Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Farah, thanks for holding it. You're on the air, Hie,
what's up?
Speaker 2 (00:04):
My best friend livesy she lives in LA and like
she came into town and didn't tell me like at all,
and I'm like so pissed, and I feel like she's
purposely trying to ruin our friendship, like she stopped sharing
her location, and I just like, you know how I
found out about it, Like our friend, our other friend
like posted a picture with her, So that's how I
(00:25):
found out. And I'm like trying to like text them
and they're not responding. I try to call. No one's
like calling me back, And I just want to know
why you know you did it? So like why don't
like why are you not like responding or like at
least like telling me why you didn't tell me?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Ye could be real, Johnjy. Do you remember when you
told me you saw my best friend in your neighborhood
and I was like, what, she's in town. She's done
that a couple of times, and it's like, why wouldn't
you tell us? But now I've gotten to like understand
that she's got other things going on, like they have
a couple of rental property here and you know, sometimes
she comes and just spends time with her parents and
(01:04):
doesn't want to have to juggle like parents and friends
and all the things.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
So your affairs was a friend was with a friend? Yeah, yeah,
right that when I saw your friend, if she was
with another friend.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I'd be likecuse me, excuse me?
Speaker 5 (01:18):
What I think?
Speaker 6 (01:19):
It is such a universal thing, like especially for us girls,
because that's happened to me too. Like I've had a
best friend that was living in New York and she
came into town and I was renting from her parents,
and she didn't tell me she was in town, and
I would see her outside in the backyard.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I'd be like, bro, what are your problem? Your thing? Within?
Speaker 7 (01:36):
Like, hey, how's it going, Payton, And when you were
literally fifteen.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Feet away, come knock on the door and say, Hi,
what's wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Because sometimes that just takes time.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
You want to like you're if you're a high, Like, yeah,
I have a trip coming up, and it's a little day,
a couple of days off, and I know a friend
of mine is going to want to connect and I
don't want to see him.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I don't want to give him my time.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
I lived with her parents, I know that, but we
talked it out and her thing was kind of like
what Kyle was saying, is that there's so much stuff
to do. But I was like, bro, you could at
least you just text me.
Speaker 8 (02:06):
And tell me.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
So I guess Parah, we're just saying we call her friend.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, let's do it.
Speaker 6 (02:11):
Let's call her.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
How does that sound? Okay? Hi, what's her name again?
Speaker 6 (02:16):
Lindsay?
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Okay, let's call Lindsay. Hello, Hi, Lindsey.
Speaker 7 (02:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Hey, this is the John Jay and Rich radio program
on the radio station. We'd like to call you and
talk to you live on the air. Is that okay?
Do you have a minute talk on the air?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah, we want to pat you through with somebody. We
want to talk to you on the air with somebody else,
if that's okay, okay, okay. So we want you to
say hi to Parah.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
You know Farah Fair my best friend.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, Hi, best friend? Okay, Yes, Faris.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Oh Hi girly you're in town?
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Right? Uh?
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Fair?
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Why question?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Do you know where you're.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
I'm so confused.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
I know because I'm like a little confused. You fly
back all the way from my leg and like you
you don't even like reach out. You don't even text
and be like hey, I'm here, okay, hold on.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Forever, and you have communication here, like oh just.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Communication, like you stop sharing your location. You never texted
me like I've called you, like legit, I've called you
like maybe like twenty times, saut.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
Okay, way hold on, hold on. Let you have have
to listen to me, like please, like just give me
a second to talk.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Okay, okay, all.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Right, you need to like just.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Hold it, like.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
Just put a pin. I can tell how mad you
are right now. But like I literally came here, like
came in town to surprise you for your birthday.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Your fake stop stop lying, like just just say like.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Serious, I did all of this to like come in
and surprise you and make it like super special for you,
like you can even as Ajordan, he knows that I'm
here because we wanted to surprise you at your dinner tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
So why'd you post a picture? Then? No, they did,
She said you posted a picture posted a picture, right, So.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
I was going to suggest that actually I was gonna guess,
but then because the friend posted a picture, like no.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Of course not, the friend would stay quiet. That's stupid
to surprise.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
Is it your birthday, Sarah.
Speaker 7 (05:09):
Like in three days, so she came into town four
weeks in advance.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
But there's a dinner tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Sarah, I mean there was supposed to be.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, well well perhaps, I mean this is the best
case scenario, Sarah, don't be mad anymore. Like your BF
was coming in down to surprise you.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
No, she came last week. And they're posting pictures like
it's Jordan's, it's Lindsay, it's Jennifer all together, like so stupid.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Why they would post it.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Maybe they had, Maybe she had to come in town
earlier to like help make plans. Maybe they're decoration.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I understand that, but why you posted that you haven't.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
Won too many lemon drop Martinez, okay something, But.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Then but then then you surprise Parah that night. All
there just doesn't make this silly. It's definitely a fair.
Now watch now, Lindsey's putting together a quick surprise party.
She's like, we're gonna have to fly by tomorrow. Like
I just dread you'd be like Fair, you're so high maintenance.
I didn't want to see you I see some other time.
I everything's going on. I want to make something up
my grandmother died.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Oh my gosh, I don't make that up.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Something because all right, well anyway, so how does that
make you feel?
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Fair? There's a big surprise party for you tomorrow. Surprise.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
This is so confusing, Like I I love Lindsey, but
like my heart is a little bit broken.
Speaker 7 (06:28):
I know we should hold on to is that when
we said, you know fairreh, she's like my best friend.
That's the first thing she said before any of us
knew anything was going on. So hold on to that too.
I don't think she's lying.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Yeah, have fun at your birthday dinner, Like, don't be mad,
just have a good time.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
You gotta fake it's fair and say, oh my god,
I didn't put two and two together when I saw
all you guys in the picture.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Together in town on my birthday.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
All right, thank you guys to go there with us.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
All right, that's Jodgy and Rich must have had hope,
John Rich, Teresa, good morning, you're in the air.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
Hey, how are you guys? Sorry, I'm a little horse, but.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
So I just wanted.
Speaker 8 (07:16):
To call in and thank you guys for the Chris
Brown tickets last night. That so was so amazing. It
was so good. Yeah, he like ate, like, oh my gosh,
he ate every concert I've been to so far. Yeah,
it was he was the just the energy, the vibe.
(07:37):
Everybody was like there to have a good time. I
sat next to other winners of tickets and we were
all like, the seats were phenomenal, awesome.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
That's epic.
Speaker 6 (07:48):
I agree with you, Teresa. I was there last night too,
and it was definitely the best show of the year
so far.
Speaker 8 (07:54):
Easily, and the handing was like I wanted.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
More, and I usually don't stay till the end of
the shows, and I stayed till the end of Chris Brown.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
And really he's just such a good Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
I didn't get home till like twelve thirty last night,
but he's just such a good performer. And what I
really really loved about the show and Terrey, so I'm
sure you probably appreciate this too, but when he had
to go do his outfit changes, his DJ came on
and the DJ played the songs that Chris Brown wasn't
gonna sing, so we still got the kiss kiss, you
know what I mean, We got all of the fun ones.
And then what I also what I also loved too,
(08:27):
is how Chris Brown has incorporated AI into his shows.
So he basically puts up four like kind of diamond
type things with all songs from like different eras of
his life, and then he lets this AI thing go
through and it picks random songs, so you get a
different show in every city, and he does three songs
that are picked by AI, and it was epic. He
(08:47):
did yeah times three. He did forever, Like he did
such a great job. It was such a good show.
Speaker 7 (08:53):
I would think heest songs right well, yeah, but he
doesn't do them for every show.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
It's kind of like how when Drake was here, he
did a different he closed every show with a different song.
But Chris Brownes actually did that but three times.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
It was dope.
Speaker 8 (09:06):
Yeah, it was so so good, so good, and just
the Dan scene and he was like when he came
out and was on you know when he flew out
like over the audience and we were like right where
the round scene was where he landed on it and
the dancers were there. Oh that's also.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I saw on Instagram. I think Peyton you posted it
on John Jay Richards gram where he was singing no
air Yeah, Jordan sparks right, So I was like, is
Jordan coming out. I kept waiting.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
I thought he want I thought he would have done it.
He should have done it, because Jordan Sparks is from Arizona.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
But yeah, I was like wondering if he would do that.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
She is, but no, I don't know, you guys, like
I mean no Air. That's like a goaded song, Like
that's like in the archives, like everybody knows No Air,
and I legit got goosebumps when that song comes.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
We had Jordan Sparks in here and never forget her
sitting right here telling us what a that was like
the love of her life was Chris Brown.
Speaker 6 (10:02):
Chris Brown, Okay, Teresa, tell me if you felt this
way though, because like when Chris Brown like he's a dancer,
like that man is like a phenomenal, phenomenal performer. Tell
me if you felt this way. I felt like he
was dancing with one of his dancers and like maybe
he forgot he was on stage a little bit like
they were a little spicy.
Speaker 8 (10:20):
Like several times I was like and when she grabbed
the family jewel like ye.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
No, she did me too.
Speaker 6 (10:27):
I was like, I literally drawn to the floor. Girl,
I feel you yeah, like yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:32):
No, I mean like, well, yeah, it was a little
bit provocative. Yeah, I kind of means the scine. I
was like, oh, maybe they're forgetting what's going on. But yeah,
it was good, and you know what it was all
in all, Like he was just like I cannot believe
(10:52):
the dancing that he does, Like that's what he's known for.
But I was like so incredibly blown away by briefing
that he did everything.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Well, Teresa, we're glad you called it into sharing story
with it.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
Did he do?
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (11:05):
The little Dicky song? I woke up in.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
Friday, but when the AI thing went on, I was
the only one take Freaky Friday.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
I'm like, yes, that was I'm screaming.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
You guys were kind of sitting by each other, all right, Teresa,
have a great day. Thank you so much for listening.
Your voice sounds great.
