Speaker 5 (00:35):
Hey there, how are you up?
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Great Steve?
Speaker 6 (00:39):
Well, I just wanted to let you know I've been
noticing the person you've been posting.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
I haven't been the most recent.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
One I like, liked, and I was thinking about getting
into my girlfriend.
Speaker 7 (00:48):
I don't seek you might not be able to get that.
Speaker 8 (00:50):
I mean, it's pretty hard to get a burken the
burken bag.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
So that's a So you're so, Steve, you're a guy,
kind of like I'm a guy and I don't know
anything about purses. And I found out that a woman
that I know has this incredible collection of purses, and
she and these purses are like, what's the story with
the coll You can't just get them?
Speaker 7 (01:09):
Well, you can't.
Speaker 8 (01:10):
You have to like establish a rapplya with Ermez, which
is the story they sell am I And even if
you shop there, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a perkin.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Yeah. So yesterday the purse I posted most recently was
a purple purse, the Evangeline. Did you guys see it? Yeah,
you see it. So I got a lot of messages
on it. Steve A turn on the radio and explain
it to you. So the Evangeline, she told me, this
purse was created in nineteen seventy eight. But it was
a bag used for horses where they carried horse supplies,
and whoever was using was wearing it. Everyone wanted one,
(01:41):
and they created this purse, the Evangeline. Now, I said,
is the purse that you're holding right now was made
in nineteen seventy eight? She was, no, no, No, this model
the Evangeline was made in nineteen seventy eight. So and
then there's a whole story behind it. This woman that
has these purses, she's so fascinating. I'd love to get
her to come in here and talk about their person.
How much would you say the evangel Leen goes for
I don't know. Can you google?
Speaker 8 (02:02):
The Evangeline isn't as prestigious as the.
Speaker 9 (02:07):
Highest I so don't understand.
Speaker 7 (02:10):
The bur is a totally different bag than that one.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Oh so you've heard of the Evangeline, but I think ye,
the Evelyn.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
I thought you said Evangeline.
Speaker 7 (02:22):
That's why I put it googling Evangeline.
Speaker 8 (02:25):
I don't know, but I'm like, that one's not the
Burkin is like it's the one that has the buckle.
This one it's like almost like a saddle bag with
like an H dotted in the side.
Speaker 7 (02:34):
Yeah, totally looks like a satchel. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Yeah, that's because you can see people had all the
horse applies there.
Speaker 7 (02:39):
Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
So Hermez makes burkin, right, Yes.
Speaker 8 (02:46):
It's as if you were Okay, So Louis Vuitton is
the brand is the brand, and then the burkin is
one of the types.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Of bags like Nike's to Shoe air or air Force one. Okay,
but somez makes the bag, and a Burkin is in
her Metz, and an Evangeline is in a Metz but
an Evangeline, but the like the Kelly. I thought that
Kelly was a Burcle.
Speaker 7 (03:07):
It's also not.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
No, the Kelly's not a Burke.
Speaker 7 (03:10):
I don't think the Kelly is a Burkin, but it's
had her miss Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Man, I'm gonna I'm gonna ask you this later today,
make but Kyle, and you have what's the purse you
have right there?
Speaker 8 (03:20):
I don't know the name of it. It's a Louis Vutant,
but I don't know the Okay, that's necessarily whatever it's
probably wouldn't fit in her collection, but I did have
it on my lap the other day when I was
in the car driving with Scott. So I'm in the
pastag sheet, I'm looking for something in my purse and
I'm like, what is that smell? And so I'm like, oh,
(03:43):
my gosh, I think my purse smells, and so I'm
sniffing it and it doesn't smell as bad today, but
my purse reeks, and I started getting like a little insecure,
like my purse smells, does that mean I smell?
Speaker 7 (03:56):
I'm gonna have to.
Speaker 8 (03:57):
Like, I'm definitely gonna have to like switch out the
purse because it stinks inside.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
You want to smell it. What does it smell like?
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
It was like, does it make you smell like that
time you smell bad chicken? Real, No, it's not that.
Speaker 8 (04:13):
It's almost like sour, like did something accidentally die in
my person?
Speaker 7 (04:17):
I don't realize it.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
You've checked through and there's nothing contents. Is there any
food left over in there? Anything that's a big bag?
Speaker 7 (04:28):
It doesn't.
Speaker 9 (04:29):
It stinks.
Speaker 8 (04:30):
It stinks instinct it's kind of heavy sor you gotta
you gotta stick your nose really in there. I was
searching and it was it's like a sour smell, but
there is no rotten food in there. I know that
it smells like leather if I can smell it.
Speaker 7 (04:46):
It doesn't stink. It doesn't stink. It smells a little
sour smell.
Speaker 8 (04:51):
It almost smells like it's not as overpowering today as
it was the other day. So I don't know what happened,
but it does still like you can still smell it.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
Your smell on the side of the.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Corners, like there was some milk in there, a little
bit of milk, dash of milk that.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
I'm gonna smell it. And then like normal and then
I'm gonna take no spray and re smell it because
I can't smell you guys.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
No, it's deep in there.
Speaker 8 (05:13):
Yeah, you kind of have to really stick your nose
in to here to smell the stink.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
I cannot I smell you. Smell what I smell right
now without no spray smells like like fun perfume color.
Speaker 7 (05:29):
It's not as bad as it was.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
If that were in my fridge, I'd be cleaning all
the Okay, no spray.
Speaker 8 (05:35):
Okay, wait are you clear? Are your nasal passages nice
and clear.
Speaker 10 (05:40):
From your.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Last week? I smelt the gas in here.
Speaker 8 (05:45):
All the way up in there, all the way all
the way and real big sniff.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
It smells like it smells good.
Speaker 7 (05:53):
It does not.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Smells like something something foody. I can't smell old faces.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
It doesn't anyway.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
I'm going to need to invent a purse deodorizer. I'm
seeing a need and filling a need with my inventions.
I don't think that those exist yet.
Speaker 7 (06:11):
Yeah, I probably right. Have you seen those sneaker balls
the things that you put in like.
Speaker 11 (06:14):
Yoursh exactly but your back and make it cute and pink.
Speaker 7 (06:18):
And I'm gonna purse perfume.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Yes market now, people, we just played around to pass
the purse.
Speaker 8 (06:27):
Pretty purse, perfume, triple p past the purse.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
I don't think you wanted something that you would have
put in your purse.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
I gotta tell you, my hearing is kind of bad.
And I was all excited and then I say, you
guys passing the purse. I was finally taken there. Didn't
didn't check it's on there, but I'll go for it.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Oh a purse. Just are there any left? I didn't
see any there.
Speaker 7 (06:57):
There's no there's no snacks. And I will say it.
Speaker 8 (07:00):
I don't know what happened, but it did stink more
yesterday than it did today.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
So maybe aired out a little bit because I keep
it open.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Leave it outside in the yard.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Yeah, if you want to want us to pass the purse,
you know, call in, ring your person the radio station.
We'll pass the first yourself, new game past the Purse.
Call us at eighty seven seven nine four seven.
Speaker 8 (07:22):
John Jane Rich called the show at the seven seven
four seven, Hello.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Lawrence, what's up?
Speaker 12 (07:29):
Johndre?
Speaker 4 (07:29):
How are you doing good? What's up? Man three? For you?
Speaker 5 (07:31):
It is so funny.
Speaker 12 (07:32):
This is like my first well, I've been trying to call,
but this my first time actually going through. But I
just called because I was listening to the Flat Friday
episode on Spotify. Yeah, and in the beginning, you guys
were like pressing Paion about her her problem with her
friends three years ago or something like that. And I
just want to tell your guys, that was so funny.
(07:53):
And then you guys just started playing that that Sam
and I was as so funny.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
Yeash, she put her boogers on the wall. And then
my mom talking about.
Speaker 10 (08:05):
It the problem that I know you what the problem was,
(08:29):
and then I get the drama on the wall.
Speaker 7 (08:32):
You want me to talk about it? I learned after
my lessons.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Oh my gosh, you guys make my day every single
every single time I go to work.
Speaker 13 (08:44):
So I work construction.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I've never worked construction. I've just started this construction job.
And every single time I drive to a job site,
I just listen to you guys just show and it
just makes me smile before I start, you know, digging
dirt and all that stuff. So I just want to
tell you guys, I appreciate you.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I appreciate you. Thanks for this work. Man, really appreciate you, Lawrence,
drive safe Man, thanks for calling in.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
Yeah, thank you, guys, you auctually care.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
That was nice. What a nice guy, Lawrence Staff for
Peyton's predictions.
Speaker 11 (09:10):
Pyton Today, I feel like this is the season for
like all of the rom cam movies. So I'm gonna
tell you the character that you would be in your
very own rom com.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Darylynn, good morning, good morning. What's your sign?
Speaker 9 (09:24):
Libra?
Speaker 11 (09:26):
Okay, so my labra is just like you, Kyle. When
it comes to you guys being in a rom com,
you guys are actually the charming, romantic lead. You guys
always have perfect hair, like even in the crazy weather,
and you're indecisive, but the universe bends over backwards to
give you a dramatic kiss in the final scene. So
your survival rating in the movie is a ten out
of ten because the plot protects you.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
You guys are the star. Hey for us, darlnd.
Speaker 14 (09:49):
Yay, that is so wonderful.
Speaker 15 (09:51):
And I love Kyle's hair.
Speaker 11 (09:53):
So exactly imagine perfect.
Speaker 7 (09:59):
That's so very nice.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
All right, have a great day, thanks for listening.
Speaker 16 (10:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
How about Pisces.
Speaker 11 (10:05):
Yeah, Rich Pisces, you're the dreamy protagonist who believes in
love and miracles and signs from the universe. You fall
for someone after one intense icon talct moment, and your
survival rating of the movie is a fifty to fifty shot.
It depends on how many times you wander off in
the snow.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
So spot On, Payton So spot On.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
How about for.
Speaker 11 (10:25):
Leo's Yeah, I'm a Leo us Leo's we are the
glamorous city girl who returns to her hometown and makes
the entire cast gas about our entrance. We fall for
someone who has like no social media presence but has
like insane Johnline cemetery, and we survived the movie. And
we also get like a wardrobe montage Virgos John J.
Fer Virgos, You're the overworked assistant who organizes everyone else's
(10:49):
lives but somehow forgets about your own love story. You
actually fall for someone deeply inconvenient for you, and you survive,
but only after a breakdown in a grocery store.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
They're just.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
All right, that's the Horsecopes. If we need to get
your signed there, I'll post on our website. John Jaydrich
dot com.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Mos Well, it's beautiful, say is it?
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Good morning, Samantha Hey.
Speaker 17 (11:14):
I just like spent a full week with my boyfriend's family,
and I need to know if this is like a
breakup sign or like a knee problem. Okay, I didn't
just dislike them.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
I hated them his family?
Speaker 17 (11:25):
Why family? Hate all of them? Why his mom critics
everything I eat? His dad turns like every conversation into
a bait that I did not sign up for. The siblings,
I'll talk over each other like it's a competition. Nobody
knocks before walking in the room, so like, fyday through,
I'm just like hiding.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
In the bathroom.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Are you an only child?
Speaker 8 (11:47):
Like sounds like family, normal family, But I could also
see when it's not your family that being annoying.
Speaker 17 (11:57):
I could see that it was insane. And my boyfriend
was just like, actually, this is all like totally normal
and could just kept saying but bull is.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
Usually ko we are.
Speaker 17 (12:06):
So I'm like, okay, cool, this is how I am.
And I'm overwhelmed and irritated and like questioning my future.
So I guess I'm just like, if you don't like
someone's family to just like, is it like the cost
of admission or is this like the universe being like
get out.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Go you know, you know that saying they say that,
you know, just marry someone, you marry their family. Yeah,
And it's kind of like, I wonder if there's anybody
listening that's actually been in love with somebody I think
they're just so amazing, but dumped them because of their family.
That'd be so tough. I sometimes I feel so blessed
in certain things with my wife because she's got a
great relationship with her dad, she has a great family,
(12:41):
she's got perfect feet, Like these are things that I
wasn't concerned about when I got married, and I stumbled
into that stuff. So I can't imagine not liking their
family because they're always around You always got family around them.
Speaker 7 (12:53):
And you're gonna have to deal with them for a
long time.
Speaker 8 (12:55):
And the last thing you want to do is like
tear him away from his family. You don't want to
isolate him from that because that's kind of lame.
Speaker 11 (13:01):
Yeah, especially if his conversation is like that's just how
we are. He's not like I know yeah, yeah, no,
like he obviously loves them and rocks with him.
Speaker 7 (13:09):
You're in a really tough situation. It's like almost you
have to you have to go how.
Speaker 8 (13:13):
Much do I really love him? Do I love him
more than I hate his family?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Don't you think those quirks though, kind of grow on
you if you really love your guy, which sounds like
you do. Like, I mean, you know, my wife's family
is kind of nuts, so but I think it's entertaining.
So now I just go from that side. No offense
to anybody who's listening, but you know you're nuts, but
I kind of find it entertaining. So I just roll
with it. The things that used to drive me crazy,
(13:40):
now I just accept a kind of part of it.
Speaker 17 (13:43):
Yeah, I don't know, man, I don't.
Speaker 7 (13:46):
Think that the love how.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
You get married and then you guys take a job
and go live somewhere else, far far away, so you
only see him once a year.
Speaker 17 (13:56):
You could do that, but that's like kidnapping.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
I wouldn't break out, buffer, and I just kind of
find a way to deal with it.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
You wouldn't break up if you like, hated her mom
and then mom gets to the age or she's got
to move in with you. Yeah, and then you're like,
oh my.
Speaker 7 (14:11):
God, and then literally everything you eat you're eating that.
Speaker 9 (14:14):
Yeahh God.
Speaker 8 (14:15):
I don't know, man, Spaghetti with sauce, you'd be like,
of course, I mean sauce.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
I mean, you could punch back on the family a
little bit, but it sounds like they are how they are.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
That's a tough one, Samantha. But thanks for calling in.
Good luck, gave advice. We gave all kinds of advice,
all right, thank you. If you broke up with someone
because of their family, I'd love to hear it.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
I feel, yeah, you're totally in loss here, totally love
everything between you, perfect and you're sick.
Speaker 18 (14:53):
Guther.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
They get you. They're nice with the.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Parents, the sister and brother. Just I can't too much.
I'm out like I want her eight seven seven ninety
seven for seven. I'll talk to you next. It's John
Jay and Rich.
Speaker 9 (15:06):
Are you kissed to lie?
Speaker 4 (15:14):
So we want to know who is dumped somebody because
you didn't like their family and apparently it's happened before.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Hey, Gus, I had some parents basically let me know
that I that they didn't want me seeing their daughter anymore.
And it was because, according well, one of the reasons
was they said I hardly ever hung out at their house,
and that was the truth, because I found her little
brother to be the most annoying person ever in the world.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
I don't want to go out anymore because I hate
your little brother.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
I mean, she knew it too, and she agreed with me.
But I just didn't hang out over their house a lot.
I took her out a lot. She came over to
my house a lot, and then one day I went
to pick her up and her parents said, wait, we
want to talk to you alone for a second. And
that was one of the reasons they gave me. Why
apparently I was not good enough for their daughter.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Did you Did you tell them about their son being
annoying and that's why you weren't there? No, Well, I.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Was in my early twenties. I guess I wasn't as
as you know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
I thought that was kind of mean, Like, you know,
you would probably be direct and be like, yeah, your
daughter's great, I don't like your son, so we just
go ahead.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
Oh totally totally.
Speaker 15 (16:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Now now it was very different, but yeah, and you know,
like I said, that was one of the reasons. But
that was the main reason.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
She said, that's perfect.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
We still, you know, saw each other a little bit,
but I mean, you know, I was kind of insulted
at some of the other reasons, so it did kind
of turn me off, honestly.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
All right, brother, have a great day, thanks for listening.
All right, make it easy, Brandy, you met a celebrity?
Speaker 1 (16:54):
I did.
Speaker 19 (16:59):
Go ahead, Oh, I met Chester Bennington.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Oh wow, So I met him back.
Speaker 19 (17:06):
In twenty fourteen. I actually worked at a high school
at that time, and I went to one of our
games to support my students and went to the snack
bar line and the guy with the flame tattoos was
behind me and said, hey, ma'am, are you in line?
And I go, oh my gosh, are you Chester Bennington?
He goes, yes, I am. I asked him why he
(17:28):
was there.
Speaker 15 (17:28):
I don't know if you.
Speaker 19 (17:29):
Guys know, but he was very local.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Yes, of course he's from here.
Speaker 19 (17:34):
He was actually supporting his son on the other team.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
That's awesome, so cool. He was always very nice to us.
I met a couple times and he was always nice.
That's what I'm talking about. But I would have got
the camera and filmed it.
Speaker 15 (17:45):
Yeah, oh oh, And you know what.
Speaker 19 (17:47):
I didn't film it, but I tried to take a
selfie and my hands were shaken so bad, so he
actually took the selfie for us. Wow, you and I
have that and it's kind of like my story. And
I was able to go to the Hollywood Bowl when
they did the memorial show for him, and it's I've
got a tattoo and it's kind of like, hey, I
(18:07):
got to meet Chester as a dad. Yeah, you know
that was really really cool.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Thanks Brandy, Thanks for sharing though with us.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Of course, good morning you are hello Hello.
Speaker 6 (18:18):
So yeah, I've got a pretty pretty interesting story. I
was with my ex for man probably about six years.
Speaker 12 (18:26):
And.
Speaker 6 (18:28):
She she's listen, I'm a Christian, I'm very religious, but
her parents, specifically her mom. I mean, it was like
every conversation that literally praying to the Lord that everything
would come true. But the real, the real track on
the back was her locking my children in a poset
(18:51):
for like two hours after watching them babysitting during a day.
Me and my ex both had kids together. We are
a blended family. She started watching the kids and got
frustrated and ended up walking them in the closet for
two hours, only for my kids to come home and
tell me.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
This, well, that's abuse. So it's a little bit different
than I hate their family because just because they asked
too many questions. In fact, do you guys watch number
one on Netflix right now? In movies, it's called evil Influencer?
Have you seen the yet?
Speaker 8 (19:20):
I watched the preview this morning, and I'm like, I
don't know if my heart can handle this for it today.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
So I started a couple of days ago and I've
got about I don't know, maybe twenty minutes left. And
I think because I never followed the story, because I
think there was another documentary on the mom.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
To drive kids in the Lake.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
No no, no, no, no, no no. This is AJR. Thanks
for calling him, brother. This is oh God, she was
a She was an influencer out of Saint George, Utah. Oh,
she's the one that had the family of kids and
they found oh break breakers.
Speaker 11 (19:54):
The neighbors ended up reporting them because the kids were
like malt nerd.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
No, no, no, no escape. Yes, the kids escaped.
Speaker 7 (20:00):
Escape.
Speaker 9 (20:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
It starts off with like the the ring doorbell camera
of the kid coming up and his ankles are duct
taped and his hands are duct taped. And they follow
the story and it's pretty interesting because the dad hasn't
seen the kids in over a year and this woman
lives in this house with this other woman who's a psychologist,
and the psychologist is the one that's doing all this
(20:22):
horrible things so far, and so it's the mom, but
they all get the both they're both in prison or
jail right now.
Speaker 7 (20:26):
But so terrible.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
It's really terrible and it's but it's all camera from
the cops. What do you call it?
Speaker 7 (20:32):
Body cam footage?
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Yeah, but a lot of body cam footage. And it's
really really interesting and it is sad. And also just
let you know, I also fell asleep in the middle
of it, which is very rare for me, because it
got they got to a point where he just kind
of drawing it on because I'm sure they got to
make it an hour.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
And a half, you know what I mean, it's one
and done.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Yeah. Yeah, it's like a series. Right, check in with
John day Ridge.
Speaker 15 (20:58):
And hit the top.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
That Mic guy have stacks of information, Rich has life hacks.
There's a new trend called practice dating. Has anyone here
ever heard of it?
Speaker 1 (21:10):
No?
Speaker 4 (21:11):
I like it. I like it a lot because you know,
when you start dating somebody, you start dating and you
go like, it's not working for anybody. I think sometimes
you gotta maybe that person's or that type you're looking for.
It's not your type. So I always tell my friends,
I go find somebody to do something totally different. Practice
dating is this you go on casual dates with people
that aren't your type. It's supposed to lower the pressure
by helping you build confidence and improve your conversation skills.
(21:33):
It's like when you go out with someone that you
don't know, you're just kind of like practicing.
Speaker 7 (21:37):
I don't like it.
Speaker 11 (21:38):
I don't like it because what if you're on a
date with somebody and you are their type. Technically you're
just wasting their time, Like you could really let someone
down if they are really into and you're all in
there like, oh, I'm just chatting. So I could find
someone who's you know, you know, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (21:54):
What could happen is you go, oh my gosh, you.
Speaker 8 (22:00):
I never thought you were my type, but I actually
really like you.
Speaker 7 (22:03):
That's what something special?
Speaker 4 (22:05):
Yes, exactly what I think. New Survey ask people why
their devices aren't updated. Think about that for a second,
because my wife never updates her devices. So what do
you think of the top answers? Why you never update?
Speaker 1 (22:19):
For me? Like other things don't work with it once you.
Speaker 8 (22:23):
Updated, like a whole new device, or like updates on
your phone.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Updates on your phone.
Speaker 8 (22:28):
Oh, they don't have auto update on That's right.
Speaker 11 (22:33):
It would be like because you don't like the new
features that are on the phone.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
They forgot it's available. They're worried it'll make things worse
and they don't want AI features added in. Yeah, Like,
you guys know what Sherman Williams is or Sherwin Williams
the pain paint company they just named and it's so funny.
This is about paint and I kind of had a
little Oh they just named their loneliest color.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
It's the one that is rarely purchased, no one ever
gets it, but they still make it. The color is
called offbeat green. It looks like broccoli and asparagus soupe.
Speaker 7 (23:06):
Who's using that?
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Because it's a lonely.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Color, they always have a gallon of it if you
need it.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
Though, Have you guys ever heard of email apnea? Email ana?
It's where you hold your breath while reading an email
or answering at text, and it could be quietly adding
stress to your day. So think about that nextime you
read email. If you'll hold your breath, I don't. I
don't think I do. McDonald's is testing a new AI
system that can chat with customers, take orders in multiple languages,
(23:32):
and help run the restaurant operations behind the scenes. I
saw a video of It's prety freakin' awesome, and it
remembers your order too. If you ever come back there,
you say, it's cole On funn. Oh, hey, Kyle, did
you want the same thing? It's all AI, It's all
I don't like it. Seventy six year old woman in
Florida has been sending all her money to someone claiming
to be Liam Neeson.
Speaker 7 (23:54):
Poor old people.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
She's so insistent that she was arrested for punch being
a family member in the face who took her phone
away to stop her from sending money to Liam. Niess, Yeah,
it's so sad. I guess. A bunch of horses that
are in the racing world, you know, like the Kentucky
Derby stuff, they're being These top horses are being successfully cloned,
(24:17):
and now it's complicating the world that equestrian sports. Why
because they're cloned? I guess, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
Why was that complicated? Is that illegal? Is that like pets?
Speaker 8 (24:26):
Like performance enhancing Yes, I think performance enhancing clones.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
Yeah, that was some some dish. Nicholas Cage's got that
TV show called Spider Noir Spider Man that's number one
on Amazon. And I guess did you know Nicholas Cage
turned down the role of Shrek and Shrek Neo and
the Matrix. He turned down Harry in Dumb and Dumber
and are Aragon or whatever the Lord of the Rings.
(24:51):
Those roles went to Mike Myers, Canderives, Jeff Daniels and
Vigel Mortensen.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
Wow, I can't see him in.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
I know. What do you have for life hacks?
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Rich You ever go to a work site and you
see the people in the vest and you're like, I
wonder what color those vests mean. Here's how you can
tell here's your life hack. Yellow commonly used by general workers.
I have a yellow vest. I know you have a
yellow best face.
Speaker 7 (25:14):
Yeah, I try to sneak in a Coachella.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
With it, well, so they think you're a general worker.
Orange is traffic people, green safety officers, blue electricians, red
emergency responders. And if you ever want to see the
person in charge, the supervisor, white vest know in the
color code can make it easier for you to find
the right person quickly when time matters and you are
(25:36):
under the gun. That live hack and many more can
be found at John Jayne rich dot com.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
That's something I want to talk about.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
This game is called firework or You're a jerk.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Okay, it's frieday and John just got a game for you.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
So I'm going to tell you if you have the
company with a real brand of firework. If that's the answer,
you say firework. If it's a trick answer, reply, you're
a jerk.
Speaker 13 (26:06):
Okay, okay, Rich bottle rocket firework.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
It's a small rocket that's approximately the size of a
standard firecracker, about one and a half inches long, and
it is a bottle rocket. Is a real firework? Yes,
Peyton fire towork your jerk. Yeah, it's a small rocket.
It's not right, Kyle Roman candle before you answer, it's
a paper tube filled with a composition that shoots flaming
(26:33):
balls out of one end of the tube. Firework, Yes,
Rich Lance Armstrong candle. It's a paper tube filled with
composition that shoots only one flaming ball out at one
end of the tube. It's named for Lance Armstrong, the
American bicyclist who had one baller mood when fighting tisticks.
You're a cancer, also known as the Tom Green Well.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
He is the biggest jerk in sports. So you're a jerk.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yes, Peyton. Sexual fireworks the formal name for fireworks. It
also doubles romantic aids. They were popular among the communes
of the nineteen sixties, and they're now banned in most
states by state and federal law. You're jerk, yes, Kyle.
Proximate fireworks the formal name for indoor fireworks. Indoor fireworks
(27:13):
are used for concerts and public events. Fireworks, Yes, Rich
The palm tree, an aerial effect that produces a gold
or silver stem as the shell rises into the sky. Firework, Yes, Peyton.
The evergreen tree, an aerial effect that produces a green
and brown effects similar to a Christmas tree.
Speaker 9 (27:32):
You're jerk, Yes, Kyle.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
The eight pound cracker one thousand dollars one thousand rolled
cracker inside a plastic keeps cake item.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
You're jerk.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
No, it's a firework. Pone rich peony and aerial effect
that looks like a spherical ball of colored lights in
the sky. Very common area effect for most firework shows.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeworks.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
Yes, it is Peyton pistill a ball of stars in
the center of another ball of stars. Fireworks, Yes, Kyle.
The Uncle Cracker. It's a one thousand rolled cracker inside
of plastic keepskate. It resembles the singer Uncle Cracker, your jer,
I am hi, I know where rich Catherine Wheels spitting
(28:12):
fireworks that create a wheel of sparks.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
It's a great band from the eighties. Also a firework.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
Named for a torture device. It's a firework. Peyton Mines
ground based fireworks that shoots stars or other effects into
the air. That is a firework, Yes, Kyle m eighties.
Speaker 7 (28:27):
Yeah, yeah, firework Peyton The I ten your jer.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Yeah, that was a stupid game. Game is kind of stupid,
but that was really stupid.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
It's Friday and John's got a game.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
For you, John Dane Rich. So Peyton's been married for
what two months now? Yeah, just about two months? And
this is breaking. I can't wait to hear she found
something out about Kadeem, her husband, that you didn't know
before you got married.
Speaker 7 (29:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (29:08):
I feel so betrayed, And to be completely honest, I
feel like our entire relationship and marriage has been based
on a lie.
Speaker 7 (29:15):
What I do I do?
Speaker 11 (29:17):
He gets on my nerves I discovered about him.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
This is so stupid.
Speaker 11 (29:24):
Okay, So you know KaDee and I we actually met
in college playing basketball. He played basketball his whole life.
I played basketball in my whole life. Both their dads
were our coaches growing up. That's where we that's where
we are, that's where we connect. Right.
Speaker 7 (29:37):
So, Kadem, he actually shoots.
Speaker 11 (29:40):
The basketball with his left hand, but he writes and
eats with his right hand. So he told me when
we first started dating that when he was like three
or four, when he really started to pick up a basketball,
that he broke his right arm so he had to
learn how to shoot with his left hand. I was like,
makes sense to me. You do everything else with your
right hand. You're just a life handed shooter. Pretty cool whatever.
(30:02):
Come to find out, apparently this mofo is ambidextrious.
Speaker 7 (30:06):
He's not just left handed.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
So did he not break his arm?
Speaker 7 (30:11):
Didn't break his army straight up? This lie? Why wouldn't
he just say amid.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
I would think the bigger thing is not about being ambidextraates,
so that he lies?
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (30:20):
Why he just got on him?
Speaker 11 (30:22):
But I was like why would you make that story
up and tell me that he was like I told
you that. I was like, yeah, so apparently this is
just something he tells random people. So apparently I was
just a random person at one point.
Speaker 7 (30:33):
And why you were? You were betrayed?
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Did he write both perfectly?
Speaker 10 (30:38):
No?
Speaker 11 (30:38):
He so he's he can write with his right hand,
but if like he were to flex or punch, he's punching.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
With his left makes sense.
Speaker 7 (30:45):
But if he was going to go kick somebody, he's
kicking with his right foot.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
You know what happened to Rich? Oh the story? Rich?
Speaker 1 (30:50):
I'm left handed, but I went to a Catholic school.
In all the desks for those little right handed desks,
and I couldn't reach over far enough to write. And
then one of my nuns said, well, the devil is
left handed. So I switched to my right hand.
Speaker 7 (31:04):
That is diabude.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
I even got. I asked my parents to put me
in a class where they would pull me out of
class and show me how to write with my right
hand on the chapel. But you see, like how crazy
do you see? How crazy neat my writing is? That's
because of all that, because I was afraid to wrect.
Speaker 7 (31:25):
Walk around with like the rulers back then did.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
But there when we used to have to do essays,
I could flip back and forth pretty regularly. I'd write
something with my right and then I'd switch to my left,
and you couldn't tell the difference.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
So Paynt found out that her husband is ambidextrious. That's
the big lie before she got married, Sarah, Sarah, what
did you find out about your significant other after you
got married?
Speaker 20 (31:46):
It was a couple of years after that. He showed
me a YouTube video of himself up against Joey Chestnut,
the world hot dog eating champion.
Speaker 7 (31:57):
No way, that's awesome.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
I'm assuming he did not win. He did not win,
but he's right next to him sucking down hot dogs
left right.
Speaker 20 (32:06):
Yeah, he signed up because he was a little bit
inebriated and he decided he wanted some free sausages.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
I get that. How did he how did he do?
What did he? Was he at least in the in
the competition?
Speaker 20 (32:18):
No?
Speaker 4 (32:19):
No, no, he's a guy next to the bad If
you would have known this before you got married, but
you've been like, WHOA hold on a minute, I don't
think so.
Speaker 20 (32:29):
I think it would have sealed the deal a lot quicker.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
Okay, all right, Sarah, thank you for calling in. Christina.
What did you find out about your significate other after
you got married?
Speaker 14 (32:41):
I found out literally during an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond.
This is after three years, and I said, could you
imagine if there's something that I was doing that you
repeatedly did not like? And that's when he told me
he actually doesn't like anything with lemons, referring to my
lemon chicken.
Speaker 4 (33:02):
Oh no, so you making lemon chicken? He would still
eat it.
Speaker 9 (33:06):
Oh.
Speaker 14 (33:06):
I was making it once a week and he was
eating it the whole thing. Never said anything. Oh he
said something. Yeah, he finally said something during an episode
of Everyone.
Speaker 7 (33:17):
Loved kind of cute.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Thank you, Christina, thanks for sharing that story. These are
really cute. I thought it was gonna go totally sop.
I found out that he was, you know, gay only
fan star.
Speaker 7 (33:28):
Jeez. That's how I felt.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Told me, I'm sure you are shook to the core.
Speaker 7 (33:35):
Why would you lie to me?
Speaker 4 (33:37):
Let's do more eight seven seven, nine three seven one
oh four seven. What did you find out about your
significant other after you got married? We'll talk to you next,
John Jay and Rich Why you.
Speaker 9 (33:48):
WOS playing.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
Stephanie Peyton told us that she learned something about her
husband after they got married. Don't have been married two months?
She learned that he's ambidextrious. What did you learn about
your significant other after you got married.
Speaker 18 (34:06):
My husband and I dated for nine years before we
got married, and three years after he and I got married,
I found out he had a brother.
Speaker 15 (34:14):
What well, no, I'll even batch up.
Speaker 18 (34:19):
Even before we got married, two weeks before we got married,
he came home. We had just moved in together, getting
ready for the wedding, and he came home one day,
two weeks before we got married, and he said, Hey,
my brother Tony wants to come over and meet you.
And I went, who's Tony my brother? Okay, Well, I
didn't think much about it. And then three years afterwards,
(34:40):
we have a joint profile on Facebook and I get
this sundryquest from somebody and I said, hey, do you
know who this person is?
Speaker 16 (34:47):
He goes, yes, that's my brother.
Speaker 18 (34:49):
Okay, wait a minute, are there any other siblings I
need to know about that time? No, that was the
last one.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
There's some dudes that if you don't ask him, you
just don't find out. It's not like they're trying to
keep it from you. They just don't share.
Speaker 18 (35:04):
I yes, that was a little.
Speaker 15 (35:07):
Bit of a surprise.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
Thank you, Stephanie, Thanks for listen, Thanks for calling in,
Thank you for listening. Yeah you got it eight seven
seven ninety seven four seven one. What did you find
out about your certificate? Other after he got married a
couple texts. Lisa says that he drank two beers every
night after he got home from work. I was worried
to it increased, and I told him I wouldn't be
married to an alcoholic. Forty years later, it's still just
(35:30):
two beers every night.
Speaker 21 (35:31):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
My mom found out after twenty years of marriage that
my dad had been married two times prior instead of one.
During my grandmother's funeral, both ex wives and my mom
were in attendance to pay respect. My dad's response was
he didn't have kids, so it didn't seem like it mattered.
It was just my practice marriage. He's like, you, I
got it right when we got married. Betty says, we
(35:55):
got married. When he met me, he told me his
name was NICKI. When he got married, I learned out
that his name was Miguel. Violet says, I got married.
I found out he folds the towels wrong. Charman. What'd
you find out about your your seat of another Sharman? Sharman,
(36:18):
Oh my.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
God, might have us muted?
Speaker 4 (36:22):
S Sharman. I'm gonna keep goggle a couple more of these, Charman,
Hopefully you can pick up. Let's see found out that
she was by? Oh interesting, Okay, well hold on, Sharman,
we'll come back to you. Gloria.
Speaker 14 (36:38):
Hello, I found out that he was by, and I had,
like I kind of knew.
Speaker 17 (36:45):
But once they got married, he came clean.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
Why not share that before? You think that would be
something you need to know?
Speaker 7 (36:54):
But is that why I did share that?
Speaker 8 (36:56):
Because he wanted to bring someone else in? Like, what
was the point of sharing it? It's like at that point,
you guys.
Speaker 14 (37:04):
I think I think it was.
Speaker 17 (37:05):
Well, it was during COVID and you know a lot
of people were going through.
Speaker 19 (37:11):
Loneliness, that kind of thing.
Speaker 14 (37:13):
So I think that, Lad, I'm pumpling to me.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Yeah, you're you're quarantine, went on flo around, what best
things out?
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Let's see let's see how you are.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Are you still with them, Gloria, Yes.
Speaker 22 (37:27):
I am.
Speaker 17 (37:28):
We've been married for nine years now.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Well, thanks for calling in.
Speaker 12 (37:33):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Just chicken with Sherman Charmany there, Charman, not Sherman Charman anyway,
it's just Charmaine. Maybe Charlemagne. It's Charlemagne and the Breakfast.
I'll put it back on hold. One Etarity, lay down, Okay, listen.
I'm hesitant to do this, you guys, okay, so bear
(37:55):
with me, but let's just try it. Charman, good morning.
Speaker 15 (38:01):
Good morning. Well you guys are gonna probably be blown
(38:22):
away by this. But after I got married, I found
out that my husband is a gang member.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
Oh like gang member, like street gang, or like cartel,
or like mafia, like.
Speaker 15 (38:34):
A Latin king.
Speaker 13 (38:37):
Gang member.
Speaker 7 (38:38):
And I hesitate to ask how you found out? How
do you stumble up eight heads in a bag? Yeah,
you know exactly.
Speaker 10 (38:48):
No.
Speaker 15 (38:49):
He he got a phone call and he was very
hush hush about it. So I kept questioning and questioning him,
and he ended up telling me, and I'm like, oh
my god, why didn't you tell me this before we
got married, because I didn't think you would marry me?
And I was like, you know, I don't I don't
judge people, but I wish he would have told me
(39:10):
that that's what he was not that. I mean, I
know I'm protected, I'm not worried about that, but just
knowing and him keeping something so big from me was
like way out there.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
So is the call him when he gets a call,
is it he's getting, you know, assigned a task or
something from the gang?
Speaker 15 (39:32):
Yes, and no he'sh God, I don't know if I
should say that on the air, but yeah, he's getting
a call for for him to go do things.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
But is he a hit man?
Speaker 15 (39:46):
Since I don't, I really, I don't want.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
To see high. So you're so you're still married. You're
still married to him?
Speaker 15 (40:00):
Oh, definitely.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
But he lives in the United States. He lives in
the United States, but works for a Mexican cartel.
Speaker 15 (40:07):
Well he's Puerto Rican, Puerto Rican cartel, Mexican a cartel,
he's not a cartel. Things get done and things get said,
so you know, and it's never it's it's never about
anything that has to do with a family or anything
like that. It's just you know, you just you don't.
You can't cross him. And he's not a bad guy.
(40:29):
You've got the biggest heart in the world that I've
ever met. Like he's he's my everything. But just I
wish he would have said something, you know, so I
would have been prepared because the phone call I wasn't.
I wasn't prepared for.
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Hey, what happened In the beginning of this whole I
tried to pick you up twice and it didn't work,
and I'm doing something that I hate doing.
Speaker 7 (40:47):
So I was trying to stop her from saying that.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
No, no, no, I was gonna say because my wife,
she's one of these people were like her and I
are talking and there's a disconnection on the phone when
she calls back, the whole conversation about what happened? What happened?
I'm driving through a tunnel? What why did we get disconnected?
It must be you. It must not be you. Mean,
I'm like, it doesn't matter, which is what we would
we talk about. But I don't understand my phone must
be acting weird. And that's the whole conversation. And then
(41:10):
I go, Okay, I gotta go buy. So I was like,
I want to know what happened. To try. We tried
to pick up twice, Try to pick up twice. Can't
pigre up what happened? And I don't. And it's funny
because I'm doing what. I despise what happened. We tried
to pick up.
Speaker 6 (41:20):
Twice that I appreciate you doing.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
That because just let your husband I was nice to you.
Speaker 15 (41:29):
Is he's very nice to me. I don't think that's
what he said.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
Thank you for calling it and took you for a
good guy. You called that. Thank you? Right. So you
got fourth of July weekend coming up, and there's a
lot going on, right, People are traveling, people are barbecuing, right,
And I have two things that fall into that category.
(41:58):
For one, seven things you should never grill. Okay, seven
things you should And I think this is gonna cause controversy. Really,
do you know what? Number one on that list is?
Hamburgers howlse?
Speaker 7 (42:12):
Are you supposed to make up?
Speaker 4 (42:14):
It says? The argument is that fat trips down the outside,
doesn't get caramelized. You lose all the flavor you're supposed
to use, like a flat piece of cast iron you
put on top of the grill. So fourth of July
it's all about freedom, though, So you do what you want. Yeah,
So filet mignot not supposed to grill a filet migna.
It doesn't have enough fat on the grill, and they're
usually pretty thick, so it's hard to cook them the
(42:34):
way you want when you're using a flame.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Cast iron skillet. Butter it's the way to go with.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
That, right. The same thing pizza, most girls don't cook
very evenly. It's hard to get the toppings to cook right,
so you got to use a liminum foil or a
pizza stove anyway.
Speaker 11 (42:49):
That's I feel like people are only doing that with
their like black stones nowadays, but those aren't open flames,
so it makes it different.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Things. Never to barbecue fish, including salmon, tends to do
better when you cook it on low heat. Pork chops
all that you lose out the delicious fat shish kebobs,
which by the way, is really weird looking at the
words shish kebobs, shish spell shish.
Speaker 8 (43:09):
I was inheah, it looks weird.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
Shish kebobs. They're actually okay on the grill, but not
the way most people do. And vegetables sent to cook
faster than meat, so don't put everything on the same skewer.
Put meat on one and veggies on the other, and
then melty cheeses. Don't put cheeses on there. I was
saving this for last. But this is all according to
chat chip Tea.
Speaker 7 (43:33):
It's like, what is chatting about grilling?
Speaker 4 (43:35):
Do you want to hear something weird about chatchp tea.
I was asking some advice about parenting. This is really
really weird. So I'm going back and forth to Chatchy
to me about some some advice. Like I was trying
to be one of my kids. I was there was
an issue with one of my kids, so I wanted
to I don't know if this makes sense. I'm about
to say. I wanted to be the dad that he
needed for the situation he was in and I was struggling,
(43:58):
So I was asking chat Chipy t something and chat tip.
He said to me, from one dad to another, from
one dad to another, I gotta tell you this. And
I was like, he's got a little baby.
Speaker 9 (44:07):
Chat.
Speaker 21 (44:11):
I thought that was so such a weird football.
Speaker 7 (44:15):
Sorry congratulations becoming a father?
Speaker 4 (44:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (44:18):
Is that weird's version of he was like listening.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
He was like, from one dad to another, like, trust me,
this is the right move. This what I think. I
was like, No, you got kids, dude, man, I go,
why wouldn't you have kids? You already got Maybe you're
hooking up with Kyle Sha anyway, I was talking to you.
There's also a travel stuff. People are barbecued and traveling,
and I guess TSA has put out a thing of
(44:43):
things not to put in a little thing that goes
through the airport.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
The conveyor belt, the security check.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Yeah, things never to put in there, like wallace and cash.
Take all your cash and put it in your wallet,
and then put your wallet inside of a bag. I
first time ever saw anyone do that was rich. He
takes all stuff and puts in his bag, and it
was like, what are you doing? Just throwing the little
round thing.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
No, no, because I don't want to get stopped by anybody.
I throw it my backpack, zip it all up. If
you lose cash, they won't return it. Why would they
don't put your passport or ID in there, same with
your walt put it in the bag.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Your phone to s aln. So the number one place
for stolen smartphones kind of makes.
Speaker 8 (45:20):
Sense because you know, sometimes you need more than one bin.
And let's say your phone is just sitting out and
in the other bind but they take your first bin,
like maybe you left the water bottle on your backpack.
Speaker 7 (45:30):
You kind of have to go over there easy to swipe.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
Watches and jewelry. Don't put those in the thing loose
lynthium batteries or power banks because they are a fire. Risks, headphones,
classes neck pillows now because you might lose them because
the bins are loaded with germs. Oh and those germs
are about to touch your face. Yeah, So be careful
this fourth of July when you're grilling and when you're traveling,
(45:53):
and know that your chat GPT has kids. All right,
John Day and Rich you can text the show. You
text jj R and whatever your message is to nine
six eight nine three. I was in our iHeart Radio kitchen,
(46:18):
the red Red Red kitchen, making some coffee paint. Came
walking in like she spray painted her jeans on and
she was like, there's a skinny jeans. James is supposed
to be bagging sometimes that's what happened.
Speaker 11 (46:31):
That's not okay, that's not exactly what happened. Joor Ja
was like, are those skinny jeans? And I said yes,
and I hate them and I and skinny jeans are out.
They're officially out. Kyle has been telling us for the
last couple of weeks. That skinny jeans are making their
way out of style, and the last couple of times
I wear them, I'm like, you're so right, they are
out of style and I look like a square right now.
Speaker 7 (46:52):
I feel like I really loved the skinny jeans.
Speaker 8 (46:55):
I really fought them when they first came like back
in or whatever.
Speaker 7 (46:59):
But then I was kind of sad to see them
go and like to have.
Speaker 8 (47:02):
To revamp your wardrobe in that way, like redo all
your pants.
Speaker 7 (47:07):
It's a slow build.
Speaker 15 (47:08):
Yeah, you have to.
Speaker 8 (47:09):
You're just gonna have to wear the skinny jeans every
once in a while, so you have all new pants.
Speaker 4 (47:13):
Can you define skinny jeans because I'm gonna I saw
the jeans painting had on it. Do you have skinny
jeans on cole now? Okay, so what we define skinny jeans?
Speaker 11 (47:20):
Skinny jeans are jeans that basically fit from like your
waist all the way down to your ankles. They're form fitting,
they're tight like yoga pants. Yeah, but they're jeans.
Speaker 4 (47:29):
Okay, what do you have on?
Speaker 7 (47:31):
I have flared jeans on right now.
Speaker 4 (47:33):
And those are super cool.
Speaker 8 (47:35):
They're like kind of on their own little island of fashion.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
This makes sense.
Speaker 7 (47:41):
They flare out the most.
Speaker 8 (47:43):
I think if I had to guess what the most
quote unquote popular gene type right now, it's like the
boyfriend jeans. So it's like kind of baggy and actually
low rise jeans are coming back into which is like
I'm kind of fighting that, do you know.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
Like at my house right now, my wife Stacy, who's
like the you know, the fashion person at the house,
she has four stacks of jeans on a bench at
the end of the bed because all of the skinny
jeans are going in the donate pile, and there are
lots of them.
Speaker 7 (48:07):
They're out, skinny, they're out.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
So there's some that like now there's new ones that
are the right style that we haven't tried, but we
don't know if we're going to return yet, and so
those are on the right side.
Speaker 7 (48:16):
The straight leg ones. That's where it's sad.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
Yeah, it doesn't do that for guys to do Guys
go through jean phase because I feel like there's a
certain kind of jean I like, and those are the
only ones I wear, Like I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
I don't think it is really.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
Is it's as drastic, I don't, but I do know
that every pair of jeans I have eventually is a
low rise jean, but you can you.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Can wear like cargo pants again, I think if you're
a guy, yeah.
Speaker 7 (48:37):
Cargo pants are really in, really in right now.
Speaker 11 (48:40):
But yeah, I just type honestly, I just feel like
my body dysmorphia just comes out with the with the
skinny jeans right now, because I think I told you
guys this before. But in high school, one of my
nicknames was drumsticks because my thighs were so big and
my legs bottom part of my legs were so skinny.
I know, but you can really tell in the skinny jeans.
And I got drunks yoga pants, I do, but yoga
(49:00):
pants are different.
Speaker 8 (49:01):
See, I actually liked I liked the fact that skinny
jeans were more form fitting because I wore a little
bit baggier jean in our Christmas pictures this year.
Speaker 7 (49:11):
And there are two pictures that I feel like I
will never.
Speaker 8 (49:13):
Show anybody because my legs look way bigger than Scott's because.
Speaker 7 (49:19):
Of the gene.
Speaker 8 (49:20):
Like I know, I know my legs are smaller than his.
I know that, but just like mentally looking at the picture,
I'm like, oh, hell, this is not Okay, this does
not make me feel okay.
Speaker 11 (49:30):
The struggle of being a woman and trying to look
presentable in public.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Right, So we've been kind of like catching up on
our shopping birthdays or whatever. But I know Peyton did.
The big purchase she made was up.
Speaker 11 (49:41):
I made the biggest purchase that I have ever made
on my credit card, to the point where, like I
have a stomach ache about it. What because I wanted
to go all out. It's kind of an experience. I
don't want to say it because I don't want to
ruin it. My mom and my sister listen to the show,
but I'm really excited. It's about the experience. But my
stomach hurts that I have this massive payment on my
(50:03):
credit card because growing up, my grandma was like she
was the type she worked three jobs, like total workhorse,
like single mom, and she always told me, you pay
your credit card bill off no matter what she said.
If you're she was like, I'd rather you pay your
credit card off first before you pay your rent. Like
that's how every month you have to make sure your
credit card payment is paid off.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
It's so important.
Speaker 11 (50:24):
And so she kind of instilled that in me, and
so now I'm like, I have an eighteen hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
Charge on my credit.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
House car experience.
Speaker 8 (50:35):
That you are so generous, like the fact that you
just want to like create this great experience for your
mom and your sister.
Speaker 7 (50:42):
That's so you, it's so sweet.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Do you think we could get grandma to help you
pay that off?
Speaker 7 (50:46):
Because that's where it's gonna got it.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
I feel like pay for it.
Speaker 7 (50:50):
I'm going to.
Speaker 11 (50:50):
Call my grandma and I'm gonna say, can I please
take a little shut.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
On this bill?
Speaker 17 (50:54):
Here?
Speaker 1 (50:55):
This interesting?
Speaker 7 (50:55):
And she would totally help me.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
It's an experience for me. You're doing it selflessly.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
My doctor said to me the other day I was
leaving there, they go, hey, just want to let you
know that you're going to get a five thousand dollars
charge on your credit but ignored it's a mistake. And
I was like, oh, how do I explain that? Like
what are you talking about? To just ignore? Just ignore it?
And it never came. It never game, And I was like,
I was like, I would really have to worry about
(51:21):
because I don't think it's gonna go through. Yeah, because
I used to before I was married, and I was
always trying to get good credit. So I would try
to get as many credit cards as I can, which
was stupid. Yeah, and then I would just buy stuff
and it just seemed free. Then you get that little
red envelope, a little or that pink thing in the
mail and all all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
Man Peyton, have we talked on the show about the
time that I went to go buy a Prince C
and they literally took and destroyed my credit card. I
guess you know, they have the little thing that you
have to declined and mindset, take card and destroy and
they cut it up in front of me. That's terrible, terrible.
Speaker 4 (51:59):
I should do that. They think it's stolen.
Speaker 7 (52:02):
What did the name? What was the name on your car?
Speaker 1 (52:04):
It was my name, It was my card I was
trying to buy Richard.
Speaker 11 (52:07):
You guys have a sneaky side test that you're not telling. No, truly,
I guess a credit card scamming. I thought that I
paid my bills. Apparently I did not pay that Baron.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
Yeah, he's like a jackle. He has different ideas, different passports.
Speaker 8 (52:20):
Just the feeling of like getting your card declined though,
it's like so embarrassing and get.
Speaker 7 (52:24):
All hot and like I'm like being being in line, Yeah,
and having them tear it up in front of you.
Speaker 4 (52:29):
I imagine nowadays though, because I've had my car my
card decline nowadays, and it's it's a great it's a
great response, just like, oh it must be the chip
chip's not working. You don't have to be a loser.
Speaker 7 (52:41):
I had it happened to me just the other day.
Speaker 8 (52:43):
It is my card was declined and then I was
using my debit card and I was like, I know
I have enough to pay for this fifteen dollars Walgreen strip.
And then I looked down and my card's expired, so
it got declimbed because my card was expired.
Speaker 7 (52:57):
But I'm like, how come the nurse sent me a
new one? Send you a new like you it's an advance.
Get an email.
Speaker 4 (53:02):
I would think it's John Jay Rich Jessica, good morning, Hi.
Speaker 22 (53:16):
Good morning, good morning. I had a general question. So
I listened to one of the episodes on the highly
successful John Jay Vana's podcast, You had You had a
girl on there that was talking about ADHD and you
(53:37):
guys had like a whole thing about it, And I
was just wondering because I know you guys discussed it
a lot. But I've noticed because I have ADHD really bad,
so I've noticed that you're really good at like balancing out.
Like when I listened to your show, you're really good
on like one not an erupting or like staying on
(54:02):
track or if somebody tells the story there, you're just
you know how to like circle back really well. Like
is there anything in particular that you do that like
helps you do that? Because I cannot do that.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Well. I think you said it best when you said,
John Jay, you're really good. And I think that's that's enough.
That's enough enough. No, you know, in all honesty, I mean,
I mean I was kind of diagnosed by a psychiatrists
i have ADHD, but he was a little weird. So
I don't know if I have ADHD. You do, I
don't know if I do.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
For sure you do.
Speaker 22 (54:37):
Yeah, I can tell you that you do. I know you,
I know you.
Speaker 20 (54:41):
I know yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:42):
Well, I answer that question you're talking about on the
radio that I can bring you back and follow. And
by the way, when I do interrupt a lot, and
sometimes I try to apologize when I interrupt, but a
lot of times when I'm interrupting a person on the phone,
it's because their story is taken too long. And if
I interrupt one of these three here, it's because we
got to take a break most of the time I tried.
That's kind of like my rule.
Speaker 22 (55:00):
I know, but you're so good, like, for example, like
let's say it's like second date up day and the
girl is or guy or girl is telling the story.
You're really good at like remembering like key facts about
the story, but like not getting off tracks. And I
cannot do that, And I notice that you're really good
at doing that.
Speaker 4 (55:21):
Well. I did take a test, you guys remember this
test where they said I was borderline genius. Do you
remember that?
Speaker 7 (55:28):
We do remember that.
Speaker 8 (55:29):
I lastly think it's because he's genuinely interested in what
he's like talking about. I think like when you're genuinely interested,
it's easier to focus. And when you're like trying to
focus on maybe like a class you're not interested in,
or a conversation that's kind of going somewhere where you
may not have interest or expertise.
Speaker 1 (55:46):
John J has attention for things are going on on
this show outside of the show. Right, rampant adhd Right,
I actually do sometimes sometimes I catch myself on the
phone or on the computer when we're on the air,
and I try to put that down and try not
to do that, so I know, sometimes I'm not listening
to the story and then these three catch me up
and I'm like, what, all right?
Speaker 4 (56:04):
But you're so nice, Jessica, thanks for listening. That's so nice.
How do you know you have ADHD who told you that?
Speaker 22 (56:10):
Well, for one, I was diagnosed. But it's also like
very obvious everybody around me like knows I do. I
just I bounced around from subject to subject. I can't
stay on track. I have a hard time like not
interrupting because like when I have a thought that runs
through my mind, I instantly just have to say it.
(56:30):
And I'm not seeing rude. It's just I just have
this like urgency, like okay, I have to say it
otherwise I'm going to forget.
Speaker 20 (56:39):
And because my rage.
Speaker 22 (56:43):
Here there, I tend to.
Speaker 17 (56:44):
Forget a lot of stuff.
Speaker 22 (56:46):
But it's extremely obvious when you know me on a personal.
Speaker 4 (56:50):
Level, Yeah, totally get you. So you stayed on one
subject full time here today? One subject? Do you have
piles all of your house? Do you keep cabinet doors open?
Yours open? I don't use a spoon. You don't have ADHD.
I've undiagnosed you.
Speaker 12 (57:09):
You do not have.
Speaker 4 (57:12):
Yeah, I have undiagnosed you. All right, Jessica, I have
a wonderful day. Thank you so much for listening. Thanks
to the compliment. Thanks for watching that podcast. That's so awesome.
I literally have never met anyone who's watched the podcast.
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (57:25):
If she really had ADHD, she'd be like, John, J,
I have a question about your ADHD.
Speaker 21 (57:30):
Hey, does anybody drive a masta? That's how I would
have gone something like that. Like that podcast, So I'll
interview somebody for like an hour. And one of the
things that I try to do with this podcast is
I don't take any notes. I just try to remember
and I don't take any notes writ anything down. So
a lot of times I forget stuff. But I'm so
glad you watched it.
Speaker 4 (57:46):
That's so quote. What's on YouTube? John Evan asked, podcast
that's great. That's so awesome, and my day Jasic go.
Thanks for listening. Sensation Our phone numbers eight seven seven
(58:06):
nine three seven one oh four seven. The text line
you just text jj R whatever you want to say
to nine six eight ninety three. I enjoyed getting into
moments when Kyle loses it. I believe you've never seen
I don't think you've ever seen.
Speaker 7 (58:21):
I've seen Kyle pop off probably one time.
Speaker 11 (58:24):
I think I've seen it one time, but I don't
think it was ever to the level that you guys
have experienced. You guys have told me about that, but
I have seen Kyle not very happy.
Speaker 4 (58:34):
It is very true.
Speaker 7 (58:36):
It was very true. I can't remember exactly, I know
exactly what it was. I don't need to bring it
up again. I don't need to bring it up. But
I started another argument was not happening.
Speaker 4 (58:45):
Okay, Well, whatever you saw it was a level five, Okay,
on a one to ten, I.
Speaker 8 (58:50):
Will say I reached it was about a level six
or seven.
Speaker 7 (58:55):
Oh that's happening.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (58:56):
I did lose it though, because so my kids, it's summer.
It were like two weeks in and I said to myself,
I'm gonna give them.
Speaker 7 (59:03):
A week or two to just like totally do nothing right.
Speaker 8 (59:07):
We're not gonna I'm not gonna force them because I
like to do like reading challenges in the summer just
to keep their brain sort of active.
Speaker 7 (59:12):
But I also like, I think it's summertime.
Speaker 8 (59:14):
They need some time to sort of like unwind, right,
And then I asked them to pick up their things
in the living room because it looked like a tornado
had gone like through there. And I'm like, okay, I
just need you guys to pick up you know, just
your stuff, Like you've got shoes over there, you've got
toys out, You've got all the things. Just pick up
your stuff. And they're like what. I was like, just
(59:34):
help clean up? Why are we cleaning up?
Speaker 7 (59:37):
And I was like, just do it.
Speaker 8 (59:39):
They start picking up their toys and they have like
such a BA. A BA in our house.
Speaker 7 (59:43):
Is a bad attitude.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
Okay, if you have a BA.
Speaker 7 (59:46):
You do not get rewards, you do not get to
do fun.
Speaker 13 (59:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (59:50):
I was like I'm kind of sensing a little bit
of a BA here, and they're like yeah, it's like
it's the summertime. And I was like, I'm asking you
to clean up.
Speaker 7 (59:59):
Your mess right now.
Speaker 8 (01:00:02):
And then my eleven year old daughter decides to picture this.
Speaker 7 (01:00:07):
They're cleaning up with a very bad attitude.
Speaker 8 (01:00:09):
I'm in the kitchen making dinner and she goes, well,
why aren't you cleaning?
Speaker 7 (01:00:13):
And I was like, okay, if if it.
Speaker 8 (01:00:17):
Were a cartoon, you would see steam literally coming out
of my head, my head exploding. I was like, are
you kidding me? I'm seeing your making your dinner. I
cleaned the entire house two days ago, and now your
mess is the one that's making it look like a
total trash hold.
Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
I think you is like, like, was it worse than that?
Like you and all like you like you're smiling, but
you were you were doing that thing where you don't talk.
Speaker 8 (01:00:43):
Both of their faces like completely like went blankly. They
sort of hunched over, and then they just like picked
up their things, and then both of them went back
to their room and shut the doors, and it was
just quiet for a while.
Speaker 7 (01:00:54):
And I was like, yeah, be quiet for a while.
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
Could we get out of it on the phone to get
her version of it?
Speaker 7 (01:01:01):
Yeah, we actually could.
Speaker 8 (01:01:03):
But it was very I will tell you it was
so sweet because I think afterwards she she is such
like she has such a big heart. Afterwards, Scott and
I were sitting out when they were little clothes and
we see this paper airplane come out into the kitchen
and it has a sticky note on it and it
says please open and read inside and inside she wrote
(01:01:25):
me the sweetest note.
Speaker 7 (01:01:26):
She goes, Mom, I'm sorry I snapped at you.
Speaker 13 (01:01:31):
Man.
Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
You guys are about to have some show down.
Speaker 8 (01:01:33):
I am like I have seen hints of like the
quote unquote teenage years because we can try.
Speaker 11 (01:01:41):
To call her phone first, but she does have all
the personalities, so you know, and she's so she is
quick with it and we're gonna battle.
Speaker 7 (01:01:48):
Yeah, I can't wait. I just know it. But but
the positive.
Speaker 8 (01:01:50):
Thing is like the thing that gives me a little
bit of peace about it is like we've had many battles,
but we are we're really good at talking them through
and like coming out the other end more positive with
like love, you know.
Speaker 7 (01:02:01):
Wi's love.
Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
I Hey, Addie, you're on the radio us is that okay?
Speaker 8 (01:02:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
Hey? Your mom was telling us the story and we
wanted to hear your version. Okay. It was the other
day when she when she got mad at you and
you snapped what happened?
Speaker 23 (01:02:23):
Oh yeah, what tell us?
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
How did you feel? Did it scare? You? Just walk
us through what happened and how do you feel?
Speaker 23 (01:02:36):
It was kind of like I was like why did
I say that? And then and then I was like
oh uh oh.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
And then when your mom got mad, did you get scared? Yes, yeah,
I've seen your mom mad before. I get scared. I
get scared.
Speaker 23 (01:02:55):
We went in to go get ready for bed, and
she told us about uh that we had to do
chores like daily chores now, and we were like complaining
about it and yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:03:11):
Yes, because I was like, Okay, that's it, the cake
walk is over, is done. I said, you guys are
gonna have daily chores and before you do anything fun,
you must complete all the chores in your choor lists.
Speaker 11 (01:03:23):
No, honestly, I think that's so real though, and Adai,
you're not gonna love to hear this, but I was
very much the same way my mom date everything for us.
We didn't pick up, we didn't do our laundry, we
didn't cook, we didn't clean, we didn't do anything but
go to like practice and be kids. And now as
an adult with a husband, I seriously lack at skills
(01:03:44):
around the house truly, like I'm a little messy. I
also will let the laundry pile up. And I wish,
I wish that.
Speaker 7 (01:03:50):
My mom would have been like, yeah, Nana clean your room.
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
So what are your chores, addie? What are the chores.
That are you doing them?
Speaker 23 (01:03:57):
I'm so today we have to clean the toilets and
wipe down the counters.
Speaker 16 (01:04:04):
Yeah, absolutely, smoke yeah, wow snap, you in prison, work together?
Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
Addie? Do you have to clean? Like, do you have
your toilet? You have to clean everybody's toilet, all of them,
all the toilets.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
Sorry for her. The cleaning lady was just here.
Speaker 11 (01:04:35):
Wait, Kyle, do you make like, do you guys have
to clean up before the cleaning lady comes?
Speaker 12 (01:04:39):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Yeah, my mom too. He's like, I don't get it.
Speaker 9 (01:04:42):
Why do we have to clean up?
Speaker 11 (01:04:43):
And I said, because her job is it to pick
up after us? Her job is too deep clean.
Speaker 8 (01:04:48):
Yeah, she's being nice enough to come and make sure
that our floors and the bathrooms are cleaned.
Speaker 7 (01:04:53):
She doesn't have to pick up your track.
Speaker 4 (01:04:56):
Hey, Addie, when you're done there, do you think maybe
you can come to my house?
Speaker 5 (01:05:00):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
He's the best's chores. All right, Well, have a great day, Addie, Thanks.
Speaker 23 (01:05:09):
You too, love you, love you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:13):
That's hilarious. Good job, good job.
Speaker 5 (01:05:16):
Cow.
Speaker 4 (01:05:17):
I felt for her because you know, we've seen if
Kyle yelled at us the way she's yelled at us before,
and then told us to clean the toilet. We go
clean the toilet, want to.
Speaker 7 (01:05:28):
Talk or throw some shape?
Speaker 11 (01:05:30):
Oh called John Jay and Rich seven seven nine seven
four seven.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
We all got to get into travel hacks because Kyle
is stressing out.
Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
I feel like.
Speaker 8 (01:05:39):
It's summer break and I want to do fun adventures
with kids. And I have all these great ideas because
you know, I'm on Instagram and my algorithm just serves
me up different vacation ideas and I'm like, yeah, that
looks amazing, let's do that. And then I actually look
into it and it's like thousands and thousands of dollars
and I'm like, well, can't do that.
Speaker 7 (01:05:56):
So I'm like, why is everything so expensive? In Southwest?
Just had this.
Speaker 8 (01:06:01):
Sale and I got an email that they're doing a
sale on tickets to Hawaii, and I'm.
Speaker 7 (01:06:05):
Like, amazing.
Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
I got to say, email, I'll hop on that I
get this from Southwest a lot. When you do when
they do do it, it's like you've got to do
it at a time where no one ever wants to go.
Speaker 8 (01:06:14):
Yeah, and that's fine in the summertime, right, maybe if
you can swing it. But it doesn't work, it's I'm like,
oh my gosh, So I saw something on Instagram that
if you change and this like I need an IT
person to help me with it. But if you change
the country of origin that you're quote unquote searching from,
that you can get super cheap airline tickets.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
I've heard that, like if.
Speaker 8 (01:06:37):
You're not quote unquote searching for these tickets in the
quote unquote United States, apparently the airlines don't give you
as much search pricing or something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Yeah, I've heard that, but I don't.
Speaker 8 (01:06:48):
Know how to I don't know how to go in
and change that I'm not searching from the United States and.
Speaker 7 (01:06:52):
If you're IPN right or whatever something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Yeah, so if you use that a VPN or VPN
you know what that is where.
Speaker 7 (01:06:59):
I've heard of that, but I don't understand.
Speaker 11 (01:07:01):
How it changes that because like there's a lot of
times like if you're in a different country and you're
trying to watch Netflix. Netflix doesn't have certain shows in
certain countries, so people change their VPN so they can
watch their show.
Speaker 7 (01:07:12):
But how does one change their fall You get the app?
Speaker 4 (01:07:16):
So I got this app an app, so I had
to go to a doctor. I've never told this on there.
I had to go to this doctor in another city
and they wanted me to be there in the city
and it was it was it was telement, but I
had to be in the city. And so my doctor said,
get a VPN. So they explained, I got the VPN.
(01:07:36):
It costs seventy nine dollars for a year of this VPN,
and so I did. And then I had to answer
a bunch of questions and they had to say, are
you in Los Angeles? And I was not in last
but I said, I said, yes, I am. And the
first it's because of insurance that you need to be
in the same city. It's some weird thing, right, but anyway,
I VPN, right, and and you pick the city that
(01:07:57):
you can be in on the VPN and were it
is turned out to be a plus. And we haven't
really got into this a lot. Is that the governor
of Arizona has made pornography illegal unless you have a Vpnay, yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:08:15):
There's a will, there's a way.
Speaker 4 (01:08:16):
Yeah. So I'm assuming that if you turn on the
VPN then and then you get on a travel Southwest
dot com so then France or something is that you
So if you say you're in France and you're trying
to buy tickets on Southwest dot com. When you do
book the tickets, it's gonna be like, why are you
in Phoenix?
Speaker 8 (01:08:32):
No, supposedly doesn't matter your origin. It just matters what
they see you logging in from.
Speaker 7 (01:08:38):
Apparently.
Speaker 8 (01:08:41):
I've also heard that if you go to like a
public library and use one of those computers, supposedly the
price they are cheaper anyways, And that's so frustrating.
Speaker 7 (01:08:49):
Just let me order the tickets for my.
Speaker 4 (01:08:51):
Phone for the cheap prect You can't look at poor
into the public library.
Speaker 7 (01:08:54):
I'm not doing that anyway.
Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
The other thing you could do on your computer is
you could just switch browsers to if you've been looking
on like Suffar.
Speaker 7 (01:09:00):
Just tried that too, I've tried duck Doto, I've tried Chrome.
Speaker 4 (01:09:05):
Eric's got a travel hacking? I think, Eric, what's up?
You got a travel hack?
Speaker 17 (01:09:09):
Yeah, so when you try to go to the bathroom
at the airport.
Speaker 6 (01:09:12):
It's always like it's not an optimal experience.
Speaker 4 (01:09:15):
Yeah, I can go with that. Go ahead, go at
the hotel.
Speaker 17 (01:09:20):
You go at the hotel, there might be free coffee
or something like that, but it's it's always a better experience.
Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
You always got to go in the hotel before you
get to the airport.
Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
That might be the stupidest travel hack. I never heard
what happened to the airport at the gate you gotta
go like you gotta go.
Speaker 13 (01:09:37):
Well, well you gotten rid of it, but you got no.
Speaker 7 (01:09:42):
Eric, I will tell you this kind of travel hack.
Speaker 4 (01:09:46):
When I was travel last time I was in Los Angeles,
I was I. We had my wife and I had
to go to the bathroom and both bathrooms were like construction.
It was a line, and I hate and the plane's boarding,
so I got I was the last one on the plane.
My wife and I go, excuse, I go, there's a
construct we are you know, there's a huge line. I go,
is there? Can I go to the bathroom on the
plane before we take off? And they said yeah. I
(01:10:08):
thought that was really cool because I thought you couldn't
do that. So they did let us go to the
bathroom before we got on the plane. Like we got
in and went to the bathroom and then we sat down.
So Eric, anyway, I'm sorry, Eric, do we say call
in for dumb travel hats?
Speaker 7 (01:10:21):
Nice? We do appreciate you calling Eric.
Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
Idea before you get in your flight. If it's an overnight,
you know, stay the night in town, a couple of
days and then you.
Speaker 7 (01:10:30):
Know, I'm sorry, Eric, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
You discourage.
Speaker 4 (01:10:36):
There's a travel act instead of you want to say,
somebody drive. We ever heard Peyton's courtesy laugh.
Speaker 7 (01:10:47):
It's not a crazy laugh, it's a true laugh. It's
just a different version of a laugh. It's like you
know when you text lo l You're like you're inside laughing.
Speaker 1 (01:10:55):
Rebranded her laugh.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
I have Payton's laugh on my MI you do. I'm
trying to remember this Payton's real Eric. Tell me what
you think of Peyton's real laugh. Let's see. I think
it's your real life.
Speaker 5 (01:11:07):
That Eric. I hear.
Speaker 4 (01:11:11):
If you laugh once a day, it's really good for you. Eric.
Let's hear your fake laugh. Eric, what do you got?
Speaker 5 (01:11:19):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:11:19):
Eric, have a great day, man, Thanks for listening, and seriously,
thanks for calling in and sharing your hack with us.
Speaker 5 (01:11:24):
Have a great course.
Speaker 4 (01:11:25):
All right, here's the heck. If you don't want to
dial a number again, hit readal eight seven seven nine
four seven. What's your travel hack?
Speaker 9 (01:11:39):
Can you come for John Jay and Rich? But do
you stay for Kyl and Page?
Speaker 7 (01:11:42):
John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
Eric's calling about videos that went viral? Am I right, Eric?
Speaker 13 (01:11:47):
Yeah, my E and my mom were actually you were
all playing you no Bye.
Speaker 5 (01:11:55):
It got a.
Speaker 13 (01:11:55):
Really weird and funny in a way, the way that
we're playing. So I posted a video on TikTok and
then Instagram and then Facebook, and it pretty much went
viral on the three platforms. It got like seven to
eight million views. The thing is is that after we
broke up, he started to tell people that people only
(01:12:20):
watched me because of him, which is not true because
I already have like seven thousand followers before I even
met him, so it.
Speaker 5 (01:12:29):
Was it wasn't even true. So I had to I was.
Speaker 13 (01:12:34):
Getting money from it here and there, but eventually had
to remove it because I'm like, I'm not We're not
even together anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
So you're just played Uno and that went viral. That's
the content.
Speaker 13 (01:12:46):
Yeah, So pretty much he was playing Uno, but he
was playing thirty with you know, against my mom, like
you know, putating like plast four and you know kind
of like the whole reaction made people kind of like
relate to it, like, oh, you don't do that.
Speaker 7 (01:13:00):
To you, So I get it.
Speaker 4 (01:13:02):
Yeah, you don't cheat.
Speaker 5 (01:13:03):
Yeah, you're probably just making a lot of comments like, oh,
it's relatable. I guess so it became viral, and I
didn't get a lot of money from it. I'm not
gonna lie. So he's listening to this like, yeah, I
got money to do it, all right.
Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
Eric, thanks for calling it, Thanks for listening. Mental note
to go viral. So who's hosting the Teddy Swims game? Oh? Nick? Okay, Hey,
