Speaker 1 (00:02):
Wake you as up, John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
You're like, what's crack a leg? And this is the
big boss dog snoopy deegle, double gigsel dang boom. What
you don't do.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
We're not talking about Rich ten team, We're not talking
about last It's the one and only Dogmatis people double
gig in your face to be and.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
In the place to be. And you're listening to John
Jay and Rich. Wake your ass, John J. And Rich.
It's Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Fourth.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Our phone number is eight seven seven nine three seven
one oh four seven. You can text us, text the show.
You text J J and R. Well, you text jj
R and then what do you want to say to
us to nine six eight ninety three real quick.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Here's a quick text from six oh two. Number just
came in, John J. Rich.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Another similarity between your show and the Netflix show. Nobody
wants this because I already talked about, you know, the
Rich and the pray Go Pray Go, and I already
talked about how there was a guy named Kyle on
the show. But right before that was a scene where
a woman says she had a flame with Adam Levine
and our Kyle is on the show and how to
flame with Adam Levine? Is this tell me that Sasha

(01:11):
the brother on the show and Grant are not the
same characters. They sound exactly the same, They're both are
four to twenty friendly, and I'm guessing they both have
the same stylent clothes.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
How'd you go with that? That's pretty close?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Isn't there a character on the show named Noah too?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
There is a character on the show.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I went back and rewatched it, and I like started
to pick up on more stuff like that. I kind
of love that.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
And then Richie said something yesterday that we kind of
brushed over too. She catches a stray dog, she takes
it to a dog rescue. Yeah, right, like it's too much. Meanwhile,
both the creators of the show have commented on my review,
so yeah, they've liked and commented.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
And shared what they say. Well, she liked it.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
And then and then the other girl, the main one,
Sarah fhosce reposted it with a thumbs up on it
on her Instagram.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
So that means they have access to our show. Right,
Sometimes I think it's just the four of us in here.
No one's listening. I think you're right.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
We were talking the other day about this h strike
that was going off and how there's no toilet paper
and opener towels, and how with the safe way and
you can only get one paper towel and one underwear
or one underwear one toilet paper thing.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
But cale you experienced it as well. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I actually just went to Costco for some groceries, like usual, right,
and we are kind of like running low on toilet paper.
So I'm like, oh, well, i'm here.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I usually always get.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Toilet paper and paper towels whenever I'm at Costco, because
that's just what you do. So I, you know, make
my way all the way to the back where the
paper products are. And sure enough, as I'm going back there,
I actually see one of the employees of Costco talking
to another guy and he's like, yep, we're out of
toilet paper. And I'm like, come on, are you kidding me?
So I wheel my car over there, and sure enough,

(02:53):
where all the toilet paper is, there's this empty spot
and I'm.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Like, not again, cod not again.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Like supposedly, this poor strike isn't even.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Going to affect the toilet paper. That's not what that's
not what's going to be in shortage. Apparently.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
But then I'm like, I mean, I get it because
it's like it's like we all have flashbacks from the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
You know what I mean, you've all seen those signs.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah, it's totally what it felt like going in there, like,
and everyone's like everyone's carts look normal, Like nobody seems
to be panic buying anything else.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
It's just the toilet what is it? A tar country too,
that does it too? Nobody else freaks out like that,
but America, we want our toilet paper. The good news, though,
is that the strike is already they're already going back
to wor.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
I was going to say, I was at this charity
function last night and a couple people were talking about
how it's over, but it's going to start again in January.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Yeah. They basically put a like a a hold on.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
It tentative pay agreement that they've come to.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
So if everyone I don't know what it's about, I'm
just like, don't let it affect the toilet paper.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Do you guys even remember like during COVID, did people
actually run out of toilet paper? Like was that a thing?
People were running out? I know people were going and
clearing out the sho But was there a toilet paper shortage?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah, exactly. Remember I think I was even born then.
Honestly five years.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Ago in my early twenties, I barely remember any part
of that part of I.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Wanted to use that your grandma shirt.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, days were starting to sell out on Amazon too,
and I remember like we had people calls up saying
what they were using instead of toilet because they had
run out. Actually, ant thing was was what made me
discover that my father in law actually hoards toilet paper.
But it wasn't a COVID thing. He's done this his

(04:34):
whole life. Like, I had no idea, and I was like,
what if we run out? And Scott's like, we're fine, Like,
what do you mean we're fine? He's like, my dad
has some. I'm like, when I want to take toilet
paper from your dad? He's like, no, we're fine. He
has cupboards and cupboards of toilet paper.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I'm like, he shouldn't do that. He should like people,
you're you're not supposed to overbuy.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
So other people's like, no, he's had these for years.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Really, So he goes to the grocery store. He probably
takes a couple roles, just jes case. It just keeps
building up and building up.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And building up.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
He's got quite the collection, you guys, quite the collection.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
So funny
