Listen, let me tell you as a guy that I
never introduced to anybody to my mom. So this is
what I think that he's doing. So he's like, Mom,
I really like this girl. I want to bring her by.
I want you to meet her. Okay. Then he's telling
you I don't want anything. I don't want a relationship,
but you know we're casually dating. Then he wants to
see what mom says, and if Mom says you're amazing,

then he will follow up and be like, oh, wow,
hey this is great. But instead it sounds like Mom
didn't like you.

Wow.

I was thinking a totally different route. I was thinking, like,
his mom's been pressuring him to have someone in his life,
and he's saying, I do I do. She doesn't believe him.
She's like, let me meet her. Right that he brings
about to satisfied mom, but then reminds you, hey, this
is just appeasing my mom.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Okay.

So what's interesting about the two different dilemmas yours and
mine is mine? I think comes from the perspective of
a very close relationship with mom. I want my mom
to see this girl to tell me if you like her.

The other way is kind of like you're lying the mom.

Mine's coming from a really good place relationship with my
mom where I want my mom to check this girl out,

keeping her arm's length in case my mom says.

My god, Billy slept but the five times and I'd
be like, oh, hey, because then what did he say

for Hannah because even if Mom didn't like her, now
