Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Today is national what?

Speaker 3 (00:04):
What?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Well, today is National Main Character Day, which I think
we are covering in horoscopes.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
And who could be more of a main character than Aaliyah?

Speaker 6 (00:41):
Not very many. There's a few out there, though.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
It's also National TV Dinner Day, which, you know, that
was my whole childhood. Salisbury steak. National Swamp Idea Day.
And this is great. And I think we need to
dig ours up. It's National School Picture Day. I think
we need to post our school pictures.

Speaker 7 (01:00):
I feel like we just posted those. Back to school.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
We did back to school. But today is National School
Picture Day.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
So we should post our best school pictures. Of which
I guess Kyle hasn't done.

Speaker 7 (01:11):
No, she does.

Speaker 8 (01:11):
We posted them a month ago. Her first day of school.
We all posted our first day of pictures.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I didn't have my first day of school picture, but
I had my school picture.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Well, anyway, that's what it is.

Speaker 7 (01:21):
Candice, good morning. You're on the air.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
How are you?

Speaker 7 (01:23):
What's up?

Speaker 9 (01:24):
Good morning.

Speaker 10 (01:25):
Hey, you guys.

Speaker 11 (01:26):
I just wanted to call in to invite you to
my wedding.

Speaker 12 (01:29):
I'm getting married on 1010 up in Cave Creek. And
we're going to have a taco bar, like buffet, photo booths,
like Western style if you want to wear your boots.
But we're going to have lots of different kinds of
music and it's going to be a good time.

Speaker 7 (01:46):
Hey, I'm telling you right now. I'm looking at my calendar.

Speaker 13 (01:47):
10-10.

Speaker 7 (01:47):
I am the veil. I am the veil.

Speaker 14 (01:49):
And I'm loving the Western style. I have these super
cute red cowboy boots.

Speaker 7 (01:54):
And I love a taco bar.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Well, you have a mechanical bull.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
That sounds dreamy.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
Oh, a mechanical bull.

Speaker 11 (01:59):
You know, there might be one nearby.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 12 (02:03):
Because it is Cave Creek.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
So we don't have one at the wedding.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Oh, at Denims and Diamonds or whatever?

Speaker 7 (02:08):
You have a real bull. Hey, where's the venue in
Cave Creek? Savannah? Savannah?

Speaker 15 (02:12):
It's right there.

Speaker 11 (02:12):
It's right behind Frontier Town.

Speaker 12 (02:15):
It's called Arizona Rustic Weddings.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Oh, cool.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
If you know where El.

Speaker 12 (02:19):
Encanto is, the Mexican restaurant, it's right across the street.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
Hey, that sounds great.

Speaker 12 (02:24):
Yeah, so we'll have a margarita machine and, yeah, drinks and, yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:29):
Is the wedding happening there, too, and the reception? Like,
all of it happening right there?

Speaker 16 (02:32):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Well, that'd be kind of fun.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
And tell us about who you're marrying. What's going on there?

Speaker 11 (02:38):
So his name is Chad. We've been together for five years.

Speaker 12 (02:41):
I actually met him because he lives at the same
apartment complex as my brother and they were friends first.

Speaker 11 (02:48):
He has a pool cleaning business, so he stays busy
all year round. But we got engaged almost a year
ago up in Prescott and we've just we're so looking
forward to the celebration and just having a great time
with all of our friends and family.

Speaker 12 (03:04):
And of course you guys, if you're available.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Well, thank you for inviting us. Can you hold on
so we get more of the details?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Hold on.

Speaker 14 (03:10):
And Rich, the bar with the mechanical bull is Buffalo chip.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
And I think it's like right in Cape Creek. So yeah,
after the wedding, you got to go hit the country bar.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I'm already injured. Might as well.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Just tear the other meniscus. You'll be fine.

Speaker 7 (03:25):
So if I'm being real, Cave Creek's a little bit
of an inconvenience.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
How so? Just outside of the bubble?

Speaker 8 (03:34):
It's a long drive. Like the last time we all
went to a wedding, it was downtown and that was okay. Now,
I'd be open to Cave Creek, but it's funny because
I was like, boy, it's so inconvenient.

Speaker 7 (03:42):
And then, this is awesome. Guess what?

Speaker 8 (03:45):
An article about everyday inconveniences is topical right now. Heading to... Okay,
so here are some everyday inconveniences that drive everyone crazy.
Buying scissors... Only to realize you need another pair of
scissors to open the.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
Package of scissors.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Yes, I know. Yeah, totally.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I don't like any. What do you call those? Blister packs?
I don't like any of those. They're all impossible.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
The 10 hot dogs, eight buns dilemma. One of life's
greatest mysteries.

Speaker 14 (04:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Why do they do that?

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Why do industries not communicate? Because I personally, along those
same lines, would like the baseball pant people to talk
to the baseball belt people to have them actually fit
through the loops.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Very frustrating.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
That's what I'm talking about. A little inconvenience.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Here's another one. There's never a printer that works all
the time. They all don't work. They're all junk. Printer people,
make a printer that works. Everyday inconveniences. A bag of
chips that's mostly air. Damn new shrinkflation. This is a
big one. This is such a big one. And I
bet you it's happened to everybody in here. It's happened
to me many times. But the phone charger that you

(04:53):
think is charging your phone, but it never was.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (04:56):
You go grab it. It's like 5%.

Speaker 8 (04:58):
You're like, wait a minute. It's been charging for four hours.
The grocery bag that rips on the driveway.

Speaker 14 (05:03):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (05:06):
This is a big one, too. This has happened back then.
Back when I used to not care what I ate.
Trying to open a can or trying to open Capri Sun.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
You really got to be a ninja to be able
to stab that just right. Get that strata poke.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
Actually, this is a big one, too. This is actually huge.
Mismatched Tupperware lids and containers. You're looking for the rectangle lid,
but you can only find the oval ones.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
Losing the end of the tape. And then when you
find it. It shreds in long, annoying pieces.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Like the patching tape.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
That's the worst.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
That's the worst.

Speaker 8 (05:39):
Anyway, that was just a fun little thing I saw
on BuzzFeed about everyday inconveniences. If you got one, you know,
shoot us a text or call us at 877-937-1047. Minor
everyday inconveniences.

Speaker 17 (05:51):
Oh, cool.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Your scanner stopped.

Speaker 8 (05:54):
Payton, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?

Speaker 14 (05:58):
Well, today is National Main Character Energy Day today. So basically,
everyone's Instagram story is like a crime scene of fake confidence.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
So I feel like.

Speaker 14 (06:08):
I'm going to tell you basically what your social media,
what your fake social media flex is. So this goes
for you and your Zodiac sign. Or if there's someone
who you follow and you're like, oh, yeah, they're giving fake.
This is some good insight on who they actually are.

Speaker 7 (06:21):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Okay.

Speaker 14 (06:21):
Yeah. So if it's your birthday today, you're a Virgo.
You share a birthday with comedian Matt Rife and ballet
dancer Misty Copeland. So John Jay, you're a Virgo. So
let's start with Virgos. Virgos, your guys is fake social
media flex. You will like post a screenshot of your
clean area. We know that you're a hot mess. There
is nothing over there that's actually truly organized. My Virgos,

(06:42):
you guys are thriving while you make people think that
your personal life is actually complete.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
Okay, that's funny. I take a picture of my clean area.
I don't have a clean area.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Exactly.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
Nicole, good morning. What's your sign?

Speaker 18 (06:55):
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
I'm a Gemini.

Speaker 14 (06:57):
All right, Geminis, you're guys' fake Instagram flex. You guys
will post a boomerang holding a drink with like three
different hands tag, pretending that you're having the time of
your life while you actually only stayed for like 12 minutes.
You took the picture and then you went home and
went to bed.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Photo op.

Speaker 10 (07:13):
Yes, I could totally see myself like that.

Speaker 19 (07:16):
I do do that.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
At least you're honest about it.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
Thanks, Nicole.

Speaker 19 (07:21):
Yeah, have a nice day.

Speaker 20 (07:22):
Bye-bye.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Bye.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
Good morning, Layla.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
What's your sign?

Speaker 21 (07:29):
Taurus.

Speaker 14 (07:29):
All right, so for my tourists, your guys' fake Instagram flex,
you guys are posting like aesthetically pleasing photos of your
iced matcha latte in an unopened book, acting like you're
living in this slow, peaceful life when you actually just
spent like $ 30 on breakfast and haven't left the couch.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Interesting.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
Interesting. Okay, Layla.

Speaker 22 (07:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
Have a great day. Thank you.

Speaker 12 (07:52):
You too.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
How about Pisces?

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Rich, your fake Instagram flex.

Speaker 14 (07:56):
You're going to post some dramatic photo carousel, and then
you're going to post some weird, sad track behind it,
romanticizing your entire life while ignoring the six really important
emails that you promised to answer hours ago.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Listen, the background music is so important on your carousel post.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Not more than those emails that you haven't gotten to.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Got to set the mood.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Text your boss back.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
He told me to tell you so. You need a
cinematic mood.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
How about Libros?

Speaker 14 (08:22):
Kyle, you will post like a soft launch photo of
like two coffee cups on a table, making everyone think
that you're on like a cutesy little date. Meanwhile, you're
just sitting across from your best friend who you're.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Currently mad at.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
I can do that.

Speaker 7 (08:35):
What about you?

Speaker 14 (08:36):
Yeah, us Leos are fake Instagram flex. We will post
a quote unquote casual full outfit photo dumped caption. Just
a quick dump acting like we just threw it on
when we actually spent two hours taking 400 photos in
different lightings just to find one acceptable angle.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 (08:52):
I can see you doing that.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
That's on brand.

Speaker 8 (08:54):
By the way, speaking of fake flexes, I saw this
video Jennifer Lopez did. I don't know if you guys
saw it or not. It was about two or three
weeks ago. I thought it was so cool. I think
she was launching a new drink or something or a
wine or something. So she's sitting there at the table drinking.
And you can see her in a glass of wine,
and someone's pouring the wine in. And she goes, no, no, no,
that's enough, that's enough. Okay, okay, okay, fine, okay. And

(09:15):
they fill it up, and the camera pans back in.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
It's herself. Her arm is filling it up. I thought
it was so cool. It was very, very clever Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 8 (09:25):
Hey, if we missed your sign, they're all posted on
our website right now at johnjanerich.com.

Speaker 16 (09:31):
We just want to hear from you, and I don't
think that's too much to ask, and it's really stressing
me out that you're not calling.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
877-937-1047.

Speaker 7 (09:37):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 16 (09:39):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Kyle, you have an update on your neighbor's story? I
keep thinking about that.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
I remember that one neighbor you guys shared a wall
with that complained about everything with you guys.

Speaker 21 (09:52):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
The balls went over the fence and you'd get pissed.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Yeah, no, he didn't like our basketball hoop because it
blocked his view of the mountain. And he And so
he planted trees all along our fence to block our
whole entire yard, which was fine because I think the
trees are really pretty, but they are kind of annoying.
Like his trees go over our, like over our fence
part and they drop all of these like leaves and

(10:15):
stuff like that. So now we just have all of
his leaves in our yard all the time. And if
it weren't for the drama before where he got so mad,
I mean, he literally like hired a lawyer to go
to the HOA to complain about our basketball.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
If it weren't for all.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
That, I think it would be fine. But like now
every time I go in my backyard and I see
his leaves like in our yard, I'm like, stupid dude.
But I feel like I'm not the only person that
has neighbor problems, because then I got stuck on this
Reddit thread, and I just started laughing and laughing, because
all these people are just venting. We would love to
hear you vent, if you want to vent to us
about your neighbor issues, because it kind of makes you

(10:50):
feel a little less alone. I was dying laughing, because
this person was complaining about how they got irritated that
their neighbor used a leaf blower a lot, and then
they bought their kid's toy leaf blowers. So it's like,
I was already annoyed at the leaf boiler. Now I
have to listen to the kid one on off landscape days.

(11:11):
Then another person was like, somebody said their neighbor's like
entire driveway is empty. Their driveway is empty in front
of their house is empty. But whenever they have people
over the people park in front of their house. and
they're like they're like i don't know why i know
it's petty i know i shouldn't care because it's not
bought like really bothering me but it drives me absolutely
insane and then there's this other guy i don't i

(11:32):
don't understand this or if they had past beef or
something like that this other guy's like really irritated because
he's like every time i mow my lawn no matter
what the guy across the street gets out his lawnmower
and starts mowing his lawn and he's like I originally
did it Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I felt like he
started to get to know my schedule. So then I
started doing on like Monday and Wednesdays. And sure enough,
the guy would pull out his lawnmower.

Speaker 23 (11:53):
The guy ran out there.

Speaker 7 (12:00):
Jeannie, you have an annoying neighbor story.

Speaker 13 (12:02):
Whoa. Uh, yeah, unfortunately I do.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
How annoying? Tell us.

Speaker 13 (12:09):
Um, he's a peach. Um, So our community is about
five years old or so, and there's a house behind
us that stood empty for a while like it was unfinished.
And then when our neighbor moved in, he apparently makes
phone calls to the Philippines around two in the morning,

(12:29):
and that would set our dog off. He's a Westie
Terrier mix.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Is he racist against the Filipinos?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
What?

Speaker 13 (12:39):
Yeah. So that would set the dog off because in
the middle of the night, he's hearing people on the
other side of the fence, and their elevation is a
little bit taller or higher than ours, so the guy
can look over our fence with ease.

Speaker 9 (12:56):
And he would.

Speaker 13 (12:57):
Bark back at our dog, and neighbors had said that
they saw him feeding him when we weren't home, so
God knows what was laced with that.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 13 (13:07):
And then he started.

Speaker 12 (13:09):
Our.

Speaker 13 (13:09):
Dog came in one day or in the morning, and
I bent over to pet him, and he was all wet.
And that's when I found out that he was turning
the hose on our dog.

Speaker 24 (13:19):
Oh, that's just mean.

Speaker 13 (13:22):
So I consider that assault. So I contacted the sheriff's
department to let them know what this.

Speaker 17 (13:28):
Guy was doing.

Speaker 13 (13:29):
And I fear for our dog, you know. And since
he started doing that, we keep him locked up at night.
and um sometimes in the morning when my husband lets
him out we're early risers and he'll forget to put
the flight in the doggy door and so if the
guy comes out dogs have very good memories you know

(13:50):
and um but the guy started um hosing down the
dog with even a stronger nozzle that would hit our
patio so the patio was getting wet and so the
The officer told me that I needed proof, you know,
picture proof. So I turned on my phone to film
the guy, but he had installed a floodlight so all

(14:12):
you get is a silhouette of his face. So I
still have that video, but when I told him that
he was a case number, you know, with the sheriff's department,
he's kind of backed off now, but he's still.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
is there.

Speaker 7 (14:27):
Good move. Good move. Okay. Annoying neighbors. Thank you, Brittany. Brittany,
you have an annoying neighbor story.

Speaker 21 (14:35):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
What do you got?

Speaker 25 (14:38):
Uh, well, it's like an everyday thing. So it's not
just one story, but it sounds like they're like in
a marching band without the music.

Speaker 11 (14:44):
Um, so they're.

Speaker 25 (14:44):
Constantly like stomping and without going into too much detail,
you can literally hear everything. And when I say everything
as adults can use our imagination, I mean everything.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Oh, Oh, really?

Speaker 12 (14:55):
Ew.

Speaker 7 (14:55):
Like brushing their teeth?

Speaker 13 (14:56):
Oh, yes.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
And they're stomping while they're doing that?

Speaker 5 (14:58):
Yeah, brushing their teeth.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
What are they doing while they're stomping?

Speaker 25 (15:01):
I don't know if it's owls are doing it.

Speaker 12 (15:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
It's so that's smell it, but it's.

Speaker 25 (15:04):
All day, every day, like stomping, and then at nighttime,
different noises than stomping.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
Maybe they're just running around in flip-flops.

Speaker 25 (15:13):
They might be.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 18 (15:15):
But yeah, it's.

Speaker 25 (15:17):
Been quite an adventure.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Well, maybe something gets them in the mood.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
That's annoying. It might.

Speaker 25 (15:21):
Maybe they stop in the day and then do their
thing at night.

Speaker 7 (15:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (15:25):
Sounds like a pretty good life to me. Raina, you
have an annoying neighbor story.

Speaker 21 (15:30):
My neighbor uses my driveway to back up every single morning.
And yesterday I finally had had enough. And so I
ran out and I told him to.

Speaker 25 (15:39):
Knock it off.

Speaker 21 (15:41):
Um, so we start arguing and I'm standing there, you know,
telling him, use your own driveway. And the psycho looks
me dead in the face, throws his car in reverse
and hits me on purpose.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Are you okay?

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Yes.

Speaker 21 (15:59):
It was, it was crazy. I'm fine. But that is like,
it's war now.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Obviously. Do you have a recap of that?

Speaker 21 (16:09):
I bought, Oh, unfortunately, no, we don't have a ring camera.
But I think that that will work in my favor
because I bought.

Speaker 9 (16:19):
40 rolls of toilet paper yesterday.

Speaker 21 (16:21):
And this weekend, my kids and I are going to
TP his house because it's supposed to rain.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
That is war.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
He almost killed you.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
He almost killed you. I thought you were.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Going to put nails or something face up on your
driveway so next time he comes in.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
You need to talk to Kyle for revenge. Here's a
fun little party trick. He's going to think somebody in
high school likes him.

Speaker 25 (16:49):
I'm so ready.

Speaker 14 (16:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
So you're bothered by him backing into your driveway?

Speaker 8 (16:53):
I mean, if he's got a truck, I could see
that being something he does every day because that's how
he has to get out.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
Is that so bad?

Speaker 21 (16:59):
He has his own driveway. I don't know why he
doesn't use his.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
That would be annoying. I get it.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
It'd be okay until it ran into you.

Speaker 14 (17:07):
What if he has an oil leak, you know, and
then that's all in your driveway?

Speaker 7 (17:10):
No, that would be bad. Yeah, that would be bad.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
And he ran her over. Right. And he hit her
with his car. Yeah, no, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (17:16):
That part was bad, too. But she ran out there
to confront him. Stop.

Speaker 8 (17:19):
Pull out of my driveway. I remember when I was
a kid and my parents would go... pull into someone's
driveway to back out like that, I would get so
sick to my stomach that the neighbors are going to
come out, you know, and I felt that anger, that anxiety,
but I can't see it.

Speaker 7 (17:31):
Now, as an adult, I think there's peace with it.

Speaker 24 (17:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (17:34):
Pulling out of the driveway.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
It takes a second, then they're gone.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (17:36):
But anyway, Raina, glad you're okay, unless you're calling us
from the hospital.

Speaker 26 (17:39):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
I am okay, but it's war now.

Speaker 7 (17:42):
All right. Well, good luck. Thanks for calling in.

Speaker 27 (17:46):
Thanks.

Speaker 7 (17:47):
Annoying neighbors, if you've got a story, call us, 877-937-1047.

Speaker 6 (17:51):
On the way in less than 30 minutes.

Speaker 10 (17:53):
A giant black thong came out of our dog. And
unless I magically grew an ass overnight, it is definitely
not mine.

Speaker 23 (18:02):
I have no idea, Denise, what you're talking about.

Speaker 8 (18:04):
War of the Roses with John Jay and Rich on
104.7 KISS FM. Hey, it's time for Stacks and Hacks.
I use stacks of information and Rich has life hacks.
We start off stacks with this. Kyle, Peyton, and Rich,
do you guys think you could fake your own death
and get away with it?

Speaker 7 (18:20):
One at a time.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
No. Peyton. No. Rich.

Speaker 7 (18:26):
Totally. Totally. I totally do.

Speaker 6 (18:28):
I don't have enough money for that.

Speaker 14 (18:30):
I feel like it would be, though, because if you
fake your death, you have to have a plan. You
have to be able to get away out of here.
You have to go find a home where no one's
going to go find you. You got to go move
to some private island.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
I ain't got that.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
I just feel like I couldn't cut everybody off.

Speaker 22 (18:44):
Like.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
I would be like, okay, but wait, like I'm going
to fake my death, but then I also need you
and you and you. There's too many people I would
have to dig for that.

Speaker 7 (18:54):
85% of people say they definitely could not. They could
not fake their death.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
I'm telling you, Rick Barron living in Costa Rica at
a trailer park, no problem.

Speaker 8 (19:02):
There's a new service that uses AI and a database
of public records to help daters dig up dirt on
their potential matchers.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Ooh, I like it.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Yes, please.

Speaker 8 (19:12):
It's a service called Stud or Dud. It uses data
from people finders, and it can tell you if the
guys have waxed out.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
That actually sounds like that could be a good game
show or a good dating show.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
I would watch that.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
Woman's going viral on social media for ripping the soul
called Clopin shifts.

Speaker 7 (19:28):
Have you heard of Clopin? What's that?

Speaker 6 (19:30):
Uh-uh.

Speaker 8 (19:30):
Shifts where you work until close, and then you stay
to set up for the next day, and then you're
expected to be at work early the next day to
open the place.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
Yeah, I've heard of that.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
That's cold-blooded, man.

Speaker 8 (19:41):
California woman is in custody after prosecutors say she used
her company card to make unauthorized purchases.

Speaker 7 (19:47):
I can see how you'd be going, well, I'm going
to buy it.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
This.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
But apparently it was $ 4 million.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
Oh, can't get away with that.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
Oh my gosh. And how did that not get flagged
after 1 million?

Speaker 23 (19:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
There's a ice cream shop in Connecticut called Kelly's Cone Connection.
And they've come up with different, I think they're trying
to rip off salt and straw. You know how salt
and straw's got like jalapeno flavor?

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Basil something.

Speaker 8 (20:11):
Yeah, but they came up with some flavors like pizza.
It's called, yeah, it's a, I think it's a slice
is on a waffle cone with strawberry basil ice cream
topped with strawberry sundae sauce grated with white chocolate parmesan.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Oh, that sounds good.

Speaker 7 (20:26):
Interesting.

Speaker 14 (20:26):
Yeah, where salt and salt would actually put the pizza
in the ice cream.

Speaker 21 (20:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
In the past, they've done ice cream tacos, ice cream cheeseburgers,
ice cream clam chowder, and ice cream.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
Lobster rolls.

Speaker 8 (20:37):
A landlord in Milwaukee was cleaning out an empty apartment
and he made an incredible discovery. He found an original
Pablo Picasso etching that was stolen from a gallery in 2018.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Oh, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (20:49):
The landlord turned it over to the police.

Speaker 8 (20:51):
The gallery owner later confirmed it was the real deal.
The artwork had been valued between $ 35, 000 and $ 50, 000 when
it disappeared.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
Oh my God.

Speaker 6 (20:58):
So did they give him like a found?

Speaker 14 (21:01):
Don't they do that where they give you a reward
if you find missing art or whatever?

Speaker 7 (21:04):
Sometimes.

Speaker 14 (21:05):
I hope he got paid.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
I wonder where the guy went. Did he get killed?
How come he left that there? He went through all
the trouble of stealing it. All the trouble of stealing
it and then you leave.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Oops.

Speaker 8 (21:15):
A restaurant in New Jersey apologized after a disabled woman
was given a birthday dessert with the words, happy wheelchair
birthday on the cake.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Happy wheelchair.

Speaker 23 (21:25):
What?

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Who made that mistake?

Speaker 7 (21:28):
That's a lot of writing.

Speaker 6 (21:30):
Yeah, that just sounds like being mean for no reason.

Speaker 8 (21:33):
Speaking of food and dessert, Shake Shack is selling a
Reese's Peanut Butter Cup milkshake that contains 1900 calories.

Speaker 14 (21:38):
Yum.

Speaker 12 (21:38):
Whoa.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
That sounds delicious.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
I would do it.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Yeah, but it's amazing.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
I would do it.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (21:43):
Rich, what do you got for life hacks?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Well, this is really wild. Did you know that there's
a leftover that is actually better for you? When it's
leftover than when it's fresh. Do you have a guess
of what that might be? Are you saying better tasting
or better healthy? Better healthy.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
Oh, wow. Because better tasting, a lot of food.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Well, sure, like pizza the next day.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
Lasagna.

Speaker 7 (22:02):
This is a good riddle. Potatoes. What is better for
you the next day?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Kyle, you were actually kind of on the right track there.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Really? Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
It's rice.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
Rice.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
So check this out. When you cook rice and then
you have it cool in the fridge, some of its
starch changes into what's called resistant starch, which actually your
body digests more slowly, a little more like fiber. So
that means properly chilled rice and then you reheat it.
It actually causes fewer sugar spikes in your blood. So

(22:34):
it's actually better for you the next day reheated or steamed.
Your leftovers just got an upgrade right there. Leftover rice,
better for you than when it's fresh.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
I like how you said properly because apparently like rice
can get mold really quickly overnight. So you have to
be careful about how you do store it.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Keep it in the fridge, of course. Don't leave it overnight.
But keep it in the fridge, then reheat it, make
it hot, and it's better for you. That life hack
and many more can be found at johnjanbridge.com.

Speaker 16 (22:59):
Hey, dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
and Rich.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
All right, it's time for War of the Roses. Good morning, Denise.

Speaker 23 (23:11):
Hi there.

Speaker 7 (23:12):
Who do you think's cheating on you?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Well.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Um, I don't know.

Speaker 10 (23:18):
I guess I think that my dog just exposed my husband.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
Oh, so you think your husband's cheating on you?

Speaker 23 (23:25):
Yep.

Speaker 18 (23:26):
Yep.

Speaker 10 (23:27):
I'm literally, I'm literally on my way home from the
emergency vet because our puppy just ate something and like
they had to make him throw it up. And it
was literally a song.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Wow.

Speaker 10 (23:42):
And it's definitely not mine.

Speaker 21 (23:45):
Ew.

Speaker 10 (23:47):
I'm, like, really tiny, and this underwear was, like, huge. Like,
super large, and there.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Was, like.

Speaker 10 (23:53):
There's literally, like, no universe where he can convince me
that it belongs to me. And my husband was... He
was home alone with the dog yesterday while I was
at work, so now I'm just, like, here thinking.
Okay, like, whose big ass was in my house, and
why did my dog have to be the one to
tell me? Like, we've been married for 10 years, and

(24:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
And no house guests have been over and stayed over
or anything like that?

Speaker 3 (24:23):
No, no.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Weird.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
That's going to be hard to explain.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Sounds like, well, sounds like there was a house guest.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
I'm trying to think of, like, is there any other
possible explanation, like, Do you have weird neighbors that like
to throw their thongs in your yard and maybe your
puppy went out back?

Speaker 7 (24:41):
Or maybe your husband's a cross-dresser and it's his underwear.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Oh.

Speaker 10 (24:46):
I wouldn't even be surprised if he did something shady.

Speaker 9 (24:48):
He's like, he's just, yeah, he's a lot.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Okay, well, let me give you the positive of this.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
Okay, because as someone who has a dog rescue, our
Love Pup Foundation, most of these situations end up with
massive surgery on the dog to get the item out.
And so you just got it lucky that the dog
got to cough up these massive pair of underwear out
of the puppy's throat.

Speaker 7 (25:10):
Because normally it's a $ 10, 000 surgery. We had some neighbors
had to deal with that. We had to help. It
was so expensive to operate, to take out a sock.

Speaker 14 (25:17):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
That happened to my in-laws, too.

Speaker 7 (25:20):
To take out a thong. Like, my God. And not
only that, it's a big thong. Thong, thong, thong, thong.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (25:26):
This is just crazy.

Speaker 7 (25:28):
Okay, so what is your husband's name?

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Charlie.

Speaker 8 (25:31):
Okay, so you want us to call Charlie, and we're
going to find out who he sends romantic flowers to.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (25:38):
And you have zero clue. It's not a friend of yours.
You see nothing else. We're just going to call the
dude up and hopefully he says.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Send him to Denise.

Speaker 11 (25:45):
No one has been to our house for.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Like eight years. That's so weird.

Speaker 14 (25:49):
Yeah, which is why I'm banking on the weird neighbor
throwing songs into the background.

Speaker 7 (25:52):
Let's hope so.

Speaker 14 (25:54):
Because I can only imagine the emotional rollercoaster you're going
through with your pup and then this.

Speaker 7 (25:58):
All right, Denise, hold on a line.

Speaker 8 (25:59):
We will get Charlie on the phone and see who
he's going to send romantic flowers to.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
War of the Roses continues next with John Dean Rich.
All right, we're in the middle of War of the Roses.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
You got Denise, who currently is driving home from the
vet because they had to have her dog vomit up something.
And it was a pair of underwear. It was thong underwear,
not Denise's. It was very large thong underwear, right, Denise?

Speaker 10 (26:25):
Yeah, it was huge.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Which, I mean, obviously that bothers you.

Speaker 10 (26:31):
I mean, it's just not mine.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Right.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Which would bother anyone.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
I'm really glad you called us because we have to
get to the bottom of this.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
You ready, Kyle?

Speaker 19 (26:40):
Yeah, I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
All right.

Speaker 8 (26:41):
We're calling her husband, Charlie. We're going to find out
who he's going to send a flower to.

Speaker 14 (26:45):
Hello?

Speaker 6 (26:52):
Hi there.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Is Charlie available?

Speaker 7 (26:56):
Yes, speaking.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Oh, perfect.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Hi.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
So my name is Sadie. You're like, who are you?
I'm calling from a new company. We're called J &
R Flowers. This is actually a really cool thing for you, Charlie.
You have been chosen to be a micro-influencer for us.
And if you're wondering what that means, I will tell you.
That means you get to send our beautiful bouquet of
roses that is super romantic. It's our pure passion bouquet.

(27:18):
And you get to send it totally free. And we're
kind of just hoping that you post about us on
whichever social media platform you use the most. So we're
We get a little bit of marketing out of it
and you get to surprise someone special.

Speaker 23 (27:28):
I didn't sign up for anything.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I know.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
That's why it's actually really cool because if you signed up,
then you have to do paperwork and all that stuff.
But we don't really need any paperwork. I don't need
any credit card information or anything like that. We really
are just kind of hoping you help spread the word.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (27:44):
I'm in a little bit of a rush.

Speaker 15 (27:45):
Perfect.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
We can get this done really quickly. Um, it is
a dozen long stem red roses. We're going to send
them out with a card. You let me know the
message you want on the card and then we'll talk
name and address. I'll give you a time they're sent
out and we can be done.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Okay.

Speaker 23 (27:57):
So you don't need any of my information. You don't
need my credit card or anything.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
No.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
And I'm actually ready for that message. If you want
to get moving, we can speed it up.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Okay.

Speaker 23 (28:06):
And I don't have to give like my address. I
don't have to, it's just free flowers.

Speaker 14 (28:11):
Yep.

Speaker 23 (28:11):
Anonymous. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
No address.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Uh, Yeah, okay. Sure.

Speaker 23 (28:18):
Could you make it up to Maya, please?

Speaker 5 (28:22):
What would you like to say in that message?

Speaker 23 (28:25):
Just put, can't stop thinking about you.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
Can't stop thinking about you to Maya.

Speaker 12 (28:31):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 10 (28:33):
Charlie, who the hell is Maya? Denise?

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Denise, is that you?

Speaker 4 (28:41):
What are you doing?

Speaker 10 (28:44):
I called John Jay and Rich. What are you doing?
Because I'm literally sitting here listening to my husband send
flowers to another woman.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
Wait, wait, wait.

Speaker 10 (28:53):
Last night at the emergency vet because our dog ate
her song.

Speaker 23 (29:00):
What are you talking about? Okay, I'm sorry, Denise.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
What is I?

Speaker 4 (29:06):
What song are.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
You talking about?

Speaker 10 (29:09):
OK, well, they made our dog throw it up, Charlie.
A giant black thong came out of our dog. And
unless I magically grew an ass overnight, it is definitely
not mine.

Speaker 23 (29:23):
I have no idea, Denise, what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
And it sounds like I don't know.

Speaker 23 (29:28):
It sounds like the dog got into something. But I
don't think what please.

Speaker 10 (29:32):
OK, why don't you just go ahead and explain, Maya?

Speaker 23 (29:39):
Maya is a friend from work.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
And, you know, I've told you about Maya, right?

Speaker 23 (29:44):
Like we get along, she's been going through a lot
of tough stuff. And this week was particularly rough. Like
I literally was just talking to Maya and she's like
crying to Okay. And she's having an extra rough week.
And I was like, hey, let me be a good co-worker.
And she could use this more than anyone else, right?

Speaker 12 (30:02):
Right.

Speaker 10 (30:02):
So she's having a really rough week. And so you
just told them to write, can't stop thinking about you.
And so that makes sense to you?

Speaker 14 (30:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (30:12):
That a co-worker would write that on a safety card?

Speaker 23 (30:17):
Well, yeah, it's like a joke because she's always, you know,
she's like, I'm like, hey, I got to get back
to work.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Sounds hilarious.

Speaker 10 (30:23):
Are you kidding me? Why was another woman's underwear in
my house?

Speaker 23 (30:29):
You're making it sound way worse than it is. That's not,
I think you're jumping to conclusions and like, I don't know,
maybe she left them and it wasn't like it was
a completely accident.

Speaker 10 (30:38):
Maybe she left them.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
So you had Maya at the house? I don't know
what I'm going to say.

Speaker 23 (30:43):
That's not what I meant. That's not what I meant.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
No, you slept down. Yeah, you did.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Hey, have we told you you're on the radio yet,
by the way?

Speaker 7 (30:51):
She did. Oh, okay.

Speaker 10 (30:54):
Okay, so this bitch has been in our house.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I said maybe.

Speaker 23 (30:58):
That's not what I meant.

Speaker 20 (30:59):
I meant maybe there's, you know, someone left in our house.

Speaker 21 (31:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 18 (31:04):
For all we know, we moved in, what, a few
years ago?

Speaker 1 (31:07):
There's still some stuff lying around here.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Charlie, I think it's time to come clean.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
You got caught red-handed.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
Like, you're just, you're really reaching here.

Speaker 10 (31:16):
So how long have you been sleeping with this bitch?

Speaker 23 (31:21):
I'm not doing this with you.

Speaker 21 (31:23):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Denise, I am not.

Speaker 10 (31:25):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Are you cheating on me?

Speaker 2 (31:28):
I don't want to do this on the radio, Denise.

Speaker 25 (31:31):
You can set your sights into the.

Speaker 10 (31:34):
Oh, my God, Charlie.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
It is on the radio.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
And now I'm like fumbling in public.

Speaker 18 (31:40):
If you actually talk to me like an adult.

Speaker 23 (31:42):
OK, you know, because we can't have conflict. Apparently you
avoid every freaking, you know, conflict that we have.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 15 (31:50):
You're talking about avoiding?

Speaker 10 (31:52):
You're literally caught denying.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
I can't.

Speaker 25 (31:55):
I can't do it.

Speaker 15 (31:56):
I can't do it.

Speaker 26 (31:57):
I will talk to you about this not on the radio, okay?
How about that?

Speaker 28 (32:02):
Why would you humiliate me like that?

Speaker 3 (32:03):
That's f * * * ing great.

Speaker 10 (32:04):
Please, get the f * * * off, dude.

Speaker 23 (32:06):
I don't know why you're doing this to us.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 7 (32:13):
All right.

Speaker 5 (32:13):
She's not doing anything.

Speaker 10 (32:14):
Well, I guess we figured it out, so.

Speaker 19 (32:17):
I'm sorry, Denise.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
I'll talk to you later.

Speaker 7 (32:19):
They didn't get thrown over the fence. All right, so, Denise,
but the dog's okay?

Speaker 27 (32:24):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (32:25):
Okay. All right, the dog's... Charlie, you didn't even check
the dog.

Speaker 26 (32:27):
I'm taking my dog.

Speaker 16 (32:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
Yeah, take the dog. Okay.

Speaker 6 (32:30):
He's no good.

Speaker 8 (32:31):
All right, hold on a line. We see if we can... Well,
she seems to be a very strong woman.

Speaker 14 (32:36):
Yeah, she's a good woman.

Speaker 7 (32:38):
That's War of the Roses. That is War of the Roses.

Speaker 8 (32:41):
War of the Roses with John Jay and Rich on
104.7 KISS FM. We want to know what's the craziest
thing your dog ate. By the way, on the show
this morning, we got Minute to Win it coming up.
We got tickets to Dizzyland coming up. Tickets to Harry
Styles coming up.

Speaker 12 (32:55):
Huh?

Speaker 8 (32:55):
Yeah, Harry just dropped that he's coming to town. We
got tickets to Kanye West. All that's happened. Oh, and
Chance the Rapper. That's this morning. And most of that's
going to happen in the next hour and 10 minutes,
so keep listening.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
Melissa, what'd your dog eat?

Speaker 13 (33:09):
So my dog, Max.

Speaker 26 (33:10):
Is a little French bulldog. And I gave him a
T-bone with a little bit of meat on it one day,
just a regular-sized T-bone steak. And this dog just swallowed
a T-bone. Like, no chewing, nothing.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Just gulped it in one gulp.

Speaker 26 (33:24):
And if you don't think it's possible, I didn't think
that either, and neither did the vet. But we saw
it on the x-ray, and... He said, I've never seen
anything like this. It didn't perforate anything, no puncturing, and
it didn't require surgery. She just said, he's going to
break it down. Hopefully it'll just pass through. We'll have
no issues.

Speaker 7 (33:41):
No way. No way. So the stomach acid broke down
a T-bone.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
That's wild.

Speaker 26 (33:48):
And I can't believe that it even went down his throat. Like,
I don't even know how that is possible.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
It's also weird. Cause it's not like Max learned his lesson.
Now you, I mean, he's not going to do it
any different with the next T-bone.

Speaker 26 (34:02):
Well, this is the sad part. He ended up passing
away last year from going through my trash and ate
all the tampon plastic applicators, and we couldn't help him
from that point.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
You know what?

Speaker 26 (34:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (34:18):
I have a list here.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
I have a list.

Speaker 7 (34:21):
It was on Reddit.

Speaker 8 (34:21):
What's the strangest thing your dog's ever eaten? And tampons
is number five on that list. So you're not alone.

Speaker 17 (34:26):
Really?

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
So Max was doing what he was supposed to do.

Speaker 18 (34:28):
That is so weird.

Speaker 27 (34:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
I don't know if he's supposed to do it.

Speaker 7 (34:32):
Well, thanks for calling him, Melissa. Sorry.

Speaker 18 (34:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (34:36):
Thank you.

Speaker 13 (34:36):
Have a good day, guys.

Speaker 7 (34:37):
You too. Good morning, Karen. Did your dog eat something strange?

Speaker 19 (34:43):
Yeah, a Scotch-Brite pad.

Speaker 7 (34:45):
What's that?

Speaker 6 (34:46):
To wash dishes, right?

Speaker 19 (34:47):
Those things you scrub cast iron pans with.

Speaker 7 (34:50):
Oh, the little metal things? The little round ball things? Oh,
I like those.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
I mean, I wouldn't imagine it would do too much
of a A good thing in your stomach, though, right?

Speaker 12 (35:01):
No, it pretty much.

Speaker 19 (35:02):
Clogged him up, and we couldn't figure out why he
wouldn't eat and why he couldn't poop. And he started
losing a lot of weight, and he was in the ER.
And finally, on the fifth day, they figured it out.
And they did an ultrasound, and there's the whole pulpit
right there in his belly.

Speaker 8 (35:22):
We got to put out a warning because I don't
want any social media influencers to say this is a
good way to lose weight now.

Speaker 4 (35:27):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 8 (35:28):
You eat one of those and then you get clogged
up because you got to think stuff still comes out.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
It filters it.

Speaker 19 (35:36):
It was having a hard time coming out. So they
actually cut him open almost from his neck down to
his whole underside and had to pull out every piece
in the intestines and cut out the pad, and then
put him back, and he was up and running around
the next day.

Speaker 7 (35:53):
Yeah, dogs are amazing. Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 19 (35:55):
Well, thank you, Karen.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
$ 5, 000 later.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
Yeah, of course.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
That's a price tag for sure.

Speaker 7 (35:59):
Michelle, what did your dog eat that was strange?

Speaker 9 (36:02):
Oh, my gosh. I left my phone on the table.
He's six months old, kind of a Corso Mastiff, jumps
up on the table when I wasn't looking, ate the
pop socket off of the back of my cell phone
and a ballpoint pen. Well, that's dangerous.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
Very dangerous.

Speaker 9 (36:20):
I'm, you know, waiting for something to happen to find it,
for him to act different. Never did. He's a normal dog,
eating and drinking. A month later, he throws up the
pop socket.

Speaker 22 (36:33):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (36:34):
Dang.

Speaker 9 (36:35):
And it was, like, intact with a couple of marks
from his teeth.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (36:41):
Does it still work?

Speaker 3 (36:44):
No.

Speaker 9 (36:45):
I did have to throw the pop socket away.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
You did get yourself a new pop socket. That's good.

Speaker 7 (36:52):
Thanks, Michelle.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
No problem.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
How do dogs get a taste for ballpoint pens, but
they won't eat olives? That we stay away from.

Speaker 7 (37:01):
Hannah, what does your dog eat?

Speaker 14 (37:04):
Hi.

Speaker 15 (37:05):
My dog is a 35-pound shepherd mix, gray, one eye.
She's a total train wreck looking dog. And not long
after we adopted her, she got really sick, took her
to the vet.

Speaker 26 (37:18):
They looked and.

Speaker 15 (37:18):
Did an x-ray, and they thought she had, like, fabric
in her stomach. But they wouldn't know until they finally
did surgery. And when they did, $ 6, 000 later, they found
that she swallowed an entire corn on the cob whole.
And we don't even know where she got it, but
that's what she ate.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
You don't know where she got it?

Speaker 7 (37:39):
You think I would have changed the shape of her body?

Speaker 24 (37:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (37:41):
She's so tiny.

Speaker 15 (37:43):
Yeah, but that was like, do you guys want it?
Because it's like the most expensive corn on a cob ever.

Speaker 12 (37:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 26 (37:50):
But we didn't take it.

Speaker 7 (37:51):
You can make it a necklace. All right. Thanks, Hannah.

Speaker 21 (37:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (37:55):
By the way, this is a good opportunity for me
to tell you, like a lot of stuff happens with Blake,
my wife, because we run the Love Pup Dog Rescue
and people always call her and ask her for advice.

Speaker 7 (38:02):
My dog just ate this. What do I do?

Speaker 8 (38:03):
And then she has all these tips and then her
and my sister create an app called called Love Pup Plus,
and you can download it. It's in the app store
for both phones, iPhones and Samsungs. Love Pup Plus, and
it's totally free, and you register your dog in there,
and then you can ask it anything, and it'll tell you,
my dog just ate a T-bone, what do I do?

Speaker 7 (38:20):
And it will tell you what to do. Becky, good morning,
what'd your dog eat?

Speaker 3 (38:24):
I had a 75-pound basset hound that basset hounds, their
nose gets them into trouble.

Speaker 17 (38:35):
And three children under eight that got a hold of a,
back in the day, the old mouse for your computers
had tracking balls.

Speaker 7 (38:47):
I have one right here.

Speaker 17 (38:48):
That thought it was a hoarder. and $ 5, 000 later.

Speaker 7 (38:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
That seems to be the going rate to get something
out of your dog's stomach, at least five grand.

Speaker 8 (38:57):
That's how I was blown away by the T-bone call,
that they didn't take that out, especially the vet. That's
a good vet, because you think the vet would be like,
I can make some money, let me take that T-bone out. Amanda,
what did your dog eat?

Speaker 28 (39:07):
Well, I don't even know where to start.

Speaker 20 (39:09):
He eats, he's eaten so much. His name is Tragan,
he's a chocolate lab, and it probably started with the
candy canes, literally off of the Christmas tree. So my
daughter made him a shaming sign.

Speaker 28 (39:21):
He took batteries.

Speaker 20 (39:26):
And brought them back to his kennel and almost burnt
our house down.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
Oh, no.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
Why a dog would chew a battery. He then, one.

Speaker 20 (39:35):
Thanksgiving, ate half of our Thanksgiving turkey.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
We had sliced.

Speaker 20 (39:39):
It, served it at the table. And unbeknownst to about,
I don't know, eight of us, nine of us, he's
behind us eating the other half of the turkey. He
pulled a bag of flour down, tried to eat flour.
I think that was the picture I posted.

Speaker 4 (39:52):
He's got horrible snack taste.

Speaker 12 (39:56):
He's eaten butter, like.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
Literally a stick of butter.

Speaker 26 (39:58):
Off of the counter.

Speaker 6 (39:59):
I can't blame him for that.

Speaker 28 (40:02):
Oh yeah, bagels.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
I can't even, yeah, so many things.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
Okay, but that's not strange. Those are food items. We're
looking for strange things. Tim, what did your dog eat
that's strange?

Speaker 18 (40:13):
So we had a beagle, which is part of a hound,
just like the lady with the The Basset Hound, right?
She would eat anything metal, sticks, rocks, her own poop, sprinklers.
But the thing that really got her, it was normal,
but she ate a Costco-sized bag of hamburger buns.

Speaker 7 (40:33):
All of them.

Speaker 18 (40:34):
So like 24 hamburger buns and then the bread tie
and the plastic, the whole ball of wax. And it
did her in. Like, we had to take her to
the hospital, and she was, like, 13 years old. And
they're like, oh, yeah, it's going to be, like, five
or six grand if we do something. And the bread
tie lacerated her stomach.

Speaker 7 (40:51):
Oh, no.

Speaker 23 (40:52):
Poor baby.

Speaker 4 (40:53):
So she could eat sprinkles just fine with the back
of her hands.

Speaker 23 (40:57):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (40:58):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (40:59):
Like, but she was a tank.

Speaker 18 (41:00):
Like, she ate strings, like, toys, Legos, like, It was always,
and we had to keep peroxide around to like put
it down her throat so she could throw up whatever
she ate because it was like always a constant problem.

Speaker 8 (41:12):
See, when your dog eats something, if you give it,
I think my wife said salt, put a bunch of salt,
and it'll vomit everything right up.

Speaker 6 (41:19):
I could see how that could happen.

Speaker 8 (41:21):
On this list I have, it says an F1 key,
an F11 key on a keyboard, a TV remote, a
driver's license, reading glasses, two full wasp nests is what
their dog ate, all the garden lawn sprinklers, the floor
of a boat. And one dog ate two pounds of
sand in one sitting.

Speaker 6 (41:38):
That is insane.

Speaker 7 (41:39):
That is crazy.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
No reports, actual reports that my dog ate my homework, though.

Speaker 7 (41:43):
Not yet. Chris, what did your dog eat, Chris?

Speaker 22 (41:48):
My parent's dog ate two pounds of edibles.

Speaker 7 (41:53):
Oh.

Speaker 22 (41:56):
I normally watch my parent's dog, but this time I
was out of town, so my brother watched it. And
he had apparently two freezer bags full of edibles he
didn't realize he had.

Speaker 7 (42:05):
And it was the 4th of July.

Speaker 22 (42:06):
He came home, and she was on the couch stoned
watching Bluey. And then my parents texted me, and my
mama said, this is why we don't let your brother
watch the dogs.

Speaker 7 (42:18):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
But at least, like, I mean, it was Bluey.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
It was an appropriate TV show.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
Educational.

Speaker 6 (42:24):
Appropriate and locked in.

Speaker 7 (42:26):
The way you said it, though, sounds like the dog
turned on the TV.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
I know.

Speaker 7 (42:29):
Put it on Bluey's couch.

Speaker 22 (42:32):
John Jay, I sent you a picture of her to
your Facebook whenever you can get a chance. But she
was high probably for three days. They took her to
the emergency vet, and the vet's like, there's nothing really
we can do, so just ride it out.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (42:46):
Hey, thanks, Chris. Thanks for calling in.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 7 (42:49):
Hey, Tom. Tom's got something different. What do you got, Tom?

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Hey, how's it going, guys? Hey, how about what did
my tortoise eat?

Speaker 7 (42:57):
Sure. Why not?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Everything. Everything. Literally anything laying around, the pool noodles, plastic bags,
a 50-foot rope, you name it. What's really messed up
is the longer things, like the pool noodles, the rope,
either you're pulling out the mouth, but depending on how
long he's been at it, you might be pulling it

(43:19):
out the other end.

Speaker 7 (43:21):
It's like, what do you do with the turds?

Speaker 2 (43:24):
We had to keep the yard spotless.

Speaker 8 (43:26):
But you think the turtle, you know, you think moves slow.

Speaker 7 (43:28):
You see it going after the noodle. No! You're like
that guy on Austin Powers. No!

Speaker 2 (43:36):
Stop!

Speaker 6 (43:37):
Tortoises are fast, though.

Speaker 8 (43:38):
There's an Instagram account I follow, and it's this lady
that has this giant tortoise.

Speaker 7 (43:42):
And man, it destroys her house.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
I'm sure. They're like tapes.

Speaker 7 (43:46):
She had as little as yours.

Speaker 8 (43:47):
And now it's like, in fact, if you watch Monsters
of God, episode five is a lot about tortoises and
these rare tortoises.

Speaker 7 (43:54):
It's pretty interesting. You know, is yours a philosophical tortoise?

Speaker 6 (43:57):
No, I think ours is a sulcata tortoise.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
Not a desert tortoise?

Speaker 6 (44:01):
Not a desert tortoise.

Speaker 17 (44:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (44:03):
Well, the one they have to talk about on, did
you finish episode five?

Speaker 5 (44:08):
I have like 10 more minutes.

Speaker 7 (44:09):
You know the turtles, the one turtles, the yellow ones
are called philosophericists?

Speaker 6 (44:13):
Yeah, something like that. They're like dinosaurs, literally.

Speaker 7 (44:15):
They look like every tortoise I've ever seen in my life.
They're just a little yellow. Huh.

Speaker 8 (44:19):
And they're a big deal. Anyway, I got the picture
of the dog that's stoned.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
Oh, as he's watching Blooming?

Speaker 7 (44:26):
He's just leaning on the bed. He literally looks like
a dog that's stoned.

Speaker 4 (44:30):
Poor fella.

Speaker 7 (44:31):
All right, we're going to play Minute to Win It.
We need an contestant. We got a contestant. Jazzy.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
Hey.

Speaker 7 (44:42):
Hey. You ready to play Minute 20 with us?

Speaker 15 (44:45):
I am so ready.

Speaker 10 (44:46):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 26 (44:47):
I've been trying to get on this for the past, like,
I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
All right.

Speaker 7 (44:52):
Well, good. You made it through. What are you doing
right now? Where are you?

Speaker 1 (44:58):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
Hello?

Speaker 7 (44:59):
I said, what are you doing right now? Where are you?

Speaker 4 (45:02):
Oh, all right.

Speaker 26 (45:03):
Yeah, no, I'm on my way to work.

Speaker 17 (45:06):
I work as a vet tech.

Speaker 24 (45:07):
So when I was listening to What Your Dog Ate,
I've been there and saw all of those.

Speaker 7 (45:12):
I bet you have. What's the craziest thing you've seen
as a vet tech that a dog has eaten?

Speaker 13 (45:19):
A bra.

Speaker 9 (45:20):
No, no, an action figure.

Speaker 26 (45:22):
An action figure, like toy cars.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 14 (45:25):
And then, yeah, I know the running rate.

Speaker 26 (45:28):
Everybody was talking about the running rate's about 5,000.

Speaker 27 (45:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (45:31):
If you go to First Vet Pet, they offer.

Speaker 15 (45:34):
Some help with financials.

Speaker 11 (45:35):
We had someone go, and it was only.

Speaker 7 (45:37):
$ 1, 000.

Speaker 4 (45:38):
Oh, there you go.

Speaker 7 (45:38):
That's good.

Speaker 8 (45:39):
Okay, Jazzy, so now I know that you're on speakerphone now,
so that's your deal. So if you miss a question,
you can't hear Rich, that's all a delay because of you.

Speaker 7 (45:49):
You're on speakerphone, just letting you know. Okay.

Speaker 18 (45:52):
OK, let's play.

Speaker 4 (45:54):
Don't be stressed out.

Speaker 7 (45:54):
Here we go.

Speaker 5 (45:55):
John Jay and Rich have one thousand dollars cash for
you from Peoria Ford right now.

Speaker 7 (46:00):
Minute to win it.

Speaker 4 (46:01):
Sixty seconds on the clock. Get them all right. You
win a thousand dollars. Here we go. The NFL is back.
Name either team that played in last year's Super Bowl.

Speaker 26 (46:12):
No freaking way.

Speaker 18 (46:14):
Either team.

Speaker 26 (46:16):
Last year's Super Bowl. Gosh, last year's Super Bowl.

Speaker 15 (46:24):
I think it was, was it the Seahawks?

Speaker 4 (46:28):
There you go. I'll give you a point. You got it.
What former member of Destiny's Child celebrated her 45th birthday
and is married to Jay-Z?

Speaker 10 (46:36):
Oh, and she's married to Jay-Z?

Speaker 3 (46:38):
Destiny's Child.

Speaker 14 (46:47):
I don't know, you ask.

Speaker 8 (46:49):
Oh, oh, oh, duh, Beyonce.

Speaker 1 (46:50):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
What small organ attached to the large intestine was long
thought to have little or no function?

Speaker 6 (47:01):
Oh, you know what?

Speaker 4 (47:02):
I don't even know.

Speaker 23 (47:02):
The gallbladder?

Speaker 12 (47:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 19 (47:06):
That's a good guess.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Oh, no.

Speaker 4 (47:08):
Looking for the appendix. Appendix. Oh, appendix.

Speaker 7 (47:13):
Oh, I'm so sad.

Speaker 27 (47:15):
Jazzy.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
I don't think you're going to get through the rest
of them with the time that you had left there.
You took a little long in the first one.

Speaker 7 (47:23):
What a great name, Jazzy. What a great name for
a dog.

Speaker 4 (47:25):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Jazzy.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
And a DJ.

Speaker 6 (47:27):
Hey, yeah, I met a bunch of dogs.

Speaker 10 (47:28):
Yeah, named Jazzy.

Speaker 7 (47:29):
Yeah. All right, well, Jazzy, hold on a lot, okay?
Hold on. Thanks for playing. Sorry you didn't get it.
And thanks for listening. Hold on. No. What a bummer. Hey,
by the way, speaking of football, last night, anyone watch
the game last night? I did, yeah, sure.

Speaker 5 (47:42):
Just a little bit of it.

Speaker 7 (47:44):
I watched some of it.

Speaker 8 (47:45):
And the stuff that I'm going to play for you
right now, because as I watch it, I listen to
it with a different ear. I listen to all the
things that sound dirty. So Seahawks, Patriots last night, there
were some times they sounded too, here were some moments
that were very, very dirty, but also weren't dirty.

Speaker 4 (48:00):
He is caught from behind.

Speaker 7 (48:02):
They call me like the human pole. You can't move
the pole.

Speaker 24 (48:05):
Out of there.

Speaker 5 (48:06):
He dwarfed him there.

Speaker 22 (48:08):
Right down Broadway and just stayed right on him.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
Castles it through.

Speaker 5 (48:12):
There's a little finger flinch.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
Here's Melissa.

Speaker 4 (48:14):
He didn't really use his pinky or his ring finger.

Speaker 8 (48:17):
I don't care how you get it to him, but
you've got to get it to him.

Speaker 7 (48:20):
Touches. Eight, maybe nine deep. Moving slowly.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (48:28):
Things that's not dirty that aren't dirty uh you know
we did that's amazing uh new ted lasso dropped last
night yesterday.

Speaker 8 (48:38):
Actually dropped the night before us but but um i
watched it yesterday anybody watch it um it's funny how
this is such a great show in the past the
first three seasons first season is phenomenal this season i've
been kind of like Eh, on it, but there's moments
in the show that are like, oh, that's the old
Ted Lasso.

Speaker 7 (48:58):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (48:59):
Is that why you keep watching it? Because I feel
like every time you watch the new episode, you're really
meh about it.

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Yeah, you seem disappointed.

Speaker 8 (49:04):
Because I love the characters, and I love the show,
and I'm waiting. In fact, this is what's weird. This
is really weird about this most recent episode. Here we
are in September, and it was a New Year's Eve
Christmas episode. Oh, they did that again, Like, I feel like,
why not kind of like time it out?

Speaker 4 (49:18):
Right. Why did they have something? They had people singing
on the show.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (49:21):
They're saying old and it starts off with Christmas lights.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
And every show now either has a singing part or
a dancing part. Even if it's a murder show, there's
a dancing scene.

Speaker 7 (49:29):
There's both on that. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
That's what I, they're just killing time.

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (49:33):
But there's something very relatable here because Roy pops his
knee and has to have surgery.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Huh?

Speaker 7 (49:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (49:40):
It's like they're following you. Did you hurt your knee
dancing to Jump Around by House of Pain? I wish
it was that sexy. No, I was just stepping slightly
to the left in my own home. By the way,
Harry Styles' big announcement this morning, Harry posted it on
his own Instagram account.

Speaker 7 (49:53):
So Harry Styles... is coming to Phoenix.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Whoa!

Speaker 5 (49:56):
Literally starting his tour here, which I think is so awesome.
Like when Artie, like Taylor Swift started her Ares tour here.

Speaker 7 (50:03):
So did Bieber. Bieber started one of his tours here.

Speaker 4 (50:05):
State Farm Stadium, two nights.

Speaker 6 (50:06):
Yeah, it's going to be epic.

Speaker 7 (50:08):
And we're going to have tickets.

Speaker 14 (50:09):
I really hope that they get like the sound down.
Like I'm curious how his stage is going to be
set up. Cause I feel like at state fart stadium,
cause it's so big.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (50:17):
State fart.

Speaker 3 (50:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (50:18):
That one right there.

Speaker 14 (50:19):
Um, I hope it's in the middle because then it
sounds like the whole sound is engulfing you versus like
all the way on one side of the arena.

Speaker 6 (50:26):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
Yup.

Speaker 7 (50:26):
For sure.

Speaker 4 (50:28):
But they've done it. Taylor's done it.

Speaker 5 (50:29):
Yeah. I feel like Harry's people will figure it out.

Speaker 7 (50:32):
Well, here's the thing too.

Speaker 8 (50:33):
Noah, our very own Noah Lashley was there last night.
He was in New York at Harry's concert and he
posted some great videos. We've got them on our Instagram.
He was like close. And I've already texted him and
DM'd him because I wanted him to review the show.
But he hasn't texted back.

Speaker 6 (50:53):
He's in recovery mode.

Speaker 7 (50:55):
There's a lot going on in New York right now.
You also got the U.S. Open.

Speaker 6 (50:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (50:58):
And so I'm wondering, hey, can you guys try to
call Noah real quick?

Speaker 1 (51:01):
What?

Speaker 6 (51:02):
And it's New York Fashion Week, I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
it starts today. Yeah, literally. Oh, it is probably jumping
in New York City.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
Oh, my gosh. The celebrities are probably everywhere.

Speaker 4 (51:10):
The pop-up stores, the pop-up things are everywhere.

Speaker 7 (51:13):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 6 (51:13):
What a time.

Speaker 8 (51:14):
Just call him. Just call him on his cell phone.
Everyone's staring at me. Here's what I'm thinking. If we
get Noah on the phone... and you listen carefully to
what Noah says. We might quiz you on Noah's conversation,
and that's how we'll give away the Harry Styles tickets.

Speaker 4 (51:27):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 8 (51:28):
Or let's say we talk to Noah, and we might
quiz you on his conversation and give you Kanye tickets.
You just never know. We've got so much going on.
We also got Disney tickets coming up in 20 minutes.
But the way we're giving away the Disney tickets, you've
got to listen for the magic word every single hour
starting at 10. Like yesterday's words we're going to ask
you for today. All right, so they're calling Noah right now.

(51:53):
Let's just wait. By the way, I was playing this
this morning because... It.

Speaker 7 (52:00):
Was on Ted Lasso last night.

Speaker 4 (52:02):
They played this on Ted Lasso.

Speaker 8 (52:15):
When I played it about 20 minutes ago, I got
all these DMs saying, play more of that.

Speaker 4 (52:19):
It's classic. James Brown.

Speaker 7 (52:22):
What do you get with Noah? Nothing? His phone turned off? Yeah,
he's out. He was probably out till freaking 5 a.m.
this morning.

Speaker 8 (52:29):
But anyway, just know the big announcement is that Harry
Styles is coming to town.

Speaker 7 (52:32):
We're going to have your tickets. Lots of tickets.

Speaker 16 (52:34):
Have an idea for the show?

Speaker 18 (52:35):
Today is your day.

Speaker 16 (52:37):
Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us right now. Now,
it's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 7 (52:43):
So much is happening right now on this radio show.
It's so exciting, you guys. It's so exciting.

Speaker 4 (52:48):
I can't contain it.

Speaker 8 (52:49):
Okay, so we're about eight minutes away from Disney tickets.

Speaker 7 (52:53):
Okay, so you got to keep listening. And I'll give
you all the details on how to win in just
a little bit.

Speaker 8 (52:59):
Also, War of the Roses was crazy War of the Roses.
If you missed it, you go to our Instagram, John
Jay and Rich. Type in Roses and we'll send you
it right to your phone so you can hear it.
But also Harry Styles announced. Harry Styles announced he's coming
here in April. And our very own Noah Lashley was
at the concert in Madison Square Garden last night. And

(53:21):
I saw some of the coolest videos. Noah Lashley reporting live.
Are you there, Noah?

Speaker 1 (53:26):
I am reporting live from Madison Square Garden.

Speaker 4 (53:28):
No, he hasn't slept at all. Listen to how deep
his voice is.

Speaker 7 (53:31):
What time did you go to bed last night? Oh,
my God.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
It was like 2 a.m. in New York, and I
woke up like three minutes ago.

Speaker 5 (53:40):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (53:41):
So how was the concert? How great was it?

Speaker 1 (53:45):
The energy is insane. You'd think for a concert that's
going on 30 nights by like night four, the energy
would die down. But here we were at night seven,
and it was like being at night one.

Speaker 7 (53:57):
He's doing 30 nights in a row?

Speaker 1 (53:58):
30 nights at Madison Square Garden. Well, I think it's Monday, Wednesday,
Saturday or something like that that he's doing shows. And
then the rest of the week, it's like he's not
even here. They don't even acknowledge it.

Speaker 8 (54:09):
It looks like you had great seats because that video,
if you guys see this video, freaking Harry Styles points
at Noah.

Speaker 7 (54:14):
It's so crazy.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
I was at the barrier in the pit.

Speaker 7 (54:18):
Yeah, I knew it.

Speaker 4 (54:19):
That's amazing.

Speaker 14 (54:19):
So how long do you have to camp outside the
venue to get those right at the barrier?

Speaker 1 (54:26):
It was actually really cool because they had... They had
four GA tickets, but then they had the pit tickets,
and there was only less than 100 for each of
the pits.

Speaker 7 (54:35):
There were two pits.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
So we just walked right in. We didn't even come
for the opener. We just walked right in when we
were ready, drinks in hand, and it was like they're
waiting for us.

Speaker 4 (54:44):
So it's kind of like VIP pits.

Speaker 6 (54:46):
Yeah, it's like you already got your seat. You got
your stuff. That's dope.

Speaker 7 (54:49):
How much did that cost you?

Speaker 12 (54:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Yeah. Well, it took us six months to pay off
the tickets.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
I heard he brought in like an orchestra and all
kinds of cool stuff too. Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
They had like special dancers, special trumpet players. They had
a guy playing the triangle and, And the best part
was because we were so close, we actually got to
hear like the individual instruments. Like I think it was
just for show, but I heard the triangle and I
heard them banging two wooden blocks together. Like it really
sounded like I was part of a choir.

Speaker 7 (55:26):
What was the last song you played?

Speaker 1 (55:30):
He played Aperture as his final song.

Speaker 7 (55:33):
Oh, that's good. Did he do any One Direction?

Speaker 1 (55:35):
He did Sign of the Times, everybody's favorite. And then
there was like this seven minute DJ interlude and he
was mixing it himself. And then it slowly went into
Aperture and the whole place went nuts. And it was
like being in a club.

Speaker 7 (55:48):
Did he do any One Direction?

Speaker 27 (55:51):
No.

Speaker 7 (55:52):
Come on. That would have been good.

Speaker 4 (55:53):
I mean, he's got enough. I know, but still. Three
albums worth of stuff.

Speaker 6 (55:56):
She don't know she's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (55:59):
Did he do Kiwi? I want to know if he
did Kiwi.

Speaker 1 (56:02):
He did Kiwi.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
That's my jam right there.

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Kiwi is from his debut album, and it doesn't sound
like any of his other songs. It's always been a
fan favorite.

Speaker 7 (56:11):
Yeah, it's like a rock.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
And as we were paying off the tickets... We're like,
what's the point of even doing all this if we're
not going to hear Kiwi? He never plays Kiwi. And
then he added it to New York and New York only.
And we were so lucky.

Speaker 7 (56:23):
Right on. I think we should play One Direction right
now anyway. It is a banger. It is.

Speaker 8 (56:32):
Do we play a Harry Styles song or a One
Direction song? Let's take a quick vote right here. What
do you think, Rich?

Speaker 4 (56:38):
Harry Styles.

Speaker 6 (56:38):
One Direction.

Speaker 5 (56:39):
One D.

Speaker 7 (56:40):
One D.

Speaker 6 (56:41):
Yes, you outvoted Rich.

Speaker 7 (56:43):
Come on.

Speaker 4 (56:43):
That's cool.

Speaker 5 (56:45):
And because 1D is also Harry Styles.

Speaker 7 (56:47):
Yeah, that's what started it. That's what started it, man.

Speaker 5 (56:50):
It's nostalgia. Everyone loves nostalgia.

Speaker 8 (56:52):
So make sure you're listening, you paid attention to Noah's interview.
Because if we have tickets, we might quiz you on
what we said to Noah.

Speaker 7 (57:01):
Ooh, that's hard. Yeah, right? Let me ask you, Noah,
what were you wearing last night?

Speaker 1 (57:06):
So I was wearing a New York Harry Styles jersey, black,
that I bought from the pop-up shop. And then a
tie that my friend Shelby stuck little emblems all over.
It was a red tie and there was a disco
ball and some stars and some kisses. And then I
had a kiss lip tattoo, fake tattoo on my forehead.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
Awesome.

Speaker 7 (57:29):
No wonder he pointed at you. Noah, you're the best.
Enjoy your days off. We'll see you on Monday.

Speaker 18 (57:35):
See you then.

Speaker 7 (57:36):
See you, Noah. That was awesome. I'm so glad you're here.

Speaker 16 (57:39):
As the person who currently occupies your attention, I would
like to thank you for listening to John Jane Rich.

Speaker 7 (57:46):
All right, call 104 right now. You get Disney tickets.
You got to know three of the magic words.

Speaker 8 (57:50):
Call us at 877-937-1047. In the meantime, good morning, Maria.
About an hour and a half ago, we were talking
about annoying neighbors. You got an annoying neighbor story?

Speaker 24 (58:02):
Good morning. How you guys doing?

Speaker 16 (58:06):
Good.

Speaker 4 (58:06):
Good.

Speaker 2 (58:09):
Yes.

Speaker 24 (58:10):
I didn't even think this was possible until I heard
Kyle's story. We are actually going through the same scenario.
So we bought a house just a little over a
year ago. And of course, brand new, the backyard is empty.
So before we bought the house, we actually went to
the HOA and let them know everything we wanted to do. Great.

(58:30):
Once we got it all approved, we submitted it, and
our neighbor to the next door of us, he said, oh,
come look at my pool.

Speaker 19 (58:37):
Come look at my backyard.

Speaker 24 (58:38):
Here's some ideas. Very, very friendly to begin with. Once
construction started, oh, kept complimenting, oh, it looks nice.

Speaker 19 (58:47):
Gosh, that looks great.

Speaker 24 (58:48):
Meanwhile, people are coming up and saying, hey, did you
get it permitted? Hey, did you get it permitted? And
we're like, why is everybody asking?

Speaker 10 (58:56):
We did.

Speaker 24 (58:57):
Everything's permitted. Everything has gone through. Come to find out,
he has been complaining about everything we did, about our pool,
about our outdoor kitchen, about our shop we built, and
he's even threatening to sue the HOA.

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Oh, my gosh. That's such a pain.

Speaker 7 (59:14):
That is a pain, Maria.

Speaker 1 (59:16):
Yes.

Speaker 24 (59:17):
And he actually did plant some flowers because he's like,
I can look into your kitchen window. And I'm like, oh,
my God, how rude. So he planted flowers and stuff
all along. And now all of his flowers. are coming
into our yard and getting in the pool. I'm like,
oh my God.

Speaker 14 (59:33):
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 7 (59:34):
Well, Maria, thank you for calling in. Thank you for listening.

Speaker 13 (59:38):
You guys have a great day.

Speaker 7 (59:39):
You too. Hey, what number are we at? Looking for
caller 104. Where are we at?

Speaker 4 (59:45):
We're at caller 66.

Speaker 7 (59:46):
Okay. Chris, good morning. You've got an annoying neighbor story?

Speaker 8 (59:52):
I do, yeah.

Speaker 28 (59:53):
I actually have two stories. One involves their pool and
another is their tree.

Speaker 23 (59:57):
So what would you guys prefer?

Speaker 7 (59:59):
The better one.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
The better one.

Speaker 28 (01:00:01):
Oh, they're both equally good.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
I'll go with the pool.

Speaker 28 (01:00:04):
So, you know, I've been in my home now for
about 10 years and I try to be patient with
my neighbors. I typically help out when I can, especially
like with the yard and just trying to, at one
point they were going through some struggles. So, you know,
I did my best to be a good neighbor like
anybody would. And I've realized that they don't reciprocate. So

(01:00:25):
their pool typically is poorly maintained. And I don't know,
I don't own a pool, but people that I do
are pretty adamant that they maintain like the corn content
and just try to avoid getting algae and things like
that within their pool. Well, my neighbor doesn't seem to
really mind to do that too much. So when they, uh,
see that their pool is becoming too like algae infested

(01:00:46):
or gross, they drain it. But the way they drain
it is they just, uh, turn their pool pump onto reverse.
So instead of actually like using a pool, um, like
a secondary pump to remove the water, they use a
pool pump because it's just easier for them, I guess,
than renting one or they don't own one, but they
just drain it directly into the side of their house.

(01:01:06):
So then it leaches underneath, uh, the fence into my yard.
So since they've been doing that, uh, two of my
walls has started to settle and you can see that
in like a stucco finish.

Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
Backwash.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 28 (01:01:19):
Yeah, because they're just backwashing it directly into like the
side yard. So I've had some settlement issues for like
a shed that I have on that side of the
house and the fence of mine that faces the front
of the property that has stucco. When they would drain
their pool to the street, their pool is so like
algae infested that now every time it rains, there's like

(01:01:41):
residue of algae there.

Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Chris, let me rephrase that.

Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
I want you to tell me the shorter story, not
the better story.

Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
They got themselves a pond is what they got.

Speaker 8 (01:01:50):
I don't need to know the intricacies of how the
pool works.

Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
We aren't the HOA.

Speaker 7 (01:01:57):
For God's sake, Chris.

Speaker 12 (01:01:58):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:01:58):
So are they doing.

Speaker 28 (01:01:59):
Anything about it? Absolutely not, no.

Speaker 7 (01:02:03):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:02:04):
Then you need to call the HOA. All right, brother.
Thank you. What number are we at now?

Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
We've got to be at 300 now.

Speaker 5 (01:02:12):
You guys are the worst.

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
You're the worst.

Speaker 27 (01:02:16):
Oh, 99.

Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
You're caller 100.

Speaker 4 (01:02:16):
That's why we're not members of our HOA. We don't
want to.

Speaker 6 (01:02:21):
Hear that. You're caller 102. Oh. You're caller 103. Caller
104 is on line four.

Speaker 7 (01:02:30):
Oh, my stomach hurt. That was funny.

Speaker 8 (01:02:35):
You like it when i'm such a nice guy it was.

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
Such a long story you know my wife told me
she's like you're really nice until you guys start doing
butt slam she's like then the mean bridge barra.

Speaker 7 (01:02:45):
Comes out oh my god what'd she say.

Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Color four 104 104 is on 14 or okay.

Speaker 8 (01:02:51):
Oh exciting all right so by the way here's how
this works if you are not color 104 do not
worry But in exactly two hours, we're going to start
giving out magic words again. You got to write them down,
memorize them, and then we'll ask you for them tomorrow
at eight. Oh, let's see who this is.

Speaker 7 (01:03:08):
Good morning, John Jane Rich. Who's this? Hello.

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Hello.

Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
Hi.

Speaker 12 (01:03:15):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (01:03:15):
Hello.

Speaker 7 (01:03:17):
Who's this?

Speaker 26 (01:03:17):
This is Angela.

Speaker 7 (01:03:20):
Angela, you're caller 104.

Speaker 28 (01:03:22):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:03:24):
Yeah, Angela.

Speaker 5 (01:03:25):
Are you kidding?

Speaker 14 (01:03:26):
No.

Speaker 24 (01:03:26):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 18 (01:03:27):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
No, no. We would never lie to you, Angela.

Speaker 13 (01:03:31):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 9 (01:03:32):
I listen to you guys all the time, and now I'm.

Speaker 19 (01:03:34):
Talking to you on the phone.

Speaker 7 (01:03:35):
Well, thank you. What part of town are you in?

Speaker 4 (01:03:38):
I'm in Glendale.

Speaker 7 (01:03:39):
When was the last time you went to Disneyland?

Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
When I was a child.

Speaker 8 (01:03:45):
That is fantastic. Okay, well, so far, you've made it
through step one. Now, step two is we need... Three
of yesterday's magic words.

Speaker 7 (01:03:55):
Three of the ten.

Speaker 8 (01:03:56):
If you get those right, you get tickets to Disneyland.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 4 (01:04:02):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 12 (01:04:03):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:04:04):
Ready.

Speaker 10 (01:04:05):
I'm ready.

Speaker 7 (01:04:06):
What do you got? Give us one.

Speaker 18 (01:04:08):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
One.

Speaker 18 (01:04:10):
Fantasy.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Boom.

Speaker 7 (01:04:12):
Give us another one.

Speaker 27 (01:04:14):
Boom.

Speaker 9 (01:04:14):
Joyful.

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
One more and you're going.

Speaker 9 (01:04:20):
Pixie.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Oh.

Speaker 10 (01:04:21):
Yeah!

Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
That's the winner!

Speaker 14 (01:04:26):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:04:28):
You did it!

Speaker 11 (01:04:30):
This is crazy.

Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
Angela, you're going to Disneyland!

Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
She sounds like she's in shock.

Speaker 9 (01:04:36):
I am in shock.

Speaker 13 (01:04:37):
Look, I never get through.

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
This is.

Speaker 26 (01:04:40):
I gotta breathe.

Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
Yeah!

Speaker 9 (01:04:45):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 (01:04:48):
Well, you just won.

Speaker 9 (01:04:49):
Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 19 (01:04:50):
I can't believe I got through.

Speaker 8 (01:04:52):
You won four two-day, one park-per-day passes, and you qualify
for the grand prize, a Disney vacation, which is four three-day,
one park-per-day passes, and a hotel at the Disneyland Resort.

Speaker 7 (01:05:03):
Angela.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Oh, I would love that.

Speaker 18 (01:05:07):
It has been so long since I've been there.

Speaker 7 (01:05:08):
And it's the best. It is the most wonderful place
in the world.

Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
But they've made some changes since you were there, too.
Probably some new rides.

Speaker 18 (01:05:16):
Probably.

Speaker 10 (01:05:21):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (01:05:22):
Angela, hold on. Let me get your information, okay?

Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
Hold on.

Speaker 14 (01:05:25):
Okay.

Speaker 27 (01:05:25):
Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 7 (01:05:27):
Thank you for listening. Rich, kill him with the Disney jokes.
Another magic word's coming up.

Speaker 6 (01:05:32):
10.05.

Speaker 7 (01:05:34):
And then 11.05, 12.05.

Speaker 8 (01:05:34):
We're going to do it every day. Like I said,
we've got a lot going on this morning, man. Disney,
Harry Styles. We've still got Kanye, Chance the Rapper.

Speaker 7 (01:05:41):
Harry Styles. Lots going on. Oh, man. What a morn, huh?
What a morn.

Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
Just getting started.

Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Are we?

Speaker 7 (01:05:49):
Because there's like two hours left of the show.

Speaker 5 (01:05:52):
We're like halfway.

Speaker 7 (01:05:53):
We're way more than just getting started, Rich.

Speaker 8 (01:05:55):
Unless you plan on staying until noon or one or
something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
I'll hang out. What do I got going on? I
can't walk anywhere.

Speaker 16 (01:06:02):
You come for the John Jay and Rich, but let's
be honest.

Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
You stay for Kyle and Peyton. It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 7 (01:06:11):
Kyle and Peyton, what's going on in the entertainment world?

Speaker 5 (01:06:13):
Okay, I did not have this on my Taylor Swift
bingo card, but a scientist who happens to be a
huge Swiftie helped identify a new group of insects and
basically turned one of them into a Taylor Swift, basically.
It's like a new genus that he named Swiftiephilus.

Speaker 4 (01:06:31):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (01:06:33):
And there's four species references to Taylor herself in this
Swifty Phyllis. There is a lover fearless and the tortured
poets department. So there are now insects named after Taylor Swift.

Speaker 6 (01:06:44):
That is like another level of superstardom right there.

Speaker 15 (01:06:47):
I know.

Speaker 6 (01:06:48):
It's amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Sydney Sweeney has partnered with a company called Novig. And
I feel like these betting sites make so much money
because they're the only ones in the ads that are
getting these huge celebrities. Not only did they get Sydney Sweeney,
but they got Sydney Sweeney to strip down. And she's
promoting how this betting site is all... There's a lot
of betting sites. We talked about one just yesterday that

(01:07:11):
does arcade games and sports and everything.

Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
Better.

Speaker 5 (01:07:14):
But yeah, but this one is just sports.

Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
Thinking of sports?

Speaker 7 (01:07:19):
Prove it.

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show just sports.
You can trade this sport and this sport.

Speaker 17 (01:07:28):
How about this?

Speaker 27 (01:07:29):
Or this?

Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
Sports.

Speaker 17 (01:07:30):
Sports.

Speaker 7 (01:07:31):
Sports.

Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
Sports.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
You can't trade this. No betting on wars or deaths.
And no politics.

Speaker 5 (01:07:38):
When she says sport, this sport, this sport, she's covering
her boobies with whatever that sport is. Basketballs, footballs, et cetera.

Speaker 7 (01:07:46):
I watched it probably a thousand times yesterday. The thing
about the video that she made, it's really well done.
It's classy. She looks great. She looks beautiful.

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
She does.

Speaker 8 (01:07:53):
And it's a great video. That's one of those things
where I think we've talked about before. That's our new
meet bikini, Kyle and Peyton.

Speaker 14 (01:07:59):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
Sports.

Speaker 6 (01:08:00):
Just sports.

Speaker 14 (01:08:01):
I honestly, though, like hats off to Sydney Sweeney because
I don't think that there is many as mainstream or
big stars like her that would be willing to do
advertisements like that.

Speaker 6 (01:08:11):
Like she found her niche.

Speaker 7 (01:08:12):
No, she got paid.

Speaker 6 (01:08:13):
Getting paid.

Speaker 5 (01:08:14):
I think it's a paycheck.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
She was getting paid.

Speaker 6 (01:08:16):
She found her niche. And I mean, that's what she
leans into. The hot blonde with big boobs. Like, good
for you, girl. More power to you.

Speaker 5 (01:08:22):
We love ourselves some Sydney Sweeney.

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
Exactly.

Speaker 14 (01:08:25):
W Magazine, they asked Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber what
all of their favorite things are. And the Beliebers are
actually eating this up. Because you remember like back in
the day when you could... actually get magazines and like
you do interviews with your favorite artists and you would
pin it up on your wall or put it in
your binder. That's exactly how W Magazine did this interview
with Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber. Asked them their favorite movie.
Hailey's was The Grinch. Justin was The Breakup. And everyone

(01:08:48):
is actually speculating The Breakup because you know that there's
that lore where it's like, does Justin Bieber really like
Hailey Bieber? Because apparently like two years ago, his favorite
movie was The Notebook. And now it's The Breakup?

Speaker 8 (01:09:00):
Well, you know what the big headline out of that
interview is? That they're saying that the Biebers are boring.

Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:09:06):
And a lot of them are just calling him out
that they have nothing in common.

Speaker 6 (01:09:10):
But I'm like, opposites attract. You can't be the same
exact person that you're with. You got to switch it
up a little bit, in my opinion.

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
So I know Justin Bieber and like he also said
his favorite go-to karaoke song was With You by Chris Brown.
But I feel like what this article did was like,
they're just normal. They're not boring. They're just normal people.

Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
And he's mellow. He's not like, you know, out of
the box crazy. He's a chill personality. I love this.

Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
It's like, oh, they like to karaoke. Like Justin Bieber
is one of the biggest artists in the world and
he likes to karaoke.

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (01:09:44):
I agree with you.

Speaker 14 (01:09:45):
I think it's probably just all like the inner 10
year olds who never got to be with Justin coming out.

Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
You know, it's a little you got to hate a
little bit, but it is what it is.

Speaker 14 (01:09:53):
Okay, so if you saw on Instagram, there was a
new account that was made, and it was Jennifer Lawrence.
And she has been basically saying that she is not
going to get on social media for the last decade.
So the fact that she even made this account is insane.
But when she made the account, it's not. You can't
find her at Jennifer Lawrence. You can only find her
at J-Law, which is what her nickname is. But in

(01:10:14):
her caption or in her bio, it's like, at Jennifer
Lawrence was taken. So someone out there has Jennifer Lawrence's
hat or her at name.

Speaker 7 (01:10:23):
You know who?

Speaker 14 (01:10:24):
Who?

Speaker 7 (01:10:24):
Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaker 14 (01:10:25):
Whoever another Jennifer Lawrence is, but I think Jay lost you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
She's a bad tech in Minnesota.

Speaker 6 (01:10:28):
And perfect for her anyway.

Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:10:31):
SZA, she announced her new brand, Van SZA, with Vans.
So basically, she announced that she's going to have one
drop that comes out October 22nd. It's going to be
the new school Mule, which is like that kind of
old school, kind of chunky skater looking van. And what
I'm really loving about this collab and how she's adding
her own personality into it, You know how sometimes on

(01:10:52):
the back of.

Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
Your shoe, you just like step on them. You don't
slip your shoe on all the way.

Speaker 14 (01:10:56):
They specifically designed it so that back heel can lay
down because SZA always.

Speaker 6 (01:11:00):
Walks on the back of her heels.

Speaker 5 (01:11:01):
Oh, Scott has a pair of shoes like that and
he loves them. It's like you can wear whatever you want.
You want to, you want to go full shoe or
half shoe. Exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:11:09):
So he would really like the Vans SZA collab.

Speaker 5 (01:11:12):
I think I would too.

Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
That's interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
Your husband doesn't look shoeish.

Speaker 5 (01:11:16):
Okay, guys, we are five days away from the premiere
of Dancing with the Stars. The new season starts next Tuesday,
and it started off already with an injury. So Giada
De Laurentiis, she is on the show, and she actually
showed on her Instagram that she's injured already.

Speaker 6 (01:11:38):
So I had a great day at rehearsals today.

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
Sadly, I busted my toe.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
There's my toe.

Speaker 6 (01:11:46):
As you can see, it's quite purple. I'm for sure
going to lose my toenail, I think. Ouch.

Speaker 5 (01:11:54):
I knew that would get John Jay. Just the mental
picture alone. You don't need to go touch it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:58):
He's twitching over there, you guys.

Speaker 5 (01:12:00):
She did say she's determined to get better and be
a part of the opener. And she's like, we'll figure
it out. We're going to be part of the game. No, no,
no worries. blackpink's lisa is getting her own documentary you
guys a trailer for always la lisa chronicles her her
little solo run including a fifa world cup performance coachella
debut acting was like she's been very busy we really

(01:12:23):
had no days off it's hard because there's a lot of.

Speaker 7 (01:12:27):
Pressure out like we don't have to do it this
crazy it's like no i can do it.

Speaker 5 (01:12:34):
Is going to be huge. The film is getting released
in IMAX theaters October 12th. Blackpink fans, get your tickets
as soon as they come out. Lizzo, you guys, she's
adding one more job to her resume. This one involves kids,
a flute, and a whole kind of new audience. She
wrote a kid's book, a children's book called Lil Lizzo

(01:12:55):
Meets Sasha B. Fluten, which basically was inspired by her
own relationship with music and the flute. It even comes
with a QR code that can let kids get Hear
an original song she wrote. And then she says the
whole point is just helping kids find their own voice
and kind of feel like they belong and like follow
your dreams and the whole things you want kids to
do anyways. Paramount Plus just dropped the trailer for Team

(01:13:17):
Moms Baseball. This is Kim Kardashian's executive produced show that
is right here in Arizona. Baseball and Scottsdale go hand
in hand.

Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
Legendary Prep Academy is a high performance baseball academy.

Speaker 5 (01:13:30):
He's going to the MLB for sure. I'm not going
to kill his dream. We are here for the love
of the game. They start with that. They start with that.
And then all of a sudden it's like all the
parents hate each other. Like, you beep, beep, beep.

Speaker 4 (01:13:40):
Yeah, it's insane.

Speaker 5 (01:13:41):
It's going to be high drama for sure. That one
premieres September 24th on Paramount +. Okay, so imagine Hollywood
made a movie that is very obviously about you. It
cast Robert Pattinson as you or Peyton Zendaya as you
and never really asked your permission. This is what happened
to Chris Hansen, and he is not happy about it.

(01:14:04):
Chris Hansen says the new Robert Pattinson movie, Primetime, which
is very clearly inspired by To Catch a Predator, basically
stole his life. And he did not approve this. Nobody
involved him in it. And he thinks the movie kind
of makes the real work look darker and more sensational
than it was. And now he's actually looking into his
legal options.

Speaker 4 (01:14:23):
That's supposed to be a.

Speaker 6 (01:14:24):
Great movie, too. I mean, it has 100% on Rotten
Tomatoes and Robert Pattinson.

Speaker 14 (01:14:27):
So I wonder if like he's salty, he's not getting
any of that money that's about to come through.

Speaker 5 (01:14:30):
Maybe, but also like he was like, do I pursue
legal options or is that exactly what they wanted so
they could help promote the movie? So he's like, I
maybe want to explore it, but I also don't want
to bring more attention to it. But by saying that,
you already did. So sorry, Chris Hansen. If you're a
big Michael Jackson fan, just know that one of the
actual crystal-covered gloves from the 1984 Victory Tour is being

(01:14:53):
auctioned off, complete with the Swarovski crystals, a letter tracing
it back to someone who actually worked for Michael Jackson.
And it's the kind of piece that basically became a
part of his entire image. I love when stuff like
this goes up for auction because it's like, you know
the uber rich is going to pay big bucks for this.
And then you're like, you paid that for a glove.
Like it just always kind of blows my mind.

Speaker 8 (01:15:14):
And the thing is, probably at the time, he probably
had gloves like a million.

Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
Now they're very rare. If this last segment offended you,
I am really, really sorry.

Speaker 16 (01:15:27):
Please email our management at yourmom at iheartradio.yourmom.com.

Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 7 (01:15:35):
All right, we're going to play a game. Erica's our contestant. Hi, Erica.

Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (01:15:41):
How are you this morning?

Speaker 24 (01:15:43):
Great.

Speaker 11 (01:15:44):
How are you?

Speaker 7 (01:15:44):
All right, so you're going to play a game with
us for Chance the Rapper tickets, okay?

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:15:50):
Okay, but we'll give you an option.

Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
Here's my best.

Speaker 8 (01:15:52):
I'm going to give you a chance. We are going
to give you a chance. A Chance the Rapper or
Kanye West tickets.

Speaker 7 (01:16:01):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:16:03):
Don't give us an answer now.

Speaker 8 (01:16:05):
Don't give us an answer now because at the end
of this game, whichever ticket you don't take, we will
give away to caller 14.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
So I'm just letting you know.

Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:16:13):
Okay, so let's play Pop 10.

Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
It's time.

Speaker 7 (01:16:17):
It's time for Pop 10.

Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
It's time.

Speaker 5 (01:16:20):
Okay, Erica, I hope you get these tickets. I think
you're going to do great. John Jay, we will start
with you. Apple made a huge announcement yesterday in their
new series, supposed to do way more, way more things
that you want. So, John Jay, there's 10 seconds on
the clock to name as many things. that you would
ask Siri to do if she suddenly had zero limitations.

(01:16:40):
You could ask Siri to do anything. On your mark,
get set, go.

Speaker 7 (01:16:44):
Read people's minds. Become invisible. I would want to speak
in many different languages. Moonwalk. Travel through space. Speak. Dog.

Speaker 5 (01:16:56):
I'll let that go. I'm going to count that one
for you. It was a very solid start. Rich, the
NFL is actually playing in Australia today.

Speaker 4 (01:17:04):
Yes, they are.

Speaker 5 (01:17:05):
It's their first ever regular season game in Australia. So, Rich,
you've got 10 seconds to name as many American things
that you can think of that we should make Australia
try next. On your mark, get set, go.

Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
Ranch dressing. Let's see. A Camaro. French fries. Hot dogs.
And American pie. Apple pie.

Speaker 6 (01:17:28):
American pie.

Speaker 4 (01:17:31):
Like, what is American pie? Apple pie is American.

Speaker 5 (01:17:32):
I'll take that, you know, and I'm going to just
count that as you were referring to the movie.

Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
Okay, you should try that movie.

Speaker 5 (01:17:36):
So that it's different than the apple pie.

Speaker 4 (01:17:38):
I probably don't have Australian pie in the movie.

Speaker 5 (01:17:41):
Okay, Peyton, this week Ariana Grande just surprise dropped a
complete live album without a big drawn out announcement and
fans are loving it. So Peyton, you've got 10 seconds
to name as many things in life that are just
awesome when they come as a surprise. On your mark,
get set, and go.

Speaker 6 (01:17:59):
A bonus check, a free gift card, when you.

Speaker 5 (01:18:06):
You're usually so fast.

Speaker 23 (01:18:08):
I know.

Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
I don't know why I'm having a breakdown.

Speaker 6 (01:18:10):
Because my mind low-key went somewhere else at first.

Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (01:18:14):
And then you have to just get back on track.

Speaker 3 (01:18:16):
Dang it.

Speaker 6 (01:18:16):
I will redeem myself in round two.

Speaker 5 (01:18:18):
You just wanted to give Erica a better shot. So, Erica,
it is your turn now. You know you have to
be very quick because there's only 10 seconds, right?

Speaker 6 (01:18:26):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 22 (01:18:28):
All right.

Speaker 5 (01:18:28):
September is here. And it's the Burr months, right? Which
means everyone's kind of, we're all kind of pretending it's
sweater weather, even though we know it is definitely not
sweater weather yet. So Erica, you've got 10 seconds to
name as many things that we do to force fall
to happen before the weather is ready. On your mark,
get set, go.

Speaker 24 (01:18:50):
Okay, drinks, hot coffee, hot tea, swimming.

Speaker 12 (01:18:57):
I don't know why.

Speaker 19 (01:18:57):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:19:00):
I mean, you did better than Peyton that round.

Speaker 26 (01:19:03):
Yes, good job.

Speaker 5 (01:19:04):
You can pull ahead in round two.

Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
All right.

Speaker 5 (01:19:09):
John Jay, Miley Cyrus, she announced she's entering a whole
new era. She doesn't want to be Cyrus anymore. It's
just Miley. So she is joining a whole other elite
celebrity group, celebrities with one name. So John Jay, 10
seconds on the clock to name as many celebs that
are only one name.

Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Go.

Speaker 7 (01:19:27):
Beyonce, Bieber, Miley, Cher, Elton John. The Beatles.

Speaker 5 (01:19:37):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
They didn't have two band names.

Speaker 5 (01:19:39):
You're going to usher Drake, Rihanna, Adele. You did pretty
good there, though. John Jay is in the lead, so
he is the one to beat. Rich, season five of
The Secret Lives of Morning Wives drops today.

Speaker 4 (01:19:48):
Awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:19:49):
It's only five episodes, though, because of all the drama
with Taylor Fergie Ball. They literally had to stop taping
in the middle of the season. But, Rich, you've got
ten seconds to name as many things. that would immediately
get you kicked out of mom talk.

Speaker 13 (01:20:02):
Ooh.

Speaker 5 (01:20:02):
Ready, set, go.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
Having an affair with one of the husbands, taking a
brand that was your brand, like you did the deal
for the brand, getting your hair extensions by somebody else,
and getting your own puppy deal. Oh, that was really good.

Speaker 5 (01:20:16):
Literally only one point behind John Jay. Peyton, we talked
earlier about how New York Fashion Week is kicking off today,
which means we are going to see some very questionable
things called fashion. In the past, there's been all these
bizarre things that they're like, it's fashion. So 10 seconds
is on the clock right now for you, Peyton, to
name as many completely ridiculous things that you could just

(01:20:37):
wear and convince people you are high fashion just because
you're at Fashion Week. On your mark, get set, and go.

Speaker 14 (01:20:45):
A dog on your head, a shoe on your hand,
a belt as a headband, your socks on as gloves,
your nail polish as like these weird, gross things.

Speaker 4 (01:20:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 19 (01:20:56):
Use your imagination.

Speaker 6 (01:20:58):
That was really good.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:20:59):
Not enough to beat John Jay. So Erica right now,
John Jay is the one to beat if you would
like to have your choice at Chance the Rapper or
Kanye tickets. Okay, so get your creativity going. A lot
of people are really excited. Apple announced a foldable phone.
We're getting into the details of that in just a
little bit. It's really expensive. It starts at $ 2, 000. So, Erica,

(01:21:21):
you've got 10 seconds on the clock to name as
many things that you would rather spend $ 2, 000 on. Like,
all the things you'd rather spend $ 2, 000 on than a
new phone. On your mark, get set, and go.

Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
Clothes, a car, vacation, get to the Bahamas, choose.

Speaker 5 (01:21:47):
Oh, you were so close.

Speaker 4 (01:21:48):
Get some badass shoes for 2K, though. Oh, Erica.

Speaker 5 (01:21:54):
Our Pop 10 winner of today is John J. Van Ness.

Speaker 7 (01:21:58):
Oh, Erica.

Speaker 6 (01:21:59):
John J.

Speaker 7 (01:22:00):
Van Ness. I want to tell you this. You were
so close.

Speaker 8 (01:22:03):
I really want those Kanye tickets. But, Erica, you pick.
Kanye or Chance the Rapper?

Speaker 6 (01:22:11):
Oh, that's a really hard one.

Speaker 22 (01:22:17):
Kanye.

Speaker 7 (01:22:18):
Kanye. You chose wisely. In my opinion.

Speaker 5 (01:22:23):
You're going to see Kanye West.

Speaker 8 (01:22:27):
Hold on the line. Call her 14 right now. You
get to go see Chance the Rapper. So hold on, Erica. Congratulations.

Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
That's a pretty cool thing. They get to just have
14 and get Chance tickets. That's cool.

Speaker 7 (01:22:41):
Very cool.

Speaker 14 (01:22:41):
And the Chance the Rapper, he's doing his coloring book album,
which dropped like 10 years ago, which in my opinion
is the best Chance album ever.

Speaker 16 (01:22:49):
You've got questions, and we have four unqualified people to
give you answers.

Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (01:22:55):
All right. It's John Jay and Rich. Harry Styles made
a big announcement this morning. He's coming to Phoenix in April.
We've got free tickets. An hour ago, we talked to
our very own Noah Lashley, our behind-the-scenes Noah, our audio ninja.

Speaker 7 (01:23:10):
He was in New York.

Speaker 8 (01:23:11):
He went to the concert last night to see Harry Styles.
Here's how you can win the tickets. The first person
that can tell us specifically what Noah was wearing last night, 877-937-1047,
you will get tickets.

Speaker 7 (01:23:26):
You'll be the first person.

Speaker 8 (01:23:27):
You'll probably be the first person in the United States
to get tickets to his first show, not in New York.

Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
877-937-1047.

Speaker 8 (01:23:33):
Be specific what Noah was wearing. Now, if you missed
the interview, it's already loaded up. It's already podcast. You
go to John J. Rich On Demand on the iHeartRadio app,
the free iHeartRadio app, and you can listen to it
really quick. We're going to look for a winner after
Kyle tells.

Speaker 7 (01:23:50):
Us what we need to know.

Speaker 5 (01:23:52):
Okay, it is official, you guys. Apple finally joined the
foldable phone world yesterday. It was the worst-kept secret. But
the new iPhone Duo is coming out. It starts at
a casual $ 2, 000. It goes all the way up to $ 3, 000,
depending on how much storage you want. It opens to
a 7.5-inch screen. works with your Apple Pencil and uses
Touch ID. Apple also dropped the iPhone 18 Pro and

(01:24:15):
Pro Max with a major upgrade, AirPod 5 with noise
cancellation and live translation starting at just $ 129, and the
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 with a whole
bunch of new health AI features like I can guess
your health age. Weirdly, though, there was no regular iPhone
18 announced just yet.

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
Oh, yeah, that's true.

Speaker 5 (01:24:35):
That's coming like next spring, but they want you to
get the more expensive.

Speaker 14 (01:24:39):
I was texting my sister about the new iPhone Duo,
the foldable one. And she was telling me she was like,
I feel like millennials are freaking out about this because
it's basically a sidekick, but like a smartphone.

Speaker 6 (01:24:53):
And I was like, it looks like an iPad to me.

Speaker 7 (01:24:55):
It does.

Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
I think that was their goal. They literally said it
was inspired by the iPad. I'm like, it was inspired
by Samsung's foldable phone. I thought it's eighth generation, but okay.

Speaker 14 (01:25:04):
Literally, but she was like, it's giving sidekick vibe where
you can flip it and you can do the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (01:25:09):
That's a really expensive buy-in. Really expensive.

Speaker 8 (01:25:13):
I heard that the iPhone 18, when it does come out,
that it's going to be almost as much if you
get the two terabyte.

Speaker 4 (01:25:18):
Or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:25:19):
Really?

Speaker 7 (01:25:20):
You're saying that?

Speaker 6 (01:25:20):
You're not going to be the first one to get it.

Speaker 4 (01:25:23):
I'm saying that I'm not going to. I did already
pre-buy the AirPods.

Speaker 7 (01:25:27):
The new AirPods.

Speaker 4 (01:25:28):
See, okay.

Speaker 6 (01:25:29):
So you were in there somewhere.

Speaker 4 (01:25:30):
I was in there somewhere, but I don't think I'm
going to switch my phone. Just joking.

Speaker 5 (01:25:33):
Samsung did immediately start trolling Apple.

Speaker 3 (01:25:35):
I saw that.

Speaker 5 (01:25:35):
They just said, welcome to Foldables. We've been here for
eight generations.

Speaker 14 (01:25:39):
They were like, are you going to keep reheating our
leftovers or what?

Speaker 4 (01:25:43):
I was like.

Speaker 6 (01:25:44):
Gen Z is definitely running that X account. Oh my gosh,
so funny.

Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
Okay, there is a big development in the Lindsay Clancy case.
It is insane how each day there is more drama
with this. So Lindsay Clancy's attorney is now trying to
just get the entire case thrown out completely so prosecutors
cannot put her through a second trial. So normally when
a jury can't agree, you get a mistrial, which is
basically what happened. But prosecutors are allowed to start over

(01:26:09):
with a new jury in that case. Her attorney, though,
is arguing that this mistrial should have never even happened
because there was that one juror that was holding out. Now, normally,
if one juror holds out because they truly believe that
that person should be guilty and the rest are finding
it to acquit. That's the key. However, this specific juror

(01:26:29):
actually said and admitted that he had reasonable doubt, which
is what basically they needed to acquit. And so now
because of that, he's saying they can put this whole
thing into double jeopardy, which make them not be allowed
to put her through a second trial. September 29th is
the big day we're looking for because that's when he
will argue in court and we'll see what the judge

(01:26:50):
says because it's just a mess actually right now. Now,
if you would look on TikTok for an apartment... Maybe
don't because it is becoming a really sketchy place to
look for housing. A new study actually found 68% of
rental listings on TikTok have at least one major scam warning.

(01:27:10):
Younger renters are actually getting hit the hardest with this.
They have no idea they're getting scammed. 18 to 29-year-olds
are three times more likely to report losing money to
these specific scams, which they lure you in because this
place looks amazing and it's at a really amazing price.
So the biggest rule is if you are looking for
housing online, no matter what, if it seems too good

(01:27:32):
to be true, it probably is. Make sure you go
in person or at the very least get like a
video tour or something like make sure that you have
proof that the place even exists. So if you normally
see movies at Harkins here in town, there's a. Weird
little movie theater breakup happening right now. Harkins will no
longer show any A24 movies. They said they could not

(01:27:52):
come to an agreement with A24 on the terms to
show their films. So for now, if you want to
see an A24 movie like Onslaught, you got to go
somewhere else. It could obviously change it. They do work
out a new deal. You know, it's all about the money.
But right now, A24 movies are officially off the Harkins menu.

Speaker 6 (01:28:09):
I need them to like.

Speaker 14 (01:28:10):
Kiss and Makeup because Harkins is my favorite movie theater
and I love a good A24 film.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
I know.

Speaker 5 (01:28:15):
I just want everyone to get along.

Speaker 23 (01:28:16):
Please.

Speaker 6 (01:28:17):
Just for us movie goers.

Speaker 5 (01:28:18):
There is some good news in town. Phoenix City Council
officially approved the new one-year pilot that will allow Roosevelt
Row businesses to host artists, jewelry makers, clothing vendors, food sellers,
and other local creators for First Friday. So the vendors
are back for First Friday. They're sending out applications. They
open September 16th and the first revamped First Friday will

(01:28:40):
be October 2nd with all the vendors and all the
fun stuff on Roosevelt Row. And that's what you need
to know.

Speaker 8 (01:28:45):
Harry Styles announced his tour. His first stop is in Phoenix.
The first two shows in Phoenix. We have free tickets.
We talked to Noah an hour ago. Noah, our audio ninja,
was there at Madison Square Garden last night. He said
it was an amazing concert. And since New York Fashion
Week started today in New York, it's a fashion question.
We want to know what did Noah say he wore

(01:29:08):
specifically to the Harry Styles concert. If you get it right,
you'll be the first person in the world to have
tickets to his first show or second show.

Speaker 7 (01:29:17):
I don't know which way to take it from.

Speaker 14 (01:29:19):
Erin.

Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (01:29:22):
Are you a Harry Styles fan?

Speaker 9 (01:29:24):
Yes, totally.

Speaker 6 (01:29:25):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (01:29:26):
Okay. This is yours.

Speaker 8 (01:29:27):
If you get it right, what did Noah wear last
night to Harry Styles and Madison Square Garden?

Speaker 1 (01:29:32):
Okay.

Speaker 27 (01:29:33):
He wore a black New York Harry Styles jersey with
a red tie that had disco balls all over it.
And he also had little kisses, tattoos on his forehead.

Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
The details.

Speaker 7 (01:29:45):
Well done.

Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
I'm impressed.

Speaker 7 (01:29:48):
Well done. You win.

Speaker 2 (01:29:49):
Woohoo!

Speaker 3 (01:29:50):
Yay!

Speaker 23 (01:29:51):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 10 (01:29:53):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 15 (01:29:54):
You just made us so excited.

Speaker 27 (01:29:55):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 7 (01:29:57):
You're going to see Harrison B. Stiles.

Speaker 4 (01:30:02):
Oh, my gosh. You guys just made our day.

Speaker 7 (01:30:05):
Congratulations, Erin. Thanks for listening.

Speaker 6 (01:30:08):
Thank you.
