Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jay and Rich Good morning, Will.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, John Day morning everybody by text because I
was watching your Cooking with John Jay over the weekend
and I made a corny joke about your pancake, your
protein pancakes. It was just a corny joke. But uh no,
I was I would text this morning because you guys
had the whole barbecue debate about burgers, and I was like,

(00:25):
that's number one, bro, that's number one.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Wait, I'm looking at your text here and says nothing
about my pancakes. Now that John Jay's doing these Cooking
with John Jay segments at home, I want to see
a barbecue burger or would that be a grilla burger
or would it be cook a burger?

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Either way, I want to see John Jay make one. Listener, Will,
I didn't see one.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
I don't know if I want to make anything, John Jay,
because you don't add the bells and whistles, Like who
makes protein pancakes with no syrup?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I don't like syrup.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
That's crazy, like, and I feel like you're the type
of personage just grilla burger and then not put anything
on it, no seasoning with sult on, but no content.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Let me check this out so, yeah, the other day,
my wife was going somewhere. We went to church, and
then she was gonna go handle this dog situation. We
had a mother dog that wasn't feeding her dogs. So
she goes, you don't have to go with me, and
I said, okay, I'll go with you. She says, no,
you don't have to go with me. It's your Sunday.
You just relax. I'm like, okay. So I grabbed all
these leftovers and I was gonna make a Cooking with

(01:22):
John Jay segment and I started filming it, and I
took these leftover potatoes and I put them in a
pan with coconut oil. And the potatoes are cooking, and
they're cooking, and my wife's on the fun I'm starting
to make the video and my wife's on the phone
the background, which is kind of rude. I'm trying to
make content right. Then she comes in and she goes, hey,
I'm gonna go pick up this suck. So my potatoes
are cooking. So I take the potatoes in the pan

(01:43):
and I take them off the thing off the burner.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Okay, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I think off one burner to the other burner because
I don't want to burn them because I'm making content
as well as potatoes. So the flame is going, but
it's not the pant's not on the flame. You follow me, yeah,
and I'm like, what do you need? And she goes, well,
I'm gonna go get this dog, do whatever. And then
she goes, don't do that.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
You can't do that.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Turn off the fire. Turn off the fire. You're gonna
burn the house down. I go, what are you talking about? Like,
I'm standing, that's so dangerous. It's so I go, it's
dangerous if I leave the gas on and there is
no flame.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I go, but I'm standing here in front of the.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Flame, talking to you, waiting for you to finish so
I can put my potatoes back on. And it put
me in such a bad mood. I turned it off
and I took the camera. I put it on me
and I go cookie with John Jay. Segment is ruined. Men,
I'm gonna put right in front of her, right in
front of her.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I was so mad.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So when you see the video, when you see me
post that, know that at that moment, I was so mad.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Potatoes.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
She's not wrong, though, because fire doesn't it get bigger
with oxygen so if you just leave an open flame,
it is brons for burning your house.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
If you watch any kind of cooking show and there
you got the flame going on, they're.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Moving the plates to do whatever.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Professional.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I'm just and I'm standing. I turned to talk to her,
do you know what I mean? And I don't want
to burn my potatoes anyway, I turned, I was like
brewing in. I went with her and it took all day.
And that's what I got attacked by the camel.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
That happened after potatoes flammable.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I don't know. If i'm cooking, it's usually there's pretty
much a fire, but I'm in front of.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
It, just as in tutorials.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Maybe that's your jam. Remember when John Jay got so
mad about burning potatoes. What do you see the video?
You can see me pissed and I play it all
on her. Of course you will. Thanks for calling in, brother.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah, of course I'll be great.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
