
not be pulled out of retirement, but it does.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Sound like producers didn't just let him say no without
giving him everything they had.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Jane Kusmarrick, who plays Lois aka Mom, tells The Guardian
they offered him buckets of money to come back. He
was like, Nope, not doing it.

But let's give Dewey some extra credit because the reason
he did pass on it was because he's going to Harvard.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yeah, he's going to Harvard to study classic literature like
Dickens and Shakespeare.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
So while Eric does that, which is pretty impressive, Caleb
Ellsworth Clark has stepped in to inherit the role of
Dewey with Eric's blessing. Malcolm in the Middle Life Still
Unfair premieres on Hulu and Disney Plus tomorrow.
